DPxDC Idea

Danny working at Wayne Enterprises as some sort of engineer, uses the in-house app for all his blueprints and stuff

He starts getting notes from a coworker in-app, and assumes its this annoying older guy in his department who constantly undermines him because of his age, despite his education and past achievements (i feel like in this AU the Fentons react well to the reveal and they work together on a number of non-lethal ecto inventions that have Danny's name attached to them)

Except one day his coworker mentions never using the app, and Danny suddenly realizes there's only one other TD he could've been arguing with in the notes of the app

A DPxDC soulmate au idea

So DCverse is a soulmate world (pick any soulmate way btw, words, touch, drawings on the skin, can't see color(s) until they see or touch them, etc etc)

DPverse doesn't.

Meaning Danny wasn't born with a soulmark BUT he gets one after becoming a halfa because he is now connected to the Infinite Realms.

SO its during another one of Vlad's schemes, he's popping into different worlds and stealing things or something like that (basically like that one ep where Danny chases Vlad through the timeline after he stole Frostbite's map)

During the chase they pop out into the DCverse in one of the hero cities (pick any, not picky on which) and their fight is getting a bit out of hand (Vlad's fault, he's using the stuff he's been stealing, and Danny is doing his best to getting innocent people from getting hurt)

ANYWAYS during the fight, one of the cities hero's come to try to help/find out whats going on when Danny is hit by Vlad and gets tossed at them. The moment they either touch or Danny/Soulmate says something to the other, Danny feels the odd mark on him burn up and is MEGA confused on whats going on but decides to do what he does best.

Ignore it for now. He'd figure it out later he still needs to stop Vlad.

He apologizes to the other hero and gets back into his fight, missing the look of complete smitten awe/shock said hero had on their face.

I can't rewrite this season but if it was up to me, I'd still have the Umbrellas sacrificing themselves to save the timeline and at the end we see the Umbrellas still alive, but they're all living different lives and perhaps with varied ages to show that its not their existence that caused the timeline to get fucked up, but the marigold that started everything.

The Umbrellas were always meant to exist and live, but it was the marigold that caused the timeline getting muddled and disrupted their existence. Without it, the Umbrellas (and every other kids that were created by the marigold) were able to be born and live their lifes normally like they were always meant to.

Would it still have a lot of plotholes? Yes. Would it make sense? Perhaps not but at least its better than what they implied with the ending which is very upsetting and dangerous the longer you think about it.

Yes the Shen siblings have a Type. But it is also Crutial to both characters that they absolutely hate their brother's version of said type.

Give me Shen Yuan ripping Yue Qingyuan a new asshole after he confesses why he wasn't able to come back for them to Shen Yuan but still refuses to tell Shen Jiu. Let Shen Yuan tear into him about how his actions are selfish and do not in any way benefit Shen Jiu because he cares more about his guilt that actually moving forward together with Shen Jiu. Give me Shen Yuan telling Yue Qingyuan that he "doesn't deserve Shen Jiu, but not for the reasons that he thinks" before laying out all the real reasons.

Give me Shen Jiu who notices Binghe's fixation of his brother increadibly early on and can't help but stay suspicious of this kid with obviously incredible potential and possibly dubious intentions. Who pushes Binghe into the abyss, not out of jealously, but in an attempt to permanently separate his brother from the -as he Just learned- demon that is obsessed with Shen Yuan.

In the Fallout show.. I would have loved n been 100% ok with the idea that THE BOMBS falling was caused by someone accidentally spilling coffee on a big red button console... just completely stupid chaotic accident that doesnt have to do anything with any faction, any state/nation, any company..something really stupid...maybe even with absurd Rube Goldberg machine scene...That, or never really knowing..never getting closer to any answers....ALAS... alas..
