A/N: remember when i said i was back? yea, i lied. i’m sorry, i’ve been in a slump recently and the only thing i can actually put in ideas into writing are headcanons so i’ll be posting them for a while.

- please, this donny has absolutely no idea how to turn the fob on for the absolute life of him

- he’s spent his whole life having house elves cook for him, what makes you think he would know anything about culinary

- but after hermione granger had become minister and set all house elves free, it was time for you to teach him how to cook

- you didn’t grow up posh like he did, so you definitely had the upper hand when it came to cooking experience

- you had purchased him an apron from homesense and forced him to wear it

- ‘i look stupid,’ he’d jut his lips out

- ‘oh trust me lovey, it’s not the apron’

- ‘hey!’

- you decided to start off easy, well, easy for you

- ‘right, lovey, all you have to do is fry up an egg. simple as that’

- he would look at the fob dumbfounded and nearly set off a gas explosion

- ‘we have wands, we can do magic. what’s the purpose of any of this’

- but your glare was enough to get him to shut up

- he’d yelp with the egg would splatter oil out of the pan, ever the one for dramatics

- finally, after what felt like ages, he would plate the egg on a plate and place it in front of you

- the egg was burnt around the edges and the yolk had broken when he was trying to break the eggs into the pan

- ‘go on then, have a bite’

- you would reluctantly taste a small piece while he would anticipate for your reaction with hope in his eyes

- ‘well? how is it?’

- he had put in so much effort into the egg that you just couldn’t tell it to his face that it tasted absolutely rank

- ‘it’s…good! different, from what i’m used to b-but, good’ you would give him two thumbs up and an extremely forced grin

- he would be so overjoyed but your response that he would not realise that you had spat the egg out into a napkin and tossed into the bin

- and of course he would be so over his head and think his cooking was fantastic

- and frankly, it wasn’t. it tasted like shit.

- ‘y/n! i made you some glazed chicken and sprouts’

- you would’ve just gotten home after a long day at the office and the last thing you wanted was to try your boyfriend’s horrendous whip up

- you would saw through the cardboard-texture of the overcooked chicken and take a bite

- ‘mm, it’s good, like mum makes it’

- ‘really?’ he would cheese and push the plate closer towards you, inviting you to finish the plate

- and you know what? finished that plate you did because you would do anything to put a smile on his face

THEODORE

- he would beg you to let him help out in the kitchen

- you were trying to bake a spiced cake to bring for family dinner

- ‘please, i just want to help’

- ‘fine. but you’re my sous-chef. i can’t have your aunt thinking i can’t bake, especially after last month’s disaster of a crumble. which by the way, i haven’t forgiven you for’

- what happened last month you may ask?

- well you had spent all afternoon making the best damn apple crumble you had ever made

- it was all going well till you were seated by the dining table and you dished up your pudding

- and who would’ve though that the crumble tasted salty

- ‘oh, well, you see. you were saying how you halved the amount of sugar the recipe recommended, and well, you know how much i love sugar so i decided to add some more when you weren’t looking, but i guess i put in salt instead’ theodore would smile sheepishly while ducking his head to prevent a slap to the back of it

- you swore you had to hold yourself back from stabbing him with the fork in your hand

- theodore’s aunt always had something to say about your cooking and you were sure theodore’s mistake would result in you not being able to ever hear the end of it for the next month

- ‘it’s not my fault sugar looks like salt…’ he would grumble when you gave him the silent treatment for the rest of the night

- i digress

- ‘i’ll just stand here and you tell me what to do. i won’t touch anything unless you tell me to, promise.’

- you would then pass the recipe over to theodore to get him to take out the ingredients from the cabinets while you busied yourself with preparing the pans and stand mixer

- ‘what the fuck’s star anus?’

- you would stop what you were doing and stared at him as if he’d grown a second head because yea, what the fuck was star anus?

- you would walk over to him to peer at the recipe book only for it to say ‘star anise’

- you would sigh and rub you hand your forehead, ‘anise, my love, it’s called star anise’

- you would pick out the small bottle off the spice rack and wave it in front of him

- ‘well that’s not my fault! who names something that has a similar spelling to anus!’

- ‘my love, you truly are something else,’ you would kiss his clothed chest and chuckle into it before returning to preheating the oven

- the first spiced cake had turned out horribly since theodore had mistakenly given you baking powder instead of soda

- luckily, you had planned for this so you had enough time to bake a second one, albeit after you had scolded theodore and forced him to stand in the corner of the kitchen and do nothing but watch

- ‘sorry y/n. love me?’ he would childishly whine while you placed the second cake into the oven

- ‘love you’ you would reluctantly say back and peck him on the lips as you walked past him

CEDRIC

- oh cedric’s a mummy’s boy through and through, so obviously he’d spent quite some time growing up helping his mother in the kitchen

- he is marvellous at cooking and honestly, is there anything that this man cannot do?

- expect breakfasts in bed every. day.

- ‘good morning, gorgeous’ you would awake with feather light kisses to your cheek

- cedric would hold out a tray to you with fresh cut fruits and a stack of perfect american pancakes

- if cedric were to find out there was any foods that you craved, expect to be well-fed and craving-satisfied instantly

- cedric had once admitted that he wasn’t too fond of cooking, but seeing your face light up whenever he served you a plate of your favourites was worth it

- seriously, does this man have any flaws?

- sometimes, when you were feeling it, you would join cedric in the kitchen

- such times led to fits of giggles and small food fights

- ‘gorgeous, look here,’ cedric would call out to you and you would turn your head to the side to look at him

- and as you turned your head, his batter coated finger would poke into your cheek, leaving a smear of mixture in its wake

- and you know what, maybe you weren’t too mad about it since any food fight would always end with you and cedric in the shower together

hi i’m rlly not good at writing angst in my own opinion and this is a little extreme for me so i’m gonna try my best but in the future (not upset at you at all btw) i’d appreciate not getting such intensely angsty asks (reader being severely injured, tortured, on the brink of death type stuff lol)

first of all, i think it is obvious that they would all be concerned and upset. that’s a given. i’m also assuming this happened during a battle of some kind with death eaters. and obviously don’t read if this scenario will upset you!!! xo

𝐜𝐞𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐜 would rush to your side to check on you and help you instead of focusing on the bad guys. not the smartest choice, but you are his first priority. he would find whoever had cast the curse and hex them back while cradling you to his chest. after the battle, he would be treating you very carefully, even though the physical pain is gone, he knows it mentally took a toll on you.

𝐝𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐨 would immediately attack whoever cast the curse, even if it was voldemort himself. i know everyone headcanons him as a coward, but i genuinely believe that he is in love with someone, he will protect them to the ends of the earth. he’d position himself so that he’s blocking you from any further attempts to curse you, shooting his own hexes at any enemy who comes near. after the battle, he would act like you were still severely injured, insisting on the best care for you.

𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐲 is literally going to jump in front of the wand before the curse can touch you. he has experienced the curse before and knows he can withstand the pain if it means protecting you. he would yell for you to run through his pained sounds, to get out of the heat of the battle and keep yourself safe. if you refuse, he won’t be angry, but he just worries about you so much. everyone close to him gets hurt, and he can’t lose you too.

"Mornin' bug" the outstretched hand of your boyfriend, Cedric, narrowly misses smacking you in the face as he yawns and stretches. Last night you had accidentally fallen asleep pressed right up against him, and though your mind was too sleep hazed to process it then, it was most definitely processing the embarrassment now.

His face was so close to yours as he muttered about this weird dream he had, and though you were sincerely trying to listen your mind was too busy running rampant. Helga, he's pretty. And despite his morning breath you still want to kiss him. His arm is holding you to him firmly, and if he can't see the blush coating your cheeks because of your own brain, he can most certainly feel the heat radiating off of them instead.

But instead of being your knight in shining armour, he takes it as his mission to further your flustered misery.

"Where's my morning kiss, bug, hmm?" he taps the side of his cheek expectantly, watching in amusement as you scrunch your eyes shut and do Godrick-knows-what to try and calm your racing heart. But he's still not done. Not yet at least.

A pained noise leaves your throat and your hand freezes in mid air, half trying to hide your face and somehow make this all be a wonderful dream, and half trying to push him away a little. His presence is suffocating you in a good way. And you like it. But you don't like that you like it.

Your abysmal decision making skills makes him laugh and he decides to give it up. Sitting up, he pulls the blanket off of the both of you. "You're fine, bug. I promise." he tells you, bringing you in for a comforting hug where he squeezes you tight. Grounding.

He has you sat on his lap and facing him with the way he was hugging you, not that you're in any position to notice with how fast your mind is going. "And i'm sorry for teasing... will you look at me now?" his hand pries your own away from your face, letting him get a good look at you. The eye contact somehow seems to ground you even more, and your thoughts slow to a pace where you can finally make them out.

"Are you going to speak to me now?" his smile is small, because if he truly smiles then he won't be able to hold back the laugh he's been holding down.

CEDRIC DIGGORY

- now he’s just the sweetest I love him. he’d know EXACTLY what to do to help you relax.

- (depending on what you like) he’d run you a hot bubble bath, put on a movie, cuddle with you, take you out on a dinner date or a picnic date, or he’d take you shopping etc.

- he’d hold you the whole night and tell you how proud of you he is and make you smile as much as possible.

- the next morning you better be ready for breakfast in the morning with the sweetest note and flowers next to it. he’d even cuddle you while you eat or give you a massage.

- literally a 100/10 I want him so bad.

DRACO MALFOY

- he might not appear as soft at first but he really is when you get to know him.

- he would try to distract you from the thing that was stressing you out so he’d put on a movie and prepare some snacks.

- then he’d cuddle you while you both watch the movie.

- he would fall asleep holding you and in the morning he’d bring you some breakfast in bed.

MATTHEO RIDDLE

- he can also be very sweet when you really get to know him and he always knows how to comfort you.

- he’d also distract you from whatever is stressing you out. he would take you to the slytherin common room at night when everyone is asleep and he’d cuddle you and read to you next to the fire place. he’d also make sure you have your hot cocoa and the softest blanket he could find.

- when he could tell you were tired he’d carry you back to his dorm and cuddle you to sleep.

- the next day he would make sure you have a great day and that you weren’t stressed anymore.

TOM RIDDLE

- now Tom riddle is sweeter after you’ve been together for a while BUT he’s still not very sweet.

- he’d act as if he doesn’t care at all but deep down he does a little.

- I feel like he’d go on a walk with you and let the nature take care of your stress so he doesn’t have to.

- at night he’d cuddle you as best as he could.

- the next morning wouldn’t be anything special, maybe he’d help you study if that’s what was causing your stress.

Headcanon.

Cedric cannot wake Sofia up from a nap for the life of him. He takes one look at her in her purple "I'm dreaming" sleep mask and all ambitions of waking her up go out the window. She sometimes over naps and misses a lesson, Cedric doesn't at all blame her, with her daily life he fully endorses her having a couple extra hours.

A thought: How Harry Potter deviated from the Norm: Cho Chang

While Cho definitely filled in the "exotic girl crush" character type, I didn't expect what JK Rowling did with it. (I'm aware that she's said some not so great/ politically correct things dw)

Honestly, It's kind of nice for the hero/MC to not get "the girl" for once. I genuinely think that Cho and Cedric had some chemistry. I feel like they were a great couple even though it's not really shown... I wish JK Rowling touched more on that
