I sprained my wrist in my sleep, so obviously I go draw something instead of resting 👍🏼 but it's not finished because it hurts and it's 2am

Tommy is very happy watching his two favorite beings snoring in his couch!! So he must share with another favorite being aka Eddie (◕◡◕)

Her name is Nonni and she's a rescued fight dog. She snores as loud as Evan and by now Eddie and Christopher have many videos of those two harmonizing in their sleep.

Ok so I'm writing that original book project thing of mine, right? (YIPPIEEEEEEEEE) and I'm describing a room where the protagonist is gonna paint somebody but I'm having TERRIBLE problems imagining it bc i CAN'T. PICTURE THINGS. IN MY MIND somebody help me

I hope this doesn't come across the wrong way but i recently reread the entire familiar au (its as amazing as always!) and its so impressive to see how far you have come as a writer especially compared to the new cult au its honestly pretty inspiring

Thank you! It's truly nice to hear that I've made progress. I mean, obviously - hopefully - I would have after all this time, but sometimes the improvement is hard to see when you're so close to it.

#answers #I've been tempted at times to just take down some of my really old stuff #Because I am very 😬 when I reread it #But I think it stands as a nice relic/testament to how I've grown as a writer #In that I only roll around in agony about 90% of the time reading current writing now as opposed 575% with the old stuff #It feels like I don't know what I'm doing at any given time #But presumably I've learned SOMETHING #And my writing is not The Worst™#Funny how the baseline changes as skill changes because it's hard to remember sometimes that yes #Skill has improved!!#I say as I stare at this document with severe doubts and worry and agony #Nothing like looking at a 5k doc and going 'yeah this is only halfway to the end at BEST'#There is so much more yet to complete #Also super nice to hear that the cult thing is good to read #It's got a lot more visuals than my usual so I'm pushing my comfort zone #I am Not A Visual Person so that takes some Effort #All of these tags have been very navelgazing so here's a fun fact #If *I* can get better at writing by doing it for a long time #YOU can do it TOO and BETTER #It just takes - again - a lot of writing to get there

#yin-thoughts #fallen london #i'll elaborate on which ending i ultimately picked later #this post is spoiler-free. just wanted to say i finished it #overall i really really enjoyed evolution!! one of the best things FL has had to offer so far tbh #i see how some people wouldn't like it though. if you dont sign up for the 'side-character in another ambition' experience #plus the Ocean And Body Horrors™#it can be super disorienting and off-putting. im not surprised it left a bad taste in some mouths #from the perspective of me and my horrible little bat oc headcanons though i had a thoroughly delightful time.#the scoundrel finally gets to go home and sleep now. no more ocean horrors. at least until i get a hankering for echo stonks again #im looking forward to going through with the scientist and taking the opportunity to go an entirely different route #yknow. in the 2 million years it'll take to actually get this far with caeru #scoundrelventures

#'head of the lex luthor defense squad' clark is the best clark kent actually #smallville #smallvilleedit #svedit #clark kent #jonathan kent #lex luthor #clex #sv 1x20 #dcmultiverse #my gifs #ughhh everything about the way jonathan treated lex was such a bad attempt at foreshadowing #the writers clearly want us to be like 'ohohoh IF ONLY THEY KNEW that jonathan is ACTUALLY RIGHT and lex is gonna be EVIL someday!!'#but that completely ignores that there's no in-universe logic to jonathan's behavior because he's reacting to a lex that doesn't exist yet #so to the characters in the show (who don't actually know the future) he's just acting like a judgmental asshole towards lex for no reason #which frankly is a horrible look for a character who's supposed to be Good™#this convo is actually the closest the show ever gets to being self-aware about this IMO b/c clark is right and jonathan seems to hear him #but the problem (like always) is that it produces no actual change or character development #because jonathan backtracks the instant lex does something he can read bad intentions into. he never cuts him an ounce of slack or grace #(and then clark apparently forgot his own lesson in the later seasons because he started acting just like jonathan used to 🙃)#...anyway viewed in a vacuum this is actually a really good scene but with the rest of the series in mind it makes me wanna scream
