Happy Witchcore Samantha Wednesday!

This week's moodboard is a collaboration with @cordellwinchesterwalker , who wanted to share her Mexican heritage with us and teach us about Dia De Los Muertos! She wants us to know that Dia De Los Muertos is an ancient Mexican festival, also known as The Day of the Dead. It is celebrated from October 28th-November 3rd, with each day having a significant meaning. Unlike Halloween, Dia De Los Muertos does not shy away from the concept of death or spirits, and is mainly a holiday to honor your lost loved ones and spend time celebrating their memory.

I had so much fun learning about this custom, and it makes me happy knowing by showcasing and honoring other cultures I can others feel seen and represented in their traditions. I hope everyone who celebrates has a wonderful Dia De Los Muertos!

probably time for this story i guess but when i was a kid there was a summer that my brother was really into making smoothies and milkshakes. part of this was that we didn't have AC and couldn't afford to run fans all day so it was kind of important to get good at making Cool Down Concoctions.

we also had a patch of mint, and he had two impressionable little sisters who had the attitude of "fuck it, might as well."

at one point, for fun, this 16 year old boy with a dream in his eye and scientific fervor in heart just wanted to see how far one could push the idea of "vanilla mint smoothie". how much vanilla extract and how much mint can go into a blender before it truly is inedible.

the answer is 3 cups of vanilla extract, 1/2 cup milk alternative, and about 50 sprigs (not leaves, whole spring) of mint. add ice and the courage of a child. idk, it was summer and we were bored.

the word i would use to describe the feeling of drinking it would maybe be "violent" or perhaps, like. "triangular." my nose felt pristine. inhaling following the first sip was like trying to sculpt a new face. i was ensconced in a mesh of horror. it was something beyond taste. for years after, i assumed those commercials that said "this is how it feels to chew five gum" were referencing the exact experience of this singular viscous smoothie.

what's worse is that we knew our mother would hate that we wasted so much vanilla extract. so we had to make it worth it. we had to actually finish the drink. it wasn't "wasting" it if we actually drank it, right? we huddled around outside in the blistering sun, gagging and passing around a single green potion, shivering with disgust. each sip was transcendent, but in a sort of non-euclidean way. i think this is where i lost my binary gender. it eroded certain parts of me in an acidic gut ecology collapse.

here's the thing about love and trust: the next day my brother made a different shake, and i drank it without complaint. it's been like 15 years. he's now a genuinely skilled cook. sometimes one of the three of us will fuck up in the kitchen or find something horrible or make a terrible smoothie mistake and then we pass it to each other, single potion bottle, and we say try it it's delicious. it always smells disgusting. and then, cerimonious, we drink it together. because that's what family does.

What do you do to the muppets who do bad things?! How do the others often visit you? How can we meet you!?!! And can you pat his head?!

So many questions ! Keeper focused only on the first one... But don't worry, the other answers have either been already answered or will come soon enough I believe :)

As a side fact, Peacekeeper does not allow bad behavior in her space. Truly bad puppets just cannot enter it (more on that later)

Dunno if anyone asked this but like…Wizard redemption arcs?

I’ve got my own takes on them as well for my rewrite:

-Orgon would never, too goal-oriented

-Anagan probs would through Flora

-Duman’s a 50/50, he’ll probs stick with his band

-Gantlos is a wild card arsonist but I believe he can do it, may take a lot of time though (90% of this is headcannon skcjskxjsk-)

But those are my takes what about yours?

Idk this is kinda hard because like?? Not to be a stinky wizard apologist I am, but I like a bit of "you both suck wtf happened here bro" in my planet history, which makes a clear cut redemption a bit more difficult ig?? Like in whose eyes are they being redeemed? The fairies' who were also very much morally bouncy? Or uh maybe the audience idk- I forgive em.

That being said though, depending on if you try to tackle the whole group at once or take it one at a time, it could both be interesting.

I've had thoughts where you have Ogron, Gantlos and Anagan: No Circle (object), no Duman, half their powers if not a quarter, washed up and heavily in mourning- At that point just. Talk to them. They're in no position for a full on revenge spree, they are SAD, they're weak. Either just leave them be or talk them into joining a cause for mutual and equal benefits, then if they ever do get back to full strength they'll simply not bother you again. Rough concept kinda, but yeah. Side note that in this timeline, if Duman does eventually claw his way outta the Gardenia grave, he's not going to be happy. Actually maybe giving the washed up wizards their Duman back would do all the work by itself? They'd show genuine gratitude and Duman wouldn't be allowed to be mad. Win win.

Then we have one by one, many many many possibilities there too. Like the best order? There isn't one. Several delicious routes, some more difficult than others. Play onto Gantlos following Ogron to the ends of the world, Anagan already having been mentally done with the hunt for ages- Does modern day Ogron care deeply enough about the others to put their well being and safety above their goals? Or at least more so than early days/in his prime Ogron who CANNOT relate. Again, don't put Duman last though. Cornered animal core fr I'm so serious. Which is where my pLANS COME IN- jkjk

Out of all the things you've baked, which creation are you most proud of?

That list really isn’t terribly long, I don’t often have a chance to use the kitchen XD

But let’s see... I’m always happy when I make chocolate swirl bread, I’ve gotten pretty good at it and I’m proud of how it generally turns out really well. Ahh I’m trying to think of other stuff I’ve baked... well I didn’t technically bake this, but I made this herby potatoey stuff last summer that I can’t remember the name of, it turned out really tasty :D

Oh, and I didn’t make the cakes themselves, but I decorated both of these for my siblings :)

amecareth is a monsterfucker? context? <3

OH god the context for that one is a series of fantasy books written in french by Anne Robillard, Les Chevaliers d'Emeraude (the Knights of Emerald in english, the 12 book series has been translated in english (!!rare thing to have happen) and is available as ebooks on her website but I don't really recommend them).

I'm going to put a content warning here for rape even though I'm not going to go into graphic detail.

The Big Bad Evil Guy, Emperor Amecareth of the Tanieth, has a hobby called "raping non-Tanieth people to have hybrid kids and have them learn magic and have a gaggle of superpowered evil kids to take over the world".

I think the Tanieth are meant to be beetle-humanoids ? But their home was once compared to an anthill so they're just ant guys in my brain. Little funny ants who are super tall and will kill you.

The manner in which Amecareth is written is very "he's evil and he rapes people for shock value, with 0 care attached to those kinds of storylines", and rape is rarely a subject I enjoy writing about, so I was just... writing a fanfic where he really is just the Tanieth equivalent of a monsterfucker, and doesn't rape people. Also he's the Tanieth equivalent of a very lost 20 year old in that fic.

I think he could be an immensely interesting character while still being an evil imperialist motherfucker (literally) without the need to go "yeah he's a rapist to tell you he's evil in a Shock Anecdote !"

But that would just loop back to my general gripes with Anne Robillard's writing - I think there's often very little care or substance on whatever she's writing/implying at any given moment. Amecareth being a rapist could be a useful character bit in the hands of another writer. I don't want to write that, as I don't think I have the skill to do so currently, so I'm chucking it out in the waste bin.

Now, realizing that political alliances with all sorts of human and non-human people is SUPER USEFUL if you HAVE KIDS WITH THEM ? and THEN using these kids as a way to give more power to your evil empire ? THAT's what I want to write about, and that's pretty much what "Amecareth is a monsterfucker" is about, if we add onto that first love and getting his ass handed to him.

A brief summary of the fic would be :

"Amecareth gets thrown out of his home by his father the emperor of the Tanieth for being too ambitious for his own good, and is told to go invade a southern continent about it on his own if he's THAT smart. Once there, Amecareth begins studying the people living there, finds love, war, and death in rapid succession.

This is the story that led to Enkidiev's First War against the Tanieth."

Happy Witchcore Samantha Wednesday!

For those of you who are new here, this orginally stemmed from my obsession with Sam Winchester and Sastiel in the Supernatural fandom, and in an attempt to provide Sam a better life, created an AU with a transgender MtF witchcore Samantha, a genderfluid cottagecore beekeeper/gardener Cas, and non-binary toddler Jack

New audiences call for a slight change in direction, and while Samantha, Cas, Jack, and I are still available to answer questions about the family, Witchcore Samantha Wednesdays will now be focusing on making moodboards that fit the cottagecore and witchcore vibe. The night was really nice, the moon was out with stars above the beach. It seems like a prefect spot for anyone to come out and be happy. However, one couple was.

Near by a hidden opening of a cavern, a weak moan was heard with soft panting. Blade was thrusting up into his husband Chuya who was shaking while bouncing on top of him. He was expecting to them relaxing here on the beach but it turns into this.

"Ahhhh ahhhhh B..blade......haaa b..bla...mmmmm!!" He shook feeling his hips being moved but Blade was being gentle with him even under the beautiful night sky.

"Haaa Darling~ Darling is so beautiful like this. The moon light shines on you so nicely." he smiled even if Chuya blushed red. He didn't have his hat this time only wearing his swim trunks before that was on the side along with Blade's own.

"D..don't say hhaaa such embarrassing things d..dummy.." he shook when he feels Blade sit up and hugs him, giving soft kisses against his face.

"But it's true. Your so cute..so cute.. "he smiled even if Chuya was flushed red, his face coated in some sweat while he threw his head back moaning out as Blade kept thrusting into him. However, he held onto his husband, seeing the night sky and the sparkling stars above them. Honestly, it was beautiful out here.

Blade saw that he was kissing his neck now that he was even shaking more to lean Chuya's head to kiss him on the lips. He wanted to savor this feeling and showing the love knowing he was precious to him. Even if he was flushed to even kiss him back deeply. However, the two felt more closer that Chuya moans against his lips loving this feeling. His hands touching his chest that Chuya twitched.

"See? Even Darling loves it. Your shaking all over again feeling close?" he asked but even bit his shoulder making Chuya grip some of his hair while shaking.

"I..I don't know I never nugghh!! I'm trying n..not to.." He didn't want to cum yet but Blade didn't mind.

"I know but it's just us here. Please enjoy yourself..I want you to enjoy this moment between us..even in this place.." Chuya blushed even more hearing this that Blade kisses him to feel more dazed before they kept on going, loving one another. However, it was a pretty nice night.
