More "defective Vinsmoke bros".
They're still weird even in Off mode, they're just... well, less grouchy.
In my opinion even in the original they actually can have emotions like love and stuff (analysis here if you want to read), they're just for some reason weirdly irritable at Sanji for being different. So in this AU, when they're in off mode they just don't get angry and more like "I don't care", so they treat him nicer.
They still can't feel sympathy, though, so the bandages and treatment still has to be done by Reiju.
Also I was debating if they would still call Sanji "failure" or not, because the actual word for it was "defective product" in the Japanese raw. It would be sort of ironic hypocrisy, especially if they don't know they're also defective, but I decided they don't do that.

Marvel Multiverse TTRPG
The Marvel Multiverse TTRPG is genuinely well designed and I am confounded.
Previously, I'd read Marvel Universe TTRPG (which is a completely different system written in the 90s) and was caught off guard by how clever *it* was. In it, you assign power gems almost like a worker placement minigame to pass checks, prioritizing effect vs safety.
Marvel Multiverse TTRPG is a totally different system by a totally different team, and now I have to confront the reality that there are at least two very elegantly designed and unfortunately Disney-owned Marvel TTRPGs.
So, what makes Marvel Multiverse work? Well, it starts with a bad idea.
Marvel Multiverse runs on a d616. This sounds *awful* but it's the best bit of tech I've ever seen in a game with this high a budget.
First, that 616 is actually 3d6. You roll and add up, and mathematically this gives you more average outputs. Also the "1" crits on a 1, and its 1s count as 6s. So it's basically an extra strong d6 that hands you crits 1/6th of the time.
If you crit but miss the target number you botch instead, but Multiverse's advantage/disadvantage system gives you the option of rerolling individual d6s. So you can try to hit the TN, or you can crit fish.
Also, that "1" tells you your attack damage. It's used as part of a formula that also factors in your stats and optionally weapon. No need for a second damage roll. You get a really high density of information out of a single pass through the 3d6.
Now, Marvel Multiverse is still a very traditional style TTRPG. You can hop from DnD to this and barely notice the change in scenery---it's just the dice are cleaner, faster, and more predictable. You're still moving around in 5 foot squares, using your suite of character-specific powers, swinging at and sometimes missing a rat.
But those rat-misses happen a fair bit less, and your special abilities all come from one big mana bar called Focus, and you can intentionally spam your powers until it puts you in a stupor.
Basically, I'd recommend this system to three people:
-It's Marvel Give Me Marvel
-I Want To Play Modern AU Superhero DnD
-Fellow Sleek Core Mechanics Enthusiast, This Core Mechanic Is Sleek AF
If those people are you, you may want to give it a look.

Dragon Age Fic Recs
In honor of the Just Leave a Comment Fest, and with no particular theme, here are a few of my favorite Dragon Age Fics:
(If you wrote one of these fics and want me to tag your blog, please let me know and I'm happy to do so!)
**Always check the tags before jumping in; this list is no exception.**
Origins:
be my mirror by ella_vellan: (T; 5,798) Alistair & Morrigan. Alistair meets Kieran for the first time in Orlais. The dialogue in this feels so well-paced and authentic, and it really navigates a fraught situation with grace. One of those fics that feels bittersweet in the most cathartic way.
a gentle, beating heart by rynleaf: (M; 5,115 Words) Warden/Zevran. The Warden finds out she is pregnant sometime after Origins and puts off telling Zevran. The epistolary pieces of this frame the underlying story so well, and the flow of the fic itself is extremely well-paced.
A Man’s Word is His Bond by howlsmovinglibrary: (M; 35,135 Words/9 chapters) Zevran/Warden Soulmate AU. Honestly? This Surana cracks me up and I adore this fic. She is just having absolutely none of his nonsense. No thank you. Also, the implications of a soulmate-identifying mark are really well-explored here.
Dragon Age II:
see me bare my teeth for you by calypsid: (T; 2,978 Words) Fenris/Hawke vampire AU. This one has really good pacing and Fenris’s POV is really effective. Would absolutely read way more about the dynamic between this Hawke and Fenris.
to hold you by the edges by vesperics: (T; 4,059 Words) Fenris/Hawke wound-tending set sometime in Act 1. I am a sucker for wound-tending anything, but I really enjoyed the way this fic explores Hawke and Fenris’s early dynamic and the way she navigates his boundaries about magical healing.
River Stone by loquaciousquark: (M; 45,633 Words) Fenris/Hawke. Hawke is captured and subjected to a botched Rite of Tranquility. Hawke survives by pretending it worked while Fenris tries to find her. The pain in this fic is so delicately and thoughtfully depicted; it might be my favorite hurt/comfort fic ever. There is an art to writing something that hurts like this while still making the catharsis of resolution feel earned, and this author absolutely knows how to do it right.
Inquisition:
Portrait of a Man by Dulcidyne: (T; 3,136 Words) Cullen/Inquisitor. Cullen sits for a portrait. Love the dynamic of person vs. role here, and the idea of how someone is depicted potentially outliving who they actually are. A fic I would hug if I could.
Truth-Telling by todisturbtheuniverse: (M; 3,988 Words; CW: Fantasy Racism) Adaar/Josephine. Adaar tells several stories about how she lost her horn, but saves the truth for Josie. There are so many great pieces in this about the faces shown to people we trust vs. people who pry for information. Love the almost-but-not-quite together state of their relationship here, too. Yearning, my beloved.
Port in the Storm by kvella: (E; 89,445 Words/19 Chapters) After nearly hooking up, Cullen and Josephine navigate their tensions while trying to build a memorial for Haven. A lovely slow burn! Characterization is enjoyable and consistent, smut is well-written, and the tension is palpable. The sections involving Josie’s family were some of my favorites.

TransPanda OC Tournament Round 2
Tumblr media
The rules of the tournament
Brief introduction to "Thank You For Existing"
CHARACTER BIOS BELOW
(This post was remade due to a scheduling error on Tumblr's part)
Crystal
Tumblr media
“Apparently I gave you [Princess Gumdrop] a 0/10 for, quote: 'Botching laser eye surgery in a way I didn’t think was even possible', please don’t tell me that’s why I’m stuck as a vampire now.”
Crystal was initially shocked that her crush, Yuni, had turned into her best friend’s twin. She knew her complicated feelings had only one solution: Lock them in a box and never let them see the light of day again. She supports “him” for years, but her suppression reaches critical when Yuni’s psychic therapy sends ripples through spacetime, causing an AU Crystal to overlap with her existence. Now a tall vampire, if Crystal suppresses it she can temporarily revert back. Can she permanently fix her condition before everyone else finds out, or will an inky imposter take advantage of her absences…? Crystal is the main character of TYFE part 5: Identity Fraud.
Primary Inspiration: Marceline from Adventure Time
Plural or Plural Adjacent?: Adjacent (Singlet with two bodies)
Art of Crystal's human form by: Sunnyside_Cakes and Art of Crystal's vampire form by: ragingwoodcock
Wheat Doe
Tumblr media
“It’s MY life, and no one can take that away from me!”
In a dingy, monster infested dungeon, a trap was sprung on the destined hero of the land, Wheat Doe. Mira Cooper, the Lord of Evil’s right hand woman, used her enchanted copper mirror to foil the hero. Morphing her body to mimic Wheat in body, mind, and soul, Mira separates Wheat from her party and takes her place. This Reflected Wheat, unaware she’s a fake, faces many challenges connected to her mimic existence. Even as the copper reflection oxides and grows patches of mold-like green, this Wheat Doe is ready to fight tooth and nail to prove she’s just as real. Reflected Wheat Doe is the main character of TYFE side story: Molded Reflection.
Primary Inspiration: Luna / Asuna Kagurazaka from Mahou Sensei Negima!
Plural or Plural Adjacent?: Plural (Magically induced)
Art of Wheat Doe by: ragingwoodcock

I’m doing a rewrite myself, and I’m not sure what should be changed. I switched out medicine cat with mender, but I’m not sure about switching from Bluestar to Star Bluefur, having kits being given their full names at birth, and changing ThunderClan to ThunderClowder. I haven’t really been able to find that many statements about what to do about rewrites, so I’m not sure what to do.
I feel this a lot anon truly so I’ll try to explain and help out a bit BUT i would like it to very clearly be known I am white. White as white bread. While I do have some indigenous blood from my great grandmother I have never ever practiced her culture or been a part of it. If I get anything wrong I would absolutely love someone to step in and point it out!!!
Medicine Cats
The issue with this was most clearly pointed out in this doc and I think changing it is always good. Mender/Medic/Healer/Cleric/Doctor whatever you change it with is great 👍
(Personally I always choose a term depending on if the healers have a more spiritual role or if they are strictly healers! Just scouring thesaurus or wordhippo is awesome for finding the right word)
Bluestar vs Star Bluefur
This is another one that is a bit more touchy from what I’ve seen. Me personally and for a few others I think putting Star or some other leader term before is better bc it keeps not only the cats name but also makes it harder for repeat names.
From what I’ve seen from naming in warrior cats the issue comes mostly from the other clearly botched stereotypes in the series. And a few odder names in the books *cough cough* Blackfoot-
I believe that two part names are alright if the other issues are handled tho I may be wrong! I’d always recommend testing out different names but I understand how they don’t feel like they fit it.
I know in some other rewrites/au’s have taken away the paw and kit from cats and just given them a base name until their ceremony. I think this is a wonderful way to do it! My best answer would do more research into it and find what’s more comfortable to you and making sure not to do something worse than what the writers have already done
Clans
This one I’m less sure of to be completely honest. I haven’t seen too much issue with the term clan being used but I could understand if there was. Maybe do more research into that just as I’ll be doing today.
Personally I enjoy using other words as clan as a term refers to family more so then a community. Like in BTB they are called coteries instead as that is a group of individuals living together through their shared beliefs or cultures. More so a community then a family if that makes sense?

Small Vent cause stressed ahhhh
Lowkey think people take games, anime, books, movies, shows and just fandoms in general waaaay too seriously.
Like yes I get it, it can suck when a character to adore gets misrepresented by others. But they are just fictional characters at the end of the day. Maybe I'm just mostly saying this to myself to remind myself that it's okay that someone doesn't see a character like how I do. Because I'm deadass in multiple fandoms where we really just go but wild with our own versions of the characters. Like I'm in the Warrior cats AND the My hero academia fandom... And both of them are known for taking the canon and wiping their buts with it and or ignoring older material. Because well it just happens.
At first I use to get upset about it like how the warrior fandom made Bramblestar out to be this abusive monster without acknowledging the archs before hand and how in My hero academia doing.... Literally anything lmao(I love y'all though... Half of you anyway)
But seriously I just started to realize that the fandoms I'm in aren't My fandoms like I don't own them and I don't own the source material or the IP or whatever. And sometimes you never know why someone images certain characters they way they do. Whether it's for comfort or they think it's funny or they find it attractive or just to annoy people or literally just whatever.
But I always gotta remind myself that hey... THE BITCHES AIN'T REAL LMAO. Why get pressed about how other people illustrate characters. Like seriously I had to sit myself down like I was my own parent and ask myself why do I care about a fictional character being written out of character or drawn with a different design. And I really was just like... Damn yeah why do I care? These artists/writers are having fun and that's what it means to be in a fandom to just have fun.
The only time when I do get serious is when people try to harass others for characters they like because of how they see them vs canon.
Example: I saw this young artist get a bunch of hate comments under a drawing of Bramblestar/Brambleclaw because a massive part of the fandom claimed he was an abuser. Happened again with someone draw Crowfeather x Leafpool fan art because of how seriously people took Leafpool x Mothwing
AND DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED WITH MHA! They harasses the creator of the show sooooo many times in the past and current because of ships :T SHIPS YALL. Like I understand how frustrating it can be to see the show not end up how you wanted it to or not see too characters make out or whateva but God damn... They are fictional characters chill and just enjoy what we have or hell make what you wanted to happen. I literally do it all the time on my other page @purplestaruwu
Hell I'm still upset about how many characters were botched (in my eyes) in warriors, MHA, Naruto, bleach, marvel, DC etc.
But I think the fun in the fandom is making the what it's and creating our own versions of he characters and sharing it with others who feel the same or who just want to enjoy seeing the characters being draw in different designs, Au's, etc
I use to be so stuck up about everything being close to canon... But then I was just like "You know what it's not hurting anyone, you do whatever" and after that I feel like I became more relaxed being in fandoms... At least I try to be sometimes I do slip up but I stopped commenting on peoples different pov or au's or whatever unless I was gonna say something nice like complimenting the art or the writing or how good the plot of the story was.
It just got easier to just enjoy things and to just well not be so aggressive on the internet and not be online so much.
Cause whenever I get made about seeing a fictional character drawn in a way I don't like and I feel the need to say something... I just be like "yeaaah it's time to take a break for the day I think I've been online for too long"
This also goes for real things that happen online too lmao I just learned to take breaks and breath and remind myself that the online world is just that... The online world... And fandoms are just that fandoms...
I'm venting right now because I'm stressed out or more than likely I stressed myself out with because of online crap. And I just wanted to kind of put this here for me and for anyone else who kind of needs that reminder than you don't need to be online so much and you don't need to protect fictional characters or shows or movies or games or whatever it's not worth hurting someone's feelings because that.
But yeah that's all I think. Have a nice day and go drink some water c:

Blue Sky AU: Since All Might didn't fight the Nomu and sent it flying, did Kurogiri managed to escape with it?
It would depend on how the fight itself went. With no Shigaraki and the Noumu not attacking, it would be Kurogiri vs Everyone Else. If the fight goes badly enough he might be forced to warp himself out without retrieving the Noumu. That being said, it's far more likely that Kurogiri would cut his losses and leave with the Noumu the moment it's clear the operation is botched.

One of the AU characters backstory that I've developed a lot! And yes that's the Levi cup hold hJAHJA
LORE
Raven Senior is one of the characters in Harpy vs Poachers, serving as the series' antagonist (anti-hero). He is one of the Sentinels of Avesian Harpies, he desires to be the lead of the sentinels, however, he was counted out due to his initial inability. He envies any harpies that are more powerful or strategic than him. He was a teacher also known as a Mentor, but he chose to train Joe to be better than the other harpies.
In this AU, Q Maou is known as the creator of the Harpies, and he is able to grant their wishes if they made a mortal sacrifice. After he got his wish come true from the Demon King, he enjoys destruction, making his enemies suffer before he executes them. He became more egotistical, arrogant and full of pride, eventually forgetting who he is fighting for.
He wears sunglasses because his eyes are sensitive towards the sunlight. It'll increase his fatigue and drains his energy easily.
Tumblr media
PERSONALITY
Raven Senior is arrogant and condescending, including towards his own kind. He was often be seen as rather manipulative, using the fact that he's Peregrine Samurai's friend to get what he wants. He is deeply insecure, due to him being called a "botched pawn" in the past, and reacts furiously to those who called him that. Some harpies calls him a crow as a reference that no one wants to listen to him. In his bird form, he is able to imitate anyone's voice and use it to confuse his target.
Tumblr media
I might have to update his reference again because some of the parts looks lazy kjadshksd I haven't created a neat reference for Dove Joe or his other form I planned, hopefully it will be up soon!

Ok extended crash butler stip au notes under da cut bc I am cringe but I am free
Mostly origin of the butler stip match and what essentially boils down to “crash has a very bad time” lol
- The match that Roman acquired Crash in was a Bloodline Rules/No DQ match between Crash & Solo Sikoa— the climax of a Neo-Evolution vs Bloodline faction feud. What’s notable about the match is that while the Bloodline were present and actively there to help Solo, Randy Orton & the other members of Neo-Evolution were completely absent from ringside, and failed to show up before Crash was pinned due to “transportation troubles,” according to Orton. Put a pin in that.
- At this time, Crash was performing as “the Lock” and wore a mask on the lower half of his face. I’d consider this as the biggest divergence point from the WWE 2K23 version of Crash’s story. In the game, this is the lynchpin that leads to the Lock getting fired from WWE and going on a journey of self-discovery on the indies. In this more kayfabe-adhering version of the story, Crash doesn’t get fired for acting out, and is instead bound to serve the Bloodline because of the contract.
- The fact that there was even a contract over this match was never explained to Crash beforehand. All he knew was that if he lost, Randy was threatening to kick him out of Neo-Evolution & promising to put Crash’s career on ice with WWE higher ups.
- It’s notable that prior to this showdown, Crash was on a 4 match losing streak. He’d challenged Gunther for the IC title and got his ass beat so bad it threw him off of his rhythm.
- The rhythm loss could be partially attributed to Neo-Evolution shunning him HARD for his loss. Sure, Crash had been a little cocky in insisting he’d be able to take the belt off Gunther, but he wanted to make Randy proud! He wanted to manifest it!
- ironically. The Gunther match was the beginning of “The Lock Poor Little Meow Meow-ification Era.” Turns out the tumblr girlies just really like watching him bleed and get the shit beaten out of him. And they are willing to dedicate time to giffing stuff like this. Crash is enchanted by this notion.
- Anyways. The No DQ Match. This was Crash’s chance to redeem himself. Lol. Lmao, even.
- He failed, although only after a full hour of getting his shit absolutely ROCKED by Solo. Crash could have tapped at any time and ended the beatdown Solo was delivering, but kept getting back up and kicking out. Solo only managed to pin Crash after repeatedly making him bleed and then botching a move that led to Crash injuring his ankle. FWIW, Solo would later apologize to Crash for the ankle injury and would be told by Crash that it wasn’t his fault.
- The bloodline had been present but hadn’t intervened until Crash sustained the ankle injury. Roman was the first to notice something was wrong— specifically, he realized it because Crash wasn’t getting back up.
- Roman and Solo had studied what they could find of Crash’s / The Lock’s tapes beforehand. While it wasn’t much, a running theme did seem to be a high pain tolerance and a refusal to stop fighting right up until the very end. This was made pretty evident in the fucking straight up hour it took Solo to finally wear Crash down
- So Crash is family guy death posed on the ring mat. Absolutely covered in his own blood. Solo is standing over him. Roman is climbing into the ring to check and make sure Crash isn’t concussed or seriously hurt. Guess who finally fucking decides to show up
- Randy Orton finally arrives with the rest of Neo-Evolution, fucking Triple H, and Crash’s gear bag thrown over his shoulder. Orton finally reveals he was late not because of vehicle issues like he claimed, but had deliberately hung back and refused to come help even when things got dire.
- Randy is given a mic and proceeds to inform “The Lock” that his loss to Solo officially puts him over the limit for “tolerated losses” within Neo-Evolution. Randy also reveals the contract that he and Roman signed before the match— if Crash won, N-Evo would have gotten Solo as a butler. If Solo won, then the Bloodline got “the Lock” as a butler.
- and. Well. Solo won.
- Crash tries to scramble to his feet and protest, but pain shoots up his ankle when he tries to put weight on it and he ends up collapsing about 2/3rds of the way to the mat before Solo and Roman catch him and haul him back up.
- Roman is heavily supporting Crash’s weight so he can remain standing. Crash takes note of this, somewhere in the back of his mind.
- anyways. Crash can’t really hold the mic up to his face, so Solo holds it for him.
- Crash is expected to cut a promo, but his head is fuzzy and his ankle is burning, and he knows there’s no energy left in him for a witty retort. He elects instead to just. Breath heavily into the mic for a moment. Try to gather his thoughts. Try not to vomit inside his mask.
- What Randy says, with the long pause Crash ends up giving him: now I know you’re slow on the uptake and you probably haven’t figured out what’s happening yet, so I’m gonna say it nice and clear for you. You’re Roman’s problem now. And who knows, maybe you won’t disappoint him like you disappointed me. I’m sure you’ll be much better at being a coffee fetcher than you ever were at pretending to be a wrestler.
- what Randy does: throws Crash’s gear bag onto the mat. The sound that comes from it indicates that several items inside have broken from the impact.
- what crash wants to say: fuck you. You promised to help me. You promised to teach me. You promised to help me become the future of professional wrestling. I have followed every stupid fucking rule you’ve ever set for me. I saw you give preferential treatment to the other guys and I ignored it. I gave you the benefit of the doubt. I gave you everything I fucking had, and you’re selling me to the glue factory like a lame horse you can’t beat anymore. I gave you everything. I gave you everything. I just wanted someone to at least pretend to be proud of me, and you couldn’t even fake it for a second.
- what crash ends up saying: i hope he fucking kills me, because it’ll be kinder than all the shit you’ve put me through, you poisonous fucking cunt
- whatever happens next, Crash doesn’t know. His adrenaline finally dropped. His heart stopped racing. Exhaustion crawls in and makes a home on shaking shoulders. Crash’s head drops, and he sags in Roman and Solo’s arms, and he finally passes out.
- what happens next is this: smackdown goes off air, having failed to censor any of Crash’s swearing— a deliberate choice by the producers
- what happens next is this: Neo-Evolution makes their exit. Triple H calls for a stretcher and tells the Bloodline he can take it from here.
- what happens next is this: Roman picks up Crash, instructs Solo to grab his gear bag, and carries Crash to medical himself.

Naejunko/Naeshima idea Dump
Basically here's where I dump my Naejunko/Naeshima ideas, a lot of them are crack TBH, you can write about them if you wish.
Let's go:
Naejunko School Mode:A Naejunko route for School Mode.
Recursion of Hope and Despair:Makoto and Junko are forced to relieve the Killing School Life over and over again, so they do stuff different to not get bored.
Reluctant World Ender:Makoto is part of Super High School Level Despair...but isn't actually in Despair or even agrees with their ideology (he's an unwilling member), he and Junko are still drawn to each other despite being so different.
Hope Dad and Despair Mom:Makoto and Junko as the un oficial parents of Class 77.
Eternal Battle of Hope VS Despair:Makoto constantly follows Junko to foil her schemes.
Queen Of Hope:A Junko that's obsessed with Hope rather than Despair is...well...really into Makoto.
Reverse Naejunko:Makoto is the mastermind while Junko is the protag.
We're in this together:Junko isn't the mastermind but is still a participant of the killing game alongside Makoto, she's also his rival (akin to Nagito and Kokichi), Mukuro is there too, Kyoko is the Mastermind IDK.
A part of me died with you:Basically a story that takes place in two different universes were either Makoto or Junko won and the other died, then they realized that a life without the other is a bit empty...also a ghost/hallucination of the other follows them around.
Afterlife shenanigans:Junko executes Makoto alongside herself during the end of THH so she can cause the others despair as well, so now the two have to spend their afterlife alongside each other.
Un-Despairing Makoto:A Remnants Of Despair Class 78 AU, Junko realizes that Despair Makoto doesn't bring her the same excitement as his old self, so she works out a way to reverse that.
Messed up Island life:Remnants of Despair Class 78 AU again (a different one) were this time takes place in the Neo World Program Killing Game.
Disappearing Act:After his botched execution, Makoto finds a different route to get out of the Garbage Chute before Kyoko arrives but gets him somewhere else, this causes a chain of events that changes the outcome of the killing game (I think was either Junko faking her death or them just giving up and living there forever IDK, the point is she fucks off taking Makoto with her afterwards).
Reconnecting:Non-Despair AU were they re-encounter years after graduating from Hope's Peak.
Can't help but ruin each other:Makoto ruins her plans for Despair, she makes a mess out of his life in return and they can't seem to get off one of the other (It's toxic I know).
The Tyrant Queen and her servant:Instead of throwing the world into Despair, Junko rules it with an iron fist and Makoto is her servant/plaything/lover.
Can't do Despair right:Junko is an incompetent villain who everytime that she tries to do despair only ends up doing good.
Sadly i'm stuck with you:Makoto and Junko end up in weird adventures together...also just take potshots at each other constantly.
Tsunkoto:Makoto is Tsundereish towards Junko (come on you know she's the only one that can get him to act that way.
Yandere Naejunko:self explanatory.
Himedere/Kamidere Naejunko:Also self explanatory.
Reincarnation/Soulmate:Something Naejunko and reincarnation/Soulmate related.
You ended the world, so why do I still care about you?:Makoto and Junko had a relationship Pre-Despair but Makoto didn't agreed with her ideology or was part of her plans, and even after he knows the truth he can't let her go (though he doesn't become evil or anything of the sort).
Junko/Chiaki Swap:Junko Swaps places with Chiaki (though they keep talents and personality...to an extent) Class 77 and 78 also swaps places.
I can add more later or you can add as well, I know most of them are silly, but it's stuff that came into my head (besides this ship is a bit silly on concept).

Since I made the childhood days scenes for the "Defective Vinsmokes" AU, I wanted to draw the adult version, but since I imagined this AU to mostly follow canon, that means it has to take place in Whole Cake.
Their "off" mode could change the plot too much depending on when it happens, so I need to think about it carefully first. I will... eventually get to it. It just would complicate the situation if there's too much change.
Instead of that, I decided to make a scene set after Whole Cake.
Basically imagine the story to be mostly like how it is in the original, the difference is that Sanji doesn't dislike his brothers as much, so he's not that angry about the new Vinsmoke wanted posters. I feel like, after hearing Reiju's explanation Sanji would think of his brothers as victims of the experimentations too...
This is happening shortly before the World Government revoked Germa's membership, I guess, so the bros can still make demands to the Marines at the time.

Also, my drawing of their childhood days got 100 notes in one day! Thank you everyone!!!

Idk if anyone remembers the show but im concocting a veronica mars au in my head. This show gets me every time.
Sabine cheng, used to be the Local sheriff until she got fired for botching a case. Now she's a personal detective. Marinette is her daughter, who is now working as a private eye herself.
Her previous good friend uhhhh Bridgette, has been murdered, and to cope with the grief shes trying to find out who did it. This is also conveniently, the case that sabine botched, and feels responsible for her girls grief. Tom is still around, and their marriage is struggling a little bit, but they always come out strong in the end and give marinette a positive role model for her relationships.
Anyway, onto the fun bits.
Adrien, felix and kim take the place of the Rich Kid Boys. Adriens more the duncan type, sweet and nice and successful but kind of a bystander to his friends more Ugh actions. Felix is more of a wildcard, academic and professional but not without his uh Bouts of Insanity and snobbishness. Overall, comes off as a general douche, no matter how many sweater vests you give him. Kim is just... Kim. Very crazy and off the hook party guy, with a hidden soft side, but mostly just kind of a jackass. Leaning into early portrayals of him here, but he will get Humbler as the story goes on. May add more boys if the story demands it.
Chloe is popular and rich too. Shes marinettes enemy at the beginning, bullying her in a very madison sinclair way, but is brought on as an ally later once she finds herself needing help.
Alya is Mac, but significantly cooler and more upbeat. She can make her way around a computer all right, but shes also very interested in the inner workings of the school. Basically, gossip queen, can access the student records from her connections, and knows how to hack and code certain websites and other such things. Fun gal. Perfect for intel and stake outs, but uh may or may not have trouble keeping any information she finds secret.
Marinettes best friend (the wallace) is nino lahiffe, but theyve been friends since forever. Witty and snarky, a passion for music, always ready to help out on a case if it's needed. Biggest foil to chloe, since nino, mari and chloe all went to preschool together, and while marinette is more prone to forgiving later on, nino is not.
There's a big divide between the rich and the poor still, and id like that to be explored. Current rich kids include Adrien, kim, felix, chloe and kagami. The rest are working class and tend to struggle.
There are tons of relationships to explore. Sabrina being the new sheriffs daughter vs marinette the old sheriffs daughter, Alix who is very anti-establishment and her father who suddenly gets a raise and finds themselves in the richer part of town, max a nerd and kim a jock and their friendship blooming, anything involving lila because she's just great, the eventual nino and luka crossover band forming with kitty section members, etc.
I wouldnt make the mysteries as dark, but i do love mystery shows so uh sue me? I like the possibility for shipping here because really anything goes as Veronica in the show ends up having multiple relationships. So uh, adrienette can happen, felinette can happen, ninette, marikim, chlonette, lukanette, djwifi, its all fair game really.
I personally like the idea of marinette and Adrien being exes, felix having dated Bridgette before but uh. Her being murdered n all is not great for the relationship. So they all used to be friends. But now there's tension. And eventually felinette happens, but felix becomes too toxic and then adrienette 2 happens. Etc etc.
Anyway dumb au ideas brought to you by adrienscroissantx ill be here all week

8 and 22 👀
hi sophie ✨thank you for asking 🦋🥰
8. Your favorite graphic and or gif created by yourself
I really liked the manip I did for Vernon in my cyberpunk au LOL. I had this weird specific vision for him to be holding down his mask halfway and had to recreate it, Vernon was NOT in that pose to begin with (the original is here) so I had to take his hand from Trauma behind the scene and then I had to overlay the suit pattern and add shadows so it didn’t look like a ~floating arm~ as I do these types of edits I just learn what looks realistic and what looks botched LOL
22.What is your biggest improvement since you started making graphics and or gifs?
for gifs: definitely finding vapoursynth made my gifs smoother, sharper, and more HQ (also being able to process .tp/.ts/.webm files using VS has made gif-making much more fun LOL
for gfx: understanding different functionalities of Photoshop and its capabilities has made me a better gfx maker! One of the biggest tips is consuming media, LOTS of it. I suggest going on behance time to time and really looking at projects that interest you and understanding WHY you like it. For me, one of the biggest things I like is composition and color, and making use of simplicity. Like when I compare this Hoshi edit with this Joshua edit, they had similar approaches (I had a png of Joshua & focused on editing the background with simple shapes + text) but I wanna say that my shua set shows improved skills - making text readable, knowing best color combinations, etc. lol

My 14x20 thoughts: part 1 - the recap sequence
...And of course the recap sequence starts with John. It’s a circle. John, the first author in the story, whose journal carried clues that sent Dean and Sam across the country on their first cases after John’s disappearance brought them together again. First John in the Impala, in the past, not so distant from the moment where the part of the story covered by the show begins. Then John talking with Dean. Then it’s all true. God, the Devil. Now you live in a secret bunker with an angel and Lucifer’s kid. -- Dad, none of this would have happened without you. The snake bites its own tail... And then Carry On My Wayward Son, aptly, starts playing. (And interestingly, a few John-mirror monsters burn, and, apart than Sam and Dean, the other monsters in the sequence are dealt with by Mary and Kaia.)
The Road So Far summary sequence starts with Michael (and a delightful little showcase of Jensen’s acting chops as Michael progressively smiles), and now we can appreciate the irony of setting up Michael as the main villain of the season just to reveal that he never was, because this version of the Michael character was the one that saw beyond the veil, who realized the truth about God--but could never do anything with it, because he was never the protagonist of the story. He was only the protagonist in a botched draft where the real protagonists weren’t even born, and that was abandoned to itself, ending up pretty much self-destructing.
Then we’re reminded of Billie and the Ma’lak box, and now we can understand why that part seemed to paint Billie in a negative light, either as ignorant or a liar, because what she said turned up not true, as Sam himself reminds us later in the episode. Chuck doesn’t like Billie, because she breaks the rules. Now we can appreciate the significance of Billie’s calculated risks. And now we know what she meant as the big picture she became aware of when she became Death, and how exactly she saw that Dean and Sam were important. She saw that they were the protagonists in the story, didn’t she? But of course we’ll only learn her position, and what exactly she is doing “sticking her scythe where it doesn’t belong”, in the next season.
The recap will later move to Jack, but, placed right in the middle between the Michael part and the Jack part, the recap reminds us again of John’s brief comeback... with a major focus on the shot of John pointing a firearm at Dean. Foreshadowing! *cue gasps from the readers*
And now it’s time for Jack, the other character set up as the “big bad” of the season after Michael. Plot twist, you were led to believe Michael was the big bad but it was Jack! Dean vs Michael was old, stale storytelling that didn’t work anymore, never did, it was a lot more interesting to turn the story into a different, more fruitful direction. Enough with the Cain-and-Abel AU with Michael and Lucifer as foils, also enough with the brief Noah AU of the Michael!Dean experiment -- the hottest AU is now Abraham-and-Isaac. Not a coincidence suddenly John and Mary are back to the front of the story, Mary’s latest personal character development (the new story with Bobby...) dropped -- the focus of the narrative is now strictly on parent-child dynamics.
So, now it’s time for Jack, his sickness, death and resurrection, and how he takes off the board both Michael and Lucifer. And eventually the latest developments on that story, until we get to the present. The Now card flashes, and we arrive at the core of the issue, and the fil rouge of the episode. Lies. The first line in the episode is You lied to me, and the last one, excluding the civilians and monsters in the final sequence, is He’s a writer--writers lie. A circle again... but this is for another post.

TransPanda OC Tournament Round 1:
Tumblr media
The rules of the tournament
Brief introduction to "Thank You For Existing"
CHARACTER BIOS BELOW

Taeko Witch
Tumblr media
“Oh my God, are you okay!? You’re so short, skinny, and malnourished! …What does being 6’2” have to do with it?”
Taeko is the last human remaining after a long zombie apocalypse, the zombies now evolved back into basically people, but with deer-like bone growths. Taken in as a baby by Judy Witch, Maya’s close friend, Taeko had practically 0 references to human culture and history. Thus her light mutations, which turned her tall, muscular, and with a beetle like pompadour, was met with “Clearly I’m a normal, average human gal.” Which, considering she’s the last human, means… she is. Funny how that works. She has a tendency to pose ridiculously. Taeko panics when her mom is kidnapped, and is willing to throw as many “average punches” to save her.
Primary Inspiration: Jonathan Joestar from Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure
Plural or Plural Adjacent?: Neither (Wow, two singlets in one poll?? We’re spoiling you guys.)
