Regulus knows that this isn’t what people have in mind when they tell him he needs to let himself be more vulnerable in his relationship. He knows that what’s been suggested to him is actually expressing emotion, actually letting the less than stellar bits of himself be seen.

It’s just that, he really can’t be bothered to give a fuck about that when he’s naked and on his knees, hands tied up behind his back, eyes covered with a silk blindfold.

Honestly, it’s about as fucking vulnerable as it gets, physically speaking. 

He never knows which way James is going to take things. Whether James is going to drive him to the edge and pull him back from it repeatedly. His knees already ache where they’re pressed into the hardwood so he shifts his weight, trying to get some blood flow back. He breathes carefully through his nose, trying to stay calm even as his heart races in his chest. Flexing his hands, he tests the binds around his wrists, feels the delicious sting along the soft skin.

A hand trailing down his jaw startles him enough to jolt. He hadn’t even heard James approach from his left. James breathes out an airy chuckle and grips his chin, knocks his head around a little before abruptly pushing his thumb into Regulus’ mouth. Regulus sucks tightly around it immediately.

“Filthy little thing, aren’t you?” James murmurs above him, voice gravelly.

Regulus nods, humming when James presses down on his tongue, forcing his mouth open. James slides his thumb out, tugging downward with the drag of his thumbnail at Regulus’ bottom lip. Then his hand is gone entirely, Regulus mourning the loss as he listens closely to the couple steps James takes around him.

“Need something in your mouth tonight, is that it?” He’s in front of him now, and Regulus knows what that means.

“Yes,” He sighs.

James tuts at him, a borderline patronizing sound. “That’s not how you ask for something, love.”

Regulus’ tongue darts over his lips, breathing in unevenly. For two seconds he thinks to be a brat about it, just to see what happens. Just to know what James might do this time. But he’s also so fucking keyed up, he’s not sure he can take it right now.

“Please, baby, will you let me suck you off?”

“Oh, is that all?” It’s a taunt more than anything and Regulus shivers at the low timbre, the vague sense of dangerous implication.

“Please,” He repeats, whispering this time, hands clenching into fists behind his back.
