Also! I feel like people can be a bit too mean about Hercule sometimes (because okay. the bit about claiming ki techniques as tricks is one thing, and like. I get where people come from in him taking the credit for Cell but also come on. Gohan would not want to be famous pls) AND I feel like the presence of animal people and other weird stuff on earth drops off as the series progresses, which out of universe is because of the change in tone but in universe is like. That has implications.

So. Concept of Hercule as yes, a bit (or a lot of) a glory hound and a showboat but also as someone who uses that influence to, like, champion the rights for the various non-human sapient Earthlings particularly as they start to get pushed to the sidelines of urbanization. getting into this awesome new kdrama called see you in my 19th life and i’ve been losing my MIND screaming into my pillow at the angst and poignance but some part of me is fully flabbergasted watching myself sobbing over this cisheterosexual couple in a kdrama. it’s just so ... 5th grade me. i know now that i’m bi and the continued lgbtq+ erasure in most kdramas feel like pointed straight propaganda in the year of our lord 2023. but you know what there is something so gay about being born again and again (in different genders!!!) looking for love and a home and a happy ending, and then ending up with a handsome soft boyfriend who has never done anything wrong ever who is also a passenger princess that you occasionally must rescue from goons with your mad fighting and critical thinking skills. this is a show for bisexuals change my mind

it's just so special to me when like a character is a massive loser and yet they get someone who falls head over heels for them. like yeah boy pull some bitches with your weak-ass game and cringefail demeanor

A little gripe I have with BNHA fic authors is when a fic is tagged with "Quirkless Midoriya Izuku" and then... he has a quirk. So, no, you do not have "Quirkless Midoriya Izuku" in your fic and thus should not be using the tag.

"But he thinks he's quirkless!" Okay, but he's not.

"But he's quirkless for part of the fic before he gets a quirk!" Okay, but he still gets a quirk.

If you want Izuku having a quirk to be a suprise you can simply not tag the fic with "Quirkless Midoriya Izuku" or "Midoriya Izuku has a quirk" so that when going into the fic, the reader doesn't know.

I just! Want to read quirkless Izuku fics without "surprise! he actually does have a quirk" popping up and then undermining the entire premise of Izuku becoming a quirkless hero or whatever.

In the end it's always the author's choice on which tags to use but I just wish people would put a little more thought into them, I guess?
