The lack of Yor, Rei, and Kazuki being friends as well as adding other characters from other shows make me sad. Anyway here is my contribution.

Kazuki did once have a huge crush on Yor upon first meeting. He used to flirt with you a couple of times however Yor was obvious to it. Later on, they became close friends since they both have similar backgrounds.

Yor and Rei do occasionally play video games together however Yor almost always ends up breaking the controller whenever she gets really into a game. So whenever Yor comes of rei make sure to have a spare controller, so that he won't miss much when it broken

"You are doing okay" was the thing Yor said as she held Kazuki's hand. She understood the pressures of being a good mom, she felt the same and still does while raising Anya. Having someone say you are doing alright, may seem small but it meant so much more when it was said Yor. She hoped it worked for Kazuki. It did Kazuki cried out of relief, thanking Yor

Kazuki was supposed to be Yor's fake husband, however, had to cancel since a mission came up. You can imagine his surprise to see Yor landed herself a husband AND a kid later on. He was suspicious of Loid at first, so he had Kyutaro do a background check on him. Even if Yor explained the details to him about he & the stranger's arrangement. they came with nothing, and Kazuki felt guilty. He promised Yor not to worry about her. He still doesn't fully trust Loid but sees the charm in him.

(BONUS CANONS!)Before Yor meets Loid and Miri enters the picture, Yor used to crash at rei apartment sometimes when a particular job was messy. The roommates had no problem with ehr using the bathroom to clean up. And Kazauki sometimes gives her a meal before she goes.

Kazuki while babysitting Anya, also takes careof bonds. He enjoys the old dog and often brings treats for him when he's over at the forger house. Miri enjoys Bond's company too, she was bit rough with him upon first meeting, luckily Anya taught her to be more gentle with the old dog

Miri admires the heck out of her auntie Yor and dreams to be like ehr one day. This slightly worries Kazuki while Yor is a good person. he doesn't want his daughter to follow her lifestyle.

Whenever rei baby sit the two girl, he usually just plays video games with both. Anya wasn't interested at first but quickly became interested when they played the "Spy wars: Escape from Paris" video game. Luckily, it was a multiplier player, they could play different spies but the story still played out the same. She was sad when Rei left with the game however rei lent her the game. So she could finish it by herself as long as she was careful. Anya was over the moon and played it every day, causing her studies to further tank.Forcing loid to confiscate it for the time being.

When Loid babysits he almost always ends up tucked out. It was one thing raising Anya alone but also taking take of another child who 4. It was a struggle, usually, Yor is around to help make it a bit easier. However she isn't, he cant' survive and must wait until Kazuki & Rei take the little gremlin out of his hands.

Wait okay it would be really funny if Eddie kept going, “Chris, can you sit down? We need to have a Very Important Conversation,” and every time Chris is thinking this is it, he’s finally going to come out to me, and then it’s always Eddie saying some shit like, “can you unbuild your Lego set so you can rebuild it with Buck when he comes over because that would make him really happy”

I know that the “Buckley Diaz family” has been a term for years in this fandom but I’m going to be brave and tell you one of my pretty controversial headcanons:

If Buck and Eddie ended up together and eventually got married, Buck would change his name and be Evan Diaz.

Considering how awful his parents were to him, I don’t think keeping the name “Buckley”, a name his parents gave him, is a super high priority for him. I think he’d rather have the name of the love of his life and literal son than the name of the people who hurt him so badly. I think at that point in his relationship he’d identify more with the Diaz name.

I also think it would be a little funny when he would introduce himself to someone he’s just met like: “Evan Diaz, but everyone calls me Buck.” And whoever he meets always just looks a little confused like “Why is that his nickname?”

Buddie Headcanons bc i forgot to take my meds today and it is too late to take them now bc if i did i would be up all night but im somehow still wide awake at 3am anyway so eh what the hell 🤷

- Eddie bought Buck a journal that he keeps in his bedside table drawer, so that if he wakes up in the middle of the night with some sort of information running through his brain, he can write it down as an outlet to gush about the information so he doesn’t toss and turn the rest of the night bc he feels bad waking up eddie to info-dump

- Buck went all out on the cheesey newly-wed merch: matching his & his throw pillows for the bed, matching Mr. & Mr. Diaz coffee mugs, pun-y couple t-shirts, etc. Eddie pretends to find it annoying, but he can’t hide the smile he always has when he holds the Mr. Diaz mug.

- They both leave sticky notes to each other around the house with little sweet nothings written on them; Chris eventually got annoyed with them and started writing things like “you two are gross” or “get a room” and leaving them in the usual spots

- Buck is a swiftie, Eddie claims he doesn’t like her music, but Buck constantly hears Eddie humming her music around the house as he carries out daily tasks

- They watch Drag Race together, and Buck info-dumps about the queens as Eddie just listens not comprehending a word of it bc he’s too busy watching Buck be so entertained

- Eddie learns how to make omelets and starts making them for Buck; they aren’t good at all, but Buck always eats them bc he sees how proud of himself Eddie is and he refuses to make Eddie sad

- When Eddie and Buck’s daughter gets into dance/theatre, Buck immediately turns into the Dance/Theatre Mom, learning how to see to make costumes, getting in arguments with other moms, sitting front row and filming every performance, etc.

- Buck sets their alarm an hour early intentionally so they have time to cuddle in bed every morning; waking each other up with soft kisses (Eddie loves to kiss the tip of Buck’s nose first thing in the morning bc it makes Buck blush), and whispered “i love you”s until their second alarm goes off and they start their day

- Eddie always does the dishes since Buck cooks, but Buck keeps him company by drying snd putting them away

- As a wedding gift to Buck, Eddie got Bobby’s help to track down the scrap yard where decommissioned LAFD vehicles go and got a peice of scrap from an old 118 engine that he had melted down to make their wedding bands

- Eddie asked for Bobby and Athena’s blessing before he proposed to Buck

- Buck (who was simultaneously preparing a proposal) visited Shannon’s grave with Chris to ask for her blessing to propose; promising to take care of her boys for her

- Buck (and Chris) begged Eddie to get a cat, but Eddie always said no… until Eddie found a stray in their backyard one day and started to feed it. The cat never left, and now spends most nights curled up on Eddie’s lap, and he would protect that cat like it was his own baby.

- Buck didn’t know Eddie wears contact lenses, and one of their days off when Eddie ran out, he wore his glasses to the breakfast table and Buck was speechless for most of the morning (Chris teased him relentlessly afterwards)

- Eddie started wearing his glasses more often after that because he thought it was cute the way Buck got all flustered and blushy

- Late at night on overnight shifts, if one of them has a nightmare, they sneak out of the bunkroom to go lay on the roof— they would call it stargazing, but there is too much light pollution from LA to see anything other than faint specks, but they still love to hold each other in silence to calm the other one down

- One of Buck’s favorite photos of Eddie was taken long before they got together; it was at a Grant-Nash barbecue shortly after Jee had been born, and Eddie was lounging in a lawn chair with a sleeping baby Jee curled up in his arms— he has a small smile on his face as he looks down at her, and it’s one of the first times Buck remembers looking at Eddie and thinking “He is so beautiful”

- When Eddie asked Buck to move in with him and Chris, Buck teased him by saying “you’re not gonna kick me out after a day, are you?”

- Eddie got him back when he jokingly kicked Buck out after a day, Buck believing he meant it for a solid 45 seconds before Eddie started laughing and pulled him into a tight hug, telling him he was joking

- They were initially going to replace Eddie’s bed with Buck’s, but when they were moving things in, they were playfully shoving each other around and both accidentally fell onto the bed before it was fully set up, breaking the supports meaning they had to buy a new bed

- Chimney (who witnessed this happen) now teases them relentlessly about how they “broke the bed” when Buck moved in

Rei is significantly more relaxed over the years, but the saying "once a hitman, always a hitman" rings true for him.

And Kazuki.

There were instances where they got robbed, or there were attempts made anyway, where Rei's sole working arm was preoccupied, or he found himself in an otherwise vulnerable position.

And yet, no harm had ever come to him, and that was not because of Rei's doing at all.

It was Kazuki.

That man had stored more weapons in the crevices of the diner than Rei had back at their old place, which was an incredible feat to surpass. All weapons were well out of reach and knowledge of Miri (unbeknownst to them, Miri knows all the hiding places) and if Rei were ever in a position to be distracted or incapable of disarming an intruder, he could always count on Kazuki.

The first time happened when Rei was carrying a heavy box and carefully positioning it on his shoulder to heave it on a high shelf. He had heard the intruder, his senses still sharp as ever, but had no time to grab any of the weapons from the kitchen.

But Rei knew, he didn't need to.

The second the intruder whipped out what Rei assumed was a pistol, the same second a gut twisting scream tore from the man's throat and a loud thud followed it.

The would-be robber was sweating (and probably soiling) himself. Kazuki Kurusu stood with one arm filled with groceries and the other holding a loaded gun aimed at the guy's head, a menacing, almost sadistic smile twisting his usually kind features.

Rei smirked and finished heaving up the box on the shelf, very much unbothered by the sight before him. "Ah, did you forget to buy the lemons, again?"

Kazuki's sadistic killer smile vanished and he glanced at Rei with a twitch in his eye. "Did I forget- I'll have you know, Miri wrote down everything we needed! So no, I didn't forget to buy the lemons."

Rei rested his hand on his hip. "Outside?"

Kazuki nodded, gun never once leaving its position aimed at the intruder's head. "Yep, but she can barely wait for dinner so lets wrap this up qui-"

The intruder thought Kazuki was sufficiently distracted to attempt to tackle Rei and at least flee the scene, but as soon as he moved, Kazuki and Rei moved as well.

Rei swiped his feet out and tripped the guy, while Kazuki brutally slammed his foot on top of the guy's head. An audible thud rang through the air when the man's skull made contact with the floor, the cold steel of the gun pressed into his head. "Oi, it's rude to interrupt people while they're talking, dickhead."

Rei was already calling the police, silently lamenting the fact that they couldn't bury him in their backyard. Perhaps his plants would grow faster too that way.

Oh well.

"You didn't buy the lemons." Rei stared blankly at Kazuki while the police escorted the beat up robber outside.

Kazuki's eye twitched again. "MIRI!"

Miri huffed. "I swear I wrote it down, Kazu Papa!"

Okay, straight Eddie Diaz, because - hear me out - trans woman Eddie Diaz.

Like it makes perfect sense in canon due to the fact that Eddie is repressed as hell, it can be about just sexuality, but I think adding in gender really adds to it. She does truly dream of having that traditional marriage with someone, she has just been casting herself in the wrong role, which makes it all the harder to figure out, because she is so sure that's what she wants, but it always feels wrong anyway.

It turns out, all the women she has dated felt wrong, because she wanted to be them not be with them. Plus, they never measured up as a parental figure, as a mother figure specifically, because Eddie wasn't comparing to what can be expected of an early stages potential step parent. Instead, she was comparing them to what she, Eddie, provides for Chris, and they could never be as good as a mom as her (but she didn't realize this).

((Also, Buck - bc yes, I am making this a little buddie - was able to fit into that step parent role, bc Eddie wasn't comparing him to herself, but let him organically grow into the role. Something Eddie doesn't realize until she unpacked a lot of stuff and realized her feelings for him aren't the platonic kind. She also realizes why she was so fuckign jealous of all his girlfriends, but always less bothered by his boyfriends.))

I feel like she'd be more masc (give me butch trans woman Eddie, please, fan artist out there, I'm on my little knees) and she struggles a lot with wanting to be a woman, but having 'masculine' interest and thus feeling like she can't be. Seeing Hen was both great for her and the cause of much confusion, bc she wanted what Hen had so bad, but also not entirely, because she isn't a lesbian and she had no clue what that meant when she first started working with the 118.

She has a hyper-masculine phase (mustache Eddie, why xp), really leaning into 'being a man' to run away from the feelings, because that is a mood. This isn't a great time for Eddie, because she does still like her masculine hobbies, as mentioned above, so it's confusing and she semi-gaslights herself into thinking she is imagining it. Until one day she shaves and is like, huh, I forgot how much I liked the clean shaven look and suddenly that triggers a whole set of revelations.

She keeps the short hair, but changes the shaping off it slightly so it softens her face more. She also is a jeans girly through and through, though comfy leggings definitely start making their way into the rotation after Maddie introduced her to them. Eddie does change the cut of her jeans slightly to be less tight at the crotch area, but she does like jeans that emphasize her butt, bc she has a great ass and that makes her feel good about herself. Overall, she isn't big on skirts, but wears dresses when there is an occasion.

Also, she has height dysphoria, which also upsets her, because all the heels look fun, she doesn't care that Hen claims they're the devil's shoes. ((Buck being taller makes Eddie so euphoric, before she realizes what is making her dysphoric exactly, she'd continuously be in his space, because he makes her feel a little shorter. When on dates, she sometimes can pull out heels and Buck will wear thicker soles so she can, sliding an arm around her waist and tucking her into his side so the dysphoria won't creep back in)).

She doesn't tell her parents at first, but she does tell her sisters, who are thrilled to have an all girls sibling squad now. They give her some of the heirloom jewelry they got, which Eddie missed out on, because she was still an egg at the time. She totally doesn't cry... Maybe a little.

Eddie is not a make up girl, however. She really tried to get into it, especially to cover the five-o'clock shadow, but it always looked weird and it isn't practical with her job. When they have a party, she'll put on some mascara and try with contour to add a little different shaping to her jaw and cheeks, but she never gets into it as much as she thought she would. She does not say no to getting manny paddies with Athena and May from time to time. Having nice nails is a great source of gender euphoria.

It was a little hard on Chris for Eddie to be mom too and Eddie had a whole crisis about what if this is repeating Kim, but in a different font and I am actually trying to replace Shannon? She has a lot of solo therapy and the two go to family therapy. Chris is never a dick about it, just a kid working through his trauma (don't be mean). When they have worked through it, Chris is her number one hype man, even though he's an awkward teen about it. His stumbling compliments are always her favorite and she carries them with her in her heart.

Anyway, just straight trans woman Eddie <3

eddie loves coffee and drinks it all the time, his day doesn't start until he's had a mug of coffee. buck doesn't drink coffee or drinks it as rarely as possible because it causes anxiety and has a bad effect on his adhd, but he just loves different teas and has many different kinds of loose leaf teas at home.

No matter how long it would be after 3s I would always ask myself "WHEN did Buck and Eddie exchange their keys?"

Especially because in 2s we never see them in each other's houses( I mean only Diaz house and loft) , but boom in 3s Eddie has keys for the loft. Really fast and big change. Especially considering the fact that Hen and Chim friends for more that 10 years but they don't have keys to each other's houses.

My strongest hc is that it happened when Buck was with cast and couldn't move fast so when Diaz boys came to see him he didn't want make them and especially Chris wait near door for too long, so he gave Eddie keys. "I don't want you two wait till I will make it to the door, so here. It will be more convenient for everyone. Come to see me anytime you want." Buck didn't expect the same back, and actually Eddie was firstly surprised and needed sometime to think that yes he wants Buck to have keys from his house. So he went and made it for him cause he hadn't had new keys to give to Buck. Then some days after Eddie left his keys in Buck's house without words and Buck put them with his. They never talked about it again. And when Buck was without cast it was just easier to never take back keys cause what's the point? It works for them like that perfectly, so why change it?

If Anya and Miri were ever friends, Becky would be jealous since Anya hanging out with another kid, who is half her age. I can imagine Becky saying something like this to Anya when she invites Miri to play with them ”Why you are hanging out with a baby, Anya? She's too young to play with us.”

During the first meeting, Becky will bully Miri, unintentionally out of jealousy mostly. She will say stuff like

”*sighs*Of course you wouldn't know that you are too young”, "Why don't you go to your little crib, Miri?" and "Hush, Miri the big kids are talking", causing Miri to feel uncomfortable and wanting to leave

Anya takes Becky aside while Miri has dessert, and tells Becky to not be so mean. Becky gets offensive, she will state it isn't her fault Miri can't behave. Anya then points out that she is like Damian. This causes Becky to stop and realize she was acting like him. She starts apologizing to Anya, crying out"OMG I HAVE BEEN WORST BFF EVER!! I AM SORRY!!!"

Anya forgives her on condition if she does the same for Miri.Which she does and the rest of us hang out goes smoothly.Becky grows fond of Miri.She admits for four she isn't that bad to hang out with.

(Bonus: Near the end of hanging out when Kazuki & rei come to pick Miri up. She will be struck with Kazauki and conflicted about her feeling for them and Loid. She will relate her situation to one of the love novellas she sees on tv and start making a list of who would make a better partner)

honestly i like evan “buck” diaz and I don’t really care that some people use buck taking eddie’s name in a weird ship war way. that doesn’t ruin it it’s still sweet and in character to me. it’s not about hating his name and getting rid of buckley, it’s about claiming his place in eddie and christopher’s family. which i am rooting for him to do

eddie bought the dinosaurs toothbrush holders bc buck and chris went through a dinosaur phase and then buck bought the little frog sponge holder bc he thought it was cute and now eddie smiles everytime he goes to wash the dishes. <3

Buck and Eddie are so funny bc Buck can definitely have complete conversations using nothing but emojis and he def gets excited whenever Apple releases new ones. Eddie on the other hand refuses to bother with them and cannot figure out what the hell 🥺🙏🏻🥳means when he asks if Buck wants pizza for dinner. however occasionally when Eddie’s feeling frisky he will add a silly little ;p for some spice bc he’s still a 2000s kid at heart
