#as an example of paraphilia

Wish regular folks on the internet would stop towing the line and continuing to act like furries are some weird, deviant thing nowadays. I’ll be watching Vinny Vinesauce and a hot male furry design will show up in a game and he’ll go ‘oh. Oh god. Oh god chat no. OH GODD WHY. EUGH CHAT STOP. (makes an inhuman noise) WHY ARE HIS TITS SO.’ Like, man, relax. His tits are so because it’s hot, get horny like the rest of us, next question.

[with the caveat that a paraphilia is a disorder only if it involves nonconsent and/or distresses the person]
i’m obviously not qualified to make these decisions, but if i were on the DSM or ICD taskforce I’d suggest completely restructuring the paraphilia section.
currently the section looks like this:
DSM-5-TR:
pedophilia
voyeurism
exhibitionism
frotteurism
masochism
sadism
fetishism (body parts or inanimate objects)
transvestism (crossdressing)
other specified & unspecified paraphilic disorders
ICD-11:
exhibitionism
voyeurism
pedophilia
sadism
frotteurism
other paraphilia involving nonconsent
other paraphilia involving consent or solitary activities that causes distress or risk of harm/death
unspecified paraphilic disorder
as (almost) always i like the ICD set up more.
i think that so many different diagnoses are unnecessary. i would have only 4:
paraphilic disorder involving nonconsent (covers pedophilia, exhibitionism, voyeurism, coercive sadism & frotteurism in the above sections)
paraphilic disorders that cause distress involving consent or solitary activities (e.g. someone who’s distressed at their masochism, or someone who’s distressed at their crossdressing)*
other specified & unspecified paraphilic disorders
and that’s it! clinicians could specify (e.g. the diagnosis could be “paraphilic disorder involving nonconsent, specifically: exhibitionism”).
i don’t think listing out paraphilias is a good thing, especially because so many paraphilias exist. the DSM says that they list those specific 8 paraphilic disorders because “they are relatively common, in relation to other paraphilic disorders, and some of them entail actions for their satisfaction that, because of their noxiousness or potential harm to others, are classed as criminal offenses”. which, fair enough, but all of these can be collapsed into the 4 diagnoses i suggest. and even the other specified diagnosis is probably redundant in my suggestion.
the other way they could do it is by separating the diagnoses into disordered activities & targets. so for example, “paraphilic disorders involving nonconsent” could be separated into nonconsensual behaviours (e.g. exhibitionism) vs targets (individuals who can’t or don’t consent) (e.g. pedophilia). the DSM sorta does this, they say:
“The first group of disorders is based on anomalous activity preferences. These disorders are subdivided into courtship disorders, which resemble distorted components of human courtship behavior (voyeuristic disorder, exhibitionistic disorder, and frotteuristic disorder), and algolagnic disorders, which involve pain and suffering (sexual masochism disorder and sexual sadism disorder). The second group of disorders is based on anomalous target preferences. These disorders include one directed at other humans (pedophilic disorder) and two directed elsewhere (fetishistic disorder and transvestic disorder).”
but again i think that’s overcomplicating things. reducing 8-10 diagnoses into 4, that include a specifier of what the paraphilia is, seems a lot more easy to manage.
* (i don’t think risky sexual behaviour warrants a disorder, especially since the BDSM community teaches practitioners to manage them as safely as possible)

was reading my psychology text reading & my brother came in, asked what I was reading about. I said the the chapter topic was various sexual disorders, he took one look at the list, saw Sexual Masochism Disorder and immediately went, ohhh, so like Saiki’s brother in Saiki k, who gets off when he loses to his brother!

hes completely right, Kuusuke would qualify for this one

You know how a pretty obvious majority of kinksters are submissives? You want to know a big part of the reason why it's hard to find a dom that's into the same hard kink you are?
Ask a hardcore masochist what they think of being whipped.
Then ask a hard sadist what they think of whipping someone.
Do you notice that the sadist/dom will often either dance around an answer or try to use soothing language/euphemism not unlike the way how in many places people are still expected to discuss sex if at all. Gentle, calculated language.
The issue is, especially with a new surge of purity culture overtaking so-called "leftist" online circles, is that fantasy becomes a moral judgement.
Sub with a noncon kink: "I want to be raped" (cnc but like. People can talk ab it how they want don't cancel me fr.)
Response from Normies: "well that's weird and kinda dark but ok"
Dom with a noncon kink: "I want to rape"
Response from Normies: "I'm calling the police and you should kys and you're also a sexual abuser and even though you haven't said anything about kids you're also also a pedophile :)"
Not only does the attitude of murderous hatred against doms/tops with hard kinks/fetishes/paraphilias make it difficult for them to practice those kinks (safely and ethically) out of fear of social backlash if it's ever found out even if both they and their partner[s] had a great time and are fine-- but, it actively puts innocent people in danger by equating thoughts and attractions of ANY KIND to the act of hurting others against their will. It equates fantasy, which can oftentimes be played out safely if in a modified way with real harmful actions.
Also, kink is still illegal in many places, so don't "its illegal" me about harder kinks. Law is not morality, none of us are free until all of us are free, etc. You get the gist.
You want to see more doms? Meet someone who can indulge your "scary badwrong" sexy feelings? Then maybe don't actively promote a culture where you put ANY kind of attraction or kink under fire. It doesn't matter if it'd be unethical to act out in real life. Some of the most common kinks worldwide are unethical as fuck to act out irl, including rape. That's why we have cnc, come on, guys.
You know what? In fact, you SHOULD actively shun people who shame others for their sexual feelings. EVEN if you think it's gross. EVEN if it wouldn't be ethical to act on irl. Let these types know that their puritan ideals are NOT accepted here. Let them know that if they want to go to church they can do that but not in your space, not forcing other (non consenting!) people to listen to their hateful and repressive ideology.
Like, hey, I'm not into ABDL, for example. But I will defend to the death other people's right to be into that. To think and feel whatever they think and feel. You think diapers are sexy? Great! I don't personally see the appeal, but you do you boo. There is no Correct Way to be sex/kink negative. Either you believe in thought crime or you don't.
And yes, this post includes "harmful" paraphilias (I put it in quotes because they're only harmful if acted on), sadomasochism, mutilation fetishism, etc etc. Every "gross" or "evil" kink, fetish, para you can possibly imagine. The stuff that makes you horny is just stuff that makes you horny, and being horny is normal. Being "weird horny" is also normal. No one deserves to experience shame, let alone public harassment or hate over feelings they most of the time don't Choose to have. Be mindful of puritan rhetoric and strike it down when you see it.

Critical to the functioning of society, and often underappreciated in that capacity, are a class of people known as perverts. Now, I do not mean pervert in a strictly sexual sense. I mean this to describe a kind of person who gets disproportionate enjoyment and satisfaction out of a niche interest or specialty. Sexual perverts are of course included in this definition, and are quite useful for a variety of purposes, but nonsexual perverts are about as if not more common.
In almost every field and every realm of life you can find a wide variety of perverts for a wide variety of professional paraphilias. There are, for example, a great many food perverts, ranging from coffee perverts (ex. James Hoffman) to meat perverts (ex. Guga Foods) and beyond. There are programming perverts - I suspect that perhaps a majority of programmers, mathematicians and physicists are some variety of pervert. Engineering perverts are almost certainly critical to the profession, what with your train perverts and beam perverts and so on and so forth. Common among many positions are the warfare and tactics perverts, though they do not always contribute as much to their field directly; see Tom Clancy. STEM, however, pales in comparison to the sheer quantity of arts perverts. There are polyrhythm perverts (ex. Adam Neely), production and noise perverts, phonology and grammar perverts, Early Chinese literature perverts, history perverts, etc. And of course, needless to say, sexual perverts also contribute immensely to the arts.

I never barred myself. (Neville)
Your imagination is truly a gift. Everything is possible in your mind. Your mind is the vessel that holds everything, every seed to every physical action, every experience, memory - it is your whole world. Consciousness is everything. Nothing outside of your consciousness cannot exist to you.
Intrusive thoughts
You have many thoughts throughout the day. You may have thoughts you may call intrusive. These are unwelcome thoughts to you. Maybe you're trying to persist with diligence and then you get these unwelcome thoughts. You might try to force them down, to aggressively shut the door to them. But then you see that this manner of trying to be rid of them with all your might isn't the most effective. The trick is to guide them to the right direction, instead of forcing them.
Your mind is your home. You should feel safe. There are no intruders, there are no others, there is only self.
So, whenever you get an unwanted thought that doesn't align with the physical reality you want to achieve through your mind, all you need to do is remind yourself. Say, I want to affirm the reality of being rich. I've been persisting for a few days, but then I look into my wallet and see emptiness. I instantly get the thought and feeling of "who am I tricking, I have no money, I'm poor". Now, you have three options: a) cling to that feeling, b) bottle that feeling, but let it accumulate back when you don't have the energy to force it down anymore or c) remind yourself that the 3D is only a mirror, only an illusion, and isn't objective reality. The true reality is what is within. Once you remember that you can go back to feeling affluent. You're not being delusional, everything is a feeling anyway. You can acknowledge physically having an empty wallet, but you know that what matters is how you feel as opposed to what you see.
What you're doing is letting yourself have that thought, but just not holding on to it by actively reminding yourself of your imagination being the almighty, as opposed to the physical which is just a mirror. This avoids that feeling coming up again, or at least makes it a more rare occasion.
2. Bottling desires
I also want to talk about desiring. I'm sure you've found yourself in the situation of desiring things you "shouldn't" desire. For example, maybe you've lusted over people you shouldn't lust over, or food you shouldn't eat, or whatever. You've had a desire and then you get the feeling of it being forbidden.
Desires should never be bottled. That's what's called sin in the Bible. Not letting yourself have your desires. However, I think there are instances where your desires should be evaluated. For example, an SP that is unavailable. It's not that you can't erase them them being unavailable, it's just that you should ask yourself why you want that person. Maybe they reflect a subconscious need unmet in yourself and it's not the person you want, but something else.
Another different example would be sexual paraphilias that harm you or other people. I hold the belief that if you desire to hurt someone you're not actually happy. And hurting someone wouldn't make you happier. That's where you also have to evaluate what you actually want.
The Bible speaks of "godly" desires and "ungodly" desires. I would interpret godly as something you truly, really want. A desire you know is pure and coming from the deepest crevices of your heart. And ungodly would be a desire that is not actually align with you. You are mistaken with what you actually want. The ungodly desire reflects the godly desire and you must find it within.

♱ Dance with the Devil ♱
Against my will, I was inspired to write more for WHB. Istg some of these characters aren’t even my biases but their paraphilias are too creative. I hope you all enjoy reading this <3
Characters:: Sitri, Leviathan, Astaroth, Glasyalabolas, Paimon, Amon, Marbas, Gabriel, Minhyeok
Note:: Nsfw, pls take note of each character’s paraphilia before reading, noncon for Gabriel, MH-2 spoilers for Minhyeok, MINORS DNI
Tumblr media
♡ If you like black tea, you are a perfect fit for Sitri. He often brews your favorite drink for the purpose of enjoying your satisfied smile, your bittersweet kisses, the melody of your palpitations as he makes love to you. If you ever send him a recording of your heartbeat, he will save it on his phone and listen to it religiously in your absence. Just don’t be shocked if he uses your gift for impure reasons; his imagination can only do so much.
♡ Leviathan enjoys the sensation of your hands around his neck, but what more if you were to experiment with his kink? Does he get more excited when you use your bare hands? Does he prefer the metal chill of rings or the soft lace of gloves against his skin? Would he come faster if you dig your fingernails into his throat—and if yes, what if your nails were longer, sharper? There are so many factors at play and you have all night to find out~
♡ Astaroth’s kink is perfect for literature lovers!! If you write erotica, he will gladly proofread your work, going so far as to enact the scenes and his suggested revisions. Another time, you asked him to read you a “bedtime story” and he complied after much pestering. He accepted your book and read it aloud in his soothing voice…then upon reaching a raunchy scene, he looked up from the page, met your cheeky gaze, and joined you in bed <3
♡ Once you were done kink-shaming Glasyalabolas, you decided to indulge him. His paraphilia is creepy, to say the least, but you knew what you were getting into. The best method? Play dead. You can’t resist the occasional moan or involuntary shudder, especially when he is touching you, but it certainly does wonders for his arousal. You’re his Ophelia, his Sleeping Beauty—beautiful, voiceless, and completely at his mercy.
♡ The only thing Paimon enjoys more than your blood is the sight of your body decorated with cute bandages!! Once he’s had enough of you, he will treat your wounds and present you with a set of printed Band-Aids. Here, would you like a pink one for your finger? What about a heart pattern for your thigh? A smiley face on your neck? Even better, what if your Band-Aids match the stickers on his horns? Take your pick~
♡ Sometimes, you wonder if Amon gives you tasks which he knows you will fuck up. There are telltale signs—his constant gaze, a hint of a smile, empty reassurances which somehow lead you to his bedroom. It begs the question: How would he react if you were to make a mistake in bed? Would he still smile after you “accidentally” touch a sensitive spot or ruin his orgasm? How will he react once he realizes you’re doing it on purpose?
♡ If Marbas were to cite an example for the term “heaven and hell,” it would be your moments of intimacy. He encourages you to restrain him to the best of your ability—tying complicated knots, using strong materials, testing his new set of regular restraints—then use his body as you’d like. It’s difficult to say who enjoys it more, especially when you are relishing the sight of him beneath you, totally submissive and desperate for your touch.
♡ Considering your history, your sadism towards Gabriel is warranted. So once he is defeated, in a church no less, you waste no time in humiliating him. If he refuses to yield, it only takes a few minutes to bend him over the altar and force him to face the image of his God. How does it feel to be watched by the passive, artificial faces of his creator and fellow angels? At any rate, the stained glass casts such pretty shadows on his defiled body~
♡ Of course Minhyeok knows your underwear preferences. The color, the style, the type of fabric, every detail. So when he finds a black lingerie set in your closet, he recognizes it as a new purchase—but for who? The next thing he knows, he is visualizing the lingerie on you and  calling you for answers. Whether or not he understands your invitation, that specific underwear will frequently disappear from your room.
Sitri fic ๑ Lucifer fluff ๑ More headcanons
Fun fact, a day after I wrote Glasyalabolas and Sitri’s headcanons, they came home in my gacha pull. D-Did I summon them?? (´⊙ω⊙`)
So far, my favorite devils are Leviathan, Sitri, Astaroth, and Satan but the other characters’ paraphilias are…….interesting to write about, to say the least. Cheers to more hornii xD

Not so friendly reminder that creating "dark" or "taboo" fiction can be a sign of childhood trauma!
More below the cut. Warning: long post.
TW: Mentions of trauma, child abuse, and paraphilias
Hi. I'm someone who studies psychology and sociology, and someone who also happens to have an interest in this shipping discourse stuff.
So, back to what I said a few paragraphs ago: Creating "dark" or "taboo" fictional content can be a sign of childhood trauma.
How?
When a child goes through something they consider traumatic, their brain will play the situation on repeat subconsciously, which can cause hypervigilance and symptoms of PTSD.
A common sign of PTSD in young children is that they will reenact their trauma with things like dolls, drawings, figures, and basically any other thing they can use to express their thoughts.
For example, a child who has gone through physical abuse may reenact similar things with their toys, such as making their dolls hit or yell at each other.
This symptom isn't limited to children, though. It is a symptom closely related to the presence of flashbacks and nightmares.
Many artists will create a "self-insert" character, "sona," or a character who is otherwise much like it's creator; when an artist creates a character like this and also has past trauma, their symptoms may reflect onto their character.
Projecting yourself onto characters can happen with other characters as well, even if you didn't make the character.
This is a healthy symptom. It shows that the brain is willing to become stronger from their trauma.
Reenacting trauma in ways that aren't harmful can help the brain process what happened to them, and can even help them deal with their trauma directly.
In order to heal trauma, you must know what your trauma is; you can't heal a wound you don't know you have.
While dark fiction creators are indulging in positive healing mechanisms, certain people will shun them for doing so.
"Antishippers" claim to be the "heroes" and to support healing, even though the thing that makes someone be considered and antishipper is if they're "anti healing through fiction."
Antishippers will throw the same ableist rhetorics around by claiming "if you ship adult x child you're a pedophile!" or "if you have age gap ships (even if both are consenting adults) you're a pedophile!"
This, not only is it hurting trauma survivors (especially those who have been harmed by those with paraphilic disorders), it is hurting EVERY disabled person.
Armchair diagnosis is not something anyone should do.
It is when there is little to no evidence that the condition exists within a person, though people still throw labels onto them to make them seem like they're a "bad guy." (Usually.)
This is also hurting people with actual paraphilias. Paraphilic disorder is real condition characterized by intrusive thoughts of a (usually abnormal or harmful-if-acted-on) sexual nature.
Even if someone claims to not be ableist but still demonizes and villainizes paraphilias, they're ableist.
Ableism is ableism.
And before an anti decides to call me a "pedo-apologist," go right ahead! You don't know what you're saying anyways.
There is a difference between a criminal and a disabled person.
Proship people do not support abuse. Anyone who claims to be proship but still supports abuse is NOT proship.
---
Of course anyone who makes dark content doesn't have to have past trauma.
There are many people who make dark content that don't have what they'd consider trauma, or think their trauma is unrelated to the content they create.
What if they did experience something traumatic in the future?
They'd be able to cope with it better, because they'd seen it in fiction before, so they'd know the impact of it, and how they could handle it.
Of course, not everyone who indulges in fiction will be able to handle it, though.
However, no matter if they have past trauma or not, assume the best when it comes to content creators.
They're creative and strong, and we should be thankful that they're adding onto fandom culture by just existing and doing what they love.
All people, no matter what fictional content they create, are beautiful in their own way and should be met with kindness and compassion.
Do not go out of your way to harass/abuse innocent people.
Do not go out of your way to be ableist towards content creators and content consumers.
---
Thank you for reading my long post, I hope it helped at least a bit.
Have a great day/night and stay safe, no matter your taste in fiction.
Feedback is appreciated, and reblogs are encouraged.

Alright, I’m gonna make a post talking about BIID and how the radqueer community grooms kids into their gross ideas. Warning for mentions of anti-recovery ideas, grooming, childhood trauma, bigotry, and y’know, radqueer shit.
So, I have BIID. This is a disorder where one has the desire to amputate a healthy limb. Without going too much into detail, it is caused by my trauma relating to amputations from when I was a little kid. Now, seeing kids calling themselves “transabled” is horrifying to me. Let me explain;
Currently, there is no known cure for BIID. However, that doesn’t mean one should go through with amputation (or, in some cases, blinding or paralysis). This can cause many, many problems considering one would quite literally be disabling themself. Sometimes, simulating, and, in mine and some other’s cases, drawing, can help ease the discomfort of BIID without the need to disable yourself.
(I also want to add that I do not blame those with BIID who’s discomfort was too much and who went through with disabling themself. It is a disorder, and not everyone has access to things that can help them, nor will anyone fully be “cured” by things made to help them. You are not to blame.)
The transabled community, however, actively encourages this, as well as actively discourages seeking help. They claim people advocating to not disable yourself are “basically transphobic”. You can even find posts mocking those struggling with BIID.
Tumblr media
And it doesn’t just stop at amputation.
This community also believes that one can “transition” into mental disabilities, and gives tips on how to give yourself these disabilities. Just scrolling through the “transabled” tag you can find people giving “advice” on how to get or act like you have these things.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So, let’s say you’re a kid with BIID. You find this community of people mocking those who are looking to recover, and are encouraging and even praising your disorder. Well, it doesn’t stop there. Let’s say you decide that you’re “transabled” and look into the community. And now, you find that not only do they discourage recovery for things like BIID, they also discourage recovery for harmful paraphilias.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Not only are they ‘pro-contact’ for things like actual pedophilia, they also promote the idea that minors being attracted to adults (a normal thing, btw) is actually being an AAM (adult attracted minor) and also believe that these minors should seek out adults. I can’t show screenshots because looking up “AAM” on Tumblr would put me on a watchlist. That’s how bad it is. I do, however, have examples of radqueers ENCOURAGING minor/adult relationships.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So, boom, you’ve got the perfect recipe for grooming. And, oh, did I mention the “transrapist” and “transnazi” stuff? Because yea, that exists too.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I could go on and on about how awful this community is. It blatantly manages to capture every sort of bigotry imaginable all while grooming kids and pretending it’s the most inclusive community on Earth.
Be aware.

A lot of the arguments we see other anti-radqueers use against RQs are TERF rhetoric (i.e. "You wouldn't understand what it's like to be born as [X]," "Biologically you're not [X] and lying that you are is immoral," etc.) I wish to raise alternative arguments one can use that aren't TERF rhetoric that still work and arguments to convince radqueers that they don't need to be apart of that community (because remember, the goal isn't "extermination" — it's education!!!)
Transitioning to another race is literally impossible. This one isn't even the TERF argument of "You'll always be a man/woman!! >:(" because hormonally, physically and socially — one CAN transition to another gender. This isn't possible with race. The biology that determines what race you are can't be changed like how one's gender can.
You cannot and will not experience the culture the same as someone who was born into it/raised into it would (nor would you experience disconnect in the same way!) The only man or woman "culture" that's present in society is the one that's forced onto them. Ethnic cultures are much more nuanced and stem from centuries of tradition, and while you can argue that that's the same for "man culture" or "woman culture," that's different depending on the society too. Plus, if you're just generally 'transitioning' to "transblack" or "transjapanese," for example, what exactly are you transitioning to? Different people in different areas will have different cultures with their only link being their ethnicity/race. Are you transitioning based off of stereotypes? Or how you 'think' a black person should look? What about people who differ from that? What about the large culture differences even between people in the same country? What then?
For those who are transage and attempting to 'transition' — age regression exists. Get a caregiver, or if you don't trust anyone else to, be your own caregiver! Age regression isn't just to ages 1-9, you can regress to your teenage years! Tips for age regression and age dysphoria exist that DON'T involve lying about your age.
Those with BIID who identify as transdisabled, amputations and disabling yourself are an option. Getting therapy is an option, but disabling oneself is the last choice. There are ways to deal with your dysphoria, there's medication too if that's the route you wanna take. But you don't need to be apart of a community that actively supports groomers, racism, pro-contact paraphiles, or any of that shit to ease your dysphoria.
Transspecies. Do I even need to say it? There are people who are transspecies and have transitioned. It was a nonhuman term at heart, not a radqueer term. There are tips and ways to ease your dysphoria as well that don't include being apart of the radqueer community. Unless you're using your 'identity' as a transspecies being to act on your paraphilias, the otherkin, therian, alterhuman and nonhuman communities will welcome you with open arms!
If anyone else has alternative (non-TERF rhetoric) arguments that the community can (and should) start using more, please add on in the reblogs!

I have thoughts on Orias' paraphilia! (TW: mentions of CSA)
First things first, I wanna say that he is not a predator, his paraphilia is self-directed (auto)
So my first thought when seeing his paraphilia (after being ummm very surprised) was that it might not be sexual. Technically speaking, paraphilias don't necessarily have to be sexual, and some of the other whb characters seem to have non-sexual paraphilias. (For example: when Michael kills, it doesn't seem to be sexual for him despite it being his paraphilia.) And in Orias' description, it directly says that he's obsessed with looking 20, so his paraphilia could just be a reference to that.
If it is sexual- again, it could either be him wanting to look and be treated like a 20 year old OR it could be actual age play. Personally I have ehhh mixed feelings about age play, but I do understand it makes a lot of people uncomfortable (myself included.) I think that if pretty busy did go to the full age play route, it would be better received if they went into WHY he has that paraphilia. I know that autopedophila is common among men who experienced CSA and Leviathan said that he saw this happening when he was captured and probably had it happen to himself, so clearly WHB isn't afraid to go there. In all, I think it would be good to tell why because otherwise it could come across as just edgy without real substance.
I actually do hope that WHB goes into how CSA can cause these types of kinks, because there's a theme of sexual guilt in this game, I feel like that could like really add to the theme of not feeling guilty for sexual desires. As someone with sexual trama, guilt surrounding it and the feelings that come with that, it would be nice to watch a character go through something similar.
I think the absolute worst way they could handle his paraphilia would be by making him use his powers to look like an actual young child. I doubt Prettybusy would do something like that but yeah...
Also please don't get mad at others for not being desensitized to this kind of stuff. I get that it's not exactly surprising since there are other extreme kinks in WHB, but that doesn't necessarily mean people aren't allowed to be upset/triggered by them.

The way the law has classified and globalized paraphilias as crimes, even though its real name has no connection with paraphilia disgusts me (like pedophilia, for example, is not the real name of the crime but "rape of vulnerable").
Now every criminal is labeled a paraphile when they don't even have this disorder, just because the law calls them that.
They could do the basics and at least explain what paraphilias are and why they are not serious crimes but rather mental disorders of sexual compulsion, and abandon this idea of calling every paraphile a criminal.
I mean, it's my opinion and if someone is able to explain the opposite WITHOUT FIGHTING, we will be available and in favor.

coin fight 2023!
what is coin fight?
have you ever heard of art fight? it's like that, but for liom/mogai!
there is 2 teams (sun and moon for this year), and you 'attack' a member of the opposite team by coining things you think they'd like :D
this is made completely for fun, and has no rewards besides some "I was in the winning team" graphics (userboxes, blinkies, etc.)
the event will start on 9/20 and will last a week, with an exception being if it's still active after 1 week.
instructions:
make an entry here!
make a section on your pinned post (or an easily accessible rentry page) with your team and what you associate with your identity (make it as vague or specific as you need, doesnt need to be gender exclusive)
reblog the associated team post (sun) (moon) so people who check the reblogs of that post looking for people to attack can find you!
find a person to attack and coin things you think they will like! tag the person you're attacking and me (kiruliom), and tag #2023coinfight. also it would be really nice if you could tell us the approximation of your points (eg. it's a 5th link on a friendly fire revenge chain? please tell us its 7 points. ( 5 base, 2 points deducted for friendly fire, 5th link means 4th revenge, so +4)) this makes my job a lot easier.
rules:
if you fail to follow the instructions above you will be reached out to, or if you need help just tell me!
please check if you fit the DNI of the person you'd like to attack, or if THEY fit YOUR DNI. to avoid awkward situations.
all flags and terms made will have a 5 point base value. for every new 'link' on a revenge chain it will have 1 more point added to it. non-gender terms get 2 more points added to them, to encourage non-gender coinings
the terms coined dont need to be unique, just need to have unique flags. you can make an alternative bigender flag for example and it'd count as valid for points. however you cant submit flags made outside of the event time, this is more of a trust thing though as I cant tell for sure whether the flag was made before the event or not lol
there is a 3 attack per day rule, to avoid spamming. any more attacks submitted for the day will be rendered null, meaning no more points will be added for that day, this includes revenges. attacks are counted by amount of terms and not the amount of posts.
coining non-disordered paraphilia, MUD, oculoid or transid terms will render those attacks null, which means you wont earn points for them. transpecies is the exception to this as it's an alterhuman term and not a transid term.
friendly fire (attacking someone of the same team), is allowed. however 2 points will be deducted. this is to encourage a "team rivalry" more.
you can only attack 1 user at a time.
please dont take advantage of my awful memory and math skills and cheat, this is supposed to be for fun and you need to do your part for that, yeah?
re-elaborating the point system so it's in one place:
base term (say, a gender made for someone of the opposite team) = 5 pts
friendly fire (attacking someone of the same team) = -2 pts off total
revenge (attacking someone back)= +1 point per link on chain, starting from 2nd link/'first revenge'
non-gender terms = +2 points
sorry it's so messy, this is the first time Ive hosted an event that needs heavy moderation like this. I hope to figure this out via suggestions and trial-and-error.
