Omg, I just realized something that’s not gonna add much to the narrative or if anyone has noticed it.
Here we go.
So basically in episode 12, Vash did his girlboss move of flinging himself and Nai over the ledge.
And as they’re falling, I noticed something:
Tumblr media
To me, this reminds of the Yin Yang symbol:
Tumblr media
Then I remember that one post where someone mentioned where Vash in episode 12 wore the colors of ‘evil’ (black and purple).
Knives wore the colors of ‘good’ (white and blue).
They’re polar opposites of one another.
And that got me thinking more in depth with their relation with Yin Yang.
Obviously everyone is familiar with two sides of the same coin. It’s the same idea with Yin Yang, they’re polar opposites but they complement each other.
As part of the Naruto fandom (*groans*, I know I know). But hear me out, lots of symbolism that is related to Naruto and Sasuke is their relation to the sun and moon respectively.
Naruto is the sun. The Yang per say, because he is bright, aggressive and masculine. His respective color is orange.
While Sasuke is the moon. The Yin, because he is with the shadows, silent and feminine. His respective color is purple.
If you read the Naruto manga, then you would see how much Kishimoto bashes your head in with their respective symbolism, it’s in the cover art, the parallelism in the panels. It even showed up as their respective symbols on their hands after the ceremony for the final battle.
Back to TriStamp.
I believe they put Knives as Yang. He is aggressive and very in your face with his conquests of taking back the Plants. He is very muscular, and it’s shown through his tight bodysuit.
Then they would put Vash as Yin. He is way less aggressive with his morals than his previous counterparts. Obviously he still has them, but he is less forthcoming. His entire character design has changed, as everyone says with his non-binary haircut.
But in certain scenes, he still has those broad shoulders and managed to lift a fucking ion cannon enough to break his prosthetic arm. So, my babygirl is still fucking strong, hmph.
It’s even mentioned that the director of TriStamp has said Vash is both the female and male lead.
Same thing with Sasuke, some Studio Perriot staff has stated that he is the heroine of the story.
Obviously Naruto and Sasuke’s relationship heavily implies they’re in love with each other and soulmate coded to the max.
(Ha, get it? Trigun MAXimum??)
(. . ., I’ll see myself out).
But they did a different relationship of Yin Yang:
Twins.
Knives wanted desperately Vash to be the ‘perfect’ version that he envisioned. Taking away Vash’s bodily autonomy.
Vash just wanted to have ‘love and peace’ in the world. He didn’t want to fight Knvies, but he would defend his loved ones.
Until during episode 12, when he was ready to go in guns blazing to take down Knives.
With the color palette of black and purple against Knives’s white and blue.
Purple is the combination of red and blue. Vash’s red jacket and part of Knives’s color palette.
But also in the end, when Vash wanted to shoot that cube up in the sky.
He still wanted to save his brother, even though Knives was rejecting it by reaching to the absolute power of the cube and what it would bring him and Plant kind.
An Icarus-esque trope per say.
But yeah, anyways, this was just a jumble of thoughts I had to immediately write this down.

𝐀 𝐃𝐎𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐇𝐔𝐒𝐁𝐀𝐍𝐃
Tumblr media
Pairing: Trueform!Sukuna x f!Reader
Summary: Your husband usually calls for you to join him during his bath.
Warnings: MDNI, mentions of Sukuna killing people, rough pregnancy, Sukuna being fluffy (so slightly ooc), reader is mean to Sukuna
Discord +18 - Twitter - Ko-Fi
Tumblr media
Ever since you shared the news of your pregnancy with your husband, Sukuna has become more loving. The man who’d talk to you however he wanted, now makes sure to soften his voice when talking to you. He wants to see you every hour of the day, even when you don’t want to see him. Sukuna is seeing how you’re struggling with your pregnancy, and he wants to check up on you constantly.
You’re not too far along that you both know of, yet you’re huge. He grows worried that his selfish want of a child will cause you harm. There’s one person that Sukuna would die for, and it’s you. If something were to happen to you because of himself then he’d– He doesn’t want to think of it.
Lately he’s been asking to take baths with you. At the end of the day, a servant walks into your chambers and informs you, “Lord Sukuna requests for you to join him in his bath, mistress.”
She bows her head to not look at you, scared that she’ll end up like the last servant that dared to look you in the eye. It was Sukuna’s doing because how dare someone look his wife in the eye? You sigh before telling her, “I’ll be there in a second.”
She stands in the entrance of your room, given orders to not leave without you. Sure, Sukuna requests to see you but it’s an order from him. You don’t have much of an option.
You follow behind her, and she excuses herself when you’re finally with him. Sukuna lays comfortably in the water, patiently waiting for you to get undressed and join him in the water. He watches as you take off all your garments and walk over to him when you’re completely bare.
“You need to start leaving me alone, you’re starting to annoy me.” You tell him as you get in the water. Sukuna chuckles, finding it amusing how you’ve completely stopped fearing him. One of his hands caresses you from your breasts to your bump, resting there.
“Now, why are you getting mad at me? I thought you wanted a loving husband?” Sukuna comments, kissing the top of your head. Your hand rests on top of his, lightly squeezing it.
“I wanted one before he got me pregnant. I swear I must be carrying twins– Or the baby also has four arms. I don’t know, I’m just miserable.” You confess, and Sukuna kisses the top of your head again. He really shouldn’t have expected it to be any different. Sukuna’s huge, why would his baby be any different?
“It’s just one and done then?” He asks, and you hum in response. Maybe your answer will be different in a few years, but for now it’s that. He feels a tug on his heartstrings, seeing how much you’re struggling. He’s worried. “Are you holding up okay, though?”
“Not like we could do anything if I wasn’t.” You answer. He’s definitely much softer than your usual husband, and you would’ve loved it if you weren’t carrying a monster child. His hand remains on your stomach, and he feels as his baby kicks while you moan in pain. Sukuna shushes you, feeling as his baby moves.
“I’m trying to feel him! Shut up, woman!” He raises his voice, and you slightly turn to glare at him. A look that would surely kill you if you were anyone else.
“How does me making noise correlate with you feeling the baby! Think, Sukuna! Use your fucking brain.” You’re definitely bolder than usual, which makes him laugh.
“You’re so beautiful when you’re yelling at me.” He says, grabbing your hand and bringing it up to his lips so he can kiss it. “I love seeing you demanding and mean. It shows the effect I have on you.”
“Really?” You answer, and he hums in response. There’s no better time to bring up what’s been bugging you than now. “I hate that new servant you took in. Kick her out.”
“And why is that?” He asks.
“She was looking at you funny.” You respond.
“In the sense?”
“She has the hots for you, and I don’t like it.”
“Hmm… What if I was looking for–” He begins and you glare at him. He doesn’t have much of a sense of humor, but he guesses that’s something that’s off limits when he tries to joke. “Don’t you want me to do more?”
“Like what?” You question, even though you should know your husband better than anyone.
“Kill her.” He answers.
“Hmm… Up to you.” You reply. You lay comfortably on his chest, feeling as his finger traces lazy circles on your belly. You change the topic, “Why do you think it’s a boy?”
“I can’t see myself with a daughter.”

Astro observations🌺
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
FYI I’m not a real astrologer, just my observations :) TW🔞
The cancer moon men I know are pretty chill and laid back + funny, but the women are so bitchy and moody😭 with a big sweet tooth
Every twin I know either has Gemini or Pisces placements
You ever meet someone and their neck just stands out for some reason added points if they smell good, most likely they’re a Taurus rising/ mars. Good example is Megan thee stallion her neck is so cute to me hehe
Aries in the chart can show you the things you were introduced to at a very young age, the early memories that you think of and say ‘That was wild lol’
3rd: could’ve started learning way before you started school(like flash cards and things) siblings and cousins, music, having access to electronics early
4th: erratic home life, the woman around you could be go getters
6th: could’ve got a lot of injuries when younger, probably couldn’t have a peaceful day even if you tried, bad experiences with animals
7th: domestic abuse, might have seen people having affairs, lots of disagreements between couples
12th:paranormal events, you could’ve had a lot of deja vu moments without even knowing, tend to have strong spiritual gifts, people having ill intentions towards you
Aquarius moon or degree/ moon in the 11th tend to have a “second mom” a person that treats them like their one of their own children, sometimes even better than their own mother does. 🌚
The people with mars in the first house I know have so many battle scars on their body
Moon/cancer in 3rd love changing their voices, and they have a bad habit of not telling the whole truth / white lies
Water sign on the descendent- people are always wondering what you’re up to, no matter how much you show them they’ll still wanna know what you’re hiding
Your first house correlates to how you came into this world, I have Chiron (ruled by Virgo) in my 12 conjunct my ascendant, uhm she said she almost d*ed having me😀 and I was a C-section baby. And the hospital did her so dirty(you know much they hate black women) they didn’t even stitch her back up correctly or drain her fluids and to this day she still has problems. The also gave her extra dosages of drugs just cause she’s a plus size woman- honestly I could go on and on but it really correlates with my cap rising and Neptune/Uranus in 1st
Mercury ☌ Sun, these people voices are just💋💋 they sound so sensual and unique ugh hard to explain it but 🥴 ex. Jungkook , Tupac
Gemini/ Libra in 2nd love collecting things like figurines makeup clothes candles plushies, could easily be a borderline hoarder tho
Ives noticed that sun in 10th have a strained relationship with their father, but their later years in life their relationship gets better, or not could really go either way, also could have money issues in their early years but ends up climbing the corporate ladder. It may take you a while to tho but just know it’ll be worth it in the end :) also they always stand out at their work place in some way, the coworker that you’re glad to see clock in at rush hour cause you know they gonna handle shit
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Venus- mercury positive aspects love giving out nicknames to their favorite people 🥺if they’re always calling you cute names just know they really care about you lol
Sag moons and degrees have no chill😀 like calm down bae sag anything tbh🚬
9th house ruler in the 11th could go to the same college with their old friends or could become very popular in the area they’re in, I think they’d make good bloggers
Air signs or degrees in 5th are trend setters.
Aquarius you inspire people, they could take things and make it into their own like art
With gemini here people will “copy & paste” ur looks. But no matter what it just looks like a knockoff version of what you did lmao it just never look as good as yours
Libra here people are very opinionated on how you express yourself either in a good way or bad, neither less you guys get a lot of compliments on your style
Every time I see a Capricorn rising with Neptune in the 1st it’s like their skin is see through and fragile😯makes sense tho since caps rule the skin and Neptune fogs things up. A good example is Ariana Grande her skin looks so delicate
Pluto/Scorpio in the 11th/11th house ruler in 8th, your friends could hate each other🤺 also they could have a rough life/childhood, trauma bonding or just experiencing traumatic events together is common here
Chiron in Aries (honestly any Aries placements it just depends on where it is), most people didn’t pay attention to them in their childhood in some way so they learned to be independent because of their lack of support cardinal things fr
That’s all for today! Give me a follow if you enjoyed💕

Germa and French references
(Plus bonus Star Wars mention at the end)
Sanji's iron mask in the flashbacks immediately made me think of Dumas's works, but when I saw it I didn't think much about it. It's just like, "Oh I guess it's just part of the Sanji = French thing". Plus in one of the cover arts Sanji was drawn in a classic Musketeer outfit, so I thought it was just for fun.
But Twitter user Marudoro-san made this thread that pointed out a bunch of the same references I'd caught and said "Hey, maybe this is actually important to the plot later", and I think they have a point. So I figured I'd share what I'd already noticed, and I will highlight the input that I got from Marudoro-san in red here in this post.
Iron Mask
The man in the iron mask is a French prisoner whose identity is never truly known in history. In his novel, Alexandre Dumas invented a plot where the iron masked prisoner is the twin brother of King Louis XIV, and the plot involves the famous Musketeers from the previous novels in a conspiracy of switching the king for the twin brother.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
At a glance, it might be just a literary Easter egg, but when I look at it again, I do start to have questions. Within the One Piece scenario context, this is unnecessary. In the Dumas novel, the mask seems to be needed to hide the prisoner's identity. But there's no need to hide Sanji's identity, and it's not to prevent him from shouting for help because he can still talk even with the mask. What is it for? Is it a clue that the Man in the Iron Mask novel is relevant to this story?
For one, the fact that the iron masked prisoner being the king's twin is noteworthy. Sanji is one of 4 quadruplets, but still. Marudoro said that maybe this is a sign that Sanji and Ichiji will have a confrontation later. This makes sense, because of the other Vinsmokes, the one most likely to represent a "king" would be Ichiji.
This is something I myself had considered before, that Ichiji specifically might later have a role as "Sanji's opposite". I don't know how yet, but the imagery and themes that I've seen so far seems to point that way.
Marudoro also points out that if you look into the Musketeer novels, Sanji has vibes similar to Aramis, who is described as something of a womaniser. Aramis happens to be the mastermind behind the twin conspiracy in the Iron Mask novel.
The correlation is vague, and it's hard to tell how is this going to be relevant, besides maybe "there might be other French history/literature references in Germa's storyline".
Les Misérables, Revolution, the French Royalty
The only two Germa servants who actually has proper names, head chef Cosette and Sora's personal servant Eponi, seem to be references to the Les Misérables characters Cosette and Eponine. Part of the narrative of Les Mis is the June Rebellion, an uprising of the anti-monarchists.
In the Soul Pocus song that serves as the outro of the WCI arc, the "lyrics" specifically has the exact word "guillotine". For many people, guillotine is very closely linked to the image of the French Revolution and the execution of King Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette.
Tumblr media
Speaking of guillotine... Yonji's attack, translated as "Winch Guillotine" in the official translation, is actually called "Winch Danton" in the raw. This is possibly a reference to Georges Danton, and important figure of French Revolution, who is curiously executed by guillotine.
Sensei clearly knows the word guillotine, so why not just flat out call it "Winch Guillotine" like the translation?
Tumblr media
For whatever it's worth, Danton was someone who was executed for opposing the new government after the first revolution. The revolutionaries got so bad that it was called the "Reign of Terror", so Danton turned against them and was trying to oppose this cruelty.
Yonji is rather visibly the least "bad" of the brothers and his reactions are almost like a "normal person" in a lot of ways, so maybe this is significant?
Marudoro-san said that the Nyasha/cat carriage the Vinsmokes were riding when they were about to meet Big Mum was incredibly similar to the funerary carriage of King Louis XVIII. While there are some differences, they do have a point.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Again, it's still unclear about what significance all of this stuff will have. Maybe the imagery of "revolution" and "King's funeral" indicate that Germa will be undergoing a lot of changes. Something that's beyond just the formation of Neo MADS.
The Knights Hospitaller... and Napoleon?
Marudoro-san says there's an interesting parallel between Germa and the Knights Hospitaller. This is a chivalric order that has privileges that puts them equal to a sovereign power. They have minimal land holdings, but has the standing almost on par with that of a nation. It's like the landless Germa, who is still recognised as a kingdom by WG up until their privileges were taken away after the mess in WCI.
The Knights has lost a lot of its power and territories in Europe through history, and finally, its headquarters in Malta was sacked by Napoleon. Marudoro-san highlighted that Big Mum's hat and sword was called Napoleon.
Marudoro-san took this analysis elsewhere, but for my part, I'm wondering if Germa almost being destroyed at WCI is a parallel of this attack of the Knights in Malta, with Big Mum being the parallel to Napoleon.
The possible proof of the Napoleon parallel is Law. Law was heavily instrumental in Big Mum's defeat in Wano, and his name are connected to events related to Napoleon's downfall.
Napoleon suffered a major defeat at the Battle of Trafalgar, and the man who was his jailer to the point of his death was a surgeon's son named Hudson Lowe. Law and Lowe looks different in English, but in Japanese both are spelled the same: ロー.
[Edit: Napoleon was also famously defeated in the Battle of Waterloo. In Japanese, Waterloo is spelled like this: ワーテルロー. It contains the same "ロー" as in Law's name.]
Marudoro-san said that Napoleon's invasion of Malta involved tricking the Knights to letting him dock under false pretences. I don't know how true this is, but at the very least this is a narrative that is accessible to the Japanese. One could argue that this is parallel to the conspiracy in Whole Cake.
If this parallel is really correct, then, this could be a hint of "Good Germa".
The Knights Hospitaller surrendered and survived that Napoleon encounter, with its status being even more diminished. Eventually it restructured as the Sovereign Military Order of Malta, which still has its sovereign authorities (Wikipedia says they can even issue passports and currency), but is now an organisation whose activities are focused on charity.
Bonus: The Jedi and Clone Wars?? (Star Wars)
Marudoro-san also mentioned that the 66 of Germa reminds them of Order 66 from Star Wars, which ended the Jedi order and enabled the Sith to rise to power.
I only understand Star Wars very minimally myself, but a fan I talked to on Twitter confirmed to me that they think so as well. Especially because there's the specific focus on Germa soldiers being clones, and it's reminiscent of the whole clone plotline in Star Wars.
Order 66 ended the Jedi. The 66 of Germa is in reference to the destruction of the old Germa Empire.
If this parallel is true, then this might confirm the theory that "Germa is not actually evil before". If we read that the "Sith" is World Government, and the old Germa is "Jedi", then maybe it's hinting that all the story about them being evil in the past is a lie? They may be awful now because Judge is so driven by revenge, but maybe they were actually not evil before.

Do you think Ai was emotionally numb? Or she was passive? I mean she is def not ok/stable emotionally but what do you think about her emotional state?
If anything, I would actually say the opposite - Ai's issue is that she feels things very strongly but after spending basically her entire life only able to express a very narrow band of her full emotional range, she has been left largely incapable of comprehending and contextualizing her own emotions.
This is likely something she would've had difficulty with regardless of whether or not she became an idol. Ai is explicitly a child of an extremely emotionally and physically abusive household and implicitly a person with autism. Both of these things individually can contribute to or correlate with the development of alexithymia, which is basically just the fancy medical term for the type of emotional blindness and struggles with organic empathy that we see present in Ai, both in the main series and the side stories.
The first chapter of Spica is quite telling in this regard, set as it is in the POV of a much younger Ai who is still fresh to being an idol and hasn't quite remade herself as a liar just yet. In fact, she is characterized here as being too honest, blunt and straightforward to the point of rudeness. But as Ai herself puts it:
All Ai ever did was say what was on her mind, plain and simple. It wasn't like she was going out of her way to make people either like or dislike her.
Not only is this fascinating from a perspective of contrast with her older self, it's also indicative that this alexithymia is something inherent to the way she behaves socially even outside of being an idol. This behavior is so instinctive to her, in fact, that part of her arc in Spica revolves around her having to literally, textually and explicitly learn how to mask and perform 'normal' behaviour like the presumably neurotypical people around. It's kind of funny how on the nose it is.
Now take all of that and add it to the fact that Ai spent all of her teen years, the period of her life where she would have been able to start working this shit out and forging her own identity, aggressively curating her emotional responses and performing a version of herself that is, by her own admission, simply inhuman. Always smiling, never showing any negativity or vulnerability. She must perform as a maximally enthralling and captivating version of herself, adhering to an ever-increasing and self-contradicting set of expectations. She is not just a person, but a product to be sold and one that must increasingly return the investments others have put into her. She has to be everything to everyone and even when she succeeds at doing so, she ends up being punished for it.
With all that in mind, it really is no surprise that she ends up relatively detached and necessarily distant from her own emotions as an idol, but that doesn't mean that she doesn't feel them as a person. At various points across the prologue arc, we even see her slip into spirals of negativity in surprising contrast to the assertions of characters later in the story that she never let any of it show.
Not only that but the biggest, most explosive show of outward emotion we ever see from Ai in the series is her spontaneous, authentic and goofy ass smile when she spots the twins performing their wota dance.
Tumblr media
Definitely not the face of a girl who's emotionally numb!

Hunter x Hunter: pain packer pt 5 pt 2
pt 5.5 if you will
i didnt intend to make this immediately but the demons demanded it.
i also give you the thought of feitan studying fashion design for a time to figure out how to conjure his various suits for each form before i completely lose my mind.
Fire: levels 1-5 (correlates to the number of bones broken, scales exponentially)
Wildfire: hot enough to burn skin but relatively low heat
Rising Sun: its a miniature sun! you're cooked
Meteor Shower (specifically multiple ribs shattered): tracking bolts of pure fire, everyone within range gets one to play with
Supernova: starts as a sun, you have about 5 seconds to run away before that thing fucking explodes into a supernova.
Neutron Star: a much smaller star that burns so much hotter and even drags its victims in with an incredibly powerful gravitational pull. if you aren't braced on something that can withstand that gravity then you will be sucked straight into that point of insane heat and immediately incinirated
Water: levels 1-5 (correlates to rate of blood lost volume/time)
Tidal Wave: Creates a tidal wave that hits with enough force to immobilize even the strongest opponent. Not a guaranteed kill
The Great Wave: based on the historic painting and basically tidal wave but with so much extra power behind that force and is capable of breaking bone on impact. Also not a guaranteed kill.
Typhoon: spins the water around in a typhoon centered around himself with winds fast enough to move water fast enough to where it cuts through anything it touches.
Sheer Cold: same as tidal wave but the water is now frigid and the shock alone could kill on the spot regardless of defense. the water is just that cold.
i dont have a good fifth one, suggestions are appreciated, can go in any of the levels
Electricity: levels 1-5 (correlates to what degree the burn is and then how many burns he has) (all attacks hit automatically unless opponent can exceed the speed of light)
Nervous Overload: basically forces a heart attack but the slow kind. snaps the vagus nerve in half and stops the automatic pulse of the heart. Technically not a guaranteed kill but the opponent has to be expecting it
Lightning: Single bolt of lightning, enough to paralyze and maybe kill depending on who it's used on.
Twin Spears: Two bolts of lightning. wow shocking. (please laugh)
Spear of Zeus: super charged bolt of lightning that remains on the target for the duration of the attack.
Solar Storm: believe it or not this is still electricity. instant kill. it doesn't matter who you are or what you do. you cannot stop this unless you have an incredibly powerful magnetic field.
Air: levels 1-3 (correlates to personal assessment and degree of threat to his life)
Ruthless Zephyr: winds that reach speeds up to 200 mph (321km/h)
Empty Space: seals the area of effect and then instantly vacuum seals it, causing the opponent to either suffocate or explode from the lungs. slow death (max 2 minutes)
Venus Sky: dumps the atmospheric pressure of venus onto his opponent. which is about 50-100x(?) the pressure on earth so it would crush the human flat immediately.
honestly i dont think air needs more than this. but if anyone has more suggestions im down to listen. i am just a nerd :D
this is a certified nen nerd post. kinda. more like am overall nerd.

Hello. I love your blog very much, honestly, thank you for sharing your ideas, theories... My first language is not English, so excuse me if you don't understand everything I'm going to say. It's about Black Butler... I've been thinking and I would like to know what do you think, about the idea of the end of Kuroshitsuji where O!Ciel gives his soul to Sebastian, but his physical body becomes resurrected just like his twin brother? Do you see that idea possible? Do you think O!Ciel would learn how to live for himself and not for revenge??
Hey Anon ! Don't worry, my first language isn't English either and your English is very good ! :))
Thank you very much for reading and for the nice words (^3^) that question is very interesting.
First of all, I'd like to remind you that, for now, my favorite possible ending for Kuroshitsuji would be Seb not getting to eat our!Ciel's soul, whether our!Ciel survives or dies at the end.
Aside from that, I don't think our!Ciel's meant to become a bizarre doll, mostly because bizarre dolls are a plot point correlated with not mourning one's grief and being unable to move on.
Take UT who made it happen,
Tumblr media
take Queen Victoria who's interested in it (for war and maybe to bring Albert back),
Tumblr media Tumblr media
take any of the Parliamentarians who were afraid to die,
Tumblr media
take even Bizarre Dolls themselves who are perfect if they have a lot of "yearning for the future"...
Tumblr media
...and you have the main recipe for antagonists in Kuroshitsuji (UT perhaps being the sole exception since Yana said "he may not be exactly an antagonist").
Our!Ciel himself is a main character obsessed with living to get his revenge, with finding out what happened to his family 4 years ago, knowing very well that, through his contract with Seb, that means giving up voluntarily on his happiness and hope for his future.
For me, what makes Kuroshitsuji such a good story is that it establishes, despite having a demon eating souls as its main character, that getting obsessed about revenge is not a good thing, because ultimately one has to move on with their life.
Mourning is painful and takes time, but it's a process that is necessary if one intends to move on. The Bizarre Doll project in all its aspects is the antithesis of that and that's why I don't think our!Ciel, whom the story establishes is on the wrong path for being revenge-obsessed, is meant to become one.
Tumblr media
In fact, it's because real!Ciel is a potential big bad antagonist (please read the RCMT recap post, in case you don't understand what I mean) that he's the one who became a Bizarre Doll. Just like Queen Victoria being in a contract with a demon and possibly the culprit behind Vincent's and Rachel's murders is paralleling our!Ciel wanting revenge through a contract with a demon like Seb.
It's all about parallels and about our!Ciel facing people who made the wrong choices before him, hence why 1) I'm hoping that Seb won't get to eat his soul, because 2) our!Ciel will finally admit that losing his soul to Seb is not what he wants, since only living for revenge is not exactly living in the first place [x][x] and breaking the cycle of revenge his family was caught into is perhaps his fate.
The way I see things, Yana hinting that UT may not exactly be a villain is because UT is the only character affiliated with the BD project who will maybe realize that, by not mourning dead Phantomhives, he'll lose the ones who are still alive (our!Ciel, Frances, Liz, Ed).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
TL;DR for me the story calls for the failure and destruction of the BD project first and for our!Ciel to give up on the contract with Seb second, because moving on is ultimately what Kuroshitsuji is about (and don't even get me started on the fall of the Shinigami organization for the exact same reason).
So I don't know if our!Ciel will survive this story, but I certainly hope he won't become a BD, because thematically it makes no sense ! As always, I could be wrong though.
I hope I answered your questions ? Thank you again for reading and for the sweet words !! Have a good day. :))

The Other Side of Suzui Ryota
Tumblr media
What do you think of Suzui Ryota from Kakegurui? I can tell that most of you will tell that he's a useless character who always follows Yumeko's to wherever he go.
Most of Kakegurui fans are even not sure of what's purpose that Ryota serves in the Kakegurui plot so far and even in some forums, I saw many people makes fun of him by saying "Who the fuck is Suzui?" and there's also limited fanfictions or fanarts about him too.
Well, everybody can have their opinions, but is it justified to plainly deem Suzui Ryota as useless characters? I'm personally thinking it's not and I have one sole reason for it.
It is because Suzui Ryouta might be the only character in Kakegurui that has not clear past and much details besides the ones that the viewers saw in anime and the readers saw in the manga.
Kakegurui franchise has been up and running since 2017 until now. Besides its main manga, it's also already produced the character's spin-off like Mary's Kakegurui Twin or Midari in her own manga story.
And yet, In all those things, Suzui Ryouta's past or details about him are still lies in darkness while the other characters like Kirari, Sayaka, Yumeko, Mary, and many others are having their own "explanations" about who they are, what they do, and so on.
To understand that, first we need to at least to knows what's the intent of the author for Ryouta's character. In many articles, it is stated that Ryota is positioned as "observer" and "storyteller" to what's happened in Kakegurui's series, particularly about Yumeko's journey where he was acted as her companion throughout the story.
Compared to other characters, Ryouta seems doesn't have "other clear purpose" other than being a support and close friend to Yumeko.
But keep in mind that the official wiki still officially recognized Ryota as one of the main protagonists of the series. Then, it is raised some questions which correlates to my early statement. If he's one of the protagonists, then why any details regarding who he actually is and his past are very limited? or Will there any character development for him in the future?
To answer those questions, we will need to breakdown some key points about him and his correlation to the plot.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
We already know a little about Ryouta in the beginning as he was fell into housepet status after losing to Mary in a gambling game, then he met Yumeko who helped him regain his human status, and then starts a friendship with her.
Besides of that, Ryota is also shown holding a position as class representation. Anything other than that ? nada. We don't know much more about his other activities in the school like if he's belong to any clubs in the school and so on.
Other things about him is, he's actually a very smart person who's excelling in his academic study (although Hyakkaou Academy is not focusing much on academic or sports). He's also very quick to understand what's going on in a gamble (both involved or just watching) and also has an expertise to analyse every single details and devising solutions.
This traits of his is showing several times in both manga and anime version, particularly around Yumeko's gamble against Midari where his approach is succesfully getting both him and Yumeko out from danger of Midari's game of death or how he quickly realize Kirari's manipulation on the entire tarot game.
It shows that Ryota is actually a good gambler and he has so many potentials on it. The only thing that holds him back is his low self-esteem, reluctant personality and low level of confidence. When he's with Yumeko, he's not only watch over her but he also learns a lot from her and after so many chapters in the manga, he's shown a growth in his gambling skills and confidence level which one point for his character development.
Tumblr media
Another interesting point about him is how he seems the only one in Kakegurui franchise who doesn't have "psychopatic" traits like the others. He's shown to be a nice and kind person who also rarely holds grudge against people. His personality is calm and sensible which also added by his honesty trait.
Looking at those, it seems that we are looking Ryouta as the only colored thing in the middle of black and white. This is his exceptional things that makes him different and also on the same time, special from the other characters. To put it more dramatically, Ryota is like the sailor whose ship is trying to survive in the sea of madness which is the Hyakkaou Academy.
After that, from here thing is getting more interesting. Who is Suzui Ryouta actually is and his family background?
To begin with, there's no clear details on that, but the wiki said that he has unnamed parents. A Day after Yumeko helped him pay his 5 million yen debt to student council, Ryota is offering 1 million yen that he borrows from his parents to pay Yumeko back which Yumeko simply refused.
It's indicating that Ryota is coming from a rich family while it's also considering that how he can enrol in Hyakkaou possibly from regular way where he need to make frequent deposit to student council and school fee.
But who is Ryota's family is still clouded in dark. But we might have a lead on this. In one reddit thread few years ago, it is said that Ryota is coming from a famous wealthy baker family with the brand name "Seikadou". Here's the overview.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The interruptions when he's about to saying "Oh, It's our ..." is really one strong proof about his family's business. It is still not confirmed yet, but this cake business theory is the most logical one to explain more about him.
Another thing about him is, people don't realize that he is actually existed all the time in any of Kakegurui franchises so far, whether it's the main manga, twin, or Midari.
For example, both Kakegurui twin and Kakegurui Midari are both set in the previous year of main Kakegurui manga plot which makes Ryota is strongly possible in both spin-offs, although his names are not mentioned.
But is is definitely happened since the gap between the two spin-offs and the main story is only one year apart which means that Ryota is already there wandering the school and knows every events in both spin-offs like the raise of Mary, the full bloom society, and so on. After all, Ryota's is very aware of his surroundings so he's keeping on track.
What's he's doing on that period? It's still a big mystery, but judging from his behaviour, he might be living a quiet and ordinary gambling and schooling far from the spotlight. As mentioned above too, there's also question if whether he's involved in a club's school too.
Well, I can't say for sure, but Ryota is probably involved in one or maybe just spend his days of gambling and socializing with his friends. Just a completely ordinary guy.
For his love interest, well it's pretty obvious that Ryota probably holds a secret romantic feeling for Yumeko. He's stated it in sublime way when he's confessed that he wants to keep watching her in the best seat and walk with her when they faced Kirari in a tarot game. He even said that Yumeko's risk is also his risk which shows that he is ready to die anytime for Yumeko.
From this point, we already know there's so many undiscovered thing about Ryota's personal life and how his character's development happened in both manga and the anime which happened to be a lot without people noticing.
Being on the side of Yumeko all the time, Ryota is influenced by her but still in a positive way and accordingly. He's still trying to be himself and hopefully more of him will coming up so soon.
And that's it.
Hope you guys enjoy it.
Give me your thoughts in the comments yeah ?

He ran from his heart until his paws hurt
It was one of those nights. He sat on his balcony, meditating. The sun had set an hour ago. The crisp autumn air stung on his skin, as he thought about his crush. And how would he tell him how he felt. He could use some help, but he didn't want to be a wimp… He wanted to do it himself. But there was a problem.
He took a deep breath in when he heard the balcony door open. He turned to look there, seeing the familiar face of his younger brother.  ''Aren't you cold out here?'' He scoffed playfully, holding a duvet in his hands.  ''No, not really.'' The older brother said.  ''Well, I brought you a blanket anyway.'' He said.  ''Thanks Nour.'' He took the duvet and wrapped it around his shoulders. The softness of the purple and black bat duvet felt good on his hands.
They fell into silence. The older brother looked at the starry sky through the glass windows of the balcony that were shut. But soon, Nour broke the silence.  ''Deus, you should just let him know.'' He said in a soft and gentle, but stern voice.  ''I know… But I am afraid. How would he think of me if he finds out I am not just a fox, but…'' He went quiet, feeling his twin tails starting to form.  ''He will accept you. You know how he is.'' Nour sighed. ''You know him better than anyone else here. Hell, you know him best of our whole group!''  Deus fell in silence. He could feel his snout, ears… Paws. Fur.
''Open the window for me.'' He said. ''I want to go for a run.''  ''Don't try to run over the Atlantic again, okay?'' Nour chuckled, opening the window for him. ''You know the night won't allow you.''  ''I know,'' Deus said, biting back a growl, as he leaned forward. It wouldn't be his first waltz with the fox he called Revo, but it was the first time he would hop from his balcony.  ''Be careful.'' Nour said.  Deus nodded, as he turned into a black, twin-tailed fox on the balcony. He was bigger than an ordinary fox, and his tails sparked with green and pink fire, as it lit his fur in beautiful aurora greens, pinks, and purples. He hopped a few steps, before backing away to the back wall of the balcony, taking a few jumps, his fur sparkled with a white wave, then getting the beautiful aurora shade. He ran in the air and with the woosh of his tail, he painted the skies with auroras more beautiful than ever before. But those auroras held deep sorrow.
He could hear the people's voices from below.  ''Wow! Look at that!'' ''How?! There are no reports of Sun storms!'' ''Stop looking at your phone and look up!''
Deus felt everything at once. He felt deep sorrow. He felt deep happiness. He felt anger, embarrassment… He wanted to cry, to scream, to shout. So he screeched. Screamed. It sounded like a human… His scream echoed to the skies. His anger felt burning, his sadness clouded his eyes. He screamed again. He screeched again and again and again in frustration. He ran towards the full moon that shone in the sky. He screamed again, this time at the moon while he jumped from cloud to cloud. From wish to wish. He wanted to run so much further. He wanted to run away from these feelings. He never had a chance to feel them, other than as Revo. To scream at the moon. To scream in the skies because nowhere else was it ''appropriable'' to scream in pure emotion. He wanted to scream. He wanted to cry. He wanted to weep. Instead, he hopped higher and higher, until it felt like he could touch the moon… He stopped running, feeling the gravity taking hold of him and he began falling. Down back to earth. Back to the dark autumn night of Finnish skies.
He reached for the moon, growling as he spun around, continuing to run and color the skies with his tail. He painted in beautiful healing green, strengthening magenta, and bright wisteria purple, but the strong colors correlated differently in him. The mix of green and purple was a cry for help. The Magenta was his romantic, drowned feelings. He wasn't in the end afraid of what his crush would say. He was fearful of what he might do if he had a chance. How toxic would he be again? How would he behave? How would he destroy yet another…
He let out a scream. He needed to work out these emotions. He would need to talk about them, journal about them, and do some inner work… Before he could even think about telling about his feelings. He needed to sort himself out first. He kept his head high, tears running down from his eyes. His heart ached from the thought, so he screamed again. He wanted so badly, but couldn't get it. For one… It would be so far away. His crush lived in America… He lived in Europe. He had too high hopes. Or so it felt. He wanted to just run across the Atlantic, to get to… But he couldn't. The night didn't allow him. He could try to run within the night, but it wouldn't be a fast trip… It would take hours. He would take the chance if he had the energy, but right now he could be in this form, as Revo, running in the skies for 7 hours. It wouldn't be enough on any level, even though it was further from his half an hour which he started with.
He cried in the sky, running faster and faster, so fast his paws hurt… Yet he didn't stop for a second. He kept painting the skies, and as he finally stopped to rest on the roof of a high building he noticed it. The tens of thousands of hearts floating in the skies, some already slightly fading. He wanted to cry more… Because he didn't feel worth it.
He returned home… Hopping to the balcony, where Nour was still sitting with a cup of hot chocolate…

In the twin au as young children Toshinori and Rikiya are fighting and AFO separates them saying they shouldn't fight. It leads to a conversation about how AFO had a twin brother too and they fought a lot, but then his twin died and he wished they hadn't spent so much time fighting so they should be nicer and cherish one another instead of fighting all the time.
He conveniently omits the reason why they were fighting and that he's the reason why his brother is dead in the first place.
AFO is the parent who whips out traumatic family lore at the most random of times, to really instill 'family values' into his sons. Toshinori and Rikiya learn he had a twin early, and then it takes another few fights to learn that their uncle is dead, and a while after that, they're told that Yoichi was definitely Quirkless like them, but rejected AFO's offer of a Quirk. And they don't want to be dead like Yoichi, right?
(Rikiya: Father, I would like this specific Quirk. I know you have it. You have told us at length how you picked it off some 'self-righteous militant'. I think I should have it because *starts the PowerPoint*
Toshinori: *doubt.jpg* Dad told us that correlation doesn't mean causation. I think I might wait until I'm older, Father.)
And then Toshinori and Rikiya ask Sorahiko about his side of the family, and if he has any cool stories or dead siblings. Sorahiko tells them that the Torinos were a very boring family, and that he led an extremely normal childhood. The twins are deeply unsatisfied.

X-Men: Disproportionate Power, Disproportionate Disorder
Superheroes and Villains are already well understood to complicate traditional understandings of crime, law enforcement, and general social cohesion. When large numbers of people start manifesting powers, the problem only grows. As does the existential dread.
Previously I discussed why X-Men as a setting is fundamentally pessimistic as a necessity according to the creative choices made. It is an essay in 5 parts:
1,2,3,4,5
This is a new series analyzing how experience and social status influences Mutant outlooks on the assimilation vs separatism/supremacy question.
The last part unpacked Xavier’s relatively pampered background and how it likely made him more optimistic, but also how he’s seen more of the sharp end that he’s usually given credit for.
Mutants complicate systems of justice. Assuming the same spectrum of morality as Sapiens, Mutatis with Dark Triad personalities and high power levels, perhaps even Omega level, represent an existential threat. Unlike mortal Premieres and Presidents, someone like Apocalypse can’t easily be thwarted by a minion who simply doesn’t follow orders. Incidentally, I’d happily swap out pretty much any Federal holiday for a Vasily Arkhipov day.
X-Men is also rife with examples of Mutants with more minor abilities using them for criminal intent. Although we could of course fairly ask whether the lack of acceptance pushed them to this, we still must expect that even in a more just society, some Mutants will suffer mental health crises or otherwise simply be contrarian and problematic because it's part of the natural spectrum of Humanity.
Much of social thought is oriented around the idea that you can design a society that rewards good behavior and works around the worst instincts of humans very effectively. Debates over models and systems are functionally debates over what is the more correct understanding of human motivation and behavior and the best way to encourage “good” behavior and discourage “bad” behavior, and to a great extent by what rubrics we should judge good and bad.
I think all told, we have done better than many historical societies: a person in the 70s/80s would be shocked at how low US rates of violent crime are. This is the era that gave us Escape from New York and Judge Dredd: the idea of entire cities as prisons.
This is perhaps not an unfamiliar concept to those who watch closely the status and fates of stateless and displaced people now that information more widely circulates, but many people had their ideas about cities shaped by historical crime waves. Many people are also slow to update their assumptions about cities and carry those biases to the present..
I’ve seen it noted that the correlation between living in a rural area and skepticism of government and the regulation of behavior, the so-called “nanny state”, may represent a difference in experience. In the country or small towns, dumb or antisocial behavior has lighter consequences. It impacts fewer people. If you’re playing around with distilling, making homemade explosives, or just having a loud party, the distance between homes often means it's largely the problem of the people involved in doing something reckless or stupid if something goes wrong.
If you throw an all night rager in a densely packed apartment building with walls that wouldn’t pass muster as Amazon packing material, you’re likely to make a lot of enemies. Same as if you start playing around with toxic chemicals. Expectations that people will simply self-regulate, following the honor system or being wary of its dark twin: the Darwin Award, simply fall apart when there are too many people in too close of quarters.
Eventually someone’s judgment is going to be dubious because even under the most ideal of circumstances, you probably can’t quite keep every last outlier on the Bell Curve from frakking around and finding out.
Now add superpowers into the mix.
So we who exist outside of the narrative need to contend with this: Human fear of the consequences of Mutant powers wielded by the unscrupulous or disordered is rational.
Collective punishment and oppression of Mutants remains cruel and unjust.
Next: The precariousness of passing and the earned cynicism of those who have known only the wrong end of the boot.

Heyy!! I think your mixed trolls are cute can you tell me a bit more about them, I think Basil seems the most interesting what’s their backstory?
Ahhh! I'm glad you asked, I've been waiting to tell their stories! We'll be focusing on Basil for the most part though since you're interested.
TW: Mention of self-harm and suicidal thoughts
● Basil is the eldest out of the group, there's no arguing about that.
● She is the one to throw in the idea about making a new tribe for trolls that like music that don't really correlate with the original 6.
● If we're going to backstories though..
● They don't have fond memories and rather forget about her past.
● Like I put in her info, she's Clay's twin sibling (hence the green hair).
● And during their time with the brother's as Brozone, she was the music director/producer.
● And also during this time, she had a lot of responsibility. Maybe to much for a teenager.
● Not only did she have to worry about making the music sound 'perfect' for JD, she also had to worry about taking care of Branch (since he recently hatched) and Thalia (who was recently dropped off at the doorstep of Grandma's house and was promptly named Thorn for.. reasons), taking care of the schedule, and making sure that they had basic living essentials.
● Basically more of an assistant and mother then a sister.
● She was closest to Bruce and Floyd when they were still together. Her and Bruce were the bands parents while Floyd was the only one -excluding Branch- that really treated her like a sister.
● Clay saw her as a BFF for the most part, but they still had their twin squabbles from time to time (I say he's older by 10 minutes).
● JD was the one to treat her the worst. Constant orders and requests for them to do this and pick up that. "Hey Bas, can you get this for me?" "Make sure it sounds perfect for when we release it."
● He was always up her ass about every little thing and payed the least amount of attention to her then with the others.
● This caused her to be drowning in pressure and responsibility's. She had so many panic attacks, it got to the point she started thinking of cutting themselves and just ending everything.
● She later found a comfort in playing guitar, a thing a troll named Robin introduced her to.
● They would come up different song ideas of her own when she had the time, all of their own style (later identified as Indie rock).
● When the day came of the first show of the tour, she hid her guitar in one of the closets for afterwards. She helped comfort baby Branch with Floyd. She stayed in the back to whole time cause of her job.
● She saw everything; Harmony about to happen, the loss of it, chaos of the the 4 brothers being tied in the air, and stop of the show. She chuckled, I'll admit it. They saw it as a indirect revenge on JD.
● The argument in this world was worse then how it was in the show just because of the addition of her. She had the most to say. She screamed and cried in JD's face of the pain he was causing the sibings, the pain he was causing to them.
● Did he care? In a way, yes. He was taken aback by her outburst. Though he still left, so did Bruce and Clay. Floyd went to talk to Branch, but Basil never moved. She just sat there crying her eyes out.
● The nightmare was finally over, and she couldn't help but let out all of her pain. Floyd suggested they stay with Branch and Grandma so she can relax for a while. He left a bit after putting them to bed while Branch and Gram's played some cards.
● She stayed with them for 2 years before she saw Robin again with some new friends. They stayed over a few times and ended up bonding over how each one of them have a taste for a new type of music style.
●Basil, now inspired by this fact, decided to make a plan. A plan to meet more trolls lile them, bring thrm along to a new place where everyone can live together.
● It was settled. 2 weeks pass before they set out. Gram's and Branch have been encouraging her to go out (with a newly hatched 'Thorn') and see the world. What it had to offer them. A better reason to leave then a fight with family that hasn't been back (well, besides Floyd's reason of leaving).
● The group visited each Tribe to show off their origins; Pop, Rock, Funk, Country, Classical, and Techno. They got more people to come with them, big enough that it already looled like a tribe on its own.
● Sailing the sea for weeks took time, but they found a new continent, inhabited only by plants and the creatures that lived in it's environment.
● The group lived there for the next 18 years. Basil and her besties (practically siblings) were blessed with new forms and their own strings. The people who loved a certain music from the 9 leaders were also turned to that form of troll to.
Thats kinda all to. I do have a whole story for this, but it'll be a while before it actually happens. So for now I'll just post some pics of the girls and answer any questions!

So, for the Dokukieran fight, here’s my take on it:
Phase 1: You first take on the buffed up loyal 3 in a triple battle. They now have a move that they normally can’t learn. Okidogi has Stone Edge, Munkidori has Water Pulse and Fezandipiti has Fiery Dance. Halfway through the match, they terrastalise.
Phase 2: You take on the Toxic Chained team of Dokukieran. He terrastalises any Pokemon as his last.
Phase 3: Sends out Ogerpon as a 7th member that he stole from the twins from an earlier time. They battle is similar to the original fight against Ogerpon.
Phase 4: you fight Dokukieran for real as a noble fight.
Surprise Phase 5: thinking that you have won, Dokukieran showed that he was just getting started, he showed signs of being terrastalised but he’s not. Meanwhile, other Pokémon try to attack you.
HMMMMMMMMMMM
Ok my thoughts and ideas:
1. The triple battle against the Loyal 3 is actually pretty nice and I like how their new moves correlate to the mask they stole ( I have a hc that the some of the masks' powers transferred over to the Loyal 3 so that was fun to see) Also them Terastilizing is nice (even cooler if they have differences in them like the masks do)
2. Phase 2 is fine. Although I'd change it so that he Terastilizes Hydrapple. Also thanks to @shinysmolivgarden for the help with the team :D
3. I might scrap the whole Ogerpon phase, mostly because if this was in a game I feel like people should be able to use her against Doku. For the funny bit
4. Phase 4 is fine. No complaints.
5. Might scrap phase 5 as well.
Also I may be doing a whole project based on the fight concept. I may not be able to code but I can animate.

RIVERDALE GAY GENE & GENEALOGY
I've traced out the various gay genes of the main Riverdale characters (I only picked characters with significant family trees, hence no Kevin or Toni). There are between 2-4 distinct gay gene variants. I also note the correlations between the gay gene and violence. This chart is only accurate to the history of Riverdale as it exists post-Jughead paradox and pre-Comet. Also I didn't look up anything on like, a wiki, so please excuse any mistakes in generation orders. (Specifically in the Blossom tree, I couldn't remember exactly where Nana Rose and the Cooper split went so I just guessed based on when-ish they would have happened.) I don't mention it in the essay because it wasn't relevant, but I do think that Grandpappy Cooper took his wife's last name after the Blossom schism, which is why there's a Cooper ancestor that looks like Betty pre-schism. This essay hinges on the theory of the town of Riverdale being a sentient thing built upon genre fiction tropes, idealized Americana, and an almighty narrative that can influence the people living within it. The town rewards those who ;play their part and punishes those who stray. In regards to the gay gene, the town sees being gay as subversive and therefore responds with violence, but also uses these "misbehaving" characters to fulfill antagonistic roles within whatever story it happens to be telling. I don't go into it in the essay, but I don't think Kevin has the gay gene, I think he was simply cast by the town into the role of Gay Best Friend.
Essay in picture below:
Unlike in our world, for the sentient town of Riverdale and its denizens, homosexuality is an inherited trait. The above chart shows the family trees of five of the main characters (Jughead, Cheryl, Betty, Archie, and Veronica) and traces the "gay gene" through the generations. These trees are based on a post-Jughead paradox reality in which the Rivervale events about Poppy Blossom, Bitsy Jones, and to a lesser extent, Abigail Blossom, are canonical to the prime Riverdale universe (pre-Comet).
The most documented gene variant is the Blossom variant, first expressed in Abigail Blossom c. 1890's. Supernatural abilities may be a co-expressive trait to the Blossom variant. It seems to only express in the female twin, but clearly the male twin can carry and pass it on. When both twins are male, the gene seems to express itself with only violence, not homosexual behavior (see Blossom/Cooper split in gen 5 and in gen 2 with Clifford and his brother. Penelope Blossom's gay expression (repressed, primarily expressed in violence) is noted here as a separate gene, but as she is an adopted Blossom, it is possible her gay gene IS a Blossom variant because Riverdale (the town) cast her as a Blossom female child, therefore opening her to inherit the Blossom gay gene via adoption. This is only notable as Nana Rose is also a Blossom by marriage, but since she was the same generation as Poppy Blossom, the town did not need another female Blossom to cast as an antagonist.
The relationship between the gay gene and violence shows how the town, which idealizes a hetero-patriarchal hegemony, casts subversive (i.e. gay) denizens into antagonistic roles. Gay denizens who are able to still fit within the hegemony, be it by repression (Bitsy Jones), leaving Riverdale (Archie's Mom), or by becoming a non-threat (Gay Kevin, in his approved role as Gay Best Friend), are not given the violent/antagonistic treatment. Interestingly, the Jones variant, while starting with a non-violent expression in Bitsy Jones, expresses in Charles violently.
Charles is both a carrier of the gay gene (Jones var.) and the "Serial Killer" gene, which he inherited from Alice Cooper (nee Smith). Betty Cooper also inherited the SK genes from Alice, but has an inherited gay gene (Blossom var.) through her father Hal Cooper. So far, Betty's gay gene has not fully expressed beyond subtext and sexual curiosity with Agent Drake.
It is possible that only one of each variant can express within any given generation, which would explain why carriers like Jughead and Betty have not gone beyond subtext (since Charles and Cheryl express their respective variants). If this is true, there is no reason why Archie could not express his variant at anytime.
Veronica is the only main character with no traceable gay gene. I hypothesize that this is because the Lodge family has not been in Riverdale consistently enough to evolve a gay gene expression. Rather, as the "outsider" Veronica can be textually or subtextually gay without a gay gene. Since Archie's mom is the only expression of her variant, and that she only came out after leaving Riverdale for an extended period, it is possible her variant is not a gay gene but an "outsider" expression. This is supported by Archie's lack of textual expression, despite the above stated 'availability' of the gene. "Outsider" expressions are more akin to the LGBT people of our reality, which is to say, not a literal gene.

QUICKIE - 1: The Moon Embracing The Sun
LOVE AGAIN - by Daniel Caesar, Brandy  [CASE STUDY 01]
[Music is a very big part of my life and I’m MOSTLY INCAPABLE of writing without music, so I just thought I'd share what I am listening to while writing this]
–🐺–🐺–🐺–
Constantly, I hope everyone is doing great and I’m guessing we are all very excited about tomorrow! I’m perhaps overly excited and all I need to do at this point is try and get some sleep, like for real, but I feel like I’m a kid again and it's Xmas Eve’s Night where even tho I ain’t tryna catch Santa, I’m too hyped to sleep 🙃 … ANYWAYS, As the name of this series suggests, this is not going to be anything excessively long, but rather just a quick observation regarding some cute/lucky/noticeable occurrence I might have noticed or that might have happened in correlation to Jikook.
Tumblr media
Today I’d like to talk about a “little” K-Drama called The Moon Embracing The Sun, which is from 2012, like, a good 10 years ago, but good stuff, good stuff! I literally just finished watching and it took me two weeks because I was trying to make it last (and it is a good 20 episodes). As you might already have deduced, the fact that it talked about The Moon and The Sun made me think of Jikook and straight away my brain started braining as I began to better understand a very distinct difference between how The West and The East perceive the relationship between the Moon and the Sun (myself being born and brought up in The West).
First of all, I was quite intrigued to find out that the drama was a love story between the Sun and the Moon, since (as some might have gathered by now) with me being really big on mythology (greek/roman in particular), I’ve always had a hard time thinking of the Sun and the Moon as anything other than twins, which is what Apollo (eventually god of the Sun) and Artemis (eventually goddess of the moon) are. In The East it appears that they for the most part star crossed lovers for something the moon did apparently, but lovers nevertheless.
Tumblr media
My second thought was “I wonder if Jikook know about this drama …”. Just because theta re Korean I couldn’t assume that they would have known or watch it, particularly when in 2012 they would have been busy busting their asses tryna get ready to debut (to be precise as Jimin came to BigHit around May 2012 and the series ended in March 2012, perhaps he was busting his has to get into BigHit).
But you know me, with the powers bestowed to me by Google I went snooping around and found out that during RUN BTS 73, the one where JK acted as a director, Taehyung actually reenacted a crucial scene from the drama itself. So if anything, they would have heard about it by then. Following is the episode on weverse:
Now, I don't want to ruin the drama too much for anyone in case you become curious and want to go watch it but the following object (a hairpin) appeared in the series and its explanation made me pause and go “Bro … Too soon 😬?”
Tumblr media
Character receiving the hairpin asks: “What … is it?”
Character giving the hairpin replies: “The moon embracing the sun. The King is the sun and the queen is the moon. This hairpin … is adorned with the white moon embracing the scarlet sun, so I have named it The moon embracing the sun”
And by that time it was just so romantic the whole idea of the Moon embracing the sun, but then when JM came out with his photo-folio and many jikookers started pairing up this particular photo with one from JK’s photo-folio:
Tumblr media
A White Moon and a Scarlet Sun? … As always, these are just MY observations but I ain't gonna lie, my brain took quite a few double-takes at this particular coincidence, and HEY, be it as it may, just a coincidence, it is one hell of a cute coincidence, right?
Tumblr media
Always respectfully yours and particularly intrigued,
Marengo.

first things first i conquered my fears again and went back to the dark bramble, thanks to the hints of a wonderful amazing cool fren, i found the 3rd escape pod! unscathed this time too!
despite the nomai leaving a light trail, i still managed to go the wrong way apparently and stumbled into a cave of many, many anglerfish:

managed to eject and make my way towards the red light i initially was aiming for, which was like a bunch of angler eggs or something, but pushed past and went through yet another seed
and hey! made it to the vessel even still!
cool tidbits there, its nice and also sad that its still receiving messages from other vessels
but! that control panel(?) passcode? thingy? i have some theories over what it does or how to mess with it! I don't even know if I can get anything inside the vessel to work anymore but hey worth a thought.
i've started to take notice to the reoccurring shape--hexagon?--and its like the shape of the nomai's antlers I believe, or at least the statues!
if or if not this is actually important, I think it's a neat detail nonetheless, very curious
Tumblr media
anywho! after that i went to the sun station again! and made the cross! again thanks to the hints of wonderful fren :>
i kind of forgot if i had learnt anything about the purpose of the sun station beforehand, so learning that they were purposefully trying to supernova the sun was, something. not sure why, but hey it failed i guess
the mural in the station caught my eye though, the sun and the eye being equal on a scale was hmmm

also I found. multiple. ash twin projection stones today, I really need to figure out what is going on there, but that was another thing that sparked my interest in the hexagons, since they light up behind the glowing heads. also, what's the reason behind only three of the head glowing, if any?
nn then i managed to get into the black hole forge, some neat stuff here n there, mainly warp core things i sort of figured out on my own, still neat tho! forgot if it was here or not, but the ash twin center has a warp pad! wheres the counterpart warp pad so I can get there, I must find!
after that I triieeed again on the quantum moon to get it to the 6th location, no luck though. I am able to get the shrine to the north pole, or at least I think, I shoot my little scout in and let it teleport till I see it at the north on the map and snap a picture, but what I do after that I unno. I think I'm missing something or just not realizing something, but it's definitely not moving to the location in the first place ;-;
still have some theories I can test out for next time though! not losing hope yet. currently thinking I can do something with making everything dark, if possible, but we'll see
I only realized today that the quantum moons land correlates to the planet it orbits, guess I had it at the twins each time before, is there new things on each land?
also only realized today that the moon also shifts the nomai body pose around when you look away, so I may have messed around with that for no good reason
ended it off by telling chert that modern nomai knew the galaxy was dying, so uh, sorry chert
to do: go back to bramble again for stuff I missed, and go the safer way if possible, figure out quantum moon, figure out anything about the ash twin project center, and a little less to my concern but also the lakebed cave on the ember twin
