Astarion, over the span of 200 years, perfected his art of doing exactly what people wanted. Specifically, he knew exactly how to manipulate people through sex. He knew just where to press, exactly when to run his tongue along their lip - everything they wished of him.

Now he had no idea what to do.

It started out exactly the same; he kissed and touched and said everything exactly as you would want to hear it. He did everything he needed to to manipulate you into liking him, into protecting him should Cazador come sniffing around. And then… you turned out to be different. You didn’t see his body as a sex object to be used and tossed away. You saw him. And, gods, if that didn’t just rewrite everything he thought he knew about himself.

You asked him once, late at night while you fought to stay awake, what he liked. He said embroidery and reading and wine, because of course he loved those things. But then you’d corrected yourself. Asked what he enjoyed physically. Touches and kisses - that sort of stuff. And he didn’t have a clue. You looked up at him through heavy lids, waiting. The best answer he could come up with was, " This. I like cuddling with you." But that was it. You didn’t press further, snuggling in closer and letting the dreams overwhelm you, but he couldn’t stop thinking about it.

He distanced himself for a few days, turning that question over and over and over in his mind until he thought he’d go insane, before finally gathering the confidence to tell you. You, in all your grace, smiled and told him that it was okay, that you could try helping him learn what he liked, little by little.

That’s how he got here, he supposed, face held lovingly in your battle-calloused hands. The ends of your fingers tangle carefully in the curls around his ears, thumbs brushing over his cheekbones and under his eyes. You lavish him with this attention without question, without any thoughts of reward… And he loved it.

Astarion was selfish by nature - he always had been, even before his unfortunate death and undeath. He’d had to be selfish for 200 years just to survive, grabbing and stealing any morsel of food he could. And for 200 years he had to give himself away night after night, unwittingly placing his body in the hands of other selfish, naive fools. He wanted to be more than just selfish with food. He wanted to be selfish for attention. Your attention. He wanted to drown in it.

You press light kisses to his cheeks, so soft it feels like nothing more than butterflies’ wings brushing his skin. He sighed, relaxing into it. In the back of his mind, he felt awful for accepting your affection like this. His hands should be touching you, not sitting in his lap. His lips should be filling your every desire, not waiting placidly for you to initiate. But every time he tried to lean forward, capture your mouth, your hands held him firmly in place. If he tried to reach out and touch you, you would push his hands back into his lap, with all the patience in the realms. He willed the guilt to go away.

You take his lip between your teeth and he can’t help himself from watching through half-lidded eyes; watching as you smile with a sort of fond deviousness as you hear the quiet breath he lets out. You don’t bite hard enough to break the skin. All you do is tug on it and let it go, before tracing over the slight indent with your thumb. His undead heart would be utterly racing at such tender care. He places a kiss on the pad of your thumb, and you smile even wider. You’re so beautiful. What did he do to deserve you?

He expects it when you lean in and finally kiss him properly. What he doesn’t expect is how uncertain he is. He has no idea what to do. How can he pleasure you? What does he want? What would make you feel good? What would make him feel good? He’s so torn, a low growl of frustration rising in the back of his throat. But you, saint that you are, pull away with a kiss to the corner of his mouth. You brush the wrinkle from between his brows, urging him to stop being upset with himself.

He has no choice but to listen. So he thinks about himself - what he would want - as you brush his hair back and kiss his jaw and thumb at one of his earrings. And when you lean back in and carefully meet his lips with yours, he begins to figure it out.

Your hands don’t hold him in place as he tilts his head to kiss you better, falling headlong into the safety you offer. He wants to taste you. So he hesitantly opens his mouth, and you follow without question. His tongue brushes your lip, slips inside your mouth to meet yours, and he loves it. You taste divine. You move in sync with him, following along like a partner in a dance. You do what he wants. It’s thrilling.

He fully relaxes into it. Into you. That damned voice in the back of his head quietens for the first time in too long. There is no quilt to be found here; no shame. He wants this, you want this. A shuddering breath of relief fills the kiss as he lets go, as he places himself fully in your hands, as he learns what is nice and what is too much.

When he pulls away so you have a chance to breathe, he presses his forehead against yours, and stays close enough your noses brush against each other. He reaches up and holds your hand to his cheek, keeping it pressed against his skin as he leans into it, like a cat vying for a scratch beneath its chin.

“Thank you,” he whispers. You open your eyes. He looks so at ease. He turns his head to kiss the palm of your hand, before kissing each finger in turn. “This is a gift.” He presses your hand back to his cheek and catches your mouth in another kiss. Shorter, but still so full of love. “I won’t forget it.”

You’re extremely worried that you might like Aaron more than he likes you.

It’s easy to pretend like you’ve got him wrapped around your finger and that he’d fall for you with the snap of your finger, but you’re not completely sure that he’s in it for the long haul like you are.

It wasn’t hard to fall for Aaron as quickly as you did. He’s strong-willed, confident, and you have a sneaking suspicion your teenage self would swoon over Aaron after hearing about all the stories you’d tell.

You don’t know when this thing starts exactly.

Maybe it started when he asked you how you took your coffee and made you a cup one morning in the beginning of autumn. Or maybe it started when you noticed he’d laugh at your quick whips or comebacks to Derek’s jokes. You aren’t sure, but the blossoming feelings in your chest doesn’t subdue when he leaves the room.

You think he likes you back because you’ve spent some time together away from work. 

It starts out accidental; you run into him one Sunday morning while grocery shopping and then the following week at a coffee house near your apartment. Aaron asks you if you’d like to join him for a cup and this semi-regular occurrence suddenly becomes something you look forward to. But you’re stuck in a will they, won’t they, situation. And it kills you.

Aaron doesn’t realize that women find him attractive, but you do. 

You see it when you go on cases and when female officers flirt with him in the precinct. You see it when baristas ogle him when he orders for the both of you. You see it when you walk down the street with him and you see it when you’re out to dinner with the team on long cases.

It drives you insane when you begin to realize Aaron doesn’t reject their advances.

You’re not surprised at how many times Aaron has been propositioned or how many women have given him his phone number. You don’t exactly blame them either; he’s attractive and doesn’t have a wedding band on his finger. Still, it cuts you to the core when you realize Aaron entertains these women while taking you on coffee dates every Sunday morning.

Like tonight. 

There’s only so much the team can do in one day and you’re all burnt out by eight in the evening. Rossi offers to buy everyone a few rounds and you head to the pub down the block from the precinct. The ambiance is nice, the food isn’t too half bad, and you’ve got two drinks in you to forget feeling like you’re going a disservice to the murder victims by decompressing with alcohol.

It’s when a woman approaches Aaron at the bar do you frown. You’re close enough to hear fragments of their conversation and you try your best not to pay attention, but you do it anyway. You hear her compliment his cologne and you hear her compliment his suit, his hair, and how handsome he is. Aaron thanks her and waits for the bartender, and he doesn’t move away when she steps closer to him. 

You watch as she slides her business card to him across the bar table and you think you’ve had enough.

“Where are you going?” Spencer asks when you stand up from the table. 

“I need some air,” is all you offer. Spencer looks at your half empty beer on the table and watches as you walk out the door without your jacket. 

You’re alone for twenty minutes, and you know this because you check your phone to see if Aaron has made any mention of you being gone. You’re sabotaging yourself and you know this, but your bad habits don’t let up. 

The weather is cold but the alcohol in your system is keeping you warm. You started drinking with barely any food in your system and you’re desperate to get sober enough to drive back to the hotel. 

You hear the front door open and assume it’s a patron leaving the pub. You don’t expect Aaron to look at you with a concerned expression and shrug his jacket off.

“You look cold,” Aaron says. You look between his jacket and him, and you decline because you feel like hurting yourself.  

“I’m not,’ you say stubbornly.

“It’s freezing outside and you’re only wearing a shirt,” Aaron pleads. “Please, take my jacket.”

You relent. The jacket is large on you and you hate that it’s warming you up quickly. 

When you don’t say anything, Aaron moves himself beside you and leans against the same wall you are. He leaves some distance between the two of you and he’s fidgeting with his wallet in his pocket. 

“You should probably get back inside,” you say, annoyed that he’s standing next to you. “The team will wonder where you are.”

“They’re wondering where you are,” he says softly. I’m wondering where you went. 

“I told Spencer I needed some air.”

“Did you get what you needed?” 

What you need is space away from Aaron. You need to forget that you saw him accept another woman’s number and you need to forget your feelings from him. 

“No,” is all you say.

“Is there something I can do to help?”

You turn to face him only to find him already looking at you. 

You’re sure your face looks glazed over. The wall keeps you upright and you feel limp with disappointment. You hate that Aaron cares so much for you when all you want to do is forget he exists. 

Seeing him with other women makes you feel like you’re not good enough for him. It makes you feel like you might be someone he entertains when he’s bored or when he has no one else to talk to. Working together already complicates things enough. 

“I think we should stop doing whatever this is,” you say, gesturing between the both of you. 

“What?” 

“We should stop seeing each other outside of work, Aaron. It’s not healthy for either of us.”

Aaron pushes himself off of the wall to look at you. “What do you mean? I thought we were having a great time getting to know each other.”

It’s almost laughable at how invisible you must look. Your tears are threatening to ruin your mascara and it takes everything in you not to let him see you cry.

“I just watched you accept a phone number from a woman tonight,” you point out. “In fact, I’ve seen you do that multiple times and it doesn’t leave a good impression on me. I don’t have time for whatever you think it is we’re doing and you are not worth the trouble if you’re going to string me along like some kind of puppet. It hurts my feelings, Aaron.”

He opens his mouth, but then he closes it. Aaron looks at you under the dim light from the street posts and you’re about to walk away from him when he speaks. 

“I don’t know what to do when women approach me because I’ve never seriously dated anyone other than Haley,” he blurts. “I feel awkward when women give me their business cards and I feel like I can’t say no to them because, quite frankly, I don’t know how.

“Every time women have approached me while I was with Haley, my marriage was always my excuse. But I can’t use that anymore because I haven’t been with her in a long time, and I feel like I’m letting people down if I don’t at least acknowledge them.” 

You swear your mouth hangs open. You’ve never heard Aaron be this honest before.

“I like you a lot,” Aaron breathes. “It scares me. I get scared when you’re in the field and I’m not there. I want to do more than go on coffee dates with you and I want more than a few hours every weekend. I want you and I’m sorry that it seems like I don’t.”

Your cheeks heat up at his confession and you can feel your nail digging into your palm. You blink, unsure if Aaron is standing in front of you or if he’s an apparition conjured by the alcohol in your system. 

“You’re not going to say anything?” Aaron asks. It isn’t an accusation. Rather, you hear the insecurity in his voice and you don’t waste another minute.

He makes you feel like a kid again and you think that that's maybe what's so freeing about being with him. When you need to escape he'll be there for you. For your birthday every year he always, no matter what gives you photos of his favourite memories with you from the past year, each with little handwritten notes on the back with the dates and with little reminders about why they mean so much to him. Whenever you miss him or you're feeling sad you can get them out and just remember how loved you are.

Hyunjin - the one who would die for you

You cannot convince me that he wouldn't give the world for you. If you were in some dystopia YA book and he had to choose between saving the world and saving you he would choose you every single time. He is scared of how much he loves you but isn't afraid to let you know that. He needs you to know that he loves you more than anything else in the world and will take you out to do anything you want. You want him to buy you flowers? He has your favourites in a bouquet by the time you're back home. He likes visiting the aquarium with you too. It feels comforting just sitting hand in hand on a bench watching the fish so carefree and when you find the area where you can touch the starfish he can't help but splash you with water, forcing him to have to spoil you and treat you to a whole new outfit since yours is now wet. He draws you too. He brings his little sketchbook everywhere so when you're pouting at the fact that your latte art got ruined when you accidentally dipped your nose in it its cemented in history forever by his pencil.

Jisung - the one that knows you better than you know yourself

When you've known someone for as long as you've known Han it's not often you find out something that shocks you. He was your best friend before he was your boyfriend and it adds another level to your bond. He's still the same person you knew when you were fourteen except now you kiss and hold hands and cuddle. He never saw any of your flaws and when you would talk about all your failed relationships in the past it would feel like a dagger in his heart, twisting slowly, excruciatingly until he couldn't take it anymore and kissed you himself. So when you need a best friend, he's there and when you need a boyfriend you know that he's first in line. You can rant to him about the smallest thing and know that he's listening to you, know that he cares about you have to say and the same goes for the other way. It's because you've always wanted to know Jisung better than he does and you're sure that he knows you better than you know you.

Felix - the one who's never letting you go

He sometimes feels physically ill when he's away from you for too long. Like his energy drains and he gets a headache and as soon as your around it fades and he's all smiley and bubbly again. Sometimes when you get back from class or work and he's in this state all that you can do is just snuggle up under the blanket with him and stroke his hair and massage his shoulders through his shirt for him. He'll just relax into your touch and half way through your second movie you'll find he's completely asleep in your arms, grabbing you like a koala, forcing you to go to sleep as well since there's no way you're freeing yourself from his grasp. Not that you would want to move away from him anyway, he feels like home.

Seungmin - the one who hides you from the world

He gives a secret romance vibe. He reminds me of that Taylor Swift lyric like 'You kept me like a secret but I kept you like an oath'. It's always stolen kisses when you sneak away from the rest of your friends at a festival and counting the number of people in front of you so you happen to be paired together to go on the ferris wheel alone. Like he loves you so much but he's scared to tell other people that because he thinks it makes him vulnerable. He's told his family and a couple close friends but that's maybe it at least until you've been dating for about a year. It does lead to really aesthetically pleasing midnight walks together under the stars where you end up in a random field or park somewhere talking until you can see the sun start to come up on the horizon and you have to rush home. At some point he breaks down and tells you he can't keep it a secret anymore because all he wants to do is shout from the rooftops with a megaphone that he's yours.

Jeongin - the one that's crazy about you

There isn't a moment where isn't thinking about you. He texts you at 3am because he can't sleep and he misses you. He walks to where ever you are if you're about to go home because he doesn't want you to be by yourself and he knows you'll feel safer if he's there. He'll hold your hand as you walk together back to your place and he'll ask you about your day and what you got up to. You'll tell him and when you ask him in return he'll reply with some corny line about how all he did was miss you. The only thing is he's not joking because you literally consume his every waking thought. And sleeping thought, but that's not the point. It's not his fault you haunt his dreams with your pretty face that he just wants to grab and stroke your cheek until his skin wears away from friction.

The White Walkers are fast approaching. You have been at Winterfell for the last couple of months after travelling down from the wall. You were the only female at the wall so you were glad you were now surrounded by some other women. There was one woman who could fight better than most men here. Her name is Brienne and you were making it your mission to get as good as her in the time you had.

You have been training every day since you arrived and you still seemed to be struggling. Even the weakest of men seem to be defeating you. You stood no chance against the White Walkers when they eventually arrive. There was also no saying when they would turn up. They could show up tomorrow or they could show up in the next couple of months.

That's why you needed to make sure your training was the best it could be because who knew when the war would start. Your day started like most others waking up in a freezing cold room. The only downside to fires is that if you don’t keep feeding them they eventually die out.

Reluctantly you pulled yourself out of your bed and plodded over to the fireplace placing some more wood and restarting the fire. At least if you started a fire now your room would be warmer when you returned to it later. You got dressed into some more suitable clothing. A basic long sleeve top and trousers were fine in your room but out there in the cold you would likely get frostbite.

Once you were dressed in a couple layers of trousers and tops plus your winter coat you were ready to venture outside so you could head to the great hall to have breakfast. Breakfast was the same everyday. A chunk of bread and a mug of watered down wine. It wasn’t exactly filling but it was better than nothing.

You sat by yourself quite happy munching on your bread and drinking your wine just watching everything that was going on around you. Then you heard a chair next to you move. You looked up to see it was one of your only friends Yorick. “Hey Yorick, how are you this morning?” you asked him as he sat down with his bread and wine.

“I’m doing good. Looking forward to training later?” he asked you. “Absolutely not. I just can’t seem to get the hang of it. I’ve been training for months and I just don’t seem to be getting much better. I can tell you I’m going to be one of the first to die” you laughed to yourself but deep down you were petrified. “Oh don’t be so hard on yourself y/n. We have time to get your training up to speed. Come on, the sooner we finish eating the sooner we can start training again” Yorick said to you.

“Thanks Yorick you always know how to make me feel better” you smiled at him as you finished eating your food. Once you had finished eating you made your way back to your room so you could get changed into your armour so you could safely train. The room was much warmer when you arrived which made your whole body relax.

Once you were changed into something more suitable you headed outside where everyone was currently waiting for training to begin. You sighed to yourself because deep down you knew how today would end up, being humiliated by everyone else.

When you did finally make it down with everyone else you just stood with Yorick waiting for the better trained men to come down and teach you the basics. “I really don’t know why you bother showing up y/n, you never seem to pick anything up from training” one of the men said while laughing at you.

“Well at least she is trying,” Yorick said, piping up coming to your defence. “Yeah but we all know that she won’t last five minutes on that battlefield, the White Walkers are coming and we need good men and women to fight in this army. If she doesn’t buck her ideas up she may as well not fight” another man laughed.

Yorick was about to say something but you grabbed his hand and pulled him away. “Hey, what's up?” he asked. “They’re right, if I don’t get better at this training then there is a high chance I’m going to die when this war officially begins.” you sighed “Come on let's start training” you said, picking up a wooden sword and carrying it over to where everyone was practising.

You are Yorick trained for a couple of hours before having a rest to have something to eat. Lunch was rabbit pottage mixed with vegetables. This you could eat every day. It was nice and filled you up. After having something to eat you, Yorick and the rest of the men and women who had been training went back outside to continue.

However when you went out you noticed a tall armoured woman standing on one of the balconies. Oh please don’t say she is going to be in charge of training this afternoon. Don’t get me wrong you like Brienne but you always managed to make yourself look like a fool in front of her and she knows it too.

“Y/n a moment of your time” Brienne called down to you. Sighing you made your way up to Brienne to listen to what she had to say. “I’m going to be observing you in training today. If I don’t see any kind of improvement we are going to have to remove you from training and assign you some place else. You have a place in this war, fighting it upfront just may not be it” she said with a gentle look on her face.

“I won’t disappoint you Brienne” you said to her making eye contact the whole time. “I hope you’re not wrong. Now off you go” she said as you then turned on your feet making your way back down to where everyone was training. Knowing that Brienne was watching makes you really put in more effort not to mess up.

All was going smoothly until they asked you to switch sparring partners. You got partnered with one of the men that was making fun of you earlier. This was just typical but you sucked it up and got on with it. You were both fighting and for once you managed to disarm your sparring partner. You smiled to yourself before looking up to Brienne who was now smiling back at you.

However with your back turned you didn’t see how annoyed your sparring partner was and he managed to grab hold of a sword that would actually do some damage to you but you didn’t notice. You started sparing again but Brienne noticed something different about your partner's sword. Just as she was about to call everyone to a halt the worst happened.

“You don’t belong here” your partner yelled before taking his sword and running the blade along your face. You don’t remember much from then on. Everything became a blur really quickly. You could feel the blood running down your face, before seeing Brienne running towards you. You felt your body become off balance and before your body even hit the floor everything had gone black.

When you finally awoke all you could feel was pain. Your hand immediately went to your face hoping it was all a dream however when you felt the gash and immediate pain following you realised this was no dream. You naturally let out a groan due to the pain and that’s when you heard someone move in the corner.

You watched as the person stood tall and you immediately knew it was Brienne. “What happened?” you groaned. “The man you were training for whatever reason decided to attack you. I thought his sword looked different but just as I was about to call everyone to a stop it was too late” she sighed looking at the nasty gash you now had over your face.

“Is it bad?” you asked Brienne sitting up slightly in your bed. “Yes y/n it is. When you passed out I took you straight to your room. I stopped the bleeding, cleaned out your wound, stitched it up and covered it the best I could to stop it from getting infected. I’ve given you milk of the poppy as well to help with the pain so if you feel sleepy that's why” she said to you standing up to leave.

“I also noticed you have quite a lot of small cuts on your body from training. I would really like you to take care of yourself. Those other cuts may be small but they too can lead to infection. Now I’m going to let you rest. I will see you tomorrow” she said but just as she was about to open the door to leave you grabbed her attention.

“Wait! I don’t want to be alone, Brienne. Can you please stay with me tonight? I’m scared that guy is going to come back and finish me off” you said, starting to sob quietly. “Oh y/n, I wouldn’t normally but considering your hurt I will tonight. As for that so-called man he is being punished for what he did to you. We need all the men and women we need right now so fuck knows why he was trying to kill you” she sighed getting fustrated.

You watched as Brienne took off her armour making herself more comfortable but still kept, oathkeeper nearby just in case anything were to happen. “I’m going to train you” Brienne blurted out. You looked up shocked.

“Really! You’re going to train me?” you asked, getting all excited. “Yes but once you have healed enough. We are limited on time but we will train one on one every morning and evening and I expect you to attend mandatory training as well” Brienne said sitting on the bed next to you.

You couldn’t help but smile “Thank you Brienne” you said as you finally felt the effects of the medication that Brienne had given you. Once Brienne knew you were asleep she tucked you in making sure you were comfortable.

But she didn’t leave. She stayed the whole night making sure the fire had wood on it and that you and your wounds were ok. She truly did care for you.

Gosh speaking of Drayton not being able to keep up with training + staying up for Iris, it reminds me of that other ask where Iris finds him asleep at the table. Just picturing she's holding Drayton's hand, feeling her heart break to pieces when she can circle her fingers around his wrist.

With the clothes Drayton is wearing + training he tries and fails to complete, maybe it hides how he's a smidge underweight for someone his age and height. Maybe he eats late or skips meals altogether because he prefers catching a nap than eating, and because he wants to eat with Iris. He keeps snacking on various snacks in the clubroom cause it staves off feeling hungry but it's not enough for a growing body y'know?

Now I'm also picturing Crispin, who doesn't fully understand but he too once grabbed Drayton's hand for whatever reason and like Iris, notices how his fingers can almost circle around Drayton's wrist. He knows at least that for a guy like Drayton, he shouldn't be able to do that. Crispin loves cooking, and he wants people to eat what they need cause 'food's important for your development!!' so he starts making 'test dishes' and having Drayton be his main taste tester.

Drayton has token complaints but he can't say no, not when Crispin's earnest eyes are looking at him and genuinely wants feedback so he eats, easing hunger that he wasn't really paying attention to. It becomes a routine, so much so that when Drayton sees Crispin with a box or dish he's just 'okay lay it on me. What is it this time?'

Just love these kids sm fr. I like to think that, for all their bickering, they care and look out for one another

No but that's so sweet of Crispin tho, that he also finds out abt Drayton not eating much so he makes him food which he disguises as his test dishes, but really, it's also a way to find out what dishes Drayton actually likes so he can make more of it for him

But what also gets me is the fact Drayton did have a dialogue going on how he likes the Academy Special or smth bc it's soft and he can gulp it down, barely even have to chew, so idk what to make of that without like,, y'know making it triggering for peeps so yeah ask me to tag stuff bc this involves,, this. Anyways, y'know, I do wanna say that's not on him being lazy that he doesn't chew his food much, rather, he just doesn't have the energy for it, or he just have a handful of food he can actually stomach down. Or he's a picky eater which then I will proceed to project lmfaooo

But also it'd be sweet tho if Iris does try to bring food from other regions back home after every Champion meet ups. Like yeah she sometimes come home late, but she always try to head home at least a lil bit earlier, oftentimes leaving the league duties to Hilbert for a bit, just so she can hang out w Drayton who she now knows always wait for her to come back home. So far he likes the curry from Galar bc it reminds of the one Crispin made too

That'd be so cute tho, Iris catching up w him, asking him abt his friends, she knows better than to ask him abt his classes

And he's there telling her abt how this one guy, Kieran, managed to beat him and became the BB League Champion, but now he isn't Champion and didn't join the league again. Then he tells her abt his friends, the E4, Carmine, and even some other students that talk to him. He then mentions abt the curry Crispin made too, how it's similar to the one Iris made, and Iris asks more abt him

And yeah, tells her how Crispin always makes these test dishes and would have him taste it first, some are good, some aren't much, but he loves how Crispin makes him his favourites sometimes

Imagine Iris smiling at that tho, that at least he eats well at school, when she subtly reached out to grab his wrist again while he was talking more abt his friends, she noticed it wasn't all skin and bone anymore, which lifted her spirits a bit, it was a small change but it was a change she'd love to see more of. Drayton said Crispin wanted to be a chef, well, perhaps as a thanks, Iris could pull some strings and have Diantha agree to let Siebold teach Crispin more abt being a chef, she thinks it's only fair for taking care of her brother while she's away

After catching up, Drayton grew tired, ofc, it was rather late, he stayed up late again for her, she tells him everytime he doesn't have to, but he really wants to. Imagine tho like true siblings Drayton asks Iris to carry him cause "what's the point of all that training with gramps if you won't put your muscles to good use."

"and good use being me carrying you to your own room?"

He gives her a cheeky smile all "yeah," which then made her roll her eyes at him

"fine, just this one time."

And just deadass gives him a piggyback ride lmfao, she's just "you're getting old for this, Dray."

"no I'm not, plus you owe me, you missed our training day so now you have to carry me."

But imagine tho as she's carrying him to his room, he fell asleep, and Iris finally noticed he wasn't as light as he was before, he grew a bit heavier than she last remembered, and that actually made her happy; she really has to give her thanks to Drayton's friends for taking care of him while she was away doing her Champion duties. But also her making a promise to herself to be on break for a bit and have Hilbert deal w being Unova's Champion while she really catches up w her brother, ofc, it's been a while, and she'd rather not have him stay up late again just to wait for her to come back home

Alphonse:

He constantly rants on and on about how terrible black licorice is but behind closed doors he is om-nomming that shit UP same

With that being said he actually wears the top from the boy toy stuff and a skirt quite often (slay king)

He's always wanted some sort of pet (mostly a cat) but the poor boy already has a bit of problems so he's just waiting at this point.

He actually needs glasses, like, needs them.

He is horribly near sighted but he's really stubborn so it took him up to his dilf years to actually wear some damn glasses-

He's a good cook, he's trash at baking and some breakfast but he has mastered other foods

Hello! I just saw your recent post and I feel like sharing something (I hope you don't mind ｡(^▽^)ゞ) I agree with you about the suitors having traumatic childhood/past, not all of them should have that and it is certainly not the heroine's job to "fix him". But since this is Ikemen Villains we're talking about, I feel like majority of the suitors are going to have those, but hopefully the heroine doesn't pull a "i can fix him" card. Perhaps she can try to be calm and learn all the pros and cons of the suitor (smth like that?). Anyway, I just have this feeling that perhaps this is gonna be one of the darkest ikemen games CYBIRD has ever made. Since the concept is "villains", what if the heroine gets a corruption arc or what if the suitor convinces her to join them so they can destroy the world together (ok wait i know that game hasn't been released yet and there's barely any trailers ｡ﾟ(TヮT)ﾟ｡) but i just somehow had a feeling because i played otome games before with bad endings and since the announcement of ikemen villains it got me thinking.

That's exactly what I'm talking about! MC doesn't have to 'fix him' she could just support him on the sidelines and give him a peace of mind when he needs it. I honestly don't care if Ikemen Villains is "I can fix him" kind of story as long as it has:

MC that's not boring and sassy and as something important to do in the story outside of romance. Hope MC in this one is more reserved and a calculative thinker. I hope she can outsmart the male leads when they're in a tight spot. Usually MC's are always shown to be average everyday girl with little to no personality, can't hide what she's thinking and not as smart as male leads. Like for example, in these games, there is always this 'chess scene' between the ml and mc and mc always loses because she's mc. In this game, I want MC to win every chess game possible and put the male leads to shame!

A story well written and the male lead past is just 1% of the story. (I honestly don't care about the male leads' traumatic past, because it's something that has already happened and there is no 'tension' in the present scenario because of that. The traumatic past is only there to show how broken the male lead is. I'd rather play a story about the present scenario and what is happening NOW!)

Male leads and MC takes decent time to get to understand each other and fall in love. As a sucker for romance, I get bothered when see these time limits set for every game (except for Ikegen and Ikelive). It feels like a forced romance than 'naturally' falling in love. There will always be this one guy who will be like:

Nerd male lead: "MC don't forget, you must never give your heart, soul, your food, your virginity, your bank account details, etc... to anyone until wormhole back to Japan which will appears after 2 weeks..."

and ofc MC will be: "Hmph, Don't worry I'll NEVER EVER EVER fall in love with anyone!"

................*sigh* Cybird, do you really think we'd fall for the same thing for the 5th time!?

I can feel it. It is going to have time limit. MC will have like one month to interact with the male leads before her train arrives!

And about the corruption arc, man I'd die to see that! MC turning into villain herself and destroying the whole world...that's lit!! They should do it! I hope they do! Not only Ikemen Villains but do it for every games, IDK how? But they could make it work(But there's a very very small chance they would)

This shock you're describing is really common when you've been abused, and when you have PTSD in general. It's like your body just cannot compute with the feeling of safety, and has to constantly anticipate the moment when the other person will finally snap, because that anticipation is the only thing that has kept you safe till now.

It does get better, though, and I hope it has for you since you sent this ask! Time, as well as more and more moments when the right people show you that they're not going to explode no matter what, will eventually, slowly teach your body that it doesn't need to be hypervigilant to be safe. Therapy can help, too, and just being aware of what you're going through and being patient with yourself can make a huge difference.

I've personally found that I have to repeat this process almost every time a new authority figure appears in my life. This can be really frustrating, and scary, because the feeling of fear and hypervigilance you thought you had overcome suddenly comes rushing back. But it does get easier over time, and there will come a day when you'll naturally expect people to be kind and respectful, and when the opposite—aggression and disrespect—will feel shocking and unexpected.

both kamisatos come by with some food for thoma and co but poor ayato can’t even keep his grin contained, poor thoma is conditioned to be nervous ab what ayato feeds him LOL

he’s cooking for his partner, legit gives them a list of options and an “anything you want, my love?”

cuddles his s/o even tho they might protest but it takes like 0.2 seconds to stop protesting bc that man is comfy

tells his partner stories about what it was like back home in mondstadt and his journey to inazuma and why he’s there as well as his stories about all the different kinds of people he’s met

taroumaru coming w kozue to the kamisato estate to get some hot tea to thoma 🥺 and the cuddles and nuzzles from this great doggo for thoma before he turns to his partner too 😭 straight up jumps in the bed and licks their faces a little before nuzzling in for a hug

n e way thoma gives a lot of hugs and kisses and cuddles and i think he’s hella touchy-feely and misses home and treasures his partner even more because of it

How the BNHA boys sleep with their s/o!

This has probably been done before more than once but here's some little headcanons because it's been a long time since I've made content, and I can't stop thinking about this.

Characters: Izuku, Bakugou, Shouto, and Mirio

Izuku:

-sleeps facing his s/o with his arms wrapped around them tightly and their head tucked under his chin

-this boy is a protecter, even in his sleep. If anyone tries to break in or threaten either of you while you're sleeping, he wants to be able to shield you from it and protect you. He's gonna take the first hit no matter what (if they even manage to get one in, that is)

-completely envelops his s/o in himself and tries to make you feel surrounded and safe.

-nuzzles his nose against yours right before falling asleep. It's like a comfort thing for him and it's endearing. Also strokes your cheek or your sides with his thumb lovingly.

-an absolute furnace. Tosses the covers off halfway through the night or sleeps like a rock and sweats through them, there's no in between. He'll keep you warm either way though, so no worries!

Bakugou:

-Snores. 100% snores but refuses to admit it. You have to kick him to get him to stop sometimes. Will literally roll over and breathe normally for a minute before going right back to snoring (just not as bad this time thankfully).

-Will cuddle you if you ask but rarely falls asleep like that. Doesn't need to be touching his s/o, but prefers it, so he opts for handholding. It's a sweet gesture you wouldn't think he'd be into but he honestly craves the touch and can't sleep without it.

-drapes an arm over his s/o's midriff or side when asleep. It makes him feel more secure knowing you're there and by his side. Similar to Izuku, Katsuki will protect his s/o down to his last breath, so he wants to know you're within his reach to do so.

-if at any point he wakes up for any reason during the night, he checks on you first thing. Makes sure you're okay, still sleeping soundly, and safe.

-He spoons his s/o to get back to sleep and to take his mind off whatever woke him up. Cradles their head with one hand and drapes the other over their side from behind. Out like a light in no time.

Shouto:

-cuddler in his sleep. Doesn't matter what position you fell asleep in; you both always wake up with limbs tangled together and his arms wrapped around you.

-somehow always knows when something is wrong with you whether it's nightmares, restlessness, or bad thoughts. Will wake up on the dot when you need him most and check on you.

-pretty sound sleeper otherwise. Sleeps in total darkness and quiet but will absolutely accommodate for his s/o if you need it!

-sleepytime is such an intimate thing for him. He loves giving small meaningful touches and sharing his space with you. It's the little things like brushing teeth together, gently touching your arm while he moves around you, sliding into bed together, just being near you is so important to him.

-Shouto has the best pillow talk. Things he won't talk about during the day? He might bring them up right before bed. Tell him your secrets, let him share his, and don't be surprised if he brings up really abstract concepts like existence or things about the universe. Sleepy talk sessions also include a lot of "I love you's" and appreciation for you and all that you do. He gets sentimental before bed.

Mirio:

-hikes a leg up over his s/o and sleeps in crazy positions that don't look the least bit comfortable. But sleeps like the dead anyways and is super hard to wake.

-mumbles the most incoherent nonsense ever and then something about loving you to the moon and back. He once had a full conversation with you while asleep but it quickly derailed into him babbling about food or going to the beach while it was snowing or smth. It's a hit or miss.

-the type to wait for his s/o to fall asleep before he does so he can make sure you're sleeping soundly. It puts his mind at ease and he likes to admire the way your features slowly relax and how your expression softens up as you drift off. You just look so cute with that dreamy far away look on your face.

-Definitely traces the curves of your lips and your jawline as you're falling asleep. He's enamored by you; he can't help himself from wanting to map out every inch of you. Will also rub your back if you want to help you get to sleep.

-it's not uncommon for him to let you nap on his lap while he runs a hand over your cheek or through your hair, maybe even over your shoulder and arm. He'll eventually fall asleep too slouched against the wall or bedframe, hand still resting on you for comfort. There's no place he'd rather be than with you.
