I LOVE dark fantasy, (vamp/creepy gods) deep political drama and families and the steampunk vibe on it. The cherry on the top ! I'm probably more of a Edwardian era girly that Victorian era girly but love both of them.

For your story, its a nice start for the differences in social hierarchy, it's a classic. I am not familiar of Brandon Sanderson's (did I write the name right?) Books because they're not really well translated in my language, in my opinion. But I can help with some refs if you want !

For exemple, if you are new in writing this type of worlds, I would recommend "soft worbuilding and big on vibes". With visuals (anime) : Violet Evergarden, Howl's Moving Castle. Both are fantasy soft steampunk-y. You can see on the concept art, props, machinery that are not too complicated to make and design. Jules Verne's works/drawings are a basic for the steampunk theme! Of course.

Then If you want something more deeper for the construction of society, Arcane (the show) is a very good dichotomy of rich and poor. If you want to have nice victorian clothes searching, you have the manga EMMA from Kaoru Mori (beautiful drawings!)

I know steampunk fantasy books but I don't know if they are translate in foreign languages ??

Also yes I have started my own AU before I know your art. Just "how would I have written Hazbin Hotel ?" I did a full redesign of mostly all the characters, have OCs and deeper lore on Eve/Roo/Lilith part of the story and a ALL deeper lore on Alastor, Alastor's backstory. Its the focus of it.

Its very demonical hierarchy, bureaucratic kind of vibe ? Like :

Character : "I will postponed my duel. We need that information... and this file?" Other character : "Let me call this president... yes. I need a new weapon for... what do you mean half of my legion is fucking dead ?! WHO is training them ?! I need an advocate." (Hell have presidents) Character 3 : "What the hell is the Order of the Flies ? What do you mean Satan had a revolution in mind ? I need a coffee. No. Kill me."

I just think its so funny that demons have a human hierarchy, makings calls and just dying under paperwork. Its chaotic. For exemple, Charlie has brother and sister, one just left Hell to chill in Earth, the other is kinda married to her uncle ? Its just wild. But demons !

I paused it to write fully Arencha Amendable! At the beginning, It was HARD for me to remember that your prince of Hell (Constantine) for exemple, is not my prince of Hell (In my AU) or the fact Alastor as a daughter too in my AU who is NOT like Serenity at all ahah. So I really work on knowing your SS AU to be great at it !

First of all, I read it up to date and I liked all the chapters you posted. The activities to unite the team were really well thought out, Sir Pentious warming up to the team. Trust activity after he arrived

In general, the activity held among the hotel residents was really great, everything was thought out in detail, I really loved it!It was really nice to have the team interact with each other or to read Lolicia's reactions to some events. Alastor's dialogues are also really fun to read.

In the short stories, the vee's stories were really nice, reading all of them was both fun and I think it gave the reader a different perspective, it was a really smart decision and in those short stories...introduced OCs caught my attention, I'm already curious if we'll see them again in the future!

sorry to be nosy, but do u have any insights as someone who went through a divorce at a young age?

don't be sorry - what a fascinating question! it's STORYTIME. i don't know if this is so much my 'insights' as it is ruminations, but i digress.

i guess my number one tip would be: don't marry a bigot,,,

i'm kidding. mostly.

i'm very transparent about why i got divorced (if you know me in real life, you know how true this is), but that's what it boiled down to. i got married VERY young, 95% due to deeply religious family on both sides, 5% because i truly believed i had found the person i was going to be with forever. if you're going to be together forever, why not just bite the bullet and get married young, right?

i came out to my ex-husband as bisexual super early on in our relationship (i think 2 months into dating) because i obviously needed him to a) know i was queer and b) be cool about it, and he was. if i recall, he said, "oh. ok, good for you."

(later, he told me that that moment was almost a dealbreaker for him. i NEVER would have known, based on how he reacted in the moment.)

as a married couple, we were awesome roommates and very good friends and overall a wonderful team. then i started properly deconstructing christianity around the same time i started thinking about gender, and covid hit immediately after. i didn't come out to anyone as nonbinary until march 2021, and when i did, he was the first person i talked to. he was... significantly less cool about it than he was with bisexuality.

here's the thing. he LOVED having a wife. in hindsight, it's really easy to see that i could have been anyone, and he was really ready to settle down. i have to give myself some credit, because i think i'm excellent, but i do think that to some extent i was in the right place at the right time and checked off a lot of his boxes. if that sounds a little cold to you -- a SHOCKING amount of cishet men do this. it's weird.

anyway, i was His Wife™, and while i was by no means a traditional christian wife, i was still a very she/her slay queen girly.

then i started committing sins. (got some tattoos. started writing about The Gays. started speaking out against the church. Cut My Hair Short [cue gasps]. started dressing more androgynously.)

he couldn't get his head around using gender neutral language for me. to his students (he was in education at the time) i was His Wife. to his family, i was His Wife, even after i came out to them too. classic wifeguy stuff.

my current partner (who is SO wonderful) was in the process of becoming that best friend you have really confusing gay feelings about, and had to deal with me talking about this and how i was just going to have to settle for being with this guy who wouldn't respect my gender, even when that disrespect started actually making my skin crawl when he'd get close. because hey, marriage is for life. it didn't even occur to me that we might get divorced until about 4 days before The Conversation. i was genuinely ready to stick it out with this guy who refused to really See me, because i thought that was what i had to do.

then came The Conversation. i'd been invited to be a bridesmaid in his sister's wedding and had agreed to wear a dress, because hey, it's her wedding. if she wants bridesmaids in dresses, sure. (i was still very much reeling from my own wedding, but that's another story i'll tell if anyone's curious.)

anyway. dresses. i go to a fitting. i stand there numbly while wearing the most godawful dress i'd ever seen, feeling like Garbage. i go home. i step in the door, i burst into tears. sobbing, on the couch, i tell him that something's not right. i can't wear a dress to this wedding.

i think that was when he realized i wasn't going to grow out of being nonbinary. we had a really long, brutal conversation, mostly about how i was probably going to want top surgery one day, that ultimately resulted in him ending our marriage.

"i can't make you be somebody you're not," he told me. "but you can't make me attracted to you."

that's right, folks! the thing that ended my marriage was my tits.

we'd sat through and endured many conversations in which i shared my feelings about the church, about christianity, about the patriarchy, about gender as a whole, but in the end, the thing he could not get his head around was a version of me that didn't have a chest.

i won't lie, that shit stung. the constant rejection of my gender expression had sort of eroded any romantic love i felt for him at that point, but he'd been my closest confidant for so long by that point that i really had to work through some shit about worthiness in the weeks after. it was just surreal to me that me With tits was good and worth being married to, but a hypothetical version of me with a flat chest was so repulsive that he'd rather end a marriage than endure it.

and like, i get being a boob guy (trust me), but damn.

p.s. some really interesting notes: he waited to have this conversation with me until literally the week after i received the first 5-figure portion of my book deal advance, which meant when we were settling affairs, it counted as "marital income" and he got half, and then he hired lawyers behind my back after we said we wouldn't do that.

in hindsight? maybe it was never about the tits at all. ;)

Ah, Pringles. Of course. What a guy. He is very shaped. (Especially the hair and collar. I happen to be a sucker for male characters with that kinda "cat fluff" hairstyle.) Love the weird little cuff on his tail, it's so unnecessary but it fits. Dapper boy. Gotta love him

(As far as I can recall he gets bitches in Ozzie's, which, like, good for him!)

There's this kiddo from Loo Loo Land. I like her shapes as well, very exaggerated. As depicted here she kind of reminds me of some concept art girlies from the Art of Encanto book.

Ahh... this guy. Or gal, actually. Turns out this is Skye Henwood's impsona, as well as my favorite character in Western Energy. Me and my friend were deadass ready to adopt her on sight. So tiny!! So shaped!! Look at that ridiculously huge bowtie. The littol suit. I want a pocket-sized imp now. Would carry them everywhere in my purse. Speaking of...

That's exactly what she did! Another crewsona (Sam Miller), and this design is incredibly slay. The feathers. The tail. Big, flowy, swooping shapes. (Not a big fan of the hands, though.) Very majestic creature overall.

Moving on to a few background Wrathians from Harvest Moon. She's a cutie. Not much else to be said. I like her outfit with the little boots and gloves as well as her pigtails.

I think these two could be related.

She looks so silly, I love her. Her hat and horns are disproportionately huge and it's precious.

Her name is Square, and she has major resting bitch face energy. I appreciate her instantly. (Long sleeved shirt + short shorts is a good combo.)

This guy from the Ozzie's elevator scene (Aspen) looks like he'd have quite the story to tell over a couple drinks of hard liquor. Slutty, but in a tired way. (A certain saxophonist cat from another piece of online media also fits that description.)

HER!! I love her so much. Everything about her honestly. The colors!! The legs!! The underbite!! She has no official name, but I call her Pomegranate. Or Pom for short. Got some of my own lore for her and everything.

Haven't watched Queen Bee, so I didn't get to see Dennis in action, but from this still alone I conclude that he's pretty cute. (However dude could use to pull up his pants.) Didn't really deserve to get yelled at, anyhow. Justice for Dennis!

Though I do have an old Dennis character, and he's a dick, so maybe Blitzo was on to something.

I like the girlie on the right too. Women with :3 smiles automatically win me over. The ripped pants and loose tank top go well together, and the splotch of magenta on the waist isn't obnoxious.

Mamma Mia, an imp with not purely and overwhelmingly red skin? What a spectacle. She looks way more like a black character than Velvette. And due to her subdued skin tone, the pink looks nice on her. (Which can't be said for Millie in one of the pieces of summer merch. Who thought pink on her was a good idea?!) Cool hair texture as well, feels very poofy.

Some bite-sized imp clowns from The Circus; their names are Eenie, Meenie, and Miney. How charming! Though, as I recall, doesn't that old children's rhyme go on to have four-

I think this might be Barbie Wire. We were never told explicitly, and she isn't even mentioned in the episode itself, but she looks closest to that design.

(Though I just noticed her horn stripes are too thick. Nevermind, then. Seems like she didn't even get that brief cameo in Blitzo's nearly episode-long childhood flashback despite being his twin sister, which should suggest that they were pretty close.)

I like this chick, though.

in my dream I was going to go camping with my sister & dad & one other guy. my dad was being a little weird & sleeping in the car. we were in a cloudy area by the sea, but there was a big forest nearby so we were going to hike in there. when we got there it was getting dark & there was a ? chasing us, but there was some band of dwarves behind us that could teleport. they got to a safe house that was my mom's house & I was like ooo let me in..!! and then they did let me in.

and they were actually people & the enemy outside was dwarves temporarily, though in actuality it was more like an evil army led by an insane girl with short hair and huge eyes that glowed . they liked me so I got to hang out with their family inside the house (no longer resembles my mom's house inside). each of them had a special power & I was the person of prophecy who was supposed to take over and secure victory when in 24 days the youngest child predicted father would be killed in battle. I wasn't supposed to know I was special somehow but i had ears that cpuld hear while they were all muttering to each other. there were also little cats inside and one cute orange kitten that looked like a tiger.

bit of a scene shift . i was now some dude & my sister who didn't make it in got picked up y other people who lived in these woods. it was like a group of thrill-seeking very fashion-conscious teen girls. they were generally thriving & they liked my sister (different from my actual sister btw) & they got their fix from killing army mrmbers & selling stuff to the shopkeeper, who was a shadowy figure with glowing red eyes and a huge sack. the shopkeeper hated adult women but was sweet on kids but he also never spoke and kind of reacted like an animal. they put on their makeup in order to trick him - make him think they were oldr and use that moment of surorise to attack and kill him to get all his stuff. after he died he'd show up again on the next cycle. anyway this didn't work & thr girlies got wiped. the sister ended up chickening out and giving a polite smile rather than the slay girlie look she was supposed to and the shopkeeper politely smiled back and then went to finish beating up the girlies. and meanwhile the woman with lamp eyes saw a glow off in the distance where their fated battle would commence! or something like that.

second dream it was some kind of graduation ceremony for smth id participated in. it was in a horribly constructed ampitheater. i was in the back left corner just trying to get through it when this girl E I hadn't seen since highschool was there & we were kind of talking a bit? i don't remember about what.

then cut to another "trying to get out of the grovery store" dream. a lot happened here but I don't remember since I like moved in my sleep & then kicked the wall and my toes were like ouch

1. Are you named after anyone?: yeah, my middle name is my moms middle name and my grandmas and my great grandmas and i think one of my aunts… 😒 (i hate it because it’s basic 😭)

2. When was the last time you cried?: last week…. i hit a fucking coyote on the highway and started crying. i’m horrible i know ✋🏻 no need to tell me. i even tried to dodge it and was tbh probs close to hitting the car in the lane next to mine. i’ve just come to the conclusion i suck at driving.

3. Do you have kids?: no 😭 but i better have some. and it better be with a hot, tall man who can actually tan because i don’t want my children being cursed with my poor genetics of being short and pale as a ghost to where the sun literally reflects off my skin 😭 it’s horrible. i hate it. it’s unfair. and before anyone says “use tanning lotion” babe it doesn’t fucking work on me. i got those strong scottish/celtic genes.

12. How tall are you?: 5’4 1/2 but i leave off the half. i’m the shortest in my family and get teased by it all the time 😌 that’s okay though. i need a tall man to reach the higher shelves anyways.

13. Fave subject in school?: math because i was in advanced math in high school and never tried but was getting C’s and some B’s. i think it just came naturally to me.

14. Dream job?: zoologist or marine biologist. that’s what i planned on doing until i dropped out of community college and then decided to go back but then dropped out again 💀 i cant make this shit up bro. all in under 2 1/2 years #slay

Book review: King of Ruins

I just finished this book and first of all, let me say that this book hurt me. It hurt me to my soul. I rarely read books that involved war exactly because I know how much the casualty and the suffering the characters would go through would pain me but something drew me to this book so I read it anyway. I don't know whether I regret that or not because my heart still hurts 😭

The ending when Jarael, Atalia and Koren get caught just break me because i just want them to be safe. If they're not safe at least I would rather them die rather than to suffer under that bastard prince. I'm playing for them to be fine in book two. Please be fine they're my babies 😭

I'm gonna rate the characters:

1) Jarael Sela, the father and the leader and DILF = 10000000000/10

Jarael, the man you are. He's literally the best father anyone could even hope for. This man love his children so much. He love and adore his wife, he love his kingdom and the people in it. He suffered before and he's so strong and tired but trying his best and I love him. The ending for him... My heart ache, I'm telling you. He deserve SO MUCH MORE. 😭😭

2) Shiloh Sela. Mother, wife, leader and MILF = 1000000/10

Words can't describe how strong this woman is after what she's been through. She's a great mother and a fierce woman and I have mad respect for her. ♥️♥️ I'm so worry about her in the next book though. How much pain would she feel when she knew what was happening to her husband and children????? 😭😭

3) Epher Sela (my husband) = 💯/10

He has a severe oldest brother syndrome but in a good way because he's protective of his siblings and family, because he is wise and strong and feels so much responsibility on those big fine shoulders. He is definitely his father's son.

4) Koren Sela (I'm such a whore for him) = 💯💯/10

The second son with an impeccable sense of humour and charm, I will always love you. With all seriousness though, Koren uses humour as his coping mechanism (but he's genuinely so funny, every word that comes out of his mouth is gold). I was praying the whole time he went to the war: LORD. LET. MY. HUSBAND. COME. HOME. SAFE. My prayer was not answered.

5) Atalia Sela (I want her to step on me 🛐) = 10/10

I was icky with her first because the whole "she was one of the boys" irked me in general, but my baby bloomed. She slayed and served so hard and I want to give her the biggest hug ever. She can talk and act all macho and tough as she wants but I know what you are, Atalia! She was just a scared little girl in the end who faced war for the first time, who sought comfort from her father and cried at the first man she was forced to kill. But no matter how terrified she was, she would die fighting for her family and kingdom. Truly a lioness.

6) Ofeer Sela (bitch in denial) = 0/10

Since the first time we met her I already want to bash her head against a damn wall. GIRL 👏🏻YOU 👏🏻ARE👏🏻 SO 👏🏻BLIND👏🏻 AND👏🏻 UNGRATEFUL👏🏻. I understand if she doesn't feel like she belongs in her family or felt like her father doesn't love her as much as he loves the others since she was a bastard but why is girly hating on her family so much???? Her mother and father who literally do nothing but love her?? And not shy to show it??? Her siblings whose never act as if she was anything but family??? Even if her siblings did bully her a little (but literally it was all siblings teasing, like messing with her hair) it was because they reacted with the way YOU treated THEM. You called your youngest sister a weepy bitch because she was upset about her dying dog and basically hoped that she'd die 💀💀.

She is her family's biggest hater for no reason at all. She was so desperate to have a nice life that she abandoned her family and wished the worst on them and when that actually happened she suddenly grew a conscience.

It was nice to see that she actually cared about her family but by that time it was too late. I can see her redemption arc but it needs to be big for me to actually like her after everything.

7) Maya Sela (sweet summer child) = 7/10

The baby of the family. We don't see much of her in this book because she's too young and doesn't play much role in this war. But I can see the potential of her growing into a more important role in the following books especially since she has a strong ability that may be their salvation. She just needs to learn to control them. But personality wise she's really a sweet innocent girl and I can feel her youth through the pages.

Can I just say I love the Sela family so much. Their dynamic and love for each other is so precious please let them be fine. They need to be a family again after this and see each other and tease each other and just BE HAPPY AGAIN. 😭😭

Fem Trans Dipper AU

So I originally planning to do this same idea by doing animation for my hoe friend but of course I can't animate properly and it's not a good program for me personally

So like a month later I just decided to draw it instead since that's what I'm best at and I didn't want to completely give up on the idea

And normally when you think of Trans AU/Headcanon It's normally F - M (Female to Male) for Dipper so I kept it as an option but like..

Everyone dose it

so I wanted to be original and do M - F (my friend helped me pick which one mostly)

And no I don't hate the whole trans theory just because I debunked it I just hate that it's a theory with the low evidence it haves I'd just keep it as a AU or a headcanon just for fun but hey that's just my opinion

But anyway let's not being that into this

And explain the drawing and whole background of it

I'm not a known or professional short story writer on here or anywhere so don't expect any perfection from me. 😅

So this is like Male Dipper transitioning into female basically Mabel was the first she told because they have a twin trust that no one can break Mabel was very happy and proud her for coming out but it was time to tell the stans she was very nervous and had no idea how to bring up that she's female stuck in a male's body so being the great sister Mabel is she made Dipper his own personal sweater with a Transgender flag on it gave him one of her purple skirts and encouraged him to go downstairs and let the Stans see her then come out Dipper was sweating like crazy but kept his confidence up still looking adorable though,and luckily and of course the Stans were very supportive of her and started using She/Her pronounons. Even later in the day Ford was talking and Dipper and Mabel stumbled into what he was talking about saying "My nieces" Dipper managed to hear since he was in the room next door and came and cried,He later came out to Wendy,Soos, they're parents and such they felt the same as the Stans and of course many people weren't happy and said not so good things about her transition but she didnt let them get to her and continue to push through her journey,soon buying feminine clothes,getting excited and happy about hormone pills for the first time,getting the big surgery,and getting off shoulder sweaters just to show off that she finally got a bra,and such.

Dipper is still the nervous reck,awkward,adventurous,Ford fangirl that she always was.

She dosent fully prefer being a girly girl exactly but she'll wear something girly if she just wanted to that day or mostly for some special event

A ponytail,shorts/Jeans (Sometimes a skirt),any shirt or sweater that's comfy is her favorite style so nothing gets in the way while she explores or slay or get hurt by any jerks and monsters and a human dorito

But yeah I decided to keep some of Dipper's clothing pallete

I'm suppppper happy on how it turned out pretty much everything even Ford because I normally draw him terrible

Noctluna Family AU

hello, me and my bff @lolapinta are huge Noctluna shippers, and have exchanged headcanons here and there.  x

we’ve posted a few on our own blogs from time to time. lola is working on the character designs but she’s still working on her school finals so it could be a while before she can really work on them. so i’ll introduce them first with their character porfiles we came up with then lola with her part.

we have a few AU ideas and will go back and forth on them, but in our main AU, Noctis and Luna did die to save the world but were brought back to life by the astrals for their sacrifice (we’re still working out the details). Since the world no longer needs a king of light or an oracle, they no longer have their powers when brought back (no summoning weapons or astrals, the ring is gone, and no healing) we’re also working on an alternate timeline AU based on the time stitch theory, (check out final fantasy peasant for details of the fan theory) so we’re working the powers the kids would have in that AU.

anyways this is what we have so far. more on the way.

eldest child/ daughter: Roxana Lucis Caelum (name meaning dawn yeah we joined the bandwagon, so sue us. it fits kay)  Roxana is the spiting image of baby Noctis, if he was a girl. Jet black hair and his shade of blue eyes. also daddy’s little girl, always looking for him to play and distracting him from work. she likes to wonder off a lot, to her parents displeasure. when around strangers she is the quietest and shyest girl in the room, but once she’s warmed up to someone she is a ball of energy. she’s actually really active and loves being outside. you’ll usually find her in tree, daydreaming or picking up animals and bugs and try to keep them as pets( yeah she’s a bug lover and favorite animal is frogs) Out of all the bros, she likes hanging out with her uncle gladdy and prompto the most. always trying sneak attacks on gladio, both excited about camping and gashing over chocobos with Prompto. Iris becomes a role model for her since she’s her former deamon slaying aunt.

middle child/ first son: Trist Lucis Caelum ( his name means blue,so it would be ‘light blue sky’, since we want him to represent midday when the sun is at its highest and brightest, also blue is known is be a calming color) Trist is 3 years younger than Roxana. He’s the male equivalent of Luna, having her eyes, hair, and calm personality. Trist has the heart of a scholar, but not because he likes studying and reading but he’s very curious about the world and how things work. He asks a lot of questions and a lot of his games are “what would happened if x,y,z“ so his curiosity tends to get him into trouble a lot. His sister Roxana is his partner in crime so with her adventuress spirit and his curious mind they get into the wackiest shenanigan. Trist likes people but being a kid, he’s honest to the point of blunt. so when Luna was pregnant with baby # 3, Trist didn’t think twice asking anyone with a bit of a belly, man or woman, if they had a baby in there too. Out of the bro, Ignis can put up with Trist questions the most. He’s humbled to help shape a young curious mind and happily shares his knowledge with him but even Ignis has his limits. Trist also Prompto’s # 1 fan of his photography, always looking forward to the uncle Prompto’s photos of his latest trip. While Talcott and Trist are both history buffs.

youngest child/ 2nd daughter: Clara Lucis Caelum ( we were gonna name her Stella in honor of the lost fleuret but it just didn’t feel right. but we wanted her name to mean “bright”, as in “bright light in the sky”, like a star. As we were narrowing down names I found out that apparently Clara is the feminine form for Clarus. In honor of Gladio’s dad.)  Clara is 4 years younger than Trist, and in most of our headcanons, Luna is still pregnant with her or she’s still an infant, so not much can be said about her yet. But Clara is a mix of both Noctis and Luna, she has her mother’s face but Noctis’ jet black hair and eye color. When Clara is older, she is no doubt a princess. She’s very girly and acts like a lady. she’ll be a social butterfly and definitely be the bell of the ball when she’s grown up. But don’t let her pretty dresses and prefect hair & nails fool you, so if you mess with her or her family she’ll destroy you Mean Girls style. Like her mother she has a strong will and is stubborn like her father.
