When the occasion for the second arises, she is driven to put the first in pause to pursue their dream. It seems too crazy even for them, but somehow they make it work.

Weekend Plans by avesnongrata: this is one of the authors of gone to the dogs, so if you enjoyed that fic, i highly recommend this one as well! it has a nice mix of fluff and angst.

The Devil's Keeper by TheTruthAboutLove: oh my goddddd i'm obsessed with this fic!! it's a 161k time travel inhuman au and it is PHENOMINAL. the way the author weaves together the different plot lines is just *chef's kiss*. since it does have time travel, it might be a little confusing at first but i promise that it all comes together in the end

The Perfect Girlfriend by TheTruthAboutLove: OK so this is my favorite blackhill fic ever and may or may not be my favorite fic of all time. it's a fake dating fic FILLED with domestic fluff and soft angst. like i said, it's my fav

Water Lilies at Sunset by Dancing_Bean: there is so much domestic family fluff in this one!! i'm not sure your opinion on clint barton's family, but they are absolutely lovely in this fic. we also get to see nat and maria being Good Moms tm to wanda!!

flawed enough (but perfect for a person) by Crimsoncat: if you're looking for smut, try this one!! (it is a sex pollen fic so if that's not your thing, maybe not this one). tragically, it's on hiatus but the angst and smut is just too good

The Lost Moments by RenaM: probably one of the best fix-it fics i've ever read!! the way that the blackhill moments are seamlessly incorporated into canon events is just SO smooth. super cute, but does get a bit angsty at times

* Family is Triumph (Helena watches Fringe (and you should have done that too to properly enjoy this fic). She identifies with the story and the characters as we do with our favorite characters. Relatively short, rated G), by amtrak12.

* Stages (Cool opera AU! Novel length, unfinished but ends in a good place, rated M), by mrsdaphnefielding. 

* Sacrifice (What if Helena had been in that alternate reality Christmas episode? You are right, she and Myka would have been very much drawn together, without even knowing who the other one was! A great fic, rated T, medium length), by apparitionism.

yep! some fics I write for the pure joy of writing, others I write to work out some emotional issue in a creative, positive (to me) way.

☀️ Has anyone ever left you a comment that made your day? What did it say?

any/every comment brightens my day!! it’s great hearing back from my readers. I especially love comments where people go “omg I can’t believe you made me like x character - never thought that would happen” or something of that sort.

“war paint” by @andypantsx3 - My Hero Academia, bakugo/reader, medieval style mulan!au with a hardy reader insert - i think this is one of the first of andie’s fics that I read (so it sticks out the most), although I adore each and every one of her stories and highly recommend them. her reader characters are always vibrant, and her stories are always very concise and robust. she has a story to tell, and by golly, she tells it.

“sugar scorched” by @arestorationofbalance - My Hero Academia, bakugo/reader - a culinary!AU that I am currently absolutely in love with. I love food, so it’s not a hard sell, but even without my bias, the setting and interactions are A+!! (Going through rest’s masterlist makes me realize I’ve barely read her MHA fics, which I need to fix ASAP...)

“baby, you’re brilliant” by @bobawithpomegranate - My Hero Academia, aoyama/reader - NSFW, cute dating fic!! + I adore the fact that it’s for an uncommon character. I always devour rarepair stuff with a quickness. looking forward to shay’s future works!!

“culture shock” by @tcheschire - Yu-Gi-Oh!, Kaiba/reader - oh my god, YGO has a special spot in my heart because I grew up watching the show and collecting the shit out of the cards - and this fulfills my cravings for YGO, bastards, slow burns, and personal growth. it is currently at 105,875 (!) words and the main characters have just recently (begrudgingly?) earned each other’s respect. Who knows how many more thousands of words it’ll take to get to a date, much less a relationship, but I am HERE for it. The worldbuilding, original characters (a whole gang of them), and pacing are all masterfully crafted. AND!! the duel scenes are LEGIT. Good multi-chap Kaiba/reader fics are hard to find and this is really a story you can sink your teeth into.

last but not least, a fic not from one of my mutuals but I have to advertise it - “A Taste of Your Own Venom” by Crimsoncat on AO3 (My Hero Academia, pairing: shigaraki/reader) is just *chef’s kiss* Be warned + respect the fic tags - it is definitely on the darker side of things, but the way the reader character and her quirk are developed, as well as the world building is fantastic.
