Catnap + Dogday x Reader ( Part 1 )
Part 2 >>>
Relationship : Fluff
Reader : Female, age 20.
Plot : You are one of the Playcare employees that looks after the Smiling Critters and makes sure all the mascots are in good shape.
Tumblr media
The very first day you were assigned to the Playcare, you didn't expect the mascot to be huge and very tall. Hell, even taller than Huggy Wuggy themselves!
You were nervous to be around these mascots but it was your job to keep them at a top notch.
Dogday, the leader of the smiling critters was the first to greet you. His personality is as bright as the sun necklace around his neck.
The others follow his lead and greet you with smiles on their faces, welcoming you to the daycare.
Well, except one.
Which was Catnap.
The purple cat mascot is high up on one of the buildings, watching everything from above and his eyes looking down at you, judging you from afar.
For the first week, you monitor the smiling critters and their behaviours. The others are fine interacting with the children, except for Catnap who prefers to be on his own.
You tried to get the cat to do his job but the mascot refused to listen to you. Which was frustrating.
You were amazed that the technology in place is far more advanced and the mascots in this Playtime Co. have their own personalities like a real person would which was..... intriguing and at the same time.... terrifying.
According to Dogday, Catnap used to be very friendly but he had been distancing himself from the group recently.
He never knows why.
The supervisor told you that Catnap was the most troublesome in the group and they said to keep an eye on the cat and make sure he does his work and doesn't get in any trouble.
It would take time for you to properly work with him. So, you respect the mascot's boundaries and try interacting with him slowly.
Day by day, you make sure to visit him first every time your shift starts. you greet Catnap with a 'Good morning' and 'How are you doing?'.
The cat only stares at you with a swishing tail, you set down a bag of croissants and look up at the mascot.
"Hey, Catnap! If you're hungry, you can have these croissants! Eat it while it's still fresh, okay bud. You can't work with an empty stomach!"
"......"
Again, he just stares at you.
You also learn that these mascots are able to consume organic matter which again shocks you, so you always sneak in some food from the cafe for all the smiling critters, in secret.
The smiling critters began to like you and saw you as their favourite out of all the employees.
Things go on normally in the daycare, the smiling critters keep themselves busy with the children ( that you weren't allow to interact with )
You spend your time in the office and look through the papers. When you were about to take a sip of the hot drink from your cup—
"Hiya, there! Mrs. (L/n)!"
"Oh, f—k!"
You jump out from your seat and some of the hot drink spilled onto your pants causing you to curse under your breath.
It was Dogday.
"I-I'm sorry! I didn't mean to scare you!"
The dog apologises for startling you and offers you a handkerchief that magically appears out of thin air.
You said you were alright. You turn to ask what makes Dogday come to your office.
The smiling critter just said he wants to see you, saying to you that you have been coup up in your office for hours now.
You were grateful that he was concerned about you but you told him that the papers kept you busy.
"Sorry, bud. I just have a lot of papers to look through. Ya know, I have to keep all of you in shape"
"I see. Thank you for caring and taking care of us angel........unlike the others—anyways!"
Dogday whispers the last part which cannot be heard clearly by you.
"Do you need help with anything? I'm free! I can help you with everything and as a leader of the Smiling Critters, it is also my job to help you too!"
Dogday offers a helping hand, his tail swishing as he awaits for your answers.
You told him you do need help sorting out the papers into the folders which the dog excitedly said yes.
He sits on the floor next to you, since how tall he is. You point out the paper that he needs to sort out in the correct order.
Dogday have trouble picking up the papers with his large hands. You couldn't help but stifle at the sight, yet he managed to find a way of picking up the paper without crumpling it.
After a few hours passed. The bell rings loudly, signalling it was recess time.
You stretch your limbs and stand up from your chair, you turn to Dogday who already finished sorting out all the papers.
"You did a great job there, Dogday. Thank you!"
"Hehe, no problem Mrs. (L/n)! Glad to help!"
"Just call me, (Y/n). Dogday. No need to be so formal and besides I'm not THAT old..."
"Alright, (Y/n)!"
You yawn escape your mouth as you rub your eye, a nice nap is the only thing that comes to your mind after a long hour of paperwork.
Dogday notices how tired you look.
"A good nap will make you feel energetic afterwards!"
"Yeah, it does. I'm going to the staffroom and sleep there. You can go back to the playcare, Dogday"
But the orange dog didn't leave and instead picks you up which surprises you.
Dogday held you close to his body and said.
"No need! You can sleep here with me!"
His arms wrap around your smaller body, your face buried into his chest and his fur smells like vanilla. Which was comforting....
Before you know it, you already drift off to sleep.
"Sleep well, angel...."
Next day.
Following the same routine, you visit Catnap again but the cat was nowhere in sight.
You call out for the feline and you hear a loud thud behind you. Hot breath tickles your back which causes you to quickly turn around to see the purple cat staring at you with beady white eyes.
You hold out an apple pie to him, which the cat takes and devours with a wide open mouth.
"I want....more"
"Huh?"
"More....sweets..."
It was the first time you heard Catnap speak, his voice was deep and distorted.
You now have learned that Catnap likes sweets. Which gives you quite an advantage over him.
"Yes, you can have more sweets.....If you do your job"
You told the cat which he grunts roughly in return.
"You can request any kind of sweets you want in return, I promise. Just as long you do your job as a play care attendant"
Catnap seemingly thinking about the deal that you had offered to him. The sweets seems to get to him since he never gets to eat such food....
It was tempting and he finally agrees with you.
"Okay..."
With that simple okay, Catnap begins to do his job in the play care to Dogday's delight.
After the shift is over, you give Catnap his sweet treats as you promised.
"Haha! See, it wasn't that hard, right! You did a great job there, Catnap! If you keep doing that, I might bake you a cake!"
You praised the feline mascot with a bright smile. Which causes the feline to look away slightly.
The feeling of praise makes his heart flutter with warmth.....
It was a very long day at work and you bid the smiling critters a good night before you leave the playcare.
Unknown to you, some of the higher ups have noticed how well you do with the Smiling Critters.
You are safe....
For now....
A/n : There will be more interaction with Catnap in the next chapter! I am aware that Catnap is Theo which is a child!
I am not sure who resides in Dogday and he might be one of the employees of the playcare since he knows so much.
Relationship between the three would be fluff. If romance, it could be focused on Dogday maybe...?
Well, it's up to you guys.

Character: Loki Laufeyson
Summary: a colleague returns from a recent vacation but is less than relaxed.
As usual, I would appreciate any and all feedback. I’m happy to once more go on this adventure with all of you! Thank you in advance for your comments and for reblogging ❤️
Tumblr media
You’ve honed the skill of indifference long ago. The voices that carry from down the hall meld together in a dull buzz as you push them to the back of your mind. You’re less concerned with the latest water cooler gossip as your deadline bears down on you.
You hate when a project comes down to the line. It couldn’t be helped. What should have been a two-person assignment was dropped solely in your lap. It isn’t the first time and won’t be the last. Your colleagues are less than reliable.
As their voices glaze over each other, you shrug of your resent. They all have their obligations; golf rounds or the windfall of courtside tickets. You’ve never been afforded the luxury of a half-day to go play. You are the dependable one; as far as your coworkers are concerned, you have nothing going on besides picking up their slack.
Work is work. You don’t linger on it; you just get it done. A peel of laughter jars you from your focus. You should close your door but that’s just an invitation. The last time, they simply moved in front of your door and spoke even louder. It’s like a game to them.
Caroline’s bubbly laughter trills down the hall. She’s joined the rabble. One of the young temps the men love to flirt with. ‘Oh it makes me feel young again.’ Ugh, you couldn’t imagine turning the clock back twenty years. You’re happy that era of your life is over.
You squint at the monitor and review your work. There’s a subtle tap on your doorframe. Your flicks up and back down. Loki.
“Yes, how can I help you?” You ask as your fingers flutter over the keyboard.
“Good afternoon to you too,” he drawls as he breaks the threshold.
“Afternoon,” you continue to type. You try not to think of how this was meant to be his project.
“I’m only doing my rounds. As you know, I was recently abroad and I brought back some sweets,” he crosses your office and sets a blurry object down in your peripheral.
“That’s generous, I don’t have much of a sweet tooth.” You say.
“You’re welcome,” he overrides your protest.
You sniff, “thanks.”
He’s quiet as he stands across from you. His gaze hangs over you like a dark cloud. You check the auto-save and retract your hands. You push your shoulders back and look at him.
“You were the only who didn’t come out to congratulate me,” he muses.
You sit straight. You are not unkind or inconsiderate. You just don’t come to work to socialize. You signed the card they sent with the flowers.
“Congratulations on your wedding. It seems it was a success,” you say.
He doesn’t react right away. He just stares at you. His green eyes are sharp and his lips a thin line. It isn’t the ego stroking he was looking for. You’re not quite sure what more to say. You’re not very familiar.
He scoffs, “I see.”
You blink, confused by the derision in his tone. You look at him past your monitor as he slowly pivots on his heel. It scuffs loudly and he marches to the door. He stops right before it then delicate grabs the handle and draws it shut.
You tilt your head curiously, “I’m just finishing up a project, so I don’t have very much time--”
“You’ve always been a dry old spinster, haven’t you?” He slithers as he faces you again.
“Pardon?” You’re genuinely stunned by his accusation. It’s not the first time you’ve met with that sort of spite. There is a contempt reserved only for older women.
“Yes, you strut around here as if you are a queen. Above us all, and I come to you with a token of good will, a souvenir from my honeymoon, and it only reminds you of how utterly pathetically alone you truly are,” he sneers. “So you offer me that trite look and your empty tiding.”
You scrunch your lips in surprise and cup your hand in confusion, “nothing of the like. I’m sorry, I am rather busy with my work--”
“Oh but this isn’t just today. It’s how it’s always been. You cannot be happy for anyone for your own misery,” he tuts.
“If that’s what you think,” you sit back calmly. “I think you should go.”
He lingers on the other side of your desk, “it’s because she’s young, I know it.”
“What?”
“My new wife. I see how it makes you bristle to know a man of your peerage couldn’t be bothered with you. You see, women age differently. They become bitter.” He snarls.
“I hardly see how this is appropriate. I am asking you to go--”
He sets his stance and lowers himself into the chair across from you. He smirks and pushes back his dark curls. Your spine locks up. That look in his eye, you’ve seen that in men before.
“I know what the matter is,” he pushes his feet wide and grips his thighs. He postures so his shoulders are wide and high. “How long has it been?”
You refuse to acknowledge his jeer. You shift to your monitor and go back to your editing. He clucks.
“Months, years?” He suggests.
“I’m busy,” you insist, keeping your eyes averted.
“What the wife doesn’t know...” he growls.
You flinch, appalled by his suggestion.
“Leave,” you say.
He snickers. “Are you so resigned to your feeble existence? Those lonely nights? In your condo, drinking your chardonnay, reclining on your chaise and reading the latest lascivious rag written for pruny old divorcees?”
You freeze then slowly look at him. It could be a cruel assumption, though it isn’t untrue. In fact, it is far too accurate to be a coincidence. Down to the chaise and the chardonnay.
“And that toy you keep in your jewelry box,” he curls a finger to mimic the curved shape. “Do you even feel it anymore?”
“Get out,” you hiss.
He smirks and arches a brow, “come.”
He beckons with two fingers. You clutch the armrests of your chair and your nose flairs. You glare back at him, horrified. A newly married man and he’s here propositioning you. What’s more, he’s been watching you.
“You’re disgusting--”
“Get up,” he rubs his thigh. “And come here.”
“HR--”
“Oh, I know Bradon well. I will be happy enough to explain how you’ve grown so jealous of my young wife. You’re overworked so of course you couldn’t control yourself--”
“He wouldn’t believe you--”
“Wouldn’t he? We play squash on Sundays. He knows my character well. An upstanding member of the country club--”
“Why are you doing this? What do you want me to say? Hm? Congratulations on your pretty young wife. Now, you should go home to her,” you snip.
“I don’t want you to say anything,” he taunts as his eyes narrow snakishly. “I want you to come sit in my lap so I can show you how useless that toy truly is.”
“You are--”
“I am your villain,” he undercuts you. “And you have two choices. You can finish that project and submit it and have it tossed out for your indiscretions or you can do what I tell you and still have a job to support you wined-up erotica sessions.”
You curl your lip, repulsed. There’s no point in asking why. Men do not operate on logic.
“What’s it going to be?”
You grit your teeth and take a deep breath. You push yourself to your feet and steady yourself. You move stiffly around the desk, eyes on the wall as you near him. As you get close, he grabs your hip and turn you. He forces you down so roughly that your ankles bend.
You catch yourself on him, grabbing his hands as he grips you tight, and you writhe against his obvious arousal. A man like him can only get off on his own ego. You shudder and grasp his wrists.
He pulls you back against his and rests his chin on your shoulder. You squirm as he untangles his arm from your hold. He hooks his arm around your stomach as his other tugs at your skirt. You huff and claw at his sleeves.
“Alright, that’s enough, you’ve made your point--”
He shoves his hand against your panties, pushing the satin between your folds. You gasp and twitch. You push your thighs together and crush his fingers. It only adds pressure.
“You remember the day I started,” he turns to nuzzle your neck as he speaks, “and you had to make it known that you weren’t an assistant advisor, you were a senior.” He moves his fingers between the clutch of your tensed thighs. “That you were above me?”
“No, I--” you gulp slap at his wrist.
“Oh, and look at you now. Still above me, eh? Right there... on top of me,” he buries his hand against you and nips at your neck meanly. “You will be on your knees soon enough,” he flicks his fingers harshly and you spasm. “Right where you belong.”

"Outstanding, naturally," you said, your voice laced with confidence and your grin so wide it seemed to stretch beyond the boundaries of your face. "Must you even ask?"
The morning sunlight filtered through the enchanted ceiling of the Great Hall, casting a warm glow over the room as you and your friends gathered for breakfast. Emily, your blonde-haired friend that you've known since your very first day here, couldn't help but to snicker at your bluntness, her eyes twinkling with amusement as she shoved a forkful of eggs into her mouth.
It’d been almost two weeks since you’d last met with Mattheo, since there was no tutor session last week due to your exam in Advanced Magical Studies. Admittedly, you were thankful for the break.
"Is there any subject where you don't get perfect  grades?" Your other friend Michael said, widened eyes glancing at your marked exam in your hands. "You're a natural born Ravenclaw prodigy...I don't know how you do it, I simply can't wrap my head around it."
Emily, in between bites, nodded vigorously, her admiration evident. "It's true, you seem to effortlessly ace every bloody class. Meanwhile, I'm literally up to my neck in notes, struggling away in hopes of achieving a Meets Expectations."
"Come on, Emily," you said, sitting up a bit taller in your seat. "You earned an Outstanding on the exam too. Your intelligence and dedication are remarkable. You give yourself far too little credit."
She shrugged, taking a moment to chew her food thoughtfully. "Maybe," she conceded, her eyes briefly meeting yours. "But your brilliance seems innate, effortless. It's both inspiring and, I must admit, a tad infuriating."
The corners of her lips twitched into a half-smile, acknowledging the mix of admiration and friendly jealousy in her words. You couldn't help but to blush at her compliments, feeling proud of just how much your intense studies over the years have paid off. Your friends know just how much of your life you've dedicated to your education, and that by this point--after grinding away for years and years, the knowledge was just seamless to you. It just came naturally.
"Good morning, my dear students," came a gentle yet resonant voice from directly behind you, shattering the comfortable silence. "And how might you find yourselves on this delightful, sun-filled morning?"
As you turned, you were met with the twinkling eyes of Professor Dumbledore, his warm presence enveloping the room with ease.
You rose from your seat, your hands clasped together in front of you. "Good morning, Professor; it's always a pleasure to see you. I'm wonderful, how about yourself?"
Your friends gave similar responses, each earning an attentive nod.
"Very good, very good," Dumbledore's voice resonated warmly, his eyes crinkling with a kind smile. "Thank you all."
His gaze shifted to you, a mix of gentleness and concern in his eyes. "I would be grateful for a moment of your time in my office, if you could spare it. It concerns your peer tutoring sessions. Would you be able to join me before the day's lessons commence?”
A sickening twist gripped your stomach, causing your once radiant smile to shatter into fragments. You battled to shield your fear, but it threatened to consume you--every horrifying possibility flooding your mind in a torrent.
Your eyes were drawn involuntarily across the room, zeroing in on the Slytherin table, only to find the devil himself, Mattheo Riddle, the harbinger of your academic ruin--was already fucking staring, smug arrogance practically radiating off of him as he relished your clear discomfort. His calculating gaze felt like a vulture circling its prey, keenly observing every nuance of your nervous demeanour--and you were certain you were about to collapse to the floor.
Snapping yourself from your trance, you returned your eyes to your Professor, mustering up the best fake smile you possibly could. "Absolutely, Professor--it's no trouble at all."
"Wonderful," he smiled, nodding. "Shall we?"
With a subtle nod, he gracefully guided you out of the Great Hall, your fingers tightly clutching the strap of your bag after bidding your friends goodbye. Your heart raced in your chest, the anticipation of the impending conversation tightening its grip on your every nerve. You trailed closely behind Dumbledore, the echo of your footsteps blending with the murmur of distant conversations.
As you approached the Hall's exit, Dumbledore's movements came to an abrupt halt. He spun around with a swift grace, his piercing eyes sweeping across the tables like a lighthouse beam cutting through the fog, searching for someone specific amidst the bustling sea of students.
And when his searching gaze finally landed on the person he sought, he outstretched his arm, a subtle wave beckoning them to follow. Your eyes widened in complete horror as Riddle stood up, tossing his bag over his shoulder with an air of arrogant nonchalance. Slowly, he began making his way toward you, his every step seemingly echoing off the walls of your mind.
The lot of you moved briskly, following Dumbledore to his office, Mattheo not deigning to acknowledge your existence except for the few brief, unsettling glances he kept throwing your way, a knowing smirk plastered across his face, practically casting a shadow of impending doom over your academic future.
As you entered Dumbledore's office, your heart continued to race with fear, the heavy weight of impending disaster hanging over you like a storm cloud. Dumbledore gestured for you and Riddle to sit down, the creaking of the chairs adding to the palpable tension in the room. You could hardly bear to look at Riddle, certain that his presence here meant he had failed the exam. Your post-graduate career seemed destined to crumble before it even began.
Your mind spun with catastrophic thoughts, the urge to throw up from nerves clawing at your throat. Just as you prepared yourself for the devastating news, Dumbledore's voice cut through the suffocating silence like a lifeline.
"Well, I must be frank, and I hope you won't take offense, Mister Riddle," his tone was incisive, his words carrying a weight of honesty. "I didn't harbor high hopes for substantial improvement in your academic pursuits when you commenced this new tutoring arrangement. Considering your history and the difficulty you faced in finding a suitable mentor, my expectations were rather restrained."
Your breath caught in your throat, your head spinning, nerves screaming in fear as Dumbledore spoke. His gaze was penetrating, his words hanging heavily in the air. He straightened in his chair, clasping his hands together in front of him.
"However, it is entirely safe to say that I was beyond pleased when I found out that you had achieved an 'Exceeds Expectations,' on your recent exam--which, if I may point out, is your highest grade thus far."
Your mind reeled, struggling to grasp the reality of the situation. Dumbledore's words echoed in your ears, and your jaw dropped in utter shock.
"Exceeds expectations," you repeated, your eyes wider than the sun and just as blaring. "Exceeds expectations! Mattheo, that's amazing!"
When you glanced at Mattheo, his eyes practically glimmered with a peculiar mix of pride and smug arrogance. His confident smirk persisted, etched on his features as he reclined casually in the chair beside you, choosing to remain silent; but you both knew exactly what the other was thinking.
Dumbledore's eyes twinkled with approval as he continued. "Your efforts in guiding Mister Riddle have not only benefited him but also showcased your exceptional skills as a tutor. It's a rare talent to break through someone's barriers, especially someone as formidable as he...I encourage both of you to continue this fruitful collaboration, nurturing each other's potential to the fullest."
You were gleaming. Screaming. On the verge of tears. This felt like a miracle, like music to your ears. The surge of emotions threatened to overwhelm you; you wanted to run until your legs gave out, to kiss Mattheo's stupidly infuriating face until it was raw. This was all you had ever wanted, more than anything else in the world.
"Thank you so much Professor," you beamed, your voice filled with excitement. "Your encouragement means more to me than you could ever begin to imagine."
"No, thank you, dear," Dumbledore said, a benevolent smile gracing his features. "Oh, and since I have you here, I was actually wondering if you'd be interested in joining the Hogwarts Mentorship Guild. Currently, it's coincidentally being overseen by Mister Riddle's brother, Tom...I do believe it would be an immensely beneficial experience for you. It's quite selective, but with my personal recommendation, your entry would be assured. You'd have weekly meetings with Tom and the other members-"
Every word that fell from Dumbledore's lips ignited an exhilarating flutter in your chest, a surge of excitement threatening to crack your ribcage open and pierce through your heart. The prospect of joining the prestigious club had been a cherished dream for years, and now, the reality of it was overwhelming. You basked in the euphoria, savoring the moment, until Mattheo's voice abruptly shattered the joy that had filled your soul.
"Professor, if I may," Mattheo spoke up, his tone surprisingly earnest as he straightened in his chair; his jaw tensed and his eyes dark. "I was actually wondering if she could tutor me in Potions as well...I could definitely use the help...it's been rough, to say the least."
His request hung in the air, creating a pause charged with unexpected tension. The elation that had filled you moments ago now mingled with apprehension as Dumbledores gaze darted between the two of you, his demeanour shifting as he leaned back in his chair.
"That would be up to her, Mister Riddle...I would imagine you'd struggle with doing all three, my dear witch...how about you think on it, and get back to me in a weeks time with what you'd prefer to do, yes?"
With anger simmering beneath your skin, you nodded and mustered a fake smile as you stood up. You extended your hand, shaking Dumbledore's firmly, concealing the turmoil within you. After exchanging polite goodbyes, assuring him of your prompt response, you spun on your heels with a sense of urgency that left Mattheo in your dust. Ignoring his calls that faded into the distance, you marched toward your dorm room, determined to shut out the world and the infuriating presence of Mattheo Riddle.
Right now, you wanted absolutely nothing to do with him--nothing at all. But of course, he wasn't having that.
The heavy, urgent pounding on your door reverberated through the room, rattling your bones and intensifying your annoyance. Mattheo's relentless assault on the door seemed never-ending, refusing to halt for even a moment. Fearing the spectacle he might create in the hallway and the questions it would spark among your peers, you reluctantly decided to put an end to the commotion.
With a surge of anger-fueled determination, you swung the door open, gripping a fistful of his tie between your infuriated fingers as you pulled him inside. The door slammed shut behind him, the noise echoing your frustration, and you kept your grasp on his tie, shoving his back up against the wood of your door.
"Potions?" you hissed, your voice laced with seething anger as you pressed against him. "In the name of the four fucking founders, Riddle, potions?"
He blinked, clearly startled by the intensity of your rage. "What-"
"You're about to shatter one of my lifelong dreams just because you can't handle a cauldron and some bloody ingredients?" you spat through gritted teeth, eyes burning with fury. "Are you genuinely that hopelessly inept?"
Your response was met with a suffocating silence, his lips parting as if searching for words that never materialized. His jaw clenched, his eyes darting away briefly, a clear sign of his inner turmoil. The weight of his silence only fueled the blaze of your anger.
"Haven't you taken enough from me?" you hissed, the emotion in your tone nearly tangible. "Haven't you wreaked sufficient havoc on my life?"
Mattheo's eyes darkened, his irises smoldering with unspoken fury as he silently wrestled with his words. His fists clenched at his sides, the intensity of his emotions evident, yet the silence persisted. You could practically feel the weight of his suppressed anger hanging heavily in the air.
"You really have nothing to fucking say, do you?" you spat, your voice sharp with disappointment. "The arrogant Slytherin prince, always ready with a cutting remark, suddenly struck dumb when he's called out...how utterly predictable."
You scoffed, your frustration mounting as his inability to respond only fueled the fire of your own indignation.
"You're unbelievable." You said, finally releasing his tie and spinning away from him, moving across the room with deliberate pace before you spun back around, meeting his dark eyes from against the opposite wall. "I'm happy that your grades are improving under my guidance but I think you'll have to find someone else to tutor you in potions...I'm sorry, Mattheo."
Riddle blinked, stepping forward. "I don't need help in potions."
You paused. You weren't sure if you'd even heard him correctly. "What?"
"I don't need help in potions." He repeated, taking another step.
"You don't-" your brows pinched, your words falling short as Mattheo veered closer. "But you-"
"My grades are bad, yeah," he said, voice low and hoarse. "But I'm not failing. And I certainly don't need a tutor."
Your chest constricted. You weren't following him. "Then why? Why'd you say that to Dumbledore?"
He inhaled sharply through his nose, his jaw locking with tension. Swallowing hard, his throat worked as he landed himself roughly an arms length away from you, his eyes darker than the midnight sky and twice as intense.
"Because," he said, taking a singular step closer. "I don't want you anywhere near him."
His words slammed your chest so hard you almost fell over. "Excuse me?"
"My brother," he said, his tone flat and unwavering. "I don't want you anywhere fucking near my brother."
Your jaw dropped, the air catching in your lungs. A whirlwind of conflicting emotions engulfed you, each one sparking a fire in your core that you desperately wished to ignore. Your head spun, torn between the lingering anger and the new surge of shock and disbelief at his words.
"You're not serious..." you spat, peering up at him as he loomed over you, hastily taking a step back to create some distance between you. "Riddle, please tell me you're fucking joking."
"Do I look like I'm joking?" he replied, his expression carved from stone, taking another step closer and erasing the space you had just tried to create. "Huh, Raven? Do I?"
Anger swelled inside you, clouding your vision. "You've lost your fucking mind," you said, your voice dropping so low you weren't even sure if he'd heard you. "You're being controlling, Mattheo. That's...you can't just..."
Mattheo tilted his head, backing you up against the wall, a predatory glint in his eyes that made your stomach flip. "I can't, what?"
Your throat went dry, his hands pressing against the wood on either side of your head. "You can't just-"
Your words were cut short as Mattheo leaned in, his lips brushing against yours. "Can't what, Raven?" he murmured, his voice a dangerous whisper. "Go on, spit it out."
Gods, curse him. Curse him to bloody hell.
"You can't just control my life like you own it, Mattheo," you whispered against his lips, ignoring the fiery desire that flared within you, something you fought fiercely to suppress. "Outside of that classroom, you don't hold any power over me."
Mattheo's lips curled into a sly, taunting smile, his eyes glinting with challenge. "Oh, Raven," he murmured, his voice a dangerous whisper, "you have no idea how wrong you are...inside that classroom or out, you're mine to control...I believe I've proven that today--you'd have never gotten the offer to join that fucking club if it wasn't for my improved grades."
You scowled, your back pressing firmly against the wall as his lips trailed down to your jawline. Frustration mingled with desire, a dangerous combination that sent your senses reeling.
You cursed yourself inwardly, loathing the way your resolve seemed to crumble under his touch. Why did a boy this bad have to look so fucking sweet? Why did a boy this bad for you have to taste so fucking good?
"No...you're wrong, Mattheo..." you whispered, your voice trembling, trying to inject conviction into your words despite the turmoil inside you. "You're so fucking wrong."
"Am I, Raven?" He teased, his voice smug, one hand shifting to cup the side of your face, thumb brushing over your cheek. "So you're saying, that if I told you to get on your knees for me, right now in the middle of your dorm room like my good little whore, you wouldn't do it?" His lips grazed your ear, your lids fluttering involuntarily. "Or...if I told you to take off your shirt so I could cum all over those beautiful fucking tits of yours, you'd say no...hm?"
Your breath caught in your throat, his touch and words igniting a fierce battle within you. As much as you knew the next words form your lips were an entire fucking lie, you simply couldn't help yourself. Merlin knows your body and mind were betraying you, all you had left was your mouth--which was never known to go down without a fight.
"That's right, Riddle..." you whispered, your voice barely audible, betraying the tremor in your resolve. "I'd say no...one million times over I'd say no..."
Mattheo groaned, the noise reverberating down your spine as he breathed it directly into your eardrum. Your thighs screamed in need at the sound--your stomach flipping as his hand slid into your hair, cradling the back of your neck.
"And if I asked you to kiss me?" He murmured, his intense gaze locking onto yours. "Would you still say no then?"
Your heart was beating so hard you were certain he could hear it. "I...I would..."
"Yeah?" He said, his voice a sultry whisper, wetting his lips as he glimpsed yours. "You sure about that, Raven?"
Your lungs sputtered, trying your best to keep your composure as you nodded, glimpsing his lips now. "I'm sure, Mattheo..."
His nails dug into your neck, every inch of your body ablaze as your gaze darted between his dark, intoxicated eyes and his plush, inviting lips. You cursed yourself, the internal struggle fierce and unrelenting. You cursed yourself so intensely, you could almost taste the bitterness of your own self-reproach.
"Mm." He hummed, grazing his lips over yours with feather like precision, before he pulled back. "And what would I have to do to change your mind, huh? Do you want me to fucking beg, princess?"
A low, desperate sound escaped your lips, a primal mewl reverberating in your chest. "That might help..." you breathed. "Maybe if you got on your knees while you did, it'd be far more effective..."
"Fuck...I've created a monster, haven't I..." he huffed, smirk teasing his perfect fucking lips, both hands falling to your hips as he slowly dropped to his knees in front of you. "A beautiful, slutty little monster..."
You were speechless, body blazed with desire, torn between the intense pull in his eyes and the irresistible temptation of his lips. Holy fucking hell you wanted to kiss him so unbelievably bad, you weren't sure how much longer you could continue playing this little game; the desire only strengthening as he ran his hands along your curves, rough palms smoothing down your thighs as he peered up at you--chocolate curls sitting messy over his forehead, his dark eyes burning wounds into your flesh.
"Kiss me, Raven..." he whispered, holding your sight, voice strained weigh desire so intense it was palpable. "Please, fucking kiss me."
That did it. That absolutely did it.
Without a second thought, you bent at the waist, seizing his tie and directing his mouth to yours, your lips crashing onto his in a feverish, desperate kiss. At the passionate connection, a low moan slid past your teeth, your fingers entwining in his hair, deepening the kiss. His tongue sought entrance, and you willingly granted it, eliciting a low, primal growl from him. His hands tightened around the backs of your thighs, anchoring you in place, not daring to move an inch higher.
Mattheo nipped your bottom lip, smirking as he tugged on it gently before releasing it, blinking as he met your eyes. "I love the way you moan for me, Raven..." he purred, hands slowly moving up, slipping under your skirt. "You have no idea what I could fucking do to you."
You whimpered as his hands slid higher, gripping your ass under your skirt, his face dangerously close to your sex. Your fingers curled tightly into his hair, gripping the strands within your palms as your entire body quivered. His lips left a trail of hot, fervent kisses along your outer thigh, igniting a path of tingling sensations in their wake.
"Gods..." you moaned, unable to form any other coherent word as his hands explored and caressed places on your body that no one else had ever touched before. "Mattheo..."
"Fucking hell..." he groaned, his grip tightening. "If you do that again I might not be able to stop myself Raven...I might have to rip this fucking skirt off and make you moan my name over and over until it's the only word you remember..."
Your breath caught in your throat, your head spinning in a whirlpool of desire at his words. Every fiber of your being trembled, quivering under his touch. Mattheo pulled himself up to his feet, his hands still firmly gripping your ass as he pressed himself against you, the strength of his grip pulling your crotch against his. Even through the fabric of his trousers, you could feel his aggressive erection pressing against you.
Involuntarily, you moaned again.
"Mhm, that’s right...” Mattheo hummed, wet lips grazing your ear. "…and you say I don't have control over you..." he purred, licking a slow line up the side of your throat. "You're fucking melting for me and I've barely touched you, Raven..."
His mention of control snapped you back to your senses, not wanting your earlier anger to be neutered so easily, despite the lake pooling between your thighs for this cunning enigma of a man.
"I'm still mad at you, Mattheo..." you managed to croak out, head falling back as he pressed his lips to your neck. "You can't keep doing this...you can't keep sweet-talking me out of my anger for you.”
"Is that what you think I'm doing here?" He huffed, one hand leaving your ass and gripping your hip with enough force to shatter your bones. "Maybe I just can't keep my fucking hands off of you...maybe I like knowing I'm the only one who's ever touched you like this, the only one who's ever fucked your throat and seen those perfect tits of yours...maybe I don't like sharing...maybe I don't like the thought of my brother getting you alone and trying to take what's mine..."
You whimpered, chest constricting. "And you told me not to get attached?" You said, ignoring the burning, screaming flames that ignited at his admission. "You're utterly delusional...I'm not your fucking toy-"
“Yes you are.” He huffed, a deviant grin crawling over his lips. "And believe me, I'm not attached, princess..." he said. "I'm possessive, and there's a fucking difference. I know my brother...I know exactly how he operates."
"If it's anything like how you do, then I can understand your concern." You scoffed, not even attempting to hide your smirk. "But I'm not a child, I don't need protection. And believe me when I tell you, one irritating Riddle man in my life is more than enough."
His jaw tensed at your words, and he loosened his grip, almost fully releasing you, but not quite. "You can do all three."
You paused, lips parting, but he cut you off, sensing your incoming confusion. "Tutoring me in advanced magical studies and potions…plus the stupid club. You can do all three."
"What?" You were dumbfounded, nearly speechless. "I-I can't, Riddle...Dumbledore said-"
"He's only saying that because he thinks you'd actually have to tutor me in potions...we can just make him think you are...imagine how impressed he'll be when you tell him-"
"Oh, Mattheo! That's brilliant!" You beamed, excitement filling your eyes, all of your earlier anger and concern and disappointment seemingly flowing from your flesh, dissipating into the charged air. You gripped his face, giving him a kiss on the cheek, smirking as you pulled back. "You really changed your mind rather quickly."
"I see how much it upset you." He shrugged, stepping back and shoving his hands into his pockets. "I don't want to interfere with your goals, Raven. I just want you to know that even though he's my brother, I won't refrain from kicking his fucking ass if he tries anything."
Your jaw fell open like you wanted to reply, but words would fail you, and he smirked. “Tell Dumbledore you’ll do it. And I’ll see you tomorrow night.”
Without giving you the chance to respond, he spun around, briskly making his way out of your dorm without another bloody word--leaving you entirely at a loss, unable to comprehend what the hell just happened.

Chapter five.
After that incident, i ignored them like a plague. Even though it's hard living in the same house with them. But sometimes I'm glad they are not home all the time. I can still feel their touch, tongue and the way Jimin was whispering in my ear. Taehyung's dark eyes, Jungkook's tattooed hand.
I shrunk thinking about it again.
Icried a lot, so much until my eyes puffed and swelled. Until i couldn't cry anymore.
Today i skipped college, I don't want to face them. Even in the collage. I stayed away from jungwoo as well, i didn't  open his messages or anything.
For his sake.
Those cruel monsters won't think twice before doing anything to him.
They made it clear.
I sighed softly, grabbing my phone and I dialed my halmeoni number. It's been a while, so much was happening my mind was a mess and i almost forgot her.
After three rings she picked up.
I could hear her cough little, I frowned softly "halmeoni? Are you okay?" I spoke softly and sat up.
She hummed softly yet weakly.
"I'm okay, just a little cough that's all." Her voice was a horse, i blinked softly. I heard her voice after so long. Tears gathered in my eyes but i didn't cry.
"Are you taking care of yourself? Did you take meds? What was the cause of your cough? Did you eat something sour again?" I bombarded all questions, she's slowly turning aged. She's been sick lately.
I couldn't help but worry.
She's my only family.
She chuckles softly "I'm okay, cy. I'm taking meds on time and i sleep regularly as well. Don't worry hm? Your grandma is strong." I could sense her soft smile while talking on the phone.
I sigh in relief.
"Should i come to Damyang? I miss you and miss being in your arms." I spoke softly, but came out with a mere whisper.
"I'm okay, cy. Focus on yourself and studies okay? I want you to settle down in seoul. There's nothing here anymore. You know that right? When I'll die—"
I cut her off firmly "halmeoni."
She laughed.
I don't get her jokes about this.
"Sorry, sorry my daughter. You tell me, are you eating well?" She asked softly.
I hummed "i am, people are really n-nice here. Aunt and min-ah." My voice cracked.
There was silence.
"Is my brave daughter okay?" She whispered.
A knot form on my throat, i gulped down the tearful sob that wanted to spill out so bad. I nodded even though she couldn't see me.
"I'm okay." I spoke keeping my voice steady. "Just assignments and classes. Everything is exhausting."
She hummed.
"Oh, that must be exhausting. It's okay, i know you're intelligent and you'll overcome every situation hm? Grandma is proud."
I smiled softly at her words.
"I love you." I whispered.
"I love you, too." She coughs little, i sighed softly "it's late now, sleep well hm? Take care of yourself."
She coughs a Little more.
"You too, cy. Good night." She said softly and hung up.
I placed my mobile phone on the side table. Feeling lighter after talking with her. Hearing her comforting words.
Sinking on my comforter, i slowly closed my eyes. Slowly my eyes drool and sleep consumes me.
I was inside my room, it was almost 8:30 and i could hear something going on inside. I could hear a lot of people talking and laughing and a little soft music.
Is it a party going on downstairs?
I wanted to go and check but i know taehyung, Jimin and Jungkook will be downstairs as well. They must have arranged the party or hook-ups. Like the persons they are actually.
I nibble on my lower lips softly.
Closing my books, i grabbed a soft red sweater and wore it and a pair of jeans. I tied my hair in a soft loose bun, a little bit of a lip balm. And wore my shoes.
I got out of my room and saw many people in the hallway.
I held on my sleeves, holding them tightly.
So the party is going on.
My social anxiety kicks in, even though they weren't paying attention to me but still being introverted means pooping in front of the crowd.
It's embarrassing.
I got down the stairs, clearly ignoring the fact someone is literally making out in the hallway.
I reached the living room and saw many people. All of em looking elite and models type figures.
In the middle.
Jungkook was sitting with a woman on his thighs on left right behind taehyung was leaning on the headrest of the couch with his both hands on the rest. And Jimin was making drinks in the mini bar.
Does aunty know about this?
Even if she knows, she won't do anything.
Jungkook raised his eyes and locked with mine.
His lips lifted up with an amused smirk, he winked.
Disgust lunged inside me, I looked away from him. Taehyung and Jimin's eyes also met mine. But i didn't let them show they affected me.
They do.
But I can't show it.
I walked towards the garden area.
The night shrouded the garden in an ethereal glow, the soft light from the lanterns casting a warm, inviting ambiance. The beauty of the garden was even more enchanting under the moonlit sky, with the delicate petals of the flowers seeming to dance in the gentle breeze.
The scent of jasmine and roses filled the air, mingling with the sweet aroma of freshly cut grass. Groups of people strolled through the garden, their laughter and chatter echoing softly in the stillness of the night.
They all were holding lanterns.
I always loved lanterns. It was my dream to at least lit one lantern like i watched in tangled.
Childish but who cares.
As they lit each lantern, the garden transformed into a mesmerizing scene, with the flickering flames adding to the magic of the moment. The flickering lanterns illuminated the faces of the people, their smiles reflecting the joy and contentment they found in this serene oasis.
I wanted to light the lantern up one as well, until i felt a small poke on my shoulder. I turned around and looked at the guy — he was in a casual hoodie and a pair of jeans holding two lanterns.
He was good looking, no doubt.
"Min-Hyuk" he introduced himself, smiling down at me. I felt my cheeks slowly flame under his soft gaze.
"Cyra." I introduced myself as well, he nodded and gestured the lantern with his chin "do you want to air this up?" He asked gently.
"I would love to, i always wanted to do this." I gently took the lantern. And slowly released in the sky and so did he.
It was beautiful.
The sky was looking so pretty.
My eyes didn't leave the sky for a second, and i could feel Min-Hyuk eyes on me as well. But I didn't look at him.
And felt a strong gaze from them as well.
"Look one is coming down." I pointed at the sky, one lantern was coming down to the ground before it touched i quickly held it gently from the edge sending it back to the sky.
I smiled softly.
"You're beautiful." Min-Hyuk said out loud, i turned to him. My cheeks turned flimsy shade of red.
"Well thank you." I smiled softly at him.
He looks away, his cheeks turned Little bit of a pink.
Is he blushing?
Cute.
I smiled again and look away. But it soon fade away when i made eye contact with them.
Jungkook, Jimin and taehyung were leaming on the glass window of the garden. Their eyes were fixed on me.
They were angry.
No.
Worse.
They were furious.
And i knew, it isn't going to end well.
Maybe i was dreaming but i felt taehyung lips moved — almost like mouthing me. "Go upstairs."
And somehow. I did, cause i knew. This isn't going to end well if i don't listen to them.
I watched their eyes fixed on me, and they were looking at me with so much fiery. They were fuming.
It was sickening.
Terrifying.
Inscrutable.
I gulped softly, as my eyes met Jimin's dark siren one's. His eyes went to me then Min-Hyuk felt like he wanted to kill him. And Jimin wasn't the only one who was looking at him like that.
Taehyung's gaze was maddening.
I looked away, i just did. I'm too cowardly to face and meet their eyes anymore. I jumped softly when Min-Hyuk tugged my hair behind my ear.
This guy will die for sure.
"You okay? You look tense, you were just so happy minutes ago." He spoke gently looking at my eyes. I like men when they talk gently.
And Min-Hyuk was one of them.
I nodded. "I'm okay." I spoke softly, i smiled gently. But that didn't reach my eyes. I moved a bit away, maintaining my distance.
I don't want any unnecessary attention anymore. They are already so pissed, i can't do anything else that pisses them off more than they are already.
"Do you want something to drink or anything else? Cause I'm grabbing something to drink." He asked looking at me. I refused politely. He nodded and went inside.
I sighed softly and looked at the sky again.
The lanterns in the sky got blur and blur. I made a wish about my grandma - about her well being.
"Do you want punishment that bad, angel eyes? That night wasn't enough?" Jimin whispered in my ear, it was more like a harsh whisper. His body pressed behind my back, his hand sneaked on my waist pulling me closer to his chest.
"Don't you guys have to do anything except punish me? And let me go!" I wiggled and pushed him away.
That's bold.
I never did this.
His eyebrows raised, like he wasn't expecting me to push him either. "I think i need to remind you of this 'letting you go' bullshit again. I'm never letting you go, cyra. Not me and not them. Keep that in your skull. Or i have my ways."
I kept quiet.
Jimin pressed a kiss on my temple and whispered. "Go back to your room." He ordered.
"Don't tell me what to do." I snapped back.
Jimin sighs softly, his jaw clenched. "Go back to your room, Cyra. You don't want to see taehyung fucking you in front of everyone right?"
Oh God.
This is sick.
I can't, i just can't. I know taehyung wouldn't think twice before doing something like this to me.
My eyes fell on Jungkook, he was talking with Min-Hyuk in a hushed manner. Jungkook's face was cold, not even a bit of emotion. Like he's dead. Emotionless.
Not even a hint of emotion or amusement he shows to me.
But that wasn't important.
He was talking with Min-Hyuk.
What if-
Jimin pecked my temple again, i looked at him. "Go." He whispered in my ear.
I walked past him and went to my room.
Tumblr media
I watched her go upstairs towards her room.
I was pissed.
So fucking pissed.
Not me so were they.
I missed her so fucking much these days, she didn't came out from her room nor showed up in university.
She was looking etheral while looking at those goddamn lanterns. Her big hazel brown eyes are consuming and locking the beautiful sight of lanterns.
The way she smiled, the way her cheeks puffed up softly. Tilting her head and admiring the view.
She was the sight to watch.
A beautiful one.
I couldn't tear his eyes away from the scene before me The way her gaze fixed on the sky filled lanterns, her face picture of serene beauty She wore a smile so radiant like a shining star, seemingly oblivious to anything else around her.
My fucking heart aching with an overwhelming. Desire to caress her, to brush a stray hair from a perfect face, to breathe in.
The scent of blooming flowers, to fuck her sweet, hot pussy Until the world disappeared.
Around them and nothing remained but breathless passion, a mind blowing release, her soft, velvety flesh around my hard cock, and the taste of her sweet nectar on my lips.
My pants tightened.
Fuck.
She makes me lose my cool.
But it all ended when we saw Min-Hyuk, Jungkook's friend. Staring at her with so much admiration and endearingly.
It pisses us off.
Only we can do that.
"If i see you touching her again, I'll kill you. With my bare fucking hands. Did you hear me?" Jungkook snarled at Min-Hyuk. He was pissed.
We all were.
Taehyung looks like he's going to pounce on Min-Hyuk any minute.
Min-Hyuk raised hand in surrender, and went away.
"Bastard." Jungkook breathes, his jaw clenched. He made a drink for himself and chugged in one go.
"Can't we just kill him?" Jungkook groaned looking at me and taehyung.
"Calm down, maknae. Don't act like a jealous bastard." Taehyung spoke calmly, like he isn't fuming as well.
Jungkook scoffed. "Calm down? Like a vein isn't popping out of your brain, sure hyung." He sarcastically said.
"What are you thinking? You're hard." Taehyung pointed out my not so hidden bulge. I shrugged "her." I said calmly, lit up the cigarette for myself.
They both chuckled.
"She had us wrapped around her little fucking fingers." Jungkook eyes glint with mischief and desire - fondness.
Which is rare.
We are emotionless bastards, we have never been an ethical person. We always had twisted ways to handle situations, we weren't just mere bachelors.
We were more than that.
More than a mafia.
"I'm going to her room." I announced, they looked at me. "Make sure she understands what the meaning of belongs to us is." Taehyung said calmly taking my cigarette in his mouth.
I hummed and went to her room.
They handled the party downstairs, so I went upstairs. I barged into her room, and saw her laying down on the bed. Her back was facing me.
She was in soft shorts and camisole, I took a sharp inhale and walked towards her bed. The boots clicked on the wooden floor.
Thump.
Thump.
Thump.
I ran my hand on her smooth leg, snuggling in her neck from behind. Taking a deep inhale of her soft baby lotion or whatever the fuck it is.
It's intoxicating.
Make my head spin badly.
I put my hand under her head and one on her waist pulling her closer to my chest. Her warm body fit in my arms like a missing puzzle.
She stirred up slowly.
Her hips brushed against my groin, i bite back the groan. She looked at me over her shoulder was about to move away instantly but i pulled her more closer putting my hand over her shoulder. That was under her head.
"How did you get in? I locked the door?" She breaths softly, her heart dropping right on my palm.
I smiled against her nape, kissing it gently. "Such a naive little thing, angel eyes. My house and you think I don't have keys?"
She stayed silent.
"You think I'll let you go after the stunt you pulled?" I whispered in her ear kissing the earlobe.
She shivered, reacting to my touch.
She always does, even her mind doesn't. But her body does.
With full passion.
My hand went inside her shorts, touching her folds. I smirked against her neck. She was wet. "Wet already? I barely touched you."
She takes a sharp inhale.
"Women release themselves when they are upset or- or ovulating." She whispered.
I chuckled once again.
"Ovulation hm?" I rubbed her clit with firm circles, putting a perfect pressure on her body. "You should be glad, it's me. Not Jungkook or worse - taehyung."
She softly gripes the sheets.
I turned her around and hovered over her, removing the sheets.
"They are so fucking pissed, angel eyes. What you were doing with Min-Hyuk or whoever the fuck he is." I growled near her lips.
She whimpers softly when i pinched her pussy lips.
"I-i was just talking." She whispered barely audible, I slid two fingers in stretching her open.
I grunted.
She's so goddamn tight.
Her pussy clenched around my fingers like a grip.
"Talking? But the way he was looking at you was something else, angel eyes." I kissed her flaming cheeks. "Only we can look at you, admire you, fuck you. Until you can't walk anymore and only remember our name."
I moved my fingers faster.
Her pants grow, her breath turned ragged. She twitched, her hips buckle.
I crashed my lips.
I absolutely love kissing her.
I adore her.
She's the precious thing in this whole fucking world.
Putting my tongue inside her mouth, i sucked every ounce of her warm mouth. Sucking on her tongue, nibbling on her pretty pink lips.
"Come for me, angel eyes." I whispered against her swollen lips. And she came around my fingers. I sucked my fingers looking at her eyes.
I teared down her panties.
She gasped.
"N-no more." She whispered, i pulled her down. "We're not done yet, baby." I put her legs over my shoulder and looked at her pretty warm pussy.
"Fucking hell." I whispered against her sex, "if you could see yourself from my view, fucking exquisite."
I wanted her to smile at me.
The way she was looking at the sky with so much adoration, so beautifully.
With her beautiful soft smile.
I would be so freaking goner if she looks at me with those hazel brown eyes and smiles at me.
Or ask anything.
I'll give her everything in a heartbeat, throw the world on her feet. At one word.
I sucked her pussy lips, her arch back. She let out a soft whimper. "J-Jimin."
Fuck, she moaned my name.
That was so hot.
"Say that again." I growled.
"Jimin" she whimpered.
"Yes, angel eyes. Moan my name again." I whispered against her pussy, sucking on her clit. Darting my tongue out to lap on her nectar. Sliding my tongue inside her warm hole.
"Jimin." She whimpered again, more like crying out loud for me. Pretty tears rolled down her breathtakingly beautiful face.
Her nose red, her cheeks flushed, swollen lips. Her nipples puckered up. She was looking like a mess. My mess.
I bit her clit gently, she mewled and i instantly soothed the pain with my tongue.
She completed the part of me that had been jagged and raw, fitting inside with softness and naiveness. Soothing the beast inside me that is hungry for her.
She came again, against my mouth.
Her pussy was so sensitive.
So amazing.
So warm.
I locked my eyes with her, her chest rose and fell.
I went up towards her mouth. "Taste yourself." And smashed my lips, kissing her hungrily. Like i have been starving for months.
I pinched her nipples, she gasped. Taking the chance i slide my tongue inside her mouth. "I want you to look at me all the time what i do to you."
I panted against her lips, slid down my pants along with my boxers.
She crawled backwards, i grabbed her ankle and yanked her back down. "Where do you think you're going?"
"D-don't do this." She whispered, looking at me. "Your body says otherwise, angel eyes." I tied her hands with a headboard with my belt.
"I want to travel with you and fuck you in every city we go."
It was random.
But a desire.
"See this?" I gestured towards my hardened cock. "It's so ready for you, since the day you entered our life."
She shakes her head.
She tried to wiggle out from the belt, i spread her legs and rubbed my tip against her entrance.
"I want you to look at me while i fuck you." I whispered. "Tell me you're ours."
"I-I'm no-"
She was cut off, i slid inside in one go. Stretching her open.
She was goddamn tight.
So fucking tight.
She sobbed loudly, clinging on the belt. "H-hurts." She cried softly, whimpering in pain.
I moved thrusting in and out.
"It will go away, trust me." I whispered against her ear.
My thrust didn't stop for a minute. I went deeper and deeper. Slowly slowly her sob subtle and she panted gently.
Spreading her legs more, i hit the g-spot. She moaned softly. Whimpering.
"If me or other two saw you, letting another man touching you or admiring you. I will swear to fucking god, cyra. I'll kill him in front you."
My thrust become harder and erect.
I pounded.
Her breath hitched at my words, she was trying to keep her shit together. She was being fucked by me.
Brutally.
Fiercely.
"And I'm not fucking bluffing." I grabbed her one leg throwing over my shoulder and went deeper again.
"You."
Thrust.
"Are."
Thrust.
"Ours."
And i came inside her.
I look down, her blood on my cock so does her come.
She looks beautiful like this.
She was so hazed what was going around her, i grabbed her purity ring and placed it on the side table. Taking a mental note to - keep it around me.
I didn't stopped, not until exhaustion surrounded her. Whenever she thinks I'm done, i go more faster and deeper.
I didn't stopped until she forget how many time she came.
Until her legs trembled badly.

a big mercy in the world is that it's actually much harder to hijack someone's behaviour with some kinda visual stimulus than capital would like.
so despite the constant semiotic fusillades of advertisers trying to 'shit in your brain' as the ad hacking slogan goes, you still get better at shutting it out. the advertisers have to resort to more and more desperate means to try to get you to buy product. of course they sell this to their clients as subtle behavioral modifications that manifest without the target even realising. but despite the occasional breakout viral success, it's mostly just a zero sum desperate battle to remind you that they exist at all. most ad exposures are wasted on people who either were never going to buy the thing or were already going to buy the thing. advertisers mostly just copy other advertisers and follow fads but present themselves as the key to success like a court alchemist to a king. overall it's a cancer swallowing up more and more of its host.
this does not make it any less annoying.
anyway, ads are only one part of marketing, and since they kind of suck, the modern method to promote your shit is to try to get 'organic' promotion through word of mouth, positive user reviews on a storefront, etc. so of course many companies cultivate 'influencers', post shill reviews, buy fake metrics, and all that. since all these mechanisms then become immediately less trustworthy, an arms race develops of trying to camouflage the fake marketing speech as 'genuine', 'honest', 'unbiased' etc. the result of this on communication is bad, there's chaff everywhere, but once again the effort of the marketer trying to control you bounces off the wall that people hate it and will not go along with it if they can help it.
a more subtle approach is to just try and cultivate people assigning themselves the role of reviewer. this can create something a bit more symbiotic. the reviewer gets to build an identity out of consuming product and being a discerning connoisseur, and the stuff they like gets free marketing written about it. hence sites like goodreads and letterboxd. not only that but when the thing they like does well, the reviewer gets to feel proud that they acted as a kingmaker.
one weird upshot of all this is that a small company will get really worked up about a negative review on a platform from some rando and go out of their way to placate them. i feel like we're going to see more people exploiting this - ig the gacha mra shit in korea is in part a ripple of that, though those cunts went a lot further than just review bombing.
anyway I've participated in this machine. arguably all the writing about fiction i do on this blog is feeding into it. when i think about it, i think it stinks, but I'm not sure what else to do. there are authors i admire, and who are my friends, i want them to be read by people and have bread on the table.
obviously just because there are powerful actors whose primary concern is moving product doesn't reduce all the discussion of art to elaborate games around moving product. in some sense the 'product review' form is an invading force, best disregarded. but i feel like it would be unwise to ignore the ecological mechanisms underlying what gets made and how and what makes its way to my eyeballs... and how my own behaviours belong to that ecosystem. even if it's depressing to think in those terms.

Tumblr media
6:00 AM | Spring | Your Home
"Your our new mission," those words would come to haunt you. By-gone were your days of throwing your phone at the wall and yelling at your home's digital assistant, 'X.' To having your burnt toast with a shot of vodka to get your system started for the workday ahead of you. No- the boys would not allow you these things, nor a lonely moment as Johnny woke you up with a smile, jumping onto the other side of the bed as eggs and freshly-squeezed juice came wafting up the stares. Pots and pans banging to the morning news as you groaned, turning yourself over, trying to hide yourself deeper within the covers.
"C'mon Daniels, you should be used to our antics by now. We have a meet in 2 hours, gotta be looking good for the chief-"
"He can suck my ass, fucking putting me on that fucking mission in the first place. They all can go to hell," you grumble into a shriek as Soap quite literally shoves you off the bed and onto your carpeted floors. "Well that hurt, thanks Soap," you spit back, standing up with a huff before slamming the bathroom door closed, the sounds of running water had Johnny giving himself a self-high-five and he ventured back down the stairs.
John leaned against the counter, papers in hand as his gazed snapped up to his teammate, "They up?"
"Oh yeah," Soap answered, pouring himself a coffee before taking a seat beside the captain, a plate being served by Simon. Gaz tries not to laugh, coming out of your pantry with a set of tea-bags in hand watching as the giant tries to navigate your small living space with sub-optimal grace.
--
You gripped the steering wheel the whole way downtown, having to listen to Gaz and Soap's pointless arguments as they debated is Zebras have black or white stripes. John looked at you from the passengers seat, turning up the radio in a social cue to the boys in the back as you pulled into a parking space. Throwing the keys into his lap and slamming the door closed you scanned your ID, presenting a small smile to the newest secretary before locking yourself in your office, taking a deep breath in silence.
You would be lying to yourself if you didn't miss the constant silence that trailed your presence in the office space, everyone not knowing quite what to say or seeing your drink-driven self stumbling throughout the halls. It all felt worthless, empty, the fun of the job completely stricken without Whitby's pet names calling after you, his hand on your back, guiding you into meeting after meeting, or his humor through your radio as you wrote notes on his assignments back at home-base.
You felt sick, having to work, having to act as a Handler knowing that you ended up killing one of your men- who's to say you wouldn't do it again- but before these thoughts could consume you, like clockwork another pair of the boys had wrangled their way into your space with bright smiles, pressed suits, and a tray of snacks and tea in hand. "Ready for a meeting?"
--
6:00 AM | Summer | Your Home
The cycle would continue, the boys somehow breaking through your security systems- Soap always looked extra guilty. Shifting his eyes away from your sights, feet shifting as Gaz chuckled, "We are good at are work." Casting you a wink as you sighed, slowly falling into compliance, trying to hide a smile as fresh breakfast coating your counter tops and people talked to you about anything other than death when you were willing too.
Butt when the night came, you hated it, hated the way you were moving on- seemingly too quickly. Whitbys voice haunted your dreams, his promises of adventures without weapons and suits, cameras or contracts. So you put on a record, leaning against your coffee table in front of your electric fireplace, fingers pinching against your leg as you eyed your phone. A few of Price's messages left unanswered alongside Laswell's.
You fell asleep on the floor that night and in the morning Simon threw a blanket on top of your form, quietly brewing a pot of coffee while shifting through your cabinets for something to make, Johnnys booming voice echoed from the front door as Ghost cursed underneath his breath, you slammed your head against the wooden furniture, gun clicking into place as you rounded the corner. His hands pressed upwards, grocery bags dropping as an apple rolled down the hall, stopping at your slippers. "Morning!"
--
And yet, you were back at the office again. Suit freshly washed, a few new sets already in the works as you talked with Charlotte for the first time in months and yet, when you first looked into her eyes. Struggling for an apology, trying to find the right words for your lack of appearance. She pulled you into a hug, cursing your name playfully before joining your tears into her shoulder. "I missed you, Handler."
"I missed you too, Doctor, so very much."
--
You and Charlotte would train the newest agents, you were saddened to see such early versions of yourself, asking yourself where the time went, in a way where your life went. Yet their smiles, jokes, and spirits reminded you of Whitby. His never ending teasing or endless stream of thoughts he would converse with you. It had you chuckling in their faces as you flung another to the mat, raced down tree-lines with gear on your back in endurance training or in the firing rang as Charlotte yelled orders. You felt yourself slipping slowly back, allowing for her voice to order you and the fellow trainee's around for the few weeks you shared together before they all were sent away once more.
You through your hair back off your forehead, gaze snapping as the 141 boys cheered for you from behind the glass as you passed your quarterly fitness examination. You gave them a nod, heading towards the showers and once the adrenaline wore off, Charlottes voice was no longer ringing through your skull, you began to cry without a reason as to why. Just gripping the tiled wall as your shoulder heaved, the water turning cool as you glided into a towel, into a suit, and out the door once more. Taking a break out back once more, Simon silently joined yourself, picking up a lighter you both stared off to the park cars in the alleyway before Price was calling you all in for dinner orders.
--
Dinner, it was the time you looked forward most to. Your growing team with Jacobs and Jason, followed by Charlotte entering the room, various plates and games in their arms as they joined your crew. The office had a near daily board games event, debriefing with playing Monopoly or a supposed, "rigged" game of life as Gaz put it jamming a finger in your face, accusing you of cheating as you casted him a middle finger with a smile. He matched your expression with excited eyes.
--
1:00 PM | Autumn | Somewhere in the Country Side
Spring had slipped away just as the summer heat, you packed yourself back into layers in order to hide away from the chilling air. Today you would be embarking on your longest hike yet, Simon had commented on taking one of your weekends every month for a hike, and today would mark your 7th together.
You breathed in deep the crisp air, closing your eyes as you paused on the pathway before feeling for your cigarettes, you had stopped the drinking yet couldn't give it all up just yet, the itching in your spine, the sweat dripping down your forehead as you looked up the rest of the hill ahead of yourself, Simon paying no mind to your stoppage.
You took a deep breath of smoke in, coughing up the taste as it had been a few weeks since your last smoke. Your eyes started to burn fore you casted the remainder of the bud against your pant leg, stamping it out before chucking the remainders in your pocket. Picking up a light job to catch up to Ghost who stood now at the top, looking down at you expectedly as you neared.
"Nice view," you commented, looking over the yellow and red trees they swayed lightly in the wind. He grumbled out a yes, sitting back on a fallen log as you did the same. Opening his bag, you both took out snacks and water as you became absorbed by the sounds of the world before you. Birds wings fluttered, chirping in the skies above, A few snapped twigs off to your side reminded you of the shy animals hidden in the trees as a squirrel darted off bast your feet.
--
You came to host the games nights as Laswell invited over her wife. She brought a homemade cheese cake that you ate a few too many slices of, now feeling the food-coma overcoming you, losing whatever game was currently in play as your eyes became heavy.
A series of light snores had everyone softening their voices, Laswell and John observed your sleeping form with softened eyes. "They look to be someplace happy," you shifted into a smile, "yeah," John added to the conversation, placing his wining hand down as Johnny nearly flipped the table, cursing out the group before being quieted by a drunk Gaz covering his mouth with a hand, tilting his head over to you.
--
12:00 PM | Winter | Taylor's Tailors
Winter was a long and slow season, work had slowed down yet no-one dared to comment before a new recruit was tackled to the floor for saying the criminals were celebrating the holidays for the year. Rolling your eyes into a smile, you brewed yourself a new cup of coffee as you leaned against the printer, nodding along to whatever Samantha had to say as she ranted about her newest agents lack of regard to their personal safety after falling three stories and running after a convict.
You sat down together in the staff room, offering your own advice as you had finally signed the papers for that promotion. 'Handler of Handlers' Charlotte commented one afternoon as you requested the results of the quarterly exam. It was a new experience, being so far removed from the fields yet the distinction helped you to move on in many ways, not forgetting but being able to take a step back, regarding all the past to present and accepting the decades you worked together with fondness sprinkled with regret.
--
A few years later...
A phone called surprised you one morning, Price's name flashing across the screen as it had been some time since you last seen the boys at work, a part of you forgetting that in your new navy blue suit and pictures framed on the wall, a connection to Whitbys mom and a new dog established a mission finished that you never quite noticed up until now. "You boys are very clever, arn't you all, how's the military treating you, camo was very last year, I hope you know-"
"Hello to you too, Daniels," the Captain chuckles back to you, you can hear whatever chair he sits in squeaks to the movements. "Anything I can help you with?" you ask, fingers dancing across the keyboard, preparing an email to Laswell.
"Not exactly, but we all wanted to invite you to our wedding."
"Our wedding?" your voice raises, eyes now opening a tab to facebook as you stalked each of their feeds only to come up with nothing.
"Yeah... we met a officer. Great one at that, our team photographer, they go by Dice," you can hear the mans smile as you can't help put smile for him as well.
"Thats fucking incredible man! Oh my, when did this all happen, I-... wow. Give an Agent a minute or too, I thought I would be on this shit just like Laswell's..."
A series of laughs erruput in the background as you make an inquisitive, high pitched tone in question. "You're on speaker," Simon says as the rest of the boys yell out their hellos.
--
The boys go on to give your the rundown of the event and the overarching points leading up until now as you checked out of work early and made your way home, laughing and crying alongside their story.
"Well of course Im going to your wedding! Have to meet this Dice of yours, they have any friends or siblings" you tease out.
"Actually..." Gaz pipes up, looking around the room as your fingers tap against the steering wheel, sitting in your driveway, not wanting to end the call at this new information.
"So, they go by fish-"
"What the fuck are these codenames, seriously guys, fish?" you question.
"You're one to speak Daniels," Soap retorts, defending the stranger as a series of laughs consume the call, echoing around your car as you lean back, ending the call with a smile before stressing out on what you were going to wear.
--
It was bittersweet to attend the ceremony as you blinked past tears, throwing rice as they all ran down the isle together. You walked around their new house together, admiring the green scenery around you all as the summer sun illuminated the various colourful petals of the flowers inside the garden.
Pouring yourself a glass of lemonade, a dip in the couch had your gaze casting over to a tall woman. She placed her boots on the couch table across form you both. Setting her own glass down in her lap as he sunglasses slid down her nose as she gave you a once over. A playful smile pinching the corner of her eyes as you tipped your head in greeting. "Names Daniels, do you happen t be the infamous Fish everyones been tellin' me about?"
"My name would look rather good in lights but I rather hear you calling me Gabby, pleasure to meet you Daniels. Price was telling me all about your missions together when they came back, did you really slit a guys throat open in an ice cream parlour?"
--
And just like that conversation flew easily between the two of you, both unaware to everyone keeping away from the bubble you both had formed as they obsessed you both from inside. "Think they will get together?" Gaz asks, pulling an arm around Dice that snuggles further into their side. "Nah, they'll kill each other before that, sure of it," Soap responds, taking a swig from his drink before pulling Simon to a dance. Price taps against the glass window behind you both, you two startle to attention, now glaring at the man as he waves you both inside, pointing to the dimming sun as bugs rapidly surround you both.
Joining Gaz and Simon on the dance floor, you give Gabby a twirl as she dips you with a playful smile. You both whisper jokes into one another tear, nails digging into skin as your foreheads crash against one another. "Wanna go for a smoke?" Gabby softly asks, eyes darting over your shoulder and towards the front door.
"Yeah, just gonna get freshened up, be out soon," you give her hand a squeeze. It's already the next day as you check your watch and fix your hair. Hands pressed against either side of the sink, a voice drifts from memory as if the present as you make your way to join the lady waiting for you outside, "...and maybe one day we will dance together again but for now- it's time you took some lessons and find a new partner, I will be waiting to see all your new move..."

All About: Leo ♌︎ - The Zodiac Signs
Tumblr media
This post will cover all the basic information needed to understand Leo, the fifth Zodiac Sign!
Take a look at my other posts to see information on: Aries, Taurus, Gemini and Cancer!
Virgo is coming next, so watch out if you're interested!
If you feel like this post has helped you feel free to Follow, Reblog or Repost (as long as I'm credited! I'm relatively new to Tumblr so I'm still learning about how all this works)!
~
Leo ♌︎
Date (Only applies to Sun Signs): July 23 - August 22
Symbol: ♌︎ - The Lion
Associated House: Fifth
Associated Degrees: 5°, 17°, 29°
Associated Energy: Masculine
Planetary Ruler(s): ☉ Sun (Modern and Traditional)
Element: Fire
Modality: Fixed
Keywords: Bold, Playful, Generous, Ambitious, Creative, Warm
Leo, the Zodiac Sign that is generous, fun-loving and naturally very expressive - this placement has a strong creative streak and good sense of self-worth! This sign is also often very attractive and have a certain charm to them which just draws people and opportunities to them and they're proud of it! Leo placements are very warm and extremely protective of those they admire (or those that admire them)! Not only that, but Leo placements are also very ambitious and committed to causes they are passionate about, able to stick to a long-term goal and not get demotivated. Due to Leo's natural talents, they may be very good in positions where they are the centre of attention and deal well with public speaking!
The only few times a Leo may get demotivated would be when they start feeling insecure about themselves and the way they express themselves - loneliness and boring routines can really get a Leo down, especially if they feel like they are being forced to do something. They need excitement, passion and fun in their lives after all!
When they get down or upset, they may have a tendency to come across as whiny and withdraw from everyone around them, feeling like they have nothing exciting in their lives. From what I've observed, Leo placements may even experience some kind of depressive episode. On the other end, this placement may have a huge tendency to overthink and obsess over little details, maybe over their appearance or their behaviour. This can really sabotage a Leo's sense of self-worth and in some other cases... this sign can lose all warmth and be cold to those who wish to talk to them, perhaps become self-absorbed or even controlling.
When a Leo is enjoying life's pleasures, confident, it's possible they could become obsessive or fixated over a hobby, person or something else in their life that helps them express themself. Sometimes so fixated that it consumes parts of their life and they feel anxious or defensive when their worldview or interest is critiqued. It's important for Leo to practice open-mindedness and try to avoid black and white thinking in order to really be at peace with themselves and increase their sense of self worth.

Notes/Keywords/Phrases
Zodiac Sign
Each of the Zodiac Signs are a constellation. The Zodiac Sign shows how a Planet/Asteroid/Fixed Point/House is being represented and expressed. Once a Planet/Asteroid/Fixed Point/House falls into a Zodiac Sign, it adopts the energy of it.
For example: if Mercury falls into the constellation Sagittarius, Mercury adopts Sagittarian traits. If the 6th House falls into the constellation Aquarius, the 6th House adopts Aquarian traits.
Associated House
The Houses in Astrology are dependent on the time and location of birth in a Natal Chart and there are 12 different ones. Each of these 12 Houses are then assigned to a Zodiac Sign and 1 or 2 Planetary Rulers. The Houses in Astrology show you what area of life the energy of the Zodiac and Planets/Asteroids/Fixed Points is appointed to and helps provide depth into the chart.
For example: Capricorn's Associated House is the 10th House.
Associated Degrees
When a Planet/Asteroid/Fixed Point/House falls into a Zodiac Sign constellation, it will be appointed a Degree. This Degree shows how far along the Planet/Asteroid/Fixed Point/House is in a Zodiac Sign. Each Degree is also associated with a Zodiac Sign, meaning when this Degree comes up it can nuance the way the Zodiac Sign of a Planet/Asteroid/Fixed Point/House is being represented.
For example: Mars is 6° in the Zodiac Cancer, 6° represents Virgo - therefore the Cancer Mars also takes on Virgo traits. The 2nd House is 23° in the Zodiac Scorpio, 23° represents Aquarius - therefore the 2nd House in Scorpio takes on Aquarian traits.
Planetary Ruler(s)
This phrase refers to the Planet(s) that rule a Zodiac Sign. When a Planet falls into the Zodiac Sign it has rulership over, the energy of both the Planet and the Zodiac Sign is amplified.
For example: Pisces' Planetary Ruler is Neptune.
Modern / Traditional
These words are associated with two kinds of Astrology: Modern Astrology and Traditional Astrology. Traditional Astrology refers to Astrology that was practiced before the 19th century, whilst Modern Astrology refers to Astrology that is practiced now. Some people choose to practice Traditional Astrology, some people choose to practice Modern Astrology, whilst some others might practice both types or combine them together.
Element
Each Zodiac Sign/Planet/House/Degree is associated with an Element and this covers certain traits which are unique to the Zodiac Sign/Planet/House/Degree they correspond to.
These Elements are: Fire, Air, Water and Earth.
Modality
Much like an Element, each Zodiac Sign/Planet/House/Degree is associated with a Modality. The Modality describes what the focus of a placement is and how the energy is expressed.
There are 3 different Modalities: Cardinal, Mutable and Fixed.

8 simple Habits to feel more energised
Note: These are not by me, all credits to Rainbow Plant Life on Youtube. https://youtu.be/iFtqudy39sA?si=-X5jCv5vDOuH34X
1. First thing in the morning, get some sunlight.
People exposed to sunlight (or very bright artificial light) in the morning start nocturnal melatonin production sooner and therefore enter into sleep mode better at night.
2. Be conscious of your Caffeine intake.
Don't consume caffeine too late in the day. With a half life of 5 hours, caffeine stays in your system for a long time and can disrupt your sleep schedule.
Consuming caffeine too early affects the build-up of adenosine (a neurotransmitter promoting sleep drive) and therefore your circadian rhythm.
3. Remove distractions from your Workplace.
"Multitasking" is essentially just switching between different tasks very fast and can make you more tired and work less efficiently. Getting fully back into a task after switching can take up to 20 minutes, disrupting your work flow.
So if you don't explicitly need your phone for the task, put it away. FAR away. Even tucked away in a drawer in the same room the thought of it CAN actively distract you.
4. Avoid having lots of Sugar in your Breakfast.
Sugary foods on an empty stomach can make your glucose levels spike fast and high and later crash, causing your energy to plummet with it.
Instead, switch for a savoury, balanced meal with lots of protein, fiber and healthy fats. Safe sweets dessert for AFTER a meal, rather than the main course.
5. Go for a short Walk after a Big Meal
A light walk after a meal, even for just 5 minutes, can have a significant impact on moderating blood sugar levels.
If you don't have the option to walk, move your feat a bit, pace, take the stairs or stretch for a few minutes.
6. Plan and implement a "Workday Shutdown Ritual"
Take 5 to 10 minutes at the end of your Workday to plan ahead for the next Workday. Get all those worries and thoughts onto paper: Write down goals, tasks to revisit, rest time and even things like lunch and then assign time slots if you like.
This might help you unwind at night, keeping you from worrying about tomorrow and promising better sleep.
7. Use "Temptation Bundling"
To boost your willpower, you'll pair a pleasurable indulgence with a task or behaviour that provides delayed rewards (like exercise for strength or meditation for inner balance).

What Makes a BA Honors in Economics a Smart Career Choice
In today’s data-driven and globally connected world, the need for professionals who understand how economies work is greater than ever. Whether it’s addressing unemployment, managing inflation, advising policy, or analysing markets, economics is at the core of many decisions that shape our lives. This is why pursuing a BA Honors in Economics has become a popular and rewarding academic path.
But what exactly does this degree offer, and why should it be on your radar if you’re considering a career in economics, policy, finance, or research? Here’s a detailed look at why this undergraduate program is more relevant than ever and what you should expect from a well-designed course.
A deep dive into economic theory and practice
A BA Honors in Economics offers a rigorous foundation in both microeconomics and macroeconomics. You’ll explore topics like market dynamics, consumer behaviour, fiscal policy, international trade, and development economics. Unlike a general BA, the honors track gives students a deeper and more structured understanding of complex economic principles and their applications.
But it’s not just about theory. Good programs integrate real-world examples, case studies, and assignments that make abstract concepts easier to grasp. This balanced approach helps students build strong analytical and critical thinking skills—skills that are essential in the real world.
Strong focus on data and quantitative skills
Economics today goes hand-in-hand with data analysis. That’s why a quality BA Honors in Economics program includes training in statistics, econometrics, and research methods. These subjects teach students how to gather data, test economic theories, and draw meaningful insights using tools like regression analysis and forecasting models.
Learning to work with data prepares students for roles in banking, consulting, policy-making, and even emerging fields like data science. The ability to analyse trends and back decisions with evidence is a skill in high demand across industries.
Career versatility and scope
One of the biggest advantages of studying economics is the versatility it offers. A graduate with a BA Honors in Economics can explore a wide range of careers, including:
Economic research and analysis
Financial planning and investment advisory
Civil services and government policy
Data analytics and market research
Banking and insurance
International development and NGOs
It also serves as a strong foundation for higher studies, such as MA in Economics, MBA, or even law and public policy. Whether your interest lies in business, government, or social change, this degree gives you the flexibility to chart your path.
Developing decision-making and problem-solving skills
Economics is not just about numbers - it’s about making choices. Through coursework and discussions, students learn to evaluate trade-offs, weigh costs and benefits, and consider long-term outcomes. These decision-making skills are valuable in any role that requires planning, strategy, or leadership.
Over time, you also become more aware of how government policies, international events, and market trends influence everyday life. This makes you a more informed professional and citizen.
Research and independent thinking
Another major benefit of pursuing an honors program is the emphasis on research. A BA Honors in Economics encourages students to engage in independent projects and explore contemporary issues through data and analysis. These opportunities help you build a strong academic profile and give you an edge if you plan to pursue postgraduate education.
Research-based learning also promotes intellectual curiosity and encourages you to look beyond textbooks. It teaches you how to ask the right questions and find evidence-based answers.
Learning from experienced faculty
Choosing the right university for your BA Honors in Economics can make all the difference. A strong program should be taught by experienced faculty members who not only have academic expertise but also industry or policy experience.
At IMS Unison University in Dehradun, the School of Management offers a well-rounded BA Honors in Economics program that blends academic theory with practical learning. Faculty members are deeply engaged in research and bring real-world insights into the classroom, making the subject more relatable and engaging for students.
Exposure to internships and industry interactions
Economics may seem like a theoretical subject, but it has practical applications in every sector. That’s why internships and industry exposure are important parts of any top-tier economics program. Students should have the opportunity to work with financial institutions, think tanks, or development organisations to apply what they’ve learned.
IMS Unison University offers such opportunities through partnerships with corporates, public institutions, and research organisations. These internships help students understand the practical side of economics and build a network of professional contacts even before they graduate.
A balanced and flexible academic environment
Another factor to consider is the learning environment. A good economics program should offer a mix of core subjects, electives, and extracurricular opportunities. This helps students tailor their learning experience to match their interests and career goals.
IMS Unison University’s BA Honors in Economics program offers specialisations in areas such as Development Economics, International Trade, and Economic Policy. The campus culture promotes learning both inside and outside the classroom through workshops, debates, and economics clubs.
Conclusion
If you are looking for a degree that offers intellectual depth, career flexibility, and the chance to make an impact, a BA Honors in Economics is worth serious consideration. It is a course that opens up a world of possibilities—whether in policy-making, business, research, or international development.
IMS Unison University offers one of the most thoughtfully designed programs in this field, combining academic rigor with practical exposure. With experienced faculty, modern infrastructure, and a supportive learning environment, it prepares students to succeed in a competitive and ever-changing world.
If economics fascinates you and you’re ready to explore how markets work and policies shape our world, then this could be the right step forward.

The Power of Marketing Semiotics: Unravelling Consumer Behaviour and Real-World Applications
Introduction to Marketing Semiotics
Marketing today goes beyond catchy slogans and appealing visuals. It’s about understanding the subtle cues that connect brands with their audience on a deeper level. Enter marketing semiotics, the art and science of interpreting signs and symbols to influence consumer behaviour.
Tumblr media
What Are Semiotics?
Semiotics, often called the science of signs, studies how we assign meaning to symbols. From traffic lights to emojis, symbols surround us, shaping our understanding of the world. In marketing, these signs convey brand values, evoke emotions, and build connections.
Culture plays a significant role here. For instance, a white dress symbolises purity in Western traditions but mourning in some Asian cultures. Context, therefore, is key.
Semiotics and Consumer Behaviour
Consumers are constantly interpreting the world around them, often subconsciously. This makes semiotics and consumer behaviour deeply intertwined.
Symbols like a logo or a colour scheme evoke emotions, recall memories, or even establish trust. For example, the golden arches of McDonald’s are more than just a logo—they symbolise comfort food and convenience.
Culture and emotions also influence how consumers perceive brands. An ad with a red backdrop might evoke excitement in the West but could symbolise danger in other regions.
The Relationship Between Brands and Symbols
Brands thrive on recognisable symbols. Think of Nike’s swoosh or Apple’s bitten fruit. These symbols aren’t just logos—they’re stories, emotions, and promises wrapped into a single image.
Successful brands harness marketing semiotics to create a lasting impression. Coca-Cola’s use of red and its signature script font are more than design choices; they convey energy and joy.
How Semiotics Influence Buying Decisions
When buying decisions are made, semiotics plays a significant role. It’s not just what the product is but what it represents.
Take Tiffany & Co., for example. Its robin’s egg blue packaging isn’t just a box—it’s a symbol of luxury and romance. By leveraging semiotics, brands tap into consumer psychology to make products irresistible.
Applications of Semiotics in Marketing
Semiotics is everywhere in marketing, from the design of products to the way they’re advertised.
Product Design: Shapes, colours, and materials send signals about quality and purpose.
Advertising Campaigns: Powerful visuals and slogans use semiotics to resonate emotionally with audiences.
Packaging: The unboxing experience itself becomes a semiotic event, shaping perceptions of the product inside.
The Role of Colours and Shapes in Semiotics
Colours and shapes are the building blocks of marketing semiotics. They evoke emotions and establish meanings.
For example, blue often signifies trust and stability, making it a popular choice for financial brands. Shapes like circles convey unity and softness, while sharp angles represent strength and innovation.
Semiotics in Digital Marketing
Digital spaces are rich with semiotic opportunities. From social media posts to website designs, brands use signs to connect with their audiences.
One fascinating example is emojis. They’ve become a universal language of emotion, helping brands communicate playfully and effectively.
Cultural Sensitivity in Semiotic Marketing
Global brands must navigate cultural differences with care. Symbols that work in one culture might misfire in another.
For example, a thumbs-up gesture is positive in many countries but offensive in some Middle Eastern cultures. Understanding these nuances is essential for success in international markets.
Challenges in Using Semiotics
Despite its advantages, semiotics isn’t without challenges. Overcomplicating symbols can confuse consumers, while misinterpretation can harm a brand's reputation.
For instance, poorly researched advertisements can unintentionally offend or alienate certain groups.
Future Trends in Marketing Semiotics
As technology advances, so do semiotic strategies. AI is beginning to analyse consumer preferences, predicting which signs will resonate most.
The way consumers interpret symbols is also evolving. Younger generations, for instance, associate digital icons and memes with brands more than traditional logos.
Conclusion
Semiotics is the silent but powerful force shaping the way brands interact with their audiences. By understanding and applying it thoughtfully, businesses can foster deeper connections, inspire loyalty, and drive sales.
FAQs
What is marketing semiotics? Marketing semiotics involves studying signs and symbols to understand and influence consumer behaviour.
How does semiotics impact consumer behaviour? It helps decode how consumers perceive and respond to symbols, influencing their buying decisions.
Can semiotics be applied to all industries? Absolutely! From tech to fashion, every industry can leverage semiotics to build stronger connections with its audience.
What role does culture play in semiotics? Culture shapes how symbols are interpreted, making it crucial for brands to tailor their messaging to different cultural contexts.
What are some real-world applications of semiotics in marketing? Applications include product design, advertising, branding, and packaging, all aimed at creating emotional connections with consumers.

The Role of CRM Software in Data Security and Compliance

Introducton
In the age of the digital-first economy, data security for CRM software is a necessity rather than a nice-to-have. Organisations deal with an incredible amount of customer data, ranging from contact information to behavioural insights. Data is great for personalisation and marketing, but data also comes with risks, particularly if not securely managed.
The increasing demand for strong data governance practices will only increase as compliance regulations emerge, such as GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, and others. Non-compliance may lead to penalties or massive fines, but more importantly, loss of customer trust.
In this article, we discuss how Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems help businesses protect sensitive customer information while remaining compliant with regulations.
Why Data Security is Important in Customer Relationship Management
CRM is based on trust. Clients provide their information trusting it to be stored securely and used fairly. This is where customer data security in CRM is especially mission-critical.
Risks of Inadequate Data Security:
Leaked private customer information due to data breaches
Fraud and misuse stemming from unauthorized access
Non-compliance with local and international data protection laws
Customer churn from reputational damage
CRM systems store more than names and numbers—they house purchase history, preferences, communication logs, and financial data. A breach of this data can have catastrophic consequences for both the customer and the business.
Important Data Security Features of CRM Software
Today's CRM software data security features are more than just basic password protection. Leading platforms take a multi-layered security approach to protect their software from internal and external threats.
1. Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
With CRM systems, permissions can be assigned based on roles. Not all employees need access to every record.
2. End-to-end Encryption
Data at rest and data in transit are encrypted to ensure they cannot be hacked or corrupted during transit.
3. Multi-Factor Authentication
Provides an extra layer of protection by requiring a secondary form of verification in addition to the password.
4. Secure APIs
APIs are gateways for integrations. Secure CRM software will limit API calls and use encrypted endpoints.
5. Real-Time Threat Detection
AI-powered CRMs can detect unusual activities, unauthorised logins, or suspicious data access patterns in real-time.
6. Regular Backups and Disaster Recovery
Systems are automatically backed up, ensuring data recovery in the event of loss or corruption.
These CRM security features help organisations stay ahead of cyber threats while providing peace of mind to customers.
How CRM Software Helps Ensure Regulatory Compliance
In addition to protecting customer data, CRMs can provide a strategy for CRMs compliance management to help organisations comply with laws for user privacy protection.
General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
CRMs in the EU or with EU citizens must:
Allow users to see all stored personal data upon request
Provide for the "right to be forgotten" by deleting the user data upon request
Provide user consent tracking
Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)
Healthcare CRMs must safeguard Protected Health Information (PHI) by:
Using encryption
Limiting access to authorized staff
Maintaining audit logs
California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA)
For California residents:
Data must be disclosed upon request
Customers can opt-out of data sale
Personal data must be deleted upon request
CRMs ensure compliance by automating these processes and maintaining logs to prove compliance during audits.
Advantages of Using CRM for Data Security and Compliance
1. Centralised Data Storage
All customer information is stored in one system with a CRM, making it easier to secure and audit.
2. Streamlining Compliance Activities
Using a CRM provides built-in consent tracking, privacy settings, and access and authorisations for customers to make it easier to meet the regulations.
3. Increased Customer Trust
With transparency tools (e.g., a tool allowing customers to view and/or edit their data) customers are offered increased trust in the business, providing an opportunity for loyalty.
4. Automation Eliminates Human Error
Automating business processes related to sensitive tasks, such as deletion or alteration of customer data, is already handled by a CRM, so there is a reduced chance of the customer interaction causing human error.
5. Scale
Security features for CRM have better opportunities to scale with behaviour compared to regulations, which is important when handling larger datasets as your business grows.
Barriers to Security Compliance and Data Integrity with CRM and Ways to Address
Although CRMs leverage great tools, there are barriers.
1. User Negligence.
No amount of software can prevent bad behaviour from the users.
Solution: Require ongoing training and role-based access.
2. Loose Integration Security.
Integration of third-party apps with a CRM creates data exposure.
Solution: Review every integration and require CRMs with secure API management.
 3. Lack of Configuration.
By default, a feature might not facilitate your privacy.
Solution: Review and configure privacy and compliance features on the software onboarding.
4. Data Sprawl.
Ultimately, data will reside everywhere for a multitude of reasons, which can lead to a security risk.
Solution: Use your CRM as the only source of truth for customer data.
Consequently, with a proactive attitude, barriers will flip into opportunities for greater security compliance and data integration
Conclusion
In an era where data breaches and privacy laws are often highlighted in the news, having a data security strategy for your CRM software is no longer optional; it is simply a necessity. CRM platforms like Salesforce, Zoho, HubSpot, and others have evolved to be more than a place to manage customer relationships. They now stand guard over your business's most precious asset: customer trust.
Employing data privacy with CRM software means that your business not only is being compliant with global regulations but also is establishing a brand that is stronger and safer. As cybersecurity threats evolve, so too should your tools, with CRM software leading the charge.

Strategic Planning Tactics That Drive Long-Term Success
Understanding the Essence of Strategic Planning
Strategic planning is a structured process that organisations use to define their direction, make informed decisions, and allocate resources effectively to achieve long-term goals. It plays a pivotal role in navigating changing market dynamics, aligning operations with mission and vision, and fostering sustainable growth.
In the Australian business environment, marked by competitive pressures and rapid technological advancements, strategic planning serves as a cornerstone for resilience and innovation. It enables organisations to anticipate challenges, seize opportunities, and maintain a clear focus on objectives.
Tumblr media
The Core Components of Strategic Planning
To drive long-term success, strategic planning must be built on a foundation of well-defined components. Each element plays a critical role in shaping the overall strategy:
Mission and Vision Statements: Clearly articulating the organisation’s purpose and future aspirations ensures that all efforts remain aligned and focused.
Environmental Scanning: Analysing internal strengths and weaknesses, along with external opportunities and threats, helps identify areas for improvement and competitive advantage.
Goal Setting: Establishing measurable, achievable, and time-bound goals is essential for tracking progress and maintaining accountability.

Implementation Plans: Developing actionable steps, assigning responsibilities, and establishing timelines ensure that strategies are executed effectively.
Monitoring and Evaluation: Regularly reviewing performance metrics and outcomes allows organisations to adjust strategies as needed and stay on course.
Effective Strategic Planning Tactics for Long-Term Success
Organisations that thrive in competitive markets typically adopt proven strategic planning tactics to enhance their long-term success:
1. Align Strategy with Core Values and Culture Embedding organisational values into the strategic framework fosters unity and commitment. When employees understand how their roles contribute to the broader mission, engagement and productivity increase.
2. Involve Stakeholders in the Planning Process Engaging key stakeholders, including team members, partners, and customers, provides diverse perspectives and promotes buy-in. Collaborative strategic planning often results in more innovative and practical strategies.
3. Prioritise Flexibility and Adaptability In an ever-evolving market, rigid plans can quickly become obsolete. Adaptive strategic planning enables organisations to respond promptly to disruptions and maintain momentum.
4. Embrace Data-Driven Decision Making Incorporating data analytics into the strategic planning process allows for objective decision-making. Real-time insights into customer behaviour, market trends, and financial performance improve the accuracy of strategic choices.
5. Invest in Leadership Development Strong leadership is essential to the successful execution of any strategy. Ongoing development programs cultivate strategic thinking and empower leaders to guide their teams effectively through change.
6. Integrate Sustainability into Strategy Australian businesses increasingly recognise the value of incorporating environmental and social sustainability into their strategic plans. This approach not only enhances brand reputation but also aligns with regulatory expectations and consumer preferences.
Common Challenges and How to Overcome Them
While strategic planning offers significant benefits, several challenges can hinder its effectiveness:
Lack of Clear Communication: Miscommunication of strategic goals can lead to misalignment across departments. Ensuring transparency and clarity at all levels mitigates this risk.
Resistance to Change: Employees may be hesitant to adopt new strategies. Addressing concerns early and fostering a culture of continuous improvement encourages acceptance.
Insufficient Resource Allocation: Underestimating the resources required can derail strategy execution. Accurate budgeting and capacity planning are vital.
Neglecting Regular Reviews: Without consistent evaluation, strategies can drift off course. Scheduled performance reviews and feedback loops keep plans relevant and impactful.
The Strategic Advantage for Australian Enterprises
For organisations operating in the diverse and competitive Australian market, effective strategic planning provides a distinct edge. Whether scaling operations, entering new markets, or enhancing service delivery, a well-crafted strategy ensures clarity, coherence, and continuity.
Moreover, with increased emphasis on digital transformation, regulatory compliance, and sustainability, Australian businesses must evolve their planning frameworks to address these emerging priorities. By integrating long-term vision with agile execution, companies can secure enduring success.
Conclusion
Achieving long-term success requires more than short-term initiatives or reactive decision-making. Strategic planning is the disciplined approach that aligns an organisation’s goals with its operational capabilities and external environment. When executed effectively, it not only enhances performance but also prepares businesses to thrive amid uncertainty and change.
In the Australian context, where innovation, resilience, and adaptability are paramount, mastering the art of strategic planning can define the difference between surviving and thriving. Through continuous refinement, stakeholder engagement, and data-driven insights, businesses can unlock their full potential and achieve lasting growth.

How Banks Use Credit Scoring Models for Credit Risk Assessment
Tumblr media
In today’s complex financial landscape, banks must make accurate and timely lending decisions to remain profitable and minimize risk. One of the most critical tools in achieving this is the credit scoring model. Used globally, these models play a central role in credit risk assessment in banks, helping them evaluate a borrower’s ability and likelihood to repay a loan. Let’s delve into how banks use credit scoring models to assess risk and make smarter lending decisions.
Understanding Credit Risk Assessment in Banks
Credit risk assessment in banks refers to the process of determining the risk of a borrower defaulting on a loan. This process involves evaluating various financial and behavioural factors to measure the likelihood of repayment. Accurate risk assessment allows banks to price loans appropriately, manage risk exposure, comply with regulations, and maintain financial stability.
Credit scoring models are vital in this process because they offer a standardized, data-driven way to evaluate the creditworthiness of individuals and businesses.
What Are Credit Scoring Models?
Credit scoring models are mathematical algorithms or statistical tools that assign a numerical score to a borrower based on various data points. These models analyze past behavior, financial health, and other relevant factors to predict the likelihood of loan default.
Common inputs include:
Payment history
Credit utilization ratio
Length of credit history
Types of credit used
Number of recent credit inquiries
Income and employment status (in some models)
The result is a credit score, often ranging between 300 and 900 in India, where a higher score indicates a lower credit risk.
Types of Credit Scoring Models Used by Banks
FICO Score: Widely used internationally, the FICO model evaluates consumer behavior across various categories such as payment history, debt levels, and credit mix.
VantageScore: Another commonly used model that considers similar factors but has different weightings and scoring bands.
Custom In-House Models: Many banks in India and globally develop proprietary scoring models tailored to their specific risk appetite, loan products, and customer demographics.
Behavioral Scoring Models: These analyze existing customers’ ongoing banking behavior (such as transaction patterns, salary credits, etc.) to assess future credit risk.
How Banks Use These Models for Credit Risk Assessment
1. Loan Approval Decisioning
At the most basic level, credit scoring helps banks decide whether to approve or reject a loan application. A minimum threshold score is usually set, and applicants below that are typically declined.
2. Risk-Based Pricing
Credit scores also influence the interest rate offered to borrowers. A customer with a high credit score may receive lower interest rates as they are deemed less risky, whereas lower scores attract higher rates.
3. Portfolio Risk Management
Banks regularly monitor the credit scores of existing borrowers to track risk at the portfolio level. Sudden drops in scores can be red flags, prompting pre-emptive actions like increased provisioning or limiting further credit exposure.
4. Regulatory Compliance
Credit risk modelling aligns with regulatory frameworks such as Basel II and III, which require banks to maintain adequate capital based on their risk exposure. Effective credit risk assessment in banks helps them meet these guidelines.
The Role of Technology and Data Analytics
Modern banking relies heavily on big data, machine learning, and artificial intelligence to enhance credit scoring models. These technologies enable banks to analyze thousands of data points beyond traditional credit reports—like social media behavior, digital transaction history, and psychometric testing—to refine their risk assessments, especially in underserved segments.
Challenges and Limitations
Despite their importance, credit scoring models have limitations. They may not account for sudden changes in a borrower’s financial situation or external economic shocks. Also, traditional models may disadvantage new-to-credit individuals who lack a formal credit history.
To mitigate this, banks are increasingly adopting alternative data models and AI-powered assessments to supplement traditional scoring systems.
Conclusion
The use of credit scoring models has revolutionized credit risk assessment in banks, making lending decisions faster, more accurate, and scalable. As technology continues to evolve, these models will only become more sophisticated, enabling banks to serve a broader customer base while maintaining healthy credit portfolios. For both lenders and borrowers, understanding these models is key to navigating the modern financial ecosystem.
