Am I the only one who has a few specific friends who I'm really close with and love to be around, and, if they wanted to, I'd be completely down for making our relationship into something different (romantic, queerplatonic, etc.), but at the same time, I don't activity have a crush on them or want to push for a different relationship bc what if they don't feel the same way or don't know what queerplatonic relationships are.

Queerplatonic Relationship: A committed relationship that is primarily platonic and primarily non-romantic. The definition of "committed" is up to the individuals in the relationship, and a relationship is not a QPR unless the people in it decide to use that term. Being an angled-aroace is so weird. Like, I am attracted to people, but like I'm also not. I think I want to date in theory but I don't know about reality. It feels so weird to actually imagine it. It's all just so confusing. I find individual people really attractive in more ways than just aesthetic, but the thought of actually asking them out feels so weird. I don't know anymore.

i love being an aspec lesbian.

my love for women may not be romantic or sexual in nature most of the time, but it’s still there. quiet, but comforting. like an old friend.

it’s soft and gentle. tender, like fairy lights inside a blanket fort. unidentifiable, but warm. affectionate, and nothing more. fingers ran through hair, a hand brushed against a cheek, a bear hug on a bad day. kind gestures and silly remarks. protecting each other in our own way. comfort in companionship.
