Give me Bruce and Jason, who are not on the war path anymore, but they are still awkward and absolutely clueless on how to make things up, so they pretend that they need something from each other in order to spend some time together. Even if these things are absolutely simple, and both of them could handle it themselves, if they wanted to.

Bruce, sighing in relief: Theoretically, I will need you in Manor tomorrow in the morning. And I theoretically will pay for that.

Jason: Theoretically, see you tomorrow.

Bruce, knowing well that Jason wouldn't be caught in the first place, if he didn't want all of this to happen, and even if he did, he would easily escape without him, getting involved, but also knowing that today is anniversary of the day Bruce adopted Jason, and it is his way to spend time together: ...Okay. I forgot to post this about Oscar here the other day….

Oscar had an adventure today. He had his annual checkup at the vet. He was SO loud in the car, both ways. He made it known that he wasn’t happy. Lol. But he was so well behaved and got the all clear. He got his boosters and is good for another year. The vets were so sweet, making sure he has adjusted since losing his sister, and giving me hugs and condolences. Anyway, he’s happy to be back home. Lol.

I got my flu and Covid vaccines yesterday and boy am I feeling it. My arm is killing me and my fatigue is worse than usual. Yay immune response! /only partially sarcastic.

I’m all ready for Christmas and so excited. I wrapped all my gifts last night and helped mom wrap hers and dad’s this morning. Getting gifts is great, yeah, but I love giving presents. It brings me such joy to see someone open their present from me and be happy or excited about it.

i really need help

i've been putting off making a post like this for awhile now out of shame and embarrassment about asking for help, but... it is. truly undeniable that i could use some now.

to keep up with stacking bills i've been working and taking as many commissions as much as possible. on a regular workday i'll draw for an average of 6 - 8 hours a day, and it is quickly becoming apparent my wrist can not keep up with that kind of strain. on top of that, i've got a defunct car (forcing me + my disabled household to mostly get around via public transit & walking,) cavities that are giving me jaw pain, residual mold poisoning, and taxes that drained what little savings i had managed to amass. AND. the mental strain that comes with.... all of that.

i have been making massive strides in other areas of my life- finding ways to stay positive and hold onto hope- despite my depression and anxiety surrounding the entire situation. a little boost to get me back on my paws would quite literally change my life.
