It is officially Asexual Awareness Week, so it's time to bring up one of my favourite facts that not a lot of people seem to know about.

Did you know the first appearance of aplatonic was from an asexual person? "Aplatonic" was first coined on the AVEN forums by an alloromantic asexual man in 2012. He was using it to describe the experience of only loving his friends that he would later go on to date/develop romantic feelings for. While the term was independantly coined on Tumblr a few years later, and is often associated with aromanticism, our history is linked with asexual history, and our doors have always been open to aplatonics of all kinds.

It's the people who refused to fight by the banner of Piltover but was still willing to fight for Zuan, and by the side of them, just not to be assimilated. It's Ekko being a soldier. It's Zuan joining together under a uniform that it's proper for them.

I'm late, but shoutout to loveless aces, aplatonic aces [especially aplatonic alloaces], heartless aces, afamilial aces, and any asexual that doesn't love conventionally, doesn't feel one of the "universal" loves, or feels excluded by the broader asexual conversation. a lot of discussion on whether the black dog is for this man or that man but honestly i think the most interesting thing here is the idea that it would be the name for the actual pub

and that taylor "ruined" someone's local pub (namely joe's, don't want to assume song muses but stick w me for a moment)

BECAUSE... the specific pub that people have located has gone online to actually comment on the situation, and have stated that they have a certain blond regular. which apparently A LOT of people (ok tiktok ig) took as 100% confirmation that this is

1) joe's song

2) joe's local

as if the staff and owners wouldn't see the attention their place is getting online already without them stirring the pot. they were getting amazing exposure even before this comment and this should really switch it up for them like long-term. if you're a dedicated swiftie you're likely to go there just to yknow acknowledge the place

but here's my thinking and that is that typically these establishments frequented by celebrities have some respect towards them (imo), and especially in europe i think? maybe im wrong. if joe really would frequent that place i would hope that the staff/owner would not actually throw it out like that and disturb his peace. (esp bcs i think they imply he would be a regular)

id hope the staff of actual place is would deny any celebrity presence and let the hype die down.

all that to say i think swifties going crazy about the black dog (specifically the place getting hype now) should actually not give it more hype bcs they are either riding this train to get profit (which yeah good for them if they can do it), and are exploiting vagueness to further encourage people to visit (implying joe frequenta). or they're riding the train and have actually served their regular on a platter (for profit) which is icky to me.

An Eagan pregnant out of wedlock what would her decrepit ass father do? Is wedlock an actual thing here or is Christianity some bygone religion that disappeared post reconstruction in America? Pregnancy is clearly big business here (doulas and super rich birthing cabins) so there's no way they don't know. They have to be funneling the undesired children into some type of terrible manager school? Is that where Miss Huang is from? I really need to see their company handbook regarding this.
