Found this post today, and together with my experience of narcissistic abuse it kinda clicked.
People say what this person wants to hear.
✨ But this is not enough. ✨
People should sit like this person wants. People should think like this person wants.
They always want to control everything. Just like my abuser did. This is why I was always been so bothered by the pronouns. Because it is nothing less but control over the way I speak and think.

Hi i classified all your insects for you :)
Lepidoptera: 56
Hymenoptera: 8
Coleoptera: 25
Megaloptera: 6
Ephemeroptera: 2
Diptera: 20
Trichoptera: 2
Dermaptera: 1
Hemiptera: 4
Neuroptera: 1
Mecoptera: 2
Arachnids: 2
I find this interesting because the amount of species, despite being ‘random’, is still biased towards butterflies and moths, despite beetles having about twice as many species. Do people speak too much like moths? Who knows.
Can I get a mantis someday I love mantids
i was going to say thank you for the headache but with enough neurodivergency in your head and enough love in your heart anything can be a joyous whimsical endeavor. godspeed soldier
#bugs#cyclosilicate#asks#one of the first things people noticed on this blog is that most of the results were of lepidopterans#but i had no idea we had 56 of them#extremely interesting. thank you for the insight#i salute you

Astro Observations – II
Mars in the 1st House People with Mars in their 1st house often struggle with anxiety or anger issues. They might even have a noticeable scar on their face. This placement can make them really energetic, but sometimes that energy comes out as irritation or restlessness.
Pluto in the 1st House Natives with Pluto in their 1st house usually go through intense transformations—both in their appearance and in their overall character. Think of someone who’s super religious for years and then suddenly becomes an atheist. They often have mesmerizing eyes, too, the kind that practically hypnotize people!
Mercury in the 2nd/3rd House If Mercury in 2nd doesn’t have many hard aspects, these folks usually have a beautiful speaking voice. If Mercury’s nicely aspected by Venus, they’re often great singers as well. Having a beautiful speaking voice is also connected to Mercury in 3rd house, since it's the house of communication. But the 3rd house is also tied to talents in writing, painting, handwriting, crafts, or even cooking—basically anything involving skillful hands. People with strong 3rd-house energy just know how to control their hands.
Mars–Venus Hard Aspects I’ve noticed that Mars–Venus hard aspects can sometimes show up in the charts of individuals who identify as homosexual. It’s not a strict rule, of course, but it’s an interesting pattern I’ve come across.
Venus–Pluto Conjunction A Venus–Pluto conjunction tends to create a really obsessive streak when it comes to romantic relationships—or it can attract obsessive partners. Sometimes it’s both! These individuals definitely know how to pull their partners back in, no matter how far they stray, lol.
Mars in the 7th House Mars in the 7th house can lead to frequent arguments with romantic partners. The nature of the fights often depends on the sign Mars is in. If it’s in Virgo or Gemini, expect more verbal spats. But if it’s in Aries, there’s a much higher chance of physical altercations—so watch out!
Saturn in or near the 10th House (or in hard aspect/conjunction to the 10th House Ruler)
This placement basically says: you’ve got to work or study harder than most to succeed in your career. You’ll likely shoulder more responsibility than the average person, and if you mess up, Saturn won’t cut you any slack. This can also point to workplace bullying or a tough work environment. Accept the challenge and do your absolute best—Saturn rewards persistence.
Saturn in the 2nd House Folks with Saturn in the 2nd house can have a bit of an inferiority complex, putting extra emphasis on material things for security-especially food. They might have some eating disorders as well. They need to learn self-love first; once that’s in place, they’ll feel more confident navigating the material side of life.
Saturn in the 12th House People with Saturn in the 12th house often struggle with various phobias because of deep-seated, subconscious fears. This effect doubles if Saturn is in a hard aspect to the ruler of the 12th house. It’s like a cosmic nudge to do some serious inner work.
Pluto in the 8th/6th House Those with Pluto in the 8th house can carry heavy traumas, fears, or secrets related to sex, the occult, or death. If Pluto sits in the 6th house instead, it could bring traumas, fears, secrets or issues related to work environment, colleagues, health, or daily routines. In some charts, if Pluto is heavily afflicted and everything else supports it, there’s even a possibility of OCD.
Hope these insights spark your curiosity! Remember that every chart is unique, so always look at the bigger picture before jumping to conclusions. See you in my next post!

Astro observations
☯︎ People with Saturn ruling their 3rd, 7th, and 11th houses could experience someone else trying to control their communication or ways of expressing themselves. It might feel like you need to break free from power and social structures that are preventing you from being who you fully are
☯︎ Lunar dominant women and Saturn dominant men are one of the best couple pairings. It reminds me of sailor moon and tuxedo mask man.
☯︎ Venus sextile Jupiter and Venus-Jupiter conjunction represents wife coming from a religious/spiritual family
☯︎ 9H placements are likely to be born into religious or scholarly families who value laws and institutions a lot
☯︎ 8H synastry can represent a deep level of intimacy and trust. It can also represent knowing each other’s shadow self and sharing each other’s secrets
☯︎ Having a 9H Saturn can represent a strict father or it can signal a father who has different religious and philosophical beliefs
☯︎ Virgo risings can deal with a lot of anxiety and stomach issues. They might struggle with self-criticism when it comes to their personality and expressing themselves to others
☯︎ Virgo moons are also prone to anxiety, stomach issues, and perfectionism. They can also struggle with self-criticism, especially pertaining to their emotions
☯︎ Having a malefic planet in your 12H (mars, Saturn, Ketu, or Rahu) can negatively impact your sleep and make it hard for you to fall or stay asleep, or you could have nightmares
☯︎ People with mars in the 9th house are likely to have a daddy kink, while those with mars in the 4th house are likely to have a mommy kink.
☯︎ People with Venus in the 4th house might like to be the mommy and those with Venus in the 9th house or in Capricorn, Aries, or Sagittarius might prefer to be the daddy

i've just pulled out some interesting quotes from the metal hammer article for myself and anyone else interested. anything bolded for emphasis by me.
-
George Lever [Sleep Token producer 2016-2021]: The starting point was removing this idea of the music you listen to being related to the person making it. By being anonymous, the listener is forced to relate to what they're actually hearing.
-
James Monteith [Tesseract guitarist/publicist at Hold Tight PR]: I was approached by Tom Quigley, who was a scene regular and ran a few blogs at the time. He said he was working with this new band, would we maybe be interested in doing their press? We ended up talking for an hour, and he rolled out the whole concept, the imagery and everything about it... other than the music.
George: The lore/narrative was pretty loose still, but it definitely existed.
James: There was nothing specific as such, more this idea of creating an occult vibe and feeling, led by this prophet-like character who leads a religion.
-
George: A lot of the first EP was actually us trying stuff out. We recorded the drums on a whim at Monnow Valley Studio in Wales. I introduced him to one of my friends, who actually still drums in them now.
-
James: We always got requests [for interviews], but the band said from the start they were anonymous and wouldn't do them. It helped create more curiosity because nobody could get access to them.
Matt Benton [Metal Hammer writer]: You can't do an introductory piece without an interview. We managed to get an agreement for an email interview with Metal Hammer. Even then, the band knew they didn't want a voice.
Matt: It's one of only a few interviews they've ever done. It's something I'm glad exists, because it's like getting the Word Of God.
-
George: I had freedom to offer interpretations of what I was hearing. It was a very fortunate combination of personalities and ideals. There was never any, 'We're going to take over the world' -type chat. It was more, 'Do we like this? Let's do more of that.'
-
Nathan Barley Phillips [co-founder of Basick Records]: Trying to keep some sense of anonymity was a real mission. Particularly getting them to and from the stage [at Great Escape festival 2018] without anyone seeing who they were.
-
George: We did Sundowning in three months - we went from demo to final master being released in just 12 weeks. We didn't have days off; we'd do seven in the morning until seven, eight or even nine at night every day for three months. We were in each other's pockets; we'd go to the gym together, swim, do the sauna... All this stuff to recover from being sat down all the time. There was a lot of time to spend holistically being friends making this record. We didn't know how to make this thing, but we had a confidence that we'd get there in the end. That's my favourite three-month period of my life.
-
George: We started making [TPWBYT] and the first day was when lockdowns began. Tomb... was tough for all of us emotionally. There were lifestyle pressures as a result of the lockdown that made it not very conducive to making art that is supposed to be welcoming. A lot of those songs are, in one way or another, about love, love being lost or remorse, they are compassionate tales that are designed to bring the listener towards the artist. It's hard to do that when it feels like the world is going to end.
-
Matt: I've got friends in merchandising and they say Sleep Token shift more merch than any other UK heavy band - more than even Iron Maiden.
-
Nathan: Bands like Ghost and Sleep Token aren't successful because they wear masks. They're successful because they write great music. Masks don't mean anything if the music isn't any good.
Matt: I'll be interested to see, when the first official TV movie of the band gets made, the difference between the reality of what happened and the story that gets told. In a way, the myth becomes reality.
#sleep token#george lever#sleep token vessel#metal hammer#i wanted these quotes on my blog so hope this is interesting for others too!#i loooove a tidbit!#some v cool insights in here#biggest takeaways...#george introduced ves and ii??? SATURN IN ARIES IS HERE SOON!
On 24th May , Saturn moves into Aries and for a lot of us (including myself) we will be having our Saturn Return. This is a significant astrological event that will shape themes of self-discipline, courage, identify, and autonomy.
Saturn will return back into Pisces on the 1st September to 13 February 2026, then stay in Aries until 2028. This Saturn Return is important for those born between 1996-1999 (and 1967-1969_ when Saturn was last in Aries.
For the past month, I have been conducting research on how Saturn's return will impact individuals (including myself). This includes an brief breakdown of how each rising sign will experience Saturn's return through house placements.

Saturn in Aries rewards bold discipline and taking initiatives. It's all about mastering your impulses and stepping into your power without being reckless.

So good luck to all my fellow Saturn in Aries people - take a deep breath, be patient, relax - you've got this! 🌟

Points that might help you to read Tarot as a Beginner (written from the personal experiences)
Tip from personal experience- Before reading the meanings behind the cards, tap into your intuition and listen to what it tells you. You can always interpret your cards even if they don't match the traditional meanings. Make a bond with your decks, it will help you to have a more smooth Tarot journey. Always thank the cards and the Guides/Spirit Team/The Universe after you are done reading. Try to cover your head while doing the readings to prevent any additional info from downloading into your Crown Chakra.

1. Focus- I cannot stress enough about the focus part while reading Tarot cards. When you are focused, you are more likely to be able to interpret the symbols on the cards accurately and intuitively easily without stressing yourself. This is because your mind is not distracted by other thoughts or worries, allowing you to connect with the deeper meaning of the cards. Plus it'll give you more clarity to listen to your intuition while you are preparing for a reading or asking cards any questions.
2. Know the meaning or Basic traditional meanings of the Tarot Cards- For this, I would suggest you start with the traditional Rider-Waite Tarot deck. While we are free to interpret the cards as we like it is also important to know the basic meanings of each card. For example: The Death card does not talk necessarily about the literal death but the transformation. To me, it looks like someone is leaving their past behind and moving on to their next phase whilst going through major transformations.
3. Practice- Practising is also a very important part of learning how to read Tarot cards. I know that sometimes it's very overwhelming to memorize it and do it again and again but practice as much as you want. It will not only help you to build confidence but also will strengthen your ability to read them easily with the help of your intuition. For starters, you can draw one daily card to reflect on its meaning. I did for a few days and wrote whatever meanings came through and later, I matched it with a few of the traditional meanings.
4. Shuffling, Cleansening, and asking your Spirit Guides- Shuffling isn't about just randomly putting Tarot cards, it's more than that. It's a kind of process that helps you to focus more on the meanings again. It will help the reader's energy to get mixed up with the Cards or Decks. Tarot cards absorb energy, I think we all know that. I didn't even let other people touch my decks for 1 year because I was scared that it would mess up my decks because I wasn't aware of the cleansing methods. You don't have to cleanse it after every read, its totally up to you ngl. If you feel, you can do it but it's not mandatory. For cleansing, you can either use smoke of herbs or sage. Some people use crystals as they place them on the top of their decks and some prefer the Full Moon night to cleanse their decks. I use the sage method because it's more convenient for me. Now, Spirit Guides- they are basically our guides in the form of Spirits that help us with their guidance and support. Every being has one spirit guide or a Spirit team assigned to them. You can connect to them through meditation or using your intuition. (It's a deep topic so maybe I'll make another post about it).
5. Do not read when you are tired- Reading Tarot cards while being tired can mess with your energy as well as your ability to concentrate to read the cards with the help of your intuition. Plus, it can even mess with your intuition and cloud it. There is also an increased risk of a negative or pessimistic outlook on the questions you are asking. For me, giving respect to the cards, I don't read them when I am feeling blue.
PS- These are from my personal experience. If you have any other variants, you are more than welcome to add them here. I will keep adding more in the future.
Thank you
Infinity ❤️

Pretty much
Q. I am a little surprised by the amount of people disappointed in the episode. It was a good episode but everyone keeps basically saying it was a great episode BUT. And I honestly am a little surprised by that for some reason.
A. It was a good episode. But it was very noticeable that Eddie wasn't there. And I think that is a new consequence for the show. What I mean by that is that FOX kept Ryan very muzzled. They didn't let him speak. They didn't promote the show. They didn't really do anything other than tell people what they weren't going to do. ABC has been the complete opposite. They have put Ryan specifically front and center for most of their promotional campaign for the show. Their PR campaign has been pushing the Buddie idea. And Ryan has been the face of that this entire season. There are lots of new viewers brought in specifically by this campaign. And the show is going to have to adjust to that new reality. I don't like that the episode is being review bombed because it was a good episode, but the reality of the show's situation now is different. This audience is not here for the Bobby diaries. I love Bobby Nash, but I'm tired of watching Bobby 'die' multiple times a season. I'm tired of watching Maddie cry every other episode. It's overdone. It's way overdone. And I know that the Eddie haters are stunned this morning because what we learned from last night is the audience wants to see Eddie. It's not open for discussion or up for debate. It is the singular complaint about the episode. I get why he wasn't in the episode. But he should have been. I do think we were supposed to feel and notice his absence though so that works in their favor. But putting him continuously on the back burner is not going to work going forward. We've seen the proof. The audience did not like that he wasn't there. And I would imagine that everyone, including Ryan, is probably a little surprised by that this morning. I love that for him. He has been tragically underused and they must correct that.
This is going to be difficult for some people, but the show is being consumed differently now. ABC changed the game. They made a strategic plan and it worked, it brought in a bigger audience, resulting in more fanfare, more media attention and higher engagement. But it has also resulted in a particular audience expectation. They're here for the storyline ABC and the show has been teasing. I didn't expect to see it happen as quickly as it has happened but this is the reality now. Last night is proof. What was confirmed last night is that Tim is all out of later. I'm stunned by the reaction to this episode. I'm not going to lie. I did not expect this level of annoyance that he wasn't there. This was a good episode and all anyone is talking about is the fact that Eddie was not there. There will be people who say that's just a fandom complaint and the 'real' audience was fine that he wasn't there but based on what we're seeing this morning this is not just a fandom temper tantrum. Yes the review bombing can be blamed on fandom (seriously knock that shit off it's childish and gross). And whether certain people want to accept the reality or not the reality is that fandom members make up the bulk of this shows audience. That's the reality they are in now. It happens when a show has been running this long. Your audience gets invested in particular ideas and they expect to see those ideas played out. ABC built their entire PR campaign around one very particular story idea. And while people need to understand that it won't and shouldn't be a part of every single episode the days of being able to stick Eddie in the background as a set decoration are gone. And if I'm being honest ABC knew what they were sitting on and it was smart business to frame their marketing around them. But the natural consequence of that choice is the expectation of storylines. That should come as no surprise to anyone involved. Because I promise that no matter what either one of them says publicly they know their value to this show and the show has to catch up to that value now. That's the business side of this strategy.
Thank you Nonny! 🤗
I agree with Ali here. I talked about some of this at length in other posts, so I'm not going to deep dive into it again. Besides, Ali can explain it so much better than me. 😂
Heads up! For anyone who is giving me the shifty eyes for reposting Ali's updates instead of reblogging. Read this.

There is one thing I feel I need to acknowledge, mostly in front of myself.
It doesn't matter how much of a die hard I am. It doesn't matter how sincere I am when I say I can't be touched by TRAs delulu nonsense.
There is one thing that hurts. It is "kiII a terf".
The highest form of hatred, the ultimate form of violence, this call for murder a human being — for what? For being disagree???
I fucking know that these men mean it when they say it. And I know that they know that it hurts.
I think this is my answer to the question I've been asking myself for so long: "why can't you just move on?" There was a lot of things on which I was disagree with the mainstream narrative. My childhood happened on the era of heroin chic, and I was normal — fat by those standarts — but never was hated for that so much. Nobody could yell "kill a fat" and be widely supported for this. Nobody could go to goverment and lobby the idea that eating over 2000 kcal per day is a hate crime.
I don't know, maybe it was this way because men's fetishes were not involved.

Our society tends to view personal strength and the ability to repress one’s emotions as one in the same. We receive messages every day that say that the more we focus on holding in the raw and “animalistic” parts of ourselves, the stronger we are. We view vulnerability as a weakness and go to great lengths to avoid it so that we may remain comfortable. The tarot’s Strength card, however, tells us that true strength comes from vulnerability and the ability to face our subconscious, or what some may call our shadow selves or our id, with acceptance and serenity. If we feel shame about unconscious selves, our feelings, and our impulses, we will never be able to demonstrate true strength of character. The Strength card encourages us to release our emotions, fears, and insecurities with a grace that can only come from true self-love and acceptance.

I just vented out a whole rant about how aromantisim is treated within Hazbin/helluva. I'm not really sure if I should post it for multiple reasons, one of which being I don't want anyone to feel targeted about it or take it the wrong way (like I honestly dont have beef with Al shippers. Gripes, but no beef as I also ship him on occasion).
There was just a sudden burst of frustration I had with it that I think was in part just came from built up frustration from other things. There's things I'd like to have out there, but I don't really think it'd get far or, again, be just taken the wrong way. I don't see a point in posting if people are gonna ignore it, plus it wouldn't change how things are now. If anyone has any thoughts or are curious let me know, but I don't wanna make anyone feel like shit or put a pointless rant out there no one wanted to see. I also wanna keep rants to a minimum as I know people aren't always into that sort of stuff, especially if you don't follow someone for that and you just get an influx of posts of them complaining. And I still want to keep things relatively light hearted around here, at best maybe just some critiques on things here and there.
It's late, I'm on my phone when I should probably just sleep it off, so sleep it off I will.
#i don't know if I wanna tag any ships#I guess I'm just exhausted with a lot of things#I'd love for shippers to read it to get a bit more insight on the topi c#not to stop them from shipping ofc they can have all the fun with it.#The shipping itself has never been the problem for me.#And lately I don’t even think it's the shippers themselves that I take issue with as much anymore#maybe A part I don’t like how aromatisim is swept under the rug#may I reiterate my “how would it feel if the top ships had Angel only in straght ships” example#But I think it's more how the official media and people are with it.#Viv's statement potentially implying “confirming Alastor as aro would ruin peoples fun” isnt cool#makes it seem like being aro is bad#especially since every other character's orientations were confirmed despite them being irrelevant to the plot#I know thats not what she was trying to imply#but it Unforutnately reads that way#and people who aren't comfy with others shipping him are read as uncool I guess#^i like to think thats the loud minority of shippers talking but idk#might delete later#don't need this clogging up the blog or people's dash#rant#aro alastor#hazbin hotel shipping#hazbin ships#hazbin hotel ship#hazbin hotel#hazbin hotel critical#vivziepop criticism#vivziepop critical#vivziepop#hazbin hotel criticism#aroace alastor
