Evermore-Fashion: Women of Marvel
Ororo Munroe is a powerful mutant with weather-manipulating abilities, also known as the infamous and influential hero Storm. She is also the descendant of an ancient line of African priestesses, all of whom have white hair, blue eyes, and the potential to wield magic. After becoming an orphan Ororo became a sneak-thief on the streets of Cairo under the tutelage of Achmed El Gibár, who provided her a home. As a teenager, she felt the urge to travel to the south, arriving at the Serengeti plains. Venerated by the locals as a goddess, Ororo used her abilities to ease the droughts in the arid desert. Eventually she was approached by Professor Xavier to join his X-Men, a mutant group aimed at implementing peace between humans and mutants.

Hi Tumblr I'm an Asian fantasy author fleeing the sudden death of all my other social media sites 👋 I've used Tumblr for years as a fandom lurker and rarely posted but in light of all my other communities imploding I guess I'll have to figure out how to be actually active on Tumblr and find bookish and writerly folks here 💜 say hi if that's you 🥺
If you love diverse filipino fantasy with bipoc leads, angry bi women clawing for space in a world that's always rejected them and soft boys who'd do anything for them, awesome elemental magic based on early Filipino shaman/ babaylan/katalonan mythologies and the Tagalog creation story, and the Bakunawa/Laho the 🇵🇭 sea dragon 🐉 and drowning colonizers then I hope you'll keep an eye out for SAINTS OF STORM AND SORROW coming in June 2024 from Titan Books

Evermore-Fashion: Women of Marvel
Dr. Susan "Sue" Richards (née Storm), a.k.a the Invisible Woman, is an American super-powered adventurer. She was a college student before she was exposed to high levels of cosmic radiation when boyfriend and scientist, Dr. Reed Richards, took her with her younger brother, Johnny Storm and pilot Ben Grimm, into space in the stolen rocket Marvel-1. The radiation mutated her and her friends, turning her invisible and allowing her to create forcefields. Together they became the Fantastic Four, a team of adventurers who explored space, time, and alternate dimensions and saved the world along the way from science-based threats.
