LOOKING FOR BETA READERS FOR A FEAR AND HUNGER ENKIVALDR FIC!!!!! More info below cut

Ok so, i’m writing a smutty stupid enkivaldr fic, i’m making them both as weird and odd as possible. The basic plot goes as follows:

Ragnvaldr has devoured a dark priest, leading to the possible loss of a few soul stones and talismans. Enki, of course, absolutely blows up and screams at him in typical Enki fashion. He calls him a stupid Oldergårdian, and that makes Ragnvaldr snap and try to beat the shit out of him.

The crow mauler (or maybe another enemy, i’ll figure it out then) gets to them because of all the noise, and they’re forced to barricade themselves in a random room. They fight more, at some point Ragnvaldr bites Enki and the pathetic little stick man whines, and stabs him. This goes on for a bit and oh shit they’re making out, blood licking stabbing blah blah blah. First its really messy and angry, but the only reason Enki cums is because Ragnavaldr says some cornball shit like “you look so beautiful like this” like he wasnt cursing his bloodline five minutes ago. Fic ends with them agreeing to never speak of this again.

So far i’m almost at 1k words, but thats barely the start of the fic. If interested please reblog or comment! I’ll send you the link to the doc

I think I'm at the point with both 'You were saying?' and "The sun, the moon, and a shitty bit of Latin" that I might need to ask around for some beta/ advanced readers. I'd return the favor of course. I figured it'd be easier to ask within the fandom if all I could offer was an exchange of services, that way we both might get to read something we enjoy.

It's a longer fic, still in progress, only about 2 and a half chapters and 13k words so far, but it could easily reach close to 50k or 60k by the time it's over. I just need feedback on flow, characterization, and overall consistency and readability. Not really any editing, though if you catch any typos or little grammatical errors, then that's always appreciated too. Mostly, I just want to know that it makes sense and it's enjoyable to read.

Here's the gist of it:

When Solas leaves after the fall of Corypheus, he leaves Althima Lavellan with more than a broken heart. Now, she has to navigate the aftermath of the War against the Elder One and the pain of Solas's disappearance while dealing with an unexpected pregnancy. She struggles to find herself again amidst all the changes that come but she's determined to do right by her child and all the people who depend upon her, while never abandoning her search for Solas. I'd like it to bridge the gap from Corypheus's defeat to Trespasser (and hopefully) to Veilguard, though I doubt it will be canon compliant at all by that point.

I've never worked with a beta reader before, but I figure maybe two extra sets of eyes could help me feel a bit more confident about this fic and putting it out there in the world. All the feedback would be through Google Docs. If you're interested in helping me out with this, send me a message 🩷

Alright, in an attempt to find a beta reader for my Jayvik fic, I will be offering WIP for the “WIP Wednesdays”

Though it will be nothing too-spoilery. Hoping that maybe my writing piques someone’s interest and they’d be willing to ready the 60 or so pages I’ve got right now 😅

For some context it is a Canon divergence/AU mainly from Viktor’s perspective. It’s angsty, low-key mystery, and the slowest burn imaginable. So a little while ago Nat and I {Faith} decided we would like to have Beta readers for our works. We then thought maybe some of you would enjoy being that for us while helping you guys be a little more interactive with us. That being said, we made an application for you guys to fill out for a chance to be a reader, so if you are interested the link will be down below.

We do know we already posted the Beta readers application once and we want to thank all that applied the first time around. However we have decided to just reset it all and start fresh, because when we posted it the first time around we honestly got so busy with our outside lives (it was a bad idea on our part to post it around the holidays…) that we just forgot and for that we are truly sorry. We also didn’t get very many applying so we are hoping that if we just start 100% fresh maybe we can pull some new readers in to apply and we also made it a little more structured.
