I wish people would not reduce characters down to just their gay ships… it’s honestly the most aggravating things about fandoms, and it’s not just one 😭

I can list several ships off my head that, for some reason, the fandoms (specifically fanfic writers and fanartists??) will just reduce to “gay twinks in love” or whatever trope their relationship is??? that or they give the characters NO individuality?? like looking for art of my favorite character and all I get it is ship art or fanfic of them with their ship and it’s like??? mentioning military days, i'll start the headcanons with them !

a little headcanon before this: in my scp au? whatever , if you want to be a field agent or a MTF agent, military experience is required!

you know how (some) people in the military get nicknames that are usually made to make fun of the person, right? (I HOPE YOU KNOW WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT)

his nickname in the army was probably Ducky LOL (the story: he got distracted by a duck, tried to give it a head pat and someone caught him LOOOOL)

another thing: in the military, you HAVE to shave your face often (moustaches are fine ! ), and simon STILL shaves any facial hair , a habit he took from those days !

I'm exhausted after doing final assignments the whole day while sick. And I'm just haunted by so many ART PLANS and OC SHIT and AAA HELP I'LL EXPLODE

So to just indulge myself a bit, I gonna bring up one of the many things that haunt me:

HER. OC still in development. In part cause there's one thing I'm afraid of doing which is piling Too Much shit onto her narrow shoulders. Criticism and help really appreciated ><

Who is she?? Kanarie, KAER, Catalyst-, Supervision-, Empathy. Gen 6 support bioresonant unit - commonly addressed by her title as Kommissar (Commissary).

What does she do? Well firstly, performs regular inspections of the state of AEON facilities and specifically does check-ups on mental health/persona degradation state of Replikas. Kanarie, in a way similar to Falke, has an aura to her, but not of divinity and authority, but rather of amity and approachability - you can't help but open up to her! She seems so nice, after all! So it's very easy for her to do an assessment by just going around and chatting. She cannot peer into the memories unlike Kolibris, but she has an uncanny ability of understanding exactly what another person feels at any given moment and give a highly accurate judgement of character.

Based on that she compiles a report of recommendations for usually an Adler unit on what to do to about any given Replika. Which ranges from "provide Aras with more flowering plants" to "here's a list of every single unit that needs to be decommissioned and why" - and she doesn't ever flinch about the latter. The opposite really. She's ALWAYS peppy. She's just happy to be doing a good job for the betterment of the Nation! All inefficiencies must be ironed out, they must understand it anf be willing to die for the greater good. She's doing them a favour. Really :)

Her other purpose is being a walking "bioresonance catalyst" - enhancing the efficiency of and also amplifying bioresonance influence. Any and all bioresonant influence, at all times no matter what. Thus if there's any bioresonant hazard, for example - Kanarie is always the first to get hit with it. Being a. You guessed it. Canary in the coalmine.

Kanarie had a very young neural pattern - think something like 18-19 years old. Golden kid, sweet and very smart, but very naive and sheltered, with highly idealistic black and white thinking. Her persona stabilises by helping people and feeling useful - Kanaries are thus allowed to get distracted from their job to go do something else, like for example help a radio station officer.

She used to have another purpose, which was actually something she was originally created for - using her "friendly AoE" to keep people docile. Buuuuuut that didn't... work out due to a very odd issue about her bioresonant abilities:

No matter what, if a Gestalt remains within her general vicinity - think being in the same building - and keeps interacting with her regularly, in this case strictly more than weekly... that Gestalt will inevitably be consumed by either murderous rage towards her and will kill her, or get overwhelmed with primal fear and try to get as far away from her as possible - or kill her in "self-defence" if that fails. Usually leaving lasting psychological damage as a result - cause people affected by it have full memories of WHAT they were doing and what they were thinking whilst being controlled by bioresonant suggestion against their will, creating very strong cognitive dissonance. And ending up traumatized by being forced to brutally murder a defenceless girl.

AEON fucked with universe a bit too hard and accidentally made a Replika that passively tries to destroy herself.

Curiously enough persona-stable Replikas don't get affected by the "fight or flight" aura but persona-degraded do. As a result, if it's a rare case of it genuinely being REALLY hard to actually assess if somebody is persona-degraded or not? Just wait a little 'til a Canary stops singing

Colonello is that strange inhuman creature that fell in love with the government agent lady who watches him. People assume he's from a super soldier program. Like some kind Marvel bs with Winter Soilder or Captain America or the DC version of that, Deathstroke. He's clearly human but also not.

Luce, Aria, and Yuni are 110% the most normal out of all of them, tho. Definitely not decents of a secret race of non humans that existed pre-humans. Nope, those girls are humans 💚

Thinking about my This Day Aria (a.k.a Canterlot Wedding AU) MoShang fic... I need a way to replace "love magic laser beam" at the end. My outline already covers the first two 3/4s of the og plot, and I'm going to remove the part about collecting the elements of harmony because, well, those doesn't exist here. No magic stones to save the day.

Maybe SQH and MBJ kiss, summoning all the ice magic of the North, and freeze OG SQH to death, turning him into an ice statue? Idk if I want to kill him that way, tho...

Deep down, I feel like I want to save OG SQH. His first reaction upon incarnating in a rotting mushroom body in the world of SVSSS was to try to help SQH escape MBJ's claws, thinking he was in the same situation at him pre neck-snapping. I think I've grown fond of the blorbo and if bad, why fren shaped?

The obstacle between me and him not dying is the Airplane itself. Dude is boiling in rage, his husband almost got stolen away with mind control fuckery!! His pepino bro almost died too!!! He wants revenge. He is getting the revenge, admin/god powers and all.

If it's not too much trouble, could you share how you write your first drafts/outlines for your stories/fics?

You seem to have so many fascinating ideas, and you manage to word them in ways that almost seem cinematic and summarize your plots so efficiently. So, as someone struggling to summarize all my ideas into an outline to begin writing my stories, I wanted to ask you if you had any tips on that particular issue?

I will admit that I do have a peculiar work ethic when it comes to typing up outlines for my stories, but I find it's something that helps me more than just typing up a list of bullet points on what happens in a scene. I will also add an example from the current Batfam fic I am working on to better show you what I mean, but first some theory:

When I write a first draft/outline, I write it in the format of a movie script.

Writing outlines in the form of a movie script is incredibly effective because it forces you to focus on showing, not telling, by emphasizing visuals and action.

It tightens dialogue, ensuring every line has impact, while also honing scene structure and pacing. Script format reveals character through behavior and subtext, making emotional undercurrents clear without relying on exposition.

It drives conflict through concise, tension-filled dialogue and helps you create scenes with immediate emotional impact.

By stripping away unnecessary details, scriptwriting makes storytelling efficient, clear, and easy to visualize, naturally sharpening your narrative and maintaining momentum.

As an example, I offer you an outline written like this from a fic that I am currently writing:

EXT. JASON TODD'S APARTMENT - NIGHT

The sky opens up, rain pouring in sheets. TIM DRAKE stands outside a rundown apartment building, shivering as the cold bites at him. His clothes are soaked, clinging uncomfortably to his skin. He takes a deep breath, his body shaking, his eyes locked on the chipped, weathered door in front of him.

The door swings open.

JASON TODD stands there, casually leaning against the frame. A cigarette hangs loosely between his lips, smoke curling up around his face. His emerald green eyes take in Tim’s drenched, disheveled appearance. A beat passes, then Jason blows a cloud of smoke directly into Tim’s face. Tim coughs, looking irritated but unsurprised.

JASON (deadpan) “You look like shit.”

Tim laughs bitterly, tugging at his soaked clothes, trying to pull them away from his skin. The wet fabric clings to him, suffocating. His frustration is evident.

TIM (mutters) “Thanks. Are you gonna let me in?”

Jason smirks, flicking the ash from his cigarette onto the ground, eyes sharp as they study Tim. He leans against the doorframe, casual but predatory.

JASON (mocking) “Let me guess—His Highness finally replaced you?”

Tim barely flinches, but Jason notices. He always notices. Those green eyes catch every small twitch of vulnerability, every crack in Tim’s resolve. Jason grins, and it’s infuriating—like he’s been waiting for this moment.

Jason takes another slow drag of his cigarette, turning his head to exhale away from Tim. His voice drips with sarcastic sympathy.

JASON “Finally threw you away, huh? Gotta make room for the new, shiny model in his collection?”

Tim's shoulders hunch, his face contorting into a mix of hurt and frustration. Jason’s words hit too close to home, and that self-satisfied grin plastered on Jason’s face only makes it worse. The unspoken ‘I told you this would happen’ lingers in the air between them like a challenge.

TIM (hissing through clenched teeth) “Just let me in, asshole.”

Jason flicks his cigarette to the ground, crushing it under his boot. He steps aside, the grin still lingering, but there's a flicker of something else in his eyes—something unspoken.

Tim hesitates for only a moment before stepping inside.

And Cut!

Now, you have a wonderful and imaginative draft to work off of. It does take a bit of getting used to, but thinking of your writing as establishing shots in a movie generally helps with getting into the flow of what you are writing.

His eyes immediately caught onto the harmless praying mantis perched on your cookware silently, seemingly enjoying the drama.

And you did not like cockroaches at all.

You pointed a shaky finger at those wretched creatures and slowly shifted towards your now amused lover, one hand clutching the slipper.

"Luka.. Those disgusting little shits are staring into my eyes again and watching my current situation like it's some shitty ass comedy show. Please. Kill them and get them out of my sight before I break the windows and jump out."

He let out a low and amused laugh, much to your disappointment (he was supposed to sympathize with you why the hell was he laughing!?).

"And here I thought what you said about being a brave independent woman was true. Sigh.. "

The audacity. The fucking audacity.

If looks could kill, he'd be six feet under by now.

He even had the guts to laugh again before gently pecking your cheek ever so sweetly and grabbing the slipper clutched in your hand. As if that was gonna make the blow hurt less.

"Close your eyes love, a brutal murder is about to take place."

He winked at you (to which you responded with a glare) and closed your eyes without any other protest. And in a span of a few minutes, you peeked and you saw not a single trace of the murder that took place.

"There, happy now?"

He walked towards you as if nothing happened, looking at you half annoyed, half terrified face with genuine amusement, and pulled you into his arms, pressing the lightest of kisses on your forehead and jaw.

"Still angry at me for the previous comment, huh?"

You let out a huff, before reluctantly (eagerly) giving in to the warmth of his embrace, wrapping your slender arms around his neck and pressing your nose against his throat.

"..Meanie."

A low rumble of a laugh reverberated in his chest as he gently stroked your hair, basking in the warmth of the sun rays falling on you both through the window.

"Honestly, I think both of them had a great death y'know. They got to watch a free comedy show."

"Fuck you and your stupid ass jokes."

"You know you love them, moonbeam."
