Jelly-ve it or not, the lion’s mane jellyfish (Cyanea capillata) is one of the world’s longest animals. This jumbo-sized jelly trails a “mane” of more than 800 stinging tentacles that are covered in cells with venom that stun prey, including other jellyfish, small crustaceans, and zooplankton. Just how long is the lion’s mane jellyfish? Well, its tentacles can grow more than 100 feet (30 meters) long! In fact, the longest examples of this species—which inhabit the Arctic Ocean—are even longer than the longest known blue whale. Come see a life-size model of one at the Museum’s Hall of Biodiversity!

Its so so fucked that the tablet was literally made for Ahkmenrah, to bring him back to life, and he spent over 50 years listening to everything around him live while being stuck in his sarcophagus and getting more and more desperate every night while Cecil yelled at him to stop trying to get out because it "wasn't happening any time soon"

I’ve been negative interested in wedding planning but my beloved just suggested we could get married at the zoo.
We did the paperwork part and now just need to plan a public ceremony and gathering and the thought of doing that surrounded by otters is pretty off the charts.

Words are flowing out like endless rain into a paper cup They slither while they pass, they slip away across the universe Pools of sorrow waves of joy are drifting through my opened mind Possessing and caressing me
Song for May: Across the Universe by Laibach
~~~ With how much I've had going on this month I'm surprised I actually managed to get this done. Peace
Soul Eater Pamphlet Flip through. Sorry for the angle shadows. If I have enough energy I will re-record it.
Edit: looks like I forgot to queue this so am manually posting it today. Sorry about that.
hm so i have complained before about "sex/romance is what makes us human", and i've seen a good few "art/literature is what makes us human" refutations lately, but more generally --
i think whenever you say "X is what makes us human!!", for practically any value of X, there will be someone who does not do X, or is incapable of X, who will -- quite justifiably -- interpret "X is what makes us human" as "you are subhuman for not doing X". and i hope that's not what you meant! in which case, please say it more carefully?
