This artpiece was drawn during @shepscapades hermit character-design event all through june. The artist M.C. Joifee was inspired by the painting "Ophelia" by the british artist Sir John Everett Millais, drawn 1851-1852.

The imagine depicts xBcrafted lying inside a shallow river in a similar pose to Ophelia in the original painting. Other than Ophelia his eyes are closed, making him appear more peaceful than Ophelia. He is surrounded by floating cherry-blossom, choosen by the artist due to the current 1.20 update of minecraft, which introduced the cherry-grove biome.

The river is surrounded by minecraft-typical fauna. On the shore of xB's right side is an azalea tree is growing from the ground. On the left side sugarcane is growing next to a sandy beach. some silly/random headcanons i have for Strade, Ren, and Lawrence!!

i know a lot of people like to think he kidnaps people from the same bar, using the kind of pick up lines, but that wouldn’t be an efficient way to keep the bodies coming, and he knows that, how long until someone catches him dragging an unconscious/unsuspecting person in his car? And makes a call to the police? Strade doesn't take chances, not with the cops, he may be insane, but he's still extremely smart at what he does, he would go out to clubs, late-night parties, concerts, crowded busy areas, anywhere he could slip in and find someone and leave toghther with less caring eyes on him.

has cut his finger while using his power tools and made Ren suck the blood from his finger before, not because he wanted comfort or anything he just wanted to see Ren's sheepish look while he did (Ren enjoyed it too for the blood, albeit nervously)

Strade is a confident, charismatic man, but i still think no matter how hard he tries to hide his sadistic psychotic tendencies, they bleed through him with the way he talks to people, you always get this underlying feeling of unease when he speaks which is why he prefers alcohol to be involved to get his victims, it'd be harder to notice Strade’s eyes staring just a little too long for comfort when you're 4 shots in

always keeps eye contact, almost to an uncomfortable amount, it feels like he doesn't even blink half the time his stare feels like his eyes are always threatening to pierce your skull open and see what's inside from his gaze alone.

Strade is strong, but he's no amazing fighter, if you're fast enough, and have the intent to win, or to kill him i dont think his brute force and heavy swings will do much plus i think he uses a lot of street fighting tactics ie; slamming, grabbing you and pinning you, using weapons instead of just his fist to his own detriment (and that’s what i think got him killed)

really good at texting, he's very descriptive when he texts almost like you're really speaking to him on the phone or in person, he doesn't use a lot of slang or emoticons, Doesn't abbreviate his words like ‘idk’ ‘wyd’ so on, and lots of Periods. Commas, exclamation points! might reply to something funny he sees with a ‘LOL’ in all caps or ‘😂’ but that's it.

really really wants to learn guitar efficiently, but his claws always cut and get caught on the strings when he tries to play so whenever he does try to play he plays with a pick, he doesn't play the best because of it, it was one of the first things he bought with Strade’s money after he died since Strade didn’t want him to get one because it was ‘too noisy’

avid gamer and discord user to an unhealthy amount, and will spam you with messages when you dont hop on the game he's spam inviting you to play with him

sleeps on Strade’s old shirts and pants and coats, anything to where he can get his scent again in his room will sometimes cry himself to sleep thinking about him when laying on them, muttering to himself how sorry he is for letting him die

he remembers and still can understand basic Japanese formalities and such, he's since tried to relearn his native language online, and he did horribly because he forgot almost everything

sassy, when he's stressed, or angry, he can and will be sarcastic and make sly remarks regarding the situation to you, roll his eyes, cross his arms, mutter to himself, just more on the pouty side when it comes to handling his stress

has a collection of old chew toys, he's torn and bitten through with his fangs when his more animalistic tendencies kick in when he's in heat or just needs to keep his mouth busy

has been sent to psychiatric mental hospitals many times before when he was an adolescent by his family he never made friends or spoke much when he was, he did well, and never caused trouble

he’s fallen asleep while in the bath and somehow hasn't drowned himself hundreds of times he can't help it, it reminds him of the river,,

smoking weed helps him sleep through the day, it keeps him in a deep sleep since he's a light sleeper, so he isn't startled awake by his neighbors stomping about during the day

enjoys horror movies like ‘Jacobs Ladder’ and ‘The Jacket’ movies where the protagonist feels as though they are already dead or trapped in their mind, he relates to that feeling when he watches those films

would definitely be the type to go nonverbal when he is high, resorting to nods and shaking his head to get his point across if he's with you and comfortable around you

hates sweet tea and store-bought tea in general, he hates the way they taste and the texture they leave on his tongue, he prefers making tea himself with his plants and the ingredients he grows

he’s good at lockpicking & pickpocketing, so he’d make a very good thief but he doesn’t do it because he knows he was taught better by his mother and he doesn’t want to disappoint her

he is only a workaholic when it comes to his chocolate. This man would find the easiest and fastest possible way to do most other tasks

one of the only tasks that are an exemption of the above are clothing. He’s particular in what he wears, not that he has high standards but he wants to dress unapologetically like himself, and that includes deep shades of purple, red and pink for his overcoats, and more mute colors for anything below that

LOVES to read now that he can. He often visits the library and even started a mini book club with Noodle and the rest of the gang (Piper, Larry, Abacus and Lottie) but they assign themselves more than one book per month sometimes because the rest are not as fast to read books as the two of them

He is IN LOVE with Alice in Wonderland, especially the Mad Hatter.

He loves poetry too, and learned how to write his own pretty quickly and always reads it out to Noodle when he writes new poems

his guilty pleasure for books is definitely romance. He likes the thought of devoting yourself to one person, because he knows how it feels like to devote himself to chocolate, and imagining a whole other person to share everything with just fills him with so much hope and light.

this man smells just like vanilla and chocolate, and he wants to keep it that way so he learned to make his own perfume that has the unique smell of his own chocolate (this headcanon partially inspired by this fic! I love the writer sm)

definitely looks up and says ‘sorry mama,’ if he does something questionable, even if he has good intentions

unaware of ‘gender norms’ because he lived by a river with his mother as a child then stayed on sea for seven years with roughly the same group of people, so those things weren’t imposed on him especially since he was mostly raised by only his mother.

following the headcanon above, he knows both the female and male parts of the waltz and other ballroom dances and has no problem wearing skirts or dresses (though prefers pants because he’s used to wearing them and it’s easier to move around in)

and because he was raised with only a small group of people around him almost his whole life, he lives life ‘unfiltered’ which is why he is seen as eccentric and wild, because his mother found it endearing and the boat crew saw how brilliant he was and never told him to ‘tone it down.’

loves shopping with Noodle, and they have an especially good time trying out clothes together

if the Barbie movie came out around the same area and time period, him and Noodle would have definitely dressed in all pink and only Wonka would have bawled his eyes out while Noodle begrudgingly consoles him

definitely goes back out to sea for a whole month once a year, and with the same crew he was first seen with in the beginning of the film. He misses them dearly, and always shares his chocolate with them free of charge

this man has chocolates for everything—chocolates to sleep better, chocolates to enhance focus and even chocolates to calm down (either from panic attacks or intense emotions like anger)

he probably even sells chocolates with vitamins inside, mostly also for children who don’t remember or don’t want to take their vitamins, but he was careful not to make it too good so they won’t take more than the necessary daily amount

he learned to cook after the events of the movie, finding that knowledge in that area would help enhance his skill in chocolate-making. He’s good, but of course he’s not a sous chef

Dreams in the House of Tom Bombadil (and the Four Elements of Trauma)

Now that we've gotten to the point where the hobbits spend the night in Tom Bombadil's house, I'd like to expand on this bullet point from my chapter review:

Much apologies to my girlies on the server who headcanon the hobbits with phobias corresponding to the four elements; sadly, Tolkien is not on the same page as us this time.

For context, I present to you these screenshots of messages sent on the Fig Tree Discord Server back in January:

This started as a half-joke, but it's since evolved into something of a shared headcanon for some of us. Pippin has a Thing about fire, because of the Pyre of Denethor. Frodo has a Thing about water, because his parents drowned. Bri has since told me that she headcanons Merry has a Thing about air, specifically cold air, after his encounters with the Black Breath. And that leaves Earth to Sam.

The good news is that this is a really fun headcanon; and when you look at LotR through this lens, it's actually kind of staggering how well it fits with the events of the book.

The bad news is that Tolkien did not write LotR with this idea in mind; and the whole thing with Old Man Willow, and the subsequent nightmares that the hobbits have in Tom Bombadil's house, make that abundantly clear.

After all, what does Old Man Willow do to Frodo? Lulls him to sleep and then tips him face-first into the water. He almost drowns. He almost drowns. Sam finds him face-down in the water, unconscious, held down by a root and not struggling; there's water in his nose and his mouth and his eyes and ears and he can't breathe, he can't breathe, he nearly goes out the same way his parents did, in a river that connects to the one where they died. If Tolkien was writing Frodo with hydrophobia, this probably would've gotten a bit more attention than it did. But no; in Tom's house, Frodo dreams of Gandalf and Black Riders, because he's the protagonist and Tolkien needed an efficient way to foreshadow things a bit.

What does Old Man Willow do to Merry? Closes its roots over him, so that only his legs are sticking out; and when Frodo and Sam set fire to the tree, Merry screams, and begs them to put it out. "He'll squeeze me in two, if you don't. He says so!" He could feel the roots of the tree clamping like a vice under his ribs, squeezing, crushing, bruising; he could hear the voice of the tree in his head, demanding he communicate the ransom message. And as our beloved former anon, Meg, pointed out: Could he breathe in there? Was it dry and stuffy and stifling inside the tree? How much air could he even draw in, when his lungs were being crushed and had no space to expand? He screams with what little breath he has left, but can they hear him? He's going to die. He can't breathe. He's going to die.

But, ironically, he's the one who dreams about nearly drowning, and his dream-brain convinces him he's lying in a "soft slimy bog" before he wakes up and finds himself in Tom's house again. He's not the one who got tipped into the water, but go off Tolkien I guess.

What does Old Man Willow do to Pippin? Closes its roots over him completely, with a click like a lock snapping into place; and when Frodo and Sam set fire to the bark, and Old Man Willow gets angry, they can hear Pippin's "muffled yell" from deep inside the tree. Fire. Smoke and ash and anger. Could Pippin smell the burning wood around him? Could he feel any heat or sting? Did he hear Old Man Willow's voice, the same way Merry did, cursing the flames and threatening to smother him if it wasn't put out?

His nightmare, out of the three of them, is the only one that makes sense to me; he dreams that he is again inside the willow, hearing the wood creak as it sways in the breeze over him, and hearing the voice of the tree laughing at him again. But, sadly, no mention of fire.

All of that to say, if I wrote Lord of the Rings—which I realize is a terribly presumptuous thing to say given that I am, unlike Tolkien, Not A Genius, but hear me out—I definitely would have Frodo's nightmare be about drowning, Merry's be about suffocation, and Pippin's be about burning alive. This would then be foreshadowing for the later horrific stuff they're going to encounter concerning water, air, and fire respectively.

I dunno. It just seems like a missed opportunity is all. Which is probably why, despite how much I adore the “nightmares revealing inner turmoil and then characters waking up in safety and comfort” trope, I never really liked this sequence in the book all that much.

Sam, meanwhile, is welcome to continue sleeping “in deep content, if logs are contented". Good for him. 10/10, no notes.

Shadow Knight Headcanons

general

Shadow knights spend about a year (Nether Time) in the Nether before being allowed to do their ritual to gain immortality, Sasha is the only recent exception to this.

the reason they make the shadow knights wait a year is because new born shadow knights are very unstable, i also don’t consider season three cannon at all personally

they are in cocoon like sacks and the inside is filled with a sleeping drug. the sacks are submerged in the lava fields and left alone, watched over by guards who report if any knight has woken up for the first time

they are in the cocoons for the same reason a butterfly would be, their bodies come apart and reassemble

once they wake up, they are moved to cells and their armor growth is monitored

their armor is a shell, physically fused to their skin, when a shadow knight betrays the shadow lord, they are given a drug that makes them afraid, forcing them into their armored state and they cut off the armor as a form of torture. that was one of the torture methods used on Vylad

like zebra’s stripes, and human finger prints, armor is unique to each knight and can be used to identify them

shadow knights have a poor sense of taste, but incredibly sharp ears. they also have absolutely no sense of smell. there is nothing but losing it entirely that can block out the stench of Hell

Shadow Knights also take time for their final armor pattern to come in, all shadow knights are reborn with the same pattern

Scorpion knights (mentioned in season 1) are called that because they actually have tails similar to scorpions, all shadow knights did when they were first reborn but it falls off after a few weeks. it doesn’t actually do anything.

The reason scorpion knights still have them is because the transformation from human to shadow knight was too much, and they went insane shorty after emerging from their cocoon

emergence is what the shadow knights call coming out of their cocoon and emergence day is the day. it’s not celebrated, just used to keep track of time

i could do this forever but i’ll stop now

Gene

Gene was the first of the main group of knights we focus on to emerge from his cocoon.

he had a hard time with the transition but didn’t fight it at all. he lost his ability to fully control his magicks after his emergence so he had to hone it again.

He established himself as having great potential early on

his armor has dark bluish gray markings, showing he is a magicks user. he hates them because they remind him of his brother. he is being permanently reminded of his accidental executioner

He killed Sasha on purpose. the reason is entirely unrelated to the battle

Xenix

He was the first to die, but second to emerge

he has no blue markings and his armor is mostly red, showing his little control over his shadow knight abilities

He died by an artificial land slide in his home village. a few boys his age did it

there was a prophecy made about him, saying that the next boy born in the village would reign destruction. many people didn’t like him because of it and said that he should outright be executed, those boys took it upon themselves. he was fifteen when he died

his tail never fell off on its own and he actually had to cut it off

Xenix actually didn’t know Sasha, Gene, or Vylad very well, other than what he had heard about them

Sasha

her tattoos were after her death, actually given to her by a merchant in a village. she chose them because from a distance, a lava river looked purple through the haze one morning. it was the last day she, Gene, and Vylad had spent together before being sent on their mission.

Sasha has more but those are her only visible ones. she gave one to Kenmur, and she has the matching one.

Sasha has blue on her armor, she has a unique affinity for potions. she’s able to brew them better than most with the very little training she’s had. her magicks help her make them.

Vylad taught her the basics on the ocarina

Like Gene, she also made herself known through the Palace. she and Gene were paired together.

Vylad

He died at sixteen. he had heard that Garte was attempting an assasination on him and he tried to run away. he died near the walls of the city.

He went through metamorphosis relatively fast, and gained his immortality about two years after his death, making him the youngest in his trio (Gene, Sasha, and him) (Sasha gained immortality at 20 and Gene at 23)

he has blue markings, but is unsure of his magicks and if he actually had them. the markings are faint

he doesn’t actually feel love for his family, but he can remember that he once did.

he gained immortality by slaughtering a small costal village. he actually has the record amount of kills out of his trio, and ranks rather high overall.

in the village he found sheet music for the ocarina and he took that immediately.

Trio headcanons

a shadow knight’s battalion is their new family (battalion used so loosely here)

they truly love and care for them, even if over time they become enemies they can’t bring themselves to hurt each other. they are so mentally bonded it would destroy their minds to kill each other

Every person with Aphmau doesn’t understand that and gets confused when Vylad is so unwilling to allow them to torture Gene for information despite all he’s done. (they don’t want to but still)

Gene just grins sadly.

When they do it, Sasha while in Tu’La feels hurt and Vylad, witnessing it, outright screams

the only way to temporarily remove the bond is by administering a strong drug, but it feels odd. Gene and Sasha took it, and forced Vylad to before his torture

Vylad saw Sasha’s escape, and let her do it.

Writing this at 4 am because I'm too afraid to sleep tonight :D

I mentioned in a previous headcanon that Lance has insomnophobia, so I was thinking; on some occasions when Lance can't sleep, and neither can Keith, they go on long long walks outside.

They visit parks (specifically the one I've mentioned in I think 2 or 3 other posts), rivers, the beach. They get lost in small patches of trees, and they'll spend hours looking at the stars.

Some nights, Lance hates the stars. Some nights he thinks about how long he was trapped up there, forced to fight a war he had nothing to do with. He thinks about the people he lost. He thinks about Allura. Some nights, Lance really hates the stars.

And so, he and Keith will stay inside and watch a movie, or a show like Blue Planet, or that one mushroom documentary called Fantasic Fungi (that's an actual documentary and it's my favorite). And it gives him comfort of Earth. It reminds him that everything is okay now. And he never has to be in space again.

And of course, there are nights when Keith is away. And no matter how much Lance hates the stars those nights, he still gazes up, wondering how Keith is doing. Wondering if he's okay. If he's still alive.

Lance hates those nights the most.

More of my favorite silly qsmp headcanons that have zero evidence in canon

The Spanish version:

Willy has creeper dna and he can communicate with them

He however has literally declared the whole species his mortal enemies, and the feeling is mutual

For some reason turtles really like Willy, Tallulah's turtles once staged a break just to hang out in his base (Philza was not pleased)

Vegetta and Rubius fought once and Rubius cursed him to be a werewolf, it was supposed to be temporary but Rubius legitimately forgot about it and Vegetta kinda of likes it now

Vegetta as a result will sometimes howl at the moon and he is like, weirdly, into smells, especially Foolish's for some reason

No one really questions it even if Maximus is the only one who knows he is a werewolf

Maximus is one of the only humans in the Island so he just takes the weirdness on strike, nothing fazes him

Maximus doesn't won a single matching pair of socks and its on purpose

He also owns more sunglasses than he does furniture

Roier is a spider hybrid and he can climb walls like one, he uses that power to scare the living shit out of people

He doesn't do it to Rivers anymore because one time her first response was to set him on fire and then yell at him while he was burning

One time he also took her makeup without asking and she chased him around with a ax

Mariana recorded the whole thing

As a payback Roier stole his glasses and Mariana had to walk around the Island seeing jack shit, he ended up groping so many people by mistake that he legitimately buried himself into the sand until Luzu made him some new glasses

Arin will sometimes hang out inside of people's machines just for fun (He is the one that taught Pierre's machines to swear)

Arin and the codes are enemies with benefits (Luzu refuses to acknowledge this)

Pol pulls out the "old man" card literally every time something mildly inconveniences him or when he wants someone to do something for him

Roier and Quackity always end up getting falling for it

One time Willy and Vegetta blew up a part of his studio and he dead ass pulled their ears and made them redo the whole thing

No one has gathered the courage to ask Pol what he is, but let's just say that when he says old, he means old

He and Abueloier are childhood friends

The reason Missa takes so long to come back every time he leaves is because he has the worst sense of direction ever, he has inadvertently managed to map out the whole Island when he just wanted to find a river.

The mobs just kinda stopped attacking him at some point because it genuinely made them feel bad, they will try when he is with someone else and some token attempts from time to time but mostly they just ignore him

Quackity will say the most absurd things about the Island with a very straight face and he always end up tricking at least one poor soul in believing his bullshit

Quackity can speak to ducks and they have very long and deep philosophical conversations about the meaning of life and the mysteries of the universe

Luzu one time found him while he and the ducks are discussing the dangers of capitalism and he just backed away very slowly

German got lost trying to walk around the Island and he still haven't found his way back, on a good note he has been adopted by the slimes because they like his shirt

Rivers can talk to chickens and they obey her orders, Mariana was once chased down by an army of chickens and he still doesn't know how that happened

Luzu can literally sleep anywhere, he once feels asleep in a bush of thorns

Roier however can only fall asleep in the best sheets with the most luxurious mattress, but he sleeps like the dead, Quackity likes to play a game called "how many random objects can i stack in Roier before he wakes up"

Roier still doesn't know who does that

Missa doesn't know that he can be really fucking scary when he approaches someone in the darkness and he has hurt his feelings many times when people screamed when he wanted to say "hi"

anon, i am so so so sorry i took so long in answering this but to be fair, i consider this such a loaded question because GOSH the amount of headcanons i have about these two but okay okay i'm finally doing it.

River locks away some encounters with the Doctor and sometimes when she's cheeky - okay, she's always cheeky with them (who are we kidding) - she uses a totally random set of words to unlock those encounters.

Then the Doctor is just chilling with Companion or some random being - no, let's make the stakes higher. Doctor and Companion(s) running away from danger or are in a life-and-death situation and said words get uttered and the Doctor just goes ballistic and the poor companion doesn't have a clue. Their captors end up letting them go.

Said words are in different languages by the way.

River and 11 had kids. And 12. I mean it was implied that River's pregnant in The Impossible Astronaut/Day of the Moon sooo...

The Doctor has a habit of going back in time and meet up with different painters, poets, playwrights, sculptors, etc. to commission stuff with River as the subject.

After Area 51 happened for both of them, they would greet each other with the number of anniversaries they had lived through.

Older 11 does his best to soften the blows he knows young River will experience as she moves along her timeline.

11 bought an entire archeological set and placed them all in his bigger-on-the-inside pocket in case River would need one.

The Doctor hardly slept before River. After loosing her, they couldn't sleep in their bed anymore. Because they kept on reaching for her and kept finding it empty.

Older River loves winding up younger versions of the Doctor because an older Doctor did the same to younger her.

The Doctor has a room dedicated to stuff they think River would love.

River's lipsticks taste like sweets because the Doctor likes sweets.

The Doctor hates it when River puts her hair up in a ponytail. Considers it a crime worthy of being banned by the Shadow Proclamation.

The Doctor keeps one of River's guns hidden in the console.

River has met older regenerations of the Doctor but her memories of them are locked away.

Her memories of 12 pre-Darillium were unlocked when 12 uttered "Hello, Sweetie".

The Doctor (11) hangs red balloons whenever he and River are doing "humany-wumany stuff".

River's love for funny-looking socks rivals the Doctor's love for hats.

An older Doctor taught young River Gallifreyan; an older River corrects a younger Doctor's Gallifreyan.

They both tell each other bedtime stories. A younger Doctor would be told bedtime stories by an older River. A younger River would be told bedtime stories to help keep away the nightmares. When he began telling younger River bedtime stories, he realized he was the one who started that tradition and she was doing it with her past and him in mind.

☆ Eisa first met Aethelstan when they were children (8). He was extremely quiet and timid, and she was loud and mischievous. He found her quite intimidating, but that didn't stop her from trying to befriend the quiet boy.

☆ The two of them got closer when her dad took him in.

☆ Eisa and Aethelstan met cynlaef a few years later and the three of them immediately hit it off. Cynlaef was only a year older than the two.

☆ The three of them only got closer as time passed. They even had a reputation of always being up to no good when the three of them were together…which was always.

☆ Trouble always seemed to follow the three of them. And when they did get in trouble they were always sent to uhtred or finan, the two boys would send Eisa in first knowing that the two men couldn't stay mad at her for long.

☆ The three of them knew everything about each other. To the point that they knew what eachother was thinking, just by looking at each other. A talent that annoyed a lot of people.

☆ The three love to bother Young uhtred, they were always testing his patience.

☆ They also loved messing with Finan, especially when they were bored. The trio would act extremely nice to finan to the point that it gets suspicious, making him think that they did something. When the trio never did anything.

“Okay what are the three of ya shits up to?”

“Nothing uncle finan, Why?”

☆ The innocent smiles they would give Finan would make him groan in anger and leave, mumbling curses to himself. Leaving the trio to laugh and enjoy the ale he left behind.

☆ In all honesty the trio was finan’s nightmare and god did they love it. Finan had no way near enough patience for them.

☆ Eisa, Aethelstan and cynlaef were the designated babysitters for sihtric and sidgeflaed. Most of the time it wasn't too bad, the kids really liked the trio, but sometimes it got a little…chaotic. Aethelstan and cynlaef were in charge of the entertainment and Eisa was in charge of watching over them all. (Yes including Aethelstan and cynlaef)

☆ The trio was also in charge of walking anyone back home if they were too drunk, Well it was mostly Aethelstan and Eisa because somehow cynlaef would end up drunk too.

☆ When it was summer the trio was almost always found by the river; probably trying to push each other in. Eisa would even convince finan, sihtric osferth and Uhtred to join. And if they were lucky young uhtred would join.

☆ Annual and accidental sleepovers were big in the trio's friendship!

☆ Eisa would be sleeping peacefully in her bed, Aethelstan would be sleeping on a fur blanket in front of the fireplace in eisa’s room with a book at his side, Cynlaef would be hunched over at eisa’s desk or asleep next to Aethelstan.

☆ Eisa’s father uhtred many times would go check on her in the middle of the night only to find the two boys asleep on her floor.

☆ He definitely wasn't happy about it first but he slowly got over it…very slowly.

☆ The trio has so many inside jokes.They would be in a corner just laughing and talking about them and finan’ osferth and sihtric would just be watching them with a confused look, trying to understand what they are saying. (they don't)

☆ Eisa and cynlaef tease Aethelstan all the time for being a ‘good boy’. He always listens to uhtred and the others.

☆ Eisa and Aethelstan tease cynlaef all the time when he does stupid things or says stupid stuff. (I'm sorry he just gives off such himbo vibes?!?!)

☆ And Aethelstan and cynlaef like teasing Eisa about the small crush she had on sihtric when she was younger. It would usually ends with her embarrassed and shouting at the two and them running for their lives.

☆ When Eisa had an ax or sword in her hand it just made her 100% more intimidating, and she was really good with them too.

☆ Sitting next to each other at the feast and messing with finan, Whenever finan would get distracted they would take his cup of ale and switch it with water, sometimes they even got sihtric involved. The trio would end up blaming it on osferth.

☆ Sitting next to the fire together and listening to Finan and Sihtrics horror stories.

☆ Uhtred puts the three of them on lookout duty as punishment whenever they get in trouble. Little does he know that they actually enjoy it. The trio could make any situation fun if they tried.

☆ They definitely get yelled at many times for being too loud or laughing at serious times, well mostly Eisa and Cynlaef…Aethelstan is too much of a good boy.

☆ There is so much trust in this friendship.

☆ Cynlaef used to playfully flirt with Eisa all the time and it never bothered her because she knew he was joking. But when cynlaef noticed that his flirting with Eisa was bothering Aethelstan he stopped. (Eisa ofc didn't know this)

☆ When it's just cynlaef and Aethelstan, Cynlaef loves to tease Aethelstan about Eisa all the time and how differently he acts around her.

☆ Aethelstan is extremely protective of the people he loves, he will do anything to keep them safe.

☆ Whenever Aethelstan is upset or angry Eisa can always find him training or at the dock, watching the water.

☆ Aethelstan hates being alone, it reminds him of his childhood where he had no one. Now that he has people, he doesn't want to leave them.

☆ Aethelstan often sneaks into eisa’s room at night whenever he gets nightmares.

☆ Aethelstan will have late night talks with eisa where he talks about the small memories he had of his mother, or things about his childhood he wouldn’t tell anyone else.

☆ Cynlaef and Eisa can tell when something is bothering Aethelstan because he becomes quieter than usual.

☆ Aethelstan loves reading to Eisa and cynlaef.

☆ Aethelstan is an observer, he likes watching the people around him.

☆ Eisa loves to draw, her room has many drawings everywhere, most of them being Aethelstan.

☆ The trio has their own special spot in the woods, they often go there when they have nowhere else to be. The boys can often find Eisa there sitting down and leaning against a tree drawing.

☆ Eisa has a fear of lightning and thunder so they always come over to stay with her so she's not alone.

☆ Whenever Eisa leaves to go visit Stiorra and Sigtryggr the boys just wander around, not knowing what to do now that she’s gone. The others notice a change in them and bring it up a few times.

☆ Finan thinks it's funny how they deny it but go back to pouting a few minutes later. The point is they miss eisa when she’s away for more than 2 days. They're kinda clingy.

☆ When she comes back from her visit, they demand to spend the day with her and if she can't they would go back to being pouty and huffy.

☆ Eisa’s favorite person is Sihtric. ( it doesn't really go along with the genre of headcanons, but i just had to say it)

☆ Going horseback riding and having races…the boys won’t admit it but Eisa wins most of the time.

☆ They get yelled at almost once a week for being late to their duties.

☆ Eisa having to get used to the fact that no boy will ever step close to her because of all the intimidating men she’s surrounded

☆ Late night conversations that would last for hours, talking about random things or more…emotional things. The three of them had been through a lot and they feel very comfortable talking to each other about it.

Hello. If you still accepting asks, can I propose idea of 'AU where Yoichi and Himura clan are related' for 5 headcanons 🙏?

How fitting, Himura is written with the kanji for ice, but also to gather

1- Himura Ririka is from an old, traditional, and wealthy family. She knows her parents would die of shame if they saw her now, sitting in an alleyway waiting for the pregnancy test to finish. She doesn't care. She brings her bottle to her lips and while she knows the drink inside is colder than it probably should be, she doesn't think much of it. Perhaps it's the shade of the building or the light breeze. The test comes back positive, but there's no way for her to know there's twins. She packs her things and moves- sleeping on the ground can get cold, she's woken up with frost all over her blanket and even though she doesn't feel sick, she'd rather not die of exposure just because she's numb to it.

2- When the babies are born, they are hungry. She tries to nurse them but everything hurts and she is tired. She closes her eyes and doesn't open them again. The bigger baby keeps drinking, and when there's no more, keeps trying to until an ice meta power slides into him instead. When the river almost washes him and his brother away, they'll survive floating on an ice raft.

2- on the streets, the children barely manage to survive, but unlike everyone else they have an easier time in the winter- even Yoichi, who is normally sick. They suppose it's because the cold kills the things that sets off his allergies and because he has his brother's body warmth to cling to.

3- when the boys are ten, they fully realize what it means the there are other metas out there when they hear of the Ice Fortress - apparently, there's an extended family where nearly every child born in the last eight years has had an ice meta power, so the relatives have gathered together to protect them all. A few other metas hope to find them and join them too. AfO and Yoichi creep along behind.

4- the metas don't exactly get a warm welcome from the Himuras, though- they're welcome to join the family to work for them, but only if they can be of use. A few of the group are hired as guards. Most of the women and children are sent away. Yoichi turns to go too, but AfO grabs his hands, and they wait. The Himura spokesman tries to shoe them away once the others are gone, leaving to go back inside, but AfO sends a jet of ice forward, keeping it from closing. When the man turns, shocked, AfO just says that this is Himura Yoichi, his little brother, and they are Ririka's sons. The boys are hurried inside.

5- the boys are the eldest of the group of cousins, and pleased enough with the new food, though Yoichi asks with every group if they can help them more. His uncles chide him for being like a soft-hearted girl. Yoichi stares blankly at them for why that's an issue. He cries when sent away to do chores to learn manners though, so AfO responds by making the uncle's daughter cry... By cutting her hair and stealing her meta power. With this, the whole family is in uproar about an imposter child, a brood parasite, but their grandmother calls them back to order by reminding them she had paternity tests done to be sure, and that AfO's ice is from his mother, her daughter. Then she points out that Ririka must have been the first case of meta powers, if it developed sometime between her running away and the boys being born. Somewhere between 2 and 5 years before the glowing baby. They could use that. AfO is named Himura Magoichirou and is rewarded with double dessert for returning his cousin's power. He and Yoichi receive more tutoring as the family plans to use him, and in return, he starts planning on how to use them, growing from prince to king of their little clan, and soon enough, their not so little swatch of control.

Based on a post I saw in the River Song tag I've come to the conclusion that, not for the first time, the world really is designed around restraining a woman's sexuality. But more importantly, it comes down to the whole world is pretty much designed around reigning women in. Abortion laws, grown women banning books because they see any little thing as "porn". Women being taught that it's their responsibility not to get raped. Men can sleep around cause they are guys etc. I love a good period piece or any time era where the couple is not looking outside their relationship for their sexual needs. Some of my favorite stories in fact. I also don't see a problem with River being just as in love with The Doctor without any of the relationships that have been brought to light in the show being condemned as source of tragic heartbreak to make sure we know that as a woman she can't possibly have enjoyed herself unless she was enjoying her sexuality inside and exclusively from her marriage.

Aw, thank you! I enjoy answering your questions. In this case, I agree with what that person wrote.

Do you remember the minisodes - First Night/Last Night - that showed the Doctor and River’s honeymoon? In those scenes, River confesses she believes the Doctor brought someone else on their honeymoon, not knowing the other women were actually future versions of her. That means for decades, since the beginning of their marriage, River has been convinced she was just one of many on her own wedding night, that the Doctor was with someone else. So no wonder she develops this open-ended approach to marriage, her heart was broken on her wedding night. It’s played off for laughs, but you see the real pain in THORS.

Fidelity, or the lack thereof, is an issue of character and psychology, not sexuality. I know plenty of people who love to have sex who would never step outside of their marriage or engage in sexual activity with anyone besides the one that they chose to commit themselves to for the rest of their life. Oh, I’m certain she was gratified physically, but it’s revealed in the same episode she was not satisfied emotionally. So I believe that person is correct to attribute her extra marital relations to her psychological state at the time. Especially because in the seven years we knew River, we had not seen or heard of her having other partners on the side. Her loyalty, love, and devotion to the Doctor has been one of the defining forces behind her character motivations since her introduction.

So if that’s her character, if being with the Doctor is her greatest desire (6.01), if loyalty is her core trait, then why is she suddenly being disloyal to the doctor behind his back in THORS? The doctor was surprised to find out Hydroflax was the husband in question: “That’s your husband? Not anyone else?” Ramone just added insult to injury. Though delivered in comedic form, the Doctor’s jealousy was front and center, and then, he becomes hurt. Where is the devotion? Where is the River he thought he knew? The one that would sacrifice time itself to save him? All of these extra marital relations are coming out of left field, blindsiding the audience, leaving the question: who is the real River?

But then, in the climatic scene, Moffat reveals River is in a state of pain. To believe your husband does not love you back is painful. That cannot be ignored. Though I wish Moffat had left it as a headcanon, I begrudgingly accept, for most of their marriage, River believed they were married in name only, that the Doctor did not love her back. Now it makes sense why this character who has been designated for years as one of the most loyal characters in the Doctor’s life is suddenly found in a position of disloyalty. That is a painful psychological state to subsist in for decades. One can’t put all that trauma in a bubble and think it has no influence on her sleeping with all these other people.

One also has to take into account River’s history. Like her mother, River has survived a lot of trauma. She suffered child abuse. She was trafficked as a child soldier. She dealt with a lot of neglect, torture, and abandonment. When it comes to people who have that kind of trauma, you can’t just casually love them; you have to be intentional with your acts and words of affection, so they can trust the love is real. You have to drill through all those years and layers of trauma and abuse. I love you. I love you. I love you. The Doctor didn’t drill all the way down, so he was inadvertently causing her further pain. She was falling deeply in love with him while believing he felt nothing for her because he wasn’t expressing his love in a way she could understand or trust.

But once the Doctor realizes what’s going on, he proceeds to shatter that misconception until nothing’s left: “Hello Sweetie.” “Not one living thing is worth you.” “There is a Song.” “24 years.” The fact she was able to be with the doctor for 24 years, that she was able to leave all those other relationships behind and it just be him and her, and River be at her most satisfied? That tells me all I need to know, that those relationships were symptoms of an unchecked broken heart in a woman who didn’t believe she was in a marriage that was real.

rafael loves physical affection in a relationship, even if it's not always outwardly romantic. everything from you offering a massage after a long day of work to a reassuring squeeze of his shoulder as he works, he's head over heels for you. this goes both ways!

he especially loves when the two of you can curl up together and read or when you stay the night to cuddle in bed. he's the type to love soft displays of affection, whether it's kisses pressed gently into your neck when you wake up in the morning or sitting in each other's arms on a quiet afternoon. though he isn't against pda, he loves stolen moments together when it's just the two of you together. he's just a big softie :)

going along with that, he loves making gifts for you! he and his brother exchange gifts for important days every year, so it's kind of been ingrained in his head to do so already. with you, it's different. he'll spend hours baking you sweets and cakes for your birthday or finding the rarest stone he can get his hands on to give as a gift. when he finally figures out some new tool or weapon upgrade, you're the very first person he brings to try it out. he just loves seeing you smile!!

scott loves a good compliment! he's the type to get very internally self-conscious, even if he'll rarely let that show. literally praise him in any way and he's all yours :) he especially loves when you compliment his body, his work, or some aspect of his personality like his perseverance. he doesn't work out so much for nothing! being in as many unsuccessful relationships as he has in his past, he's developed a mindset that there's something about him that's ruining them. reassuring him that he's good, even with a casual "looking good today," or "im proud of you" every now and then.

going along with this, acknowledgement of his work is especially great. he's put so much of his life into his field and so much effort into preserving the island's museum, and having an s/o who will let him infodump all about whatever he finds interesting makes him melt :)

scott is very touchy when you're together! he's proud to be with you and isn't afraid to show it, aka he's definitely not shy about pda. he's happy to shower you with kisses at the drop of a hat, to take your hand in his or drape an arm around your shoulder while out together. he can't get enough of you!

kenny!! his biggest thing is probably quality time. he loves just being around you! whether it's spending time together while he shows you how to take care of animals or introduces you to new arrivals around the ranch, listening to him play music in the early hours of the morning, or just sitting together and eating packed meals beside the river–he just wants to spend time with you.

most if not all of the dates he invites you on involve just the two of you together in a place that's important to him. he'll take you to sleep under the stars, to hike through the forest, to enjoy an afternoon by the lake, etc. even inside he's weak for comfortable evenings spent curled up together watching TV or reading together. he just wants to be able to love being with you, to enjoy your presence and the sound of your voice as you tell him about your day. that simple domesticity is all he really wants.

buuut he also like to give you more 😌 both before you get together and even more so after, he'll do whatever he thinks will make your life easier. living so close to your farm definitely helps out with that! he'll stop by with extra eggs or animal feed every now and then if he notices you're running low, he'll help collect products from the animals on your farm, he'll give you a hand watering crops, etc. he just loves to help!

he melts if you do the same for him, even if it's something as simple as stopping by on the morning to help him milk the cows. just the act of taking time out of ones routine to make the other's life even a little easier is a pure show of love to him. you'll especially notice him stopping by to help out more and more in the days leading up to him asking you out for the first time 😌

glad you like my softcore Shigs/Dabi this soft version of them i think when Shigs actually talks about what he said Dabi is gonna tell him, "yo, if you don't wanna talk about it right now we don't have to that shits personal. you say what you want when you can. Don't feel forced or some shit" and they do eventually talk about it and Shigs is so afraid what Dabi is going to say or do to him. He even tells him about the dead name stuff, he can't bring himself to say it but he writes it down and gives it to Dabi cause he tells him he never wants him to call him this name and Dabi looks at it and at Shigs, he passes him a paper turned down to the floor and he's like whats this? when he tells him what it is he burns it without looking at it and he tells him. "I already know your name, the name you told me that's all im gonna call you if it's not a stupid nickname." This tugged Shigs heart a whole lot, that another thing he fell in love about with Dabi. i bet Dabi calls Shigs butterfly and shaggy while Shigs calls him doofy and daffy cause thats so cute. They are the type of people where Shigs is sitting in a chair and he'll just go snap in front of him to get his attention off the game and Dabi will pick him up like "Hey, i wanna show you something" or he'll say that while he's coming over there and pick him up and take him to the thing he wants him to see he either made or found outside or inside the house. The league used to sleep on one mattress together until they found an abandon house they turned into their own home. It's got 0 lights so they just put up candles and other things of that sort, there are plants growing inside the house from the broken windows, theres no running water but there is a river near by, electricity is working because something mr compress did they don't question so we got TV and somebody pays for all the phone bills so the fuck with TV we got cell service Himiko and Twice watch kids shows and the mattress situation eventually they got their own beds one of them sleeps on the couch with a blanket but Dabi and Shigs just didn't part with sleeping together so they were doing it casually like actually just sleeping until they started dating without like saying it so they started to cuddle, Dabi is a huge cuddler Shigs is afraid to touch Dabi cause he doesn't want to hurt him but if he wears his gloves everything is ok that doesn't mean he isn't reflex cautious. Dabi cut his foot on the broken window once and when he made a groaning painful sound and said "FUCK" Shigs stoped what he was doing and came running "WHAT HAPPEN?" Sebastian decides to take Farmer on a date to the Zuzu city gameroom where you can play arcade games. The poor fellow is worried, because this is in fact his first official date with the Farmer. Maybe outwardly he will not show it, but inside he is seething with worries.

They both rode on a Sebby motorcycle, because the overcrowded buses would not suit either of them. And what could be better than a trip by your own motorcycle with a full sense of freedom and a breath of wind on the skin during the trip.

And here they are - in the arcade machines room. The pockets are stuffed with tokens and they finally enter. There are not many people here, which makes Sebastian very happy, because he wanted to show the Farmer his favorite games. Most often, the Farmer and Sebby stop at fantastic shooters and fighting games for two. Although Sebastian is not a fan of games like Dance Dance Revolution, but if the Farmers want, he will also dance with them, even though it will look ridiculous. The Farmer claims that they dance badly too. "You remember my last moves at the Flower dance? It was just embarrassing" "But still it was fun."

It's been 5 hours since they spent their last token. Wow, time flies faster when you're having so much fun. Her face flushed as she realized that the Farmer had also heard what she had said. But before starting to apologize a thousand times, the Farmer replied: "Then you are incredibly lucky that I feel the same way about you."

If Penny didn't know before that Farmer had been flirting with her for a long time and this picnic was an invitation to a date, now Penny knows for sure. And still cannot believe in her happiness.

Arkansas Headcanons

Arkansas’s State Spirit form is red diamonds that grow out of his upper back. More will start growing when his emotions become more intense. [#E61E32]

Arkansas is the only state with a public diamond mine, Crater of Diamonds State Park. Diamonds are an important part of the state, to where the diamond shape on the flag represents Arkansas as the first diamond-producing state. The three largest diamonds ever found in America also came from the state park.

His Spirit is red for the Razorbacks, and he just has that vibe.

Arkansas feels uncomfortable in cramped, urban places. He can’t stay there for more than a day. The only places like this that he can tolerate are his own urban cities.

The state’s nickname is the Natural State due to the natural beauty of the lakes, rivers, mountains, and wildlife found in Arkansas.

He’s very physically active and he spends more time outdoors than inside. He’s often seen playing on various bluegrass instruments and writing songs. Arkansas is basically always seen outside the house and the few times he is indoors are for meetings, dinnertime, and sleep.

Arkansas is very handy and basically a jack of all trades when it comes to crafting. He’s one of the states that patches up the house when the others damage it.

He likes to call Kansas “Kan-saw” in retaliation for all the “Ar-kan-sass” mispronunciations.

Just like in the fic, he has an old tin of small raw diamonds that he uses for jewelry making. 

He finds them himself in Crater of Diamonds State Park since it has a “finders, keepers” policy on diamonds. Additionally, he’s always just had a sense for finding diamonds that he doesn’t share with anyone. Arkansas knows that the moment he does, everybody is going to keep using him to find free diamonds.

He has a really good cheese dip recipe and often has a stand in the World Cheese Dip Competition even though he isn’t allowed to compete.

The state claims to have invented cheese dip in 1935 and that the inventor also owned the first restaurant to ever sell it. The World Cheese Dip Competition is held annually in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Texan queso vs. Arkansan cheese dip is a point of contention between the two states (queso and cheese dip are two different things). Texas and Arkansas will argue about which is better, and Austin will talk about it even more passionately than his state. In fact, Austin may spend the entirety of his small window of time arguing that queso is better. Although, Texas may take a bit more time before taking back control as he feels pride at seeing Austin defend Texan honor and to see him “not bein’ such a lil’ pansy.”

The states often have some random skills, and Arkansas has one too. He can do a perfect duck call owing to the World's Championship Duck Calling Contest held in Stuttgart, Arkansas. The city is also known as the “duck hunting capital of the world.”

Arkansas once received a big mallard plushie during a Southern Secret Santa gift exchange. It was from Mississippi, but he doesn’t know that of course. The plushie’s name is Mo, short for Mojo.

Arkansas is also a member of the “snorts when he laughs hard” club.
