The Astrology Behind: Ballerinas
Services
Tumblr media
Happy Friday! Another Venus day, another Ode to her name. We already talk too much about this Goddesses beauty, but not nearly enough about the other equally beautiful influences that have nothing to do with our face, hair, sexiness, makeup, etc.
Dancing is one of the many arts she rules, and Ballet is the one in which she seems to shine the most. I'm sure all type of dancers have some Venusian influence, but it is the one ones who require gentleness, balance, symmetry, perfection, and/or technicality the most that emits her energy in a very noticeable way.
I've compiled a short list of 11 dancers who are well known ballerinas and point out the signs, patterns, or nakshatras that appear the most. If I've missed any other relevant individuals, please feel free to let me know in the comments and I'll do my due diligences to add them!
Enjoy <3

According to all of this data, the signs that appeared the most were all of course, Venusians, but Taurus had the most dominance in terms of Sun sign. There were also plenty of Venus nakshatras, which are in the Fire signs (Bharani, Purva Phalguni , and Purvashadha). Running close behind Venus we had Mars, Jupiter's, and Saturn's influence be it with signs or nakshatras.
Rohini nakshatra which is often found in Taurus is associated with male snakes in Vedic astrology, and therefore are associated with individuals who are gifted in the arts of dancing. Although, the movements are more on the sensual or delicate physical expression than technicality.
The Bhadrapada's along with all the Pisces nakshatras have an association to feet as well in their own way and expression, and the dragon or reptile-like symbols as well to explain their fluidity in movement.
Mars pushes individuals to have a relentless drive, resilience, agility, and overall a gift for exerting physical performance with ease. Jupiter influences appear in their fluidity of movement, how far they are able to reach in terms of jumps, the strength of their legs, and their speed, all which is seen in Purvashadha nakshatra. Saturn teaches individuals to push through obstacles, limitations, delays, and have an immense resistance to adversity. They have the discipline, consistency, and rigidness to follow a routine as many times as needed.
There was a smaller presence of Mercury nakshatras (Ashlesha, Jyeshtha, and Revati) appearing, as well as Rahu with Libra (Swati) and Aquarius (Shatabhisha) appearing the most. It seems that signs appear more in certain decades than others, which says a lot of the art evolving from one skill set to another and that bringing about different eras in ballet. Los of Venus exaltations (Pisces) too.
In terms on conjunctions, the one that stood out the most to me was Venus-Jupiter and Mars-Saturn which appeared consistently in the charts of so many of these dancers.
Venus and Jupiter in a chart talks about an individual whose artistic qualities are constantly expanded or experience growth. They truly have a gift when it comes to their self expression through artistic tool, leaving an imprint on everything they do that loud screams their name.
Tumblr media
Jupiter is also luck and blessings, so these women are meant to find spiritual alignment and abundance by engaging in all Venusian matters. Regardless of the relationship between these two planets, they make individuals notorious and recognized through their creative pursuits.
Fame is also seen this placement because Jupiter expands their energy to the masses on a worldwide level. Their art needs no language, culture, or barrier to keep others from connecting with it. Most of their teachers and gurus in life are women or come from these artistic venues. Their spirituality and values are deeply intertwined.
Both planets sharpen someone's intuition and awareness of being connected to the harmony of it all in order to create a desire of release. In ballet we see movements that emulate an array of emotions or an experience that seeks release through their host. They are often able to inspire others and allow their art to live in the traces of someone else's brush.
Mars and Saturn in any chart create a unique type of mastery or excellence in the house they sit together, and in general the capacity to endure difficulties and restrictions like a real professional. No one said that two malefics is equal to complete disaster, and most definitely not in an era where your ability to sustain pain and discomfort is rewarded.
Tumblr media
From an organizational perspective, these are the individuals who work endlessly (do extra hours, do many certifications, etc) and persevere to the point of reaching "top dog" title, but they can also be just as likely to burn out often and gain responsibilities that later feel like a burden to bear.
In the art department, specifically ballet, it screams mastery of discomfort for the sake of beauty. It's rooted in sustaining the pain of pushing your body beyond normal conditions to attain a higher form of beauty through movements. It speaks of what human bodies can adapt and resist to for the sake of becoming the master of their own minds and bodies.
Most of the charts that have this configuration where women who left newcomers with a whole new set of challenges to overcome, barriers to brake, or new standards of what was to be expected. They become the new ideal to surpass in the art in order to become the "It" girl of your time.
Thanks for reading!

Cass + ballet 🩰 (ft. supportive siblings and good dad Bruce)
I love the idea of Cass enjoying dance. It's an outlet that allows her to express herself without words, and I think she would enjoy the highly technical aspect of ballet combined with its storytelling and emotional side. and as a former dancer I always have fun imagining my fav characters do ballet :)

So I’ve made a few references to Steve being an Excel guy as an adult (because someone had to be in charge of Steve and Eddie’s money and it certainly wasn’t going to be Eddie).
He’s got the classic spreadsheets – monthly budget, college savings projections, income tracking because he and Eddie both work jobs with variable incomes (Steve is a counselor and Eddie is an author), the whole nine yards.
Steve also has some “extracurricular” spreadsheets. I’ve talked about how Steve has a spreadsheet tracking the combinations of Mario Kart racers/vehicles he tries out (there’s a ranking system involved, it’s very complex). He’s got one for his fantasy football league, obviously, and he and Moe put money on their March Madness brackets so there’s a spreadsheet for that too.
Eddie’s personal favorite is the one comparing monthly expenses by kid, which isn’t exactly a necessary metric per se, but from it stems a game Steve and Eddie secretly play: who is the most expensive Harrington daughter?
The winner tends to rotate throughout the year, but Hazel is usually their least expensive child in the long run. She does ballet, which isn’t too bad when she’s little but then she graduates to pointe shoes, and Steve had no idea that not only do pointe shoes set you back $100 minimum, they also wear out ridiculously fast, and, as he’s been told many times, you can’t wear the dead ones.
Moe usually takes that top spot in the winter – elite basketball teams aren’t cheap by any stretch of the imagination, and then in high school she gets into snowboarding, which is somehow even more expensive. She’s also consistently the reason they hit their health insurance deductible every year.
Robbie is their overall most expensive kid by a mile. She drove up their car insurance by getting into an accident a month after she got her driver's license, had braces for five years, and the prescription on her glasses has changed every eighteen months since she was seven. She’s notorious for breaking her phone, so she racks up quite a tab in that regard too (the one year they got a protection plan was also the one year she had no phone-related incidents, so they didn’t even bother renewing it – they just make her suffer with a cracked screen for a few months before they finally drag her to the mall to get it fixed). There’s also the year Eddie bought her an electric violin which was, naturally, not cheap (Eddie argues it shouldn’t count because he was the brains behind that operation).

Sorry if this is boring but! What kind of dance (if any) would you want to learn? (tango, tap, breakdance, etc)
Roman: The rumba, the dance of love!
Logan: I think tap dance would be interesting to learn.
Janus: Tango. It's basically manipulation in a dance.
Virgil: Breakdancing would be cool, I guess.
Patton: I'd love to try line dancing!
Remus: I prefer a more interpretive style, just doing my own thing. Wanna see a demonstration?
Logan: No. Last time you tried to show us a dance routine, you nearly broke the tv.

Introduction
So. I'm realizing (with the vent time post kerfuffle) that it'd probably be a good idea for me to give people a basic understanding of who I am and where I come from, so that they can reference it if any of my posts come off odd/offensive/etc. out of context.
Basic Facts
I'm 24 years old, Caucasian, American, biologically female, comfortable with she/her and they/them pronouns. I'm an introvert who doesn't get out often, but I'm not some basement-dwelling Neckbeard-equivalent. I have a strong sense of empathy, which leads me to want to play mediator often (though thankfully I'm aware of my limits and don't act on every want). My likes include anime, storytelling, art, history, SCP, Kpop, science, outer space, and mac n' cheese (among other things). My dislikes include racism, ablism, homophobia, transphobia, and basically anything else involving unreasonable hate.
History
I grew up as effectively a single child, moving back and forth between houses because my parents were already separated, though not officially divorced. They both loved me, and tried their best to raise me well, but (for reasons I'll touch on later) I definitely bonded more with my mom than my dad. There was one house that at least one of them always lived in consistently, so I think of it as my childhood home.
I was a fairly happy child, I think, though there were some issues with bullying that I can't remember clearly anymore, and it did affect me, though maybe not as much as the school itself; I used to love to draw/paint, and I stopped after I got into school because art class convinced me I wasn't doing it "right."
The teachers (some, at least) didn't like that I learned differently than other kids (e.g. making connections between concepts in Math and English at age ~8), and so made me take one of those "morality tests"; multiple-choice questionnaires about moral decisions like returning a lost wallet (which, btw, I left blank because they hadn't given me enough info about the situation; they decided that meant there was something wrong with me).
(Ironically, this was a Montessori school, which are supposed to be less rigid about teaching styles than standard schools.)
So I transferred to a different Montessori school at age ~10, which had a system where kids would sign their name on their class sheet when they came in, and didn't like that I stopped to say hi to kids in other classes first (for reference, my class was on the second floor, the other kids' were on the ground floor).
Thus, for either this or some other reason, they recommended I go to therapy. My mom, thinking "well, she might have reason to need it", agreed. I spent a while there before the therapist said "this is the most well-adjusted child I've ever seen, please leave so I can tend to people who actually need me."
After about a year of this school, Mom asked if I'd like to try homeschooling, and that's what I've been doing ever since (though technically what we did was unschooling, which is a bit different).
It was after I started homeschooling that I started writing, got really into anime to the point of learning Japanese by watching it, and made my best friends to date.
I've done things like ballet, gymnastics, parkour, circus arts, piano, roller derby, and sang/played at Girls' Rock Camp/Club Boston (though I think the name's changed to be more gender-inclusive). I don't do much of this stuff anymore, though I might get back into it at some point.
Pre-Covid, I was taking drawing classes and Japanese classes (mostly for reading it, since anime didn't teach me that), and back in 2022, I got officially certified to teach English as a second language (though I've yet to find a job, unfortunately).
I'm currently living in an apartment with my mom, sitting around with a sprained back, hoping that it'll heal in time for my best friend to take me on a Duck Boat tour in Boston on June 2nd, and blogging for the first time in my life.
I hope this has helped. It feels like an info-dump, but apparently I can't make anything concise, so here we are.
Feel free to ask/comment/dm me for more details about anything (or just to chat). I might not be comfortable with sharing some things, but most things I should be fine with. Just be respectful about it and we should be good. :)
Edit; just realized I didn't touch on why I bonded more with my mom than my dad. The short version is that mom is open-minded, gentle (though she can definitely be stern), and always asks what I want before doing something, and my dad sort of doesn't always "get it." For instance; the moment I turned 16, he started badgering me about getting my driver's license, even though I barely went anywhere that wasn't in walking distance and anywhere I didn't could be accessed by either public transport or someone else driving me. He also wanted me to do SAT prep and similar things, got stuck in the "Alternative Medicine" rabbithole and somehow still manages to be surprised that my mom won't make me try it without my consent (for reference, this was after I sprained my back; it's not the first time he's wanted me to try Alt Meds and definitely not the first time my mom's refused). So, yeah. He's not a bad guy, and he definitely tries, he's just a bit too stuck in his own world sometimes.
