I finally figured out what it was about IKSW that I didn't make a whole big splash about it unlike Casey's other two books. It's about the good, the bad and the ugly.

Shara had a secret. And to protect that secret she took an ugly, compicated, overcompensating road. Chloe wanted to define herself so went down with the 'Bad Bitch Deal With It'™ persona route. Smith figured out the clues about halfway through but kept silent. Most of the characters in IKSW do bad things, and as teenagers living in a stressful controlling environment, while it may not be justified, the source of their choices can absolutely be understood.

And that's something that's been missing in RWRB and OLS. Alex and Henry never do anything outright morally wrong. The OLS gang, as chaotic as they are, commit multiple felonies but not a moral wrong. Maybe they're grownups, maybe their circumstances are different, maybe Casey has progressed with their writing style. Either way, this is a new thing to have been introduced in the Mcquistonverse.

And let's face it, none of us likes having the ugly side of us being pointed out. And as brilliant an author Casey is, they've pointed something out to each of us that resonated, and those things are not necessarily sunshine and rainbows. Which means, we've put it away, let it wash over and forgotten about it. Because of course I'd rather read about Henry playing piano to Alex or Niko being a psychic plant dad than realize how angry and hurt and raging I've been as a teenager, and how much of that stemmed from the lack of emotional support from the people who were supposed to be it

TRAINTOBER | DAY 6 - Special Letters

It’s Tornado’s 10th Birthday but she’s broken and alone on a strange railway. As far as birthdays go, this is the worst one, however, a special letter does manage to cheer her up.

“You alright there steamie?” A voice asked her as she sat in this strange shed, miles from home with her wheels in stocks and parts of her in disarray.

“Do I look okay to you diesel?!” Tornado snapped at the Class 14 who flinched at how angry and disgruntled she sounded.

“Sorry, I was just trying to find out if there was anything I could do?” The Class 14 muttered as Tornado sniffed.

“Can you take me back home?” Tornado asked a glimmer of home in her voice. The Class 14 looked apologetically at the young steam engine.

“Sorry pet, I can’t do that,” he regretfully informed her.

Tornado was disenchanted and lowered her gaze to her buffers. She didn’t want this, this wanted to go home, she didn’t want to be in pieces so far away from home, she didn’t want to be in pieces at all.

“Is there anything else I can do, to cheer you up perhaps?” The diesel offered but Tornado sniffed as she felt tears slipping down her face. 

“I just want to go home,” she cried, her voice crackling as she dissolved into tears. “I want to be with my friends. I don’t want to spend my birthday like this!”

“It’s your birthday?” The diesel asked, unsure how to deal with the crying engine. “I can get some engines around, we can celebrate with you.”

“But I don’t know any of you! I want my friends!” Tornado wailed angrily. “I want my Trust! I want to be fixed!”

The diesel still stood awkwardly at her side, unsure how to interact with the young engine. They stood there, the air filled with tension until the human entrance to the shed opened with a metal screech. 

“Hey Tornado,” a small quiet voice called up to her. 

Tornado blinked the tears from her eyes and looked down to find the kind, gentle face of one of her engineers, Chloe.

“Have you come to take me home?” Tornado desperately asked. “Please, please take me home.”

Chloe’s face fell and she looked despondent.

“I can’t do that Tornado, I’m sorry,” she regretfully told Tornado. “I came to spend time with you, so you wouldn’t be alone.”

Tornado looked away from her, still upset but comforted by the fact that she at least would have someone she liked with her. She sniffed and blinked away the tears welling in her eyes.

“Thank you, Ms. Chloe,” Tornado quietly murmured. It wasn’t much, but at least one of her favourite engineers was here. 

Chole gave Tornado a reassuring pat on her buffer before turning away, rummaging through her bag and taking out an envelope stamped with a wax seal. 

“I would have brought you a cake but well, you don’t have a good history with cake,” Chloe half jokingly remarked. 

Tornado blushed pink and huffed in response.

“It’s not my fault, cake shouldn’t taste good and be bad for my pipes!” Tornado petulantly argued and Chloe chuckled. 

“You’re not the first engine who has a love-hate relationship with cake Tornado,” she giggled. “But yes, let's not clog your pipes with sugar sludge.”

Tornado just grumbled in response and refused to look at Chloe. She liked cake, sometimes she craved it in her firebox. It couldn’t be helped.

“Ms Olivia asked me to pass this on to you,” Chloe smiled. “She’s sorry that she can’t come by and see you, she’s on Sodor right now.”

“Oh, right,” Tornado mumbled as she turned her attention back to Chloe and the envelope in her hand. It had Oliva’s deep green wax seal on it and she smiled. At least Olivia hadn’t forgotten about her.

“May I sit on your buffer beam, Lady Tornado?” Chloe asked and Tornado smiled in agreement.

Chloe sat on her buffer beam so the Tornado could look over her head and read the letter. It was handwritten and Ms Olivia’s handwritten was old-fashioned, neat and cursive.

Dearest Tornado, The Young Iron of Darlington,

I hope this letter reaches you well, despite your accident. I am terribly sorry to hear of it and I know how much being broken upsets you. Fear not, however, for your Trust loves you dearly and will do everything it can to make sure that you are in the best health and back on the rails in due time.

Not only your Trust but people around the world are willing to help you and give money to make sure you are well. I want you to know that even though things might seem dark, things are going to get better, so stay strong and your patience will be rewarded. You are stronger than you know and you are an inspiration to many.

There are many engines out there across the globe who rejoiced when 10 years to this day, news broke of a brand new Steam Engine had awoken. Many of these engines had given up hope, they had been resigned to the fact that steam was no longer a part of this world yet you proved them wrong. You proved a lot of them wrong and you gave them hope, gave some of them a reason to live.

I think one of these engines was Flying Scotsman believe it or not. Although he would never admit it, Scotsman was one of these engines for the longest time. Meeting you and taking you under his wing… sparked something in him. For years, he’d been depressed, he’d been lost but the moment you came into his life there was a new fire in his firebox. You gave him a new purpose in his life. For you to have inspired the most famous engine in the world to want a new lease on life is no small feat.

I am honoured to have been your first driver, Tornado. Not because I was your first driver but because you gave me and a lot of your Trust a unique look at how engines work. It’s hard to believe that you only first began to run 10 years ago but it has been an amazing 10 years. 

It’s certainly been filled with trials and tribulations but they have only made you stronger. You are the pioneer for a new age of Steam Engines and I hope that you will lead it for decades into the future, long after we small humans who built you are gone from this world. 

It’s been a wonderful 10-years Tornado. I hope that the future is bright and full of perfect steaming days for you.

PS: Scotsman tried to leave to see you for today. He’s not fit to run long distances, but he made it as far as Manchester before we managed to stop his train. He’d managed to convince a couple of young upstarts to take him. He has been scolded and promptly scolded for his silliness. He asked me not to tell you this but I feel I should as it shows just how much he adores you. He’s looking forward to catching up with you, so make sure you push to be repaired soon!

Tornado laughed as she read the words of Scotsman’s escapade. 

"He risked damaging himself to come and see me?" She asked bewildered. 

“Scotsman loves you a lot!” Chloe beamed. “He was like that with a lot of the younger Peppercorns back in the day too!”

“Was he?” Tornado asked confused as to how she knew that and Chloe shifted uncomfortably on her beam. “Maybe I remind him of them.”

“Perhaps you do,” Chloe smiled up at Tornado. “Perhaps you do.”

First Day

Pre story,

It was the beginning of the new school year in Paris. It was a sunny day, perfect for the situation."So this is our new school huh? "said Marinette, staring at her school with an unreasonable expression with an even tone. She wore a blue chinese inspired shirt with a knee length brown skirt and shoes. She was still unsure about everything that happened.

"Come on sis it's not that bad. It could be fun!!" Judai pointed out, wearing a big grin on his face.He was wearing a brown jacket,a grey shirt and black pants. He was more excited about it. After all,he thought of it as an adventure. He also had a thermos full of hot chocolate.

"I hope you're right Judai."said Marinette with unease." Have I ever been wrong about something like this?"he asked confidently. She gave him a deadpan look"Do you really want me to answer that?".

Judai nervously chuckled"Fair point sis"he admitted.

They entered the building. Compared to their old school it was more new looking. It was also pretty large which made it easier to get lost. Finally they reached their new class room. There were a few students already there .

"Hey guys"Said a girl in a pink dress who waved to him. "Rose!!!"Judai grinned, happy to see the blonde girl. "How are you doing Lavillent?"Marinette asked, also happy to their friend.

"It's amazing!!!"she replied. "Everyone here is super nice except well... "She stops with her expression dulling a bit

She noticed it and asked"Should we be worried about something?" Rose kept quiet"It's nothing"

The twins go to their seats.They went to the 1st row to sit down.

" So you're the new kids, huh?"a boy beside them asked. He had a red baseball hat and wore glasses. He was in a black shirt with green pants.

"Yep!!! Name's Judai Yuki and the grumpy butt is my sister Marinette Cheng!" Judai answered with a smile. Marinette in contrast simply said "Hello" to the boy

The boy responded "Nice to meet you dudes! I'm Nino Lahiffe. "He said with a grin."Also fair warning about that seat.You dudes should think about moving"he warned.

"Why's that?"Marinette asked."Because you are in my seat,losers!!!" a blonde girl with sunglasses on her head said with a rude tone. She was in a white dress with a black belt and high heels. She looked annoyed with the duo.

"Sorry man, didn't know that seat was already taken."Judai said, genuinely apologetic about what happened. He rose to get up with Marinette doing the same.

The girl smiled at them smugly"Good you know your place. Now scram losers!! I swear this school has no standards"

They went to another seat. Marinette stared at her"Well she seems like something.."

"Yeah,that was Chole . She's the mayor's daughter and kind of a pain"Nino explained. "Best to avoid her"

"Thanks for the advice Lahiffe" Marinette said instantly wary of the blonde.

"It doesn't sound too hard"Judai added"We just stay out of her way. Plus this place seems easy to handle". Little did he know how wrong his words were

. Throughout the day Chole made it her mission to mess with them. The worst prank was the bubble gum in the locker key hole and the inside of a locker. That one was as annoying as it was in a way impressive.

Even not counting Chole,the day was still not a good one. They kept getting late to their classes and were pretty unprepared for the day. The only saving grace was lunch .

By the end of the day,the twins were tired.

"Pretty easy to handle,huh Judai?"Marinette said her voice,dripping in sarcasm. "I said I was wrong Mar"Judai said defeated by the day. "Buy hey"He countered"It wasn't all bad .After Rose is here and Nino seems pretty cool."

Marinette nodded in agreement "Touche ,but right now I just want to go home and get some designs done"

"Amen to that"

As they walked to the exit, someone bumped into Judai, making him spill some of his drink. Thankfully it was cold but unfortunately it landed on Chole.

"YOU!!!" She exclaimed to anger, looking at him. You'll pay for this Yuki!!" Judai sighed thinking "This is going to suck". Marinette meanwhile glares at her.

Sabine Cheng smiled."Welcome home, how was your day you two?" she smiled hoping it was good.

"Well it was something plus I kinda have someone who hates my guts, so yeah"Judai shrugged.

“Take a left here gotta make a pit stop”Sully directed Chole as she looked at him suspiciously before reluctantly taking the direction the man gave her Noticing that Nate also didn’t look like he had much notice about the sudden change

“Why are we at a coffee sho- hey where the hell are you going!?” Chloe called to middle age man as he walked into the small café while Nate quickly rushed behind him leaving Chloe to muttered incoherent curses under her breath before following behind the pair

“Sully are you gonna tell us why we’re here or did you just suddenly need a macchiato with espresso” Nate questioned as the two men stood by each other third in line while you and two other workers in green aprons worked around the counters

“You see that girl right their y/e/c, ponytail” He questioned the brunette while he squinted his eyes seemingly to get a better look at you nodding his head subconsciously before turning back to the man

“Yea shes pretty hot too” Nate acknowledged with a hum inspecting the girl as she worked with a small smirk on her face while she shook the cocktail shaker in her hands above her head straining the caffeinated drinking into the plastic cup swiftly sliding down the bar-like counter to a customer who grabbed a straw giving the girl a smile while they brought two fingers to their lips bringing them down to their heart they were a regular anyone could tell

“Well be careful, don’t wanna fall in the colleague Lover’s category pretty cliché don’t you think?” Sully replied while Nate practically was on the brink of whiplash the way his attention shifted to the man

“I’m sorry what!? Another person are you out of your goddamn mind Sully!?” Chloe raised her voice looking up at the man in disbelief drawing attention to the group in the small usually peaceful café

“Chloe you’re causing a scene” He dragged in a sing song voice not bothering to throw a glance at the girl while you had finally looked up from the coffee machine locking eyes with the man while he smirked at you waving his fingers in sync before you whispered something into the ear of you co-worker before walking faster than necessary out of view of the group

“Well she doesn’t look that happy to see you” Nate acknowledge while Sully slipped out of line Chole grungy followed them both while Sully walked into a door that clearly had employees only in boldly written letters that led to an outside alleyway

“Whatever happens next don’t get in it, let it go and just watch me risk my life” Sully sarcastically smiled as they slowly walked up to your standing figure while you smoked a cigarette with sunglasses on you face and a black leather jacket resting on your shoulders while your black combat boots tapped against the gravel underneath your feet

“Have fun sweetheart” Nate threw the sarcasm back at the older man stopping close enough to get a good view but far enough not to be caught in the crossfire

“See you dyed your hair, aww haven’t you grown up” Sully taunted while you let the nicotine hit you lungs before blowing the smoke back out into the air

“Come on y/n/n, you’re my buddy my old pal” Sully pushed as you continued to ignore the man before letting the cigarette drop out of your fingertips before crushing it under your boot finally bringing your gaze to face the man before you continued to walk away

“Come on you can’t ignore me forever” Finally your last straw was feeling his fingertips gazed your shoulder blade while you bit the inside of your cheek nodding slowly and for a minute Nate thought you completely agreed without restraint

That was until you you punched Sully square clean in the jaw taking the arm that rested on your bringing it behind his back while he let out a low groan while you stood behind him threatening to break his collarbone and forearm at the same time all in once

“I know I had it coming for me” He grunted before sweeping his leg from under your feet knocking you off balance as you landed on the gravel before bringing your hands above your head pushing your body up while your feet landed on the ground quickly throwing a kick to the man’s side with a thud while he hauled over you ran full force jumping on the man’s back before propelling your body Weight up and onto the man’s shoulders wrapping your legs around his neck while one of your hands grabbed a pipe above your head while the other pressed a dagger towards his neck

“Which way do you want to die you want me to snap your neck or slit your throat” You offered while Sully clawed at your clothed thighs while you cut of his air circulation

“You’ll know I-I can’t find the gold without you Y/n please don’t do it for me do i-it for your s-sister” He choked gasping for air it was a while just as the man started to turn blue you finally let him go hopping down from his shoulders as he gasped for air before you grabbed the man by the collar of his jacket staring into his eyes that you’d grown to hate

“I’m only doing this for my sister Victor never think for a second in your small little pea brain that I’m here for anything but that mate” You finally pushed the man back from you before you began to walk out the alleyway coming into eye contact with Nate and Chole as you let out a humorous-less laugh nodding your head before turning back around going back over to Sully who were doubled over as he looked up at you with his eyes squinted before you swung you leg back kicking the man in his pelvis as he fell to the floor groaning rolling around like her were on fire

“Come on, that was a low blow!” He shouted as you began to resume your walking out of the alleyway passing both Nate and Chloe putting your sunglasses back on your face not acknowledging the pair before Nate jogged over to his coworker who clutched his knees to his chest

“Sorry think I’m just gonna have to fall into that category even with it being a cliché and all” Nate stated amused while lending a hand out to Sully which he took propelling himself up wobbling slightly at the burning feeling in his upper thighs

“You know I almost felt bad for you” Chole responded with a small smile on her face at the man’s struggle while he looked down at her in horror shaking his head before beginning to limp out of the alley to the parking lot with a laughing Nate at his side

“I’m sweaty, hot, and hungry put icy hot on your dick and get over it now come on” You raised your voice loud enough for the group to hear as you leaned against Chloe’s car tapping your foot against the concrete

“Oh you’re definitely hot sweetheart” Nate muttered under his breath with a small smile while Chloe looked at the man in disgust shaking her head before grabbing her keys out of her pocket

“I found my cross in a crypt in genoa but I didn’t know it was a key to a much bigger fortune Sully knew and here we are… Doesn’t say what happens after we turn the keys ‘Trust in your fellow man for one will go to heaven and the other to hell’.” Chole spoke reading over the practically ancient journal

“Well it’s ironic as the only point in having two keys was that the 18, didn’t trust each other” Nate stated passing out glasses of red wine when he finally got to you he stood tall with a small smile on his face

“Oh you’re adorable” You smiled before taking the bottle instead of the cup holding it by its handle downing a good 1/4th of it before before sitting back on the counter

“Or chug it down like your on spring break. All good” Sully put his hands up in surrender as he continued to sip on his own glass a whine you rolled your eyes before you got up from your seat and passed the man taking his previous position on the couch which he complained about of course having no interest in the mam or the conversation you ignored him continuing to make yourself comfortable while Nate laughed light and Chole smirked at the scene

Nate got a sudden boost of confidence as he set his now empty wine glass against the counter making his way over to you before he lifted your legs sitting down next to your laying figure while he rested your legs on his thighs while you stared at him for a while and Nate started to get nervous under your gaze before you shook your head muttering something incoherent and turning your head facing the couch cushion

Somewhere in that time Nate started to subconsciously rub your legs and as the time passed you started to feel yourself blinking slower and your breaths get lighter and soon enough your closed as your body started to go limp and Nate acknowledge the heavier weight that set on his thighs before returning back to his Conversion with Nate and Chole

It took energy and a toll on your shoulders being a shot of espresso but Nate was willing to handle

I was bored in lockdown (2020) and wanted to do social media but but also not, at the same time lmao

Oh yeah. I have a sixth sense with uncanny presences, whether friendly or otherwise. And aliens defn exist, though more probably in plant or microbe forms, judging by the universe's timeline and the point of earth's creation in it.

25. fave season and why?

Winter. Blankets and the sunshine feels good and outside work feels exciting with the lack of heat waves.

Blue and green shades. Esp that green wait

We see when Arthur held Lewis locket the picture in it changed right?

Soo I know when people died and became a ghost in stories (blame my childhood of being a fan of Casper the friendly ghost movies and cartoons as well as liking beetle juice movie/ cartoon as well as other ghost themed cartoons/anime/comics/anime/manga) the ghost doesn’t always have a correct memory of how they died until a living soul helps them piece together what really happened to them

Heck man it’s only now people realise that in times in great stress/ trauma most peoples don’t always remember what really went wrong or the memories end up being wrong or flawed (there have been studies)

What if Lewis hadn’t even dated Vivi yet; like he really loves/likes her but what if he never told her he liked her yet? Like the group are all friends and a great team but Lewis never told vivi that he liked her and Vivi seemed like she was more focused on studying the paranormal wasn’t interested in dating? She might of liked Lewis back maybe

But Lewis death wish not only made her forget his death but is way to easy for his death wish to keep making her forget Lewis altogether;; it’s a lot harder to make a person forget they were in a romantic relationship with;;

Also being as Arthur was possessed and apparently Arthur seems to something gets alot paranormal seems to get drawn to him alot but was the last thing Lewis saw was Arthur but in his mind he didn’t look at the green coming up Arthurs arm and half his face he just couldn’t understand why his best friend pushed him off the cliff so he figured Arthur wanted to date Vivi and wanted him out of the way (but Arthur wasn’t after vivi at all (I mean I’m a Lewvithir shipper but when Lewis went missing Arthur didn’t even try to date vivi and was trying to find him and get vivi to remember him the hold time; he himself being as he was possessed at the time has no idea Lewis was dead that’s why in hellbent and the beginning of the future he says Lewis name in shock surprise and doesn’t even fight him & just gives a shock look like he can’t believe Lewis is dead look) ) so Lewis may have forgotten that him and vivi never even dated but thinks they did because he liked her so much?

Also the fact the van belongs to Arthur and not Lewis means Arthur knew Lewis liked vivi and would let Lewis drive the van to try and impress vivi but vivi isn’t the type to be easily impressed just by being good at driving!

I also think but I’m not sure it’s just a guess but I feel like vivi’s coworker at comic / book shop she works at when not out studying the paranormal

Think her name is Chloe? I know she’s obsessed with the idea with having some undead/ demon boyfriend; I have this guess she was mucking around with some sort of summoning thing and woke up reverb that was in that cave who in turn started to possess Arthur because Arthur Lewis Vivi and even mystery didn’t break any wards while in the cave

Like just walking into a cave doesn’t normally get you possessed; because if that was the case all of them would of gotten possessed or mystery would of keep them from walking into that cave right?

I mean I think I herd somewhere that Chole wanted to join the mystery skulls team to find herself an undead/ demon husband/ boyfriend but Vivi said she was too young and also didn’t think wanting to join the team for those reasons wasn’t a good idea being as the paranormal can be very unsafe

Just some thought I’d got running around my head atm but if any of these things are true

It would one explain why vivi keeps forgetting about Lewis

Two explain why Lewis locket picture changed to the hold mystery skulls team then to just him and vivi

And three Chole mucking around with dark arts/paranormal without a total clue how dangerous that is because you could summon something very nasty and ended up bringing about Reverb

It would mean maybe by accident Chole would be responsible for summoning Reverb evil that possessed Arthur and caused Lewis death!

I mean Chole having a hold lota green as her outfit and well reverb is well all green I believe the 2 are linked

General Appearance: The first thing anyone notices about Chloe is her MASS of dark brown curls, combining her mother's hair color with her father's curls. She will also inherit Michael's height, topping six feet by the time she's done growing. Hazel eyes echo her mother, but if anyone looks closer, right around her pupils is a ring of blue-green that reflects her father, as well as a soft brown that sometimes appears on the outside edges of her eyes.

Personality: Precocious and playful, Chloe echoes her father's laid-back attitude toward life. Rarely one to take anything seriously, Chole almost always manages to skate through life with the same charm, and wit that has served her father so well over the years.

100 ms. rawa (sooji) (optional)

Cured - 100 gm. (1/2 cup)

3/4 tea spoon salt.

Sugar - 1/2 tea spoon.

1 tea spoon baking powder.

To fry, use oil.

Ingredients for Chana Masala

Kabuli Chana - 1 bowl (150 gms).

Baking soda - 1/4 tea spoon.

1 tea bag (if you don't have a tea bag, wrap some tea onto a white handkerchief)

3-4 tomatoes

3-4 green chilies

Ginger, cut into 1 inch pieces.

Refined oil - 2 table spoon.

Cumin seeds - 1/2 tea spoon.

Anar dana - 1/2 tea spoon.

1 tea spoon coriander powder.

Red chilli powder - 1/2 tea spoon.

1/2 tea spoon garam masala.

Miraculous Fantasy AU! Chapter One

Plot: Marinette sneaks into the masquerade ball celebrating Prince Adrien's coronation and she shares a dance with him. They develop a spark between them but get separated when a giant monster tears apart the castle! Marinette must search for him as she travels across the country. Along her travels, she meets a vigilante hero, the Black Cat! In her search for her prince, she gains magic powers from the fae and must use the help of her fine friend on a quest to save the kingdom from peril as monsters emerge.

The ballroom’s floor is so shiny Marinette can see her reflection, and there is a sea of people in the most stunning gowns. They all have such elaborate masks, she can’t help but feel a bit out of place. She made her dress months in advance and it took all the money she earned helping at her parents' bakery. The dress is a simple red gown with off-the-shoulder sleeves. She added a bit of black lace trim and a few ribbons. The room is decorated with long rows of mirrors and chandeliers illuminate everything. The gilded walls shine and everything glitters under the light. Overwhelmed by the sudden change in scenery, she nearly trips into another girl. 

“Watch where you’re going!” Marinette stares up at the blond girl she bumped into. Her dress was white with gold embellishments that matched her fan, very gorgeous. Her hair was done up with flowers and bows, she looked absolutely stunning. 

“I’m sorry, I didn’t see you through my mask-“ Marinette tried to explain, “save it! I don’t care what your excuse is.” The lady narrows her eyes down at Marinette and looks her up and down. 

“Judging by the flour on your dress, plain cloth, and no heels, you must be a sneaky little servant girl. Why don’t you go back to the kitchen and fetch me some wine, baker girl?” Marinette opened her mouth to speak but then someone stepped between them. 

“Mademoiselle Chloe, how nice of you to come,” someone in a white suit came over and greeted Chole. Marinette rolls her eyes and sneaks off before she gets caught, again. Perhaps, this was a mistake. She couldn’t help herself though, the thought of feeling like a princess excited her, and this could be her only chance to live out her fantasy. She snuck in through one of the servants' entrances and passed herself off as a new maid. Once inside, she changed into her ball gown and entered the part undetected. Marinette mutters angrily as she gets some punch. 

A light tap on her shoulder caught her off guard and she turns around to be met with forest-green eyes. “Excuse me, miss. I’m sorry if Chloe said anything to you-“

“Why can’t she tell me that herself? Too busy admiring her own reflection?” Marinette stares past the young gentleman and examines Chloe checking her reflection in a little compact. 

The boy chuckles and then clears his throat, “You’re right, I just wanted to make sure you were okay. I’d hate to have anyone hurt here. I didn’t catch your name?” 

Marinette looks back at him. His suit is white along with his mask. It resembled Chloe’s dress a bit, the embroidered work was remarkable. Perhaps this was her escort? “My name is Marinette!”

“It’s nice to meet you,” he grabs her hand and gently brings it to his lips, “Marinette.” 

“You too…” Before she could ask for his name, music filled the gilded room and the mysterious gentleman whisks her away to the dance floor. 

“May I have this dance?” He bows and she courtesies in response. They begin to waltz. Her hand shakes inside of his and she tries to focus on her feet to make sure she doesn’t step on his shiny white shoes. There’s no way she could pass herself off as a maiden, especially not when she was outed as a baker girl instantly.

“Don’t worry, you’re doing great,” he whispers to her. He spins her out from him and delicately pulls her back into his arms. 

“Thank you,” they move across the marble tiled floor. The light from the brilliant chandeliers flickered as they float across the dance floor. Even the people were tinted gold. Everything the light touches instantly becomes warm and ornate. Marinette felt she was being watched but couldn’t tell from the sea of masks. Other couples danced but there was a crowd that hung onto her and the mysterious guest.  

“Where are you from?” he guides her attention back

“I live just outside the city walls, I’m from the countryside.”

“Oh wow! What brings you to the palace?”

“Truthfully, I had to deliver some baked goods for tonight. Your ‘mademoiselle’ was right, I snuck in to see the coronation.” 

“Why?” 

“I always wanted to see the palace. Truth is, I love making gowns and I want to start my own boutique. I hoped to see some fancy outfits and enjoy the party. I never intended any harm, I was looking for inspiration.” 

It feels like they’re the only ones in the room, everyone else begins to fade out. “Have you found it?” 

“Well,” she notices Chloe staring at her with a scowl. She must be jealous, this must be a suitor of hers or something, not anymore though. “I love seeing such beautiful clothes up close. I certainly have found more inspiration for my designs.” 

Her dance partner nods his head as they glide through the box step. “And what about the prince?”

"What about him? I hear he has the most beautiful eyes, luscious hair, and the best smile, but no person can be that perfect. I mean, he’s just some guy at the end of the day, I don’t get the fuss. Does it matter how he looks? What about how he rules the country? I could care less honestly.” 

At this moment she takes in her dance partner, under his mask are vibrant green eyes. His smile is genuine and his hair is the color of a golden wheat field. His outfit was stunning, she couldn’t have tailored a better suit herself. He was very regal in appearance, he must be someone important. 

He laughs as they dance. “Oh, is that so? I hear he has quite the fan club! I assume you’re not a part of it?” 

“I hope he lives up to their expectations, or they’ll all be broken-hearted.” 

He pulls her in closer as he dips her in his arms. With one hand he tips his mask up, “Would you say I met your expectations, mademoiselle Marinette?” 

Marinette almost collapses as Prince Adrien pulls her up and holds her against him. He pulls his mask back down and her face flushes. “I’m… I’m so sorry- I-“

“Don’t be, I appreciate your honesty. You’re a lovely dance partner. I hope to visit your boutique one day.”

Marinette is at a loss for words. Her blue eyes widen in disbelief and she feels herself growing faint. “Please forgive me, you’re majesty. I should have known-“

He holds her hand gently, “you’re already forgiven. I hope you enjoy tonight. Will I dance with you again?” The music stops and everyone applauds the orchestra. Marinette lets go of Adrien's hand and runs off out of the ballroom, she leaves behind in her wake a piece of scarlet fabric from her dress as she stepped on it while running. 

Adrien attempts to chase after her but is left in the dust holding a red scrap of fabric as other women attempt to get his attention. The rest of the night he looks for her, but cannot get away. 

The coronation comes, and Adrien is crowned prince of France. He looks for the raven-haired girl he danced with but cannot find her anywhere.

Just outside, before she can reach the palace doors a hand grabs her wrist. She sees a tall boy, almost identical to Prince Adrien. 

“Where do you think you’re going? The party is just about to start.” 

She catches her breath, “Please let me go, I just wish to step outside for some fresh air!”

“But you’ll miss the best part if you leave now, come with me.” He rests his arm on the small of her back and leads her back into the ballroom. “We wouldn’t want that, would we?”

Marinette struggles against him and urges him to let go but he ignores her. She watches as Adrien gets crowned by his father. He really is as perfect as his troupe of ladies in waiting say he is. 

He spots her as she returns to the ballroom. He smiles but then grimaces once he sees who she’s with- Felix. Felix is Adrien’s cousin, who is also in line for the throne. They used to be close but lately, Felix has been cold and distant. 

Adrien is about to recite his coronation oath when the ground shakes and the palace floor cracks open. A huge burst of energy fills the room and everyone begins to run screaming. A horrifying monster crawls out of the ground. A beast with horns and a ferocious roar emerges. Adrien’s father urges his son to run to safety but he runs after Marinette. 

Marinette runs far away from the palace and everyone is screaming and the castle is falling apart. Adrien runs outside and finds Marinette watching the castle come crashing down outside the gates. He grabs her hand and runs out with her. “Come on! We need to get out of here!” She looks at him and begins to run. They run as fast as they can but in the surge of people panicking they get separated. The crowd splits them apart and they cannot reach one another. 

“Marinette!” Adrien shouts. 

“Prince Adrien, I am over here!” She waves her hands frantically. 

He reaches out to her but it's no use, he cannot get through the crowd. “Find me in the next town over! I’ll be waiting.” 

“I’ll find you!” She loses sight of him as she's forced to go with the crowd. Eventually, she's able to take a rest and looks back. The castle is gone, and the city is in flames. The next town over is a day's walk without a horse. She longs to see Adrien again but it's unlikely, and how will she get home? She wasn’t supposed to be at the castle, they are going to be worried sick! This was a mistake.

This is a concept for a live-action Justice League Tv Series that could be adapted on something like HBO MAX or a another network or streaming. This series would be in the same universe as the Batman Tv series I’ve been developing on here.

Seeing if this was on streaming TV series the episode count would be anywhere from 8-13. For the first season will go with 10. Each episode is about 59 minutes, and all give a little summary for each episode.

This series will take place between season three and four of the Batman Tv series that’s on my master list.

1.World Finest Pt. 1:

- Bruce travels to Metropolis to investigate a lead he has on a secret case file. He stops a weapons deal and is met by the Man of Steep himself. Bruce much do his dismay decides to enlist Clark help due to the nature of the weapons which are not man made.

-The two undcover information about Brainiac and decide they’ll need more help to stop this invader.

2. Earth’s Finest Pt. 2:

-The two track down Wonder Woman an immortal warrior to help them with Brainiac plan to take over the planet.

-They return to Metropolis where Lex Luthor has enlisted several of the trinity’s rogues gallery to stop them.

-A new hero that goes by Martin Manhunter arrives with in time to help the Trinity.

3. There’s More:

-Superman recalls his arrival to Earth,and Manhunter tells him how his home as well as Superman’s was really destroyed and it was all thanks to Brainiac.

-The Flash calls his old friend from Coast City to look into a alien he stopped a few nights ago in Star Labs custody.

-Aquaman resurfaces after several of Brainiac’s men attempt to break into Atlantis.

4.I in Team:

-The alien from Star Labs awakes and breaks from his cell. The Flash and Green Lantern track him down in Metropolis.

-Aquaman warns the other heroes that whatever space invasion they come across needs to stay out of his waters,or they’ll be hell to pay.

-The heroes join forces to stop the mutated alien from Star Labs. Batman realizes that sometimes working in a team could get the mission down faster.

5. Backup Plan:

-Doomsday,Deathstroke, and Reverse Flash have been set free from their respective incarnations and are set to keep the newly formed heroes busy while Brainiac finishes his plan.

- Nightwing calls his old friends Kid Flash and Aqualad to assist him to look into a series of alien attacks in Bludheaven.

7. Girl of Steel:

- Clark learns he’s not the sole survivor from Krypton anymore with the discovery of his cousin Kara who has been held captive and brainwashed by Brainiac.

-Donna Troy arrives in Bludheaven to help the boys with the last alien attacks in city.

-Now free from Brainiac Kara tells the Justice League the truth about Krypton and just how dangerous Brainiac can be.

8. Young Justice:

-While the mentors are trying to find out where Brainiac will strike next Batman assist Nightwing a mission for him and the other young heroes.

-Nightwing and the team travel to Santa Prisca to stop another alien weapons deal but are ambushed by Vandal Savage and Bane.

9.And So It Begins….:

-Brainiac has arrived and has launched his army on Earth, the Justice League and Supergirl go into battle.

- Young Justice rally and stop Bane but Savage escapes;Superman and Batman get on the Mother Ship and come face to face with Braniac.

10.War and Peace:

-Wonder Woman instructs Young Justice to assist on Earth with Flash and Aquaman while she and Supergirl go onto the ship to rescue Batman and Superman.

-Batgirl arrives Black Canary with a device that can magnify the Canary cry which painful to Braniac’s aliens. Green Arrow assists the remaining JL members and the young heroes on the ground with the invasion.

-The Trinity fight Brainiac on his ship and with their efforts as well as the other heroes Brainiac retreats the planet.

End Credits/ Director Notes:

Filming for the series would take place in Liverpool U.K. or London for Metropolis and Washington D.C. would be CGI for the first few scenes for Wonder Woman.

In this Universe the team of Young Justice is hinted at but is not formed until later in the timeline.

Superman and Batman have already met in this universe. Superman as of the first 5 seasons of the Batman Tv series hadn’t physically appeared and won’t until Season 6. Even though the events of season 1 the JL series takes place in the past.

Wally and Dick met sometime after the later became Robin.

Black Canary has already met Batgirl and Batman in Gotham before she moved to Starling City.

Much like Batman in most versions Wonder Woman has rarely been seen in person and not much photons exist of her.

Most of this season takes place in Metropolis.
