i hope this goes without saying but “if you see something, say something” exists within fandom spaces too. and i don’t mean outright cyber bullying.
i mean when you read something in a fic that feels off- be it a certain stereotype used, or a slur, or the erasure/changing of a character’s racial/sexual/gender/cultural identity/disability in favor of one that takes away from the content’s diversity instead of adding to it or leaving it the same.
i mean when you see art of a character and they’re very clearly much lighter in skin tone/have much more eurocentric features than the actual actor/character the art is based on, or a mobility aid they commonly use is never showcased when an artist draws them.
even if it’s not “against” you and the marginalized group you belong to. even if the creator says they put a lot of effort into their product, and you’re sure they did. look out for marginalized fans. send a kind and curious dm to a creator asking about why they chose whichever stereotype you saw. let your questioning make them question themselves so they can learn from the error. reach out. it’s not flaming or bashing fanwork- it’s protecting underrepresented fans from encountering content or creators that don’t welcome them. it opens things up for wider conversation and research and correction and continuing.
if you read it, give it notes, comment- say something.

had this random little thought/theory and thought “ saints will like this!”
but to me, james is such a film bro. he thinks it sac-religious if you haven’t seen the godfather, pulp fiction or fight club. try to tell him that the clockwork orange and matrix aren’t cinematic genius?? he might get viscerally agitated. but you know what? it’s so endlessly endearing how he gets defensive and will go on hour long rants trying to defend “his” movies, that you just wanna smooch the fellow
YEAH YEAH YEAH. james is exactly this kind of film bro with that kind of taste, but it’s only important because regulus black is a ~cinephile 🥀🚬~
regulus black thinks tarantino is a childish pedestrian hack. “navel-gazing,” regulus is saying, while smoking a cigarette pretentiously. he has opinions on auteur theory. his favorite movie is, like, bertolucci’s contemplative 1970 reflection on repressed homosexual urges under mussolini’s regime. he only ever wants to watch ozu and bergman and antonioni. he loves the 400 blows. you ask him for something casual and he puts on The Bitter Tears Of Petra Von Kant.
james describes himself as a “film lover” and regulus is actually so genuinely pleased because all his friends have clowned him for his taste all his life. he smiles to himself the whole ride home, until he’s getting on the phone w/ james back at his place, literally twirling his hair kicking his feet. “so…. what’s your favorite film?” regulus is asking, blushing.
then this man says goddamn “Fight Club” and everything is FUCKED

Architects can change their form right? I mean their bodies are pretty much a few dozen organisms frankensteined together, so it wouldn’t be much of a stretch to imagine that even though it isn’t desirable to them they would be willing to get a new body that is based on only a quarter of said organisms, a form that isn’t akin to their usual bodies but more specific for certain planets / solar systems. I mean canonically we know that they can transfer to different bodies so it isn’t much of a stretch to imagine they do have different types of bodies for different planets and solar systems. So what would a humanoid body look like? I’d imagine it wouldn’t look like an actual human does, perhaps a little uncanny (eyes too far apart, nose too far up, lower arms too long, you get it) or just full alien, maybe a mix of features too. Would they have hair or would it be considered inefficient? Would they be taller or shorter than the average human? Female or male presenting? Or androgynous perhaps?
TLDR: if architects would create a humanoid(ish) body would it have hair or not?

au where the clones are suddenly given powers powers based on their armour paint
the rest of the bad batch can puppet corpses (skeleton designs) and echo can astral project a million hands to slap anyone who makes comments about his scomp
jesse can summon kinetic shurikens in the shape of gears, dogma can do the same with a boomerang, hardcase has super speed as long as he moves in straight lines, and tup can turn into a puddle and slide around
fives can turn into a Rishi eel, Rex can turn into a shriek hawk (jaig), wolffe you get the idea
clones with the medic symbol like kix have healing abilities and cody, of course, has sunburst/light summoning powers

Anyway I think the rat grinders are trying to resurrect an evil god so they can defeat them and get their name on the map. So they can “compete” with the Bad Kids and be the big heros of the year.
This goes hand in hand with being President as well. Like if course they want to be president, if their plan goes through then they’re the underdogs that did it. They’re the ones who defeated a god brought back, and they deserve to be president because everyone loves an underdog.

talking entirely character wise. do you think today was a bit of a wake up call for bad. do you think he heard red screaming out of their minds begging for toxic gas and thought about how they’ve lost their minds just a little bit. do you think that when he was given an immediate no when he asked where the red egg was to help them defend he understood how deep of a rift he created. do you think as he sat there silent while the rest of red cheered at killing the egg statue, he wondered if he could have pushed them a little too far. do you think that maybe, just maybe, with the red sun beating down on him in that desert, the gas mask team cheering and dancing, he felt for a single moment the consequences of his actions? that maybe, if he hadn’t started out so hostile with extreme tactics, if he hadn’t been so bloodthirsty and ruthless, if he had had just a little bit of hesitation, that his own attempts at diplomacy would have gone over better? that the rest of the teams would have listened? that red would have trusted his judgement on the egg statues, or at the very least respected him enough to honor an agreement? do you think he realizes that burning his bridges may have fucked him over?
