Transcript from Dan and Phil React to Phan Twitter
Phil: What's your take away?
Dan: I mourn the years of not making this kind of content, I feel like we need to acknowledge the hard work and creativity of our incredibly based audience.
Phil: We do.
Dan: Go on, give a stereotypical Dan-esque conclusion.
Phil: Well, what can I say? You guys are so creative and thinking of all of these funny things. You're a thriving audience and we respect you and your memes so much-
Dan: Make a point about something? What does this say about wider society?
Phil: And it's about the fact that there's so much creativity out there but it's ephemeral, you never get to see it, so to compile it all here-
Dan *rubbing his forehead*: Legacy. Yes, posterity.
Phil: -is like having the Alexandria's library of Babylon and now-
Dan: This shit should not be remembered. It's too late now. Burn this library, burn these books.
Phil: -it's now on the internet forever that we have.
Dan: This is one of these freaky therapy moments when you get a mirror held up to you and this is like, this is what you created. *close to the mic* and I'm so fucking proud.

Has anyone else watched Emma (1972)? I watched it for the first time over the course of this week since it up in its entirety on Youtube and it is so good! I do think some cast members are a bit older than the characters they portrayed, Mr. Knightley in particular, but I loved the actress who played Harriet - her "Oh Miss Woodhouse!" exclamation in every other sentence had me laughing. And Doran Goodwin was perfectly cast as Emma. It took me awhile to like her, at first glance she did not seem 'Emma enough' for me but by the middle I was totally enthralled. Her micro facial expressions as she reacted to everything going on around her were incredible and I loved some of the outfits she wore, absolutely gorgeous!
If you have like 4.5 hrs to spare, I would totally recommend it. The overall tone felt very true to the book and since it is a miniseries, nothing felt rushed. They had time to hit all the plot points.

I just remembered I sketched this but never finished it lol. So uh, @radiance1 's blob ghost dragon Danny.
Y'know he uh, probably either doesn't care or can't remember how to do human forms or disguises. Or at least completely.
Oh well I'm sure Amity Park doesn't care and I'm sure the JL will be fine. Don't mind Henry-the-emotional-support-scientist he is also fine. Or he will be. Once everything stops spinning.
Honestly remind me to finish this at some point lol.

Someone called Ozai "temper tantrum man", and I was going to comment on that with some sort of "Yes, but"...but then I realized that there is no "yes" to that.
He's not a tantrum person.
He has a temper, yes, but the guy doesn't freak out. Ever. Not even once. And it's a trait I hadn't considered about him, but it's so terrifyingly brilliant.
-Zuko speaks out. He just drags him off to the disciplinary Agni-Kai
-Zuko tells him Azula lied and the Avatar's alive. He just snarls at Zuko and tells him to get out, then starts goading the kid to attack him with swords while he doesn't have his own firebending
-Aang blows up his airship, and he just flies down and starts gloating about how favored he is by the universe
-Aang unlocks the Avatar State and grabs Ozai's beard, and Ozai counterattacks in the blink of an eye
-Aang nearly kills him and Ozai scoffs about how Aang is weak
-Aang takes his bending and Ozai throws punches until he realizes he's exhausted
-A bunch of teenagers start making fun of him and Ozai (still exhausted) pathetically protests before falling over
-Zuko comes to see him in jail and Ozai hits him with snark
The writing on that man is insane when you think about how cold he is.

Four was honestly surprised how many people were here. It was his first big trip, and it was definitely overwhelming. He was usually a loner, but he had to admit… he was thankful he’d asked a friend to come along.
Legend laughed as he texted someone, face glowing with glee. He elbowed Four mischievously. “We should definitely send pictures to Wars.”
“Is that who you’re texting?” Four asked with a smile, enjoying the cheer from his usually grumpier friend. Legend adored education conferences - his friend was nothing if not a lover of learning and exploring new things.
“Oh absolutely,” Legend replied, showing his phone. “He’s upset because I went to the emergency medicine conference and then went to this one. Personally, I think he’s just jealous because I have a cert he doesn’t.”
“Wait, Wars doesn’t have his CCRN?” Four questioned, confused. He figured Warriors, who had everything in his life in order, would have his critical care nursing certification. It was fairly common for nurses in ICU and ED settings.
“Nope!” Legend quipped with delight, obviously ecstatic that he had something over the military nurse.
“Okay, but important question: where are we going to get dinner?”
“Somewhere it doesn’t cost half our paycheck.”
Four glanced around at the skyscrapers. “Uh… not sure we’re going to manage that. I didn’t think the Hebra Mountains had cities like this.”
“Well, then we can contemplate Brugada Syndrome and complicated EKG rhythms while we starve,” Legend supposed.
“Oh, don’t be like that,” Four laughed. “This is a trip, we shouldn’t worry about the cost too much.”
”We don’t make Time’s salary.”
“But we make decent salary.”
Legend bit his lips, stubborn. Four narrowed his eyes analytically. “This isn’t about how much the food costs; it’s because you’ve blown your budget on coffee, isn’t it?”
His friend immediately flushed, guilty as charged. “They charge ten rupees for coffee! Ten!! This place is ridiculous!”
“I told you your caffeine addiction would come back to bite you someday,” Four smiled. “Or, well, more so than it already has.”
“I swear, if you bring up the SVT episode one more time—”

putting my hands on your shoulders looking directly into your eyes why are you so insistent that Dazai is faking every emotion every second of every day except when he's acting mean or evil why do you think his dark side is more true than his happier or sillier sides
do you not also have multiple facets you show different people? are we not all beautiful multifaceted individuals? are your actions and reactions not influenced by your emotions and state of mind?
can't he laugh at his own jokes? can't he fondly think of the Agency? can't he be dramatic because he wants to? can't he be surprised by something suddenly happening, even if he knew it would happen? do you not jump when the jack in the box gets out even if you were the one working the mechanism?
why would the mean persona be more real? why would any and all joy be faked? why are you only allowing him misery?
