i’ve been avoiding buying clothes for a long time bc Ugh but i’m doing it today bc i need some new basic things before going on this fancy cruise with my parents. dropped $300 in the first store. why is everything in the world so expensive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
#telling myself this is fine bc i haven’t bought myself new shit in years#and none of my jeans fit right anymore#so those are necessities#i still need to go to the shoe store bc my sketchers are like ten years old#and i got them at bealls#so i need nice clean sneakers and maybe some nice flats#idk how my parents will feel about me wearing my docs on the cruise even though i think they’re nice#fuck it! it’ll be cold so boots are normal and acceptable right#this suuuuuuuucks this suucks so bad#also i don’t consider myself to be that fat#like i definitely am a little bit but im really not that big i think im kind of average maybe a little above#but im consistently the largest size at these stores#how does anyone bigger than me buy clothes#like this is so ridiculous#im a 16/18/XL in women’s an L/XL in men’s#like this is a normal average size to be; and yet they only stock up to a 16 usually. i found one pair of pants in a 20#unbelievable shit happening at the gap

#i hate public transport in my uni city sometimes#when it's so stuffed the worst#especially today it was horrible a normal line is in construction so instead there was just this tiny bus to fit everyone in 😩#like 4 lines normaly in 1 bus 🤦♀️#there are few things i hate more#it was suffocating#i get claustrophobia i mean not really but yknow what i mean#when you can't move and are pressed against others 😵💫#and it was sooo hot i was sweating sm#like this type of heat is way worse than summer heat for me#i was also wearing an undershirt a sweater and a leather jacket 🫠#because outside it's not that warm but they always have to heat the buses sm somehow 🥲#you always wear the wrong clothes for outside or for public transport 🤣 you can’t get it right#and then suddenly it smelled like mold wtf the smells in public transport are sth 🙂#nah but felt like collapsing like i felt physically ill being inside of this bus#it's so miserable going back i will take any long route or even walk to not have to do this again#rant#ignore lol

#do not worry my basket has only sale clothes in it#im in the new uniqlo in covent garden and its SO busy#its a big shop but there's only 2 fitting rooms so the queue is very long#i like uniqlo clothes they r nice and if u go at the right time and look in the sales they don't have to be too expensive#plus the menswear is normally pretty decent#so i like looking in there for t-shirts and stuff

okay, SHOCK AND DELIGHT, the triangles are actually the right size. tried on the skirt and it fits pretty perfectly. granted I didn't try it on with a shirt tucked in, but I'll just make sure I don't try and tuck a thick shirt into this.

Time to overshare onliiiiiiiiine! 🎶
I got my blood test back!! I do have a few levels that aren’t right, bilirubin (to be expected! I’ve got Gilbert’s syndrome so that’s normal), insufficient vitamin d (lol), aaaaand then a few things that indicate kidney disease or a possible kidney infection. Which the kidney disease would explain the infrequent kidney pain I’ve been having for… like a decade…. But I’m a little 🤔 about the results, because being dehydration can also cause those results. But I drank a lot of water the day before and the day of to make sure I *wouldnt* be dehydrated and could actually pee for my urine test lol. So I don’t think it makes sense for me to be dehydrated! And if I am, why tf is this water not hydrating me? That doesn’t really make sense. So idk! But I’ve gotten some answers for once so that’s definitely a step in the right direction : D
#kidney disease SOUNDS bad but I don’t think it’s terrible!#basically just means I might have a lot of cysts which may need to be removed#we shall see I guess#I’ll be happy to finally have my normal stomach back#I’m tired of being uncomfortably swollen and bloated all the time#i want my clothes to fit right again lol

#my father is once again on me about every choice I have ever made in my life#and my mother bought me clothes that are exclusively a size too small after asking me my sizing in front of the full family on thanksgiving#‘so that nothing is too small and you don’t have a freak out on Christmas’#the other update is that I am trapped here until Friday because they scheduled family events without asking me my plans#and now I’m stuck at home with not enough normal clothing and no new clothing that fits until Friday :)))#I also don’t have my laptop with me for dnd on Thursday#or enough meds to last me until then#but hooray Christmas#my stuff#molly complains about stupid shit#and has already broken down crying TWICE about ruining the holidays for her family#have I mentioned I also don’t have any presents to give this year and feel like absolute shit about it?#very close to printing out a ‘best I can do is not killing myself’ sign and taping it to my back#please don’t get me wrong I appreciate the thought#but my mother now feels awful and is internalizing that she has ruined Christmas by buying me a size too small in everything#so that just makes me feel more awful#especially in a family that has so much to say about my body all of the time (none of it positive or even neutral)#I would kill to have a sibling other than my brother who could take some of the attention off of me right about now… oh wait#🙃
