Great question! Pretty similar, but there are definitely differences.

Generally the rule is that the verb comes second. The second word class / word part like in Norwegian class we used the terms "verbal" "subject" etc, so "blue horseshoe" is one part, but "I" and "am" are two parts. (source: lifeinnorway).

For statements you have: SVO - subject verb object. I have a bottle of water / jeg har en vannflaske. This is the same as English

for questions you have: VSO - verb subject object. Sleep you well? / sover du godt?. This is different to english.

You have some freedom:

statement: Jeg kjenner henne / I know her. -> Henne kjenner jeg / Her know I.

statement: Last year was I depressed. / I fjor var jeg deprimert. -> I was depressed last year / Jeg var deprimert i fjor

As the local scam buster, I once again state that not every Palestinian gfm is a scam and most of them are verified as legit. Unfortunately, some may not trust the verification process or trust verification and that’s fine. They are allowed to think what they want to, sometimes you can’t change that. But sometimes they’re just rude and assume all of them are scams on the spot which is wrong. I suggest checking notes of the posts or looking up the gfm link in a document that shows verified fundraisers. Searching urls may help as well.

However, there is at least one GFM out there that was verified but has something odd that may have been overlooked. The account, yousef-falestine, used images in their post that belonged to someone else’s fundraiser. When messaged about it, they blocked the asker instead of explaining why it was used.

so, fun fact, I've been following this blog for months. ive read exactly one (1) fic on AO3 ever in my life, though ive started reading one (1) additional one but never made it all the way through. every poll i vote on is "no, and I'm not in the fandom" except for once in a blue moon when i vote "no, but I'm in the fandom".

i want to be clear I'm having an absolutely delightful time though. this blog is great. i wish i read more fanfics but i am truly so picky about what i read (maybe it's an ADHD thing??) because i lose attention super fast. so even though i never really read the recommendations here i still feel like im living vicariously through all these people thriving in their fandoms.

Just a heads up to my followers and anyone else, this account blocked me when I requested them to provide evidence that their a real person needing support. Instead of answering my concern and replying to a link that brought up suspicions, they opted to start spamming asks to my mutuals/followers in efforts to try and get them to share the aid post. This is clear proof they don’t intent to prove their a real person needing aid and are just spamming asks to everyone they can find instead of proving they actually need support.

I do not want people to be scammed because a blogger decided to spam my friends askboxes. If you got this ask, I also suggest you to ask the person for proof their legit or block them before they can spam your followers/people you shared from. It’s sickening they likely stole someone’s real fundraiser pictures to pass off as their own ill daughter.

This is exactly the reason why I try to tell people please don’t spam asks to get support. There are scammers who do the same thing and don’t like it when public concern is brought up. The email they give is linked to a suspended twitter account that was sending the same message but had an entirely different pic.

UPDATE!

New url is jacrstuff. Their trying to avoid my alert now which further proves their not legitimate. No one needing aid would change urls like this.

Additionally, if you search their email provided in their post, it shows up with a suspended twitter account using the photograph of a white adult woman with a child while the asker claims to be a black adult woman with a child. My plan is, should there be a campaign 4 set in Exandria in the near future, to watch with the same high standards with which I came into Campaign 3. Frankly, and I say this as someone who prefers Vox Machina and the Mighty Nein to Bells Hells and loves their appearances in Campaign 3 from the perspective of “hey look it’s my guys!”, I think the focus on bringing in past PCs was one of the many flaws of Campaign 3 that I hope is not repeated in a future campaign. So really, I’ll be looking for the things I liked about past campaigns (close ties to the setting, a unique story, interesting character dynamics, thoughtfully crafted characters with convictions and motivations) as well as keeping an eye out for the earlier cracks in C3 (weird pacing, over-reliance on past campaigns).

With that said I also like…look. I feel this is one of those statements that feels a little condescending to say, but I think if I don’t say it people won’t realize it, so: Bells Hells aren’t real. I do not care if they are punished. I care if the story surrounding them is good enough to make me care about them as characters, and ultimately, it wasn’t (it was for a while or at least it was early enough for me to extend patience; over time I felt myself growing less and less invested in them, was the thing, and I suspect that’s why a lot of people are treating this campaign as a betrayal rather than just Not Very Good For Various Reasons, because they also once liked these characters and found themselves detaching over time.)

The reason I wanted Liliana killed was because I felt it would be a much more interesting narrative for Imogen if she was; the reason I wanted Ashton to die is because it would have made a satisfying and heartbreaking sacrifice after spending so much time talking a big game about caring about the world while fantasizing about an idealized past that never existed; the reason I find bringing back Vax unsatisfying is because it undercuts a very meaningful story about devotion and loss that I liked very much; the reason I want Ludinus to die is frankly because leaving him alive at this point is just boring and a worrisome loose thread in-world that makes no sense a choice; and so on. I am not advocating for morality tales to scare 19th century German children nor am I enforcing the Hays code. This is not a case of “Evil Must Be Punished And Good Rewarded”; it’s “I’d like if, when a character made a choice that was heavily signaled to be sacrificial, a sacrifice occurred instead of a boring-ass cop-out.”

However, given that these things happened, I think it’s a waste of time to want future works to go back and change them (except for maybe having some people hunt down Ludinus, which frankly was set up anyway with Caleb’s ending) I literally do not care what happens to most of Bells Hells at this point. The main story is over and it wasn’t very good, and punishing the pretend Bells Hells will just draw out the disappointment. I would prefer we simply not focus on what happens to them in the future in a Campaign 4 set in near-future Exandria, rather than waste our time on some kind of fix-it fic for Campaign 3. I’d like a new set of characters with new challenges to fall in love with, as I did for Vox Machina and the Mighty Nein. If that doesn’t seem to be the case, we’ll see if I keep watching; but I think a lot of people who didn’t like Campaign 3 would be much happier if they stopped fixating on the ultimate fates of Bells Hells and realized they are upset because they felt like they should care about these characters and they didn’t, and to look forward to a new story with new characters.

you'll have to go to "edit html" when customizing your theme and look for your ask box code. it will probably be under {block:answer}—mine looks like this:

i just changed it to say bb choco {Asker} sent: instead! so now, when someone sends me a Q, it will either say "bb choco anonymous sent" or "bb choco [username] sent" :)

as for the bt21 background, this will depend on the css styling your theme has for the question box. it will usually say something like .question or .ask or .ask-box or something else along those lines. mine is .question (take note that this has to match with the <div class="question"> in the code above. i.e. if your div class says "ask-box," the styling should also say .ask-box).

anyway, under that styling, put in the following:

background-image:url('IMAGE URL');

where IMAGE URL is the link to the image you want as your background, in my case, the bt21 characters. you'll also want to set a background color if your image is transparent. mine looks like this:

Long time fan 1st time asker here, what does the new url mean?

Hi! Lovely to hear from you again.

Essentially, when I first made my account I was in my preteens, and I was a very different person then. Both the old and new urls are just versions of an OC (You know, that one OC you've had since you were a kid that you just keep making changes to?).

Since the character and I are so different, it just felt right to make the shift on the account. Seeing the old url whenever I reblogged something was a little like seeing shed skin on the floor of a terrarium. Plus all the embarrassing preteen memories.

Hi! Can you please provide me with images providing your legitimacy? If I recall correctly, you sent someone a money request claiming they had donated to you once before but they never had which makes it sound like you will go as far as lying to people to get money off them.

Also! I know you sent this ask because I shared a popular post which means you are also spamming this ask to everyone you see sharing it which makes me further doubt your a legitimate person needing aid.

If you read my pinned post, I’m currently financially having problems supporting myself so you really thought asking me this would make me feel pity if your actually just a scammer targeting people who share popular posts.
