Working at a restaurant with 141 (pt. 4)
You thought it was a mistake when someone called in reserving a party of 14 for a birthday. The voice on the other line assures you it is not, and that they'll be arriving at 7pm. You inform everyone.
"Who wid want a birthday in this shithole?"
Johnny gaffaued, spraying down some dishes.
"Probably just a prank call."
Kyle replied, arms wrapped around your waist and head resting on your shoulders. But it wasn't a prank call. The first half of the party arrive and you and Gaz have to scramble to push tables together. It's overwhelming, everyone is talking all at once, demanding things left and right. Gaz swoops in to help deal with one half the table while you the other. The food comes out, leaving you to be able to sit in the back for a few minutes, talking to the guys about nothing. Walking back out, some older man was snapping his fingers at you, waving his arms as if they weren't the only fucking people in the joint.
"Steaks burnt to hell, remake it."
He slides the plate to you, making you catch it before it falls off the side of the table. You apologize profusely and send it back to the kitchen. Price raises an eyebrow,
"Looks fine to me."
He stares at the piece of charcoal on the plate.
"Fucks sake, lemme do it."
Simon grabs his shoulder and cooks another steak. You set it down infront of the old man, watching him take a bite. He throws his fork down,
"Still burnt. How hard is it to cook a fucking steak?"
You look at the plate, meats still pink in the middle. Apologize again and offer to remake it.
"No, don't bother. Jesus."
He stares daggers into you. You wring your hands nervously.
"Actually, everyone's food was shit. None of us should have to pay for this."
Your mouth goes dry. You look over your shoulder to meet eyes with Kyle at the bar. He immediately walks over.
"Everything alright?"
He puts on his nicest customer service voice and that charming smile that can melt anyone. Except this asshole apparently.
"No everything is not alright, this was the worst dining experience I've ever had! Everything came out wrong, and it all tastes like shit!"
Spit flies out from the mans mouth. Kyle stands between you and the customer, trying to diffuse the situation. And much to your horror, one by one, the table starts to leave. You try to say something but they ignore you.
"Go get Johnny."
You run back, trying to act casual in front of Simon and John while tugging Johnny by the sleeve. He looks down, concerned.
He's on the floor before you can finish telling him what happened,
"Ye'r gonnae have tae pay sir."
His tone is more firm than Gaz, arms crossed and looking down at the old man. You're almost in tears as you watch more of the table file out the door, you turn back to look at Gaz. He frowns, furious. There's a heated argument at the table, the old man is yelling now. Not at Kyle or Johnny, but the only person he wasn't afraid of; you. The commotion makes John and Simon step out. This idiot is gonna get himself killed. You can see the moment when the customer loses the fight in his eyes. Shuts right up as soon as Simon says,
"Problem?"
Like a fish out of water, all the old man does is open and close his mouth wordlessly.
"Grab the cheque."
You don't know who Simon said that to but you and Soap crash into each other turning around and walking to the POS system. Ghost gently grabs the bill from your shaky hands and shoves it into the customers chest,
"Cash only."
"I don't have cash."
"There's an ATM around the corner."
The old man nearly jumps out of his seat,
"Right. Be right back."
He rushes to the door, Kyle and John follow.
"Oh there's no need-"
"Making sure you don't get lost."
Kyle smiles, eyes dangerous. It's about five minutes when they're back, the old man placing some 20s down before complaining under his breath. Then he gets kicked out,
"I need my change!"
He looks over Johnny's shoulder, looking to you for help. You shrug, arms crossed. When the door closes you sigh, running fingers through your hair
"You alright, darling?"
Gaz asks, voice as sweet as ever, gentle hand on your face. You nod.
~
That evening was pleasant. More than that really. They pampered you, cooed and soothed you as you huffed and sniffled. Ran you a hot bath,
"Poor thing, dinnae deserve tha."
Johnny massaged shampoo into your hair.
"Won't let you stay around next time we deal with something like that again."
Kyle kneaded the tension out your shoulders. John sat you in his lap, brushing hair out of your face while saying sweet nothings. You really do enjoy milking this for all it's worth, sad eyes looking up and huffing like you didn't get over that bullshit as soon as that old man walked out the door.
"Pampered little princess, you know that?"
Simon's lips are pressed up to your neck, just under your ear. You just nod, his words rattling around your brain while you got fucked senseless. You're tired, but the boys promised to coax an orgasm out of you. From each one of them. Then another. Well, you're a trooper, so what's one more round? Showered with soft kisses and praise, a foolish smile is painted across your face in a pleasurable state of stupor; Gosh, aren't you just spoiled rotten?
**sorry if it's short! I am on holiday ( ╥ω╥ )**

POS System: A Technological Boon for Retail Businesses
The point of sale (POS) system permeated the world of retail business and made its place by the onset of the 20th century. It has become an essential solution to manage business operations, regardless of the size of the business. James Ritty of Ohio invented the first point of sale (POS) system - the cash register, in 1879. Since then, the demand for wholesale cash registers was at its peak. With time, these bulky devices evolved into a more compact system that we now know as the point of sale (POS) system. Unlike cash registers, that were just capable of processing payments, the compact and modernised point of sale (POS) system developed into a multi-functional solution that is programmed to perform numerous other functions like tracking and managing inventory, building and maintaining customer relationships, tracking and managing employee performances, generating and analysing sales reports, and others. This made business operations simple and streamlined which in turn made running a business seamlessly.

Chapter 4 of Good Doggy
Masterlist
Tw - Drunk Assholes (inspired by real stories from me :)), Slight blood warning, Language (its a COD fanfic??), OKAY SO LIKE I GUESS SLIGHT SUGGESTIVE STUFF?? I WANTED TO MAKE IT LONGER. A SMALL SCENE OF NSFW BUT NOTHING TOO DEEP BUT STILL PUTTING A WARNING, ITS IN BETWEEN THE NSFW GRAPHICS. Gaz has a praise kink.

Tumblr media
The bar is filled. It’s a Friday night, of course it is but you hate it. You don’t like dealing with assholes. Not after the conversation with Maya.
“I cannot serve you anymore. If you don’t decide to leave I will call the cops.” The man in front of you shouts profanity after profanity, angered by the law. Humans were stupid that way. “Here’s a water.” You slam it down, annoyed.
Idiots. Drunken idiots.
Yeah by Usher starts playing. The club you worked at was loud, you have ear plugs in just so you wouldn’t be overstimulated by everything, but you could still hear enough.
“Why do you have a mask on?” He's irritated already which means that this conversation will not end well. You usually strive to give your coworkers the assholes, not caring that he'll have to deal with it.
"It's to stay safe, I don't want to get sick-"
The man cuts you off and you debate on spitting in his drink, "That's not gonna keep you safe, the only way to stay safe is to build your immune system." He keeps yelling, and some spit leaves his mouth. You place down the menu in front of him as he keeps yelling, "That's the only way to stay safe, not a stupid mask!"
You walk away, going to your coworker and telling him to get his order cause if you do you'll be fired. You instead went over to the list of music that was going to play and put on a favorite song of yours, not caring for some disgruntled noise from other patrons as you bobbed your head to the beat, distracting yourself from the day you had.
"Ye lik' this song mo gaol?" It's the familiar accent and the way the hairs on your arms stand makes you more irritated. It was roughly 1 a.m. and most people would be tired. You'd reckon it would start slowly down in 20 minutes, which meant you could get some work done.
You turned to face Soap.
Tumblr media
"I'd hope so, I chose it." You tell him as you get closer to him. "You still stalking me?"
"Ah'ahmnot a stalker, juist wanted a drink." He smiles boyishly, as if he wasn't Sergeant John ``Soap" MacTavish with more confirmed kills than unconfirmed.
"At the bar I work at?"
"Juist a coincidence"
"I'd prefer it if you didn't lie to me." You told him while you mixed a drink. "You obviously have something for me."
"A'm in loue wi' ye"
"Not possible." You tell him, interrupting his "confession". You set the drink down in front of him. "$13" You tell him the price.
"I didnae orda a drink?" He looked cheeky, and you wished some part of you didn't find him attractive. But he looks up at you and you can't help but imagine other scenarios, particularly some where you're both naked.
"Well you can either pay for the drink and drink it, or pay for the drink and I'll drink it and talk with you some more." Soap immediately puts down two 20s.
"Th' rest can go to mah bartender." You slip the extra cash into your pocket, going to your POS system and breaking out for your thirty minute break that was required. You grabbed the drink on the counter and left your work area, Soap following behind like a puppy. You found a booth in the corner most people avoided. Sitting down at what could fit five others at most. Your mind goes back to Maya, who’s probably taking care of Icarus, your dog, and Marigold, her familiar. Maya worked as well, but it was an in-house job where she dealt with customers in need of assistance.
"You hurt our feelin`s earlier," He says first as you take a sip of the drink you made. "Hae we dane something tae offend ye?"
"Don't want to get your hopes up." You tell him, "I'm not one for soulmates."
"So ye know?"
"Of course I do. You reek of wolf." He starts to sniff himself and you want to laugh at how ridiculous it looks. "You wouldn't be able to smell it. And it's not a bad smell, just obnoxious cause there's four of you."
"So ye aren't human."
"Nope, never was."
"What are ye?" You never felt shame in what you were. Didn't feel shame in general, it took Maya for you to start walking around in clothes.
But you didn't want to tell him.
"None of your business."
Tumblr media
Gaz knows that Price is going to talk about the bloodshed in the morning. He knows that Price already knows but doesn't care to stop it tonight. Price is just too drunk, Ghost doesn’t care, and Soap is who knows where. It wasn’t like he killed humans tonight, just some animals that were definitely going to get the town's attention (He might’ve killed a bear) but not the hunters.
He's decorated in blood and he loves it. It soothes some messed-up part of him. His teeth still have specks of flesh in it, that he licks clean
He smells you. Heavenly you. You who smells like some plant burning. He didn't understand it, but he loved it.
You're next to Soap, and Soap has the biggest grin as you walk together.
Though you probably don't see it as together. You probably see it as him stalking you, but you don't seem to have your usual air of distaste. You have sunglasses on, something he hates cause he can't stare at them. Your mask is black, and you also have a hood on. You look perfect, he just wishes you were in his bedroom.
Preferably naked and-
Nope.
He kind of hates it at the same time though. Soap getting so close to you, still determined to find a way to be with you. Soap didn't lose hope, not like Gaz did. But he'd be damned if he didn't do something. He lets out a growl, standing menacingly as he runs forward, towards both of you, knocking Soap down as he growls at him, his teeth snapping. If Gaz doesn't get to be happy, Soap shouldn't either.
He just wasn't expecting your reaction.
"Get off him." He followed your command, staring up at you and following your eyes when you bent down to be eye level with him. "God you are so..."
"Cute." Your voice gets higher as you gently rub behind his ears, the blood not bothering you at all. Gaz almost forgets how you looked at him earlier, your words that cut him melted away and he just thinks he has a chance.
You loved dogs, who wouldn't? Even if that dog was actually a grown (hot) man.
"Look who's such a pretty boy." You kept rubbing his head as Soap just stared in shock. "Such a handsome boy, who did you eat?" You coo at Gaz, who leans into your touch and praise, enjoying everything about this moment. Gaz has to take a moment to remember himself, that the praise you give him is nothing.
But he can't help but imagine scenarios in a different setting.
Tumblr media
NSFW Start
It's such a simple setting. In his room, the lights are low. He's flushed, shirtless and on the floor, while you sit above him.
"Can't you be a good boy for me?" You lick your lip before biting it, you stare at him, your eyes actually showing, looking at him with lust and love. A perfect combination, and your lips, god, you were perfect for him. "Come on, you know you want to." You lower your shorts and Gaz gulps, he stares at your cock, mesmerized.
"You're hungry for it, aren't you whore?"
NSFW End
Tumblr media
"Arr ye fecken' kidding me?" Soap says, breaking the peaceful moment, and Gaz's daydream. "A' it took wis a wolf fur ye to lik' us?"
"I still don't like you all, but dogs are always a great company." You keep petting him, Gaz's eyes closing slightly, and Soap sits up.
"Ah can do that toh." His accent gets thicker as he rushes to grab your hand, forcing it away from Gaz and instead putting it in his hair. Which was mostly shaved on the sides.
"You aren't a cute puppy right now." You yank your hand away.
"He's fooken' bloody!"
Gaz licks your face, and you slightly smile.

NEXT
Listen, hating people is one thing but I could never hate a dog, let alone a wolf. Reader still doesn't feel comfortable around the boys, but he does like the dogs.

He Don't Like The Lights | Bradley Bradshaw Actor AU|
Tumblr media
Waiting tables wasn’t horrible, but it wasn’t your favorite job either. Not that you hated it, because you didn’t. For the most part you liked your coworkers, your roommate Celeste being one of them. Your bosses weren’t horrible, and the pay was alright. You were able to pay your bills and stash some extra cash away for savings. Soon, or at least you hoped it would be soon, you would be able to move out of the somewhat shitty place with Celeste and get a better apartment. Maybe even leave Virginia altogether.
“Hey, I need you to take table five.”
“But it’s not in my section tonight,” You argue with your manager.
“Just take it, okay? It's a single and you’re better with singles than Celeste,” He replied, shooing you away with his hands.
You let out a dramatic sigh, rolling your eyes as you grabbed your waitress book and headed towards the single guy sitting at the table. You never sized up tables before you started serving them, never tried to write people off before they had a chance to show their colors.
But you could tell that this guy was hot just by the way he was sitting with a baseball cap tugged low. He at least knew how to wear a damned hat unlike some of the guys who came in with it halfway on their heads.
“Hi, welcome in, can I get you started with anything to drink?” You asked cheerfully as you stopped in front of him.
The bar was relatively empty, which came as a surprise since it was a weekend and the weather was fairly nice. Maybe everyone was still out at the beach and would be in before dinner ended. Maybe you would get lucky and end up having a good tip night to make up for the shitfest that was last night.
“Uh, just a Bud on draft if you have it.”
“Bud lite?” You question.
“No, Buswieser, the real shit,” There’s a hint of a laugh in his voice.
“I’ve got it in a bottle, is that okay?”
“Yeah that works,” He replies, tipping his head back to look up at you.
It takes you a second to register who’s actually looking at you. You’ve seen those dark hazel eyes on screen plenty of times, because Cele is obsessed with his movies. However, what really takes you back is how normal he looks in an old beat up t-shirt and shorts. He doesn’t look like the glamourous actor that you’ve seen.
“I’m sorry- are you,” You stop and lick your lips.
You aren’t nervous, because you aren’t obsessed with him. His movies are okay, and you have to admit he is more attractive in person than he is on screen. But you’ve never been one to fall face first over someone who’s in the industry, not that you’ve ever had the chance to before.
“Are you Bradley Bradshaw?” The question comes out as a whisper as you lean down, trying to be as quiet as you can.
He pales for a moment, waiting to see if you’re going to fully freak out on him before smiling sheepishly, “Caught that easily, huh?”
“You’re lucky it’s just me and not the other girl over there,” You inform him, “She’d be on the floor, and I know that because I live with her and share a TV with her. But since it’s just me,” you smile at him before backing away a step, “A bottle of Bud coming right up.”
He smiles and relaxes into his seat before looking back down at his phone on the table. You can’t help but smile as you make your way towards the bar and the POS system to start his ticket.
Bradley Bradshaw is eating in the bar and no one but you knows. He just happened to be lucky enough that Celeste had the one big table and was therefore too busy to take him, even though it was her section.
“Thanks for taking that table,” She sounds out of breath as she sets a drink tray down next to you, “I’m swamped with those fuckers over there. Tourists on vacation who want everything at that very moment. Including three Virgin Strawberry Daiquiris for the kids. I want to shoot myself.”
You smile to yourself as you make your way around to the beer cooler to grab a nice cold bottle of Bud, “Oh don’t worry about it. He shouldn’t cause any trouble anyway.”
If only she knew.
“Here you go,” You say, sitting the open bottle down on his table, “Do you need a minute to look over the menu? Or do you have any questions?”
“What do you recommend?” He asked you, looking back up.
“Pulled Pork Mac’n’cheese, easy,” You replied almost instantly, “Hands down my favorite dish here, after our Crab Dip appetizer, but I also eat that for a full meal.”
He smiles up at you and closes the menu before handing it back to you, “I’ll try that Pork Mac then.”
“Sounds good, I’ll get that right in!” You smile triumphantly before backing away once again, “Holler if you need anything, okay? I’ll be back to check on you before the food comes out.”
Back at the bar, Celeste is finally able to stop for a minute and catch her breath. She looks miserable and it makes you want to laugh a little. Her night would be very different if she just took Table Five instead.
She’s hunched over her phone reading an article, which normally you would call her out on being on her phone but tonight you can’t be bothered. It’s slow enough and her phone is hidden anyway.
“Hey, Bradshaw is up for a bunch of awards,” She grins, “He so deserves them. You remember how great he was in that war movie, right! That’s what’s being nominated.”
“Hmm?” You question before your brain seems to catch up with you, “Oh, yeah. No, he was great in that movie. Whole cast was, honestly.”
“Exactly! I hope they sweep at the Oscars, they all deserve it so much.”
You have to hide your smile as you type away on the POS to put in the order. In the back, you can hear your kitchen jamming out to some sort of heavy metal meets classic rock mix which isn’t all that unusual for them. There are some days you’ve come to work and they’ve been listening to Disney music. At this point you can’t even try to say that you understand what their playlists consist of.
It takes ten minutes before you’re walking back over to the table with another beer in hand. You noticed he was starting to run low and you know better than to let a drink ever go empty. That was one of the first things you learned when you became a waitress.
“Brought you another one,” You announce, setting it down.
“Thanks, appreciate it,” He replies, “And uh, thanks for not freaking out on me. Would’ve been a bitch if I got swarmed in here.”
“No worries, I’m not a rabid fan or anything,” You laugh, “But I am curious as to why you’re here of all places. I thought you lived in LA?”
“I do,” He nods, “But this was home long before LA was. I was born here in Virginia, I like to come back and visit family from time to time.”
“Oh,” You’re taken back by his honesty. He could’ve easily told you that it was none of your business, which is what you expected, “That’s really nice actually.”
Celeste calls you, saying the kitchen wants you. Reluctantly you force yourself away from the table and towards the set of double swinging doors in the middle of the bar. Something about Bradley Bradshaw is drawing you in and you aren’t sure if you want to resist it or not. Surely he wouldn’t remember your name in a few hours. He’d forget about the server from Virginia the second he got on a flight back to LA and the way of the world would take back over.
“Here’s that pork mac,” Chef told you, nudging the dish in the window, “Get it out of my sight.”
“Sir yes sir,” You reply, grabbing the hot dish, “Thank you!”
“Yeah yeah, fuck off,” He grumbled, which only made you smile.
You made your way back towards Bradley’s table with a smile. You could see why Celeste was so enamored with him. There was just something about him that made you want to sit down and hang on his every word. Plus, he was hot as hell. He still had the mustache from his previous role, and was trying to hide behind his ball cap. He looked normal, almost.
You wondered how other people here saw him? Were they even paying attention to the bonafide star that was hiding out in the corner? Celeste would piss herself if she knew he was here, hell, you might even piss yourself if he smiled at you again. The thought made you a little weak in the knees.
“Your pork mac,” You said, sitting it down on the table in front of him, “Be careful, it’s actually pretty hot.”
“Mmm, looks fantastic,” He nearly groaned, “Thank you.”
“Don’t thank me yet, you don’t even know if you’ll like it!” You laughed, “But I hope you enjoy, and let me know if I can get you anything else.”
You hop away from him again, taking a deep breath as you go. Maybe the night wouldn’t be as bad as you thought.

I'm cashing in my "Hard projecting one of your very-specific and underrepresented autistic traits unto one character per media" ticket for Funk Branch and saying that he follows extremely arbitrary patterns, mostly unintentionally, but that he is fully aware of.
He named the first couple or so of his inventions Gary mostly as a joke and it confused Prince D, but now, he cannot name one of his inventions anything but Gary. It simply doesn't feel right, all of his 1002 inventions are acronyms that spell out Gary and follow a strict categorization system, he can't start naming them something else now!
And if he does, he should have to go back and rename every single one of his inventions so they all follow the same new naming and categorization convention, don't ask why he simply does!
(Honestly, if it wasn't for my piss-poor motivation and how easily I burn out, I would love to write a Funk Branch fanfic. But I can at least still enjoy myself by just sending you FB asks and scenarios /pos)
Whats impressive is managing to come up with all those acronyms

From the moment you first met, it was clear that while she had the charm, creativity, and charisma to run her small hotel on the Greek island of Kalokairi, she was a bit challenged when it came to modern technology. You, on the other hand, had a knack for all things electronic and mechanical. So, when you decided to surprise Donna by upgrading a few things around her hotel, you knew it would make her life easier, even if it did come with some comical challenges.
The hotel, though full of character and history, had its fair share of quirks. The plumbing was ancient, the electrical wiring was a patchwork of DIY solutions, and the Wi-Fi, well, it was more of a "Wi-Maybe." You couldn't stand to see your girlfriend struggle with these everyday issues, so you set out to modernize the place without compromising its rustic charm.
One of your first projects was installing a brand-new espresso machine in the hotel's café. You figured it would be a hit with the tourists who frequented the place. The sleek, stainless steel beast looked like it belonged in a spaceship compared to the old, sputtering coffee maker it replaced.
The morning after you installed it, Donna stood in front of the new espresso machine, her brow furrowed in confusion. "Love, how does this contraption work again?" she asked, casting you an adorable, bewildered look. You chuckled, walking over to her. "Darling, I've shown you this at least five times. You press this button for a regular espresso, this one for a cappuccino, and this one for a latte."
Donna blinked at the array of buttons. "But which one makes a regular coffee?"
You couldn't help but grin. "The one that says 'espresso,' Donna. It's the first button."
She nodded, clearly trying to remember. "Right, the 'ex-press-oh.' Got it."
You watched as she carefully pressed the button, and the machine whirred to life, making all sorts of futuristic noises. Espresso poured into the cup, and Donna beamed triumphantly as if she'd just solved a complex puzzle. You couldn't contain your laughter. "Don't worry, love," you said, ruffling her hair affectionately. "You'll get the hang of it."
Over the next few days, you introduced more upgrades. You replaced the old landline phone with a sleek, cordless model. You set up a modern sound system in the hotel's courtyard for music during the evening gatherings. You even convinced Donna to ditch the ancient cash register in favor of a user-friendly tablet-based point-of-sale system. With each new addition, Donna's confusion seemed to grow. She'd call you over for help, even when you were just in the next room. "Sweetie, can you come here? I can't get the music to play."
You'd sigh with faux exasperation, setting down whatever you were doing to assist her. "Donna, remember the app? You just select the playlist and press play."
"I know, I know," she'd reply, rolling her eyes at her own forgetfulness. "But it's all so...fiddly."
As much as you teased her about it, you couldn't deny the joy of watching her adapt to these newfangled devices. It was endearing to see her navigate the touch screen of the tablet POS system with determined concentration, making transactions for guests with a sense of accomplishment.
One evening, as you both sat on the terrace overlooking the azure sea, Donna sipped a glass of wine and turned to you with a mischievous glint in her eye. "You know," she began, "I think you're secretly enjoying being my personal tech support." You chuckled, tracing circles on her hand. "Well, it does give me the chance to hold you close and whisper sweet nothings in your ear."
She laughed, leaning in to steal a quick kiss. "You do have a point there."
As the summer days passed, Donna's tech anxiety began to wane. She'd proudly tell you about how she had successfully made a latte without any assistance, or how she'd mastered the art of Bluetooth pairing for the speakers. She even dared to experiment with the espresso machine, trying her hand at creating intricate latte art.
One morning, you walked into the café to find her diligently working behind the counter. She held up a cup with a heart-shaped design in the foam. "Look at this, my love!" she exclaimed. "I made a heart!" You couldn't help but smile at her enthusiasm. "That's fantastic, Donna! You're becoming a pro."
But just as you thought her tech-related troubles were a thing of the past, a new challenge emerged. You had upgraded the hotel's Wi-Fi, and while it was now faster and more reliable, Donna couldn't quite grasp the concept of network names and passwords.
"Darling," she called from the reception desk, "what's the code for the Wee-Fee again?"
You sighed, resigning yourself to another round of explanations. "It's Wi-Fi, Donna. And the password is 'KalokairiSunshine.'"
"Right, right," she replied with a nod, jotting it down on a piece of paper. You couldn't resist teasing her. "Donna, I've told you the password at least ten times. It's 'KalokairiSunshine,' like our beautiful island."
She laughed, folding her arms and giving you an impish look. "Well, maybe I just enjoy hearing you say it, my tech genius."
You shook your head in mock exasperation, but deep down, you cherished these moments. Donna's quirks, her playful nature, and her ability to embrace change, even if it came with a learning curve, were all part of what made her so special to you.
As the sun set over Kalokairi, casting a warm, golden glow across the hotel, you couldn't help but feel grateful for the chance to be Donna's partner in both love and technology. In your eyes, she was the heart and soul of the hotel, and you were more than happy to be the one who helped her keep it running, one espresso at a time.

Matcha Tea
Pairing: Jimin x Althea (OC)
Synopsis: Althea never had Matcha before. Jimin is sweet enough to take her to a spot he knows.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Konnie's Kafe was the name of the shop Jimin walked hand in hand with Althea. The spot was owned by a sweet Arab woman who Jimin met at one of the many food truck festivals in the city. The shop was a minimalist but modern decore. Tables were stacked toward the front of the restaurant, and the behind the counter is where the bar was.
"It's gorgeous, the lighting is perfect." Althea spoke to her phone camera. Documenting the experience as she usually did with new things she tried. In the camera, the ceiling light gave her a golden-hour look. Skin was poppin!
"Oooo, look at the flavors." Althea flipped the camera to show the blackboard calligraphy hanging above the bar. Cream-colored pendant lights hung above the cash register, and oil paintings of floral and matcha herbs sat behind the light. Little things that, as an interior designer, she loved to pick up on. The air was clean, the furniture was warmy. She could see herself here frequently.
Jimin figured he would try something new. Deciding to join in on the experience of trying something new with Althea. He tilted his neck, letting out pops as he internally figured out what to try.
The matcha and white chocolate combination caught his eye.
Konnie came out of the backroom. Her cheekbones are high as she smiled at the customers.
"What can I get for you all?"
Jimin looked over to his left to see if Althea was ready. She was too caught up in her monologue to notice the social cue Jimin was giving her. With a loving hand, Jimin wrapped his arm across her shoulder, his face coming into view of the camera. He looked at Althea through the camera.
"Ready to order?"
"Yes, sorry. Can I get the tropical matcha, mama?" Jimin read the flavor description.
Matcha, coconut, and mint leaves.
"I would like the midnight matcha." Konnie punched in the orders on the POS system.
Jimin handed Konnie his card before she announced the total. Swiping the card, Jimin thanked her before following Althea to a table. As part of the decor, a flippable hourglass was in the center of the table. Althea rambled, talking about nothing in particular.
In record time, Konnie delivered the drinks to the table. Jimin watched Althea's pupils dilate in real time. Althea's tropical drink had a paper and toothpick tent hanging off the corner of the cup. Brown sugar on the rim appeared like sand, really selling the beach vibes.
"It's gorgeous!" Althea lifted the cup. "Jimin try." She turned the straw toward his mouth.
"You haven't even tried yet yourself." Jimin laughed.
Konnie, watching the two, smiled. Althea reminds her a lot of her bubbly granddaughter. A soul who was experiencing her first life. She was so open to exploration that it was nearly impossible not to love her.
Sipping the drink, Althea pondered. "ten out of ten!"
"Drink your drink, baby." Jimin picked up his drink, enjoying the new flavor he had tried. He gave Konnie a thumbs-up. She smiled, leaving the couple to enjoy their beverages.
In seconds, the sound of air passing through a straw. Jimin, not even a quarter through his drink looked at the empty glass in amazement.
"It was really good." Althea shrugged, tapping her mouth and applying a fresh layer of gloss on her lips.

Heyyyy I have a request but like I don’t know what character so I’ll leave that up to you
Reader has been a little distracted by the pretty girl that recently started working at the same place as her…will she make a move? Is the pretty girl gay? Questions need answers but reader is a little awkward especially around a girl such a pretty girl what will happen?
Sorry this is so vague :( my brain is sooo fried lol
Coffeehouse Crush
Amber Appleton x fem! reader
Warnings: fluff, coarse language, reader and Amber are both flustered, awkward messes lol
In which reader, a small town gay finds herself falling hard and fast for the new girl at work. One problem— was she even gay?
“Hey, y/n. Later, we have a new staff member joining us. Could I have you be the one to train her? Just for today at least.”
“Oh? Sure, yeah.”
You carried on with your opening duties: wiping down the countertop and equipments, then counting the ‘float money’ to make sure there was the correct amount of cash in the register. “So, she should be here by 8, just show her the ropes. Have her shadow you for the day, hands-on starts tomorrow. You know, cash register, POS system, how to make the drinks.”
“I got it.” You laughed, “Just as long as she isn’t as clueless as Dex, who— thank god, you’ve fired because otherwise we’d be making losses.”
“I think you’ll be just fine. She has experience in F&B.” Your manager assured.
“I’ll hold you to that, Wendy. Okay, three hundred’s in the register— we’re all set.”
“Good.” Wendy shrugs, “Okay, Kaley should be here at 8:30, if she isn’t. We’re on our own.”
“Damn, okay.” You laughed, “Does that mean you’ll be out here too, then?”
“Only if Kaley doesn’t show. Otherwise, you and the new girl will be able to handle it.” Wendy bites back a laugh, “Sunday…it’ll be pretty calm. We’re near a whole bunch of offices and it’s the weekend.”
Wendy heads into her office while you leaned against the counter, watching people walk by. Ten people must’ve walked by in the last few minutes but not one walked in. You decided to take this time to make yourself a drink since there weren’t any customers. Then, you even had the time to drink it.
A few minutes later, a girl— probably your age, walks in. “Hi, I’m Amber. It’s my first day here today.”
“Oh! Right, the manager told me you were.” You snapped out of your thoughts.
Shit, that smile. It was so contagious. She just exudes such a good vibe. Smiling back at her, you introduced yourself, “Amber, I’m y/n. Our manager, Wendy has put me in charge of training you for today. But your job, for now is to just shadow me for the day and familiarise yourself with everything.”
“Hi, y/n.”
“Pick out a locker in the break room to your right, and that’ll be yours. I’ll just go get your apron and name tag for you from Wendy.”
“Okay.” She was still smiling. Damn, was she adorable.
She walks past you to get to the break room, you then went the opposite direction to Wendy’s office. You caught a whiff of her watermelon shampoo when she walked by. Stop it, y/n— that’s creepy.
“Oh, good. She’s here early. Here’s her apron and name tag.” Wendy hands the piece of fabric to you and the name tag. “Thanks.” You took them and exited her office, right when Amber walks back out from the break room. You hand her the items and let her put them on.
“So, today’s Sunday. Sundays are usually our more ‘quiet’ days. Not as many people come by on Sundays since we’re mainly near offices. Before some people start coming in around nine, I think I could probably show you how to make a couple drinks first.”
“Okay.” She nodded, eager.
“I don’t know how you have this much energy in the morning.” You chuckled over your words, reaching your hand out to grab a takeout cup then grabbed the recipe booklet.
“Okay, Amber. Take your pick— which one do you want?”
“What do you mean?”
You snorted, laughing, “Pick a drink you think you’d like— after you make it, you get to have it.”
She squints, “Really?”
“Yeah. I swear.” You nod, “If you don’t believe me, ask Wendy later when she walks out here.”
“No, no, no.” She gasped, “I believe you, it’s just usually. Based on my experience at my old jobs, I had to pay.”
“Not here you don’t.” You assured, “Go on.”
Her hand brushes against yours when she took the laminated booklet from you. You felt a spark, pursing your lips together and looking away from her briefly. She laughs, flipping through the pages. You could feel her gaze on you.
Damn it, Amber. Damn it.
While you taught her how to make the drink she picked out— it was a coconut milk latte, nothing too difficult. You chatted with her, learning way more about her than you’d expected to in such a short period of time. “Hey, y/n.” You heard. But you just could not focus. Your eyes, they were stuck on looking at Amber, looking at her sip on her coffee, happy that she got the hang of it so quickly.
“y/n.” You heard your name again.
“Hey!” You felt a tap on your shoulder. Startled, you gasped and quickly turned around. “Wendy. Oh, my God. Sorry.” You apologised.
“Amber said you scalded your hand. Let me see.” Wendy says, “Are you alright?”
“Yeah, just a little…distracted.” You say.
“Distracted?” She smirks, looking at you then your hand, then finally at Amber, “I think your hand will be fine but you’ll get a few blisters, but be careful and let them heal properly. Did you run it under cold water yet?”
“No.”
“Go do that. It might lessen the pain for you a little.” Wendy urged. You excused yourself then went to the break room to tend to your burn.
See if this was how working with Amber was going to be like, you would end up with cuts and burns all over yourself from being so distracted by her…beauty.
“Hey!” Amber’s voice cut through the room, “Are you okay?”
“Yeah, yeah. I— I’m okay.”
“Sorry, I scared you. Didn’t I?”
“No, no, no, no…you didn’t— okay, I— I gotta ask you something but I don’t really know how to ask you—”
“Okay, breathe maybe.” She giggles, “Calm down and just ask me whatever you want. I’m all ears.”
And you did, you took a few deep breaths to regulate your breathing and it helped. You felt better and less…flustered.
“Are you gay?” You hurriedly asked.
“I…am bi.” She tells you.
“Are you seeing anyone? Because I kinda, maybe have a crush on you and I need an answer. I don’t want to be weird and just have feelings for someone that’s attached.” You rambled, “Because that would — would be bad, and I don’t want to ruin things for you, and have you hate me—”
“y/n, look at me.” She holds onto your hands gently, “Look at me. And listen closely— I just moved here, I don’t know anyone. I am single, and bi, and I think…you’re really pretty.”
You freaking choked on your own spit. “Uh…” Chuckling in sheer shock, you say, “I’m sorry what?”
“You’re pretty.” She steps forward and cups your cheek, smiling.
“Aw.” You blushed, “Damn. And I thought you were the shy one.”
“Not once you get to know me.” She shrugs, a cheeky grin on her face.
“You…wanna hang out after work?”
“Oh, yeah I sure do.” Amber winks.
You sigh, “Well, I’m looking forward to it. Let’s get back to work, shall we?”
“Yes, we shall.” Amber laughs, lacing your fingers together with hers for a second before letting go.
“Oh, Amber…” A quiet sigh falls from your lips.
“Yes?”
“Nothing. You’re pretty.” You bit back a grin, hiding the blush forming on your cheeks.
“Aw. Aren’t you so sweet?”

Why'd you give keith the tiniest little waist ever /pos
To answer your question, because 1) it's canon:
Tumblr media
and 2) because it's fun.
On a slightly more "showing my age" note, I am assuming your /pos here doesn't mean you are calling me a piece of shit? Or at least, that's what I'm hoping, as that's what I know those letters to mean.
That and point of sales system, but I doubt even more you are calling me a cash register...
