He shower's you in gifts and love. Anything you want or he thinks would look good on you he would buy you. He doesn't know how else to show how he loves you so he just spoils you.

He is pretty vulnerable especially because of his disease. He shows his soft side and loves you with everything he has. He wants you to to feel comfortable and safe with him. Even when he feels weak he comes to see you even if you might attack him while he's weak.

He's understanding but it still makes him sad. He would've hoped you would warm up to him with his he spoils you. If you keep fighting back and are a risk to his safety he will have to begrudgingly tie you up in his chambers.

He does not like to see you fight and struggle. When you kick him and dash out of the room and into the halls trying to flee his guards. Hell — what would be their darling’s worst experience with them?

Similar to the experience I just wrote above lol. But this time they try sneaking out in the dead of night. He's tightly gripping you and having you pressed against his chest. You sneakily get out of his grasp and try to leave. But there are guards posted outside your bedroom, so they catch you immediately. Your kicking and screaming and Baldwin is just shaking his head. He decides to tie you to his bed. Your hands above your head and feet bound together. Your gagged and crying and Baldwin is just glaring at you, deeply upset. You'd be bound for a couple days only being untied for necessities like bathing, eating, and bathroom. He'd ignored you only giving you passing glances or untying you.

He wants a family but he doubts it'll go well because of his leprosy. He wants at least 4-5 kids and to live a long life but he knows he only has a couple years left to life. So he will settle with just you by his side and ruling Jerusalem.

He hardly ever gets jealous because no one will ever get close to you. Maybe if you get to close to some of the ladies and your attention is taken up.

If you die he would mourn u til the day he dies. He'll never get over you and he's actually glad he'll die young so he can see you soon. If you escape he'll be crushed and have some of his men search for you. He'll be looking for you til he dies and he'll never get over you.

Yes but in the end he'll block it out and pretend like you wanted him and everything is normal.

Probably childhood. Never truly sharing a bond with anyone but his sister. He's lonely and need someone by his side.

He hates it and will try to soothe you and make you calm down and if that doesn't work he'll give you space.

Yes. He's very fragile because of leprosy. But because of that he will always have guards outside of his room because he knows you'll try to exploit this weakness.

Yes but on accident. You'd get hurt from the ropes he tied you with or accidentally gripping your arm to hard. Nothing serious.

He worship's his darling so much. Like your his everything and he loves you so much. If you treat him the same way he treats you he will literally melt.

He'll long after you for about a year then take you. During that year he'll court you but if you don't return the feelings he has no choice but to take you.

No because he treat's you so good and actually doesn't abuse you like most yandere's would.

Wait, so I've seen a post mentioning that the blood/fleah of bhaal has its effects (is attractive to devils and demons?). So, the question is: do you think Astarion would feel it when drinking from Durge? Would it affect him anyhow, long or short run? Do you think he'd guess that other thinking creatures'/people's blood does not taste or feel like that and chalks it up to Durge "being his first" to drink from so they are kinda special?

Canonical information about vampires and Bhaalspawn is; Undead can sense Bhaalspawn (described as being able to "smell the murder in your heart" in Throne of Bhaal, which is possibly similar to Astarion noting the "irresistible desperation about you.") and they tend to find their blood irresistible (it's the blood of the gods, and so forth). Not much was said about how it feels to drink it, just that it's "sweet" - probably in the metaphorical sense meaning it's pleasant, not in terms of actual taste.

Their blood contains the very essence of murder, and I would guess that vampires are sensing/feeling that very similar divine euphoria that Bhaalspawn feel around murder, or when killing:

"You can hear the screams at night, can't you? You can feel the blood of the murdered, how it flows all around you… a thousand different pains and you're nothing but a solitary echo. Being able to feel/taste the blood and life force of the murdered in the world is probably one hell of a high when those things make up your diet.

There's never been any mechanics, so I doubt it'll have any long-term effect though. I would say no, because saying "yes" would mean I have to think about game mechanics and homebrewing and I'm not in the mood. If there were, it would probably be related to his regeneration ability (which is temporarily disabled due to the tadpole, in-game) since vampires consume blood to maintain their physical form. Animals can sustain vampires less because they have less compatible life-force, humanoid blood is ideal and the blood of the vampire's own race is best... the blood of an immortal might end up doing something weird, I suppose; Bhaal's touch in particular can create or destroy undead as he wills (including creating vampires), it might be down to what Durge feels like doi- wait, I wonder if Bhaalspawn blood could make a spawn a full vampire.

*ahem* Durge sticks out like a sore thumb though; Astarion probably put any weirdness down to Durge being a mysterious oddball rather than anything special about them being the first humanoid he fed on. Nor are they so special that he's not interested in sampling other "boquets".

I could be wrong, but from what I remember, Kazuomi already checked his birth certificate and it was written that his "mother" was his birth mother. However, like he said, his father might have falsified the document. So in the end he couldn't know the truth.

Kazuomi never trusted his father, and I kinda understand, because from what we saw, his father was a shady man, a red flag and a bad husband. Also, can we really call him a father when he didn't fulfill his role as one? No wonder Kazuomi didn't like him 😅

Besides, we know that Kazuomi said he doubted that his "mother" was his real mother because he didn't look like her at all. He is a copy of his father, and thanks god it's only the looks, not the personality 🙏

By the way, my first reaction to this information was : "Kazuomi... You know, in fiction it's quite common to see a son who is the spitting image of his dad. So your mother might really be your mom. Also, I think the possibility that his mother might not be his "real" mother (birth mother) broke his heart even more. Indeed, he checked his birth certificate and he saw on it that his mother was stated to be his actual birth mother, but knowing his father, Kazuomi expected that he falsified the document so that Kazuomi wouldn't learn the truth.

Yeah, his father was barely there for him, as he mostly cared for his business... And I agree that the genetics in otome games are usually quite strong 🤣 Eisuke's sons, except for maybe Kaito who looks a bit like MC, all look like him. I find it so funny to have a mini army of the LI as if we didn't see his face enough 😂 But it's cute in the end.

Also, I do often see this line in Kazuomi's VIP room yes! I feel really bad for him. I can't imagine how much he suffered from not feeling loved by his own family.

My theory about Kazuomi's past

Okay so this is meant to be taken with a grain of salt because I might be overthinking this. This is also going to mention triggering topics similar to Kei's story so avoid reading this if you're not comfortable.

This is only a possibility among many other possibilities, so in a way I hope I'm wrong and I most probably am.

I'm going to assume in this theory that Kazuomi's mother is not his actual birth mother to make it a bit less horrible. There were many ingredients of the story that made me reach a recipe darker than I would have liked, to be perfectly honest 😅

So, we have a woman who is probably not even Kazuomi's mother, completely head over heels with her husband, Kazuomi's father.

Sadly, her husband has many mistresses and doesn't "giver her the time of day". He's often out, and when he does come home on rare occasions, he spends time with shady men and still doesn't care about her.

On the other hand, there's Kazuomi, the child her husband (possibly) had with another woman, who looks exactly like her husband. He's young, naive, yearns for attention and consolation, and vulnerable.

Her husband is often away and she has many opportunities to spend time with Kazuomi.

My brain made me reach a potential conclusion that, and I hope it's not true, it's not impossible that this woman used Kazuomi to satisfy her desires since she was longing for her husband.

But then again, my brain sometimes reaches very dark theories so, again, I'm hoping for something different so my heart could be spared. And if I'm honest there are so many other things we could imagine other than this. I feel kind of bad for putting this thought out there 😢

Even if she didn't use him sexually, at least we know she used him as an emotional replacement, so this theory isn't so far from the truth technically speaking.

Obviously I can't confirm or deny anything for sure but I highly doubt they'll rewrite 4 seasons & multiple devilgrams of current content, specially when that particular story is also still ongoing

Also alternate universes canonically exist in OM! and one of the causes for the existence of an alternate universe is changes in the timeline so there's always the possibility that there'll be two current timelines

As someone who spent years in the DC/Batman fandom where there are so many alternate universes and timelines existing at the same time, here's my advice: absolutely do not take it too seriously. Don't overcomplicate it, just take it for what it is and have fun - chances are the writers aren't really thinking much about the how either and just want to explore a "what if" situation

Honestly, thoughts are all over the place. But thank you so much for asking!!! Here they are as of today:

The Game:

The first 3 chapters - 8/10 I was going to give it a 7.5, because of the repeating dialogue and a few spelling mistakes, but so far, I think it's better written than Seasons 4 and 5- maybe on par with S3 which is a season I really enjoyed. I'm really liking how Amelia seems to be responding to how you treat her, especially if you look at the scripts. Whether or not that will affect her actions remains to be seen.

The MC - 8/10 I gotta say... she's pretty cute. It does take some fiddling to get her the way you want her, and some of her facial expressions make it look like she's had botched lip job, but overall, she's definitely prettier than S4 and S5. (Except your S5 MC ^^ wtf she's so pretty???)

The LIs - 9/10 So far, I'm really liking what I'm seeing. Yeah, some of their dialogue is the same. But I think they're different enough in personality and where it matters that it's not as noticeable as it was in say, Season 4, where James and Bruno shared a whole heap of the same dialogue, but it was clearly written with Bruno in mind, so it just seemed OOC for James. We've got a cocky dancer with a hopeless romantic streak; a golden retriever boyfriend with a soft spot for his Nan; a funny, cheeky skateboarder with a 'why-don't-you-make-me' level of flirt; and also Ryan is there. The personalities are distinct, the character designs are great, I'm really looking forward to finding out more about them

Overall design and concept- 7/10 I gotta say, I'm optimistic. It's starting out really strong for a new season. I get that it's not everyone's cup of tea, as it's a little 'gimmicky', but that's the road Fusebox are going down with the past few seasons. They're not just doing an 'open play' like S1, 2 and 3 where you come in as an OG and play all the way through. 4,5, and 6 are all 'themed', and I think having a twin in the villa is a cool concept that'll be worth exploring. It's been easy in previous seasons to just play for yourself, and say 'fuck these hoes' and just take whatever LI you want. But when it's your own sister, I think it'll make it harder to go after what you want - a moral dilemma with a family flavour. I kinda love it. Plus, if you have an identical twin that's as hot as you are, I doubt this is the first time you've had men confused about which one of you to pick💀

Bella - hot. flawlessly hot. incredible rack. Her character design is absolutely gorgeous, and she is gonna be a fan favourite for sure. She just seems so fun, similar to Cora from S4, but more mature and ready for a romantic relationship. Can't wait to watch her bloom.

Grace - FB I will never forgive you for not making her a LI. I want her, those curves just *chefs kiss*. But honestly, if anyone's gonna be my bestie, I'm feeling it ith Grace. Yeah, she seems to like Ozzy, but she doesn't seem like the type to get her claws in and latch on for dear life a la Kat or Hope. Let's just hope and pray and beg that they're not making a brown girl villain again.

Ivy - I told y'all from the moment I saw her that I didn't trust this bitch. She looks too much like my cousin and my cousin is a backstabbing skank. I'm loving the concept of her though, this super type-A girl who (I almost guarantee) is either going to a) get kicked out early for being too picky, or b) have the most beautiful redemption arc where she ends up with a guy who ticks exactly zero of her boxes but she falls for him anyway. However, given Fusebox's history, I'm gonna predict she's the villain for about 2 days, then gets booted, same as Lexi from S4.

Jamal - Boys with J names 🚩... but honestly he seems nice. He's my backup LI at the moment. I'll see how things go with my #1 and might start again with Jamal instead. I think you're gonna get some wonderfully steamy scenes with this one. He's giving Bobby x Arjun, and that is something that deeply appeals to me. Cheeky, cheeky, cheeky. He's a saucy little minx and he's gonna be trouble, I just know it. Love his design, love his character so far, really happy.

Lewie - I thought he was a little baby-faced to start with, but honestly, I look at him and my brain screams husband. I'm getting Bruno x Gary x Ciaran from this one, and oh dear me, if that's not a combo that makes me swoon IDK what is. Love him so far, he's such a sweetheart but I love a footy lad.

Ozzy - I'm suspicious. I know he's already captured a few peoples' attention, but I was a little dismissive with him and he seemed a bit... red flag-y. Just a little too arrogant, you know? A little too flirtatious for someone who's very aware of how into him Grace is. I did like that he'd never had a one night stand though, although not sure how that meshes with the celebrity he apparently hooked up with in the dance studio? Because in the challenge he said he'd never dated a celebrity, but he also said he's never had a one night stand, so did he have a celebrity FWB????? The stories just aren't adding up to me. I don't trust him. Also his jaw's too sharp. And his flirty face looks like Rocco from S2. This one:

Will you write more Astarion/Karlach/Wyll for the Touches Ask Game? What about #42 for hand-holding ("dragging the other with them, holding their hand")?

"I'm going to fucking melt", Karlach groans, desperately trying to fan herself with one of Astarion's books but the relief it brings is minimal. Gods, she needs some ice cold ale or maybe she needs Astarion to lie on top of her like a living cooling pad.

She doubts that he would indulge her.

"One might think that you'd be less affected by heat than the rest of us", Wyll muses. His beautiful dark skin is gleaming with sweat and Karlach tries very hard not to let her mind wander too much because. That is not on the table at the moment.

"I know right? Fuck Zariel for giving me this stupid engine and it doesn't even make me immune to fucking heat", she says and protests when Astarion pulls the book out of her hand.

"That's expensive, darling", he says, entirely unimpressed by her suffering.

"I'm priceless", she sniffs and Wyll laughs while Astarion raises one perfectly plucked eyebrow at her. There is a twitch in the corner of his mouth though that suggests that he's almost smiling. Karlach loves following the laughter lines on his face when he thinks she's not looking. Or well. Even when he knows she's looking, really.

"Maybe we should just go and take a swim", Wyll suggests and Karlach wants to kiss him.

"Holy fuck, you're a genius", she breathes and goes to hug him. Fuck, they're both so sweaty.

"Oh good. Does that mean I'll get some reading time now?", Astarion asks but Karlach will hear nothing of it.

"No, you're coming with", she proclaims and Astarion blinks at her.

"Uh—", he starts but Karlach is already on the move, grabbing his slender hand with hers and then Wyll with her other hand as she pulls the both of them towards the lake near their camp. How in the nine hells didn't she think of this sooner?

"Skinny dipping", she shouts full of joy and excitement, entirely ignoring Astarion's complains and Wyll's gentle protests about getting naked. It's not like she'll force anyone to undress but fuck, she is going to be so fucking naked. The sun can suck her dick.

When they reach the lake Karlach lets go of her boys' hands and rips off her pants first, then her bra and finally her underwear before turning around to face Wyll and Astarion. Wyll's eyes are very wide and fixed on her face with a look that makes Karlach chuckle.

Fuck, he's so endearing when he's trying to be a perfect gentleman.

Astarion meanwhile has no qualms about looking at her but he still looks as if he's ready to murder her.

"Come on, it'll be fun!", she promises.

"It most certainly will not be", Astarion sniffs. "I'm a vampire, in case you forgot. I can't swim."

Karlach blinks and turns her head to look up at the sun high at the sky before lowering her gaze again only to catch Wyll staring at her tits which makes her feel a rush of delight and excitement. She points up at the scorching summer sun in the sky.

"You sure that swimming is off the table, Fangs? It's pretty sunny and you're totally fine", she says. Astarion huffs.

"Maybe I don't want to tempt fate too much", he says with a dismissive gesture but his eyes wander over Karlach's body as if her being naked is more tempting to him than he lets on.

"Pretty please?", she says and does her best of a puppy eye expression. Maybe this doesn't work as well while she has her tits and dick out, but Wyll at least seems to want to indulge. Karlach tries very hard not to stare when his muscular torso is exposed, revealing the two horizontal scars on his chest and that pretty trail of hair leading into his pants that she keeps staring at while he's wearing his camp clothes.

She can be normal. She can be totally chill about this. And she has to jump into the cold water immediately before her dick gets too excited.

"Last one in the water loses!", she shouts and turns around to run into the water before taking a dive headfirst. Cool silence meets her underneath the surface and man. Yet another awesome thing on this wonderful world. In Avernus she would never have been able to take a swim in a cool lake on a summer day.

When she breaks through the surface she throws her head back and beams, looking to see if Wyll has already followed her. And indeed, his head is floating close by, a soft smile on his face while he watches her.

"That was a pretty great idea", he says and looks pleased with himself. Karlach laughs and splashes him with water before turning her head to look for Astarion who is still standing on the shore of the lake, looking down at his nails as if nothing concerns him.

Patience, Karlach. Patience.

Fuck, she's so bad at patience.

To distract herself from the desperate need to throw Astarion over her shoulder and drag him into the lake she reaches for Wyll, discovering that he is indeed entirely naked.

More patience. Alright. No big deal.

At least she can kiss him so she does, pulling Wyll close while her toes dig into the soft sand on the bottom of the lake. Wyll sighs against her lips and Karlach wishes someone would give her a gold star for not getting a boner right now. She hugs him tight, feeling his naked legs wrap around her waist.

Yup. She can be normal. She can be totally not horny about this.

"Well now you're just both being terribly rude", Astarion complains and Karlach pulls back to look at him over Wyll's shoulder.

"Come in, Fangs", she urges. Astarion huffs.

"I value my life and have no interest in wasting it on a glorified bath that doesn't even have bubbles in it", Astarion says but Karlach is pretty good at reading him by now and she gets that he's scared.

"Be right back", she says to Wyll and kisses him again before detaching from him and walking back onto the shore and towards Astarion who eyes her suspiciously. He doesn't protest when Karlach pulls his white shirt over his head and he allows her to open his pants. She revels in the flush on his cheeks and his stubborn crossing of arms in front of his naked, white chest.

He's much more slender than Wyll and way less hairy and gods, so, so fucking pale in the bright sunlight. Karlach finds him so beautiful she would love nothing more than to fuck him right here by the lake.

But.

Not now.

Now she takes his hand and pulls him towards the water slowly, watches as he stares down at his feet as they touch the surface for the first time. His breath hitches and he blinks before taking another step. He's up to his ankles now.

"See?", she says softly and smiles at him. "I got you."

Astarion glares at her but there's no heat behind it. Wyll joins them and takes his other hand.

"If you let me drown I'll come back to haunt you forever", Astarion warns as he wades in deeper while holding onto both of their hands like a lifeline.

"You're too hot to let you drown", Karlach jokes to give him an opportunity to deflect his fear with flirting and snark like he usually does.

"So true, darling. I'd be a waste of a perfectly handsome vampire", Astarion answers. When he's up to his waist he stops, looking out over the surface as if he's deep in thought and overwhelmed by all the things he can do now that the tadpole has freed him from his former master. Karlach can relate.

"You are so brave", Wyll says softly and presses a kiss to Astarion's temple for which he's immediately splashed with water again. Karlach laughs and allows herself to float on the cool water surface, never letting go of Astarion's hand.

You’re argument is that Gale is a bad friend because he ‘blamed’ Katniss for what she did to survive the games. I’ve read Catching Fire the most in the series, and there are a whopping 0 quotes of Gale doing this. Here’s what the text actually says: “He (Gale) only has his Sundays off, and I think he likes saving for you (Katniss)” and Katniss says “Hunting with Gale is still the best part of my week”. If Gale was blaming Katniss for the games, I don’t think he’d be trying his hardest to spend time for her, and I also doubt Katniss would be happy with him constantly blaming her. But wait! Hunting with Gale is still her best part of her week.

He can't see that.") mockying chapter 17. so yes he was he may never have said it out loud but it's very obvious in his actions that he did blame her and the reason Gail still hung out with her it's probably because they still were trying to feed his family and yes it was still the best part of her week but she said is not the same because of the strain between them and that has a lot to do with him being upset about her being in a fake relationship with Peeta and Peeta at one point blamed her too but the difference is he takes accountability and apologizes for his actions wow gale never does deal doesn't oh and it's not just a blaming he also guilt trips her and manipulate her .

It'll pass.") this is what I'm talking about he literally admitted to making katniss to feel guilty and to kiss him oh and then he complains about her kissing him it's one of my most hated Gale moments because this it's just pure manipulation there's no buts about it he knew how she was going to react feeling to him rejected and feeling like he doesn't have a chance with her romantically and he did it anyway and that to me is gross. here's another example of him being manipulative and blaming katniss.

This is blame. Straight up, Grade A premium blame being put on Katniss because OMG she has strong feelings for someone NOT Gale. This isn’t about her feelings. This is all about him and how he’s been ‘mistreated’ by her. He’s laying all this guilt on her because he can’t handle. I hate that he was making someone else’s pain all about himself. Seriously, your “rival” has been tortured and brainwashed and all you can think about is how this affects you? While your supposed best friend is clearly miserable about this, and all you can do is just add to her emotional turmoil instead of making any kind of attempt at being a supportive friend? I never liked G/K as a ship, but Mockingjay really showed me why I didn’t like them as friends, either. there are other examples of him just being s*****t but I think you get my point.

Alright well no offense but you’re proofs don’t really change my views on shipping Everthorne.

For starters, you stated that Gale blamed Katniss for the games, not the marriage proposal. While the games were a means for survival and Gale knew that, it’s one thing to act like you’re in love with someone for survival than to getting married to someone else. Gale did not know the marriage was staged, so he was literally losing the girl he loved, to the same guy who blew her off for 6 MONTHS. I would be jealous about that too, but you’re also leaving out the crucial details, that Gale still showed up and listened to her talk. When Peeta (who knew the love act was for survival) realized she didn’t actually love him, he refused to even interact with her. For Mockingjay, yeah if would make sense for Gale to be jealous that the girl he loved was kissing someone else. But did he hold it against her? Did he stop taking care of her family because of it? Did he ghost her like Peeta did? No, because he knew that wouldn’t be fair.

For the kiss, the only way you can get that Gale was manipulating her is if you assume Gale cried so Katniss would kiss him. Which if you read the text (Gale, who I have never seen cry before) he was not cried so Katniss would kiss him. He also told Katniss not to worry about him! He wasn’t being an asshole, he was telling her she didn’t have to worry about him.

Lastly, the last quote is legit Gale admitting he knew Katniss had a special relationship with Peeta. Which is true! Best friends are supposed to be honest with each other, I wouldn’t hate a character for speaking his thoughts. And did you forget that Gale risked his life to save Peeta?? Without Gale, he’d still be in the Capital. Also, does Katniss show any signs that she felt guilted? No, no she did not. She kissed him because she wanted a distraction, and Gale stopped her because she wasn’t in the right state of mind. Wow! Such harassment! Letting ur friend go because she’s confused and not pressuring her. You’re right, Gale is such a bad person.

I've read this post about how differently the narrative in this game (Astarion's romance in this case) can change depending on your choices and they are so right about that. Gonna ramble a little about Astarion under the cut.

My experience with Astarion's act 1 romance has this kind of duality in two different playthroughs. In my 1st run I missed a lot of stuff with him that would increase his influence and he ended up proposing to my Tav around the time they found the goblin camp. And then I stalled that until the tiefling party because I like that scene more.

In my 2nd run he propositioned the day after he bit her and it changes the narration soooo much imo.

In the 1st run it really felt like they were getting closer and a tension with affection was building between them. While Astarion's motives are dubious I still felt like he had started to like her.

In the 2nd run though, it's fully about manipulation and using sex to gain Tav's favour. She let him drink from her and supported him. Everyone talks disapprovingly about him being a vampire. Like Gale will question if he's genuine, Wyll disapproves if you let him stay in camp, Shart basically mocks him. So he truly needs Tav to defend him against the others. So what does he do? Offers sex to you for that protection.

In my 2nd run the bite happened on night 3 and he propositioned on day 4.

In my 1st one he wanted to proposition on day 7 right after that Abdirak thing. It made the narrative he was actually turned on by that and by her and protection was an added bonus because he's been with the group for 4 more nights after they learned he was a vampire and it was all good, other than some know it all comments from Wyll. He had no reason to fear the rest of the camp because no one had tried to stake him. So his offer for sex felt a lot more genuine.

I stalled that talk till the day of the tiefling party which was day 10 in my run because I was worried it would break that scene and I was recording those things. And if you got propositioned and agreed to sleep with him after you save the tieflings (so basically right before the party) - he'll ask you with the bottle again and you don't get that choice (I think) to make him say please. He'll just say something like we'll see each other when things quieten down. And the scene plays as it does.

In the 2nd run I got his little treat lines in the tiefling party and it felt so out of place. Because in the 1st one he said that after the scar scene and it pushes the intimacy. Getting it before then solidified the feeling that he was manipulating Tav and using sex to do it.

I have just made it into act 2 in the 2nd run but so far I've caught up with my 1st one. I doubt it'll be different then.

I love love love the fact that such little things can change a run so dramatically.

Okay, starting with a Gengar- a real classic, but it shouldn't affect my- wait. Wait, wait, what does that say?

That's- That's just- goshdangit, this whole chapter is just Xera being haunted by this man one way or another! There's no escaping her mistakes!! GOSH!

Alright, well, another thing…this theme is different from the usual Gym Leader battle theme. Like, I mentioned before how the Gym battles use that Xerneas/Yveltal remix, yeah? Well, this theme sounds similar to that- really similar, in fact, but it's like…remixed and distorted. To make it sound more spOoOoOoky, I suppose?

Anyways, him leading with Gengar doesn't hinder my plans at all, we'll just have Prong use Charge Beam like usual and bring the power back on!

Unfortunately, Shadow Ball did quite a chunk, not helped by Prong's lackluster Sp. Defense. But since it's probably charging up another Shadow Ball, I'll switch in Gash to take it!

And now, he'll finish the job with Night Slash!

Ah- okay, I should have expected Shade's team to have some Electric-type moves to take advantage of Short-Circuit and Factory Fields. Not that it stops Gash.

Aha, there is a Dhelmise! We can keep Obsidian in for this one, she's strong against it on two levels.

Question is, which move would work better here, Fire Fang or Sucker Punch? Hmm…well, Fire Fang has a chance to at least flinch and/or inflict Burn, so I'll take those chances.

I should not have taken those chances, because the chances hate me, we've well-established that fact by now. Alright, let's bring in Gash, then.

I know for a fact he can outspeed a Dhelmise, and with that speed he can finish the job with Night Slash again.

Mimikyu- yeah, shoulda expected that. Disguise is an issue, so…let's send in Riptide, he can take a few hits.

We'll start with Water Gun, just to break the Disguise.

And it's setting up Swords Dance, that's no good!

But with the Disguise broken, we can see how much damage Crunch does-

About half? Not bad- but can Riptide survive whatever attack Mimikyu is about to launch at him?

Just barely, but sadly Mimikyu has a Sitrus Berry, and there's no way Riptide's gonna live another- but that's okay, because it'll give us a clean switch to someone else.

Return to where it all began in this interactive prequel to the very first Five Nights at Freddy's game. You the reader are the Security Guard - and you've got five nights (or is it six?) to survive Freddy, Chica, Bonnie, and Foxy as they try to wipe you out. With over 25 different possible endings and two difficulty settings, this one-of-a-kind, innovative novel is a uniquely entertaining experience for any Freddy fan.

A choose your own adventure book was something I never thought Five Nights at Freddy's would tackle for the franchise. But I'm all for it.

What has my attention is the 25 endings! Like, what!? I'm very eager to get my hands on this book just to see what the endings might be.

The biggest talking point for this upcoming book is what is written in the official description and the obvious subtitle. This book is a prequel to the first Five Nights at Freddy's game. Now this is huge because the previous nightguard before us was Scott Cawthon... I mean Phone Guy.

However, I think this won't be an issue as Phone Guy wasn't really much of a character despite some quirks, he had that made him memorable. He was strictly the tutorial for the player, and he did reveal some important lore. But in the end, he wasn't a character.

So, it makes sense a prequel story written in the style of a choose your own adventure really works for him. While I never read one before, I think they are mostly written to be from the reader's perspective, so it feels like you are on the adventure.

So, we might not get a whole lot of insight to Phone Guy in this book. One thing I do want to mention is his fate. Dead... we know he dies when reaching Night 4 of the game. So, even with the 25 endings which I'm sure some have him surviving. But canonically he dies. No doubt this has some people asking what's the point of the book then.

My answer is to that is... who cares. Not like it's going to affect the canon of the games. We're passed the Afton story.

I'm going to enjoy this book when it comes out as it'll be the first book of this style of writing I'll be introduced to.

oh golly, technically Frankincense & Myrrh (The Arcana, Muriel x Apprentice OC). bc it's 1) unfinished and 2) will deal with a lot of the post-resurrection trauma Tamar (my Apprentice) will go through. it'll still be fluffy and more comfort than hurt if i ever get back into it, but man i really miss seeing her go through it.

i'd have to say dialogue and my attempts to make the stakes believable

(actually writing lol) in all seriousness, taking the time to string together the little story pearls i come up with. i burn myself out sometimes and end up not writing anything.

i enjoy seeing it! what i don't like is people going "lol no hate on my google translate spanish/whatever language" (mostly when the language is poorly applied) bc we not only have the technology/better websites to use, but real people online willing to assist with translating/contextualizing. if you're going to do it, give it its due diligence. fingers crossed i can follow my own directive on that.

what if its about radicalization and the beguinings of the revolution? its the 50th hunger games. it marks a moment in time. 50 years. and to top it off the capitol takes 4 kids instead of the usual 2. that would radicalize me tbh idk about you

but also 24 years before katniss' games means most of the adults in that story are alive and young. ready to be radicalized. to be defined by the brutality haymich lives and survives.

i want to see a story about plutarch and coin/district 13. about maybe tigress or other capitol people coming to terms with what the hunger games mean, what they are and what theyll be. they've been going for 50 years no, and theyre not stopping. about district 13 finishing their reconstruction and preparing for war. even about snow idk. about how haymitch's defiance affects him, maybe how it affects the gamemakers of his games. maybe we have another ceneca?

there so much going on around these games if you think about it. so much churning and cooking, so many setups for the 74th and 75th hunger games god i cannot wait to read it whatever suzanne has planned is about to be epic

The chip digs into your skin, it's painful and clearly not meant for you. Despite this the chip makes you more relaxed. Even if your genetic makeup was not meant for the device.

"There we go! I've chased you through so many dimensions just to find you. I know this device isn't meant for you, as you're not a Morty, but it'll be fine."

You flinch away when he brushes a finger against the chip on your neck. You hated how its tech dug into you, attaching to your nervous system. It sent a chemical into your brain to get you to obey him, at least that's what you understood.

"This keeps you docile and unable to run away until I remove it. Which I don't plan on anytime soon."

You give him a fearful look and shake your head.

"No, please, I need to go home-"

"Your home is with me now. According to this chip, you're registered as mine."

He teases you, ruffling your hair.

"Just look at you! You're perfect! Better than any Morty I could've caught...."

"You're insane and delusional-"

"Too bad the chip doesn't affect your speech... although-"

He grins at you, his behavior seems malicious.

"You'll listen to any command I give you. For example... follow me."

The Rick walks away from you, you stay put. Until the chip in the back of your neck blinks and buzzes. You feel pain in your neck and cry out before following Rick's movement. Anything to get the pain to stop....

"See? You're as obedient as a pet! Cute, too."

"Shut up...."

"We really need to work on your sass."

"Would you rather I use harsher words?"

"Sit."

The chip buzzes and blinks again, forcing you to your knees in front of the Rick. You groan, staying on the ground just to get the pain to stop. You hated this.

You had essentially been kidnapped, chipped with a device to make you behave, and treated as less than human. He took you everywhere. People could clearly see you weren't a Morty, yet they never commented.

"Wow, I'm going to have fun with this."

The Rick smiles at you, trying to appear as warm and welcoming. He wasn't, not with that getup and him forcing you to do tasks. You're happy he hasn't forced you to fight, at least....

"Alright. Get up and stay close. We got other dimensions to go to."

Anticipating the chip acting up, you get up on your feet and follow the Rick. You aren't that close to him, much to his annoyance.

"Closer, (Y/N)."

The chip buzzes and you're right next to him. You try to keep calm when you feel his arm around your waist, encouraging you closer.

"Can't have you getting lost, someone may take you."

You hate how close he forces you to his chest while you walk. A portal is summoned by him and he turns to you. The look in his eyes is dark and you feel him tap the chip again.

A reminder of how helpless you were.

"Won't you be a good pet for me?"

It's then he drags you through the green portal, against your will. You doubt you'll ever see your home again.... Not until he's caught by the authorities, at least.

I was going through some old game files for The Hedge Witch and stumbled across a hedge witch guide and recipes that I created which was originally going to be used in the Choice Script version of the game 😅 I thought I'd share them with you, considering they won't be added to the Twine version. Yes, I had way too much time on my hands when I wrote these 😂

I've added the deleted scenes under the cut because it is quite a long read. Please do not try the recipes - they are all made up and will probably poison you.

An Introduction to Hedge Magic Welcome young hedge witch to the 4th edition of A Hedge Witch's Encyclopaedic Guide to Magic. In this book, you'll learn the basic concepts of casting your spells, making those herby potions and hexing those who displease you. Remember, hexing is reserved for those that are very dastardly. Any abuse of hexing should be reported to your local hedge witch society.

Spellcasting: Spellcasting is necessary when you decide to become a hedge witch. Every good hedge witch should know a few basic spells, including the all important healing spell. When casting your spells, make sure to use the exact measurements for ingredients. Anything more or less or even using the wrong ingredients can result in catastrophic results. Pronunciation of incantations are of utmost importance. If a syllable is stressed for too long, it will affect the nature of your spells. Particularly strong hedge witches do not need to incant spells when spellcasting. Never cast a spell if you're unsure in your abilities as a spellcaster. A good hedge witch knows not to cast a spell without proper preparation and knowledge. Always ask your mentor for help if you're ever in doubt!

Potions: Potions are the very reason that we, hedge witches, exist. From herbal tinctures to soothe nausea to bitter concoctions to cure the cold, potions are one of the oldest form of a hedge witch's magic. When creating potions, always make sure to have a clean workspace and that all ingredients and properly prepared. Using a dried out herb when a recipe calls for fresh herbs could result in incurable illness, vomiting and even death. If you suspect a hedge witch of making sub-par potions, it is your duty to report them to your local hedge witch society!

Hexes: Hexing another requires a strong mind of a hedge witch. While not illegal, hexing by a hedge witch is limited to extreme cases including hexing to stop disaster, hexing to stop death and hexing to stop anyone standing in the way of the greater good. All hedge witches that wish to hex freely must be authorised to do so by their local hedge witch society. Hexing for entertainment purposes, for laughs or just out of sheer boredom is forbidden and any hedge witch caught violating this rule will have their powers revoked.

Recipes from your Mentor: Dear Apprentice, as promised, here is a list of fun recipes that I picked up along my travels. Some are strictly for your familiar - use them at your own risk! My personal favourite is a Seelie dish called honeyed truffles. Make sure to feed yourself every now and then, even a hedge witch needs to eat.

Honeyed truffles: Honeyed truffles are a delicacy favoured by the Seelie Court. Both sweet and meaty, this dish serves as an excellent starter or appetiser at fae gatherings. It takes no more than a sun's wink to cook and it'll boost your reputation as a great cook! To make this dish, you will need the following ingredients: 2 cups of finely diced pixie truffles. 50ml of Seelie bee honey. 80g of holly leaves. 1 tsp of selkie salt. 5g of star anise. Method: Lightly fry the pixie truffles in a wide pan. Once the truffles have been evenly fried, add in the Seelie bee honey and mix together until the truffles are completely coated. Fry the mixture for around 5 minutes to let the honey seep into the truffles. Lastly, add selkie salt for taste and both the holly leaves and star anise to give your truffles an extra kick to it. Braise your truffles until the mixture is thick and gooey. Once done, enjoy it with a cup of tea!

Spiced Snow: Spiced snow is a popular dish in the Unseelie Court that has recently risen to popularity in the Seelie Court. A spicy bite, this treat is excellent to serve on a hot, summer's day or for dessert. This dish takes at least half a day to make, so make sure you're fully prepared for the hard work and patience you will need to make this dish. To make this dish, you will need the following ingredients: 150ml of spring water. 2 tsp of dragon fire. 1 bottle of a freeze-now potion. 3 tsp of toad slime. 20g of sparrow tongue or sugared ginger. Method: Mix the dragon fire into the spring water until the water turns a dark shade of red. Depending on the dragon fire you use, shades of red will vary from mixture to mixture. Once fully diluted, add the toad slime to give the mixture a thicker consistency. Stir it until you're happy with the consistency. The more you stir, the thinner the consistency will be. If you prefer thicker spiced snow, stir in the toad slime only until it's diluted partially. Once the ingredients are mixed, use the freeze-now potion to instantly freeze the mixture. The spiced snow is now ready to eat! For an extra crunch, you can add in lightly fried sparrow tongue or sugared ginger to the top of your serving.

Fae Wine: Fae wine is a type of drink that is consumed by both fae and mortal alike! While toxic in large quantities to many mortals, fae wine is still a sought after drink in the mortal realm. Fae wine is a great drink to bring when you're attending a faery ring soiree, just make sure to drink it in moderation! Fae wine takes at least seven moons to properly brew, but you can skip this wait by enlisting the aid of a mortal-portal to distort time. You will need the following ingredients: 500l of juniper berry juice. 250ml of poison ivy juice. 250ml of goblin spittle. 300ml of asrais essence. 50g of black cherries. Method: Pour in juniper berry juice into a large pitcher and slowly stir in the poison ivy juice until fully diluted. Once diluted, let the mixture set for two sleeps of a pixie's flutter. The mixture should now be a deep red and have a strong, acidic aroma. Now, add in the goblin spittle, making sure to stir it until the mixture has thickened slightly. Lastly, add in asrais essence. Once everything is mixed, put your pitcher in an ice bank or river to set for seven moons. You can skip this if you make use of a mortal-portal. Holding the pitcher, walk through the portal for seven times until your mixture is a deep red and the texture is runny and thin. You can now add in your black cherries for an extra garnish. Your fae wine is now ready to drink! Remember to drink responsibly.

Sabbath Stew: It's always time for Sabbath stew in any fae home. A popular dish especially in those winter months, Sabbath stew will offer you the heartiness of the nutritions you need to keep you strong on those cold nights. Sabbath stew is fairly simple to make and takes no more than a flower's bloom to make. And the best part? You can add in as many ingredients as you want. For this recipe, we'll provide you with a base recipe which you can tweak to your liking. You will need the following ingredients: 750ml of spiced broth. 50g of redcap mushrooms. 50g of starchy potatoes. 100g of pickled yams. 2 tsp of wart's eye. 8g of garlic cloves. Method: First, pour in the spiced broth into a large cauldron. Make sure to heat your fire until the spiced broth is bubbling. You can find spiced broth in your local fae bazaar or you can make your own by adding cinnamon, chilli and pepper to 750ml of spring water. Once your broth is bubbling, you can start adding in your vegetables. Let them simmer for a few minutes and when the vegetables are partially cooked, start adding in your wart's eye and garlic cloves. Remember, you can add in more vegetables if you want and even add in some meaty ingredients if you're so inclined! Let the stew broil until the broth has reduced into a thick mixture. It's now ready to eat!

Familiar's Lunch: Do you have a familiar? Are you planning on getting a familiar? Then this recipe is for you! Familiar's lunch is a chef-made dish that was requested by the Seelie Queen herself for her very own familiar. Created to strengthen the bonds between an owner and familiar, Familiar's Lunch contains all the goodness to replenish your familiar's essence and takes as long as a hop in the woods to make. You will need the following ingredients: 10g of hound fur. 3 tsp of eye of newt. 2 sphinx claws. 5g of crushed alder. 20g roasted almonds. 500ml kelpie water. 1 tsp of sea salt. Method: Lightly fry the eye of newt and crushed alder together. Once it reaches a light golden hue, add in the almonds and kelpie water and simmer for a few minutes. Gently, add in and stir the hound fur to the pan. Make sure to stir thoroughly so that the hound fur dissolves properly. Add in the salt and sphinx claws for seasoning and bring the mixture to a slow simmer. Once all ingredients have been cooked, you can serve Familiar's Lunch as a side to your familiar's regular lunch or as a gravy.
