My Bianca Di Angelo headcanons before I forget, and because rick riordan didn't give us much to lean on

- She didn't get to have much interests or allow herself to develope an independant personality other than being an adult figure in Nico's life because she had to take care of him.

- She's a pretty quiet person. She only talks in one on one convos because she's kinda introveeted, and she finds conversations tough. She has no clue how to join in.

- This makes her an observer. A listener.

- Her favorite color is dark brown. it's just something about it.

- I saw this on a tiktok that her fav movie is Dorothy and the wizards of oz, and I agree. And since she loves it. Someone introduced her to the chronicals of narnia. And that's like her fav movie series (she also listens to the audiobook because dyslexia so she can't read it.)

- She hates coffee. But she loves cappuccinos/iced cappuccinos and Frappuccinos because they are like coffee flavored slushies (atleast the one I've had is)

- Her favorite animals are rinos and african elephants.

- Her style/aesthetic is dark academia

- Her nickname is Bee. Mostly because that's what Nico would call her when he was like 5 and it kinda stuck, i guess.

- To get kinda child of hadesish in what she's interested. She loves archeology and history which correlate in a way. Because archeology helps you learn about the past.

- She has a somewhat interest in dinosaurs, especially there bones and how they work. So she loves going to museums.

- She's aroace. Absolutely. Idk, it just makes so much sense to me.

- Her hobbies include watching video essays, photography, birdwatching, and doing the thing where you take flowers and squoosh them in a book for some reason. Her favorites are spider lilies.

- She's like that one friend who has zero allergies whatsoever (like me!!!).

- She loves indie horror movies. Like the ones that aren't just scary. The ones that have deeper meanings and lessons, and tell an actual beautiful story. In a kind of poetic way.

- On that note she found herself in the rabbit hole that is dark poetry, and is yet to come out.

thinking of a scene idea in season three when the gang encounters aphrodite. and one of the experienced half-bloods like thalia or zoe or grover are explaining to bianca how aphrodite's physical form is unique for each person. beauty is in the eye of the beholder and all that. and the camera just pans over to percy whose overhearing this conversation and staring at aphrodite. and its revealed that aphrodite has taken the form of annabeth in percy's eyes. confirmation for the audience and for percy that his feelings for annabeth are a little ways past friendship.

Many would think that in order to attract Hades, Maria di Angelo would do something morbid or that her family would own a funeral home, but they are completely wrong. Coming from a long line of florists, Maria di Angelo inherited the business and sold flowers in Venice. Because her shop was close to a local cemetery, it was very common for her to buy flowers to leave on the graves of loved ones, and she always grew some especially for her parents and dead relatives.

Nico and Bianca did not fall behind in the family tradition, they spent hours on end tending to the garden with their mother, getting dirty in the dirt and even walking through the cemetery while Maria prayed for the deceased. Bianca was more interested in studying about all this, about the earth, flowers, jewelry and this enchanted her even though it was not common for women to study. Nico, on the other hand, didn't care much about the meaning of things, he just read the biography of each tomb they found and thought about the premature deaths of some of them.

People would say that Nico was the weirder of the two, but that's not true. Bianca, equally weird, was a weird child and too smart for her age, skeptical and uninterested in boys, unlike how a girl should be. Her younger brother was restless, always skipping school to play a card game that no one else knew about, he was interested in strange things and nothing caught his attention more than ancient Greek heroes, monsters and other mythological creatures. He never chose statues of princesses, always the brave heroes in skirts, the so-called foustanellas.

Nico felt strange from time to time, a twinge in his brain, a chill down his spine or butterflies in his stomach. The funny thing is that every time this happened, some fatal accident would appear in the newspaper. Always involving people he knew. But it must just be a coincidence.

Bianca felt none of that, no strange feelings or visions of something beyond human, so she never understood any of her brother's interests in monsters, or how he managed to know where all the dead rats scattered around the school grounds were, much less how Nico couldn't read books as easily as she could.

When they were children they understood each other perfectly, Bianca spoke, Nico obeyed. They always walked behind each other, shared things and adults certainly confused them when they were babies more than once. Almost like twins, if they weren't two years apart they could disguise themselves as each other without raising suspicion.

Maybe they could have been the same age. Maybe they could have looked exactly the same.

some monsters are too creepy, some deaths are too much, some scenes are too traumatuzing even in texts its sometimes surprising how Rick even managed to keep it in line

only his humour, sass, and jokes saved it

For one thing , The Last Olympian the scene with May Castellan literally creeped me out💀

(and the Manhatten Battle itself was, to go into detail, a nightmare. It was not that horrifying because it was Percy's pov!)

Pjo headcanon:

Percy started a thing that he calls “socializing day” for the big three kids. It’s where the five of them all go to the mall for the day and grab some food and just get to enjoy being kids.

Percy started it/calls it “socializing day” because Hazel, Nico, and Jason all grew up not experiencing things like malls or stuff like that so they make it a day trip. Thalia still joins because she says it’s to make sure they don’t get into trouble but really she misses being a kid.

i keep thinking about the tragedy that is bianca di angelo. she's only twelve. forever. she made one choice for herself and yes it got her killed but also she was a kid in a messy situation who just wanted some freedom, some control over her own life. she wanted to be an individual, to be herself, to be someone more that nico's sister. and she dies. and that's all she's known as. nico's dead sister. the only person who remains who truly knew her is nico. and he's consumed by his grief, and his love, and at one point his resentment, for his sister. but none of this is about bianca di angelo. it's all nico's dead sister. percy's main reason to grieve bianca is also mainly because he made a promise to nico. when talking about her death, no one thinks about how she felt. why did she do that? what was she like?
