Cis-passing (or simply passing): a transgender person’s ability to be correctly perceived as the gender they identify as and beyond that, to not be perceived as transgender; to be passable as cisgender.

Trans-passing Pride Flag

Trans-passing (or non-passing): a transgender person's ability to be perceived as transgender; or a person who is perceived as trans despite not being one.

Started crying this morning over just how overwhelming proud I am every time I remember how that tiny child that was hated and abused by all of his kingdom aside from one, that was so unnaturally small and so utterly powerless, that was suffering so badly he wanted to die—to scorn the world and then never return…became one the most powerful (and wealthy) men in all the three realms, so strong that even the heavenly emperor himself is wary of his power, so strong that only three others could ever rival him. Became the ruler of his own city—a city he built himself from the ground up, a city of misfits and monsters, of those lost and tossed aside by the world. A city where he is adored and respected greatly by all. Became so intent on remaining in this world that he defied and rejected death three times, looked it in the eye and firmly refused.

every time i see that post chiding trans men for using women's restrooms i want to chew on somebody's head. you think i LIKE using the women's restroom? you think i LIKE having to make a grim hobson's choice of "which bathroom is least likely to get me yelled at" every time i need to pee? i'm fucking flabbergasted that this is seen as "men invading female spaces" or "AFABs flexing their privilege" as opposed to, oh idk, a vulnerable group of people doing their level best to avoid being harassed and assaulted. like we are not the ones in the wrong here

how do i explain to certain trans men that being considered one of the bros does not mean they have access to something that definitionally means having systemic power over every woman and trans person. no you dont have male privilige. try arguing that again when you create a world in which trans men dont face misogyny. you cant have male privilige if you are still in a world where you are barred from abortion

Something I hate about my school is that the only accessible bathrooms are also the gender neutral ones. And there is one. One bathroom. Which means not only do all the disabled people who need that bigger bathroom having to share one and hope to god the toilet doesn’t break or anything, but also tons of trans students use it. And I’m trans too, so I get it, and i’m not mad at the trans students.

I am mad at the school though. Like seriously, ONE bathroom?? Not counting myself I know 7 other disabled people who need that bathroom. Plus all of the trans people who don’t feel comfortable or safe in the gendered bathrooms. Why the fuck would they only put one? And the school is brand new too. Like it’s not a matter of “oh they built the school in the 60s” it was built literally two years ago. Absolutely unacceptable.

I’m on the Banyue arc, and the sandstorm scene… Oh I can only imagine what Hua Cheng was feeling when Xie Lian got pulled up. The sheer panic at having the person you love with all your being, who you’ve been looking for for 800 years, who you’ve been worrying about for all that time, hoping he’s okay, who he’s finally found again, only for him to vanish right in front of you, pulled up out of your reach. I bet as soon as he saw Rouye, he grabbed it as a fast as he could and let it pull him up to Xie Lian. Yeah, Ruoye might have sought him out, but Hua Cheng definitely had a hand in it too.

And then the scorpion snake scene… the fact that Xie Lian got stung to save him… Oh poor baby is beating himself up.
