I am humbly crawling to your page to confess my latest obsession: serial breeder!Joel.
no outbreak!universe Joel without Sarah, an old creep who lives in a lone house where every woman goes to get bred.
basement breeder
joel miller x f!reader, 1k words
Ty for this delicious thot. Almost sounds like you know who 🍃 in another life where he has them coming and going at all hours as gossip says. Standalone. WARNINGS: 18+ PWP imagine, break-in, manhandling, breeding piv, degradation, praise, mating press, carries you, pet names.
Imagine going there to get bred while you're consciously on birth control, and he gets obsessed with impregnating you specifically. You show him a positive fertility test, and he gets more aggressive. God damn, he's gonna make this work. Meanwhile, you don't seek him out the next time you (would) ovulate, and he notices, wonders if you're giving up or letting some other guy take a shot. That ain't gonna fly. . .
He quietly breaks into your dim basement while you're folding laundry on your dryer, wearing earbuds. From behind, a hand clamps over the lower half of your face. You scream into his massive palm while his other arm wraps around you, biceps bulging, stretching his white tee. He pins you against the dryer, and the warm, hard shape you feel through his pj pants sends a rush of need to your core.
With you pinned there by his clothed arousal, the arm around you falls away. His free hand brushes the shell of your ear then nudges your earbud out. He reaches to repeat this on the other side, then wraps his arm around you again and gives your breast a squeeze. He brings his mouth close to your ear, and his voice is deep and low. "Stayin' home like it ain't the most important day'a the month."
Oooh, is he mad? God, he's hot like this.
When you struggle, he adds, "Or *did ya* stay home? ... You some kinda cumslut now?"
You subtly shake your head 'no', with your nostrils brushing against the edge of his hand.
"Nah," his hips push forward, "you want this cum," he grinds.
You go quiet and relax your body. He thrusts against you at a slow rhythm, and you're getting wet. A little "Mm?" slips from your lips into his palm.
"Yeahh, that's right," he continues, "Want it bad, don't ya, pumpkin?"
"Mm," you just barely nod.
"Good girl," he says and takes his hand away from your mouth.
You clear your throat. "I was just tired."
"Tired," he laughs. "That's a good one."
He's normally good about foreplay--with you, at least - your body and your scent turns him on so bad. His hands are incredible, and he touches you just how you like it. He's even been known to bury his face between your legs. But this time, he's fully on a mission.
He hikes up your skirt and pulls your panties aside, then spits on his hand and pats the saliva between your legs.
"Ooh," he reacts to your warm, wet cunt against his lingering hand. "Didn't needa do all that, did i? Shit, you're always ready for me." He tugs down his pj pants, then his warm, smooth cockhead prods at your cunt, smearing precum into his saliva and your desire. You bend forward and rest your forearms on the clean laundry abandoned in front of you, then scoot your feet back to give him a better angle.
"Good girl," he whispers.
He buries his length in you with a groan, and your insides spread around his girth. "I'll knock ya'up, baby." He holds your waist, and with a punch of his cock he bottoms out, "Ahh." When he withdraws a few inches, you spread your feet, tilt your hips, and push back on him. "Hell yeah." He bottoms out again, then grabs your hips with both hands and pounds you.
He's on a mission - he's not trying to make it last. And he's been aching hard ever since he got it in his mind to do this. He was palming himself over his pants for relief as he walked up to your basement door.
He's giving it to you hard and stiff, weeping precum into your poor stretched hole with every powerful thrust. "Yeah, take it, baby," he breathes, and promises, "put a baby in ya," making you twitch and throb, close to bliss. When he picks up the pace, pummeling you near jackhammer speed, his words are broken by his rhythm, "ahhh, yeahhh--- cum on this cock." When you whine he says, "yeahhh, you want this cum," and you see stars.
You unravel and moan his name, feeling your face heat up after it slips out.
"Fuck yeah," he breathes, pounding you through it.
He abruptly pulls out, and you whimper at the loss. You start to protest, but he takes your panties all the way down, leaving your twitching pussy bare. He forces you around to face him, then bends his knees and you put your arms around him as he lifts you. You wrap your legs around him, and he sinks you onto his stiff cock, letting out a grunt as he bottoms out. After adjusting your weight, he walks you to your nearby bed. With each step, your clit rubs against him.
He lays you down and folds you into a mating press. His thrusts are hard and deep. "ungh," he grunts, "yeah," another thrust, "ohh fuck, " he bottoms out and throbs, warmth gushing into your depths. "God damn, baby." With another hot burst, he deepens the mating press, determined for his seed to take. Your thighs feel a deep stretch. He hovers over your face, and a drop of sweat hits your cheek.
Breathing heavily, he inches back then thrusts forward again, repeating this action a few times as his balls empty. The last thrust ends with a sigh. With his work done–for now–he stays inside and keeps you in the mating press. He wets his lips, admiring your face. “God damn, you look hot like this.”
"yeah?" You reply.
Nodding slowly, he dips his head and scans your body with hungry eyes. He can't help but pull his hips back an inch to admire the sight of your cunt spread around his fat cock. And God damn, what a sight. Not planning on pulling out any time soon, he fully sheathes himself with a low, soft grunt.
"shit, I oughta clear my schedule," he muses, glancing up from where your bodies are joined. He subtly nods and shifts his eyes around as though thinking it over, rocking his hips absent-mindedly. "Yeah," he concludes, "if this don't take ... take ya to my place 'til it does."

[11:57 am]
(cw: f!reader, profanity, mentions of sex and other heated scenarios, spin off of this)
Realistically, the last thing you'd expected from a Halloween make out with your best friend, fratboy!Haechan, was a friends with benefits situation. Especially after you both confessed your feelings for each other. You didn't feel like you should be the one to initiate the conversation about being official either. Like, hello?! You'd been the one to start the actual physical intimacy! You weren't the type of girl to go around and make out with just anyone!
You figured you were at least a little bit, the very slightest bit, also guilty for how long this... arrangement was going on. Could you really help it when he was just so eager to be affectionate? You were weak to his whining and begging. Your excuses for coming over to play video games or study weren't even actually believable anymore. Really, it was more like you were trying to convince yourself.
And that was the reason today. When you'd ducked upstairs without so much as a "hi" sent to the guys that were downstairs. An hour later when you both emerged from his room with swollen lips, wrinkled clothes, and messy hair, it became very obvious that no studying was going on at all.
Not that any of the guys ever believed it anyway. Sure, there was no shame behind closed doors. They guys know there's no shame. At all. You two passionate freaks are never quiet. Never. Even in front of them, Haechan never shies away from incessantly flirting or kissing you. So yeah, those excuses are really just for you.
Now though, you're leaned against the kitchen island, snacking on some chips and sipping on water after a very long and heated session of... whatever it was that happened in Haechan's room. To be honest, the second his lips touched your own, your brain melted and your sole purpose became to follow wherever he led you.
He was glued to your back, body pressed closely against your own as he slumped against you and blinked slowly, opening his mouth for you to feed him with a soft, "ahh" right in your ear when he wanted more. When his mouth wasn't busy with chewing, he was pressing soft, wet kisses on the side of your neck shamelessly.
"What the hell is going on in here?" You hear someone ask.
Slowly, probably because your mind isn't working to its full ability yet, you turn your head to find Johnny standing in the doorway with a look of disgust. You pop another chip between your lips before very casually asking, "we're snacking. Do you want some?"
"Yeah, he's snacking on your neck right now. I'm so confused right now," Johnny sighs with a shake of his head. He walks over to the fridge and gets himself his own water before leaning on the opposite end of the counter with a scrutinous gaze. He shakes a pointed finger between you and Haechan, "so what is this?"
Haechan gently sinks his teeth into the slope of your shoulder to draw a shiver from you before pulling away with an annoyed sigh, "bro, can my smoking hot girlfriend and I get some peace or are you going to stand there and judge like a freak?"
Your brain finally starts to catch up right then and it shows on your face as your brows furrow with confusion, "I'm not your girlfriend."
Haechan freezes, turning your body so you can meet his confused gaze. "Uhhh yes you are, that's why we just had sex in my room," Haechan points out.
"You never asked me to be your girlfriend!" You argue.
"So what happened on Halloween when we made out in my room? I told you I liked you and had a crush on you since I first saw you so what the hell was that to you then?"
"That was you telling me you liked me and me showing you I liked you too, but you have never asked me to be your girlfriend!"
"Was that not implied?! We literally make out, we have sex, we go on dates. I send you pictures of be in the shower-"
Johnny chokes on his water, "oh, gross dude."
Haechan's scream of, "why are you still here?" overlaps your voice as you explain, "he sends me selfies of his shampoo mohawk."
Johnny can only laugh to himself as he leaves the kitchen. Haechan is left to cup your cheeks with a grip that expresses his absolute desperation, "are you doing this with other people? Please say no."
"No!" you exclaim, "are you?"
"I thought you were my girlfriend, I'm not a cheater, so no. I'm not doing what we do with anyone else," Haechan tells you exasperatedly.
"So in your head, we've been dating for like two months now?" You ask, leaning into his hold to rest your head against his chest.
"Well, no, in my head we've been dating since we first met. I've been telling everyone that we've been dating for two months, yeah," you feel him nod.
"Are you going to ask me now then?" you drawl out, looking up at him to meet his eyes.
He groans playfully before leaning down so his forehead is pressed against yours, "will you be my girlfriend?"
"Yes!" You exclaim excitedly.
"Even though you basically already were. Geez, woman, you're a spoiled girl."

Part 1 Part 2
Part 3 of Simon 'Ghost' Riley x Military!Reader
Simon stared at his phone in a bit of shock. He wasn't stupid, but now he was second-guessing that. He was putting pieces together in his mind while his phone buzzed over and over with calls from Price. How could his sweet little bird lie to him? Why would she even lie about this?
Things started to make sense now. The constant "business trips", you knowing how to shoot a gun (multiple in fact, but he didn't know that), and the slip of the tongue when you would respond to and/or understand military jargon. All of those things made Simon believe you were Grasshopper, and right now he needed to see you. He got dressed in his casual clothes, an army green shirt, black sweat pants, and a black surgical mask to match. He snuck out of his room and quietly walked as fast as he could to the infirmary. He couldn't believe you never told him about what you really do for work, but he also understood why you would keep it a secret. He knew it all too well. The worry, the agony of not knowing if you would come home alive at the very least, the thought of possibly putting those you love in danger. He knew those thoughts, hell he's had them ever since you two started dating. He needed to hear those words from you though.
You sat in your bed. You were glad to be in somewhat familiar territory and you didn't have to wear that stupid mask anymore. The infirmary was nice, but void of anything lively to say the least. Your recovery was going quite well. There were even discussions of you getting to go home in a couple days. With all of the good news surrounding your recovery you were drowning in the thought of having to confess to Simon about everything. You've talked yourself up, gaining confidence and finding the words you wanted to say for when you would see Simon again. Suddenly, a faint knock on your door pulled you out of your thoughts. A young nurse carefully walked in and closed the door. "Sergeant (Y/L/N) there's a Lieutenant Riley here to see you. Would you like for me to send him in?" The nurse asked almost in a whisper even though you were wide awake. You nodded your head, "Let him come in."
When Simon walked in his eyes scanned your form. You looked so different in a hospital gown. So fragile that if you even attempted to get out of bed you'd break. He didn't say a word as he sat down beside your bed, his eyes still on you. After a brief moment of looking at each other in pure silence, you spoke up. "Simon, I'm sorry I never told you. I was worried about how you would take it. I wanted to have both my job and you. I didn't want you to worry about me or make me change my career because it didn't fit your perception of me." Before you could continue Simon cut you off with a chuckle. "Love, I don't want none of that. I get why you did it. I get why you kept it from me, but don't think I didn't worry. I do gotta say though, you had me fooled in the beginning." You looked at him in suprise. "Wait really? How? I felt like I had the most ridiculous mask covering my face. My jokes with the guys weren't funny. I was almost useless the entire time. I felt so out of place." You explained. Simon shook his head. "No love, you are an entirely different person at work than you are at home. You were bold, confident, you spoke your mind when need be, and let's not forget the stress ball. I didn't know you kept little things like that with you, but you did and it came in handy. You were incredible out there darlin'. So what, you took a bullet? You were lucky and quick enough on your feet that that's the only wound you suffered the entire time we were gone." You blushed at his words and then he leaned closer. "I'm lucky to call you my girlfriend. Wanna know why?" You smile and nod your head. "Because I have the most gorgeous and badass woman I've ever had the pleasure of knowing." Your heart swelled at his words. Simon was never the affectionate type, and you didn't mind. But this? This was a whole different side of him you've never really seen all too often. "You wanna know something else?" He said. You giggled, "What baby?"
"Before I knew you were my girl under the mask. I fell for Grasshopper pretty hard. I gotta say she was pretty irresistable. Hard not to think of her bossing me around if she was rightfully mad." His confession had you a laughing mess. "So what are you saying? You liked Grasshopper more than me? Your precious little doll?" You chuckled. "No love, it just means I fell in love with a new side of you. To me, it felt like falling in love all over again with you." Simon whisperd.
The rest of the night was spent with you two telling each other about your military stories. The good, the bad, and the awesome stories were all laid bare to each other in the silence of your infirmary room. Simon even cuddled with you on the hard bed for the remainder of the evening. When the sun rose, you were greeted by a firm knock at the door as the doctor stepped in. Simon quickly got out of bed and sat back in the chair beside you, listening intently on what the doctor said about your recovery. You were going to need some time to rest at home. No strenuous activities or heavy lifting. The doctor handed you the discharge papers and you signed them eagerly. Simon waited for you outside of the room while you gathered all your things.
But then he noticed Price, Johnny, and Kyle at the front desk. He could only assume they were there to see you on your way out.
"Bloody hell." Simon cursed under his breath.

What about a sub!villain who tries to play the part of the suave, dominant villain cause they’re afraid of vulnerability… and an actually dominant hero who sees through it and flips the script. Could it also be spicy please?
Also, your writing is amazing and it makes my day better! Thank you so much for sharing it! I send you hugs!
"You may think you're deceptive. But you are not." The end of the villain's dagger nearly buried its way into their own skin. Although the villain couldn't recall when the hero had gotten a hold of it during the fight, they were quite pleased with the result. (The result being the hero on top of them, still panting from the fight.) "Your effort is quite delightful, though."
The villain cracked a smile.
"Oh, you want to ravage me so bad..."
"Your imagination doesn't even come close to how bad I truly want that," the hero answered.
There was something in their presence that stirred the villain in an exciting way. Was it their body? Their personality? Their morals and their desires? Usually, the villain considered themselves to be talented when it came to reading people and analyzing the relationships they had with them.
For better or worse, it was different with the hero. More confusing. More dangerous.
At this point, the villain was playing with fire - they didn't know exactly what their relationship with the hero was nor where they stood.
"I loathe you for being my only weakness." The hero let the blade dig into the villain's chin until they looked up. "And destroying you would probably bring me some peace."
"Oh." The villain had never heard such a blunt statement coming from the hero. At least not something this personal and...open. It nearly made the villain sick to their stomach how casually the hero had mentioned it.
Slowly, the hand which wasn't holding onto the dagger travelled up the villain's arm until those cursed fingertips found a shaking wrist and grabbed it.
"But what am I without you? What is Orpheus without his muse?"
"You're so charming today..." The villain tried to sound as flirty as they could but their voice was inexplicably trembling.
When had the hero decided to be so horrible and seduce the villain? And why on earth was it working?
"How does that make you feel?" the hero asked, their voice nothing more than a whisper. They freed their index finger from their grip around the villain's wrist and slowly, agonizingly, let it travel upwards. The villain took in a sharp breath, surprised by the hero's actions.
It felt a little too intimate. Nearly immoral.
The villain felt quite stupid for blushing, after all, it was just the hero's finger rubbing against their palm and their breath on the villain's neck.
"I'm..." The villain tried to concentrate but it wasn't that easy anymore. They closed their eyes, close to defeat already. "Sorry, what do you mean?"
Did the hero have to level their weight on the villain's hips? Did they have to say these things? Startle the villain like that? Couldn't they just flirt, try to kill each other and go home after?
Did the hero have to whisper something this close to a confession into the villain's ear?
"How does it feel to be my only weakness?" the hero murmured. Their grip loosened and slowly, their hand began their conquest towards the villain's fingers. "How does it feel to mean so much to me? To occupy my thoughts during the day? And my dreams during the night?"
Hell, the hero was dreaming about them?
"What are you doing...?" Suddenly, the hero let their fingers entwine, squeezing gently and for whatever reason, the villain took in a quick breath.
"I believe we both know you crave a superficial relationship. Something that makes you feel superior and secure. But I can tell you from personal experience that those relationships don't work out in the long run. They will make you feel miserable. They will make you feel worthless. If I want you, I will want you bare. And there is nothing I desire more." Their lips were close to the villain's. "In your own time, of course. You strip. Figuratively and literally, obviously."
"I- You-"
"I am always willing to help, though." The hero smirked lazily and squeezed the villain's hand. "There is no reason to feel ashamed. Or to feel weak. After all, you have me in your hand."
The villain couldn't say anything.
It had started as a normal fight. With the usual flirting.
And now, the villain was actually thinking about opening up to someone. To talk about all their horrible fears and the self-doubt. About all their mistakes and regrets.
This had to be some new weapon or master plan to turn the villain into a good person. Whatever it was, the villain feared they would think about this encounter for the months to come.
"I will keep this, though," the hero announced. They held up the villain's dagger and pushed themselves off the villain. "Everyone needs a memento of their beloved, don't they?"
All the villain could do was stare as the hero blew them a kiss and vanished into the night.

Hiya! I absolutely loved your posts about the HH main cast dealing with a sick reader and them being sick. You did a phenomenal job with them!
As for a request, what about Vox, hell’s resident bipedal tv, hc’s of him realizing he’s legitimately falling for reader?
Vox realises he has feelings for you
A/N : Thank you so much seriously!! 💛
Cw: SFW, gn!reader, suggestive comment at one point, angst-ish/ Vox coping
Tumblr media
- It'll be a good long time before he realises he's fallen for you, and when he finally does, he's fully in it. There's no turning back and there's no backpedalling. He's absolutely whipped.
- It hits him one day like a train that he's actually in love with you all at once.
- He hung out with you the afternoon, and that night he's laying on his back with his phone gripped in his hand against his chest.
- It's been exactly 3 and a half hours since you were out together on a movie date at the VIP premiere. (as in in the ridiculously lavish movie room he had within Vee tower)
- He had been counting.
- You hadn't texted him back yet, and he was tapping his claw impatiently waiting for you to message him back with the world's biggest pout on his face.
- He'd already sent 4 texts, and none of them had been answered yet. He had to stop himself from sending more because he didn't want to seem too desperate. (Even though he was)
- He told himself he'd be mad that you had made him wait whenever you got back to him. He'd blow up over it.
- However, the second his phone buzzes and he sees the notification from you saying you had fun and were sorry you hadn't gotten back immediately it's like his dopamine receptors have been kicked into absolute overdrive.
- He's giddy. Warmth is flooding his chest, and he starts breathing heavier as the world's dorkiest smile spreads across his face.
- It isn't then that he realises exactly, but it's when you leave to go to sleep after texting him for a couple of hours with a flirtatious comment that has his head spinning and sparking.
- You were talking about how you'd washed your sheets that day and were making your bed. He acted like he was bored, and your next words absolutely took him out.
- "Fine. Next time, come over, and I'll spread you out on my bed then."
- When he calms down, it's messed up again as he's questioning himself.
- Why did I glitch out to them saying something that resembles a shitty pick-up line? Why did I count every minute that passed the second you went home? Why do I feel like I'm on drugs the second you pay me the slightest bit of attention.
- OH FUCK -
- He goes through all stages of grief as he realises he's in love with you in a single second and ends up causing a blackout in his bedroom in the process.
- When he roboots, he holds his head in his hands and chugs delulu juice instantly feels absolutely terrified.
- It's humiliating for him to have such delicate feelings, let alone for someone who surely doesn't feel the same way. His experiences with real, genuine romantic love for other people have hardly ended well.
- He likely tries to distance himself from you because he's scared of the fact he is so attached to you.
- It's been ages and ages of being attached to you but he's only fully realised - or at least fully acknowledged the extent of that attachment.
- His distance from you is shortly lived however as he craves you and your presence so badly he's disgusted at himself.
- He would not be the one to confess 9 times out of 10.
- Even if it's glaringly obvious you are also into him, he copes so fucking hard he's actually delusional with the excuses he makes about it.
- He basically friendzones HIMSELF.
- You could kiss him on the cheek or hold his hands in yours or cup his face lovingly and he would be there glitching while thinking about how you must just be like this with everyone else-
- He's charismatic, charming, and can often read everyone around him like an open book - analyse their behaviours, true intentions, expressions, thoughts under it all, etc.
- But he's so terribly stupid with love.
- You need to confess to him first most likely and he'll probably still think you're bullshitting him.
- Literally finds every reason of why you aren't in love with him and tries to twist everything that way.
- Even when he's in love, he wants it to be reciprocated obviously. The thought of it not being requited as he expects is embarrassing at best.
- But, he's genuinely probably even more terrified of what that means if you do love him back.
- It's easier if you don't love him back for him because he's scared of the way you might further bring out whatever imperfections and vulnerability he's shown you already after actually being in a relationship with you.
- He craves being in a relationship with you and the security you could bring him to expose those parts of himself he desperately conceals with masks resting on masks, but also its deeply unnerving to him simultaneously.

college au!jean kirstein x reader
masterlist
cw: nsfw !! angst, cheating, suggestive themes, drinking, hints of manipulation
now playing...
underwear by pulp
▶︎ •၊၊||၊|။||||။‌‌‌‌‌၊|• 0:21
there was once a time where you would actively avoid jean kirstein. having heard daunting rumours about the many girls he had dated briefly before moving onto the next, you knew he was trouble. little did you know it would take one class to fuck that up. you dreaded to find yourself assigned as his partner for your chemistry project that you would be working on for the next while, but only a few weeks later would you then be calling at a blessing in disguise, or so you thought.
it was difficult to focus on the work when he'd give you a look with such sincerity in his eyes, asking you about your interests, teasing you, thoughtfully bringing you a coffee when you'd meet up to work on your project. you each drank in the others attention just as a man dying of thirst could only dream of.
he told you that they were all just rumours, that it was his ex friends trying to ruin his reputation, and that you could trust him. you grew close, you opened your fragile heart to him, and you didn't realise how truly whipped you were for him until he asked you on a sweet date at the new steakhouse that had recently opened.
becoming official was a struggle, your friends telling you to leave while you can, deeming you "his next victim," to which jean told you they weren't supportive friends, that you deserved better, that you should cut them off if you really loved him. you mindlessly obliged, submitting to him without a question as if he'd put a spell on you.
your relationship with jean was quiet, you stopped speaking to those of your friends that never supported you being with him, jean was your everything. he wasn't the lustful, sex addicted guy he'd been labelled as by the rest of campus. in fact, he'd told you that he didn't want anything sexual, that he didn't feel ready yet, and you respected his wishes, burying the dirty thoughts of him that had filled your mind far, far away, or at least you tried to.
you weren't the type to party much, normally just sending your beloved and misunderstood boyfriend a "have fun baby" text before going back to your netflix as he went out to drink until the early hours of the morning. the one exception being when you both were invited to your long time friend eren's party and you just couldn't say no.
the night was filled with laughter, drunken confessions, and getting plastered off the cheap store-brand vodka bought with fake id's and money put together by the broke college students that went. after many hours, you realised you couldn't find your oh-so-innocent boyfriend anywhere, and so you went upstairs to try calling him and entered the first room you saw, shutting the door behind you before looking up in horror at the scene in front of you.
i couldn't stop it now
theres no way to get out
a skirt on the floor, a crushed can of beer beside it, a shirt hanging off the bed, a girl in nothing but her undergarments, and him on top of her. it was the mullet that gave away his identity, you could recognise it in a crowd of thousands people and instantly know it was him. the beautiful face of the man you love turns to meet you yet there's no words you could ever think to say to it again.
he's standing far too near
how the hell did you get here?
your eyes flicker from his face down to his body, he's pressed against her, a toned arm supporting him beside her head on the pillows and a hand that was made to hold yours sitting on her chest. when did he even come upstairs? he was drinking with reiner and eren fifteen minutes ago, do they know about this? they must, everyone does, everyone had already told you what kind of guy jean kistein was.
semi naked in somebody elses room
i'd give my whole life to see it
a tear leaves your eye as you stand in shock, another, and another, and the flow won't stop. you bite your lip and the salty taste creeps in, overpowering the sweet remains of every kiss you were ever so stupid as to accept from him. he always told you that he wasn't ready, but here he is, with a girl he had no romantic, or as far as you were aware, sexual relations with at all.
just you
stood there
he crawls off the bed in nothing but his boxers and hurries towards you, endlessly apologies, lies, excuses, flowing from his mouth like a broken record as he puts both hands on each of your shoulders, shaking you, begging you to look at him, to listen, anything. you're frozen, his words go in one ear and straight out the other, that is if you're even hearing any of his shit at all. you don't care, all you care about was your stupid, naive self and your shattered world.
only in your underwear

Chapter 5:
Y/N had confided in her friend, keeping Marshall's identity a secret. She described her dilemma: a man she was drawn to, but whose path would inevitably lead to a life in the public eye. Her friend's words echoed in her mind: "You don't even know if he'll succeed. And you don't know if he likes you like that." Y/N decided to distance herself, to quell the growing feelings that threatened to overwhelm her.
On the "8 Mile" set, she was a whirlwind of efficiency, always busy, always focused. Marshall noticed the change, the subtle distance she maintained. She was kind, but their conversations were brief, their moments together fleeting. He was confused, sensing the pull between them, yet feeling her push him away.
One afternoon, Y/N was searching for Curtis. A crew member told her Curtis needed to talk to her and at the moment he was in the music trailer with Marshall. She went there, intending to find Curtis, but the trailer was empty except for Marshall
"I'm sorry," she said, turning to leave. "I was told Curtis was here."
Marshall reached out, his fingers closing around her wrist. "Y/N, wait," he said, his voice low. "We need to talk." He pulled her gently towards him, his eyes searching hers. "I like you, Y/N. A lot."
Y/N's breath caught in her throat. She wanted to confess her feelings, but the words caught in her throat. "Marshall," she said, her voice barely a whisper, "nothing can happen between us."
"Why?" he asked, his voice laced with confusion and a hint of desperation, stepping closer.
She couldn't find the words, the truth about his fame too painful to voice. She didn't want to hurt him.
"I know you want me too," Marshall said, his voice husky, his eyes fixed on hers. "I see the way you look at me."
He closed the distance between them, his hand cupping her cheek. His lips found hers, a kiss that was both tender and demanding. Y/N's resistance melted away, her arms wrapping around his neck. The kiss deepened, a torrent of unspoken emotions unleashed.
It was a kiss that spoke of longing and desire, of unspoken fears and hidden truths. It was a kiss that burned with a raw intensity, a desperate need to connect, to bridge the gap between their worlds. For a moment, they were lost in the heat of the moment, forgetting the world outside the trailer, the cameras, the fans, the future that loomed before them.
Y/N's fingers tangled in Marshall's hair, pulling him closer. "We can't," she murmured against his lips, her voice breathless. "... you're still married."
Marshall's eyes softened. "Not anymore," he said, his voice husky. "If you hadn't been pushing me away, I'd have told you. The divorce was finalized last week."
Y/N pulled back, surprise registering on her face. "Really?"
"Yeah," Marshall said, a hint of a smile playing on his lips. "It cost me a hell of a fortune, but at least I got to keep the house in Clinton Township."
"How are you feeling?" Y/N asked, concern lacing her voice. "And how's Hailie?"
"It's tough," Marshall admitted. "But Hailie's doing okay. She understands." He paused, his gaze locking with hers. "Right now, all I want is to be with you, Y/N."
He leaned in, his lips brushing against hers. Y/N's heart pounded in her chest. She was about to lose herself in another passionate kiss when the trailer door swung open. Dr. Dre stood in the doorway, his expression unreadable. He glanced from Marshall to Y/N a flicker of surprise crossing his features.
"Am I interrupting something?" he asked, his voice low.
Marshall and Y/N sprang apart, their faces flushed. Marshall instinctively moved to stand in front of Y/N, subtly shielding her as she quickly smoothed her clothes. It wasn't that her clothes were disheveled, but the lingering warmth of his touch had left them slightly askew.
"Man, you didn't knock!" Marshall said, his voice laced with a mixture of embarrassment and annoyance.
Dre raised an eyebrow, a hint of amusement playing on his lips. "I'd give you some advice, man," he said, his voice low. "Lock your doors."
He then turned his attention to Y/N, extending a hand. "It's nice to meet you. I'm Dre. It's good to see Marshall isn't scared of women after the divorce."
Y/N shook Dre's hand, her own cheeks still flushed. "It's nice to meet you too, Dre. I'm Y/N," she said, her voice steady despite the turmoil within her. "Though I'd prefer if it were under different circumstances."
"It is what it is," Dre replied, his gaze knowing. "Curtis wants you," he said, turning back to Marshall. "He's ready to shoot the intimate scene with Murphy."
Marshall's expression shifted, a mix of apprehension and determination crossing his features. He glanced at Y/N a silent apology in his eyes.
"I have to go," he said, his voice low.
Y/N nodded, her own cheeks still flushed. "Yeah, go," she said, her voice barely a whisper.
Marshall hesitated for a moment, his gaze lingering on her. Then, with a sigh, he turned and followed Dre out of the trailer, leaving Y/N alone with her thoughts.
She sank into a nearby chair, her mind reeling. The intensity of their kiss, the revelation of his divorce, and now, the mention of an intimate scene with another actress – it was all too much. She didn't want to watch the scene, the thought of it twisting her stomach into knots. She closed her eyes, trying to sort through her emotions. She liked Marshall, she realized, far more than she had initially admitted to herself. Maybe, just maybe, they could make it work. They could keep their relationship private, away from the prying eyes of the public. The thought brought a flicker of hope, a sense of possibility. She was starting to convince herself that she wanted to give it a try...
The set was hushed, the air thick with anticipation. Marshall stood backstage, his heart pounding in his chest. He knew this scene was crucial, a turning point in Jimmy's relationship with Alex. He took a deep breath, trying to push Y/N's image from his mind.
The cameras rolled, and the scene began. He was Jimmy, raw and vulnerable, taking Alex to a secluded corner of his workplace. Brittany Murphy was a consummate professional, her performance both seductive and sincere. But as the scene progressed, Marshall's mind drifted. He saw Y/N's face, her eyes filled with a mixture of longing and apprehension. He imagined her touch, her lips on his. The distraction was almost palpable, making it difficult to fully immerse himself in the moment. He managed to maintain his focus, however, delivering a performance that was both convincing and emotionally charged. He wanted this scene to be over quickly. He wanted to see Y/N.
After the scene wrapped, Marshall retreated to his trailer, where he found Dre waiting for him.
"What were you thinking, man?" Dre asked, his voice low. "You just got divorced. And now you're jumping into something else? Is this just a one-night thing?"
"No, it's not like that," Marshall said, his voice defensive. "Y/N's different."
"She seems like a good woman," Dre said, his eyes filled with concern. "She doesn't deserve to get hurt. Maybe you should just be single for a while. Focus on yourself, on Hailie."
"It's confusing, man" Marshall admitted, running a hand through his hair. "I don't even know if I believe in love anymore. But there's something about Y/N… I can't explain it."
"Be a responsible man, Marshall," Dre said, his voice firm.
Marshall nodded, his mind a whirlwind of conflicting emotions. He returned to his trailer, hoping to find Y/N, but she was gone. A note lay on the table, her phone number scrawled across the paper...
At Y/N's home, John was excitedly planning his upcoming birthday on November 8th.
"Can we invite Hailie and her dad?" he asked, his eyes wide with anticipation.
"Sure, darling"
"Marshall's really funny. Was dad funny too?"
Y/N smiled, a bittersweet pang in her heart. "Dad was very funny," she said, her voice soft.
"Mom... Did dad say it was okay for you to love someone else?" John asked, his brow furrowed.
"Yes, he did," Y/N replied. "He said my heart was big enough for two."
"Then you should marry Marshall" John declared, his eyes sparkling. "Hailie's dad doesn't have a wife, and you don't have a husband. Then we can all play together more often!"
Y/N's heart skipped a beat. She laughed, but a wave of emotion washed over her. She liked Marshall, she liked him a lot, and she wanted to make it work. But she also had to think about John and his feelings. Just as Y/N was contemplating John's innocent suggestion, her phone rang. She answered cautiously, recognizing an unknown number. But the voice on the other end was instantly familiar.
"Y/N?" Marshall's voice echoed through the line.
"Marshall," she replied, her heart skipping a beat.
John, hearing Marshall's name, jumped up, his eyes wide with excitement. "Mom, can I talk to him?"
Y/N smiled and handed him the phone. "Hello, Marshall!" John exclaimed, his voice filled with enthusiasm. "It's me, John boy! You have to come to my birthday party! It's on November 8th! And bring Hailie! Can I talk to her?"
"Hey, John boy," Marshall chuckled. "That sounds great. Let me get Hailie for you."
He handed the phone to Hailie, and the two children chatted excitedly for a few minutes before Marshall reclaimed the phone.
"Sorry about that," he said, his voice laced with amusement. "They're quite the pair."
"They are," Y/N agreed, smiling.
"Should I have waited to call you back later?" Marshall asked.
"No, it's fine," Y/N reassured him. "I was just getting ready to put John to bed."
"Why don't we both get our kids settled, and then we can talk?"
They both agreed, and after a few minutes of bedtime routines, they were back on the phone.
"So," Marshall began, his voice low, "was me being married the only thing that was worrying you?"
Y/N decided to be honest. "No," she admitted. "I don't like the idea of being in the public eye. But… I've been thinking. Maybe there's a way to make it work. If we want it to."
"You know I value my privacy too," Marshall said, his voice sincere. "We can make it work. I know we can."
A sense of hope flickered within Y/N. Maybe, just maybe, they could have a chance at happiness.
A comfortable silence settled between them, broken by Marshall's low chuckle. "You know," he said, his voice husky, "I couldn't stop thinking about you the whole time I was filming that scene."
Y/N's breath hitched. "Marshall," she said, her voice laced with a mixture of amusement and annoyance, "please don't mention that scene."
"Are you jealous?" he teased, a playful note in his voice.
"No," Y/N replied quickly, perhaps a little too quickly.
"Liar," Marshall said, his voice warm. "Your body was all I had on my mind. And even right now, it's all I can think about."
A shiver ran down Y/N's spine. She couldn't deny the pull between them, the raw desire that simmered beneath the surface.
"We want each other," she admitted, her voice barely a whisper.
"Desperately," Marshall agreed, his voice thick with emotion. "We have unfinished business, Y/N. And I intend to get it done as soon as possible."

Chapter 6
The fluorescent lights of the film set hummed, a sterile drone that amplified the thrumming in Marshall's veins. He glanced at the clock, the seconds ticking like a countdown. He needed to leave. Now. He needed Y/N. A fabricated excuse, a quick lie about needing to pick up Hailie, slipped from his lips with practiced ease. A pang of guilt, a fleeting whisper of dishonesty, was quickly swallowed by the rising tide of anticipation. He was becoming Jimmy B. Rabbit, a man driven by instinct, by need.
Y/N was at her workplace. The sharp scent of gun oil mingled with the metallic tang of spent cartridges, a sensory symphony that grounded her. She moved with practiced grace, demonstrating a stance, correcting an aim, her mind a sharp, focused instrument. But beneath the surface, a current of anticipation pulsed. Marshall was coming...
The drive to his house was a charged conversation. Marshall's hand gripped the steering wheel, his knuckles white on one hand, while the other rested on Y/N's tight.
"I feel... I feel terrible about lying to Curtis," he confessed, his voice tight. "He trusts me. But I couldn't... I coudln't wait. I needed to see you".
Y/N turned to him, her gaze soft but intense. "Marshall...."
"I know it's not right", he continued, his voice laced with a mixture of guilt and determination. "But being on that set, it's like...like I'm fucking trapped. Like I'm not me anymore. I'm B. Rabbit. And I needed to break free. I needed to be with you".
A silence fell between them, but it was a comfortable silence, a shared understanding. Y/N reached out, her hand resting lightly on his arm. "I understand", she said, her voice barely a whisper. "Just be careful, baby. Don't let them turn you in someone you're not"
He nodded, his gaze fixed on the road ahead. "I won't", he said, his voice firm. "I won't let them".
He pulled into the garage, the heavy door closing with a thud that echoed the pounding of his heart. Y/N stepped into the house, her eyes widening slightly. It was immaculate, a stark contrast to the image she had conjured in her mind.
"Impressive," she murmured, a hint of surprise in her voice.
Marshall arched an eyebrow. "What you mean "impressive"? Did you think I was a slob?"
"Oh, absolutely not," she replied, her voice dripping with sarcasm. "I wouldn't think of you in that way"
"Then in what way did you think of me?" he asked, his voice low, a playful glint in his eyes.
"Do you really want to know?" she countered, her gaze locking with his.
The question hung in the air, a silent dare. Before he could respond, she closed the distance, her lips finding his in a kiss that was both soft and demanding. He met her passion with equal fervor, the kiss deepening, becoming more urgent.
He pulled back, a flicker of playful mischief in his eyes. "Jump," he commanded, turning his back to her.
Without hesitation, she obeyed, her arms wrapping around his neck as he lifted her effortlessly. He carried her through the hallway, the soft padding of his feet on the carpet a counterpoint to the frantic rhythm of their hearts.
He threw her playfully on the bed, the soft mattress yielding beneath her weight. Then, he was on her, his body a warm, solid presence. He rained kisses across her face, her neck, his touch a feather-light caress that sent shivers down her spine. He helped her shed her clothes, his gaze lingering on every curve, every contour. His lips found the sensitive skin of her neck, his teeth nipping gently, eliciting a soft moan from her lips. He moved lower, his mouth tracing the delicate line of her collarbone, then lower still, to the swell of her breasts. His tongue circled her nipples, teasing, tormenting, until she cried out his name, her body arching beneath him.
Y/N felt like she was under a spell, his spell, and she wanted more. With a simple gesture, she indicated that she wanted him to remove his clothes as well. He quickly followed her instructions. Y/N's hands moved with a newfound urgency, helping him shed his clothes, her fingers lingering on his skin, tracing the contours of his muscles. With his clothes discarded, she pulled him closer, her lips finding his in a deep, hungry kiss. She kissed him deeply, then trailed kisses down his neck, her hands exploring every inch of his body, finally settling on his back, her fingernails digging into his skin. He groaned, a low sound of pleasure, as her touch ignited a fire within him.
While she kissed every spot available for her, he moved one hand to her heat, circling her clit with his fingertip. Y/N was a moaning mess under him, her body writhing with pleasure. They both needed more, the anticipation building to an unbearable crescendo.
Marshall entered her, the joining of their bodies a perfect fit, a moment of pure, unadulterated bliss. The room was filled with the sounds of their shared passion, the soft gasps and moans, the rustle of sheets, the frantic rhythm of their bodies. It was a release, a moment of pure connection that transcended the pressures of their lives. For Marshall, it was an escape, a sanctuary where he could shed the weight of his persona and simply be himself. For Y/N, it was a surrender, a yielding to the raw, undeniable pull that had drawn them together.
"Fuck, Marshall" she'd breathe.
He moved with a steady rhythm, his own voice a low growl of satisfaction. "That's it, baby," he'd whisper, "You feel so good".
The tension mounted, Y/N's breaths coming in ragged gasps.
"I'm close," she gasped, her body trembling.
"Come for me, baby," he urged, his voice thick with desire.
She cried out, her body convulsing as she reached her peak, the waves of pleasure washing over her. He followed soon after, his own release a powerful surge that left them both breathless.
Their bodies still humming with the aftershocks of their passion, trying to regain their breath, the silence broken only by the soft rhythm of their breathing. Then, the shrill ring of Marshall's phone shattered the quiet, a jarring intrusion into their intimate world.
He glanced at the caller ID, his brow furrowing. "It's Hailie's school," he said, his voice laced with concern. Still having his dick inside Y/N, he answered the phone, "Hi, yes, this is Hailie's father. Good. " he said, his voice tightening.
Y/N watched him, her heart pounding in her chest. The shift in his demeanor was palpable, a sudden tension that radiated through him, through her, still deeply connected to him. A wave of worry washed over her. Something's wrong with Hailie, she thought, something's happened at school. Why hadn't they called Y/N too? Was her son okay?
"Yeah, let me talk to her," Marshall said, his eyes flicking down to Y/N. "She's having a bad day. She's been crying."
Even without the phone on speaker, Hailie's sobs were audible, a heart-wrenching sound.
"Hi, Daddy," she cried.
"What's wrong, monster? Why are you crying?" he asked, his voice laced with concern.
"I want you, Daddy," she wailed.
"Okay, I'm going to come pick you up in a little bit, okay?"
Hailie's cries intensified, her voice pleading for him to come immediately.
"Are you coming to get me, Daddy?" she asked, her voice trembling.
"Yes, I'm with Y/N right now. Do you want us to pick you up?"
"I want Y/N too!" she cried.
Marshall quickly put the phone on speaker, and passed it to Y/N. "I'm here too, baby!"
"Y/N!" Hailie sobbed.
While she spoke to Hailie, Marshall got himself out of Y/N, and moved to the bathroom, grabbing a damp cloth. He returned, gently cleaning Y/N, his touch tender despite the urgency of the situation. Y/N tried to remain still, her body still sensitive from their lovemaking, her mind racing with worry.
"What happened, my love? Tell me. We're going to pick you up right now," Y/N said, her voice soothing.
Hailie continued to cry, her words a garbled plea for them to come. Y/N handed the phone back to Marshall.
"We're going to pick you up now. I love you," he said, his voice firm.
"Okay," Hailie replied, her voice still shaky.
They dressed quickly, a sense of urgency driving their movements. As they got into Marshall's car, Y/N placed a comforting hand on his arm.
"You stressed?" she asked.
"Yes," he admitted, his jaw tight.
"It's okay, she'll be fine," Y/N assured him.
When they arrived at the school, Hailie was beaming, her face lit up with a mischievous smile.
"Oh, hell no, now she's happy and smiling," Marshall said, his voice a mix of relief and exasperation. "Why were you crying like that?" he asked, lifting her into his arms. "You got me scared. You don't ever cry like that again, you hear me? We thought something bad happened."
"You were just sad today? You just wanted Daddy?" Y/N asked, her eyes searching Hailie's.
Hailie smiled and nodded. "Yeah."
They settled Hailie into her car seat, the tension in the car shifting from worry to playful annoyance.
"She fucking played us," Marshall whispered in Y/N's ear, a wry smile playing on his lips. "She wanted to leave earlier."
"Hailie, let's talk about something," Y/N said, her voice gentle but firm.
"What?" Hailie asked, her smile still wide.
"Only call Daddy when something really happens, okay? We love you. Are you really okay?" Y/N asked.
"You promise you are not hiding anything?" said Marshall
"I'm okay," Hailie said, her voice bright.
"So, why were you crying so much?" Y/N asked.
"Because I wanted Daddy," Hailie said, her smile widening.
"Oh, you little monster," Marshall said, shaking his head, a genuine smile breaking through his annoyance.

Spoiler: Marshall's mind was a whirlwind of conflicting thoughts. He was exhausted, bone-deep tired, but he couldn't bring himself to tell Y/N the truth. It wasn't that he didn't trust her; it was more that he didn't want to worry her. Besides, it wasn't a big deal. Just a little something to help him sleep, to take the edge off. It's just the film, he thought, his gaze fixed on the headlights cutting through the darkness. Once it's over, I'll stop. No problem.

Helliuw~ Can I request how Luocha from Honkai Star Rail going after his crush (reader)? Thank you!
𓆩⟡𓆪 Ooh this is a cute one!! Well they all usually are, but I really like this one. Luocha is just so *sigh* 𓆩⟡𓆪 This was also much longer than I intended it to be, i didn't even realize. It may not be entirely compatible with his personality, but I was just having too much fun to change it.
How He Confesses
Tumblr media
Luocha is a generally observant person, and he's good a picking up emotions of others. So, it wasn’t hard for him to recognize that his own emotions stirred when he interacted with you.
However, just because he can recognize these feelings doesn't mean he's good at acting on them. He’ll understand them but he’ll try to either deny it or just avoid it for a while in the earlier stages.
Luocha doesn’t want to rush things, which is why he tries to take it slow. But over time, he realizes just how much he loves you.
It does make it harder for him to take it slow, so at some point, he throws caution to the wind and just attempts to confess.
Here’s the thing, there’s a certain rule to confessing, right? Like you don’t just say it to someone’s face that you love them without setting up something. Doesn’t need to be anything grand, but some effort has to go in it.
Well, that’s what he tried. See, he wanted to confess in private, wanting the atmosphere to reflect the love he felt for you. So, he set up a little picnic in a secluded area he’d found. It was perfect, with how easily the stars could be seen, to the way the moonlight poured onto the seating area. It was truly the definition of beauty. The setup was easy, he needed a blanket, maybe a couple of pillows, a bottle of wine, some snacks, and a clear night.
But then apparently it was an extremely windy night? Like, he couldn’t get the blanket to stay, the small rocks weren’t helping too much, the basket flew away, he accidentally spilled the wine before he could even set it up. Like, the date failed before he even asked you to join him.
So, he tried something else. Decided maybe something indoors would be a more neutral choice. Even if it started raining, you two would be fine. So, he set up a reservation, asked to be put in a more private area so you could talk without much noise. The venue was all fancy and stuff, so you'd love it for sure!
But apparently four customers got into a heated argument that became physical. Somehow the fight moved to the kitchen and they ended up starting a fire? Everyone was evacuated and Luocha got a call mere hours before the date that they’d be closed for a couple of weeks due to the damages.
So, that clearly failed. Well, to hell with fancy confessions, he just needed to tell you right? Maybe it was best to confess in person then give you the option to take some time to yourself and think just in case. He was a little disappointed that his other plans didn't work, but maybe it was for the best! Putting you in that situation might force some pressure onto you to give him a response immediately.
The next time you two met up, he decided to go for it. He was running with the conversation and was building up to the confession… when you got a call from Yanqing claiming he had an emergency he desperately needed you for… and you had to leave.
At this point, Luocha had to wonder of it was even in the cards for him to confess. Cards! Oh! Nothing could possibly interrupt a card, right? Sure, it was the tackiest idea ever, but desperate times call for desperate measures!
The process of writing a love letter was much more complicated than he realized. He needed it to be short and concise, but not abrupt. He also didn't want it to be too cheesy with over the top metaphors and whatnot. Honestly, it took him at least 6 drafts before he settled on one that was bearable.
He debated on sending it to you through the courier but decided against it since so much had gone wrong already. Best part about this idea? He didn't need to take up too much of your time, even a few minutes worked as he just needed to explain it. Basically, he gave it to you and instructed you to keep it safe until you got home and then read it, so that you had that privacy. You agreed and he went home feeling somewhat mediocre. On on hand, he finally got the confession out, but on the other, it was such a dumb way- in his opinion (Pocky thinks love letters are hella romantic).
APPARENTLY you lost your entire bag and the letter with it. I mean, Luocha was at his wits end. It’s like the entire universe was against him just confessing. Everything that could go wrong, literally went wrong. Your entire backpack vanished! You wouldn’t even get a chance to reject, which, at some point, had someone stopped being a fear of his due to these bizarre circumstances!
Finally, he gave up and just kept his mouth shut. He realized how much trouble was being caused every time he confessed and decided to save the entire world some grief and just bury his feelings. He’d just die with them.
The days went on, nothing really happened. Like those weird events just magically went away which did make him wonder if he was being set up. He threw that out the window when he realized no other soul other than him knew about his feelings. You two hung out as often as you usually did but you started noticing Luocha’s behavior. It was… odd. Less cheery and more distracted. You tried to ask but he kept saying it was nothing and he was just tired.
Honestly, Luocha hated lying to you. Omitting details for others was easy but for you, it felt wrong. He didn’t want to distance himself but clearly he wasn’t meant to be with you.
Then you did the unthinkable. You just… confessed. Lemme explain:
“I’m ok. You’re worrying again.” Luocha said with a slight chuckle as he raised the teacup to his lips. He easily noticed you weren’t really convinced in the slightest, but he didn’t intend on letting you know anytime soon. Who knows, the entire street might explode to keep him from confessing.
“Of course, I would worry. I really care about you, you know.” Your words were spoken with no hesitation that it made Luocha’s hand pause in the middle of him taking another sip of his hot beverage.
“Huh? O-oh, thank you. That’s really kind of you.” He said, slowly returning to reality and waving his hand a little. As if you didn’t have to say such a thing to make him feel better.
“I mean it.” You pointed out as you leaned forward a little. “I really like you and you being so withdrawn makes me worry a lot.”
“I can assure you, I really am just- wait, what?” Luocha’s eyes widened as he fully registered what you’d just said to him. You seemed confused by his expression and just shrugged.
“Well, yeah. It’s normal to worry about someone you like, right?”
“R-right but you like me. Like… you’re romantically interested in me?” His words were deliberate and he wanted to make sure there was absolutely no confusion between you two whatsoever.
“Yes. I have a crush on you. Well, for me it's a bit more intense than like but you know what I mean.” His eyes immediately darted around and he even turned around to see the area behind the outdoor café. “Luocha? What’s wrong?”
After a moment of silence from him, the blond man sighed and turned back to you. You could visibly see the relief he felt.
“Honestly, I was expecting a skiff to crash and kill us.” You were taken aback by his morbid words, your eyes widening.
“Wh-why?”
“Yeah. Why? That’s my question too.” He replied, rubbing his face. “Wait, no. Forget that, you actually feel the same way?”
“Feel the same? Wait, you like me too!? Why didn’t you say anything?” You asked, leaning even closer. At the simple words, Luocha felt a bitter feeling in his chest.
“I tried.” He replied flatly, pushing his hair back to recompose himself. “But my confession quickly turned into a series of unfortunate events.”
“Oh? What happened?” You asked, eyes filled with curiosity as you waited for him to elaborate. He was about to, opening his mouth to speak before he fell silent once more. What? No! No, he couldn't waste any more time.
“N-never mind that! Let’s talk about us. You like me, I like you. We should just go ahead and just get married.” You couldn’t help but laugh at his words, shaking your head a little. Now, it felt like he was returning to his normal self. Honestly, it wasn't that bad of an idea- technically speaking.
“Marriage? Shouldn’t we go on a date first?”
“Why? Tomorrow’s never guaranteed and we might as well just make it official.” That and… Luocha was a little scared to propose seeing as how his confession went. At this rate, you’d be the one proposing. Well, he actually didn’t hate the idea.
You couldn’t help but laugh again and Luocha felt a smile tugging at his own lips. Ok, maybe he was jumping ahead a little too fast. So instead, he reached out and grabbed your hand, feeling the warmth and comfort of it.
“Kidding. Why not turn this into an official date, then?”
“Yeah, I like that.” You said, nodding and squeezing his hand. "I mean, I don't mind getting married right now but we should probably take it slow."

Stuck Between a Jock and a Metalhead
Summary: Nancy, on a whim, decides to visit Steve at Scoops Ahoy, which leads to her overhearing confessions from Steve that leads her to think about the decisions she's made. A few days later, she decides to come back. She finds him being hit on by the town freak. What's a girl to do? Oh, get stuck in a freezer with the both of them.
A/N: Oops, I made this chapter a little angsty. I do love Nancy now, flaws and all. Oh, the title is a play on for stuck between a rock and a hard place. Thought it was funny.
Chapter One
Nancy Wheeler was confident in her decisions, to say the least. She never really doubted when she was in the right. It was a constant struggle, though, to look at someone's else's side of things. It was why she loved looking at the facts, put plain and simply before her. The facts are that she was interning at the local newspaper and that the news reporters seemed to hate women or look down on them at least. They surely didn't respect them.
"I mean, like what year are we in now? There are tons of female news reporters. Get ahead of the times!" Nancy complained.
"Well, there's a reason why people call this town so conservative. Will this town ever be willing to change?" Steve asked, shaking an invisible magic eight ball. "Sources say: unlikely. I mean, now, they really won't be subject to change with the way this mall moved in and took away their businesses."
"The same mall you work at?" Nancy asked in amusement. "By the way, what the hell are you wearing?"
"I can't believe you're just now noticing. This is my uniform," Steve said and flipped the hat back onto his head.
Nancy had stopped by Scoops Ahoy after coming into the mall to try to find Holly a birthday gift. She had spotted Steve behind the counter and had to stop in. Now, here they were, in the back room conversing like old friends. Steve stood up from the table and slowly twirled around before striking a pose. His back was to her, and he peered over his shoulder, his hand over his mouth as though he was shocked. His rear end was sticking out. He looked like he got caught doing something he shouldn't. Nancy burst into a fit of giggles.
"You're an idiot, Steve Harrington," Nancy said softly.
"And you're - uh - anyway, yes, this is my uniform. It's completely fucking embarrassing but not as embarrassing as being too stupid to get into anywhere," Steve said.
"Despite what I said before, you're not stupid. Although, you can be an idiot at times. It's not who you are, and if your dad ever makes you feel like that, then just send him my way. I'll kick his ass," Nancy said.
"You're the only person in the world I believe could actually take that asshole," Steve said.
"Thanks. I should probably go. I told mom I would be home soon," Nancy said, getting up.
"One thing first, and I'm not sure it was my place to say, but this job of yours. . .you're not getting paid, your skills aren't being put to good use, you have to ask what else am I getting out of this? What else am I learning?" Steve asked.
"Well, I'm learning what not to do," she said, and he laughed.
"You know, it's okay to give up something that's not working for you, and it's okay to fight for it. Whatever decision that works best for you, Nancy, it's okay," Steve said.
"Stop saying okay. I hate that word," Nancy said softly.
It made her stomach turn the way he said it softly, reminding her of the way he said it that night he told her to go with Jonathan. A small portion of guilt nestled in her stomach. She shook it away and smiled.
"It was good to see you again, Steve," Nancy said. "We should talk again soon."
"Definitely," Steve grinned. "Did I help at all?"
"Yeah, actually, you did," Nancy said.
As she walked out of the break room, she passed Steve’s co-worker Robin. She gave Nancy the stink eye. She wondered if it was because she thought there was something between her and Steve. Was Robin jealous of her? Did she want to date Steve? Or was she dating Steve? God, Nancy hoped not. She blushed, realizing that she had no right to be jealous of someone she didn't have any interest in anymore. . .or did she? Nancy walked briskly away, moving out of the parlor and towards the exit as quickly as possible. Halfway towards the exit, Nancy realized that she had left her purse. When she walked back in, there was a closed for lunch sign out front. She went in and headed towards the break room. She paused by the door when she heard her name.
"You're friends with your ex?" Robin asked. "That's a little. . . Unusual."
"I take what I can get," Steve said.
"What does that mean?" She asked and paused. "What? Are you still in love with her?"
Nancy sucked in a breath and waited hopefully for the right answer.
"I mean, I don't know. I guess so. How does one fully stop loving Nancy Wheeler?" Steve asked. "I just want her to be happy. If Jonathan makes her happy, then I'm happy, too."
"It doesn't kill you inside every time you hang out to see her with another guy?" Robin asked.
"Well, this is the first time we hung out in a while. After it all. . .ended, Nancy invited me to have lunch with her Jonathan, but I couldn't. . .it was too painful. I spent lunch in my car blasting Careless Whisper and crying. I got my heart broken, and I didn't have any friends. I mean, the friends I had I walked away from. They were assholes, yes, but I knew Tommy all of my life, and he wasn't always like that. My parents were never home, still aren't, and I just had no one. The kids I started to babysit helped a lot, but considering they were kids and one of them was Nancy's brother, I couldn't exactly talk to them about this," Steve said. "Before we broke up, I tried everything to befriend Jonathan because I knew how much he meant to Nancy. I guess I just didn't want to admit how much."
Nancy pressed her hand to her mouth, tears filling her eyes as she tried to muffle her sobs. She didn't know anything about all of that or the fact that Steve tried to make friends with Jonathan.
"You didn't want to lose her. The fact that you tried to befriend him says a lot about you," Robin said. "I wouldn't have been able to do that."
"I can't hate her for making the choice that she did. I was never enough to be it for her, but I respect her choice even if I don't like it. I can't force her - " Steve choked up. "I can't force her to love me."
"So pathetic," Robin said softly with a hint of affection and Steve laughed.
"Definitely pathetic," Steve said and paused. "I miss her so much that it's stupid. I just wish that I could move on. I think I'm trying too hard. I guess I can't force that either."
"I think I can help with that," Robin said in a mischievous voice. "It requires me taking over the whiteboard, though. What are your preferences?"
"Men, women," Steve said.
"I meant like how do you want me to tease you mercilessly while I do this, but that is. . . That is good to know," Robin said. "Um, right, thanks for telling me."
Crying softly, Nancy quietly and quickly walked away. She'd get her purse some other time. She ran all the way to the bathroom and locked herself in a stall. What he had said then was something she always suspected about Steve, but she never asked, never wanted to be pushy about that part of his life in case he wasn't aware, but turns out, he was. It was all the other stuff that was overwhelming her. She couldn't stop picturing Steve alone in his car, crying. She had so wanted to believe that he had been fine, that he wouldn't be affected by what happened. Or maybe she just hoped that he wouldn't care because it was easier to escape the fact that she fucked up. She didn't intend to hurt Steve, but she did it anyway, and maybe there was another reason why she didn't want to think about how he felt or that moment at the school. She didn't want to think about him walking away from her after begging her to tell him that she loved him. She didn't want to think about him telling her it was okay or hearing him call himself a shitty boyfriend. It was easier to ignore all of that than to admit that she didn't feel like she deserved him.
Jonathan doesn't deserve for her to think that way either because her relationship with him means something, doesn't it? Everything happened so quickly. Maybe that was why she wanted it to happen so fast. Why she had acted the way she did with her feelings for Jonathan? She wanted to destroy her relationship with Steve, to make him hate her the way she hated herself, and she wanted him to feel guilty the way that she did with Barb. She was so mad at her before she died. Why couldn't Barb have understood that it was her choice to have sex with Steve? That the moment he talked to her, it was decided, and the very moment his lips touched hers. She bought a new bra, bought a new sweater, and she even lied to her mom about why she needed birth control.
"This isn't you, Nance," Barb had said.
"Why couldn't you have just gone home?" Nancy whispered to the empty bathroom.
The real person she wanted to be angry with was Barb, and how grotesque was that? How could she be angry at Barb for being in the wrong place at the wrong time? No, because if Barb had gone home and just let her make her choice, then Barb would still be alive. Nancy's stomach rolled. That's what Steve represented, not his guilt because he did nothing, but her own for being so angry with Barb before she died and for being angry after. The real person to be angry with, she knew, was Dr. Brenner. He was the man who started all of this, who led Barbara to her death. If she could bring him back and kill him again, she'd kill him a thousand times. She couldn't go down that road again. She knew the risks she took when she sought justice for Barb. She risked the whole damn town to do it. She wasn't sure she could put something like on Steve again because she still loved him, and he deserved better than that. Nancy wiped her face and came out of the bathroom to find Robin leaning against the wall. She was holding her purse.
"You left this. I saw you run in here. Damn, you're fast," Robin said and handed her the purse.
"Thanks," Nancy said, taking the purse and Robin narrowed her eyes at her.
"You came back for the purse. You heard us," Robin said, and Nancy didn't say anything. "You still love him."
"He deserves better," Nancy said.
"Doesn't he also deserve to make that choice for himself?" Robin asked.
"I - why do you care so much?" Nancy asked.
"I'm a firm believer in second chances. Without them, I wouldn't be here. My mother thought she'd never see my father again or to tell how she felt, but the chance came around again, so . . . Here I am," Robin said, raising her hands up in a shrug. "Gotta believe that there's hope for everyone."
Nancy stared at her for a moment, trying to figure her out. She washed her hands and dried them off.
"Don't tell Steve about this," Nancy said softly.
"Tell him what?" Robin shrugged and left the bathroom.
When Nancy walked into the house, Holly was playing barber shop with Mike's hair while he screeched that she was pulling his hair on purpose. Judging by the mischievous look on Holly's face, she was. Nancy smiled and shook her head before walking into the kitchen where her mother was making lunch.
"Hey, Nance. Did you find what you were looking for at the mall?" Karen asked.
"I think so," Nancy said softly as she stared at her mother.
She realized then where the choice she made with Jonathan was leading her. It was the path that she thought Steve would lead her down to: an unhappy marriage. She still liked Jonathan right now, and she wanted to continue to like him. Not that her mom didn't love her dad. It's just that she didn't like him very much. She wanted a partner that she not only liked but loved as well.
"We like Steve, but we don't love Steve," Murrary had taunted.
Nancy blushed furiously. He had been wrong. She should have said something then, defended Steve then because it was true. She liked Steve, and she loved him too. As much as she cared for Jonathan, as much as she liked him, she didn't love him the way that she loved Steve. The more she thought about Steve, the more she started to remember everything that she loved about their relationship. She remembered nights when they would curl up and watch Tom Cruise movies. They would both gush and giggle over him. Thinking about it now, he definitely had a crush on him like she did. She remembered watching him bake, and when a Bob Seger song came on, he would pull her in his arms to dance. He wasn't afraid to let her lead either. It wasn't just Bob Seger. It was Queen, Bowie, and Madonna. Occasionally, it was stuff like Eddie Van Halen, too. She loved the fact that he didn't just have a particular genre that he loved. He appreciated all sorts. And when she had to babysit Holly, he would come over to help, and he was always so good with her. He was good with both Holly and Mike. She loved the way that he wasn't afraid to be an absolute dork. Her dad was a quiet man, but he always some managed to pull a conversation out of Ted, and he loved to help her mother in the kitchen. She remembered all if without the cloud of guilt weighing her down.
"Nancy, honey, are you okay?" Karen asked.
"I messed everything up," Nancy burst into tears.

it ate my fucking 'ideal oshi no ending' ask??? Tumblr, whyyyyyyy
i didn't write shit down anywhere else, I'll try my best to 'member. i'll write down everything again as good as i can, lets pray i wont miss anything :'D
okay, so aqua does his super smart (stupid) plan, but he and kamiki survive and end up hospitalized. kamiki wakes up first and, while he doesn't regret all the things he did, decides to stop™ and to also honor Ai and her memory by telling aquas version of what happened. bc at the end, kamiki loves Ai. and Ai loves her children, and he wants to finally honor her and her wishes by doing what she'd want. (i had been pondering that one a bit more after sending the og ask, and i want his eureka moment to be smth like him being close enough to death that he actually manages to talk to Ai in the afterlife. or at least thinks that he is)
anyways, when aqua wakes up, he's surrounded by his friends and family. kana gets to bitch slap him bc she said she would do that and honestly i support her rights and wrongs. big affirmation of aqua being loved and supported by everyone.
then he gets a private talk with akane, who essentially goes 'okay what did actually happen' and they get to bond over both having had to deal with being suicidal and having attempted to end their lives, essentially a role reversal to the Love Now arc.
after that, ruby talk to resolve THE FUCKING KISS. let ruby finally properly break down and start to move on from the sarina/gorou thing. hell, use it so aqua gives her a push to talk to kana and mem-cho about how shit ruby was to them while going all black hoshigan. allow her to acknowledge that she has been imitating Ai and finally step out of her shadow. THANK YOU
also, solely needed, aqua and kamiki talk. idk if that was in my original ask (i think it was?) but let aqua find out about kamikis reasoning for going with aquas version of the story. and then, let them have a proper talk. (.... kamiki comparing aqua to Ai. aqua finally calling Ai his mom,,,, please,,,,)
then, timeskip pages where we get to watch rubys idol career now that she stepped into the light as herself. akane and kana acting together (akane and kana friendship. Please.) cute group stuff. aqua and ruby healing.
(bonus page: Ai smiling as she watches.)
bonus chapter gets to be aqua kana confession, can be ambiguous or ends with them dating, idc, just let kana confess.
This is. Not as well worded as the original, but this was the crux and i think the most important stuff? i did add a few scenes i thought about after sending the original ask.
(also, if anyone wants to use any of this as basis for an alternative ending fanfic /oneshot, this is the blanket permission for that.)
2024 - 2024 CLOSE ENOUGH WELCOME BACK ANON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
this is the ending Big Akasaka doesn't want you to see!!!
ok no all jokes aside I still really love this!!!! I think this is basically my ideal ending for the Oshi no Ko we got - obvs if you start really diverging from the canon material you can do basically anything with it but I think when I was still in my "surely aqua will live <- clueless" era immediately post 163, this is the kind of ending I was imagining - bittersweet and still marked by tragedy and trauma but that at least allowed everyone to start the process of getting back on their feet and working their shit out.

Second wild theory based on some thoughts and your tags that all Phee and Tan want is a confession: what if that's true? What if Phee and/or Tan gets the gun and starts an exposition drop about Non while holding the remaining boys are gunpoint and demanding answers and THEN THEY GET ATTACKED BY THE KILLER WHO IS NON'S BROTHER???
First, I need you to know that on a scale of "being completely normal about this show" to "if this show fails me, it'll be my villain origin story" that I'm currently FAR PAST the latter.
So with that being stated, I'm operating off of Wild Ass (Slasher) Theory 101 for this show aka
We've already met the killers and brother.
TLWR: Non is still alive. And it's all Dr. Sammon and Pit Babe's fault.
All the players are already on the board. We've seen all them in the first half, so now we are being reminded that we have seen them in the second half, like how the woman Keng was speaking to on the phone in episode seven about the money laundering was there in episode six.
Tumblr media
And Perth's character was there too. (In the background in the purple/black jackets with the grey shirt)
Tumblr media
So we've already met the brother somewhere in the first six episodes. Considering that two of those episodes were set in the past and Non would've noticed his brother, that means that we've seen the brother in the present.
Tumblr media
We all keep stating White or Tan is Non's brother. There are some theories Perth is Non's brother, but he didn't notice him the gambling hall, and if the parents are really sending money to their gambling son then what is life?
Tumblr media
White is my vote for final gay, and yours too. White is morally superior to the rest of the group and he is clever, which are two qualities a final girl must have. He also has a thin background story - he is dating Tee. Tan has no background story. He is simply everyone's friend who came along AFTER Non went missing; therefore, he is Non's brother.
Tumblr media
And I think that Phi and Tan wanted the boys to confess to whatever they did to Non. Phi's dad was and perhaps still is a police chief. Tee's uncle is possibly going to jail, but wanted Non dead. Perth's character might be an uncovered reporter like the lady speaking to Keng was, and maybe, just maybe, the knowledge of what happened to Non could be of use to somebody beyond just Tan and Phi.
So scare the living shit out of the boys? Sure! Terrify the hell out of them? Of course! Maybe stab them a little bit here and there? Well, when in Rome (or the woods), do as the Romans do. Give them some hallucinogenics? Duh! Yet I don't think they intended to kill any of them (well, at least not until they got the confession).
Tumblr media
But Por just had to run into the damn tree after seeing something in the camera.
Tumblr media
Which caused Phi to ask Fluke how long he could keep Por alive since they planned to get that confession before the next vehicle arrived. But then Fluke cancelled their Uber.
Tumblr media
White found the walkie-talkie that could be called for help. White found the gun that Fluke is now waving at everyone. White found the knife. White realized there was no cell phone service. White saw the tape. Pure and innocent White just keeps doing ALL the things that nobody asked him to do when WHITE WASN'T SUPPOSED TO EVEN BE THERE IN THE FIRST PLACE!
Tumblr media
But now we have Jin seeing Mr. Keng, and Fluke spilling all the tea as he screams that "these fuckers killed someone," so Tan is going to get what he came for one way or another, even if a couple of dead bodies have to be exchanged for him to finally hear what happened three years ago to his brother?
Tumblr media
And all of this makes sense in my head. Tan and Phi just wanted a confession. They didn't want anyone to die. However, they couldn't control every aspect of this weekend plan and shit went off the rails. Por ran into a tree. Fluke got a gun. Their Uber was cancelled. And now they have to figure out how to finish this murder mystery party when half the participants are losing their effing minds.
But then there is Uncle Dang.
Tumblr media
And our Troublesome Trio looked genuinely shooketh when they saw what had become of him.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
In Wild Ass (Slasher) Theory 101, nothing is supernatural. The killer can be everywhere because there is more than one killer, and that's why I'm praying Non is still alive.
Tumblr media
The boys made Non the killer. Jin said since Non wrote the killer, Non would understand him better than anyone else.
Uncle Dang died first in the original film. Por was the director who took Non's writing credit. Top was the next to die before he screamed "cut!" at everyone. Fluke was probably next after that. Tee replaced Non, so it would have been Tee and Jin in the end, and Jin was the original main character and final gay as he deserted Non in the woods.
Non is finishing his movie, the way he wrote it.
And this is where my crazy really kicks in.
Phi knows.
Tumblr media
Por, Fluke, Tee, Top, and Jin did a very bad thing to Non and ALL have seen and heard something out there in the woods.
White is Tee's boyfriend. He came around after Non went missing. He has seen a rash on his skin.
Tan is probably Non's brother. He wants a confession, but Tan saw something in the house that scared him.
Phi has seen . . . nothing. Phi has heard . . . nothing. He knew how to work the security system. He keeps giving orders. He continues to state the killer is a person.
And he'll do anything for Non.
Tumblr media
He was very upset at Non, but he did tell Non he'd forgive him . . . if Non got lost and died.
Tumblr media
Por, Fluke, Tee, Top, and Jin couldn't decide if Non was missing or dead, and the mafia is sending death threats and putting hits out on Non, so perhaps Non took a note from Pit Babe's Charlie and died. Or maybe he took a note from a different Tan and died (after killing his boyfriend).
Tumblr media
Dr. Sammon, the writer behind Manner of Death, and Pit Babe's writers are the writers for Dead Friend Forever. Pit Babe is based off a novel, but in the Venn Diagram of BLs in which someone fakes his death the overlap is very slim with Chains of Heart being the third, and surprisingly, the screen writer for that series also wrote the screenplay for Dr. Sammon's Make a Wish. The world is small.
So why not disappear? Why not fake his own death?
But also, why wait three years to show back up?
Tumblr media
Because the main threat is neutralized and awaiting jail time, but maybe, just maybe, Non hasn't been completely quiet for three years.
Tumblr media
Mr. Keng very well might have died from the mafia. He was warned to watch out knowing how dangerous investigating them could be.
But . . . what if somebody else killed him?
Tumblr media
Like I wrote at the beginning, I'm being crazy about this show. Wanting Non to be alive is very wishful thinking, but in my mind, if anyone is attacking these boys, I want it to be him. Tan seems pissed, but the most he has done is (intentionally) lose Top in the woods, and Phi is busy protecting Jin (because he wants to save him for last?), so they might start demanding answers in all this chaos, but if Phi's boyfriend died like Pit Babe's Charlie, don't you think he'd be like Barbie and forgive his boyfriend if he came back into his life magically? And don't you think he'd be willing to help his boyfriend get revenge on all the boys who left him for dead, especially the one who is about to leave the country forever?
Because I think he would.
Tumblr media
But, then again, Non could actually be dead and Jin could be a good guy who I keep incorrectly blaming for everything.
Tumblr media
Because it wouldn't be the first time Dr. Sammon killed a gay.
Tumblr media
But it would be the first time she kept him dead.
Tumblr media
So is this gonna be like Director Tee & Co. finally skipping out on a time jump when I needed it the most in Hidden Agenda even though that's what he is known to do, or is Dr. Sammon and the Pit Babe crew going to stick to the game plan and raise the gay from the dead?
Tumblr media
I guess I'll have to wait and see.

Hey!
I have recently entered the fandom and have yet to read the books, but I’ve kinda spoiled myself all of tvl. I was wondering what was lestat’s relationship with his older brothers, if anything was ever mentioned. I know his older brother is Augustin and that the second one wasn’t named, and I know the marquis’ viciousness and his relationship with Lestat, but I know close to nothing about how Lestat’s relationship with Augustin and the other one was. If he loved each other, if they didn’t, what Augustin and the other one thought of Lestat and vice versa.
Do you mind telling me more about them? I’m positive I won’t be able to read tvl for another few months, so I’d appreciate it :D
Hey!
Welcome :) Hope you will enjoy your stay here!
Lestat's... relationship with his brothers (six older brothers, but only two of those had survived into adulthood) is... not good, to put it simply.
They are the ones who go and drag him back when he tries to run away, who lock him up, and beat him. They are the ones who mock him, and berate him. They are the ones scolding him.
Augustin is the one directly named, and so there are a few instances where they talk, or better, where Augustin berates Lestat or scoffs when Lestat tells of the wolves, for example.
"You little bastard, " he said coldly. "You didn't kill eight wolves! "
I don't think there was much love lost between them (all), at least from their side, Lestat was too different, and too full of life for the way they lived at the castle. There is this note that Augustin had "spent his wife's small dowry as soon as he married her." Lestat's family is impoverished gentry, and literally living off the meat Lestat brings back from hunting by the time the wolves happen.
Augustine is also the one who initiates the scene with the "impossible", which is referred to in 1x01, when Louis goes out onto the Fairplay balcony - Nicolas gives Lestat the fur-lined cloak, and Augustin scoffs:
"Now he will really be impossible! "
Which then leads to Nicolas famously saying (and that is what Lestat says in french when Louis steps out there):
"I too am impossible, Monsieur, " he whispered as I gave him the parting kiss. "Someday, will you let me come to talk to you and tell me how you killed them all? Only the impossible can do the impossible. "
This comment by Nicolas is important, but Gabrielle's comment after is also, because:
"But why don't you go down to the town and make a friend of him? " she asked. "Why the hell should I do that? " I asked. "Lestat, really. Your brothers will hate it. And the old merchant will be beside himself with joy. His son and the Marquis's son. "
His brothers will hate it... and both Gabrielle and Lestat want to break free, from their life and from his brothers - her sons - have talked about breaking free at that point, and in that conversation, Lestat confessed to dreaming about killing them all:
"Mother, " I said in a low voice, "there is more to it. Before it happened, there were times when I felt terrible things. " There was no change in her expression. "I mean I dream sometimes that I might kill all of them, " I said. "I kill my brothers and my father in the dream. I go from room to room slaughtering them as I did the wolves. I feel in myself the desire to murder... "
The relationship between them is never resolved.
Lestat's brothers die in the revolution.
I am not sure how the show will spin it, but in the book he is turned before that happens - and with the turning came money, from Magnus, and despite all the bad blood, the beatings and insults, the being locked up... he sends gifts back home.
He goes and purchases toys for his nieces and nephews to send home, and sends money directly. Dreams about renovating and furnishing the castle.
When they die, he thinks about them, often, falls into a depression after Nicki's death, refers to them at the same time that he does think about Nicki.
They are on his mind, despite everything. And I think he loved them, despite everything. They were... family. But an abusive one.

I have a decent handful of questions about Cain and the twins :3
❤- How much would have changed about the twins if Cain had adopted them a lot earlier in their lives?
🧡- Is Cain the type of parent to annoy other people with pictures of them? :3
💛- How would Cain react to transmasc Sano in that au?
💚- I was going through your old head canon posts and you said that Cain was rejected by Rire, does that mean romantically or did something else happen?
💙- If yes and if they got back together, would they co-parent or Rire would be a step dad to the twins?
💜- I'm out of questions I just wanted to finish the rainbow of hearts, thank you :3c
♥️- A lot has changed actually! If it weren't for some of Cain's influence Sano probably wouldn't have learned so much about religion and what I think was a develop for a purity fetish. I think he heard of the idea and his brain kept obsessing over it. Sano also wouldn't have learned sewing and probably would've had a harder time making his doll dreams come true. And of course there's the obvious that the twins wouldn't have been able to get jobs since they lacked even highschool education. Akira wouldn't have learned how to properly read. This is mostly cause Cain has the money to send them to schools and what not.
🧡- Absolutely, at least with the pictures he has. Since he didn't RAISE the twins he's had to really utilize taking pictures of them while they still lived in his house. He loves showing them off. Enoch? Not so much but that's cause Enoch lowkey hates him.
💛- Wouldn't care. He's an angel, he already is above normal gender norms. He's done drag for funsies and thinks the war on sexes issue in the 60s was ridiculous. He's thinks all genders and sexualities are beautiful and doesn't understand why people have killed each other for it. He'd still love Sano no matter what.
💚- So, I plan to write this since it's actually canon, but it's just a project that's gonna take a lot of effort. Cain and Rire were friends at some point in the mid to late 1800s-1900s. Cain developed feelings for Rire, but I personally imagine Rire as being some form aromantic (since why would he fall in love when humans just die? People are playthings or pawns). Some demons founds out and since the holy wars (which I think is an EP canon event) was such an important war, it's fueled demon and angel discourse. They said he could either cut off Cain in front of them, or could lose his current title (I imagine this was before Rire had killed more demon royalty). So naturally, Rire publicly humiliates Cain when Cain confesses his love. It was kinda the perfect opportunity to do so. Cain ran crying to his brother, Abel (who I imagine exists in my rewrite, since Cain, Abel, and Enoch are not the ACTUAL Cain, Abel, and Enoch from the Bible. They're just angels who share the same name). Abel is more of a stickler of heavenly law, and thought it was insane Cain could betray his heavenly family by mingling with demons and having relationships with them. So, Abel tells God, God kicks him out of heaven, and Cain resents Rire (blaming him for being the reason he was kicked out.)
💙- Co-parent, but if they ever got together Rire would have probably not killed the kings of hell and would've reconsidered his torturing humans rhetoric
💜- hehhee I like purple :3

HUSKERDUST IS AMAZING!!! ... sort of
Okay, so, Hazbin Hotel. Obviously HUGE SPOILER WARNING ahead, but this show was fantastic! I've been a fan of Vivziepop's work for a while now, and even though I don't really enjoy Helluva Boss, I was really looking forward to Hazbin for many years. However, just because you really enjoyed something doesn't mean you can't acknowledge its flaws. And in a show with as many pacing issues as Hazbin, where do you even begin? Well, my personal main issue with the show was Huskerdust. Not because the ship isn't likeable, it's simply because most of what I didn't like about the show can link back to these two characters and their dynamic. So I guess I'm using them as my Trojan's horse in a way!
Huskerdust, which is the ship name between Husk and Angel Dust, is one of the main romances within Hazbin Hotel. Vivzie told us it would be a slow burn pretty early on, but honestly I think this ship is one of the fastest slow burns known to man. I mean, they had a cutesy little duet where they danced together in the fourth episode! This is tied to an underlying issue with the show's pacing all together. If Hazbin had more episodes like it should've, I think this "slow burn" concept would've worked better. Considering the fact we only had episodes, and the two characters still haven't really "confessed" or kissed yet, I suppose you could call it whatever you want to really.
The two characters and their dynamic is set up very early on, even in the pilot. It'll usually go something like, Angel will target Husk because he's the only one Angel can get a reaction out of in the hotel. Angel will do anything from making an innuendo, to literally sexually harassing Husk. And naturally, Husk will get frustrated because Angel is pushing his boundaries. Do I think it's weird that a show which talks about SA still uses sexual harassment as the butt of its jokes? Yeah, I think it's super weird and a little insensitive. But it's not my place to comment on such matters because I'm not properly educated, so I'm just gonna brush over it for now. It just makes this ship a little tough to swallow for me, considering Angel's blatant disregard for Husk's feelings.
However, even though Husk is the only one Angel can toy with at the hotel, Husk is also the only one who "sees through" Angel and the fake persona he uses as a means to cope and protect himself. This creates conflict, because Husk will call Angel out when Angel pushes his buttons, and Angel will get defensive and lash out. We see this in episode four; Masquerade. After a bad "shoot" with Valentino, Angel comes back to the hotel and gets into an argument with Husk which causes him to storm out. Charlie and Vaggie send Husk after him, and Husk finds Angel at a dive bar of some kind (I think).
Before we continue with Huskerdust, I've got something major I need to get off my chest about this episode. If Charlie is so "madly powerful' like Lucifer, and she knows Angel is being mistreated by Val, why can't she free Angel from his contract? Or at least try to talk to Angel about his situation after this episode? Maybe she did, and we just didn't see it because of the five-month-long time skip (which is another problem with this show's pacing), or maybe soul contracts work outside of angelic power. But I feel like it would've been nice if they told us that Charlie tried to help Angel more, just for my own peace of mind. Because to me, I just felt like Husk and Charlie brushed off the reality of Angel's situation very easily, regardless of that the fact that they're in Hell or not. I get that shitty things probably happen in Hell all the time, but c'mon!
Speaking of Charlie, this show does an awful lot of telling when it comes to Charlie's issues and not a lot of showing, Her "daddy issues" are one example of this, but right now I'm talking about how the characters often mention that Charlie solves everyone's problems to avoid her own. I thought this could be a interesting character flaw in hindsight, because wanting to solve everyone's problems for them can lead to a lot of boundaries being pushed, and character conflict arising. I was a bit surprised when Charlie immediately left the studio after Angel yelled at her, and seemed to handle is extremely maturely. She even goes as far as to blame what happened on herself when it was clearly Valentino's fault. While I think it's cool that Charlie handled everything so well, I also would've liked to see her struggle with this a little more. I think the concept of Charlie not knowing when to back off could be a good opportunity for some actual growth from her, instead of her development or growth just being explained to us every episode. Unfortunately though, Hazbin clearly didn't have the time for this kind of character work because the show is so plot heavy.
Back to the ship, once Husk finds Angel the two sing a song called Loser, Baby. Which is basically Husk trying to cheer Angel up and get him to stop self-loathing so much. I'll get a little personal for a minute and say if I was Angel this would not have worked on me at all. While I do think Angel has some self-hatred problems, his issues clearly run so much deeper than that. However, this was obviously just the first step in Angel's long road to healing I suppose, considering he only opened up to Husk so much. That being said, it's not like we even get to see Angel heal or develop further because of the time skip. Something else that rubbed me the wrong way with this whole scene was how Husk tried to relate to Angel by speaking about his own experience with Alastor. We find out that Husk used to be an Overlord, and that he lost his soul to Alastor in some kind of bet or card game. Alastor is one of our main characters, and they really put him up side by side with Valentino, out of the blue like that, like... Let's all think logically for a minute. This, combined with that one scene from episode five, made me like Alastor a little less. I understand that Alastor is sick and twisted, he's completely and undeniably evil. But seeing how his actions directly affect another member of our main cast was really off putting, and it put such a huge damper on this "found family" energy that Hazbin Hotel was clearly was aiming for.
Oh, and remember when I mentioned Valentino? Yeah, he's not safe either. I didn't even think twice about this character until one of my friends told me Val was their favorite character. It made me look back on all his scenes, and I realized something. He's actually really funny, and pretty entertaining to watch. Even the way he talks about Angel Dust when Angel Dust isn't present is played for the laughs. If anything, the way Val acted in episode four was a complete 180 from episode two. I thought this was a questionable writing choice, I'll be honest. Why would you purposefully write this character to be almost likeable to a certain extent, only to have him commit inexcusable crimes in the next episode. Look, if you're a Valentino fan, good for you. I'm not going to tell anyone not to like a certain character, because that's just not fair. I just personally disagree with the way Val was written. I think trying to paint Val as if he's just like every other character on this show whenever he's not actively abusing Angel really diminishes Angel's suffering from a viewer perspective.
I also feel like episode four kind of dug it's own grave in a sense, regardless of anything I've said so far. Because this episode is entirely about Angel Dust, he obviously gains development and growth from it. And in a show like Hazbin, with poor pacing and not enough time to flesh out characters, Angel's current development now sets him apart from anybody else in the entire series. Now even Charlie, the main character, seems one dimensional when compared to Angel Dust.
Circling back to Huskerdust again, I should probably acknowledge that Husk and Angel never even got another real one-on-one interaction after this episode for the rest of the show! Except for a really small one in episode six. But they literally exchange like three sentences, and about four or five months have passed between episode four and six, so do with that what you will. Not to mention, Husk refers to Angel as “kid” in one of these sentences. While I do think the age gap between Angel and Husk is strange, I feel like it’s easily defendable. I’m sure once Husk and Angel actually become a couple, Husk will stop calling Angel a kid. And we all know Angel isn’t a legal minor by any means. I don’t think it was necessary for the story though, and the two easily could’ve been made closer in age so this ship wouldn’t seem as… peculiar. Let's also remind ourselves that Huskerdust somehow has more substance than the main pre-existing couple. Yet again, this is just a side effect of "too much to do, not enough time to do it". But we will save the Chaggie discussion for another day...
So, do any of these things make Huskerdust bad? No, not in my opinion, at least. I'm still rooting for this ship no matter what, and I will personally be storming Prime Video HQ if they don't become canon next season. I think all ships and shows have their own problems, and for whatever reason the problems within Hazbin Hotel stood out to me more than I was expecting. Still, I did enjoy this show a lot. I might even do another post about it soon. And I'll definitely be counting down the days until season two drops!

hello! your writings are *chef's kiss* and almost read them all, more than twice.
Can we get a possessive female superhero who just defeated the previous villain because they were boring, met a new rookie villain who don't have powers but she can make powerful weapons but not enough to defeat superhero. thank you so much!
New Toy
Superhero groans, slamming the newspaper onto the table and throwing her head back. "Can't a girl get her morning coffee before having to deal with you little shits?"
She turns around, only to discover a scrawny little thing awkwardly standing nearby with a strange-looking weapon. Uh, right. The newspaper she was reading did mention a rookie scientist-turned-villain with no powers except for their brain. They were the new sensation. How utterly boring.
"I thought crime was supposed to happen at night?" Superhero taunts, expecting some form of witty banter in return. Smart villains were her favourite. It kept things interesting, at least for some time. The previous Villain was rather good at keeping her entertained. Still, things got stale, and the Villain wanted to retire and focus their attention elsewhere, so Superhero gave them that opportunity.
"I, uh... I didn't think about that," Villain confesses, rubbing the back of their head sheepishly. "We can reschedule?" They suggest, staring at Superhero with barely hidden admiration. That's new.
Superhero quirks an eyebrow at that, surprised by the response. Not many things could leave her speechless, but this thing right here managed to do just that. She gives Villain a quick once-over, taking in the lab rat look. How come you decided to be a villain? She can't ask that, so she opts for a simple nod.
"Sure thing." Part of her is tempted to tease them further, and she gives in to the urge. "You want my schedule or number to text your new arrangement?"
Villain's blush is so contrasting against their skin it cannot be concealed even by their mask. Superhero doesn't hold back her satisfied smirk. Well, aren't you delicious?
"N-no," Villain stutters out, their eyes dancing across Superhero's face, delighted at the smug smile of hers. The fact that she finds them exciting sends a shiver down Villain's spine, making their knees feel weak. They gulp, collecting themself before speaking in a more determined tone. "I challenge you to a fight. Central square, 7 pm."
Superhero nods, watching Villain clutch their weapon like a lifeline. Interesting. What did that pretty head come up with? She wants to know that. She wants to know Villain, too, but it can wait. Right now, Superhero needs to fight them in front of an audience to lay her claim on Villain. To make them her nemesis. Very own personal enemy that only she gets to play with.
"Okay, 7 pm it is," she accepts, her eyes sparkling with a forgotten sort of excitement. This should be fun.
Villain smiles before remembering they should attempt an intimidating look. They furrow their eyebrows in a pathetic attempt to look anything but cute, then get on their motorcycle, zooming away. Once they are several streets away, they come to a halt, peeling their mask off to allow the wind to soothe their burning skin.
What. The. Hell. Did. Just. Happen?
They've never felt this flustered in their entire life, and that was telling something. How on Earth were they supposed to fight their own idol? Villain had no idea. But they had to think fast because their date battle was mere hours away.
Superhero watches them disappear down the street, her mind already occupied by the sweet little Villain who decided to stand against her. It was cute, really. She chuckles, shaking her head as she picks up the newspaper, her eyes running over the titles as she sips her coffee. If there's one thing she knows for sure, it's that tomorrow morning, there will be news about her new toy Villain.
A/N: Hi, love! I've had this request for a while, kept coming back to it and finally, it's here. This snippet took a turn I did not expect it to take, if I'm honest xD Nevertheless, I hope you enjoy reading this. Thank you for the request and for reading, I appreaciate it! <3 Love, Sunny xo

Cautionary Tale: ??
Story:
Aphidsong's first memory was walking into the WindClan camp with her mother, just barely fitting beneath her belly where she hid alongside her brother.
Though it was hazy, she remembered the fear that mixed with awe when she looked around at all the cats, more than she even thought existed in the world, all staring at her and her family.
The fact that the first hints of the cruel, prejudicial life of the Clans can be caught in those earliest moments could be considered upsetting, to say the least, but Aphid, only two moons old then, had failed to notice the unsure and downright hostile glances some cats sent her, and her little ears couldn't pick up the arguments made to send the little family out for the crime of not having warrior blood. Or perhaps her brain had not understood the gravity of what they were saying and simply chose for her to forget.
By the time she was old enough to see the glances or hear the comments and know what they mean, most of her Clanmates had already stopped long ago, and now treated her, her brother, and her mother with as much respect as they would any blood-born Clanmate. The others consisted mainly of the elders who were stuck in their ways, and though they frustrated her greatly, she knew not to take them seriously.
It didn't hurt that a warrior, Dogleaf, caught feelings for Misha shortly after she joined the Clan and became the adoptive father of Aphid--now Aphidkit and Larch--now Larchkit.
Her kithood, apprenticeship, and early warriorhood were filled with little triumphs, shared laughter, and a spark of curiosity for every new thing she came across. It was the happiest time of her life. She later came to realize that much of that joy came from ignorance.
The first sign--or at least, the first sign that she noticed--appeared through her best friend, Charhoot. They had been close for moons and Aphidsong knew her friend to be nonchalant and easy-going, so when he became visibly stressed, she became concerned.
He confessed that he had been getting more and more pressure from his family to find a mate, and that it was getting to the point where he couldn't have a single conversation with any of them without them bringing it up, whether they were trying to convince him in earnest or were looking to tease him for his lack of a pretty she-cat by his side.
Aphidsong had joked that of course he has a pretty she-cat by his side, she's right here! It was only meant to be a joke, of course, she felt no romantic feelings for Charhoot, who was more of a brother than anything else. Meanwhile, he too felt no romantic feelings for her, nor any she-cat--which was the problem.
That was all it was at first, a joke. They had both laughed then before talking more and then moving on. But as time passed, the pressure from Charhoot's family grew, until he couldn't go a single second without the thought of it causing him immense stress.
Aphidsong and Charhoot had talked seriously then. They both vehemently agreed that neither liked the other in that way, but decided that for the sake of getting the pressure off of Charhoot's back, they would become 'mates.'
They wouldn't really be mates, it would simply be a fake relationship so that Charhoot didn't have to hear more comments about how time was running out. They didn't pretend to be more lovey and continued to act the same way around each other as they always had, justifying that they could act however they wanted, no one could prove that they weren't mates. Though when some cats said how they "always knew" or how Charhoot and Aphidsong were "meant for each other," both friends wanted to barf. It was even harder not to laugh.
Things were okay for a while. Then Charhoot's parents decided that their son finding a good mate wasn't enough--they wanted grandkits.
No, no. Stars, no.
Neither Aphidsong nor Charhoot were even going to consider that, and both had to only look at each other to see the same "that's disgusting, we're not doing that" look reflected in the other's eyes.
Worse yet, Charhoot's parents talked to Aphidsong's, and now the pressure was coming from both sides. The friends told their families that they weren't ready for that, but it became apparent that they couldn't keep that excuse forever. The more time that passed, the more insistent their families would be, and what would they tell them then? That they can't have kits because they have been lying to them for moons and had never actually been mates? The fallout of that conversation was not one they were willing to witness.
In attempts to avoid the topic entirely, Aphidsong and Charhoot took any reason they could get to stay out of the camp. When they weren't on patrol, either together or separately, they were 'spending quality time together.' To their families, that meant...well, they didn't care to know what they thought it meant, but for them it meant that they could hang out together as best friends without any 'aw, what good mates' remarks or judgements of how the Clan should be expecting kittens soon--gross. They could just be friends and hang out.
One day, Charhoot had left the camp before Aphidsong, who had been assigned den-repair duty. When she had finally been able to leave, hoping to catch up with him after catching a young grouse, she followed his scent trial to WindClan's far border.
There, she found him meeting with another tom with a perfectly circular nick in his ear.
He was flustered and embarrassed to be caught, while she was embarrassed to intrude. At first, Charhoot began to quickly say how they were just talking and Charhoot wanted to be polite, but then as his breathing slowed and he had a chance to think for a moment who he was justifying himself to, he dropped the lies quickly and told her the truth.
Charhoot had met the tom while on a solo-patrol when the tom spotted him from atop the barn that was his home and called out. Charhoot had never seen a cat on top of the barn before, so his curiosity was instantly piqued.
Charhoot admitted that he kept meeting with the barn cat--Mustache, and that he had caught feelings quickly.
Aphidsong had no qualms against her friend meeting with a cat from outside the Clan, whether or not it was for romantic purposes. She was only thrilled to see him so happy and in love. She offered to be his alibi, saying that she and him could leave the camp together and return together, and he and Mustache could meet up in the time between.
With more time to herself to hunt and patrol, it wasn't too long before Aphidsong was also meeting with a tom on the border. Creeklight was as funny as he was kind, Aphidsong's first impression of him being when he tumbled into the stream that separated their Clans after leaping into the air to catch a blackbird. She had been unable to resist laughter, and instead of becoming angry or ashamed, he just laughed with her until both had trouble breathing.
Now that both friends had a love outside of the Clans and both knew of the other's love, doubts began to crawl in, concerns that they expressed to each other.
If they hated living in their Clan so much that they avoided camp every day, should they just leave? They still loved their families dearly, and had other good friends that would make it tough to part. At the same time, they hadn't been as happy in recent moons as they have been after meeting with their respective mates. Their true mates. Maybe they should embrace that happiness, that freedom.
After thinking on it long and hard, Charhoot was the first to go, leaving for the barn after Aphidsong encouraged him to take the leap. Though they no longer lived in the same Clan, the friends kept in touch. Charhoot showed Aphidsong around the farm, and she would come to visit as frequently as possible.
Without her friend in the Clan with her, Aphidsong felt her connection to WindClan was growing weaker and weaker, while her bond with Creeklight was increasing.
Finally, inspired by Charhoot and how much happier he seemed to be with his love and away from the pressures of his parents, she decided that she, too, could take the leap.
It went downhill from there.
The ThunderClan cats protested greatly against letting her in. Being a Clan-swapper was bad enough, the fact that she wasn't Clanborn only made it worse.
Aphidsong was surprised. She had thought her heritage was long passed her. She served her Clan all her life. The only reason she was leaving it was to be with someone that she loved.
Shrewstar, ThunderClan's leader, was as hostile as his most vocal warriors, and made sure to let Aphidsong know, publicly, that the only reason he was allowing her to stay was for Creeklight's sake.
Aphidsong wondered if Creeklight would have been met with the same level of opposition had he been the one to join her. Somehow, she knew the answer was no.
It was worth it, though. She could freely be with Creeklight, able to patrol with him and share tongues and sleep in the same nest without having to sneak around or worry about getting caught.
It was harder to see Charhoot then, due to now having WindClan between them, but the friends still worked to see each other. Charhoot knew of the situation--Aphidsong had told him before she left, and together they came up with a plan to follow the stream just past the ThunderClan and WindClan borders whenever they wanted to hang out.
That was easier said than done. Between being a new addition to the Clan and not having the full trust of her Clanmates to be alone while on patrol and the longer trek for both cats, the opportunity to meet up was fewer and fewer.
One day, the meeting was witnessed by Hazelfox, Creeklight's sister who never shied from letting her distaste of his relationship known. She had confronted Aphidsong when she had returned to ThunderClan, and brought her right before Shrewstar and the rest of the Clan, despite Aphidsong's pleads for silence.
Aphidsong had tried to say that she was only meeting with her friend, but because of the lie she and Charhoot had created, cats were quick to accuse her of infidelity. It didn't make sense for Aphidsong to move farther away from Charhoot in order to meet up with him, but no reasoning Aphidsong could come up with would change their minds.
Life in ThunderClan became harder for Aphidsong after that. The few friendships she was able to form had evaporated within seconds now that everyone believed her to be a cheater, and those that already disliked her joining the Clan became outright venomous. She couldn't so much as walk across the camp without having several pairs of eyes staring daggers at her.
Now, she was a former loner, Clan-swapper, and a cheater who probably manipulated poor Creeklight, who all of sudden is not a traitor but instead a poor tom who was blinded by love.
Creeklight was a whole other issue, as he didn't believe Aphidsong, either.
Aphidsong had tried desperately to tell him the truth, to get him to believe her, but she couldn't tell him why she and Charhoot are only friends now after being 'mates' for moons, she couldn't tell him that it was all a lie because even if word didn't spread to her and Charhoot's families, she didn't want to out Charhoot to a cat he hardly knew. It hurt worse than shattered bones to see Creeklight so devastated, and living with ThunderClan would be incredibly hard, but she would rather have cats think poorly of her than think poorly of Charhoot.
Creeklight didn't break up with her, as Aphidsong had expected, albeit with a heavy heart, but he wanted her to prove her loyalty to him.
She had pointed out that she left her Clan and family to be with him, but he was insistent, claiming that he could never be sure if she truly loved him or truly loved Charhoot, not without having his kits. If they became a family, it would solidify their relationship, as well as Aphidsong's place in the Clan.
Aphidsong had told him before that she wasn't sure if she would ever have kits, a fact she reminded him of. Perhaps, one day, she would, but today was not anywhere near that day.
When she refused, he acted pitiful and sad, claiming that her refusal was proof, that if she loved him she would do it, that they were going to have kits one day, so why not now?
The pushier he was, the angrier Aphidsong became. She would be damned if she was going to put herself through two moons of pregnancy, six moons of sitting around in the nursery, and to top it off, a lifetime of motherhood--something she wasn't even sure if she wanted at all yet--just to appease him. Not to mention how painful the labor itself would be!
He became angry too, until the argument became a shouting match and Aphidsong decided that if he couldn't trust her without her mutilating her body for him, than they should just break up.
Terrified at that and enraged all at once, Creeklight shoved at Aphidsong without thinking. She stumbled back, nearly losing her footing on a ravine's edge. He blinked at her, shocked, but instead of helping her right herself, he pushed at her again and sent her tumbling down onto the rocks below.
Aphidsong couldn't remember much after that second shove, but she didn't black out. There was pain, she knew that, hot fire scorched across her face. She felt a wetness pooling around her body, and half the world was darker than usual.
She would later learn that she was in a state of shock after a patrol had found her and lifted her out. Apparently Creeklight was remorseful and told the Clan what had happened when he got back. Or, well, he told them that she 'fell'.
Again, no one believed her. She hissed at Creeklight, demanding he stay away. She tried to tell the medicine cat who bandaged her face, tried to tell Shrewstar, heck, she tried to tell anyone who was within earshot to hear her.
They thought she was either misremembering things after her head trauma, had simply been confused, or that she was downright making things up.
Creeklight, meanwhile, went unpunished. He was nothing but a hardworking, noble warrior with a heart of gold, still able to love and bring supplies to the she-cat that cheated on him and accused him of harming her.
It would be a lie to say that Aphidsong didn't doubt herself. Was she remembering wrong? What if Creeklight really had been trying to help her?
No.
If it had happened once, maybe there would be a chance she was wrong, but he did it twice. He had pushed her, and he did it deliberately, and now he was the hero who ran to the camp for help, a loving mate for always checking on her, and she was the heartless fox for snapping at him to leave every time he came near her.
She didn't care if he regretted it, as he had tried to tell her when no one else was around to hear. The fact of the matter was that he did it, and he did it because she dared refuse to have his kits.
She missed Charhoot.
She wanted to see him again, to go back to the days when everything was fine, when everything was happy. But she was confined to the medicine den for the next who-knew how long. She didn't know how badly she was injured, there were no puddles in the camp to see her reflection. She only knew that bandages covered much of her face, and that she couldn't see out of her one eye anymore.
Even if she could leave, Aphidsong wasn't sure if she had the energy to. Sorrow weighed heavily on her chest, pulling her into a pit of deep depression that she saw no light in. If she wasn't sleeping, either dreaming of the blissful days of younger-year or having nightmares of her life now, she was staring blankly at the wall.
Sometimes, something would set her off. The sound of a rock smacking onto the ground as kits played pebble-toss, the wind picking up as it had then, or even nothing at all. It all gave her intense, uncontrollable anxiety so deep it shook her bones.
Though not unsympathetic to these episodes, Sloehoney, the medicine cat, never gave her anything more than poppy seeds. He told her that he would consider something more if her episodes persisted longer than a moon, but she had overheard him talking to Shrewstar just outside of the den, claiming that WindClan warriors were fragile, and loners even more so, and that he was sure her apparent symptoms felt real to her, but she was probably just being dramatic. Shrewstar didn't argue, instead he agreed and suggested that Aphidsong was only making things seem worse than it was to get out of work. After all, she had been in the medicine den for nearing four moons now.
Had it really been so long?
Aphidsong was shocked. The days had melted together, and her sleep schedule was off. Still, four entire moons? Those were moons she would never get back, a chunk of her life gone all because of Creeklight, and the bastard got off scot-free, able to experience every day like it was nothing, like just having to wake up wasn't the hardest thing in the world.
Then a miracle happened. He fell sick.
Aphidsong was wary at first, fur bristling as he was moved into the medicine den with her. She spent the next several days backed against the wall, as far from him as she was able to get. In those days, she watched as he grew weaker and weaker, staying awake for less time, forming less coherent sentences.
She saw as Sloehoney only had to nudge at his lips for Creeklight to open his mouth to swallow down the medicine he needed, not even opening his eyes anymore to see what was being fed to him.
Technically speaking, that was when an idea began to form, though at the time there was a disconnect between Aphidsong's mind and her body. No plan was formed that she was consciously aware of, no step-by-step strategy or devise scheme.
She slipped out of camp on her body's accord. Her mind was elsewhere, numb, unable to so much as take in the feel of the grass beneath her paws or the clear night sky above her. It had been forever since she had seen it.
When those berries were in her paws, when her eyes--eye was looking at it, that's when everything came rushing to her and Aphidsong jumped back with the same terror as if she had been pounced on by a fox.
Had she really been about to do it?
She looked around wildly, at the shadows around her, hearing the hoot of an owl in the distance. She shouldn't be out here, she shouldn't be doing...what was she about to do? She began to run back in the direction of the camp.
In her haste, Aphidsong slipped in mud, and landed with a thump and splash in a puddle.
Her bandages had been removed at this point, but this was the first time she was out of camp, and the first time she saw...
It was horrible.
Laying, bruised, partially caked in mud and drenched in water, she could only stare down at the face that she couldn't recognize. The scar was ugly, red, digging from her cheek to her ear, nearly splitting her face in two. The eye it covered was closed shut. Aphidsong wasn't sure if she could open it. She wasn't sure if she wanted to, or if she wanted to see...
Her good eye was wrong, too. It wasn't marked, wasn't even scratched, but it held a darkness beneath them, heavy bags that marked her face as clearly as the scar. Her ears drooped low, as did seemingly everything about her.
Who was this cat? This wasn't her. She was Aphidsong, happy, cheerful, energetic, and loud. This cat...this was a stranger. This wasn't the she-cat that had rolled down the hills with her brother. This wasn't the apprentice that got scolded for laughing too much during training. It wasn't the she-cat who could still smile and have fun, even when her family was pressuring her.
No, this cat was...
It couldn't be her...
It couldn't be her!
What had happened to her?!
What had that bastard done to her?!
With energy she hadn't felt in moons, Aphidsong stood and raced back to camp. This time, her mind was clear. Focused. She wasn't going to stop herself this time.
Any cat awake didn't notice her, because they were distracted by a Clanmate's active labor in the nursery. That also meant that Sloehoney was out of the den, and probably wouldn't be back for a while.
Aphidsong hadn't went back for the deathberries. She didn't need them. She stood over Creeklight, her shadow making him blink open his eyes. She only allowed him a moment to see her, to know who was there, before she held him down with her paws, suffocating him as she forced his muzzle into her fur.
His struggles were muffled and weakened by sickness. Before too long, Creeklight's movements stilled as he went limp. Aphidsong's heart pounded, the sound echoing through her ears. She got up and returned to her nest, pretending to fall asleep, staring at the opposite wall, eye wide at what she had just done.
She had just killed someone.
She was a murderer.
And yet...no guilt sunk in.
Aphidsong didn't regret what she did, nor did she take pleasure in it. Rage guided her paws, but so did the belief that if Creeklight was gone, the nightmares would stop. If he was dead, then she could go back to normal.
Things just weren't so easy.
Aphidsong sat for the vigil. She didn't do it for him, she just didn't want more cats on her back if she avoided it. She listened to the fond memories they shared, how Creeklight was such a good Clanmate and friend and how much everyone in ThunderClan would miss him. She wanted to scream at them all, remind them of what he had done to her, the agony he had put her through. She wanted to show them how horrible he truly was, but they didn't believe her then. None of them believed her. Why would that change now?
She wondered what would be said at her own vigil when the time came. Did any of these cats even know her? Did any of them even care to learn who she was? How many knew that her favourite prey was wagtail? Or that she hated leaf-bare but loved to catch snowflakes when they first began to fall?
Would they say anything nice about her? Or would they not say anything at all?
Four moons in the medicine den, and not one cat had stopped by to visit her, her attacker not included. Well, that wasn't true. Hazelfox stopped by to yell at her for 'spreading lies' about her brother.
Aphidsong wanted to leave. Needed to. Her parents and brother must hate her for abandoning them. Would they take her back if she begged? She decided that giving it a shot would be better than life here. If they turned her down, she could always go to the barn. She knew Charhoot wouldn't turn her away.
But Aphidsong couldn't leave just yet. She was out of the medicine den by this time, her face as healed as it could get. But all that time spent sitting or laying down had weakened her legs. She couldn't walk without stumbling. She had thought she would be fine, after all, she had managed to run in the forest before, but apparently her spiraling thoughts and high adrenaline had distracted her from the pain in her limbs.
She needed a little more time before she would be able to make the trek to WindClan's border, where all of this started. She should have never met Creeklight. She should have never left everything for him. She thought that she would have a fresh start, a new life. She hadn't thought that everything would be taken from her and nothing would be left. It wasn't supposed to be like this.
Finally, when she was sure she could make it, she headed for Shrewstar's den. She wasn't going to leave without a word, not that these cats deserved her reasoning. But when she neared, she overheard him discussing the kits' apprenticeship.
He and Longhowl thought carefully about each young cat, carefully choosing which mentor would fit specific personalities and temperaments.
Then the conversation moved on to Tansykit, an abandoned loner found on the edge of the territory. They talked about how much trouble she would have keeping up with the warrior-blooded apprentices, how her adoptive mother tried to toughen her up, but Tansykit would complain that she was mean. They laughed about it, chuckling about loners and their soft hearts. Longhowl suggested someone tough for her, someone stern and strong and who would surely train the loner out of her.
Aphidsong's heart was racing. She had little time to move away so that it didn't look like she was eavesdropping when the conversation abruptly ended and Longhowl left the den. She didn't move in time, and he noticed her at the mouth of the den, questioning what she was doing.
Aphidsong told him that she had to speak with Shrewstar and slipped past him before she could say anything.
Now was her chance.
She would tell Shrewstar that she was going to leave, and then she would, and all of this, all of the bad memories and pain and the horrible thing she had to do would be behind her. She would return to WindClan and be with her family and friends and cats that loved her and she would visit Charhoot every day and she would laugh again and share food with other cats and she would sleep without being woken up by nightmares, and she would....she would....
Shrewstar asked her what she wanted.
She opened her mouth, tongue going dry.
Then, without really thinking, hardly knowing she was speaking, she told him that she wanted to mentor Tansykit.
He seemed unsure at first, but she told him that she wanted to make up for the moons she spent healing and unable to contribute, how as a former loner herself, she would know the best way to handle someone like Tansykit. She was insistent, near demanding, until Shrewstar gave in with a shrug and agreed.
Aphidsong left the den, wondering what the hell she had just done.
It was a choice made without real thought, and one that she would spend that night clawing at herself for.
But when it came time for Tansypaw's apprentice ceremony, seeing the glow in the young she-cat's eyes as well as the nervous flick of her tail, her regret loosened its grip and a wave of affection washed over her.
In the next several moons as she trained the apprentice and gotten to know her, that regret disappeared completely. The affection, meanwhile, strengthened tenfold.
Aphidsong loved Tansypaw. The little cat was so full of energy and a desire to learn, taking in the world around her with wide eyes, and a smile on her face even when she messed up. She reminded Aphidsong of herself at that age, though the two also had many differences. Tansypaw preferred hunting over fighting, her sense of humour differed from Aphidsong's, she struggled to sleep at night and was tough to wake at dawn, while Aphidsong was a deep-sleeper and an early riser.
Those things were so small and unimportant. Aphidsong didn't care if Tansypaw's favourite meal was mice feet. How could that matter to her when Tansypaw's giggly smile could light up a moonless night?
It was exactly what Aphidsong needed. She had spent so long being sad and alone and angry and numb. For the first time in what must have been forever, she felt like herself again.
Tansypaw would make jokes, and Aphidsong would laugh, before silently gasping and wondering how long it had been since the last time she had laughed like that.
There were sadder moments, too. Tansypaw knew of the things other cats would say about her, and when she struggled with something, she would blame herself for being so weak.
Aphidsong refused to allow her to think such things. When Tansypaw apologized for struggling, for not being able to keep up because she was stupid, Aphidsong would sit with her and hold her close. And when Tansypaw stopped rambling and took a breath, Aphidsong would assure her that she is smart and capable, and she just needs more time, and that was okay.
She would calmly ask Tansypaw what parts were confusing her, what tasks she was struggling with, and would listen to the apprentice until they could figure out together where the problem was. Sometimes it was something as simple as the way Aphidsong worded her directions.
At first, Tansypaw blamed herself for not understanding, thinking it should be so easy and she was an idiot for not getting it. After talking with Aphidsong, she became more and more comfortable with speaking up when she was having trouble. Every time, Aphidsong would listen to her patiently and explain things in a different way. Sometimes she would have to go further than that, using visuals to help explain.
Never once did she sigh or roll her eyes or show the slightest bit of annoyance. She knew that if she had left that day, Tansypaw's mentor wouldn't have been nearly as patient. The poor thing would be miserable.
Aphidsong couldn't keep her safe forever.
During a harsh leaf-bare, Aphidsong and the apprenticeless patrol she was with was caught in a sudden snowstorm. Though no cat had gotten frostbite, their condition was bad enough to keep them confined to camp for the next two days.
Tansypaw was given to another warrior to train while Aphidsong recovered. Aphidsong listed everything the temporary mentor, Billowpelt, needed to know, including the fact that Tansypaw greatly struggled with balance and that he should avoid any place covered in slippery ice. She suggested he stick to the mossy clearing, where the moss gave something Tansypaw could grip onto, and the overhead trees blocked out most of the snowfall.
Billowpelt hadn't listened.
That stupid, worthless tom! He had taken Tansypaw to the iciest part of the territory, explaining later that he had thought Aphidsong was going too soft on Tansypaw and that it was the best way for Tansypaw to learn how to balance without issue.
Instead, she had slipped, snapping her neck.
Aphidsong had been too shocked to say anything right away. But then came the vigil. When Billowpelt spoke, he didn't apologize for causing Tansypaw's death, for deliberately putting her safety in jeopardy. No, he put on a frown and stated that maybe it was for the better, that loners like Tansypaw couldn't make it in Clan life and it was better she died now, quickly, then suffer more in the future when she was unable to fight in battle or hunt in another leaf-bare.
He made it seem like it was all her fault, her own death, and not one cat--not even Tansypaw's adoptive parents or littermates--spoke against it.
Aphidsong couldn't take it. She lunged at Billowpelt, tackling him to the ground and clawing as she screamed. Screamed at him for not listening, screamed at him for blaming Tansypaw for dying when he should have protected her, screamed at him for calling Tansypaw a weak loner when it was comments like that that made Tansypaw doubt herself in the first place.
She was a good cat, a really good cat!
He clawed her back, and the two were caught in a whirlwind of tooth and claws until finally several cats got between them and pulled them apart.
Shrewstar snapped at Aphidsong, demanding how she dare disrupt a vigil in such an awful way. Didn't she care a cat was dead?
Aphidsong had glared at him, glared at all of them. She yelled how none of them truly cared, they were just pretending to. They looked at Tansypaw, a bright and curious young cat, and saw nothing but another mouth to feed, a waste of space, a cat that was useless because she wasn't born with warrior-blood. There was so much more to Tansypaw. Even when she was exhausted from a long training session, she never let Aphidsong leave without a smile on her mentor's face. Even when she was hurt and struggling, and even when her own littermates teased her, she would worry about them and how they were doing. She was the kindest, funniest, most amazing cat in all the Clans, but not one of her Clanmates other than Aphidsong even knew it because all anyone else could see was a weakling loner.
The Clan was cowed, ducking their heads as Aphidsong stopped to eye every single one of them. Then she spat, telling them that she hoped the frost kills them all, before leaving without another word.
She hated them, hated every single one.
She hated Creeklight for trying to manipulate her. She hated him for trying to murder her and scarring her for life, and she hated that he never confessed to the truth when everyone thought she was lying.
She hated the whole of ThunderClan for thinking she was lying about something so horrible. Not one cat--not one cat--believed her. No one in that Clan ever stood up for her. They all just left her to rot in the medicine den, going by their days as if she weren't completely breaking down.
The few friends she thought she had made when she first joined turned their backs on her without a second thought, without hearing her out.
She knew that Shrewstar hated her for being WindClan. For being a loner. Sloehoney, too. All that time with him and the two have never grown close. Sloehoney had always treated her like a burden to be delt with rather than a cat to help or friend to talk to.
It was all their fault that Aphidsong's old self is such a stranger to her. It was all their fault that Tansypaw was always so anxious she would screw up, because they judged her more than the others because she had loner-blood. It was all their fault that Tansypaw died.
Why did they deserve to live when Tansypaw was rotting beneath the ground, meal to the worms?
That's just it.
They didn't.
Plans began to form, the first of which were inefficient.
Aphidsong saw a warrior hunting on their own and attacked, but though she had managed to end the ThunderClanner's life, it had been a struggle that left her panting for breath. There was no way she could deal with all of the Clan like this.
She pulled the body into the stream so that her scent couldn't be traced. They would likely suspect her, but room for speculation gave her room to escape.
As she sat on the bank, her eyes drifted, stopping on two red berries shining in the starlight.
Poisoning the prey didn't work as she had hoped. No one grabbed the already-dead mice and birds, perhaps thinking that they were sick. Getting living animals to eat poison wasn't exactly a cake-walk either, and the one vole that was stupid enough to take the bait didn't survive the poison long enough to be hunted.
Aphidsong was growing increasingly frustrated. She was about to take her anger out on a tree trunk when movement caught her eye and she ducked, sheathing her claws.
It was Sloehoney, out and looking for....herbs.
It was perfect! Cats digested them, put them on open wounds, and because the victims would be cats already sick or injured, no one would notice something was wrong until it was too late!
As soon as Sloehoney was gone, Aphidsong got to work. She knew exactly which plants were herbs and which weren't, having spent four moons beside then.
She would take deathberries and squeeze their juice out and onto the plants, making sure they were nice and coated.
She wasn't sure how well the juice worked in respect to the rest of the berry, so she made sure to shake it up now and again. Some deadly nightshade here, some yew there, some holly berries sprinkled between.
After a while, she couldn't stand not being able to see them all suffer, so she crept toward the hollow slowly and carefully until finally she reached the cliff's edge and peered down below.
It was a delight to see how few cats were in camp. She guessed the rest were either all in the medicine den or beneath the ground. Though she was a fair distance away, she could see how exhausted Shrewstar was, worry for his Clanmates wearing him down, and she smiled at his misery.
She couldn't find Sloehoney. She wondered if all that handling the tainted herbs had killed him.
It was finally time to leave. She covered as many herbs as she could find one final time for good measure, before setting off across the border.
She stopped at the stream where she had dropped the body a moon earlier, where she had met Creeklight and made the worst decision of her life. Taking back that decision in one movement, she leapt over the stream and landed back on WindClan territory. She had slipped a little, her vision not being what it used to be, but it still felt as good as a clean landing on a thin precipice.
She considered going back home, but she knew it was too late for that. Maybe she would stay with Charhoot at the barn. Maybe she would explore and make up for the time she lost.
Before any of that, though, she had to eat.

Cautionary Tale: ??
Story:
He loved the family he was adopted by. Sprigbirch was loving and incredibly protective, and Adderstripe always gave them the best gifts whenever he returned from a patrol. Neither ever treated Charkit differently from their biological sons, who were two moons older than he was, and they never bothered Charkit for not being Clanborn.
While Charhoot wished to know who his biological parents were and their reasons for leaving him, it wasn't so important that it weighed on his mind as anything more than a mild interest. He was sure they did what they thought was best, either because he remembered how thin they had been when he last saw them, memories that replayed in his mind as fuzzy dreams, or because he wanted to believe in the best of them. It was easier that way.
Aphidkit was soon to become an apprentice by the time Charkit was old enough to explore the camp, and she took it upon herself to show the young one around, excitedly pointing out the different areas--best places to hide for hide-and-seek, the dens, and every detail both important and nonconsequential. She was so eager, she was more energetic than the younger kit.
The two formed a quick bond then, a relationship that would only grow and strengthen as time went on, until eventually that friendly relationship would need to become an outwardly-appearing courtship.
Charhoot thought he could ignore the comments at first, just brush his parents off. They bothered his brothers too, so the pressure was at least spread between them, but then Mitecloud and Flecktooth both found mates and Adderstripe's and Sprigbirch's attention narrowed right on him.
He wasn't sure if he could just tell them the truth--he didn't know of anyone in WindClan or any Clan that was like him. Every she-cat liked a tom, every tom liked a she-cat. If he told his family that he liked toms, how would they react?
He couldn't tell them directly. Instead, he tried to bring up same-sex relationships in a general sense to gauge their reactions, lying that he had seen two loners a while across the border that were cuddling like mates, though both were toms. Interesting, wasn't it? What did they think?
While neither Adderstripe nor Sprigbirch seemed outright disgusted by the idea, which was a relief, both made it clear that such a relationship is good for loners, but not Clan cats. Clan cats need to be sure that each generation would provide kits for the next, and that simply couldn't happen if two toms were mates or two she-cats were mates.
That was that, then. Charhoot couldn't tell them. He couldn't tell anyone, only Aphidsong, who already guessed it because she had caught him mooning over another tom at the gathering once when they were apprentices
Though Charhoot's 'relationship' with Aphidsong provided temporary shelter against the barrage of 'hurry ups' and 'find a pretty she-cat,' it couldn't protect Charhoot against the pain that was building inside.
Having a fake mate to get his parents off his back was one thing, but Charhoot wondered more and more if he would never get to live with a real mate who he actually romantically loved if he kept living in the Clans.
Perhaps that is why he was so intrigued when Mustache first called out to him, and why he kept going back more and more.
He was grateful to Aphidsong for covering for him. Stars, he was so grateful to her for everything.
Even when he told her that he was considering leaving the Clan to live with Mustache, she wasn't angry. She only smiled, always so cheerful, and encouraged him to take the leap. By this time, he knew that she had her own out-of-WindClan relationship, and gave her the same advice.
Leaving WindClan was the best decision Charhoot had ever made, but that didn't mean he wasn't scared out of his mind when he did it. He worried if he was making the wrong choice, wondered how hurt his parents and other friends were.
At the same time, the air felt so much less constricting. The world felt bigger, brighter, and Charhoot was eager to explore it. He looked around his new home with awe.
The more he was away, the more the guilt slowly evaporated. Charhoot found it easier to sleep, and that the cold ice in his chest was gone.
That bad feeling returned, however, when again and again Aphidsong failed to meet up with him. He began to worry for her safety, but when he had tried to visit, he was chased off by a patrol, who yelled at him to leave her alone, as she had a 'new mate now.'
He didn't hold it against her, he doubted she even knew anyone was chasing him off, and at least their words confirmed that she was alive and okay. Maybe she was just too busy now, having to show her new Clan she was trustworthy, moving in with her new mate.
Charhoot thought of it, and smiled for her. He loved her and hoped to see her again, but if they were both happy with their lives, then what was the rush?
Without her, and without his parents and other connections other than Mustache, Charhoot found less of a reason to stay. He loved Mustache and part of him wanted to remain mates and stay there in the barn with him, but the other part wanted to grab onto the wind and have it carry him all over the world. He had the freedom to explore places he never would have back in WindClan, the chance to meet new cats and see new things, and after debating it for several days, he decided he couldn't let that go.
He gave Mustache one final nuzzle good-bye, before setting off.
The world was bigger than he could have ever dreamed of, with so many sights and sounds and animals he had never seen before, not even in the Elders' stories.
Too, he met many cats on his exploration, including many toms. Some of them he only met with once or for a few days, others travelled with him for some time. Every single one of them held a special place in his heart, as they each gave him the life he used to think he could never have, even if only for a short time.
He felt the pull to explore for many moons. Then, after a while, he felt the pull to go back home.
He reunited with Mustache and met the new barn cat, Ferret, both of whom he would become mates with--again, for one of them.
He still thought of his parents, his brothers, and of course, of Aphidsong, all of whom he hoped to see again soon.

Charhoot's base is by @/Splasharooni here!
Aphidsong's base is by AlaskanCat on DeviantArt
--I know Charhoot's kind of ends suddenly, but it transitions cleanly with part 2's beginning!
--Aphidsong ate an animal that ate an herb that she poisoned, thus accidentally poisoned herself. I like the idea that she ate a shrew, as it's kinda funny/poetic (Shrewstar can go f himself though).
--Charhoot's circular ear-nick comes from the farmers, who use it as a way to tag their cats.
--Aphidsong's scars (other than the main one) come from her fight with Billowpelt and from when she attacked and killed the one random ThunderClan cat.
--Charhoot's parents don't think that same-sex relationships is wrong, but they are narrow minded and don't consider other possibilites like surrogacy, so they think that the only way they can have grandkits is if all their sons are in relationships with she-cats.
--Misha and Dogleaf had their own litter of kits sometime after Aphidsong left, and they are her half-siblings. She never knew they existed though because no one told her.
