Have you ever heard of the Secret Life of Candace? Aka best mermaid au ever? GUESS WHO WROTE IT?

I have been in the Phineas and Ferb fandom for over a decade - writing fics for it for 12 years, can y'all believe that? I'm one of the oldest "original" fandom members left on AO3, which is actually insane.

And to this day the things I love about the show have shifted a little - favorite characters, favorite tropes, ships, etc. Nothing drastic, but anyone who's been following me since the beginning has definitely seen those changes.

But the thing I have always loved most about this fandom IS the fandom. The PnF fandom is one of the most wholesome fandoms I've ever been in, and it's the reason it's one of the only fandoms I still interact with. Sure, there's been drama, and sometimes we don't all agree - no fandom will ever always agree on everything (if they do....run)

Overall tho this fandom is so kind and wonderful, and given how small we are, we are still obnoxiously loud about this show 😂 I love us for that

Regardless if I win or lose (and if I lose, I'm honored to go down to someone like @/inators, who is a very kind person and has a big presence in the fandom), I wanted to say thank y'all for getting me this far

how long have you had your writing tumblr/writeblr? a fast and loose estimate is fine!

It's been at least 6 months or more I believe.

what led you to create it?

I actually had it from before but i never really posted anything. The thought that there might be people willing to read my works more than my own family and friends led me to create it. I was done shying away.

what's your favourite thing about the writeblr community?

I absolutely adore the supportive and inclusive nature of the writeblr community! It's a space where writers from diverse backgrounds and genres come together to share their passion for storytelling. I love how everyone encourages and uplifts each other, offering constructive feedback and celebrating each other's successes. The community's enthusiasm is infectious, and it motivates me to keep writing and improving my craft. I also appreciate the wealth of resources and knowledge shared within the community, from writing tips and prompts to editing advice and publishing insights. It's amazing to see how writers willingly share their expertise and experiences to help others grow. Most of all, I cherish the sense of belonging and connection that comes with being part of this community. Writeblr feels like a virtual writing group, where we can discuss our projects, share our struggles, and rejoice in our triumphs together

which wips or writing projects are you noodling about, lately?

Very wrong question lol. I've been going back and forth between my WIPs. But the most recent one I've done, or am thinking about is The Masque of Murder .

how long have you been working on them?

Hahaha.... Since months, years and i still haven't even written a chapter for some of them. I hate myself for that. But since The Masque of Murder is recent, it's been a week or so.

do you remember what inspired them/ what got you started?

Yeah i remember reading a manhwa which had this crazy but mad genius doctor as a minor villan. It got me thinking that it was a waste of his abilities and damn good looks and he would have been surely protected by the plot armour had he been the main character instead. This forced me into making it lol.

how much time, in your best estimation, do you spend thinking about them?

🎵Every hour, every minute, every second. And night after night, I'll thinking 'bout you right, 7 days a week.🎶

Uh... every single one of them? I created everyone, if that's what you're asking haha.. I'm not sure if i understand it correctly but i created everyone on my own. I'll mention the one that comes to my mind first then.

Side character- Emrys from In The Silence, Strength

Protagonist- Dr. Phineas Abel Thorncroft from The Masque Of Murder

Antagonist- Dante from Beyond The Pages (but he is also the protagonist)

Hahaha... sometimes..

how much control do you feel you have over your characters? do they ever "write themselves," refuse to cooperate, or do things you didn't expect? to what degree? are some less cooperative than others?

I feel like i have 70% control and 30% is something they do it themselves because i give them the freedom to do so. Because that is the story of my character and not of me, even if I am the one who wrote it. Sometimes the decision i make for them is not what they'd do.

do you enjoy people asking questions about your characters? and do you have a preferred means of receiving said questions? for example, as asks, as replies, as reblogs, as tag notes, as comments on ao3, etc.

I take time scoping out the blog to make sure i align with it's content. And i follow based on both, wips and vibes but mostly vibes.

HI. HELLO. I said a while ago that I REALLY wanted to compare up my favourite shows cuz they're both SOOO undderated and here that is

A COMPARISON BETWEEN MILO MURPHY'S LAW AND STRANGE HILL HIGH

First.. I feel I need to introduce both shows

MML

If you didn't know.. it's made by the creators of and takes place in the same universe as phineas and ferb (it has a crossover too !!).. but as its own show, its SO unique. It follows a boy called milo who suffers from a family curse called Murphy's Law (anything that can go wrong, will go wrong) and his adventures with his friends !! Most of the episodes are just like general shenanigans that follow milo but it does have a plot that is introduced later on :) Also, because its made by the creators of pnf, its got the same humour .. it's really funny

CHARACTERS

The main trio are milo murphy, zack underwood and Melissa chase (in that order on the picture below) and they have a ... pretty standard TV trio dynamic, BUT all of the characters are SO fun and likeable!! Like, for instance, zack was in a regionally famous boyband and other fun things like that :)

Remember how I said there's a plot introduced later.. yeah, well it's basically created by these geezers (dakota and Cavendish, in that order on the photo below) who are introduced as time travellers set out to save pistachios. They're really funny and also voiced by the shows creators (or the same vas as doofenshmirtz and major monogram). They also REALLY remind me of me and my best friend, which means like ... nothing if you aren't us, but if you have a similar dynamic, it's SO fun to see

I dont want to spoil the plot much at all but the first season is about time traveland the second is space travel. If I'm honest the 2nd season.. isn't great cuz they made doofenshmirtz a main character but plot wise its still fun (season 1 is amazing tho still nothing tops it to me) so here's a picture from missing milo (one of the main plot episodes in s1)

I'm gonna be so fr.. I've watched this show since release but have like 0 fandom interactions with it (thats a lie actually i have like 10 but thats not the point) so idk how much introducing it needs (still any is too little to me. imo this show should be standard watching for everyone) so anyway... the show doesn't rlly have a PLOT like all the episodes are stand alone, buutt it does mostly follow Mitchell as he starts at strange hill high and all the insane things that happen there (idk how to explain it cuz of how different every epiosde is but its SO good pls trust me). Its also fully posted on YouTube cuz it's like.. old and cancelled or smth so that's always good (not the cancelled bit tho lol)

CHARACTERS

Just like mml, shh also follows a main trio and has a great side cast. It's trio is becky butters, Templeton and Mitchell tanner (in that order below) and again have a .. pretty standard trio dynamic BUT more like the kind of British TV drama dynamic (.. cuz its set in a british secondary school). I LOVE these geezers SO much and they're just that kind of cast that to this day, I still don't know which one I'm more like

Because its not got a plot to vaguely explain, I'm going to tell you about my favourite episode 99 things to do with a time machine. It's one of my FAVOURITE episodes from any show ever. I love it. (I think it was also the first shh episode i watched cuz i watched it live on tv first before like.. downloading the whole show in 4 different places). The premise of the episode is that the gang is late for school so Mitchell decides to change the school clock so it doesn't LOOK like they're late. This actually turns back time and they abuse the hell out of this. Here's an image.

NOW TO THE COMPARISON!!

Ahhh.. this is like the MAIN bit but for 2 shows that are like permanently engraved in my brain its actually challenging me sm to compare them up like this. Why? No clue. Getting people to watch both is literally what I set out to to lmao

Shenanigans

Like I said, most of mml and ALL of shh basically revolve around whatever shenanigans the trio are doing. In mml they're very much unintentional cuz of murphy's law and the episode normally involves doing whatever to overcome the damage. This is more like the opposite for shh. The trio normally end up discovering smth wild going on in their school and mess about with whatever it is. Two examples I chose for this is mmls athledecamathalon, where the pitch gets destroyed and milo helps his sport team win, and sshs first episode, king Mitchell, where the gang discover a Knight who serves mitchell

These aren't exactly the CLOSEST comparisons I could make .. but you get the idea. VIBE wise they are VERY similar

SETTING

I also want to talk about the setting. Mml takes place all round danville (at different time periods too) and then a planet called octalia by the end of s2. Shh takes place EXCLUSIVELY in the school .. cuz it's puppetry and yk theyd have to actually BUILD a set

CONCLUSION

Ngl tumblr ate the rest of my essay. Twice. (Probably served me right for not having a backup but oh well) and it's kinda annoyed me. I promise you they're so similar is vibe PLEASE watch them both they're great

This is hard because I always struggle to rank things I like. It's usually more of a "hey, I like all these things, and I prefer some aspects of them than others." So these lists are not in order of preference, and I won't always be doing 5 of each because I feel bad about picking favourites 😂

How to Train Your Dragon - excellent cinema, why are they adapting it. please don't ruin it.

Back to the future - c'mon, it's iconic

Tangled - The disney movie I return to the most

Spiderman far from home - MJ and Peter are just the sweetest in this one

The Princess Diaries - both movies are amazing, but I do prefer the second. I feel like Julie Andrews is my third grandmother because of these movies.

Series (movies? books? shows? I'm not sure so I'll just go with shows.):

Phineas and Ferb is always a fun time.

Miraculous Ladybug is sick and pathetic and terrible but I still thoroughly enjoy it.

H2o: Just add water, baby.

And yes, I do enjoy shows besides kids shows, these are just more fun to talk about 😄

I like K-dramas, some of my favourites are W: two worlds, Exxtraordinary You, Legend of the Blue Sea and Crash Landing on You.

Singers (I'm not sure if you mean singers as in my favourite muscial artists, or who I actually think are the best singers. I will do both.)

I love Dodie Clark's music and songwriting, although she isn't the strongest singer.

Laufey, Marina, Mitski, Taylor, Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood can be super fun.

Julie Andrews was such a gorgeous soprano, as was Marni Nixon and the other contemporaries of that time.

And speaking of musical theatre, Ramin Karimloo, Philippa Soo and Lea Salonga are brilliant.

For male singers, those Korean boys have some great vocals.

Books:

The Anne of Green Gables series. Often when I mention this series people say "oh yeah, I read the whole series! The four books are so cute." The full series is actually 11 books and I only know of a few people that dedicated themself to reading all of them because I'm telling you--some parts draaaggg. But I still really love this series and I always get sad when I see the references L.M Montgomery put in reflecting her own life which was much sadder than Anne's. Anne and Gilbert will always be my favourite enemies to lovers ship and when she rejects him and only realises she loves him when he's dying? Impeccable. Plus the eternal classic, "I don't want sunbursts or marble halls. I just want you." 😭 Gorgeous. The last few chapters of Anne of Ingleside are so good, the reminder that even after decades Gilbert still loves her is so sweet.

The Hunger Games is by far the best piece of dystopian YA literature. Suzanne explores themes in way that informs the way we now consume media. Every time I see a media circus against the backdrop of war and brutality I am reminded of Katniss. The series does loose points for me in that I find the love triangle boring, but I can see why it was included.

I recently reread the Percy Jackson series and while some parts are a bit too kiddy for me, I still love Rick's character depictions. Percy is such an interesting, layered character, and when people say it's impossible for men to write an authentic female character, I point to Annabeth Chase. Rick wrote her as a person, not just the female love interest.

Another book series I like, I'm not sure if I've mentioned it before, is The Lunar Chronicles🙂

1. ough… i am like really really bad at watching tv shows by myself. like every show ive ever finished or made it anywhere into ive watched with people, either in person or through. what the fuck was that website called. teleparty/netflix party? i do love a communal watch… if anyone ever wants to watch a show or movie together… god knows i’ll never watch anything without. ANYWAYS. loved monarch: legacy of monsters for the like. three generations of weird triad relationships and the nonlinear story telling. but that’s probs recency bias… everything else coming to mind i literally never finished this is so bad. ted lasso i still haven’t seen s3, stranger things my ex and i broke up before we finished watching it together, i watched a bunch of big mouth during covid but i wouldn’t really call it a fave lol. can i say phineas and ferb? its childish but phineas and ferb.

2. oooooo ok so when i go back to my parents’ there are Three meals i always get. pasta w zucchini and ricotta cheese (i don’t super know how to explain this one w/o just doling out the recipe), fresh pesto and pasta, and curry shrimp couscous and green beans. i make the two pasta dishes regularly bc they are very easy and good cold leftovers. i am trying to make the curry shrimp some time this week but i have never made that one by myself lol.

If you're dealing with burnout and the stress of day to day life, please focus on your mental health before anything else. Your art can wait, but not finding healthy coping mechanism can impact your health by a lot. I like your art but I wouldn't feel good about it if it costs you your already depleted mental health.

Thanks, it's not me forcing the art, I just... miss it. I miss that my favourite hobby that brings me so much joy has become a struggle. I hate that I'm in a situation where the thing I used to say was as much a part of me as my arm isn't working. I used to say I was like Phineas and inventing- It came to mw like breathing; it made me the happiest.

Not being able to draw when it's that ingrained into my person is really devastating.

They don't tell you that when you draw every single day with the passion that i had, that when you find yourself unable to do so it feels like a piece of you is broken.

I'm terrified it won't come back.

I'm tired of veins burnt out and stressed and exhausted all the time both mentally and physically.

1. Please state your full name and occupation.

“My name is Phineas Morgan, but you can call me Finn. I’m a teaching assistant for Dr. Nichols, and I’m pursuing my master’s in classic and romantic literature.”

2. Tell us a little bit about yourself.

“Well…I like to read, obviously. I’m probably in the middle of about six different books right now, not including the ones for my studies, so obviously I’m great at commitment. But to my credit, I’ve got four dogs, and I think at least three of them love me. Um…I’m an orphan, which I guess makes me mysterious to some people. Oh and of course the obvious thing - I’ve got albinism. Just in case you were concerned, I do always look like this.”

3. How would you describe your childhood?

“In a word? Chaotic. Of what I can talk about comfortably, most is still sort of jumbled for me. I entered the foster system when I was 9, and I was pretty fortunate for a while before things got bad. I was displaced three times, which is less than the usual by a long shot. But most of my memories are either jumbled and confusing or just outright unpleasant to recall. Nothing was stable. It was…difficult. Chaotic.”

4. When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?

“An attorney, like my dad.”

5. Do you have any role models? Tell us a little bit about them.

“My partner Emmanuel’s father is probably one of the best people I know. He’s incredible. He looked out for me when I was a kid even though he didn’t have to. He still does. He’s hilarious and sweet, always trying to help people even when they don’t deserve it. And he can grow anything, anywhere. He texted me a picture the other day of like twenty cucumbers on his kitchen table with a bunch of emojis and the words ‘LOS PEPINOS’ in all caps.” (laughs) “He’s a gem. I love that man.”

6. Are you introverted or extroverted? Why?

“I guess you could say I’m more introverted but I can achieve extraversion pretty well when I need to, like when I’m teaching. As for why…growing up in foster and group homes it’s kind of dangerous to stand out. You just keep to yourself, you don’t know who’s safe. So I guess that’s a reason. But I really think it’s just because my nose is stuck in a book half the time. I usually prefer to listen over speaking in general, too. Easier to learn that way.”

7. How would you describe yourself in three words?

“Academic. Romantic. Cautious.”

8. What do you like to do for fun?

“You’re not gonna believe this, but I like to read.” (laughs) “But I enjoy watching movies too, and spending time with my partners. I like taking my dogs to the park or on hikes, as well, weather permitting.”

9. What's your greatest achievement? Why do you consider this your greatest achievement?

10. What's your biggest goal? How do you hope to achieve this?

“Big goals are hard for me. Right now the biggest goal I have is to graduate. Which I’m on track to do so…that’s good.”

11. What does your dream room/house look like? Would you mind showing some inspiration pictures?

“Ah, I don’t really have an exact layout idea. But I would love a cozy home with a little library and a yard for the dogs. And definitely a king bed. A nice rustic kitchen for Vi and E to cook in. But nothing flashy or massive. Just enough space to spread out a little. To be comfortable in a place to call my own.”

12. How would you describe your style?

“Practical for sure. Academic. I like to be comfortable but presentable. Being able to pick my own clothes was kind of a big deal for me and I went a little crazy at first before I found my style . I’m just glad I figured it out before long. You should have seen me when I was 18…far too much argyle for one man…”

13. What's your favorite song?

“Currently anything from Unreal Unearth. But Bowie’s Life On Mars? is always a favourite of mine.”

14. Where are you happiest?

“When I’m with my partners and dogs. When we cuddle up on the couch at night and I’ve got limbs and paws digging into me…it sounds uncomfortable but I’ve never been happier than when I’m sweaty and crampy and squished into a couch corner like that. It’s my favourite place to be.”

15. Who is the most important person in your life? Why?

“I have two people. Emmanuel and Violet. I love them with every part of my soul. I can’t imagine what life was like without them. I don’t want it.”

16. Do you believe in soulmates? Why or why not?

“Yes. Because I found them.”

17. Have you ever been in love?

“Many times. All the time. I’m in love with my partners. But I’m in love with Gatsby too, you know? I’m in love with Jane Eyre and Sir Gawain. I fell in love with Violet like I fell in love with Zelda Fitzgerald. I fell for Emmanuel like I fell for Alexandre Dumas. Every time I’m with them I’m in love all over again, every time I read beautiful prose I’m falling in it. It’s hard sometimes to be falling that often, but it gives the grey things in my life some colour.”

18. Have you ever been kissed?

“And then some.”

19. Describe an average day in your life.

“Wake up, take out the dogs and feed them breakfast, black tea, then shower and prep for my lectures. Do that, then office hours, lunch, classes, and then it’s pretty much dependent on what E and Vi want to do. We try to eat dinner together every night at the least, or we’ll do homework or study nights in the library rooms during busy weeks.”

20. Describe your nighttime routine.

“After dinner with them I’ll come home and take care of the dogs again. If E and Vi come over we’ll usually talk or play a game or watch something until we turn in. And if none of us get handsy I’ll usually be the last to fall asleep. But if I’m alone, I’ll read or do some more prep work if I need to, or just watch TV until I’m ready for bed. I drink a nightly cocktail of medicinal tea with CBD and some other stuff in it to help me sleep, so I’ll do that about thirty minutes before bed. Then I’ll take the dogs out and do my skincare and it’s lights out.”

21) Tell me about another writer(s) who you admire? What is it about them that you admire?

Oh gosh, where do I start?

Possibilist, the author of some of my absolute favorite Faberry (Quinn Fabray/Rachel Berry from Glee) fanfiction, is one of my biggest inspirations as far as prose and utilization of language goes.

Francesca Lia Block has a similarly sumptuous command of the English language. The sheer imagery crafted by her choice of words is decadent, hypnotic, and awe-inspiring.

Antoine de Saint-Exupéry and Margery Hamilton's works (The Little Prince and The Velveteen Rabbit, respectively) possess a beautiful wisdom and melancholy sort of magic that grip my heart in a vise every time I revisit them.

As far as Barlyle (Phineas Taylor Barnum/Phillip Carlye, my OTP of OTPs) stories go, there's--

SilverLynxx, for her enviable lexicon.

BuddysImpala, for her sheer dedication and the number of creative and vastly different fics she was able to turn out.

Schizanthus, for running an amazing blog while also being a human thesaurus and dictionary, and the best proofreader a writer could ask for.

The_Girl_Who_Got_Tired_of_Waiting; a truly wonderful friend and imaginative storyteller with an incredible grasp on these characters whom I fervently wish had the time to write more.

And, I can't forget jackpip and Vudonn and gay_jeans and wolfzaa and Kibbers and so many others who made the Barlyle fanfiction landscape the magical place it was during its heyday.

There's also hollycomb with her cozy, down to earth style of fic-writing. Under the Table and Dreaming is far and away my favorite in her catalogue.

And, before this answer completely gets away from me, as it's already begun to, I would be remiss if I didn't include DutchXFan for the indescribable charm and carved-irreparably-into-my-soul candid rawness of her work Once Upon a Time, and The_Blonde who, despite writing Real Person Shipping fics, possesses the uncanny ability to draw me into every universe they create and leave me utterly spellbound and earnestly devouring every word. just once to be lifted strong and i'm half-doomed and you're semi-sweet are two sublime examples that I highly, highly, highly recommend giving a read if you can surpass the ick factor of them featuring a cast of real people as the central characters. The world-building, alone, is absolutely exemplary.

Greetings From Witness Protection! - Jake Burt (middle grade): An orphan with kleptomania is tossed into a family running from the nation's most notorious criminals. She has to keep her new family, and herself, safe, but threats are always close behind, and one slip up could cost them their lives.

It's a fun, sweet novel with characters that I personally love. If you like found family, give this a read

Orbiting Jupiter - Gary Schmidt (YA/middle grade): I AM TAKING DAMAGE. A family takes in a traumatized 13-14 year old boy named Joseph, who has a bit of a criminal record, and a daughter that he's never even seen. Joseph wants to see her more than anything, but how much will it take to find her?

The story is told by his new younger brother and Joseph's only(?) friend. It's a fairly short read (<200 pages + large font). I love the writing style, the characters... yeah I really liked this one

This Savage Song/Our Dark Duet - V.E. Schwab (YA): A city divided and overrun with monsters. The daughter of a harsh ruler that vows to destroy the shadows and a monster that lurks in it. They have opposing goals, opposing backgrounds, but the city is dangerous all the same, and they share a common goal: they want to survive.

y'all know I love V.E. Schwab!! The first book does NOT focus on romance AT ALL which is great! The second book does have a little romance in it, but it's not the main focus of the story. If you're gonna read v.e. schwab's books I suggest starting with these two because. reasons. but yeah it's pretty tense and a bit sad. Nico read this one too, and he said "It's really good but so fucked up. I'm never reading it again"

bonus book rec: A Darker Shade Of Magic - V.E. Schwab (YA): I have DEFINITELY not gotten far enough into this book to give it any sort of proper review, but it's a fantasy trilogy about three parallel Londons and the Antari that can travel between them. I'm including it here because even though I haven't really read it, everyone who has tells me it's AMAZING, and that monsters of verity (prev rec) pales in comparison.

If your OCs have a story quest just like in Genshin or HSR

What would it be about and would it need more than 1 part or not?

I have a lot of ideas for my ocs and their story quest but is hard to put it into worlds since it tends to be all over the place but hmmm~

-Phineas (Solsticea ver):-

Phineas’ story quest is kinda fun for me cuz it take place during a big event he was hosting until- BAM!! OH NO! AN UNSPEAKABLE CRIME HAD OCCURRED!!! What that? The place is under locked down me nobody is allowed to leave until the case is solved?…. Yeah you can already tell this is one kind of crime/murder mystery Phineas decided to have in his event in secret without telling the guest, yet ppl seem to know that and yet play along except you who thought it was all real lol

-Flynn (Solsticea ver):-

Something to note here, the Flynn in my world is an adult unlike the idv one, also it kinda play as the opposite of Phineas’s story, where you met Flynn in a party hosted by a noble and all seem to be going great and normal… although you can not help but notice that Flynn seem to be on to something and you later find out he is investigating some kind of horrific crime related to the noble family that is hosting this party and is up to you and Flynn to put a stop to it without dragging too much attention.

- Alexander:-

I feel Alexander quest can actually be chill, more of you getting to know him more closely and see he is not just some kind of important figure in the city and you should respect him and all that jazz. No! He actually a chill dude who wanna just play video games and relax and you would find yourself go around the city with him to his favourite places and slowly knowing more of Alex himself and not just the head chief. I feel the quest would end with a beautiful lil animation of him skating in the middle of the night in his favourite spot while you watching him.

-Aaron:-

Aaron on the other hand is a bit more personal for him, you and him would go to his hometown, a small village that were harsh to him and his mother. Going there you would see how that village is truly harsh and wonder how someone like Aaron could come from it and especially why Aaron would even go out of his way to go help them after all what he did to him… although at one point in the story you would find the heartless doctor who scammed Aaron for greed and cost his mother life! Just what will Aaron do to that man after meeting him all those years?

-Mary:-

I am yet not sure how Mary story would go but I think it can be something like you and her will go to investigate some crime that related to cults stuff and all that jazz!

I do not yet have ones for Volt and Elizabeth unfortunately but hope those ideas picked ya interest!

I'm sorry about your presentation, it really sucks when you don't do as well as you want 😔 but I'm happy to hear about the guy that's so exciting and he sounds nice!! my classes went well but I'm kind of upset because on one of my final papers I got a way better grade than I deserve and I feel bad for people who tried. i have this one friend who’s been studying abroad and i haven’t seen him since september when he left but he came home to surprise me for my birthday and i literally cried so hard it was so so so sweet and i really appreciate him :’))) it sucks he had to go back yesterday though it was great seeing him anyways <3

it was a design project where we had to design and present our idea for a housing estate and i did well in terms of my part of the design and other things i contributed which i’m happy about !!! just sucks i didn’t express it well enough on the day but it’s alright :))) he is really sweet, he ended up calling me to say happy birthday and then we spoke for like 20 minutes about random stuff and caught up a little which was really so so lovely .. sigh

Kim entered the common room to find it quite empty, which was ideal because she'd be able to sit in her favourite spot by the window and read an old favourite while sipping hot chocolate (obviously).

She hadn't had much time recently to read for pleasure; she'd been too busy studying and doing other things, so it was nice to just relax for a change.

Kim went to the kitchen to make her hot chocolate while holding her book, and as she reached for the kettle, she accidentally bumped into someone. "Oh, sorry. I didn't see you there."

Kim was glad for the distraction of drinks with Candace. She'd been working a lot lately and was looking forward to some downtime before heading to Prague in a few days.

Kim hoped Candace would like the place; Kim had been recommended it by a client and thought it had a cool name. She texted Candace, telling her where to meet her and that she'd be at the bar.

Kim was sitting at the bar, waiting for Candace, which gave her the opportunity to observe the other people in the bar. She did this when she was bored, and plus, you can tell a lot about someone just by looking at them. Something Kim had honed over the course of her career.

Kim was observing a couple while sipping the glass of white wine she'd ordered while waiting for Candace when she noticed red hair passing by the window.

It had to be Candace.

Kim smiled as she entered, waiting for her to reach the bar before going in for a hug. She hadn't seen Candace in a long time, and she missed her. “Hi.”

Kim had recently become frustrated, especially following the attack of goo monsters or whatever they were. She was still convinced that Drakken was responsible, and no one could convince her otherwise. She couldn't get the gut feeling she had when those things attacked out of her head; the only other time she'd felt that way was when Drakken or anyone she'd stopped before was up to no good.

Kim was also irritated that Drakken had gotten away with it, but relieved that the goo monsters had vanished. She wished Drakken had to face the consequences of his actions once more, but she knew he was probably feeling like his plan had failed, which made her feel a little better.

So Kim decided to concentrate on something she could control: beginning her Christmas shopping. Her parents and brothers were due to visit soon, and she wanted to get their gifts before they arrived so she could show them around Swynlake.

This is how she ended up in Chapter Three, looking for something for her mother and possibly something for herself. Kim wanted to get her mom something different than what she usually read, so she went to the front desk and see if she could find someone who worked there.

"Excuse me, is anyone here?"

Kim had been debating it for a while, but she finally felt ready to go ahead and get her first tattoo. The only question now was what to get. She had a few ideas but couldn't decide which one to get; in theory, she could get them all, but for now, one would be enough. It was simply a matter of deciding which one.

Kim sat on her favourite bench outside Mad Hatter's Tea Shoppe, sipping her caramel macchiato and weighing her options. "Excuse me," she said to the person nearest to her, "can I ask your opinion on something?"

I have several PnF fic ideas and I don't know which one to write first so if anyone has a preference feel free to cast a vote.

In the aftermath of the Robot Riot, Perry discovers the remains of the tree house robots. Candace is nowhere in sight and no one knows where she went, leading Perry to fear the worst. An alternate take on the Robot Riot scene.

Phineas comes out as aro ace to his friends. Isabella is supportive and accepts Phineas for who he is with her whole being. She grapples with the loss of a romantic love that will never be, unintentionally hurting Phineas when she stops hanging around him to try and nurse her broken heart. Will feature lots of fluff and platonic love between the PnF friendship group.

Candace gets into a fight with Perry when he won't let her use his spy equipment to bust her brothers. She insists that it's because he doesn't like her as much as her brothers, and Perry is determined to set her straight.

The morning after Perry and Candace's body-switch fiasco, the girl finds herself bruised and sore. Carrying immense guilt, Perry stays with her all day. Take place after Does This Duckbill Make Me Look Fat?

Candace is hesitant to spend time with Perry, thinking he doesn't want to be near her after putting him out of the house. When he scratches at her door during the night, she tearfully apologizes for her behaviour. Takes place after Oh, There You Are, Perry.
