Sooooo... This book thing I’ve been writing is now added to goodreads. (Though not showing up in searches yet, but the direct links work.)

So if you’d like to help a newbie author out, I have free advance reader copies (ARCs) to hand out in exchange for reviews. You can see the blurb in the screenshot below - DM me if you’re interested.

- a character-driven story in a medieval-ish low-fantasy setting; - one Leiander, a transgender aroace main character seeking to transition and just... live his life and maybe bake; - one Kevv’ach, a cinnamon roll Night Demon with partial amnesia who’s a bit of sweet tooth; - steadfast friends turned found family (and occasionally, a pair of mules); - absent gods who left behind mysterious blue monoliths; - strict gender roles dictating what jobs people have, what colors they wear, and what tattoos they get and a couple of fanatics hell-bent on enforcing them; - extensive travel through a plague-ravaged realm (I would brag about awesome fantasy maps here, but they will only be available in the final product, not the ARC); - a conspicuous lack of magic; or swords, or sorcery, or monsters of any sort (don’t call Night Demons monsters, you will hurt Kevv’s feelings) - even more giant statues; - a bunch of recipes to try for yourself, based on Romanian, Austrian, and... wherever cuisine baked goat cheese in walnut crust comes from; - named chapters! seven parts covering the legs of the journey! a pronunciation guide! extensive content warning! handy reference chart for timekeeping! a cameo appearance by my cat! eventually, I promise, a happy end!

When a deadly plague sweeps the land, the priests of the Parents accuse those deemed to have incurred the gods' wrath. Leiander, unmarried and with interests unbecoming to the woman people consider him to be, flees for his life.

With the Night Demon Kevv'ach by his side and his deepest wish undiminished, he journeys to the Great Lith, said to still channel the magic of the Parents. He will beseech the gods to remake his body in the image of the Father, so the world sees him as his true self:

For over ten years, Lei has prayed to the Parents at the blue lith outside his hometown, yet the stone never fulfilled his wish.

When a deadly plague sweeps the land, the priests of the Parents drive people into a religious frenzy to appease the gods. "Leia", as people call him, unmarried and with interests unbecoming to a woman, falls victim to it.

Lei flees for his life with his friend Kevv'ach, a semi-corporeal Night Demon suffering from memory loss.

Hi! I recently read Tash Hearts Tolstoy and, as an ace girl, I really loved it! I was telling my friend and she said that she wished there were books out there for aro people as well. Do you have any recs with sex-positive aro characters?
