So, Danny, cemented king and practically father of the Blob Ghosts and certified little shit.

Has found something new to play with.

For you see, despite his various kidnappings by the GIW Danny was never aware of there being a League of Earth's mightiest heroes at all. He off-handily mentioned them to Henry, who was now genuinely jobless because even though he never got told he knew he was jobless for helping Danny escape and Henry?

Henry did not want any part of this, he's just a civilian he doesn't want to meet the Justice League of all people!

Sadly, Danny did not care at all in the slightest.

Henry was then reminded of why Danny was valued by the GIW and why he also king class ghost entity (the only other known king class was the Ghost King who they barely have any information of). Because he easily, cleared the distance between Amity Park and Metropolis.

Henry, unfortunately, was not used to traveling at such speeds and was left hanging limply in Danny's arm as everything started spinning and thinking he might puke.

Danny, being the child that he is at heart, immediately starts calling out Superman's name. Superman, predictably and unsurprisingly, hears this and comes over questioning who was calling him.

Danny decides to be even more of a little shit by speaking in ghost speak even though just earlier he called out Superman's name in clear English. Henry, the de-facto translator, is out of commission right now so Superman is really just left guessing here.

Unless, you go with the fact that Kyrptonian is a dead language, and since Superman can speak and knows Kyrptonian, Danny's ghost speak is automatically translated to Kyrptonian.

Superman is, understandably, stumped by this occurrence and he may or may not form the idea that Danny might be a Kyrptonian.

Danny then gently places Henry down on the roof, pats him on the head, tells a few blob ghosts to keep an eye on their new littlest sibling while Dad has fun.

Then he turns to Superman, with the most feral, shit eating grin on his face. Cracks his knuckles, and then tells Superman that they're going to have a fight.

He wasn't asking, and before Superman could say anything he's already been punched through the air. Not that it hurt, really, mostly took him by surprise, but now Superman is now in a fight with what may or may not be a Kryptonian.

I just remembered I sketched this but never finished it lol. So uh, @radiance1 's blob ghost dragon Danny. Y'know he uh, probably either doesn't care or can't remember how to do human forms or disguises. Or at least completely.

Oh well I'm sure Amity Park doesn't care and I'm sure the JL will be fine. Don't mind Henry-the-emotional-support-scientist he is also fine. Or he will be. Once everything stops spinning.

Honestly remind me to finish this at some point lol.

Seeing you Dragon AU size differences, makes me imagine an Adult Danny, in dragon form, doing the cat loaf pose while a bunch of blob ghosts, kids and child ghosts use his wings, horns and spikes as an oversized jungle gym.

Huge fuck-off dragon, covered in kids who have 0 fear of him, while Lady Gotham and Cass are having a nice picnic under the shadow of one of his wings.

I pity whatever poor Rogue decides to mess with them

Whatcha Got There, Danny?

It was an average school day. Starting too early for any teen to truly enjoy, the majority of students made their way to first period with all due enthusiasm.

Surprisingly, Danny was one of them.

"You're on time?" Sam looked to the window and squinted at the sky as Danny took his seat, rolling his eyes. "I don't think the world is ending, it's a bit too sunny for that."

That got Danny to pause as he reached into his bag. "Actually, it's pretty likely the asteroid that killed the dinosaurs burned off whatever weather pattern-"

"Hey, Danny," Tucker cut in a little nervously. "Did you forget to give Dorathea something back?"

Pulling his hand all the way out of his bag, Danny met the eyes of the small, vaguely transparent dragon that was clinging to his thermos and smothered a sigh before turning back to his friend to give the wrong answer on purpose.

"I don't think Dora likes my coffee, man."

"That is not what I meant and you know it. Is that her kid?"

Uncapping the mostly normal thermos and not even blinking as the little guy scrambled up his arm to sit on his shoulder (a little difficult as those tiny claws were sharp), Danny slurped a sip of his coffee just to be annoying only to choke on it a bit when Sam jostled his other arm trying to hurry along an answer. He managed to swallow the mouthful before coughing around his surrender.

"Alright, alright!" He coughed again. "It's not Dora's kid."

"Is it," Sam grimaced as she stopped mid-sentence, clearly unwilling to finish the thought of Aragon having a kid.

"It's mine." Danny assured her quickly, trying to keep his voice down so the other students in the room wouldn't start looking their way. Maybe too quickly as he heard it aloud and had to correct himself to his friends' shocked looks. "My dragon! Not my kid!"

The little guy sat up tall and proud, little wings flaring out as he gave what he probably thought was a mighty roar. Danny was too busy trying to not get smacked by the unfortunately tangible wing smacking his ear to snicker at the squeaking noise like his friends were.

"That's cool," Tucker managed to compose himself enough to look over his shoulder past some of their now curious classmates to check if Mr. Lancer was on his way. "But school doesn't seem like the best place to bring a dragon."

"It's better than leaving him at home."

"Your parents know about him?!" Sam leaned in to hiss, already looking ready to throw down if anyone hurt the foot long, ghostly lizard currently playing with his hair.

"He won't leave me alone," Danny explained, exhausted by having to go through this for Ancients who knew how many times since last night. At least he wasn't having to twist the story around like he had to do with his parents. "Did you know that all of Dora's Knights are dragon knights? Because I didn't."

He waited a moment as they both did their best to imagine the dragon turning into a similarly sized knight. Or, that's what Danny assumed they were doing as he tried to do the same when Dora first explained this, but it wasn't a transformation like she and her brother could do.

"So, it's protection?" Tucker asked, baffled.

"No, it's my dragon." Danny pointed to himself. "I'm the one who got knighted, remember?"

The dragons were companions.

"Honestly, not really. Too much stuff happens to you, dude."

"Fair." Danny didn't always believe he went through all of that either.

"How'd you get him past your parents? Do you need a place to stay?" Sam pressed, still focused on the biggest problem.

"I told them he's a blob ghost." He watched them both stare at him, then look to the little dragon that was determinedly reaching the peak of mount Danny via the footholds which usually found use as his nose and ear, then back. "I know, I'm not sure how I managed it either. Something clicked with them about 'post-human consciousness', ghostly shape shifting, and how I really liked dragons as a kid. After arguing about it for practically the whole night not going to question it. Hopefully, the little guy can learn to go invisible before they move on to experimentation instead of just observation."

"That almost explains how you can keep him at home, but what about-"

"Dragonriders of Pern, Mister Fenton!" Mr. Lancer sounded somewhere between aghast and resigned. "What is that?"

"It's my, er." Frowning, Danny put one hand up to keep the dragon from falling and reached down to pull out the form his parents filled out for him this morning to ensure the school wouldn't stop this 'experiment'. Holding it out, he read the reason off the page, "my emotional support ghost-dragon. I need him. For reasons. Sir."

Mr. Lancer's sigh was almost as long as Jazz's was when she heard.

Well, that was settled. Now he just had to figure out how to explain why the dragon was going to follow Phantom too.

Wes was going to have a field day.

Sooo I missed all of Phic Phight due to personal, real life reasons (most good, some not) but the ideas I started cooking up in that first week still need to be written down before they eat me from the inside lol Also, I guess this could count a little bit for Dannymay day 1, though I'm late for the dragon prompt there too haha

I maybe made the dragon a little younger and less capable of speaking than the prompt called for, but I like him anyway. Even if Danny refused to name him.

Dannymay2025 Day 1 Dragons

Master post Day 0 Day 2

Danny's parents have been off on a ghost hunt all day, so he feels safe to sit on his bed in ghost form with a spiky ball of ecto ice in his hands. He glances up at Sam and Tucker, one relaxed on a beanbag chair reading her latest purchase from Skulk and Lurk, and the other fiddling with his PDA at Danny's desk. He goes back to shaping the ice.

Jazz knocks on Danny's open door a little later, shivering slightly.

"Danny, next time you're going to spend so much time at home practicing with your ice, can you let me know ahead of time so I can grab a sweater and come watch? ...Purely for documentation of your growth, of course."

"Uh-huh. Purely that. Whatever, come on in, I guess."

"Are you aiming for something specific or just using it as a stress ball?"

"I'm trying to make a dragon for Dora. Tuck, mind showing her the prompt list? I don't want to have to start all over yet again. Ugh, how can I know exactly what I want it to look like, but I can't get my ice to cooperate?"

Tucker pulls up the post with the event details and prompt list and holds his PDA up so Jazz can see.

"Interesting. Okay, so, have you created anything as complex as a dragon before?"

"No, I haven't, but it was the obvious choice for the prompt."

A certain tune starts playing from Tucker’s PDA as he snickers. "Maybe the ice will just take shape if you let it--"

"I'm not Elsa."

Sam closes her book with a snapping sound. "The distraction worked, though." She gestures to the now-complete dragon sculpture in Danny's hands.

"How?! I've been at this for hours!" Danny examines it from multiple angles.

Suddenly there's a bang as the front door of the house slams open.

"Jazz, Danny, we're back!" Jack bellows from the bottom of the stairs. "Come down for dinner! We grabbed pizza to celebrate capturing a whole herd of blob ghosts! There's also a meat lover's for Tucker and a veggie on cauliflower for Sam if they're here!"

Danny smiles. "Y'know, Mom and Dad may be oblivious to a lot when it comes to ghost stuff, but they do care. I'll just stick this somewhere safe for now and hand out all the ones for my friends and allies in the Zone at the same time when the month is over." The ice dragon and Danny's ghost form disappear in a flash. "Let's go eat."

Danuary Day 5

The day's prompt gave me a set of confusion so mind defaulted to poetic and dark. i give you angst sprinkled with fluff and metaphors that may actually be true. @crossoverdanuary will be cross-posted

Day 5- Fortune & Pokemon

It had been years since Danny had human connection. After all, the things he had known when human were long gone as his world had evolved. He had seen the slow death of all those around him, as he stood frozen in the narrowest space in the hourglass.  

His world was the origin, the development had begun to branch as soon as his time paused. He was king, Balance, Space, Son of Time, and the Deity of Fortune. His luck and core blessed those who held others dear, and cursed those with no love or reason in their hearts. Many good souls had come and gone, some thinking themselves cursed but were truly the most blessed. He had created afterlives for those who died heroes and those who died evil. He made the worlds in between, always the closest to his home. So that he may protect those closest to his kind. His daughter and son shone their ideas upon worlds letting their choices guide the universes, after all they were his.  

He was yet not full, his life was missing something, what; he did not know. He needed a friend. So what he created was creatures of his wildest dreams, fish that became dragons controling water, living ecosystems that developed sentience controling the plants they carried on their backs, blobs of goo that could morph and mimic, and shadow beasts that sough comfort in the energy they were made from. He created creature after creature, finding those in his memories and creating ones that may have brought them joy. He placed the creations on a world that he adored, a gift. Then he left a final being, powerful as he to look out for the little blessings of the world.

High King Dannal felt a pull in his chest, a call for him. A soul was calling for him at a temple made by his gifts. Calling him Danny. It had been a long tome since the boy that never grew had heard that name.  

He followed.

Over the course of a month, Bruce Wayne has been followed by these little green creatures relentlessly.

The man himself didn't even know why these little... blobs, started following him, according to him, one just showed up one day, left a few days later, and came back with more.

The batkids have obviously made multiple jokes about how his adoption powers extend to even non-human entities.

(Jarro the Starro is a hard example.

Unluckily for Bruce , they seem to follow him while he's out on the prowl as Batman, luckily for Bruce however, no one seems to figure connect the dots of Bruce Wayne and Batman being the same person.

(Unknownst to him, the batkids edited the theory of Batman being Bruce's sugar baby to include the Blobs and calling them their unadopted kids and calling Batman the mother)

More and more just seem to... pop up, really. It wasn't a problem, the manor had more than enough space for them, and they were completely and utterly harmless really.

It wasn't a problem.

Until, at the end of the month, with the entire Wayne family in attendance at a gala plus their new unofficial yet official siblings.

Something happened.

A bunch of blob ghosts popped up through the room's floor, and that wouldn't be a problem.

If it weren't for a voice following after.

"Yes, yes. I'm still following, don't worry."

Which was immediately followed by a large, and they mean large, tendrils of green goo (that looks similar to the Blobs) raising from the floor.

The entire Batfam was instantly on alert. The rest of the Gala attendees watching on in both curiosity and some fear.

It kept raising, and raising, and raising. Until the tendrils fused into a mass of goo that morphed into a god damn dragon.

A dragon who was holding its face on top of its claw, while Bruce Wayne was pushed forwards by the multitude of Blob towards it.

It looked down at him, seemingly bemused and eyes holding a hint of recognition, as if he was vaguely familiar.

"So, you are the one so favored by my subjects, it seems?" The dragon leaned down, still staring down at Bruce. "Well, you do seem to hold some features of my own father, so I suppose they could be a reason why."

The dragon sniffed, before blinking in reply.

"Oh, you stink of death."

Danuary24_ Free Day (+ Voyage?)

I'm a bit late because I wanted to clean the sketches digitally, but @crossoverdanuary you can blame @cleanlenins and their birthday present for this idea! (⁠≧⁠▽⁠≦⁠)

In this crossover, when the Portal Incident happened, Danny got Isekai-ed into the One Piece World early in the East Blue saga (still haven't decided exactly when).

It's also (back in Amity) a No One Knows AU, so when the Portal started working "out of nowhere", Danny seemingly disappeared in the same period (no one could actually pinpoint when, though, due to neglect).

Was Danny friends with Tucker and Sam? Did they even exist in this Amity at all? No clue, but the only thing I know for certain is that Danny was a lonely boi...

Until the Strawhats happened, that is.

Like canon, Danny needed a while to start learning how to use his powers, which were such a trial and error thing that he ended getting a slightly different "moveset", so to speak:

Basic common powers + Ghost Form_ ✓

Ice powers_ ✓ (after Drum/Alabasta)

Overshadowing_ X (technically he still could, but has no idea it's a viable option)

Weakness to the Seastone_ ✓ (it has the same properties as the Ectoranium)

Telekinesis_ ✓

Ghostly Wail_ ✓ (post Water 7, if you know what I mean) However, it leaves him so drained that in addition to going back to human form, he's also unable to move for a while (pre-time skip)

Devil Fruit Sense_ ✓ (works like Ghost Sense)

Duplication_ X

(NEW) Spiritual Extraction:

If an object has enough personality/presence, Danny can extract/create a spiritual projection (or even a ghost if the physical object is destroyed) of it. The "blob ghosts" thus created are capable of interacting (minor powers included) with the material world depending on how much of his ectoplasm he feeds them. The Going Merry is the first example of it (AKA the first pic), followed shortly after the Gomu Gomu no Mi and the Hito Hito no Mi (Luffy and Chopper's Devil Fruits). (Oddly enough, the Hana Hana no Mi and the Hono Hono no Mi, Nico Robin's and Ace's fruits respectively, can't be projected, but they dismiss it as Danny's weird biology.) Few other objects that can be affected include the Wado Ichimonji, the Sandai Kitetsu and Luffy's Hat. (Still deciding what else to add.)

More details under the cut (Lenn it will definitely be spoiler-y for you, since you're still at Water 7, so read at your own risk! (⁠.⁠ ⁠❛⁠ ⁠ᴗ⁠ ⁠❛⁠.⁠) )

As you probably have already guessed if you're following the Japanese scans, the reason Luffy's fruit can be projected is because it's a Zoan.

The reason for this is that the manga said that Zoan have their own personality (which could overwhelm the user if their will isn't strong enough) and so I interpreted that this implies also a spirit/soul within!

(Thus, in the second pic, the mini swirly sun over the sleeping Danny, Merry and Sunny is Nika, who's bewildered by the mere concept of staying still and resting. You should move and have fun!!)

Other spoilery plot things include:

Usopp never deflected at Water 7 (there was still angst about the physical death of the Merry, but having her literal spirit hanging out with and scolding you if you were spiraling helped immensely);

Franky's personality (since he's one of his creators) rubbed off Sunny, so he's prone to join him in his dances and screaming "SUUUUUPEEEERRR!";

Danny gives off passive harmless ectoplasm radiations (moreover when he's in ghost form) that the Merry feed on when she's a full ghost and so doesn't need any active recharge;

because of his high metabolism, Danny has to eat either a lot (not Luffy-levels) or food choke-packed of nutrients. They also notice that the rawer the meat, the less Danny needs to eat (since it has higher content of non-degraded ectoplasm);

As I was writing the previous point, a thought occurred to me: could this also be a Ghost Hunger AU where Danny also feeds on emotions? 🤔 Let's keep it on maybe, because with Luffy around it would be like a nuclear reactor to feed on. No, I changed mind again, it's a YES, because there's no Ambient Ectoplasm in the One Piece world (contrary to what I headcanon Amity Park), so the only way for Danny to survive at all would be to stay on Luffy's side almost constantly.

And this leads me to the timeskip separation: because of the battle with Kizaru and the Pacifistas, and consequent use of 1-2 Wails, Danny has to retreat to his Core (first time ever happened), causing panic and forcing Luffy to stash it in the ribbon of his hat due to the heat of the battle (and so be separated along with him).

Danny stays unconscious two whole arcs, until Luffy is about to die of poison on Level 5 of Impel Down. He still hasn't enough energy to manifest outside his Core, but he gives his Captain as much as he could to keep him alive until the Okamas find and save them; he continues to do so even during the Hormone Treatment, having received a boost from Bon Kure and the others' emotional cheering.

After a short rest (he fainted) made during the escape, Danny wakes up again at Luffy's Conqueror Haki shout and given how much death and despair there's in the air, he's able to manifest again and speed up the rescue.

Who lives and who dies? No clue, but given my bleeding heart, Ace Lives, but not without grave injuries for the three of them (maybe so much that Danny ends again into his Core).

I just realized that this could end with Danny adopted officially into the ASL (Luffy had already started the process)... Our boy Danny is so Adoptable™ LMAO

Sabo regains his memories at the news of the close call and hijacks any mode of transportation to reach the trio. Two years timeskip happen with quartet bonding and training, then into the New World We Go!

Nothing else comes to mind at the moment, but I guess that I already said enough, don't I? (≧∇≦)

WIPs I'll never finish

I was going through my Krita folder to see if there was anything I wanted to work on or redo, just trying to get inspiration when I'm so fatigued right now, and realized there's a whole ton of art I never posted because it never got finished and never will be. I was always too shy to post it unfinished before, but this is Tumblr. This is the WIP site. So, I'm gonna do it before I change my mind.

First my Folklore WIP. @sinbinfamiliar because I was going to show you when it finished and just never finished it. This was like three years ago. Jill was my OC to ship with Scarecrow in their New York adventure. I never finished the shading or adjusting the gradient on Jill's clothes.

A scoundrel fairy I made up to ship with Captain Hook. Never finished detailing her wings or the thing she was holding, don't even remember what it was going to be. A pearl maybe. I didn't name her, but she was going to be the opposite of Prilla; instead of getting too much human with the Laugh that made her, she's multiple Laughs that ran into each other and combined into one fairy.

I was going to add props, I still had to adjust Syndrome's proportions, and I wasn't satisfied with Plasmabolt's outfit. It was based on NiGHTS from the Sega games but felt too out of place. I had several scraps of story ideas that never added up, from her being a real fairy and that's why Syndrome's super massacre never reached her, or her getting sent forward in time somehow... someway or another they're going to be trapped somewhere and have to rely on each other to survive, but I dunno how yet.

I started this years ago. YEARS. She was going to be a jellyfish girl as a Fosters Home for Imaginary Friends OC. I just never got around to finishing her. Didn't even name her. I'm sorry, jellyfish girl.

My Dragon Ball Z OCs. Julep's horns are too small, and her colors are still weird, I never managed to get the right balance for her pastel palette and it just put me off from coming back to it. I do like Danny's outfit, though, she does get the 'punk daughter of Vegeta from an alternate timeline' look down. Jolibee is almost there, but I need her to look a little more silly instead of just sultry.

Tried to redesign these two by mixing their (multiple conflicting) in game appearances with my style. Didn't like it. Never finished.

Wanted to have my silly, hillbilly isekai girl dancing with the Outsider in the Void. I did like it, I just... never finished it. Couldn't say why.

Two NiGHTS WIPS. The one on the left is a total redo of a Nightmaren, this girl being a helpful guide through nightmares and maze dreams with her lantern. I absolutely love how she came out, but never shaded it or added a background. On the right is Twixt, my human-turned-Nightmaren, learning to fly with my total redesigns of Reala and NiGHTS. Never finished shading or adding a background.

This was way back before I redesigned Dottie completely. I never finished the background, it was supposed to be a battlefield that Dottie and Cad were fighting in. I think I was trying to imply Dottie was kicking or maybe using the Force and swinging with the momentum of Cad's arm? But, it just looks like they're holding hands. Oops lol.

Okay, so this was a weird idea I had where a shred of Thrax ended up going from the hospital in Osmosis Jones to a lab where they accidentally dumped him in... I don't know, growth serum, or some chemical that made him grow way out of proportion. And this lady was some backwoods craftswoman who found his misshapen blob when Thrax tried to escape and for some crazy reason felt bad for the pulsating goo?? And fed him meat until he got better and got human sized?? And then he was in awe of nature and became nice????? I don't know, man, I must have had a fever.

Had this story idea where Bunny was remade by an undercover association and went back to Townsville, and got a pet store as her cover story so she could keep an eye on something big going down around her sisters. And, then she fell in love with Ace because he's too much of a big dork as a grown man to keep being a malicious gangster, and if you've seen the Gorillaz clips, his sense of style is goofy and awful. But, gosh, is this an eyesore. I had just discovered a website of customizable patterns I could use in my art and I threw them EVERYWHERE. It BURNS.

Anyway, that's all I have for now. I mean, I have plenty more WIPs, but I didn't want to post the ones I actually do want to finish, because I think that will cement the idea of not finishing them in my head, if that makes sense? But, at least these won't be hanging over my head forever. I'm glad I got them out.

Hey guys! Thinking of designing OCs for Danny Phantom again because the show absolutely slaps for helping train character design.

Give me anything? Like, objects, a canon character, an au maybe, anything. I want to see what I can come up with?

Heck, if you're a writer you can give me a passage from your fanfic and I'll try to design a character based on my imagination from reading it.

I'm going to be trying my best to expand my horizons here because I think I have a comfort zone with characters and I should explore more body shapes and proportions and stuff, and I want to get out of it.

I don't expect to get a lot of prompts, so I'll just stick to one thing from whatever replies I get, and maybe talk about my process after?

I'm just really excited about designing in this show in particular because the ghosts can be anything???

Like, even before season 3 where designs got more weird, we had fuckin Skulker, and he's a blob in a robot???

Sydney Point Dexter is unironically such a nice creative ghost design because he plays with the colour scheme of the show, or the lack of it? Like, DP is a very colourful show.

Oh, and Dora is a dragon! Like, they were very creative with the designs.

All of Technus' designs? Fashion icon, and I know that his design as a robot spider was too detailed so they couldn't keep it but man that rocked!
