I like timebomb like the next fucker around. And I giggle with the "jynx tagged Ekko! He's all spray painted!!"
Tumblr media
But. I haven't seen anyone talking about that it's not just Ekko. Everyone is painted. It's Zuan uniform. It's Zuan organization to go to war. It's Zuan going to help Piltover, but not wearing their uniform. Wearing It's own. It's Jinx and Ekko railing the revolution, it's the revolution not painting their hair blue and wearing Jinx clothes on a straight up imitation, but respecting her view and call to action to unite her force. It's the people who refused to fight by the banner of Piltover but was still willing to fight for Zuan, and by the side of them, just not to be assimilated. It's Ekko being a soldier. It's Zuan joining together under a uniform that it's proper for them.

Vi is gifted kid burnout but in the english major way
#she’s the best characterization I’ve seen of gifted kid burnout outside of super-genius characters#like. as a burnt out gifted kid by legal designation. she is me#trying to succeed at everything because that’s what you’re told to do or what you think needs to be done to be worth anything to anyone#being rigid to change because it’s not being done right but at the same time accepting change so long as people stay with you#and also how that ties in with being an eldest sibling#because ik folks love the whole ‘gifted kid jinx’ thing (not me but ya’ll do you) but ya’ll—#YALL DO NOT UNDERSTAND MY NEED FOR BURNT OUT ACADEMIC VI—#because Vi never got the chance to be a kid and learn and grow and find what she actually enjoyed in the world outside of the last drop crew#but look at her. the way she speaks and the way she tried to teach powder the lessons she earned the hard way in the gentlest way possible#in the way she so desperately clings on to people and memories#my girl would be a WRITER#my girl would be writing poetry drunk in her shitty basement apartment after hooking up with a girl#my girl would be writing novellas in prison and getting her degree#because you know she sees the world like a romantic. her world is art and emotion and devotion. to her family. to anything she cares about#i need more literary! student vi. i need more academic vi. i need more grudging debate-team captain vi#i need vi getting her own place and having an extensive book collection that she develops because of the loneliness#Her gkb is going from a leader & soldier to someone who could be useful regardless to someone who is useless & being okay w/ it ->#to being needed again and not knowing how to handle it but knowing she refuses to fuck it up this time#GIVE ME VI W/ MY GIFTED KID ARCCCCCC#this probs makes no sense and is like 4 tangents but I’ll expand on it later ‘cause im tired#coherency is for losers and the well-rested#vi arcane#arcane#arcane season 2#arcane spoilers#arcane season two#vi

The biggest misunderstanding about Caitlyn from fans actually comes from season 1, not 2. Fans see Caitlyn break Vi out of prison and talk to Ekko about empathy and think that she’s learning and growing as a character and then when season 2 hits they think all that growth was somehow “abandoned” or “reversed.”
But that’s not true.
Caitlyn has ALWAYS been a spoiled little rich girl who came from a family of rich people who are so used to how much power they have in the city that they don’t regard ANYONE’S feelings or respect ANY rules. Both Marcus and Salow spell this out to us.
Marcus: “She’s a Kiramman! Just like them she does what she wants! I can’t control her!”
Salow: “It’s the name! It bewitches people.”
Time skip Caitlyn is introduced investigating the botched Jinx job at the shipping docks. She is not an official detective and Marcus makes it clear she isn’t supposed to be there. She’s supposed to be guarding her family’s pavilion, but she ignored both her mother’s AND the sheriff’s wishes to investigate a crime because she’s bored.
She breaks Vi out of prison AFTER she’s been effectively laid-off by Marcus, using her connections to Jayce to forge her release papers. Reminder: at this point in the story she is technically not a cop anymore. She’s doing all this stuff with noble intentions of trying to uncover Silco and bring Jinx to justice… but what she’s doing is technically illegal. And the only reason she’s able to get away with it is because she’s a spoiled rich BRAT.
Her privilege shields her from repercussions in season 1, just as they do in season 2.
The difference is that she’s now been traumatized by Jinx. Her bodily autonomy was violated by Jinx kidnapping her when she was literally naked in the shower, she was most likely tortured by Jinx, was tied up and painted on, threatened to be executed at gun point by Jinx, and then to top it all off Jinx murders her mother in a terrorist attack.
And Caitlyn tries to hold it all in. She tries to confide with Vi, she tries to let her hatred go… but both times she is denied her the ability to grieve properly. First by her privilege and not understanding that asking Vi to become an Enforcer would be rejected. And then by Ambessa by funding the attack on the memorial service.
She has no parental figure to guide her, her rage and hatred for Jinx is boiling over… so she resorts to what she always does and what she did back in season 1. She just does what she wants to get her way. She convinces Jayce to develop hextech weapons, she assumes the role of leader for house Kiramman, and she uses her unique position in power to bend systems her family put in place to protect Zaun against them.
Caitlyn in season 2 is very much the same Caitlyn we’ve always known from season 1. The difference is that in season 1 we were rooting for her because we like Vi. She exhausted the same disrespect for authority and people back then but they were in service of things we, the audience, liked. So we gave her a pass. We excused her rule breaking. We ignored her unique brand of privilege because we liked what her privilege could unlock for us.
Season 2 slams that door shut and tells us “no, actually, you weren’t supposed to like this because nobody in power is innocent.”
But rather than learn more about Caitlyn and understand her character better… people are dismiss this all as “bad writing” or “character assassination.”
And what’s more frustrating is the whole “dictator arc.” Because frankly I would argue that by that point Caitlyn HAS learned her lesson about privilege and power, but it’s too late to stop things now. Just as Jayce going vigilante in season 1 was the start of a cataclysmic event, Caitlyn gassing Zaun to look for Jinx results in Caitlyn losing everyone she trusts and respects. Broken up with Vi and alone, she is suddenly granted even MORE power than she’s ever had by Ambessa. And you can see it affect her. In that moment she realizes that Ambessa is the one who spearheaded the attack on the memorial. After seeing what happened between her and Vi, she realizes that by taking this role she will be responsible for even greater atrocities.
She has 2 choices. Let it all go, or use the position of power to her advantage. And just like before in season 1… she chooses the later. Her goal may still be to get Jinx, but she does NOT want to be a part of Ambessa’s dictatorship. This is why she’s so reluctant to join even with all the peer pressure. This is why she’s so slow and hesitant to walk forward. And she only accepts the cape she is crowned with once Ambessa says “your mother will have justice.”
What’s most important about this scene is that SHE KNOWS Ambessa is using her. That’s why when we see her in Act 2 she’s already trying to counter Ambessa’s plans. That’s why she’s constantly challenging Ambessa with “why is peace always the excuse for violence?” That’s why when Ambessa says “you don’t trust me?” Caitlyn responds with a resounding “no.” And that’s why when Vi drops back into her life she realizes she has an opportunity to correct her mistakes. She doesn’t switch on a dime because Vi fluttered her eyes and called her “cupcake.” She switches because she was already looking for an out. And this is why when Vi confronts her in Act 3 she screams “I KNOW.”
Caitlyn’s arc is that of someone who always had privilege and power coming to realize too late how dangerous and harmful that power is. By the time she learns her lesson she’s already entrenched with Ambessa and stuck in this hateful miasma for Jinx. Season 1 was setup for what was going to follow with how her character was going to learn and atone for her mistakes.
And what’s so god damn frustrating about all the discourse around Caitlyn is how reductive and dismissive it all is. So much of the discourse completely ignores the actions she takes to fix things in favor of trumping up the actions she took to get there. All of her transgressions in season 1 are ignored and her own internalized growth is reduced to a joke about Vi calling her cupcake. It’s MADDENING.

Has anyone noticed this too? A girl who lost her mother.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
No wonder Caitlyn was so fucking angry at this time, not only was it an attack on the memorial after losing her mother and being kidnapped and tortured etc... but her people died and children lost their mothers, just like this girl. And Cait was definitely feeling her sadness and fear.
Tumblr media
This also reminds me of those people who say Caitlyn changed just bc her mother died, or how can she change just bc of one person's death? Well idiots IT'S NOT LIKE THAT!!
Like “Oh but she’s from Piltover, she gets all the luxuries that ppl of Zaun don’t” burying your mam in a nice casket does not make the pain any easier to deal with assholes!! she went through sm and people still overlooked her trauma as if she shouldn't be sad and angry bc she's an enforcer, rich, and an adult. WHAT STUPIDITY IS THIS? Seriously what does all this have to do with the character not being traumatized? These people should study psychology and educate themselves a little.
Like people forget this all happened to her in the span of less than a week. She went from a peaceful, pretty sheltered life to being terrorised by Jinx with almost no reprieve.
Video edited by: @mirellvi on TikTok
These people are asking and others are angry why Caitlyn has changed, this girl has been through hell bc of Jinx.
Jinx didn't show any mercy to Caitlyn. And Caitlyn has every right to hate her!! People who overlook what Jinx has done to her are so annoying. The change that happened to Caitlyn It did not start when her mother was killed.
She is gets more hate than the actual villains, and she did less harm than any other leader of Piltover or Zaun. People who excuse characters like Viktor, Sevika or Silco and even Ambessa, but they draw the line on Caitlyn?? they just wanna hate her tbh. Like they don’t comment on the bad and worst things that (Silco, Viktor, SINGED) did
Silco flooded the lanes with shimmer, pay the enforcers to 💀 zaunites and kid / nap children to work on his shimmer factories, and he was a perpetrator of his people suffering. All this and people are justifying his actions, well what about Caitlyn!?
And now someone will come with their stupid excuse and say “Silco is oppressed and wanted to free Zaun” Well being oppressed does not justify him oppressing his people too. Like where is the independence you guys are talking about, when he hurt his people to obey him, and force children to work in dangerous factories and pay enforcers to kill anyone who opposes him, why didn't he pay enforcers to work with him for benefit Zaun, if he really cared about people in Zaun!? And of course there is no need to talk about Ambessa and Singed, the most evil characters who did selfish things, and Viktor as well. But People Don't Care🙄
(I love Viktor btw) but what he did was so bad and terrible!! way worse than what or any other character.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
But again people don't care what bad things Viktor did or would do, is it bc he's from Zaun, or bc he's a man? Anything goes... So I really want to know what's wrong with these people who hate Caitlyn so much.
Like it's okay to not like her and not accept her character, but spreading false information about her like “she gassed all of Zaun or that she does dictatorial things” which is absolutely not true. or worse, insulting and cursing people who love Caitlyn and spreading lies about them like they support corrupt regimes or that they are part of the KKK or that they support police brutality in real life bc they love a fictional character. This is so fucking crazy and I sick of it!! Like what makes these people think that I would be act like a fictional character in real life? They really need therapy.
Like they criticizing her bc they feel morally superior bc she's an enforcer and rich?? This is really so ridiculous.

i fear some people aren't ready to face the fact that at some point vi had to let go of her parentified-child role because it would also mean understanding that jinx is an adult who makes her own choices and doesn't need protection the same way she needed back when they were kids. vi says so herself ('why did you come get me? you don't actually need my help, you haven't for a long time').
everyone who expected vi to become some sort of leader for zaun didn't understand that the reason she fought so hard in her youth for her family was because what she truly craved for was safety for herself and her loved ones. it's the whole reason she has that conversation with vander back in episode 2 of season 1.
vi going after jinx when caitlyn opens the cell would only reinforce the idea that vi has to step into the role of caregiver/protector again. vi isn't jinx's mom, she's her sister, and she has her own battle against her internal demons.
in fact, she spirals down very quickly once locked inside the cell, which is later reflected when caitlyn finds her; she's certain she screwed up again and she believes she's lost both jinx and caitlyn, and she knows it happened because vi was being herself, by doing something she wouldn't have done during her act1 self.
her fallout with caitlyn happened because caitlyn couldn't accept who vi truly is, so how can vi expect caitlyn to be okay with what she's done, when that was the reason they grew apart in the first place?
because caitlyn chooses vi, she prioritizes her over her revenge. caitlyn lets go of it because she loves vi for who she is, and not despite it.
jinx and vi love each other unconditionally, even if they don't understand each other entirely ('i didn't get to do much of this with my sister, she was more into hitting things'), so how could anyone outside of her family love vi, while simultaneously understanding her?
vi probably just went through ten different scenarios of how caitlyn is going to reject her for it, for showing who she is, and who she's always been.
and what does caitlyn do in response?
by this point caitlyn doesn't believe vi has forgiven her, so the whole 'you've grown a bit predictable' isn't a pickup line to get in her pants.
this is caitlyn's attempt at cracking a joke.
vi's worries are met with a dumb phrase that's meant to cheer her up, the same way vi did back in episode 1 ('thought for sure you were gonna get yourself killed').
she spiraled down believing she had lost everyone, and caitlyn proves her wrong with an easy smile and a reassurance; 'this is who you are, i know it, watch me be more than okay with it'.
this, for vi, must feel so, so freeing.
this is the one thing she's been craving for her whole life; the feeling of safety. i'm me, and i'm safe to exist that way in here.
she spent her entire childhood fighting to provide that stability for her family because she was given no other choice but to step into that role, she pushed her own needs aside to make sure everyone else was okay. and now, her sister is an adult who has survived without vi's protection, who has accomplished a lot of things without her big sister by her side.
now it's vi's turn to crave safety, it's vi's turn to choose and let someone else make her feel safe and reassured.
vi's not a symbol of zaun, that's what characters like sevika and ekko exist for; neither of them were pressured to step in and take that role, they fight for their city because they chose to and because they want to (and, if i might add, they're very good at it!).
she's just a girl who went through some really fucked up things in life and only ever wished for a little stability.
and she finds that in caitlyn, so she chooses it.

Jinx literally looking like
Tumblr media
People attributing sinister motives to Jinx looking in on Vi, and given she’s lurking around like this, I get it
Tumblr media
But given that this was probably their last interaction
Tumblr media
I wouldn’t exactly be eager to announce my presence either lol
Also, I don’t think we’re appreciating how….shocking this probably is to Jinx. Seeing the person she looked up to her entire life, more than anyone, to such an extent she crafted her entire identity around something that person called her like it was the word of God, be reduced to this
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Jinx probably doesn’t know what to think or how to handle it.

Oh man I have ideas..
Sevika has a home back in Zaun but she has to have an apartment in Piltover because of councilor duties until she fully adjusts to topside and accepts the insistent offers of a manor. Imagine being her wife and just helping her relax after her first day, cuddling and all that whilst adjusting to the fancy apartment bigger than your old house.
Or..
Sevika taking her wife out for a walk in Piltover, admiring more of the garden as the plants grow upon new soil. A talk about the future whilst holding hands.
Or..
Them renewing their vows, having that damn fancy wedding of the dreams.
Toodles!!!
EEEEEEEEK okay lets do some councilor sevika (also isha and jinx are still alive in this story because i said so. she doesn't need to suffer so much to still be an incredible leader. give her her girls!!!)
men and minors dni
you were the first person approached about sevika representing zaun in piltover's new council post-war.
you were a little concerned to find councilwoman shoola and three members of her personal guard on your front stoop-- and for just a moment you had a flash of anxiety that she was here looking for jinx or isha.
"councilwoman. hello." you say, still surprised. you've met the woman a few times before, both of you attending various re-building efforts around the undercity. she holds up a hand.
"please, dear, we've built a bookshelf together, you've seen me at my lowest. you can call me shoola."
"h-how can i help you counc-- shoola?" you ask. she smiles.
"i'm here regarding your wife."
you frown. "...is she in some kind of trouble?" you ask, already mentally planning how to worm sevika out of her trouble. the councilwoman chuckles.
"quite the opposite, actually. i'd like her to join the council... as an ambassador to the free nation of zaun." she says.
you nearly shit yourself at her words-- sevika's life work casually mentioned like it's just a sidenote. "the-- free?" you ask.
she smiles. "while the deaths of the other councilmembers in the war was a horrible loss, there are some issues i could never get my late colleagues to agree on. now, though... i've been given full authority to reorient the power structure of the council to avoid anymore kirraman's taking over-- and i've always been of the belief that zaun should be free."
"and w-what... you want to arrest jinx in exchange for it?" you ask.
shoola chuckles. "no."
"y-you want isha?" you ask. shoola laughs again.
"what could i want with a child? no!"
"so... what do you want?" you ask, your voice shaking as the reality of the situation sinks in.
"i just want your help talking sevika into the job. i know she can be... stubbo--?"
"bullheaded?" you guess as shoola searches for a kind word to describe sevika's stubbornness. she chuckles at your description of your wife and nods.
"here." she hands you a stack of papers. "i've outlined the full responsibilities of the job. as well as the benefits she will receive for serving. please. look it over and talk to her, would you?"
you do.
it's an excellent proposal.
as the undercity figures out how it wants to self govern, piltover will fund zaun's public infrastructure as if it's their own-- meaning that the undercity will, practically overnight, have access to things like clean water. and schools. and welfare. they will provide these services for up to fifteen years as zaun finds it's footing.
the position outlined for sevika in piltover's council is a way to assure piltover doesn't back out of their promises-- that somebody is there to call them out when they try to cut corners in helping the young nation of zaun find it's footing.
and, while your wife might miss the more physical aspects of her old work, you can see her chewing out some stingy old councilors for their greed in your minds eye, and you can't help but smile.
"what're you smilin' about?" sevika asks.
you jump and slam the folder in front of you closed, blinking up at your wife.
she's back from her meeting with ran, scar and jericho. the four of them have grown close in these past few months as they coordinate rebuilding efforts for various neighborhoods across zaun. you have to gulp, trying not to get dizzy with the possibilities of what sevika's job offer means for them as a team. as team zaun.
"h-how was your meeting?" you ask. sevika raises an unimpressed eyebrow at you and you huff. she sinks across the table from you, easily pulling the folder out of your grasp.
"meeting was fine. the elementary school bein' built in firelight's territory is almost ready to open. first school in zaun." she says with a smile. "now, what were you smiling at?"
"i was approached by councilwoman shoola this afternoon."
sevika raises an eyebrow at you. "did you two try to build a chair this time?" she teases. you groan and kick her shin, before tapping the folder in her hands.
"no. i was asked to convince my stubborn-ass, incredibly loyal, strong, beautiful, hard-fucking-headed wife to join the fucking council."
sevika blinks. "what?"
"they want you in the new council. serving as an ambassador. to the free nation of zaun, sevika."
sevika blinks again, and then she rips the file open, her silver eyes flying across the confidential text. "the fr-- the free nation of zaun?" she asks, her eyes flying up to yours to confirm. you grin and nod.
sevika flies out of her seat and crawls across the dining room table to reach you, tears flowing down her cheeks as she kisses you like her life depends on it.
you're there when shoola and sevika finally sit down to discuss the opportunity. shoola's the first piltoverian to not turn her nose up at the messy state of your small home-- she even grins at the sound of jinx and isha bickering from their bedroom. "you two have made a lovely home for yourselves, here." she says, sitting down at the table and jumping a bit when a toy squeaks under her bum. "i can almost see the love leaking out of the wallpaper."
"could be black mold." you whisper. sevika and shoola both sputter surprised laughs.
"sevika. have you considered my proposal?" shoola asks.
sevika sighs and nods. "i have a few conditions before i agree." she says.
this surprises you. as if the prospect of representing a free zaun isn't tempting enough, you saw the salary sevika's being offered. it's the kind of money that could buy you a house big enough that all four of you could have your own bathrooms.
(secretly, though, you hope you live in a tiny house forever. you like tripping over your family-- being within reaching distance at all times.)
"first. i'd like you to assign me the budget to employ three of my trusted confidants as advisors. i can give you their identities if you'd like, but i give you my word that they're good peo--"
"done." shoola cuts sevika off, scribbling a quick note in her journal before looking back up at the pair of you with a smile. "what else?" she asks.
you smile a bit. sevika blinks, then gulps. "jinx and her little friend ekko get a full ride to the university up top. they're incredibly gifted, and with a little proper education they could advance zaun--"
"you don't have to convince me, i remember how the war went. without them, we'd all be dead. i can arrange that."
"i don't want to leave zaun. i can't represent these people if i'm not living here. i'll need a car to get--"
"would you like a personal vehicle or a driver each morning and evening?" shoola asks.
sevika blinks. "a-a driver." she says, a little shocked.
"anything else?" shoola asks.
sevika nods. "o-one last thing." she reaches over to grab your hand. you have no idea what she could possibly want beyond what she's asked for-- she's taken care of her friends, her family, and her transport.
"anything." shoola says. you think the woman might mean it.
sevika looks down at her lap and sighs. "we... we never really got married." she says. you blink, not at all understanding why she's telling the councilwoman this. "i mean... we had a party and we exchanged vows," she says, a smile tugging at her lips. you squeeze her hand and her eyes flick up to yours, before shyly darting away like you guys haven't been married for a decade now. like you guys don't have two kids together. "but we never... nobody gets married in zaun. 's expensive. the trip up to the justice is too far. and..." sevika gulps, her voice getting shaky as she looks back up at you. "and you're the reason i've fought so hard for our home in the first place." she whispers.
tears start to well up in your eyes and you let out a shaky laugh. "what, 're you proposing to me again?" you ask. sevika snorts and shakes her head before turning to shoola. the woman's drying her own tears.
"will you arrange to have us married? officially?"
"i'd be honored." shoola agrees.
the wedding is small and intimate, you and sevika, jinx and isha, vi, ran, scar, jericho, and shoola.
the councilwoman took you to a beautiful little garden a few blocks away from the council, and she married you, officially, as the sun set and your girls threw handfuls of confetti into the sky.
your whole party marches through the streets of piltover and back to zaun for the afterparty, councilwoman shoola laughing happily as you introduce her to the zaunite tradition of barcrawling.
each bar you enter, jericho happily announces that you and sevika have been freshly married. sevika, being the new spokeswoman of zaun, is quite the celebrity now. all of this is to say, you spend the night drinking many free drinks, hugging many drunk strangers, and kissing your wife on request about a thousand times.
it's the best night of your life.

Could you do A/B/O with Jinx as an alpha and reader as an omega in heat? If possible ty
Omggg yes! I love writing about wolfies!! 🥰
———
The Alphas Omega
Alpha!Jinx x Omega Fem!Reader
Smut, mentions of blood, mentions of G!P
Tumblr media
Two Alpha’s in a family was already stressful and not very easy to handle because of rivalry but these two sisters who were the said Alphas hated each other. They never got along well together after an accident and losing their pack leader, their father. One blames the other and so they separated.
The sisters were called Jinx and Vi. Vi already had found her omega, her name was Caitlyn. Jinx hated how fast her sister found her Omega, feeling like Vi was once again being better than Jinx which the blue haired Alpha hated.
„You will sense it once you find your Omega, don’t stress yourself.“ Her fathers words were ringing through Jinx’s head, making her grunt at the memory. „When though…“ She felt impatient, pacing around like a lost puppy as she thought about it more and more, deciding to leave her place to give her mind a little rest, a little fresh air wouldn’t be that bad after all so she made her way out. It didn’t take her long until someone bumped into her, making her let out a annoyed growl. „Can you open your eyes when walking??“
It was you who bumped into her, a Omega who was in heat and in desperate need for an Alpha. That’s actually the point why you were walking so quickly. You ran away from someone. Some Alpha who chased you because of your heat but you really didn’t want that Alpha to even get close to you.
Jinx’s expression was serious, she wasn’t amused by your sudden appearance at least for the first few seconds. Not wanting to stare too much at her beautiful thin but still muscular body, you decided to break the awkward silence. „I-…um…I am sorry.“ Your words came out quicker than you wanted, making you feel embarrassed but the longer you stood there, Jinx found interest in you, leaning down to take in your scent a little more, sensing that you are indeed a Omega. She kept on staring with her unusual but beautiful pink eyes before a little chuckle left her lips, kind of startling you. „Heh…as I can see a Omega bumped into me? And such a beautiful one too.“ She was flirting with you, making it harder to ignore your heat as you felt your crotch tingle at her seductive voice.
„Yeah and? I didn’t do it on purpose.“ You whined as you crossed your arms, trying to annoy her and get rid of you but that behavior only made it more tempting for Jinx. „Oh no need to act out like that. Are you searching for a Alpha to take care of your heat babygirl?? Or are you trying to deny your heat more from me? You know I can sense it.“ The way she talked to you made your knees go weak. Yes you needed release so bad. You believed that everything that happens is for a reason, so meeting her so randomly also must have happened for a reason. At least you tried to convince yourself to believe that.
„There you are. Thought you could run away from me?“ A man appeared around the corner, making you whince in fear. He was the one chasing you and making you run away, Jinx could sense your fear so she decided to protect you, moving her arm around your waist as she pulled you closer to her. „Fuck off dude, that’s my Omega.“ She grumbled as she looked at the other Alpha with a death stare.
„Is that so? Then why doesn’t she have your scent on her?? She is not yours and I will make sure she never will be.“ He snarled back, making Jinx only more mad, her protective instincts getting more present as you searched for safety in her touch. Being a unowned Omega in heat was very difficult sometimes especially since you didn’t only follow your instincts but also your heart. You wouldn’t let anyone get close to you you didn’t have a connection with it just felt wrong. And especially not that kind of male Alpha who thinks he can get you only because you are in heat.
„Fine. Then I have to show you a lesson. You will regret not turning away and fucking leaving her alone.“ Jinx‘s eyes were glowing pink. Usually werewolves had golden eyes but not hers. She was a very special werewolf you just felt it. When she let go of you, stepping forward to challenge the other Alpha, you already missed her touch, standing there as you watched the scene before you. She was very quick, attacking the male without a warning, both clawing and punching each other, you couldn’t tell who of them would win yet but you hoped it was Jinx. You heard a groan from the male, blood running down his face as he panted heavily. „You’re way too quick…“ He said, spitting on the floor. Jinx only smirking at him, watching his form kneeling pathetically on the ground before giving him a last kick. „You are not even worth being an Alpha.“ She spat out the words disgusted before turning to walk towards you. You were happy that she took over and won this but you also frowned when you saw bruises on her face and body.
„Are you alright??…“ You dared to ask, gaining a grin from her as she nodded. „Of course I am. I showed him what a real Alpha is like.“
The way she saved you without even knowing you, it was so hot. It made you immediately fall for her. Something you didn’t know would happen the second you saw her but now all you wanted was to get close to her, rushing towards her and hugging her tightly, taking in her scent. „Thank you…thank you so much.“ You told her, feeling her arms gently move around you to keep you close as she did the same. Your scent was addicting to her and she couldn’t stop the thought of being inside of you, your heat making her go crazy deep inside. „Come on let’s leave before this idiot changes his mind.“ Jinx mentioned before dragging you along with her to her hideout.
„It’s okay I can go home now you already helped me out.“ You told her but Jinx ignored your wish to just go, knowing what will happen when you stay around her in your heat. „I saw how you can protect yourself hun, you are a typical omega…soft and kind, not wanting to do any harm…“ She cooed her last words, eyeing you carefully before she made you sit on her bed, getting a whine from you in response.
„Don’t you dare wanting to leave me now after spreading your beautiful scent around me…“ She said as she crawled on top of you, making your back hit the mattress as you go into your submissive space, your mind wants you to go but your instincts told you to stay. There was something special about Jinx. Not only her saving you but also her scent. It wasn’t like the other Alphas scent, it was much more beautiful and addicting. Was that how a Alpha smells like that perfectly fits for you? You had so many questions but you will soon lose the ability to think as you slowly shut your brain off and listen to your instincts, to your heat.
It didn’t take long for Jinx to lose her patience, the need to get closer to you have taken over her as she placed kisses down your neck, her fangs gently bite your skin, making you whine at the pain. Your hands clawing at her shoulders, hips buckling up to rub your heat against her crotch, you really were so needy. „Fuck…such a good girl you are…“ She mumbled against your skin before running her tongue along your sensitive skin up to your jawline and then captured your lips in a heated kiss.
You couldn’t help but moan into the kiss. „Please…please I need you…“ You mumbled into the kiss, basically begging for release, this only turned her on even more as she moved her hands down to her pants and getting rid of them, releasing her hard member. Only your clothes being in the way now which Jinx removed immediately after, you desperately lifting your hips so she could take it off, seeing how wet you are made her bite down on her lower lip, her gaze driving you crazy as you whined out softly. „Mhh…stop staring and fuck me already!“
Jinx chuckled at your needy reaction, leaning back down to whisper into your ear while she was teasing your entrance with the tip. „So needy and impatient aren’t you? When we met you didn’t want me to fuck you and now…all mine huh?“ She bit down on your earlobe, making you groan in annoyance. You knew she enjoyed teasing you so much but you had enough of that, wrapping your legs around her waist to pull her closer, her cock slipping inside you easily which made her feel surprised at first, letting out a soft moan as she felt your warmth. „Ah…you are so horny for me…for me only…“ She said, finally thrusting inside of you, giving you exactly what you wanted and you couldn’t feel happier.
It didn’t take long until you both ended up a moaning mess, the room being filled with wet naughty sounds, the pheromones in the air driving both of you crazy.
Her thrusts became harder and faster, fucking you into the mattress as she left bites down your neck and chest, marking you as hers as she got lost into the pleasure and the sweet sounds you made, licking up the blood when she bit a little bit too hard. „Fuck! Fuck I‘m-…c-close…“ You panted in between your moans. You felt that Jinx was close too as her moans became louder, she tried to hold them back before by biting her lower lip hard but at this point it was just not possible anymore as she reached her orgasm as well, knotting you as she then released her cum inside of you, you cumming right after, walls clenching around her as you clawed her back, leaving scratch marks there, making Jinx groan softly at the pain mixed with the pleasure.
She let you ride out your orgasm, giving you slow but deep thrusts before she could pull out but you didn’t let her pull out of you, pulling her back down on you, searching for her lips and you both kissed each other again. „Hnng…stay…right where you are.“ You said softly and she stayed, looking down at you with a smirk, knowing you weren’t half way done yet. „Oh? You wanna go again?“ She asked with a teasing voice as she placed kisses on your cheek and jawline. You only hummed in response but then you remembered you didn’t even know her name.
„So…will that strong Alpha tell me her name or what? So I can scream it for the next round…“ You told her, making her eyes flicker with excitement as she looked down at you. „It’s Jinx.“ She answered and you told her your name after before you kissed again, deeply and passionately.
You knew she was the one. Your Alpha and you are her Omega.

I'm honestly just looking to rant and this might be long depending on how fast I get irritated the more I type so if this isn't coherent or well written I apologize in advance. Since it looks like Ambessa will take on a more antagonistic role in arcane season two, I would like to unpack the fandom's antiblackness that you guys are either blind to or aware and too pussy to call it out as my gut is telling me it's gonna increase and if no one is gonna start the difficult conversation then I sure as hell will.
Tumblr media
Sevika:
Mel:
Starting off strong with the definition of "you guys want complex female characters but can't even handle her". Mel Medarda is in quite the predicament seeing how she's morally grey, a black woman, AND "gets in the way" of a mlm ship so she was kinda screwed from the start. A cunning politician disowned for her pacifism who acts as a sort of bridge to Noxus' slow introduction, and is THE ONLY CHARACTER IN THE SEASON 1 MAIN CAST SPECIFICALLY CREATED FOR THE SHOW. She's treated like satan incarnate or a Jezebel (highly suggest looking into that if you don't know what that is), GOOD character analysis is rare, and when she is talked about positively, it's so often chalked up to appearances that I'd rather yall not talk about her at all. Oh you love Mel? Then can we talk about her relationship with her mother? Unpack her dynamic with Jayce? Maybe more fanworks centered around her? I've seen yall's fake asses dropping the shittiest fucking takes about her only to turn around and gush over how pretty she is, and yall think you're slick about it and you're not. I would say I prefer the ones who are loud and proud about their hatred but that'd be a lie, they're two cheeks on the same ass; annoying and couldn't give a decent break down of her character if a gun was pointed at they head even she's perfect to dissect. I could talk about her more but we'd be here all day and so many black women even from outside the fanbase have already talked about yall so there's no need for me to add on 🤷🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️.
Quick question, have you guys ever tried to talk about her in a non sexual way? Yes, Sevika is undeniably sexy and you could argue that true stans of hers talk about her outside of horny time, but a good half of the fandom is a different story. In a similar case to Mel's, deep dives into her character are rare to find which is crazy when she acts as Zaun's own "kingmaker". She's loyal to her city and the cause, never to a specific person and will not hesitate to betray you. She could be your right hand man one day, and the next she might find a better kingpin to follow and stab you in the back like it all meant nothing. "Were you tempted?" "Not for a worm like him". Simple and subtle and probably my favorite Sevika scene; she comes to realize Silco is no longer the best leader for Zaun, but he's as good as it gets for now and so she sticks by him. I remember a YouTube comment breaking down how she's essentially the quintessential Zaun: a brute warrior molded by her environment, who defied Vander's peaceful ways and embraced Silco's cruelty. Her mindset and goal is interesting and you'd think it'd result in some fascinating meta or exploration of her upbringing when we got a hint that she potentially has some daddy issues right? Obviously, but what do we get instead? White sapphics treating her like nothing more than a sexual object. How delightful!
Ekko:
This might partially be Riot's fault because — and I hate to sound like a league lore nerd — Ekko is quite underdeveloped compared to the richer origins of his former pre arcane self, but I'm gonna hold off on that till the season finale to see how they handle him. Anyways, at this point the fandom clearly sees him as Jinx's trophy husband. When you talk about him, she is brought into the convo 90% of the time. That's exactly why I prefer black timebomb shippers over the nonblack ones because I trust they actually love Ekko as a character on his own. Even though I have my complaints regarding how's been written so far, I still know he's too good to be reduced to Jinx's loverboy. He fights and cares for his city, the only character that you can confidently say is pure of heart, and is the revolutionary leader Zaun really needs. He's just as smart as Jinx too, he is literally going to create TIME TRAVEL. Why does no one wanna talk about that? Can we be excited for his character development and arc not just for the timebomb scenes you'll get out of it?
Ambessa:
Can't even deny this woman is awful but her presence on screen enthralled me after a couple of rewatches and I also love bad mothers in media so I've settled on a love/hate relationship. Yes, she's definitely gonna have some influence on Caitlyn, which makes sense since she has now lost her mother; she's vulnerable and as we have seen, naive. She's practically free real estate for Ambessa. My recent worry though has been how the fandom seems to be willing to put all of Caitlyn's actions on her as if Cait isn't a grown ass woman who can make her own decisions. Of course being grown doesn't mean you're immune to manipulation, but I've seen some Silco and Jinx comparisons and it is NOT the same. Mind you we haven't even seen the first three episodes; we don't know how far Ambessa's manipulation is going to go and we can't really tell what the dynamic is gonna be like based off of clips and trailers that are likely shown out of context on purpose to throw people off. I'll never defend her actions, hell I'll join in on the lashings, but my black ass is also not gonna sit here and let yall talk about her weirdly or pin all of this on her.
Some might say I'm overthinking this, but I've been here since November 2021 and have sat back and observed for 2 years. You don't have to write deep, philosophical conversations 24/7, I'm sure it's not all in bad faith and I won't act like I don't thirst over Sevika or marvel at Mel's beauty. I'm not saying you have to like these characters and that you're racist if you don't. My frustration comes from the lack of nuanced conversations and hypocritical opinions surrounding black characters in this show. When you try to say something about this, you're hit with excuses; it reminds me of how man obsessed fujoshis act when they're questioned for not giving two fucks about female characters. They're either reduced to one character trait, only admired for their looks, or only discussed when it's about the white character they're connected to. Do NOT under ANY circumstance be black and morally ambiguous, you WILL be held to higher moral standards than everyone's wittle blorbos who can do wrong and are defended from all sides when you dare to take the rose colored stan glasses off and criticize them. What's really ridiculous is you hear the "complex characters" bullshit every two to three business days and some of you have the nerve to boast about this series being diverse while simultaneously ignoring the complexities in the characters of color. This is the main reason I took a step back and with season two around the corner I thought "Hey, maybe it'll be better this time!" and it was a mistake. Good to know yall still have an underlying racism problem you don't wanna address but with some extra classism thrown in. "What will we do once Arcane ends?" hopefully get a job, touch some grass, and reflect. Lord knows yall need it. The faster yall sizzle out the better. I'm done that's all I have to say lol goodnight 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽.

Seeing as they clearly didn't know what the hell to do with Jinx/the political repercussions of her bombing the council in season 2, I'd like to explore the possibilities of how Zaun would've reacted to this that would've made way more sense than what we saw.
1. Jinx becomes an extremely controversial figure.
Few are neutral to her. This would be largely because, outside of knowing she blew up the council, no one actually knows WHY. What were her motives? Were they politically charged? Was she trying to start a war? What exactly was her goal? It was never really stated that she was infamous prior to this, but I recall in season 1 act 2 that when Vi went looking for her, people knew OF Jinx, and that she worked for Silco, but weren't really aware of any further details. So those that are aware of her connection to Silco- who objectively did make many of their lives worse with Shimmer- wouldn't be happy. They'd be scared of what will come next.
Those who don't know/don't care might fill in the blanks with their own guesses, maybe that she's some kind of activist- which would split them further into the subgroups of "Oh fuck the enforcers are gonna kill us and it's her fault" and "Finally, a war!" The second of which I'd argue would actually be a very small group. I could imagine the Jinxers being seen by the rest of Zaun as crazy radicals who don't know what they're getting themselves into/are gonna drag the rest of Zaun into danger. I think it would cause a LOT of infighting. Like a civil war inside another civil war.
How Jinx would handle this would be.... interesting. Especially if the Jinxers start making moves on their own. She never really shows much interest in activism- she works for Silco because he's her new dad, and while she doesn't seem to DISAGREE with his opinions, it doesn't seem she's all that invested in actually working to make it happen beyond just wanting to help her dad. His death seemed to take her interest with it.
Now, they could either lean into this, and make people question her motives/actions because of her clear disinterest, maybe increasing some of the controversy around her (no follow through on her action, letting Zaunites suffer the consequences, etc.), or they could make her actually take a genuine personal interest in it. But that, I think, would take a bigger arc that might be more work for arguably less payoff when considering you'd probably have to change a great deal of her character to do it, especially when you could probably achieve similar plot points/outcomes even without her intentionally becoming a political figurehead.
2. Zaun becomes fractured politically/other "symbols" of Zaun
This can be in tandem with idea 1, actually, but can still be it's own idea. Basically, after the fall of the council, and Silco's death, Zaunites are terrified. They've been run so far by Vander, Silco, and then some vague council-like oligarchy of Chem-Barons, who could be interpreted as functioning like very large gangs. The Chem-Barons have always been around, but with Silco's sudden death (and no one who was primed/expecting to replace him), this leaves a massive power vacuum that the Chem-Barons and smaller gangs are scrambling to come out on top of.
The fear of the unknown and the extreme instability would lead to people desperately throwing their lot in with whoever they think would be a better/less dangerous leader, and by extension, political symbol. Season 2 shows a bunch of new people joining the Firelights. In that case, I can imagine that before long, several new potential leaders surface, even if they didn't expect it. Namely, Ekko, Jinx, and Sevika.
Ekko because as I said, people were apparently coming to his base in droves. They don't tell us Jack shit about the Firelights besides the fact that A) Ekko leads them B) they don't fuck with Silco OR Piltover C) Piltover thinks they're terrorists and D) they look rad as fuck. That being said, considering Ekko's Everything, I think we can all gather a general picture of what the Firelights are about. Plus his cool tree would be a great symbol (@srslylini for the idea) of growth, healing, etc.
Sevika, because those that knew her as Silco's second might be hoping for some kind of stability with her. Even if they didn't like Silco, it's better the enemy you know and all that jazz. They'd feel safer with someone who at least seems to know what they're doing, even if Sevika herself has no interest in becoming a leader. I think some would just naturally gravitate towards who they see as "second in line". This could also be in connection to Jinx, as she could possibly been seen as someone who could "rein" Jinx in (again, most people don't actually KNOW Jinx, they just know OF her and that she worked for Silco and was volatile. Think how Finn referred to her as Silco's "attack dog").
Speaking of Jinx, she'd probably be treated similarly to idea 1. Extremely polarizing. Her followers would be seen as crazy, like she is. They'd be seen as warmongers and/or people who have no idea what they're getting themselves into. They'd basically be seen as the stereotypical "young rebels". The average Zaunite would see the average Jinxer as a young, angry, maybe idealistic radical who doesn't understand the cost of war. I'd argue that, again, they'd probably be the smallest and most controversial group just because most people don't necessarily WANT a war, even if they're willing to fight for it. And the suddenness of the bombing would've scared even some of the rebels who DO want war, because they weren't prepared. It wasn't a PLANNED attack, so both Zaun AND Piltover are basically caught with their pants down, which would also bring some ire from the other Zaunites.
There's another option for a faction I'd like to explore, also thanks to srslylini (thank you icon), but it takes a bit of setting up.
In a hypothetical situation in which Vi did NOT become an enforcer, I think it would happen like this: Vi hangs around in Piltover at first out of guilt/feeling like she has nowhere else to go. She's still not on board with being an enforcer, but she attends the memorial out of a sense of obligation. Her and Caitlyn have a falling out over Caitlyn calling Zaunites "animals", and here is where she storms off and goes back to Zaun, with the final words to Caitlyn that "You Pilties are all the fucking same" (or something to that effect). She's still feeling lost, and so maybe this is where she stumbles around, having maybe a similar pitfighting arc (just not as distraught, more like she's broke and angry and has to pay rent somehow so she might as well get paid to punch someone's face in). Because she's not in a massive spiral, there's unfortunately no emo arc (sad), but the bright side of this is that she's recognizable. I don't think she's FAMOUS, per say, but Babette and Ekko recognized her right off the bat in season 1 (yes you can say Ekko was really close to her, but Babette? C'mon), and considering she was older than Powder when she went off to prison, I don't think it's a stretch to assume her face was a little better-known than her sister's (especially considering she was already going on jobs, and in act 1 she gets into a fight with Deckard who I'm pretty sure knew her name, but not Powder's).
This is to say, I think a lot of the "old heads" knew who she was, especially those who liked Vander. It helps that she tattooed her name on her face LMAO. So I'd imagine she'd show up in the ring, no hair dye no makeup, and eventually after consistently knocking her opponents around and winning every time, she'd become a bit locally famous again- to the point that those same "old heads" who remember her make the connection and come looking. Maybe rumors start swirling, especially once they learn she was gone because she'd been in prison- not unheard of, and probably the first conclusion they drew when they realized she wasn't dead.
So eventually Vander's old followers/younger people who idolized him from their childhood start seeking her out. Sensationalizing her. Asking her what she's planning on doing. Is she taking back the Lanes? Will she get those Chem-Barons under control? What about Jinx? Could she hunt her down, rein her in? Hell, maybe even put her to use? Will you give us our relative safety, our security back?
And Vi, who just wanted to knock some heads around and maybe take a nap in her apartment and cry, is suddenly faced with being "Vander 2.0" and Jinx is the new "Silco 2.0" and all the weight of expectations and legacy and history and literal war and politics are being shoved in her face. She, like Jinx, is now faced with becoming a figurehead when she never wanted to be, which could lead into option 3:
3. A joint approach to Zaun
This would primarily be driven by Sevika even if she wasn't one of the possible leaders, because SOMEONE has to be the responsible adult here and it's certainly not any of these traumatized losers (affectionate). She'd be the glue to keep it all together, the reluctant team mom who WILL make this work because she WILL have Zaun even if she has to die to get it.
This could work with either Jinx and Vi, or Jinx, Vi, and Ekko (I genuinely can't imagine season 2 act 1 Ekko willingly teaming up with season 2 act 1 Jinx AND Sevika without some kind of buffer). Basically, once the other "leader candidates"/political symbols have been established, Sevika would round them up with the intention to use their influence to unite Zaun against Piltover. This would take a LOT of arguing, but ultimately I think she'd be able to get them to shut up and hear her out for a moment. Regardless of how different their beliefs are about what the "ideal Zaun" looks like, they can all agree that Piltover isn't in any of those pictures. She could convince them to set aside their own squabbling for the time being, for the greater good: aka, the independence of Zaun.
At the very least, I think she'd be able to get them to agree that Piltover coming down and hurting Zaunites in revenge shouldn't be ignored, and that they're currently a bigger threat than their fellow Zaunite. So eventually they'd reach some kind of truce: behave like a united front against Piltover, push them out of Zaun, stabilize Zaun, and then worry about tearing each other apart later. And because all of these characters- ALL of them- have shown (prior to season 2) anti-Piltover sentiments, they'd at least be able to agree that enforcers shouldn't be allowed to beat down on their people (especially in this version where Vi has better, more consistent writing lmao).
Of course, Rome wasn't built in a day, so maybe they don't reach a total agreement immediately- maybe they just agree to a ceasefire at first, but still refuse to work together. But once Caitlyn becomes a dictator? Once enforcers start gassing the streets, rounding people up, implementing martial law?
That's when the gloves would come off.
I'd imagine this could also be part of how Vi and Jinx slowly start to repair their relationship. They've got bigger fish to fry, but also, this time their enemy is connected to their own personal conflict with each other. Jinx might ask, "what happened to your enforcer girl? What happened to being a Piltie lapdog?" And Vi would essentially, in perhaps more emotionally constipated words, explain that it wasn't really about Caitlyn, it was about being needed. It was about trying to find Jinx, about trying to stop Silco, about trying to "fix" things, only realize that she couldn't. It was about trying to make things better, but that she realized the person she was trying to do that with didn't actually care. That all she wanted was to make sense of the destruction of her old life, and find meaning in a new one. And I think Jinx, too, in her own emotional constipation, would resonate with that, would understand that. It wouldn't fix things between them, but I think it'd be a start.
It could also help their relationship with Ekko. Since Vi isn't an enforcer this time, and season 1 (the One True Season) showed their sibling relationship, I think her and Ekko's bonding would be more like "reconnecting with an old friend", whereas Jinx and Ekko would have a lot of work to do, too. There'd probably be a bit of a cold war between them for a while, once Ekko agrees to help, because he knows actually talking to her would piss him off. But eventually, through Sevika's manhandling of these three, and being forced to make nice with reluctant-figurehead-Jinx, they'd connect again.
Perhaps part of a plan is for them to develop new technology for Zaun. Whether that's weapons against Piltover (unlikely on Ekko's part I think), or just safety gear/ safer city infrastructure ideas for the betterment of their people, I think eventually they'd figure themselves out, too. He'd see the Powder in her, the part he saw on that bridge, and maybe it would give him the ability to try and understand Jinx. And Jinx would realize that maybe these people in her life DO love her, DO care about her, more than just for what she used to be but for who she is now. And somewhere along the way, they'd be friends again (or they can date IDK or care man I just want them to stop trying to kill each other).
Whatever happens next is so wide in possibility that I can't possibly cover it here so this is where it ends, lol.

I think people never say it out loud when ch 7 out but i will say it now
If you're a Lilia or Malleus fans i wouldn't suggest reading this because this rant is full on snide on both Lilia and Mal.
Tumblr media
Lilia, this is the 2ND time you made overblot happen and this one is on purpose. If i were you i wouldn't to be so smug about it, you will jinx something and you did.
"B-but, Leona almost tried to hurt Malleus, Silver and Sebek-"
Okay i get it, you mad, but with Leona being show being a mess even before this i wouldn't be so upfront about it. Especially when i heard someone Overblot not to long ago too.
And look what happen when leona actually overblot.
Tumblr media
Mf didn't look like he regret or atleast concerned, his face show the "see? I told you so" kind of face. Atleast the in game sprite make you look worried or concerned but this actually kinda like he is showing he is right and then ch 7 happen.
I know malleus fans will go after me but i will say it even if i have to shout it
You can't tell me Malleus deed isn't like him throwing tantrum cause he doesn't want lilia to leave.
Okay i get it he feel lonely, he doesn't want the person who keep him company all this years doesn't leave, but that's where the problem is.
Malleus never taught of what to do when someone dear to him or someone he know left.
That sh- supposed to be something that being taught especially since he is supposed to be the KING and and if we follow how old fashioned his kingdom and senate is, he will not allowed to show weakness like tears, sadness, etc. This ofc include loneliness, and since we know the draconia effect the weather from their emotions alone, wouldn't this actually something THEY need to learn and practice? Malleanor is one thing because we know she can't be held down, but Malleus, if you look at it, can be taught because we know that Lilia isn't with him all the time and the senate has power to make him lied to mal.
Also he forget there's literal silver over there who is Lilia's son and also the one cry in silent so lilia wouldn't see him sad when he is leaving and want to repay everything.
Even worse, what Malleus did literally can engulfed the entire world if left alone and because he can keep taking magic from nature, his overblot may stay for years, even worse than Leona.
He is lucky that only briar and S.T.Y.X know about what happen, if not this may instigated another fae vs human war again but this time more like Fae vs all other races, with how this can actually effect the entire world. Also Mal can't be forced to forget his throne cause he is the sole heir to the throne.
Is he still a king? Yes.
But is he a true king? I don't think so.
So him saying that Malleus is a true king kinda like jinxed that his would also done it.
"B-but Leona doing something bad and he mean it, while Malleus did it but he mean good"
Whether he mean good or not is it even matter? If anything Malleus is acting selfishly here and didn't even ask other opinion regarding of what he tried to do, much like when he teleport the dorm leaders in his dorm card Vignettes. If he only include the diasom 4 inside, he still safe, But he include everyone in sage's island to this and even may purposely expanding to the entire world. Which isn't what a "true" king do. A true king wouldn't involve their subject to something bad intentionally, only bad and greedy one do, so i wouldn't say he is a "true" king like Lilia describe him.
That's all from me, have a nice day.

Enhypen : when their S/O has a wardrobe malfunction
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
☆ Heeseung
He met you a little before your performance, and he definitely did not trust the extra fabric of your skirt. But your stylist reassured him saying that it wasn't long enough for you to trip on it. She definitely jinxed it. When you almost fell down face first that too on the chorus part, Heeseung really couldn't stop his reaction. Everyone and their mothers could tell that he was worried and him disappearing right after the performance told a huge story. The media and fans had a field day with you both.
Would 100% pull you in a hug knowing how sad you must be. Let's you cry on his shoulder, keeps praising you for being so professional, would crack some lame jokes here and there to make you laugh. He peppers your face in kisses. His eyes are shooting daggers at the stylist.
☆ Jay
Would immediately notice something is wrong, even before you. You had worn a tie strap top, and your stylist had thought that it would be a nice idea to let you wear that top without anything underneath it. So it was no wonder that the tie would come lose at some point. He's a relatively calm person but seeing you finally notice the tie coming lose made him want to rip his hair out and run up to the stage to cover you. Thankfully there was a part where you had to step away for the main dancers part, at that moment the leader of your group tied the straps of your top. But Jay could tell you were hyperventilating, thinking that you had ruined the performance.
He would just pull you in a hug and stoke your hair whispering sweet nothings in your ear, it physically hurts him to see you cry but he doesn't stop you. He's honestly just so understanding, but still reassures you. Gives you forehead kisses >_<
☆ Jake
Honestly you both realize it at the same time. It was particularly windy when your group started performing. And you were already stressed because of your lightweight skirt. We all know where this is going, so just when you were stepping away after your part ended the wind made your skirt ride all the way up. Thankfully you were wearing safety shorts and the camera was focused on someone else. But it was still a very traumatizing situation. It genuinely slipped his mind to control his reaction and then he was plastered all over internet along with your performance video. Your fancam was deleted later, and the unfortunate part wasn't in focus in the main performance video.
Immediately attacking you with kisses, pulled you in a bone crushing hug. Honestly he was way more worried and stressed than you were, so I'd say he's the one who needs your reassurance.
☆ Sunghoon
He doesn't realize it until you are holding your pants together. There was a part in the song where you had to kneel down, and your overly tight pants ripped along the side. It was a relatively small rip at first but when you had to do that part again in the second verse, the pants ripped almost all the way. It was extremely noticeable but you still performed as if nothing happened. Actually the only one who controlled his reactions and had some sense. He knows you aren't panicking so he isn't either. A small part of him is actually very mad at the stylist, he remembers you asking them for a different pant but they refused.
He doesn't visit you right away knowing your group would be huddled around you. But when he does visit he pulls you aside and let's you cry on his shoulder. As the oldest of your group you hate to cry infront of others and sunghoon knows that. Wipes your tears and kisses your cheeks.
☆ Sunoo
He is too lost staring at your face to notice what happened. You were wearing a strapless dress and it was a little big on you, there was nothing that was holding your dress together. Yet you performed flawless as ever, until the part where you had to lift you hands up and do a little jump. The whole dress shifted lower and if it wasn't for the palm of your hand you would've definitely flashed the audience your safety bra. Sunoo had the most unfiltered expression ever. Like his hand covering his dropped jaw, dramatically standing and all (thankfully Niki held him down but everyone still saw him almost stand up).
He is asking you questions non stop the moment you meet his eye, he's just worried but all the attention was just making you feel more embarrassed. Pulls you in a hug and rubs your back. Although dramatic he is the sweetest and constantly reassures you.
☆ Jungwon
It was too noticeable to not notice. There was a small zip on the front of your top, and technically speaking it should've been sewn shut just so it doesn't come undone. But that's exactly what happened, the choreo was a bit hard and in all that moving the zipper came undone. You didn't notice it until you feel air on your chest, your cleavage showing a little too much. But you immediately zipped it as soon as you noticed it. Jungwon paled the moment he saw you on screen. As someone who doesn't like showing skin this was a nightmare for you.
You were pulled in a hug as soon as you stepped down from the stage. Jungwon rocked you back and forth noticing you let out some sniffles. Tries to comfort the best he can (he's doing a great job honestly).
☆ Niki
He notices you not keeping up first and then realizes what is going on. You were wearing a bracelet, sometime in the performance it got stuck on the fabric of your skirt. You tried to undo it, but after it wouldn't budge you decided to just rip it but you weren't expecting the fabric of your skirt to rip that much. Honestly the ripped cloth wasn't that noticeable because your skirt was frilled, but it still messed your performance. He tries his best to not give any reaction but he's very proud of you for handling it so professionally. He knows that something so small wouldn't make you upset.
Despite that he visits you to make sure you were ok, just to see you laughing and making jokes with your members about the mishap. He let's it slip that he was worried despite knowing you would tease him for it.

i'm rewatching arcane s1 and i think this is the first solo face to face fight that we see after finding out that ekko is the leader of the firelights and i'm just getting emotional because like after jinx is like omg hi the boy savior, ekko doesn't even say anything, the first thing he does when they meet is he starts swinging his watch and we're like what the fuck is going on
Tumblr media
and so is jinx she's like what the fu- but then she gets it
Tumblr media
he's bringing up this old game they used to play, something only he and powder would know about.
Tumblr media
and powder does show up.
Tumblr media
suddenly jinx is back to being powder again. she's giggly and excited, it's just her and ekko, it's just a game.
Tumblr media
and then we see this sequence of slowed down intercuts of not just the game fight, but also a prediction of how the actual fight is going to play out
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
and they know how this game is going to turn out, they've played together so many times.
ekko gets shot. he loses. powder is too fast a shot for ekko to land a hit. powder wins.
Tumblr media
and then we rewind back to the moment before their fight, and they play out the dance that they both know they're in. except this time,
Tumblr media
there's no shot. there's this slowed moment where ekko's hovering in the air, fully open for a shot, and you're telling me that jinx the sharpshooter who's older now and is known for her speed can't land a hit?? no, she HELD HER SHOT
Tumblr media
and gets bashed in the face by ekko a few times
Tumblr media
and the first time i watched this scene, or in my memory of it, i interpreted this scene as being a moment where jinx is using ekko's feelings and memories of their childhood to emotionally manipulate him into not killing her/ beating her up, and i remembered that ekko fell for it and that jinx exploded them or something. but the way i remembered in my head it was like, jinx was like oh no! don't hit me i am poor baby powder! and then ekko is like omg you are poor baby powder and then jinx is like HEEHEE GOTCHA AS IF and then explodes them but now that im rewatching the show its more like
Tumblr media
idk i'm sure this is supposed to represent like just how manipulative and awful jinx is that she would trick her childhood friend like that, but to me this is the face of someone who wishes things weren't like this. someone who's sorry that she has to do what she does next.
AND ALSO CAN I JUST SAY
Tumblr media Tumblr media
THEY LOOK AT EACH OTHER SO !!! TENDERLY !!!

fem reader x jinx, that reader puts jinx, isha, vi, caitlyn and Warwick on an airship and they go to be happy before something bad happens
Tumblr media
of course! thank you for the request <3
summary; jinx and fem!reader putting the family on an airship and escaping together.
characters included; jinx (romantic), isha (platonic/familial), vi (platonic), caitlyn (platonic), warwick (platonic)
tags/warnings; fluff, mother/mother/daughter dynamic, in-laws(?), but you and jinx aren’t married, mentions of war/combat, s2 spoilers, canon divergence (everyone is alive), one mention of jinx trying to khs, caitvi
men dni.
getting jinx and isha to agree to this plan wasn’t too difficult. one of jinx’s most prominent flaws was her pride, being unable to admit when she was wrong most times and when she needed to just step away. but after isha nearly dying, being thrown in jail, almost killing herself, and hallucinating her dead father figure, she decided it may actually be a good idea to just… leave. start over.
isha was at the age where she did begin to think things through more thoroughly. despite being a child, she still had feelings and wants, so you wanted to give her some say in your decision. when you first presented her with the idea, explaining it in simple terms, her brows furrowed and her eyes squinted, as she went into thought. she turned on her heel to sit down and color, but you could tell that the question was still playing on her mind. it took a few hours for isha to return to you with an answer, but she decided yes, she was okay with this.
convincing the rest of the people in jinx's life to do this anything but simple. caitlyn had a legacy, even if she was no longer commander. she had a desperate, war-torn city looking to her for guidance. for security. vi's pride as a zaunite, her family ties, the memories that zaun held made her want to stay. zaun held the stone with the heights of her and her powder as children. the memories of her ragtag crew as a young teenager. warwick couldn't bear to leave his home, either. he had spent so long as an unofficial leader of the undercity, fighting against the brutality of topside. in-laws or not, even though it was for jinx, they couldn't.
but somehow, all of them eventually came around to the idea. caitlyn took the longest, citing her father as a reason. she'd already lost her poor mother, how could she bear to leave her father? after seeing the destruction of piltover, the destruction her girlfriend's people faced, realizing just how badly she fucked up, she decided it was time to step down from any political position. her father knew she was debating winning, her mind swinging back and forth like a pendulum, an internal battle. but what fully convinced caitlyn was her father giving his blessing.
"go, caitlyn. make a better life for yourself. your mother wouldn't want you to stay somewhere you're unhappy."
vi decided to leave as soon as she realized exactly how blind she had been to the suffering of her people. to what her sister had been put through. her baby sister, who she spent 7 years in stillwater thinking about, who she treated so poorly. all for caitlyn, being pulled by the strings at the hands of ambessa.
warwick simply wanted to be with his family. after thinking it over, cutting his losses and being with what was left of his family, his girls, was all he needed. so many years separated, wondering where they were, if they were even alive, the kinds of people they turned out to be. how long had even passed? at least 7 years, by the looks of things.
the road to redemption was a winding, confusing one with so many twists and turns, so many obstacles, but sometimes the best thing to do is simply walk away.
long nights spent by jinx's side, her sat in your lap, figuring out exactly how she's going to pull this off. it's not like she had any experience flying airships, her grumbling as she tries to read the millionth instruction manual you picked up for her.
"this is stupid."
she'd groan, tossing her head back in that dramatic way you always found amusing.
"you're the one flying the ship, aren't you? it's just some reading."
"yeah, but you know me! i like to learn by doing. what are words gonna do for me?"
"you can't really chance it with an airship, babe." you'd say, trying to ease her nerves and pulling her closer to you.
"ugh. damn you, being all rational..."
and then she'd return to the manual.
loading everyone onto the airship wasn't an easy job, either. jinx shouting out orders-
"everyone make sure you have all your shit! i'm not turning around!"
"don't bring anything cold! i don't have a cooler and it's gonna stink up the place!"
it was kind of cute, honestly. seeing your girlfriend take on a position of leadership, even if it was for an escape operation. just a while ago, she had been so reluctant to accept her status as a symbol, and while she still is, she can at least feel comfortable to voice her concerns with the people she's comfortable around.
you're sat with your knees to your chest, close to your girlfriend at the wheel. looking up at her every now and then to check her nerves, and the girl shooting down smiles at you. god, that smile. vi checks out the last of the mechanics on the airship, coming up behind jinx to announce that everything was okay. and making her poor sister jump in the process.
"all looks good. you ready?"
"gods, vi! you scared the shit out of me!"
vi just puts her hands on her hips and shakes her head, letting out a little huff. a lighthearted one.
"not the first time."
jinx just scoffs. "what about your girlfriend?"
"passed out. she's exhausted from packing every single thing she has. seriously, i'd say it's overkill, but she'd have my head."
you let out a chortle at that, and look back up at jinx. warwick is also sleeping- a journey like this will be strenuous for him especially. but he's there, at least.
"so where the hell are we going, anyways?"
you ask, eyes fixated on jinx's own. her short hair, her body covered in paint, her voice, it all makes your heart flutter- but this is a journey. you have to stay focused.
"dunno. wherever the wind takes us."
she replies, voice light and matter-of-fact. you groan in response, a slight pout forming on your face. tugging your knees closer to your chest. damn, jinx could be spontaneous, but the least she could do is tell you where you're going to build your new life. she giggles, and quickly squats down to your level. ruffling your hair with a smirk.
"relax, toots. i'll take us somewhere real nice, okay? somewhere you and i can start over."
she accents her words with a gentle peck to your temple, prompting you to lean into it. as brief as it was. you snake your arms around her waist, and lay your head on her shoulder, just savoring the moment. these are your final few minutes in valoran, the nation that holds so much of your past. your milestones, your hopes, your childhood dreams. the same could be said for everyone on the ship. jinx lets you embrace her, humming and leaning into your touch.
"i don't mean to interrupt the moment, but it's gonna get dark soon."
jinx groans.
"sorry, lovebirds."

I think the biggest problem with Arcane season 2 is how disappointing the characters' personal arcs are. The writers seem to have missed the mark with what they were originally going for, aka what the entire concept of season 2 was.
We know that season 1 was mainly about the conflict between Zaun and Piltover and the conflict between Jinx and Vi. Those two main themes carried over (or at least they were supposed to, but the writers fumbled that), but what about everything else? The whole premise?
The intro sequence hints for it. The way all characters are dressed in very plain clothes, not their signature outfits, which signifies how the story aims to challenge their identities. Outfits, especially in animated shows, where characters often wear the same things, are very important. That's what makes them recognizable. Taking that away foreshadows how vital parts of their characters will be put into question, too.
Vi's scene confirms this. We see her wiping off her VI tattoo, which is a foreshadowing to her loss of identity, how much she struggles with who she is now that Jinx is gone. Also, her becoming an Enforcer, against everything she believed in.
Tumblr media
Jinx waving a flag, a reference to Liberty Leading the People, showing how she will become a symbol to Zaun, an inspiration for the revolution.
Tumblr media
Caitlyn stepping into the spotlight, and later, her pose, which is a reference to Macbeth. That's her taking on the role of a leader and later struggling with her choices.
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
The problem is, in the actual show, all those concepts are just briefly touched upon and essentially left unfinished, forsaken for the sake of the plot as a whole.
Vi becomes an Enforcers, but we barely see her struggle with that choice. It comes and goes, just like her pitfighter arc, and just like that, we're in act 3, and nothing happened. She has exactly two lines about her internal conflict, not just about being an enforcer, but EVERYTHING. I'm a die-hard Vi fan, so that breaks my heart the most because if you think about it, Vi was never allowed to be her own person. And that's how she remains. She doesn't come out of the arc as a new, changed person with a new identity she's confident in.
Jinx does become a symbol for the revolution, but aside from breaking people out of Stillwater, she does nothing. Her story is mainly connected with Isha, and after she dies, Jinx reverts right back to her broken down from. Instead of leading Zaun to freedom, she leads them to join the war between Piltover and Ambessa, which is not even connected to the Undercity. It's all about Hextech. Zaun's freedom isn't won by revolution, but because Piltover had a change of heart.
Caitlyn becomes a Commander, but we never get a glimpse into her internal conflict. All of that is quickly skimmed over with brief lines. In season 1, Cailtyn was a kind character. Privileged and a bit ignorant to Zaun's issues until she sees them herself, but ultimately, she's a good person. But by the end of season 2, we don't get to see that part of her return. Her values end up not as much being challenged as completely erased. That entire imagery would be a lot more meaningful if we at least got a glimpse of her helping the Undercity instead of claiming crimes can't be undone. We don't get that vital part of her character, which was her kindness and willingness to help back.
All that is not even mentioning how certain parts of the intro weren't even touched. What about Jayce? We see him shielding his eyes from the spotlight, reminiscent of how he steps on the stage during Progress Day in season 1.
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
What could this possibly mean? Him struggling with his identity as the face of progress because all he worked for essentially ended up turning against him? Him struggling with what he did while he was part of the Council? Wrong, he spends most of season 2 in a cave.
At least Mel does end up taking Ambessa's place, even though she's barely in this season, so I'll give them that. Reluctantly.
Tumblr media
Those are mostly my personal complaints because I always care about the characters more than the plot.
