“Sure you don’t wanna just stay in,” he asked coming up behind you. You felt his arms around your waist, but were only greeted with your own image as you faced the mirror.

You leaned into his touch and tilted your head up to look into his eyes. “I’ve cancelled on Kyle like five times in the last month,” you reminded him, “do you really want a partner who’s an awful friend?” You teased him, booping his nose.

He crinkled his nose, unamused.

“I don’t like him,” he informed you, “he just wants to get in your pants.”

You scoffed, a little offended, “you say that about everyone.” you told him, “everyone in the world isn’t lining up to try to screw me, you’re being paranoid!” You said exasperated, waving your comb at him.

David smirked, “but babyyy,” he spoke, pouting, “you’re just so perfect,” he stroked your cheek, “who wouldn’t want to be with you? If I were Kyle I’d wanna be in my position too.” You blushed at his words and nuzzled your cheek into his hand.

“Stoppp you’re too sweet,” you said.

He smiled. He had you. “So you can see where I’m coming from right babe? I can’t let you go.”

Your smile fell from your face immediately as you dropped his hand, “can’t let me?” You asked him, your tone full of malice.

Fuck. He’d overplayed his hand.

“Just kidding babe,” he purred, pulling the strings in your mind to prompt you to believe him, “you know I’d never keep you from doing anything. You’re your own person, that’s one of the things I love most about you,” he lied as he watched your face morph into a smile once more.

He returned your smile, his holding a sinister twinge, “but the vampire inside me,” he started cautiously, “it’s possessive of its mate,” he pouted, “I try to suppress it, but it comes with the teeth babe. I can’t turn it off, I wish I could.” He told you solemnly.

Your eyebrows furrowed together as you looked up into his eyes. You cupped his face in your hands, “I’m sorry baby,” you said, “I didn’t realize it was an instinct thing.”

“It’s uncontrollable,” he assured you quickly, taking your hands from his face and holding them in his, “the vampire inside me gets so restless whenever you’re out with someone else.” He pouted.

“Oh baby,” you said sympathetically, “what can I do to make it better?” you asked.

He fought to keep the smirk from spreading over his face. He knew he wasn’t convincing you to stay home, not after his little slip from earlier, but maybe there was another way.

“Baby,” he started, “you know how sometimes I like to bite you right here,” he said placing a finger on the pulse point on your neck, “doing that reassures me that you’re mine, that we belong together.” ‘That you belong to me.’ He thought.

“So you want to bite my neck again?” You asked him, “yeah you can do that if it’ll help baby! I don’t want to make you uncomfortable.” You told him.

He sighed dramatically, “you know what would really help my vampire instincts?” He asked.

You furrowed your brow, looking at him expectantly.

He smirked, “why don’t you let me show you,” he said as he led you to the bed.

David slipped off his trench coat, jacket, and shirt before sitting down on the bed and pulling you into his lap.

You turned your head to look back into his eyes, “I have to leave in half an hour babe,” you told him.

“Don’t worry about it baby, this shouldn’t take long.” He promised while pulling your shirt over your head.

You settled back into his lap and leaned against his chest. He kissed your cheek softly before moving downward, kissing all over your neck.

He trailed kisses down to the familiar spot where your neck and shoulder met, licking and sucking. His teeth grazed the spot, silently asking permission. You breathed out as your eyes fluttered closed.

“Do whatever you want,” you told him.

He smirked before his fangs lengthened, that was exactly what he’d wanted to hear.

You hissed at the painful sensation of his teeth sinking into you but as the pain turned to pleasure, your hiss morphed into a moan.

He moaned with you as your blood flooded into his mouth. He was careful not to take as much as he usually would, he was far from done.

He withdrew his fangs from the crook of your neck and trailed then down the length of your arm. Leaving purple spots and teeth marks all over you.

Once he made it down to your hand, he turned your face towards his and took your fingers into his mouth, licking the end before sucking on each, one by one, while staring deeply into your eyes.

You stared back at him, mouth slightly agape as he toyed with you like he never had before. Your head felt cloudy, a mix of pleasure and blood loss as you allowed him to have his way with you.

“Be good for me ok?” He condescended.

You gulped and nodded.

He shifted you out of his lap until you were laying back on the bed. You turned to him confused. He smirked at you before rolling onto you and pinning your hands to the bed.

You gasped, filled with shock and excitement as he stared down at you.

He lowered his mouth to you chest, sucking and biting at the skin. Little pearls of blood appeared wherever he bit down into you.

After awhile, David released his grip on you to fish through your drawer.

“What are you doing babe?” You asked him.

“You’ll see baby,” he purred, “just stay real still for me.”

He pulled the handcuffs you thought you’d discarded long ago from your bedside drawer.

Your face flushed bright red immediately as you realized his intentions. “How did you know about those,” you asked mortified.

“Don’t worry about it babe,” he told you, “now you said you were gonna be good for me right?”

Your breath hitched, “yeah,” you said.

“Then hold still,” he whispered in your ear as he fastened your hands into the cuffs around the bed frame.

He placed a kiss on your lips, before sucking your bottom lip into his mouth and biting down. When he pulled back you could feel the blood trailing down your lips and falling onto your chest as he watched you, transfixed.

He moved down to your stomach, leaving small soft kisses and sucking gently, but never breaking the skin.

When he finished he made it down to your legs. Instead of his usually foreplay, he bit directly into your inner thigh prompting you to throw your head back and scream in a mix of agony and ecstasy.

He groaned as he fed from his other favorite spot, your moans and whimpers feeding his ego while your blood fed his appetite.

When he finally pulled away his eyes were yellow and his mouth was bright red. He kissed you once more smearing your own blood onto your lips.

He unlocked your handcuffs and rubbed your wrists gently as you fell back onto the pillows exhausted. Your eyes fluttering closed as you fought a losing battle to stay conscious.

“I’ll tell Kyle you’re not gonna make it,” David said smirking as he grabbed your phone.

You grunted in affirmation as you rolled over and drifted off to sleep, you body’s blood supply too depleted to do much else.

After sending Kyle a text from your phone letting him know you wouldn’t be meeting him for dinner tonight, and there would be no need to reschedule, David crawled into bed behind you and stroked your hair.

You shifted in your sleep exposing the column of your neck, which was covered in bites. You were all his.

A brief defense of a Boss & a Babe

So I’ve never added commentary like this before (usually prefer to sit back and enjoy the hot takes 🔥 & analyses from those much more informed & eloquent), but from what I’ve seen the consensus is ABAB is at the least disappointing and at the most infuriating. And I won’t lie I didn’t vibe with the first episode. But I’ve now watched the second and I’ve got thoughts (and feelings). To preface I had very little expectations going in. This is my first ForceBook experience & I didn’t really care for the premise or trailer, but thought I’d give it a try. And it’s not only more entertaining than I expected, but also kinda…deep? Boss is relatable. I read him as introverted and depressed (maybe from a break up and/or homophobic trauma?). It’s already hard to make friends as an adult when you’re introverted so I can only imagine how hard it is to make friends with coworkers who are clearly trying to keep their distance from you. My guy is lonely. Especially when they’re telling the new guy how cold & distant you are. My head cannon is nobody in the office is a reliable narrator because no one has bothered to GET TO KNOW boss/gun.

I didn’t like Cher at first because I read him as a silly kinda ditzy character, but I was wrong. I kinda love that he’s not afraid to show his concern for boss because that’s exactly what boss needs. Someone to cross the professional line and say “hey I know you’re not ok and I wanna be there for you”. Fuck professionalism in this rat race of a world, you need a friend. Maybe there are some problematic ethics at play, but it’s a BL ok there are plenty of other plots I hold a suspension of disbelief for so honestly not too far fetched imo

Even though they kissed in episode 2, I feel like the emotional build up of their relationship will be more of a slow burn and I love how realistic that is. I truly believe these two characters are both physically attracted to each other and want to have an emotional connection. I love the ForceBook chemistry. It’s both fun-flirty but also very affectionate. The way Cher is kind of sarcastic and silly to try & cheer up Boss reminds me of my relationship with my partner so maybe I am a little biased but their connection feels very realistic to me

About the kiss. I loved it. It was flirty, it was intimate and it made sense for the moment. Maybe I’m wrong but I don’t think Cher invited Boss up to his room to seduce him. I think he offered a warm, welcoming place to spend time after Boss told him he usually works late and then goes home alone. Cher knows how lonely Boss is and his genuine concern for him is so sweet. From inviting him up for noodles to inviting him to BBQ to meet his friends (and normalize having queer friends) is just so damn considerate & touching. Cher really seems to have the truest of intentions & I think I would be his real life bestie cheering him & boss on the sidelines, seriously. Maybe I’m problematic lmao

Did I mention I love we got a kiss in episode 2? I’m out here manifesting the break in the typical episode 5/6 kiss especially for these office BLs. Again it’s way more realistic for them to kiss each other at this point in their relationship & for the tone of the show. Sometimes I think a good timed kiss is way more impactful than a dramatic emotional yearning kiss 5 episodes in but maybe that’s just me. More playful, sweet early kisses plz & thank you 🙏🏻

I’m excited for more. Haven’t seen episode 3 yet as of this writing. Fingers crossed their relationship continues to be a sweet, supportive slow burn and not a dumpster fire so I don’t regret writing my first ever BL analysis 🤪

Bestie, what questions could there be about “Question”? I’m not being facetious, I didn’t know people didn’t understand it until reading TSSQ. I don’t want this to read as I think those people aren’t smart, because that’s not the case. I’m truly wondering. For me, “Question…?” is one of the few songs in her entire discography that I thought “thank you, taylor! This really clears speculation up!” when I heard the lyrics.

To confused anons- if you read each line in question it describes something we knew about Harry from that era of time. Starting with the very first line. Then there are lines that reference other Taylor songs that are also to be known about Harry, further cementing it. But the most obvious without writing a thesis on “Question…?”, is the opening line “I remember” from OOTW. I’m glad more people are enjoying it, but also, even if I didn’t know who it was about, it was a bop before too! 🤪

Quite literally the "OOTW" sample opening that song made my eyeballs shoot out of my skull and I screamed "MY DIVORCED PARENTS" into the night like a Haylor shewolf.

"Question...?" has always been absolutely crystal clear to me from the start. She is simply! Asking! Questions! Girly girly has a lot of unanswered things she is pondering and so she is having an entire conversation in her head whereby she asks her silly little ex a bunch of things about how their relationship careened into messy ending chaos. And she is simply asking these questions in a way that she does not care what the answers are and yet she also very much does care! She is having a whole ass internal monologue with a person in her head AND JUST! ASKING! QUESTIONS!

Questions like ...

Why'd you have to lead me on? Why'd you have to twist the knife?

Why'd you whisper in the dark? Just to leave me in the night?

Did you get anxious though, on the way home?

What do you tell your friends we Shared dinners, long weekends with?

Was it over when she laid down on your couch? Was it over when he unbuttoned my blouse?

Was it over then? Is it over now?

Did you think I didn't see you? There were flashing lights

Getting out of the go kart and taking off my helmet, I look over at Addie and Luce. Grinning at them before saying “Another year and another preseason karting session where Addie loses” the comment has Luce falling to her knees laughing as she is getting out of her kart. Smiling I look back waiting for Addie’s response “Har Har, at least I know that I’ll have the best strategist in Indy Car” she shoots back with a playful roll of her eyes. The statement not being wrong as Addy has won the Indy 500 at least 3 times, and the championship at least twice in ten going on eleven seasons in Indy Car. Every year since Addie started racing in Indy Car we have raced each other in go karts before the season starts. Eleven years down and we are still doing said tradition. More often than not Luce is the one that wins. Both Addie and I always asking her why not join Formula 1 or Indy Car. To which her response is always the same, she would rather be the one to make the fastest car and call the strategies than be the one behind the wheel. The tradition is always fun and releases all the stress and anxiety of a new season. Not knowing how the cars will perform or how the other teams cars will perform. Especially this season with new car, new team, new series.

So immersed in my thoughts I barely heard Addie ask a question.. “sorry, what did you say Ads?” I ask her looking over to my right

To which she playfully turn grinned before shoving her hands in her pockets and slowing asking “How are you feeling about the season?”

“Better, the car looks good, I am excited to get it on the track and test it out.” I say with a shrug

“I think you’ll be great. What do you think of Max as a teammate? Is he nice?” I heard rumblings if some of the drivers not being happy a female is joining the grid.” Luce quietly asked as if nervous about the response

“Yeah he’s nice, he has been super supportive and helpful. I know he gives off this grumpy vibe but he’s been kind. As for the other drivers I have yet to meet the others but I’m sure I will in 2 weeks. So who knows we’ll have to see.” I tell her with another shrug. Not really wanting to think about the reactions of the other teams I will be physically meeting in two weeks.

“I know that Lando and Oscar are excited. Lando has been texting me nonstop. Between talk of the cars and trying to get me to spill all your driving secrets.. kidding on the driving secrets part. But really I think your going to have a wonderful season. Don’t worry about any of the others who are stuck in the past. You have so many people cheering you on, I promise you won’t feel alone” Addie tells me walking over before pulling me in for a hug which turns into a group hug with Luce joining in.

With a shaky voice and on the verge of tears I mumble to the girls “I am going to miss you guys so much when you leave”

“Then we’ll just have to plan out a crazy amount of episodes for the podcast.” Addie states grinning

“Yeah, just think of the content, inside scoop on the f1 grid, Nascar grid and Indy grid” Luce adds laughter in her voice. Bad thoughts and tears forgotten.

”Chill, you know I’m scared of the dark too,” Y/n replied, stepping over a tall tree root.

“Why does your boyfriend live in the middle of the woods anyway? Don’t you think he’s hiding something from you?” Lisa wondered, following in Y/n’s steps.

”We’ve been dating for three years Lisa, and we promised each other to always be open and honest with each other. I don’t think he’s hiding something from me. Besides, nobody likes being visited at 12:00 a.m,” Y/n reasoned. 

“I get it, but don’t you find it a little suspicious that he specifically told you no visiting after 11:00 p.m, and literally lives in the middle of nowhere? He could be a mafia for all we know,” Lisa teased.

”You, know, I’m starting to regret letting you come,” Y/n rolled her eyes. “Look! We’re here,” she whispered, pulling Lisa behind a tree.

”Ooh,” Lisa stared at the dark mansion. “I thought it would be some shitty looking cabin. Minghao’s a freaking billionaire,” she awed. 

“Well, he’s a multi-millionaire. His parents own a very successful clothing brand in China,” Y/n explained.

”And you tell me this now?” Lisa put her hands on her hips.

”If I told you when I first found out, you would’ve asked him out first. I know you’re a gold digger,” Y/n pointed out.

”Good point,” Lisa laughed. Of course it was just a joke and not actually based on facts.

”Should we go in?” Y/n wondered.

”It’s a bit awkward if I go. You should though,” Lisa suggested.

”But you’re scared of the-“

”That was a long time ago Y/n, I’ve matured.”

”Yeah whatever,” she playfully rolled her eyes. 

“Seriously, go see your Romeo.”

Lisa gave her a small smile before she ushered her into the house and went back into the woods. Right before Y/n stepped into the mansion, she got a text

She sighed, slipping her phone back into her pocket. There were no lights on in the mansion, so she assumed everyone was asleep. But for some reason, the door was unlocked. She opened it and glanced around the eerily dark room. 

“Is anyone home?” she whispered, not wanting to disturb anyone if they were.

The reason Y/n came here in the first place was to surprise her boyfriend. She knew he said no visiting after 11:00 p.m, but she needed to know why. As she was about to take the stairs to Minghao’s room, she heard a bone chilling howl. It sounded like it was miles away, so she assumed she was safe. After entering his room, she looked around. No Minghao to be found. Only an open window with a ladder leading up to it from the dark forest below. She gulped hard, debating going down there. She ultimately decided to do it, and tried her hardest to be brave. 

“Minghao?” she called out once she was back in the dark labyrinth. Luckily, she had a flashlight. “Babe?”

She froze in her spot when she heard another howl. This time, much closer.

”Y/n?” a voice called from deeper within the forest.

”Minghao? Is that you?” she replied.

”Why are you here?” Minghao sighed.

”I came to see you,” she answered, still no sight of Minghao’s face. “Why are you hiding from me? Come into the light.”

”Y/n, you don’t understand. You can’t be here,” he warned.

”Minghao-“

”Please! I need you to go back into the house. Right now.”

”Just tell me what’s going on first!” 

“Shh! He’ll hear you!” he whisper-yelled.

”Who will hear me?”

A third howl was heard. This time, it was on the other side of the mansion.

”He’s found us. It’s too late, you have to come with me,” he explained, coming out from his hiding spot.

As he stepped towards Y/n, she shrunk back. 

“Minghao, you don’t look normal. Your eyes-“

”I’ll explain later. Now, we need to run.”

”Run?!”

”Shh!” he exclaimed, embracing her and using a hand to cover her mouth.

She couldn’t help but let out a quiet cry of confusion and fear. Minghao couldn’t let his emotions control him, they were in real danger. But the way she trembled just broke him. He planted a comforting kiss on her forehead and lips before taking her hands in his.

”We’re going to be alright. Just run, and don’t look back. Okay?”

She nodded her head slightly. He nodded in return and firmly grasped one of her hands and let go of the other. He began sprinting off into the forest, Y/n trailing close behind. As they ran, Y/n fought the urge to look back. But at this point, she didn’t need to. They were obviously running from a wolf. And possibly a werewolf. But did they even exist?

What seemed like hours was only ten minutes of running. The howling noises had ceased and the loud leaf crunching sounds had stopped. They were safe, for now.

”Okay. Tell me what’s going on,” Y/n begged.

He sighed heavily. “Alright. It’s hard to put into words, as they might not be so believable, so just, try not to scream?”

She tilted her head in confusion as Minghao stepped away from her. She could only stare in horror as Minghao’s skin suddenly became fur. His ears, pointier. A once nonexistent tail, visible.

Werewolves did exist. In fact, her beloved boyfriend was one of them. She could hardly believe her eyes, or any of her senses for that matter.

She backed up into a tree as Minghao began to approach her in his wolf form, tears threatening to fall. He whimpered when he saw how frightened she was. Minghao loved her. He didn’t want her to be afraid of him.

Y/n took a deep breath before reaching out her hand towards him. The wolf stepped closer and leaned his head into her touch. He was much bigger than an average wolf. Over two times the size. Y/n couldn’t help but smile, as she pet Minghao’s pretty wolf coat. It was a majestic grey and white ombré.

”You’re pretty as a wolf,” she complimented, earning a tail wag from him. 

Suddenly, Minghao’s ears perked up as he looked in the direction they were previously running from. He turned around and tilted his head, gesturing towards himself.

“You want me to ride you?” she asked.

He nodded eagerly, as if danger was pursuing them, which it most definitely was.

“Okay.”

She quickly sat on Minghao’s back and grabbed his long fur for support. He was pony-sized wolf, so he was the perfect size for riding. Once that same deafening howl was heard, he quickly broke into a sprint, making Y/n hold on even tighter. 

The thrill of being with the one he loved while running from the one he hated was unmatched to Minghao. His mind was only set on one thing: Y/n’s safety. For the past three years they had dated, that had always been his priority. And if he wanted anything more, it was the death of the person who was chasing them: Jung Songjin.

About ten years ago from the present day, Xu Minghao’s father, Liqiang, and Jung Songjin’s father, Minseok, were best friends, who both led their own werewolf packs. But one fateful day, Minseok went wild due to close proximity with an intoxicating plant. Liqiang had no choice but to kill his best friend. 

Still to this day, Songjin despises Liqiang and his son, Minghao. He would kill them both if it meant the death of himself as well.

Minghao had been hunted since the day he was born. It wasn’t fair, but so life is.

Minghao sighed in relief when he caught sight of the abandoned shed he loved to play in as a kid. It would be a safe place, for the time being.

Once he reached the door, Y/n slid off of his back and unlocked the door. Minghao quickly nudged her inside and followed her in. Once inside, he shifted back into his human form, his clothes from before magically reappearing. He bolted the door shut and closed all the curtains in the windows. He closed his eyes tightly and sighed when he closed the last curtain. When he turned around, he was immediately embraced by his girlfriend. He hugged her back tightly, rocking her side to side.

”I‘m scared,” she whispered, voice cracking.

His heart broke a little hearing her words. All he could do was be her safe place. And that’s exactly what he wanted to do. 

“It’ll be alright, I promise,” he soothed, running a hand through her soft hair. 

“It’s all my fault,” she sobbed into his chest, clutching his shirt tightly.

”No Baby,” he pulled away to look into her eyes. “It’s mine. I should’ve told you my secret sooner. If I had, we wouldn’t be here right now. I’m so sorry I lied to you. I thought I was keeping you safe,” he admitted.

“Oh Hao,” she looked deeply into his eyes. “Just promise me you won’t ever leave me?”

”Of course I promise,” he smiled.

He was about to lean in to kiss her when the sound of a shattering window interrupted him. He quickly, yet gently, shoved Y/n to the side and shifted into his wolf form to confront Songjin. But as soon as Songjin saw the girl, he shifted into his human form to speak.

"You have a pretty girlfriend Minghao," he chuckled evilly.

Minghao shifted back into his human form and stood in front of her. "You stay away from her you bastard," he seethed. 

 "I'd rather not. Besides, why kill you when I can make you suffer instead?"

 "What?"

"The girl. She's obviously very precious to you. Killing her would do much more damage," he smirked. 

 "Not if I kill you first," Minghao stated, quickly shifting before lunging at his enemy. 

His hopes were crushed when Songjin pulled a dagger from behind his back and stabbed the wolf straight in the gut.

"No!" Y/n cried, watching as Minghao was then picked up and thrown against the wall.

Songjin's attention was now focused on Y/n. She whimpered and backed into the wall as he neared her with a piece of broken glass in his hands. As he raised the shard, she closed her eyes, awaiting the painful impact. But it never came. She opened her eyes to see that Minghao, in his human form, had stabbed Songjin with the same dagger he was wounded with. Songjin dropped dead beside her.

 "Minghao," she gasped. Minghao smiled at her before he became dizzy and fell to his knees. He dropped the bloodied dagger and was about to have his head hit the floor when Y/n caught him. 

 "Ahh," he clutched his side.

"Oh my God," she stared at the deep wound. "Stay here, I'll find something to help you."

Minghao could only nod tiredly in response.

She returned with an old cloth that she found and pressed it against his stab wound. "You're so stupid," she chuckled, trying to hide how nervous she was.

"How am I stupid for saving the one I love?" he smiled at her lovingly, despite his immense pain.

She shook her head at his stubbornness and continued to press the cloth to the wound. 

 Suddenly, Minghao's facial expression changed from adoration to alertness. 

 "What's wrong?" she wondered.

"Ngh," he groaned in pain. "Songjin... he isn't alone."

Minghao didn't wait for her response and stood, trying his best to ignore the pain. He took her hand again and quickly led her out of the door, and began fleeing back to the mansion.

 "Can't you shift!?" she asked, fearing for her life, as well as his.

"It takes too much energy to shift into a wolf," he explained, only focused on the path ahead.

Once they arrived back at the mansion, they used the ladder to climb into Minghao's room. He was swift to close the window.

 "We should be safe until morning," Minghao sighed. 

 "May I see your wound?" she asked.

He nodded and slowly approached her. He tensed as her fingers trailed over his wound. "The fabric of your shirt is making it worse," she noted.

He blushed as he tugged the clothing article over his head, revealing his well toned body. It wasn't like Y/n hadn't seen it a million times before, he was just shy. She spent the next hour carefully bandaging his torso. She then made sure he was comfortable as he laid on his bed.

"Do you need anything?" she smiled.

"Just you," he replied.

She was mindful of his sensitive spot as she cuddled up against his bare chest under the grey blanket. She didn't hesitate to peck his lips when she got the chance. 

 "You're a werewolf," Y/n said out of the blue, as if she hadn't fully convinced herself.

"And you're a werewolf's girlfriend," he giggled.

 "You're in love with me."

 "Of course I am."

First few minutes of Q1 not giving much, except for Nico drifting away almost against the wall. We might've had a laugh with this so early...

Oh my goodness I almost shouted, that was scary, what was he thinking? 😭 Lewis ended up touching the wall, luckily he was super close to the pit lane, thank the stars... AND CARLOS NOW, WHAT IS GOING ON??? And it was just shown how Kevin scratched that wall as well.....

I hate this track. Can someone please stomp some sense into the damned FIA to stop building and using shitty tracks? Seriously, it's not funny anymore. Not justifying them, just trying to see reasons behind such actions. There were not enough images to really see properly what happened and why, so I'm just thinking about my first impressions. Mercedes really needing to rush into the track, what are they doing? They're out right now!!!! Oh my Lance, no.... 🥲

Starting Q2 while yawning so far, right now I'm not quite sure if it's because I'm beat or because this is the worst. Seriously, I think I might be on the verge of dislocating my jaw at this point 🤣

This is far from the team I fell in love with back at the end of 2021, honestly. Not because they're not winning, obviously. Race - Sunday

Well, barely made it after taking a very cold shower, but here I am. I missed all the bullshit going around before the race, thankfully. The shitshow is about to begin. Am I excited? Nope. Do I want it to be short and over right now? Yep.

Very clean start in general, maybe there was something tricky at the back of the grid but for now no clue. Oh, apparently Piastri had a very good start and ate up a few people. Moving on. Sargeant pits because of a broken front wing. No idea what happened. Moving on as well.

Sharl takes Kevin amidst Sid the Sloth's tries and then they both lose position. Tell me again how that car's not illegal 🤣 Apparently, someone made a sandwich outta Lewis at the start. No idea who. Estie Bestie going flying over those turns.

This is just... Meh. Even Alonso and Sainz said to the Spanish media that Fraudstappen would be 1st by lap 25 at most. AT MOST. I mean, if that doesn't tell you anything, I don't know what will. Even they know it's a lost cause already. Pretty sad. And seeing how it's going, he'll be 1st by the time they're on lap 15, 20 at most and I don't think it'll take that long since Carlos is useless.

Meanwhile, Lewis is still P13 and Sharl is P8. Can this be any sadder? Don't think so. Are you really saying that the most interesting thing of this race might be Kevin, Sharl and Estie Bestie fighting? Unbelievable. It's somewhat exciting to watch, not gonna lie to you.

Oh dear God is Carlos really gonna be penalized? I'M FUCKING LIVING RIGHT NOW HAHAHAHA. OH YES, 5-SECOND PENALTY, LET'S GO!!!! If no one can beat the undesirables, at least we have this.

I kinda blacked out for a minute. Not really, it's just... I'm not paying that much attention. This race is complete and utter bullshit. Just like this sport. The FIA wanted Mercedes (Lewis, but saying Mercedes is because that's the team he drives for, basically) out of the way, that's why they pushed these new regulations and instead of making it exciting as they promised they would, they just made RBR untouchable. That's it. No competition, no racing, no nothing. Absolutely heartbreaking, if you ask me. At least for what I gather, Lewis had competition all the way regardless of how crushingly powerful his cars were back then. He competed, not just drove to the sunset and forget about everyone else.

I just need someone to explain to me how the only 2 teams that breached the cost cap and were barely given a slap on the wrist for it, are the teams leading the championship and every single race, and why the fuck no other team is boicotting the sport or doing anything at all because of it.

I'm done with the race. I just hope both RBRs just crash against each other. It's the only chance of anything remotely interesting happening. So Fernando is watching the race ON THE SCREENS. I think that tells you everything that you need to know about this race.

The only interesting thing was seeing Lewis passing Sharl. That's it. Seriously, this needs to end.

I have nothing today after this. Seriously. No words on my end besides what I already said so far.

Good thing there's no race next week, I don't think I would've been able to take it.

but ok just to update y’all on my life real quick: i’m currently on day 3 of a 7 day work week (three different jobs) and on hour 13 of my individual workday and I’m in ALSO the middle of moving (we signed the lease friday night and I am literally getting off work in an hour to drive across town and drop off boxes only to head home for a handful of hours of sleep) and the fall semester just ended TWO nights ago and also I haven’t been able to write/edit ANYTHING that isn’t just the same budget redone 17 ways and I have Many podcast episodes I have to edit over the next few weeks before the new year starts and my accelerated winter class begins also have I mentioned that i’m sooooooooo sleepy. not that i’m complaining here this message made me laugh and i love you so sosososo terribly anon but it might provide context for my relentless girlgrinding (😏) that I must do to survive (pay for bills and moving expenses) and in order to make my new lifestyle with @lambdarubisco and @perihelions-crew possible. anyways I love you and I promise you you’ll get roots soon. maybe tomorrow. hopefully. fingers crossed bestie 🤪
