It's so interesting that Mats Minnhagen is your favorite artist for Nevermoor. I always love seeing what cover artists people love the most! I'm a huge fan of mamefuk's stuff for the Japanese covers and am miserable that it seems we will never get Hollowpox and beyond 🥲. I'm also a fan of the Thai and Vietnamese covers as well... and the Ukranian covers have a fun, unique vibe to them too. Deeply excited to see all the different covers for Silverborn..... ‼️

mamefuk’s and the vietnamese covers are definitely close seconds! I love them so so much, they look so warm and cozy. I wish I could read either language just so I could have an excuse to buy those versions and have the art in my hands lol. The ukrainian cover is really cool too…I’m actually obsessed with the colors+character design on it ahh <33

Thrawn x Arctic Monkeys (feat Eli)

Vanto scoffed as he tossed the butt of his cigarette onto the wet concrete. In one step, he smushed the dying embers out with the toe of his boot and turned to face Faro.

“Well, maybe if you hadn’t gone and fucked us over by running off our 3 previous managers, then we wouldn’t be in this situation.” He barked in her direction.

Stuffing his hands in his pockets of his long black jacket, he dared a look up at Faro’s face. She stared back with a displeased expression.

“Listen, he’s who the label sent. Grow the fuck up and deal with it!” Vanto kicked his boot against the ground and looked down at his shoes. He’s the front man of one of the galaxies fastest rising bands, he deserves better than getting scolded by his bass player.

“You’re the one who can understand him, you’re the one who has to help him. I’m not listening to you piss and moan any longer.” Faro jabbed a finger in his direction. Vanto looked up to make eye contact with her in defiance, only to find her looking over his shoulder.

Vanto tossed a glance over his shoulder, seeing the new manager in question standing a few hundred feet away, lighting an herb roll. He let his eyes linger, trailing down the tall man’s body and back up. The ceaseless rain had already soaked the man’s hair, causing small droplets to roll down his forehead ridges towards his illuminating red eyes.

A stifled snort from Faro drew Vanto back to his previous conversation. Faro gave him a knowing look with a sly smirk.

“At least I won’t be the one to run off this manager” she replied to the as-if expression adorning Vanto’s tan face.

“Oh shut the fuck up” Vanto snapped rolling his eyes. Faro let out a mocking laugh.

“Go get the others. We have to rehearse for the show tonight” Vanto gave with a nod of his head towards the door of their current rehearsal space. He gave Faro a shove on the shoulder to get her moving. He cast one more look over his shoulder at the new manager.

The man, he learned was named Thrawn, caught his eye as he looked. Thrawn tipped his head down in a small nod as he took a drag from the small rolled paper between his fingers. He gave a small smirk, noting the way Vanto stumbled a bit at his nod.

Vanto whipped his head back towards the door, glad that faro was not there to pick on him. He stood there a second longer to hear that Thrawn had returned to whatever business he was dealing with over the comm device in his ear.

Vanto swore quietly under his breath, stuffed his hands back in his pockets in frustration, and began up the stairs to the door.

Again, sorry for the sloppy art I’m trying to get back into traditional art. But since I made that Eli doodle I’ve become obsessed with this AU omg

Sketched for the first time in years and I don’t really like it but I’m really tired of waiting for the server update? I can’t draw Nina but hopefully this slightly resembles @otaku553 albedo fma AU. I’d just think he’d like the chasm

(1 more yr of Biochem BA then I’m free to do more art but not really bc then med school RIP) semi embarrassed by the quality, style, how long it has been, etc but, like any art of the amazing AU is hopefully worth it and I had a good time sketching (mostly reading and rereading homuncular nature)
