Had a bit of a xenophobic moment just now lmao

#I was at a campfire site minding my own business when a bunch of southerners came up #and while sternly pretending that I wasn't there they put on godawful music and started doing yoga #and I. well. I'll admit I could've made an attempt to be more communicative but like. I was literally right there #and they were being extremely rude. like. I don't know it's a cultural thing because I genuinely do not understand southern finns #but I think it's customary to ask if it's okay to blast music from your shitty boombox when there are others present??#not to mention that we were literally in the middle of the forest where people usually want to enjoy the silence ffs #and they didn't so much as say hi #so I was like. fuck it. two csn play this game. and I pulled up my phone and searched for 10 hours of annoying noise on youtube #and started blasting that to drown their dumbfuck yoga music #and eventually they pulled that gross fake southerner smile and asked me if I wanted to join them #and I was like. no I don't think I will. I was just curious how long they were willing to pretend that I wasn't there #and I told them it's common sense to ask other people if they're okay with playing music that loud especially in a situation like this #and they were STILL fake smiling at me and said I'm free to join. so I was like. okay gals listen up.#I don't know if this is how you do it in helsinki but it does not fucking fly in lapland and maybe they'd be better off going the fuck back #to where they came from #(which is a gross thing to say to anyone I KNOW but I was being talked down and fake smiled at #and feeling fairly fucking pissed at that point)#then I was like aight I've had enough I'm outta here #but changed my mind and came back #at which point they turned off the music and actually apologized. which I can appreciate #so uhh yeah. I can be obnoxious and gross sometimes lol #but even though it didn't come out in the best possible way I still think it was like. a well-deserved moment of straightforwardness #for the three of them #honestly I don't feel ashamed at all haha #but maybe next time I'll be more polite. just maybe. no prommies tho

#yeah I said it #hsr #Honkai star rail #topaz hsr #topaz and numby #jade #jade hsr #hsr Jade #hsr topaz #like they’re not good but their not mustache twirling villains y’all #yes topaz did mess up by not telling bronya the actual success rate if she accepted the deal #but you have to remember she was indoctrinated since she was a kid that the ipc was good and that those who surrendered to its power will #succeed and thrive #hell they may have used examples like boothills home planet as warnings #of course she would think the ipc is good and will #help jarillo #her home planet was on the brink of collapse when the ipc came and it was quite literally life saving #even though it did mean robbing the future of a population to work for them topaz so grateful for the ipc and sees it as a way to pay back #you guys are forgetting that she was willing to sacrifice her position and that she was happy the planet could be independent #now we don’t know much about jade but she doesn’t go seeking out desperate people #those people come to her and accept those deals knowing full well every detail and it’s cost #she may get some pleasure from it sure but she’s just doing business with people #and yet I see people view them as villains and yet not call out aventurine with helping the ipc take control of penacony #he’s a victim yes but so is topaz when it comes to the ipc manipulating them #topaz has good Intentions and is just following what she has been taught since childhood #look I love aventurine I really do but he’s not pure and at the end of the day both him and topaz are people they are flawed #they’re not completely bad or good #sorry it was mainly about topaz we don’t know much about jade and I might change my mind on her when we do

Absolutely the funniest thing about my current corner of tumblr is that pretty much everyone I've recently followed for Apollo-Appreciating Purposes are either genuinely Hellenist or just rather very into Rick Riordan's Trials of Apollo series which is wild because I know a net zero about both of those things.

#I've never been interested in Riordan's work and the Percy Jackson books I did read as a young lad didn't change my mind on that topic #Growing up I preferred a very one or the other method for my greek adaptational content #which essentially means either you're a play or an adaptation of a legit story or myth with recogniseable figures and plotpoints #or you're an original story with mythical elements but the myths and the adaptations and interpretations of those myths is secondary #Percy Jackson did both and it was very disorienting for me because the books were well grounded enough that when I came into contact #with some element I didn't recognise or couldn't remember I myself would get confused and go “Is that true? like really?? :0c”#Then I ran a library book club and Percy Jackson books were p much all the kids wanted to read #but they rejected all of my supplementary greek myth exercises and got a lot of stuff mixed around #because percy jackson does a rather good job of making a convincing argument that it knows its stuff and people will quicker cite that #than do readings of the much more difficult older texts and translations of text #It's not Percy Jackson's fault it's just a bad experience that stuck with me and by extension leaked over into Trials of Apollo when that #was released #Trials of Apollo was crazy because I generally make it my business to consume any and all greek myth interpretational media that bothers #to include Apollo (there is a shockingly low amount of things that do that)#however a LOT of novels especially never let Apollo retain the dignity of a god in their portrayals of him #and have him resemble a teenager more than anything even remotely close to an adult #I had just gotten finished reading a novel adaptation of the story of Coronis and Apollo with this same issue #so when I opened the first volume of ToA and saw that Apollo simply genuinely WAS a teenager #Frankly I just closed the book and put it back on the bookstore shelf and very calmly walked away LMFAO #I have nothing to say about Hellenists and neo hellenists y'all seem like wonderful people and I hope #you have a lovely time with your e-offerings and worship #unless you are my single personal friend with Apollo as your patron #then I wish you 1000 woes and 10000 divine brain blasts #toa #pjo #ginger rambles

Fnaf au where William figures out how to actually resurrect cc and then the aftons just have to live with that— not only is cc undead now but dad is freaking victor Frankenstein !! (like, literally, I imagine William discovered how to harvest remnant from recently deceased corpses rather then killing anyone himself, thus the mci doesn’t happen and Charlie doesn’t die either)

They just have to pretend this is normal and fine

#I imagine it’s especially awful for cc and Micheal I mean #think about how odd that is for cc #most of him are the original parts but many internal organs had to be replaced #the parts that become unusable quicker..#he looks the same on the outside but he knows the difference. he knows something is very different #furthermore he wouldn’t age normally #if he ever wanted to look older he’d have to add new parts.. new bones and skin #and I imagine that’s a disturbing prospect for him so he’d avoid it at all cost #trapped in an unageing body for presumably eternity #and then theirs Micheal #while the whole family grieved Michael’s grief was in tandem with guilt #he killed his brother- it’s his fault this happened #but then he just.. came back.. as if it didn’t happen? how is Micheal supposed to be ok with that #how can you ever reverse the death of someone in your mind when you’ve already lived the grief?#I wonder how this would effect Williams relationship with his family #Clara I’m sure would be upset with him for not telling her #like he was digging up corpses and experimenting with forces beyond human comprehension #and he didn’t think for even a second “maybe I should tell my wife??”#she’s worried she’s not getting the full story- that’s it’s worse then he’s telling her #and I think Williams relationship with his kids would change too #Elizabeth could go either way but maybe she’d side with him #she in her naivety would believe that it’s a good thing #cc is alive! isn’t that what matters? didn’t you miss him? aren’t you happy he’s back?#I’m gonna cap this here #I’ve been going on too long

Hellooo silly tumblr people on my browser!!! I’ve decided to kind of avoid posting about murder drones stuff, and talk about it less frequently as it doesn’t interest me as much as it did, or at least until I’m able to get some new insight on episodes or teasers (which I may come back for). I’m really figuring out what I like and figuring out what I actually love drawing besides robots!! (Though I do LOVE robots they are wonderful creatures to me, just not drawing them 24/7) Who knows, maybe I’ll start talking about murder drones out of the blue, but I think it’s good to take a break from something every once in a while!
