thinking about that one Perpollo time travel reading the books fic/s I read that repeatedly bashed Annabeth (and Piper) and called her abusive and Percabeth co-dependent (Both during and post MoA, you know when one of them was missing for some months and after being in TARTARUS TOGETHER)

But then turned around and somehow accidentally made Apollo literally so so fucking groomerish (and not because Percy was 16 in it) and possessive it was almost funny

And how do I know it was an accident? Both the author and several fans of the author came into the comments to defend that it 'wasn't as bad as Percabeth' when people politely pointed out that Apollo was kinda being really possessive

Yeah so basically if anyone asks me this was the exact reason I dont ship Perpollo

#they also had Percy challenge Mr D to a duel over what BACCHUS did in MoA (there was also an Percy ascension plot)#I stopped reading it sometime before they got to the end of BOO (they did both pjo and hoo) but I dont think that duel even happened lmao #They also decided to destroy Mr D's relationship with ALL his kids over WHAT BACCHUS DID (They also had all the dead characters live)#Like...i'd understand if it was just Dakota that was upset but Castor and Pollux????#Piper wasnt as bullied as much but basically one thing I remember was that she was yelled at for the Jason birthday scene in MoA #for.....wishing Jason to wish that they'd stay together instead of.....defeating Gaia....in her internal dialogue #also accidentally charmspeaking Jason in MoA #Heroes of olympus #Hoo #wolffox speaks #LIKE HOW THE FUCK DO YOU ACCIDENTALLY MAKE A RELATIONSHIP MORE TOXIC THAN THE THING YOUR TRYING TO MAKE TOXIC???

working with my period instead of against it has been so healing

#I think we’ve grown to just ignore the fact that our bodies have these functions and just keep working working working #and suppress our cycles with birth control #and power through our periods when we do get them #and then wonder why were so miserable #our bodies are different and should be treated as such #even the way society is constructed is built completely to the advantage of males and their hormonal cycles #we shouldn’t be fasting or working a 9-5 every single day or doing intense workouts everyday of the month #thoughts #when I started using herbs and teas to support my hormones increase my progesterone naturally meditating when I’m deep in luteal anxiousness #castor oil packs to support my uterus #I feel worlds better already and it’s only been 2 months #it’s crazy to think how much harder my life has been because of my period #sometimes I wish I could turn back time and do life healthy but everything in divine timing I guess

Helen and Pollux, being a pretty staticky duo while also being surrounded by a LOT of Naiadborn, eventually get a big ol' lightning rod some ways away from the palace, the rivers, and the forests. (probably on some flat plain for exercising or a pasture) When they get overstimulated or overwhelmed static kind of buzzes and the air pressure changes. As too many Dryads got shocked and since water and electricity don't mix, not fun with so many naiadborn around them.

Usually either when Tyndarius or Leda or someone else, notices they're getting emotional and then usually it's a "You need to go and relax, okay? You're clearly not doing well right now." if they feel pressure change or their hair starts to stand from static :P (Neurodivergent coded funnnnn)

It's not like they can shoot lightning, but if emotional for too long then sometimes storms CAN appear (though usually a cloud needs to be in the sky, a gift from dad to work with. if there are no clouds, just reallyyyyy bad pressure changes) Or if it's already storming then...

Ofc, Zeus can be like "Wait a minute, I did not plan for a storm to happen. Stop that. You're my kids. but nope". But he doesn't always mind. (Hera probably does)

The lightning rod is nice as well as it's kind of a safe space for them both. And since storms in Sparta are a celebration for Naiadborn and just really energizing for Helen and Pollux, they go to the rod to make sure there are no stray bolts.

After years of my mom obsessing over my hair and forcing me to do various treatments on it and threatening punishment if I didn’t comply. I’ve come to understand why Britney shaved her head that one time. I know that was something she did as part of a mental breakdown but fuck yeah good for her. I get it.

#and the stupid bitch still doesn’t get it or maybe she refuses to #like you can’t pretend you’re just worried and you don’t understand why I’m angry when you’ve spent years strong arming me into #putting castor oil in my hair and attempting to put mayonnaise in it and I think the only thing that stopped her was my dermatologist #bc he said it wouldn’t do anything at best and also don’t put fucking condiments in your hair #but she really wanted to and I don’t remember this but she might’ve hit me over my refusal #and she’d threaten to take my phone away or deny me something else if I didn’t let her do shit #and then recently she FaceTimed me while I was at DND and tried persuading me to see an endocrinologist #like saying oh she had a friend with the same problem and went to an endocrinologist and the birth control was the issue #(never mind the fact that my BC is the reason I don’t have painful cystic acne anymore and do have a regular period again)#and she was trying to push me into going #and I kept saying I wasn’t having this conversation w her now bc I was busy and she was just like ‘so when are we going to have it’#and basically trying to push past my boundary of I’m fucking busy and this conversation doesn’t need to happen now #I just hung up on her and went on airplane mode but fuck even thinking about it makes me so angry like I want to punch her kinds of angry #and honestly if she hadn’t kept ignoring me and hadn’t kept trying to have this conversation after I said I was busy maybe I would’ve taken #it into consideration and looked into seeing one sometime #but honestly now I absolutely fucking refuse unless my doctor and I agree it’d be a good idea #fuck off mom fuck off and mind your own fucking business #personal #erika's blog and bar

hgh wanna overhaul a main element of starfall again

#vague spoilers ig but its about how asha gets stranded again #i swear ive had a lot of iterations of it bc its like. convoluted ill admit that #the result is usually the same- she gets separated from atlas and castor and quinn- but the how and what happens #is all over the place #at the beginning of this iteration her parents were forced out of the pmd dimension by [redacted] and asha hatched slightly after #so was born into the situation. then all got picked off til only she was left #then the order of who got picked off kept changing. it was either atlas or castor as the final one #and currently its atlas #but then i changed it so that they all get stranded when asha is a bit older so she knows who [redacted] is personally #and gets more time with quinn before she disappears but everyone still got picked off #and now i kinda wanna remove everyone being picked off and replace it with JUST asha getting stranded #as in [redacted] happens and asha loses all 3 at once. really going into just how much it shook her world #and adds to the mystery of where everyone went maybe?#but also everyone being picked off adds some paranoia..... shes paranoid thats an aspect of her character #and this isnt even getting into the mess that is skylar rn. skylar's backstory is a mess #and how they get there worries me bc i think itll be confusing #sometimes im tempted to just. separate asha and skylar and have skylar come in later #but bc of spoilers idk how itd work #and i love them as a trio #but everything just... feels sooo uneven rn and i kinda hate it #its why u havent heard much abt starfall itself tbh i dont like where its at rn #i might honestly have to just tear out a lot of what i have but idk where to start in making it feel good #echoed voice

10 of my favorite easy glow up tips! 𐙚 ‧₊˚ ⋅

get a gua sha!! not expensive at all and made such a difference in my face shape and carving out my cheek bones and jawline. there’s lots of good tutorials on tiktok or youtube!

tea in the morning/night! there’s so many teas to help with different things but my favorite’s are spearmint tea for clearing skin and green tea for reducing bloating.

ice your face! helps SO much with de-puffing and closing up your pores! dipping your face in a bowl with ice water can reduce inflammation, help with acne and reduce oily skin!

make sure to get enough sleep! It’s so easy to stay up scrolling on tumblr until the sun comes up but getting enough sleep is so important mentally and physically!

find a skincare routine that works for you and remember too much skincare can be bad for your skin! my skin was breaking out the worst when i was using a bunch of skincare and It’s cleared so much since i simplified my routine.

use a lash/brow serum! my favorite brand is grande lash and it’s a little pricey but using castor oil works as well and it’s super affordable.

going on walks! I’ve never been a fan of intense exercises and I’m a chronic bed rotter but putting on my favorite hot girl playlist and strutting on the treadmill/sidewalk is genuinely so fun!

rosemary oil for hair growth! my holy grail of hair growth products along with a scalp massager. my whole life my hair grew so slow and since using rosemary oil i have to trim my bangs twice a month sometimes!

i cannot stress this one enough..wear what YOU want! don’t let new trends or judgment from others stop you from embracing your true style. we look our best when we feel most confident!

most importantly ~ take care of yourself! make sure you’re eating enough, drinking water, listening to your body and being gentle with yourself always. improving ourselves can be so fun but make sure it’s not at the expense of your mental health <3
