Caliginous - misty, dark

This word comes from the Greek word dithyrambos which was the name for a wild and irregular poem honoring Dionysus, the god of wine, who was often lauded throughout the year during festivals at which poems of this style were read.

Since then, Blood Fruit Library has evolved and migrated across neighborhoods in order to work together with varying neighbors and friends. As always, we are committed to sharing and preserving the words of those we agree and, inevitably, disagree with who have published their own thoughts for our reflection. We believe these written words can serve as a jumping off point for our own discussions with others, helping us build networks of affinity. We invite you to share your own favorite readings with the library (be they in the form of pamphlets, zines, books, digital articles, posters), so that we are learning and sharing together. Although, we are amoebic in nature - moving, shape-shifting, and changing as we respond to the world around us, we continue our efforts to always offer a tangible "place" in addition to the books. We don't want another atomized pocket of learning through isolated book-reading. We want to always combine book sharing with human connection. A book is just a book. My two spreads for Almost Real Volume 5: MYTHOLOGY! You KNOW I had to do an entry for sphinxes!

This is a combination of the work I've done for Skin Deep sphinxes as well as its own thing set in a world where mythical creatures are known but still largely a mystery to science. I leaned hard into the Zoobooks aesthetic for this, one of my favorite parts of those magazines were the anatomy drawings so I wanted to do one just like it!

Guys! I just had the most brilliant save-the-life-of-a-fanfic-author idea while despairing over information I wrote in my fic once and can't find anymore because the fic is 240k long with 60 chapters all with their own Word document.

I just went on Ao3, pushed the entire work button and downloaded a PDF version of my fic! Now I have a documment with 460 pages that I can search through easily without despairing over untitled word documents. 😭 You can do that 10 second task instead of painstakingly going through your documents and combining them together, too.

I'm sure not everyone writes that way to need that advice and many people probably had the same idea already but I never saw it on author spaces here on tumblr so I'm gonna tag @ao3commentoftheday for this.

Extended StandardMaterial Shader for the Sims 2

A Shader Edit/Default Replacement "StandardMaterial" is the shader commonly used by sims objects. It tells the game how to render them, and by default offers features such as making them glowy or transparent. However, most of its effects apply to the whole material at once. I figured out how to edit it! So here is my improved version. It now supports: - An "additive" texture map, lighting up specific areas of the material. - An envCube mask, controlling the intensity of this effect via a texture. - Two new envCube modes, and improvements to an undiscovered one. + "Blend" replaces the base texture by the envCube's. + "Multiply" multiplies them together (duh). + "DiffuseRadiance", which already existed in the shader, adds the envCube texture to the light received by the material rather than its already lit texture. All three of them support the envCube mask and the envCubeCoef parameter. The envCube modes are mutually exclusive, but all effects can otherwise be used with each other. The download itself contains the shader package, a pdf ReadMe listing features and material parameters, and examples showcased on my envCubeTesterObject (also included). The readme lists the specific shader files I've edited, in case anyone else made an incompatible mod. (I've not included the recolours from the first preview pic as they're kind of lame lol + I had to make a CEP extra for the robot.) I'm hyped to see what cool objects and recolours people will make with this! And I'm probably forgetting information.

Hello, 3t2 traits modders. It's time for my first traits mod, albeit a minor one, but it's fun nonetheless.

"Brag Anytime" 3t2 traits is a mod I made to give more logic to the "Brag" Interaction. There is a Google Docs pdf in the linked folder that explains the mod and also offers a mini tutorial on adding trait checks to guardian BHAVs for interactions. Here is the Google Docs version if the PDF causes issue.

With this mod, Sims with four selected traits can Brag at any time, regardless of relationship level. The vanilla code doesn't let any Sim brag if their relationship gets to a certain level. This mod causes the Sims with one or a combination of these traits to bypass the relationship checks: Snob, Diva, Mean-Spirited, and Evil.

Requirements: Nightlife or later. Can make one without Nightlife if requested.

Conflicts: Anything that modifies "Social - Talk - Brag - TEST" which has a Group number of 0x7F01EC29 and Instance number of 0x2125
