Just realised the Pulp Fiction dance is an homage to Fellini’s 8 1/2. Even the looks of Mia Wallace (Uma Thurman) could be a direct reference to the character of Gloria Morin (Barbara Steele).
I just figured this out because I had never seen 8 1/2 till yesterday at a 60th anniversary screening. The 4K restoration looks gorgeous on the big screen ❤️
