I *have* watched HB but it's nearly impossible for me to get through every episode because the main character is voiced by Brandon Rogers. Who also is the show's co-writer. All I can think of every time Blitz speaks is vines.

Also Alex Brightman is in it, he plays Fizzarolli, but he uses his Beetlejuice voice for the role and it somehow jumpscares me every single time he talks

so there's a reason my new job got back to me so quickly about my application and that's bc it's an absolute fucking shambles like actually perfect timing for me to decide to rewatch the bear bc i have never more felt like ive been thrown into a broke on-its-knees establishment trying to crawl its way up the ladder where i am somehow a godsend to them. my old job was crazy and shambolic in the sense that the industry is just Like That but this one?????? insanity. every 5 mins i am questioning what im doing with my life. ive already had a walk-in fridge moment

“So, we’ve been secretly dating for three months now. I-I think we should tell the staff. For transparency’s sake, y’know? What d’you think?” Sydney’s pacing in the kitchen. She took off her shirt after spilling coffee all over it and has yet to go grab a new one. Carmy’s very much enjoying the view of his girlfriend only dressed in a burgundy bra and jeans.

It takes a minute for him to peel off his eyes from her torso and meet her gaze. “You were the one that suggested for us to take it slow, so it’s your decision. ‘m cool with whatever, Syd.” His eyes drifted down back to her smooth exposed skin.

“God, you're such an unhelpful perv,” she throws her dirty shirt at his face, he catches just in time, grinning. “I’m being serious, Carm. We’re their boss and-and our relationship could make things, like, awkward or impact the business, alright? We have to be careful.”

“We’re being careful, Syd. As careful as a relationship between two chefs who run a restaurant together can go,” he shrugs. “We don’t have to tell them, if you’re feeling so pressured about it. We can keep things low and wait for a better opportunity.”

She sighs, halting the pacing. “I know that our private life is our business only and all that, but I don’t know,” it’s her time to shrug, coming closer. Carmy immediately pushes his chair back, beckoning her to sit on his lap; she gladly complies. “I really feel like we owe them transparency about the change in our relationship.”

Carmy hums, occupied kissing and biting her neck.

“God, you are a perv,” she’s giggling, squirming in his arms. “C’mon, Carm. Or we’re gonna be late again.”

“Oh, here’s something that I learned in therapy,” he stops his ministrations on her neck, leaning back on the chair to look at her. “It’s okay to care and worry about things, but you can’t let that dictate how you live your life.”

“Oh, yeah? Please say more, Doctor Freud.” Sydney is grinning; returning his lustful gaze through her thick, long lashes. Makes a show of biting her bottom lip.

“Be a little shit about it, Syd.” He rolls his eyes, manhandling Sydney on his lap. He tightens his hold of her, stands up; carrying her bridal style. “I’m gonna show you something real Freudian.”

They’re late for work, again.

A ‘better opportunity’ ends up presenting itself a few days later on the biweekly original staff’s meeting. Something that Richie, of all people, suggested to improve their communication and teamwork; a safe space—except for Fak, as Richie proclaimed as the self-proclaimed HR—to throw ideas and voice your complaints. It proved to be a success so far.

“Does anyone have anything else to add?” Carmy asks, looking up from his clipboard. They’re on the front of the house, an hour after closing. “Alright. Sydney.” He doesn’t elaborate, just waits. She’s sitting beside Natalie, laughing about something.

“Yeah?”

“Didn’t you have something to say?”

She’s momentarily lost, chuckles nervously when she realizes what he’s referencing. “Oh. You wanna do this right now?”

“Now’s as good a time as any,” he nods. Only under torture would Carmy ever admit out loud that putting Sydney on the spot like that was his way to get payback from her not shutting down immediately a customer’s repeatedly attempts to flirt with her earlier. The man really had the audacity to come to their restaurant to flirt with his girl.

“Carm…” She stands up, comes close. “Are you sure?”

“You were the one that suggested, Syd. Are you sure?” He’s slightly aware that he’s probably being shitty right now, but Sydney only gives him a pointed look, shakes her head and turns around to face the staff.

“Fucking spill it already, Syd. We all wanna go home,” Richie urges, nonchalantly dusting his lapels. The rest of the staff makes noises of agreement.

“We, uhh. I-I mean, me and Carmy, we’re… uhh,” she looks around the room, scratching her brow. Her eyes land on his and she takes a deep breath, facing the crew once again. “We’re dating.” Her voice comes out firm. “We’ve been dating for about three months now and we just thought to, like, tell you about it for transparency’s sake. Yeah.” She finishes, nodding.

The room is silent for some uncomfortable seconds.

“Kinda late for an April’s Fool joke, no?” As always, Richie’s the first one to voice his thoughts.

“Three months?” Natalie says, stunned.

“Mami, what about the guy you were seeing?” Tina asks, scrunching her eyebrows. “What’s his name? Alex?” Carmy turns to Sydney, who absolutely refuses to look at him.

“Who’s Alex, Syd?” He inquires.

“It was, like, two dates, T.” She ignores him. “And Richie, you’re always calling us mom and dad. What do you mean by April’s Fool joke?”

“Yeah. As a joke, Syd. You’re not even his type,” Richie sniffs.

“I’m sorry?” Sydney barks at the same time Carmy goes “Richie. Shut the fuck up!” The older man puts his hands up in mocked surrender. “Sydney. Who the fuck is Alex?”

“Yo, Syd. Weren’t you the one saying that dating in the workplace was weird and inappropriate?” Marcus asks and there’s something in his voice that forces Carmy to look between the two of them. Sydney seems mortified, scratching her brows again.

“Y-Yeah. I, hm, did say that.”

“What about Claire, Carmy? I thought you were trying to get back with her.” Of course Fak would feel the need to mention his ex in the conversation, as if the whole thing wasn’t uncomfortable enough as it was.

“We broke up months ago, Fak. I haven’t seen her since.”

“I think it was more than two dates with the Alex guy, Syd. I ran into you guys once and there were at least two times that you showed up late,” Gary offers, resting his chin on his hand.

“That was a, hm, a different guy, Sweeps.” Carmy almost has a whiplash due to how fast he whips his head around to look at her. So, at some point she saw two different guys and there was something between her and Marcus? And he didn’t know about it?

“Everybody, shut the fuck up,” Natalie demands and the room goes quiet. “So, you’re actually dating each other? Dating as in dating? Not an elaborate prank or something?” She inquires, looking suspiciously between the two of them.

“Yes!” They answer at the same time.

“Okay… I have questions. How did that happen?” Natalie crosses her arms.

“That’s none of your business, Sugar,” Carmy says, starts to blush.

“Which sounds like a code to we were fucking this whole time. Wait a min—holy shit. They’ve been using the working on the menu thing excuse to fuck around!” Richie puts his fist in front of his mouth, laughing. When Carmy and Sydney stutter a retort at the same time, his laughter grows louder. “I can’t fucking believe it!”

“That’s an HR violation, Richie.” Marcus offers, seemingly taking pity on them.

“Well, Syd and Cousin over here walked themselves into this one.”

“Oh, just like you walked into my knife, Richie?”

“Point taken.” Once again, he puts his hands up in mocked surrender.

“Richie, are you allergic to shutting the fuck up or something?” Natalie groans. “I still have questions! How did no one find out? Like, none of you were not even remotely suspicious about these two?” She looks around, all the staff shaking their heads.

“We decided to take things slow, y’know?” Sydney finally manages to say, looking at Carmy for support; he nods. “We wanted to keep our personal life, well, personal, but also keep things professional. This, hm, conversation was supposed to be for transparency and to assure all of you that nothing changes.”

“I feel like a lot has changed, to be honest.” Marcus mutters and Carmy need this conversation to be over so he can inquire Sydney about whatever the fuck happened between them. She’s currently sending guilty looks towards Marcus.

Angel clasps his hands together, “alright, just to get this straight and wrap this up. You guys are dating, right?” 

“Oh my god, yes!” Sydney sounds almost exasperated now.

“Congratulations?” Ebraheim offers.

“Can we go now?” Manny points towards the door.

“Hold on! I’m still not buying it.” Richie opens his mouth one more time and Carmy deems that he had enough. He puts his clipboard down, walks to Sydney, holds her face with both hands and kisses her.

He doesn’t care how out of character the public display of affection is from them. This was supposed to be a ‘just crossing some things out of our list’ kind of conversation, but of course they turned into a full circus. So now, he was going to give them a proper show.

“That is an HR violation,” Richie proclaims when the couple are breaking apart. “Expect to hear from me tomorrow.” With that, the staff starts gathering their things to leave.

“Just so you know, I’m not done with you two.” Natalie faux threatens with a smile.

“You have yet to answer me who’s Alex.” They’re back at their kitchen. Sydney’s sitting at the counter wearing her favorite faded Snoopy t-shirt, no bra this time, and a black sweatpants she stole from him, while Carmy is shirtless, his only item of clothing being a gray sweatpants hanging low on his hips; fixing supper for them.

“Christ! He’s just some guy, Carm. I met him twice – it didn’t go anywhere,” she groans. “Before you ask, the guy Sweeps was talking about is Mike. He’s an old colleague from CIA. We had a date, hooked up once and that was it.” Carmy’s left eye twitches with Sydney being so dismissive of this information. He’s trying so hard to not let his jealousy take over him. “And both of them happened way before you confessed your feelings for me.”

He nods, he knows that. When he finally got the courage to ask Sydney out on a real date and be honest about his feelings, things moved pretty quickly between them and they’ve been together ever since. “What about Marcus?”

“Oh!” He looks back, catches her fidgeting with a loose thread of the sweatpants and biting her lip. “He… sorta asked me out before the opening on Friends and Family,” she says all at once, taking a steadying breath after. “That’s why he, hm, kinda snapped at me.” Whatever she sees on his face when she looks up has her putting her hands up and shaking her head, adding quickly, “but we’re good now! It’s water under the bridge, y’know?”

Carmy only nods again, moving to set down the table.

“Are you mad?”

“Not with you, but mostly jealous,” he mutters, avoiding her eyes.

“What if I told you that you look real hot right now, all bothered and jealous?” She murmurs against his left shoulder blade, both of her hands resting against his pecs.

“Sydney.”

“Carmen.” She plants a kiss on his nape, still holding his pecs. “I didn’t tell you about it for the same reason you don’t talk about Claire – there’s no point. It’s in the past.” Sydney moves her hands to hug his waist properly, resting her head on his back. He covers her hands, where they’re laying against his stomach, with his own.

“Next time a customer flirts with you, you better tell them to fuck off ‘cause you have a boyfriend.” Carmy not only hears, but feels the tremble of Sydney’s laughter.

“Oh, so that’s what that was about.” She untangles herself from him and he immediately misses the comfort of her warmth; turns around to grab her hips, keeping her close. “I was wondering why you were being so distant during service and then decided, out of the blue, to tell the staff about us. So, you’re both jealous and possessive, huh?”

“You shouldn’t play with fire, Sydney.”

“I’m not afraid of getting myself burned, Carmen.”

this started because one of my ex best friends was REALLY into danganronpa and we were rp partners for a hot minute and liek . i ended up having a dream that kazuichi souda and keith kogane went to the mall together, told them about it n we were liek "hah thats funny" n then the danganronpa au was born even though i wasnt even into it at the time (became a major hyperfix and still is :'/)

the reapers canonically do fall within different age groups, all have unique deaths which play into their designs somewhat, uhh liek sheepdog got drowned and he has a lot of blue in his design, rein froze to death and also. is blue.,,,, a surprising amt of blue in these bitches ?.

You sat across from Seonghwa at a table in the café, his mouth set in a firm line as he read your resume. 

“So,” he started. “You’re a streamer?”

“And video editor.”

He put the resume down. “And why do you want to work in a café?”

“Well, your ‘Help Wanted’ said you paid above minimum wage. Like, way above.”

“Mhm.”

“And I wouldn’t mind having a real reason to get out of my house a few times a week.”

“Mhm.”

“And… there’s a few video editing clients I have that I really want to drop.”

His eyebrows ticked up. “Can I ask why?”

“One of them keeps hitting on me, and the other ones don’t pay enough. Only one of them is really worth it.”

“Well, I’m sorry for the first one, that’s very unprofessional.”

You nodded.

“And for the other ones, that makes sense.”

You nodded again.

“Your resume says you worked in a café a few years ago; do you remember how to make all the basic drinks?”

“Mostly. I could probably use a refresher, but, it’ll come back to me soon enough.”

He nodded and folded his arms.

“And, uh, just between you and me: I was the only reason the café I used to work at was sparkling clean.”

His brows ticked up. “Oh?”

You nodded, self-assuredly.

“Well, I suppose that I have to hire you.”

“I-- really?”

He chuckled.

“Were the people who left that bad at cleaning?”

His eyebrow raised again. “How did you know that someone just left?”

“I-- uhh…”

He smiled.

“I… heard it by accident? I mean, you and uh, the one guy--”

“Wooyoung?”

“--yeah. You were kind of having a conversation about it where customers could hear it.”

He nodded.

You nodded. You were in the clear.

“I thought you worked with headphones on?”

You were not.

“Ummm…”

“I’m not mad. I told him I didn’t want to have that conversation where anyone could hear it and he didn’t listen. It’s a good thing it was only you who heard it and not someone who loves drama.”

You nodded emphatically. “Hate drama. Don’t want it in my life. Try to stay as far away from it as possible.”

Seonghwa chuckled.

“I am sorry though. Once I heard the intrigue, I couldn’t help but listen. Can I… ask what happened?”

“Nothing more than what you heard: two of my employees who were involved romantically appeared to have convinced themselves that I was oppressing them in some way and left. They left a note likening themselves to Romeo and Juliet… driven by their passions, I suppose.”  He shook his head.

“...They know that they both died at the end, right?”

“I’m assuming not.”

You laughed. “Well… hopefully it goes better for them.”

He nodded. “I bear them no ill will, I just wish they would have given me two weeks notice instead.”

You nodded. “Well, maybe they’ll both take poison and die and have learned their lesson.”

He looked at you blankly.

“That was a Romeo and Juliet joke.”

His eyebrow quirked and he chuckled. “Sure.”

“Sorry, I sort of just say things, sometimes. Sometimes it's dark humor.”

“That’s fine, just don’t do it in front of the customers.”

“Not a prob-- wait, you’re hiring me?”

“I don’t see a reason why not. You can work mornings, which was Juliet’s shift time, and you live close enough that if I somehow mysteriously run off with someone, one of the other guys can call you in.”

You laughed.

“When can you start?”

“Whenever’s the earliest.” You smiled. “Oh my god, I’m so happy I can drop that one guy.”

Seonghwa smiled and held out his hand. “Welcome to the team.”

Wait come back, may I please ask for your thoughts on perona/law, you can't drop that in the tags and NOT elaborate when it's now in my mind

ohoho, right this way... allow me to pull back the beaded curtain as we walk together into my beautiful mind palace. is perona/law a joke? even i don't know anymore. all i do know is that the aesthetic potential is absolutely unparalleled. and their devil fruit abilities compliment each other (mental evisceration vs. physical evisceration). and their personalities both clash and parallel each other in a way that would make for the most delightfully-antagonistic romance dynamic. now, let's take a look...

(edit: oh my god this is like 2k words maybe this isn't a joke anymore. is this what you asked for? probably not. but if i can get at least one other person on this train i can die happy.)

aesthetics

let's begin with their styles, the most obvious reason to throw these two characters into a locked room (or a hot topic) together. it is well-documented in canon (and canon-adjacent, if we're including one piece party in this) that both law and perona care deeply about fashion and aesthetics. half of perona's entire "schtick" is the never-ending pursuit of cuteness, and law has customized every single element of his own clothing/his crew's clothing to coordinate with the heart pirates'/surgeon of death theme (this is unspoken but "obvious" in canon, and explicitly mentioned in one piece party lmao).

although they don't have exactly the same aesthetic styles, both law and perona sit on the goth/goth-adjacent scale--so their styles to compliment one another. law adheres to a modern/nu-grunge aesthetic (not to be confused with classic/90s grunge); jeans/dark jeans, black jackets, tattoos, piercings, statement hats and/or single "statement piece" accessories (don't think that stupid feather collar gets a pass here). modern/nu-grunge also involves layering as a style choice and uhh look at him. that guy layers. alternatively, perona embodies a beautiful combination of pastel goth/gurokawa (not to be confused with gothic lolita, which she is often incorrectly categorized as, much to my continued dismay).

i feel like i don't have to defend my classifications for perona quite so hard because pastel goth+gurokawa is more well known to the non-goth community, but for reference pastel goth involves modern or modern-style clothing with heavy emphasis on pastel pinks, purples, greens, and blues as accent colors. pastel goths often gravitate toward skirt + top combos and dresses with large, chunky shoes and patterned or styled high socks/stockings. gurokawa is literally the sub-sub-aesthetic "creepy cute" which is literally perona. (but for broader goth reference "gurokawa" can be applied to any larger goth aesthetic, although it is most commonly associated with lolita/gothic lolita, pastel goth, scene, and cyber/cybergrunge).

perona's gurokawa leanings are particularly complimentary to law's entire surgeon of death motif. part of what defines gurokawa is blood, injury, and medical horror (stitches, syringes, surgery) and law is literally Medical Horror: The Guy if you think about the really dark, awesome implications of the ope-ope no mi (i encourage you to take a look at this absolutely amazing piece of dark law fanart by feriowind, but do be warned that there is some body horror at play here). frankenstein's monster-type "things" are a fairly common style motif in gurokawa circles (in one piece, kumashi is literally the example of this), and we know from punk hazard that this is also a possible application of the ope-ope no mi.

returning to pure style for a moment, think of the potential for domestic aesthete moments here--it's unreal. picture it with me--the makeup. the sewing. the accessories. the fashion debates. the relentless pursuit of the coolly uncaring (while caring deeply) vs. the relentless pursuit of cuteness (with that "cuteness" leaning heavily on the coolly grotesque). utterly delicious.

powers

from a power standpoint, while perona might not be on the same level as the monster captains/warlords, we cannot forget that she was one of the four generals for a warlord (moria) before the timeskip. law only became a warlord post-timeskip, and we can infer that perona honed her own abilities significantly on kuraigana by taking a look at the differences in the few pre-/post-timeskip scenes we have of her. while i am a little sad that the perona-warlord theory never panned out (perona fans may remember... we were robbed...) there's still at least one good mini-analysis of perona's power scaling floating (heh) around from ask-perona (now archived as ask-perona-blog1). i encourage you to take a look!!! it still holds up even though it's from 2016-ish, and if anything i think perona's recent appearance in the manga proves she can stand on the same level with the now-defunct warlord power scale. (she's strong enough to break into an emperor's stronghold--and not just any emperor, either! blackbeard, who just absolutely annihilated law!! coincidence?? i think not!!)

plus she held back a hoard of marines so that the straw hats could escape on saobody. what a powerhouse. plus! literally right now in canon she's running around the new world on her own. literally--she made it from kuraigana to hachinosu on her own, at least until canon retroactively says otherwise re: mihawk (and we're unlikely to get confirmation either way). if that's not a sign of crazy power and (justified) confidence, i don't know what is.

thinking about the horo-horo no mi/ope-ope no mi combat potential is a no-brainer for me, too. perona's key power involves utterly demolishing her opponents psychologically, and law's power involves pulling his opponents apart physically (plus the inherent horror of living through the disassembly of their bodies, which--i know it's played off as a joke, but this is my house. think of the horror, babes!! think of the terror!!). i feel like i don't need to go too deep into this one because it just feels so obvious to me, but the two of them could absolutely dominate on the battlefield--just one example would be perona incapacitating enemies with a wave of hollows and law taking the opportunity provided to capture and dismember everyone while they're down. and that's not even touching the fact that they can both canonically float/fly. literally an unstoppable team.

also--perona literally threatened to crush usopp's heart during their fight. law has a whole thing about cutting out people's hearts and threatening to crush them. this analysis is practically writing itself.

personalities

here's where things get really fun (and subjective--i can admit that. but hey! one piece fans have made more work with less). law is extremely externally emotionally repressed (because of that sweet, sweet trauma) with a sensitive inner world (this needs no sourcing; i think we can all agree on that). perona's personality runs parallel--she is externally aggressive, but also has a softer side (1. repeatedly helping zoro on kuraigana physically [wounds] and emotionally [the newspaper]; 2. taking care of zoro post-timeskip re: saobody; 3. her interactions with mihawk post-warlord disbandment; 4. how deeply she cares for moria and her former crew).

while we don't know a lot about her backstory, we do know that perona was orphaned and adopted/raised by moria after he found her. this was after moria's entire crew was killed by kaido, so he raised her while he, hogback, and absalom set about resurrecting his crew from the dead (as zombies) and supplementing the original crew with other powerful zombies. personally, i think there's some wiggle room for a little bit of tragedy there. law and perona are both technically orphans raised by adoptive fathers in criminal organizations, and while moria does survive to perona's adulthood he's got his own baggage re: vengeance against kaido and the loss of his crew. i could go into some headcanons or w/e here, but let's stick to what we know for now.

personally, i think there's lots of room to explore a dynamic between two people who have a caring side but are too stubborn (for one reason or another) to admit it. this is a very common trope in romance stories, and i love the idea of them just like... aggressively yelling affectionate things across the room at each other in the tones of an argument. priceless comedic potential. if you want to really put them into (reductive) boxes, you could call this a tsundere4tsundere romance. they'd both be too stubborn to admit their feelings and then when they finally did get together not much about their dynamic would fundamentally change. think of the passion! the comedy! the cuteness! the drama! please, i'm begging you--work with me here.

additionally, law is a huge fucking nerd--not just in his obsession with sora. we saw how he reacted to the idea of ninjas--and i'm 99% sure there's at least one panel where he says something about franky/franky's robots being cool. he's got the nerd mentality, and i posit that perona also has the fangirl/nerd mentality. i dont think it's a stretch to call her obsession with fashion and aesthetics a nerd-dom in and of itself, because clearly i'm kind of a geek about goth culture/fashion. fandom is fandom, no matter what form it takes. plus, perona spent two years with two of the biggest sword nerds of all time (not counting tashigi--sorry babe) and canonically mihawk is into wine. you know she's developed a tolerance for monologues, infodumping, and general hobby nonsense.

final misc. thoughts

there's no crew conflict. (at this point in time, at least) perona is a free agent. she's affiliated with the thriller bark pirates, the straw hats, and cross guild, but she's not part of any single crew right now. i don't think she would ever join the heart pirates, but i like the idea of her remaining a free agent while in a relationship with law. it keeps the power balanced between them, because i dont think this could ever conceivably work in the context of a captain/subordinate dynamic. they'd have to be on semi-equal footing, which (right now, at least) they sort of are.

also--hey, i'm gonna put this out there because i'm an adult--bottom law agenda still works wonderfully here. just sayin'. perona's a top and we all know it. no notes.

honestly,,, I hadn't really planned out what happened after scm ended - but I def think they probably did take the reader in the woods xD or at least started there before moving back to their pack house

I think there wasn't necessarily 'turns' so to speak, it was kind of just touch where you want and hope you don't get in the way lmao xD but I do think they let chan go first since he's the leader - he definitely was the first to mark her (as in a mating bite). after that, I imagine that for mating bites they would probably go in age order? since that feels kind of like ranking positions in the pack: chan would be alpha, Minho and changbin would probably share second-in-command, and the others would follow

since they're also all mated to each other, there was probably a lot of 'side action' that wasn't reader focused like with Felix at the end

I'll actually have to think on their kinks! there's probably a lot I could go through, but I def think wolf!hyunjin has a thing for choking,, idk it just seems like him haha. I also think chan has a dominance thing, whether that's a daddy kink or just sir, it's definitely there. Minho is definitely a brat-tamer in my opinion, I mean have you seen the way he is with the boys?? he lives for the reader's bratty behavior and loves to punish her for it (I think hyunjin is probably the second most bratty when it comes to Minho and gets on the receiving end of that treatment xD ) off the top of my head, I think seungmin is probably also a hard dom, or at least a dom of some kind - maybe even jeongin too, since he always talks about not wanting to be seen as the young, innocent one

and aftercare is very very important to the wolf boys!! I think it would probably come down to a mating thing, like if you can't take care of your partner after 'roughing' them up, then you'd be a pretty shitty mate. there was most definitely breaks in between to let the reader regain stamina since they don't have the same stamina that the werewolves do,, and overall there is definitely a lot of aftercare between everyone and ensuring that everyone is alright. since they are wolfish, I think grooming is probably really important afterwards. bathing and taking care of the reader when it's all finished is probably the first step

and don't even get me started on knots, it's probably going to come up in the next installment of scm lol (even briefly, it will probably be mentioned as the reader discovers wolf mating customs)

Favorite colors: Red and turquoise! Though really I think I have stronger feelings towards color combinations than individual colors, like blue/brown and black/gold.

Favorite foods: Slushies and crab legs came to mind first, which really are on opposite ends of the price spectrum ain’t they. Also breadsticks and fish sandwiches!

Song stuck in your head: Neon Moon by Brooks and Dunn of all things. Also Glimpse of Us by Joji.

Dream trip: I’d love to visit Japan and buy all the Conan merch but I’d want to be able to speak Japanese at least somewhat before I really considered it, and I’m really lazy and intimidated by that. Would love to visit New York City again though! I’ve been twice and I love it there. London might also be fun to visit at some point.

Last book you enjoyed reading: Manga does count, right? Because otherwise I don’t think I’ve read a legit only-text book in years. Anyway, probably the Legend of Zelda Phantom Hourglass manga! I also managed to snag all four issues of Zombiepowder for dirt cheap and read through it one night, though I’m not sure ‘enjoy’ is the right word. It was interesting at least!

Favorite thing to cook/bake: Uhhhh. Steaks, I guess? I’m not very good at cooking them.

Favorite craft to do in your free time: YO MARSH THOSE AMVS COUNT AS ARTISTIC EXCUSE ME-- Ahem but uhh. As far as crafting goes, I’m getting into customizing Funko Pops! I’m so happy with the two I have right now and I have two more in the works! Even if I have very little time to work on them. :’)

Most niche dislike: If someone’s putting an image into literally anything, and I can tell that they’ve stretched it out to make it fit in the space. I don’t mean that they’ve taken a really small image and enlarged it (though that also looks bad bc it’ll be all pixelated), I mean it’s only stretched in one direction, like they tried to make a square image fit in an 8x10 space and take up the entire thing. It looks bad. It always looks bad! It would look less bad to just let it stay square and not fill the entire space! And I see it so often it drives me insane how someone can look at that and think it looks okay. I’ve had it done to my own art and logos before! It drives me NUTS.

Opinion on circuses: Never been, I don’t think? If I have I don’t remember it. I’ve only ever seen one at big theme parks and there’s stuff I’d rather do more than check out the big top tent.

you scrunch ur eyebrows in confusion , he?? is she sure she heard my name?? whatever,, while you were making your way to the register, thoughts just kept flooding on who he is, is it jungwon? hmm nah, hes at work.. riki?? maybe.. jeongin..? no. what was i thinking, he would never.. sigh . once you were near the register, you could see the customers .. and a blond guy with flowers..? his hair looks familiar.. im probably just tweaking

“uhmm, hyo, is there someone asking for me..?” tapping her shoulder, “yeah, that blond guy over there!” she smiles brightly while pointing at the guy with flowers.

“are u sure they’re asking for me???!” you’re confused, unfamiliar with his actions “did they ask for soo yn??”

“yes im sure, now hurry up before i push you into him.” she giggles as lightly pushes you towards him

you sigh, a wave of nervousness and confusion hits you, “uhh, hi!” finally having the courage to talk to the blond, “were you looking for me? soo yn?” he lifts his head up and your mouth went agape when you realized who it was.

“oh, hi yn!!” captivated by his dimples, jeongin’s eyes, lips, and spirit smiled at you all at once. your heart fluttered, it was contagious.

“sure,” you fix your clothes and your hair as you make your way to the other side of the register, the mix of your nervousness and the smell of coffee slightly made you nauseous.

“whats up..?” you take a glance at the bouquet and chocolate. asdomo pochacco!! so cute..

“fuck uhm.. shit hold on.” jeongin covers his flustered face, you found it cute how he gets flustered just by looking at you, “yn, will you let me be your valentine?” the cafe cheers him on, giving him confidence.

“OH MY GOD??” you bite your bottom to try to stop yourself from squealing, “i would love to have you as my valentine, jeongin!!” your eyes sparkled as the corners of his mouth slid upwards. “really!!?” he looks for assurance, “of course, it would be a privilege to have you as my date!” you wipe away his worries.

he approached you with stealth, his arms wrapped around you as tears flowed freely. in that moment, there in his arms, you felt a feeling you’ve never experienced in the 20 years youve lived. you felt warm and safe, his arms felt like security right then. they felt like a warm blanket fresh from the dryer on a cold day.

lily of the valley by daniel has always had a special place in your heart, the song represents the love you want to give / receive and now you have a chance at that. you wait patiently for jeongin outside your house, you wanted to wear a dress but the weather didn’t agree. it was a whopping 27°f or -2°c but its okay, your makeup makes up for the outfit.

ring.. ring.. you snap back to reality, ‘the loml’ illuminates on your screen, “hihi jeongin! are you outside?” you fidle with a strand of your hair, “yeah, im here” his voice echoes out of your phone speaker, you look out the window to find him as he answers your question, “alright im coming out, see you in a sec!!” the butterflies in your stomach went rabid, you’ve never felt this feeling before, excitement mixed with nervousness. you’re lucky to have experienced this feeling with him.

you take one last glance at yourself in the mirror of your home, not far from the cafe, you looked cute but you were nervous on what jeongin will think of you when youre not in uniform.

you spot his notorious hair in the window of a dark maroon car, woah.. is that a ferrari f40?? “jeongin, hi!!” you run up to him, radiating a smile at the blond. “hi yn!” he quickly gets out of his car and opens the passengers seat, “you look lovely today!” his smile was soft and gentle, full of kindness and passion.

you were shocked that he made the effort to get out of his seat and open the door for you, “what a gentleman, inniee” you tease him, “thank you, prince charming.” you were careful while getting in the seat since the car had a low exterior.

bang! the drivers seat was occupied again, you can’t believe that you’re sitting in the car of the guy you thought you wouldn’t be able to see again. “here, i made you flowers!” he hands you the yellow and pink crocheted flowers. he’s so sweet, he reminds you of the song “bonfire” by wto.

“oh my god, thank you so much!!” you place your purse on your lap, “i got you some candy and flowers! some pretty flowers for a pretty boy!” you say, proudly .

“ahhhkxnd, you get me so flustered” jeongin covers his face, his ears are so red.. “thank you yn-ah” he reaches over to you to recieve his present.

its kinda cute how your first date together is on valentines day and you’re glad it’s going well! he had wonderful manners and matched your energy which you found really attractive. i cant believe a man is capable of making me feel like this..

while you were telling him a story, you spotted a tteokkochi vendor, “ohemgee, tteokkochi!!” you pointed at the man, “do you want some, innie? ill pay!” you put your hands on his shoulders and shake him lightly.

“its alright, ill pay” he grabs your hands and stands up, he dropped one hand but one still remained intertwined with his fingers, “cmon stand up, do u want me to carry you??” he said teasingly

“nope, ill pay! you’re already paying for premium ass gas for that damn ferrari.” you stand up on the bench you two were sitting on and hop on his back, still holding his hand, “lets gooo!” you point towards your destination as he has you in a piggyback ride, so romantic!😝

after you two order, the vendor gets straight to work. “here.” the man hands out the tteokkochi, “ohmygee yn, whats that!???!” jeongin points behind you to distract you while he pays for the food. “thank you!” he grabs the food.

“youre so annoying, i wanted to pay!!” you joke around, “ouch ynn, youre hurting me..” you both giggle, he returns the joke. you both warmed up to each other really quickly since you two had similar personalities.

“come here then,” jeongin opens his arms, “im cold too, yk.” the butterflies in your stomach intensifies.

you threw yourself on him and he caught you, never in a million years you felt that someones hug can make you so happy. you had a blushing smile the whole time being lost in thoughts of him. then suddenly, you felt cold again. you found your back side buried in snow while jeongin was on top of you. “jeonginn!!” you pull his head towards you, “look what you did, now we’re both cold!” you bury your face on his neck as he does the same, he smells like vanilla and coffee (or your favorite scent.)

“it’s alright with me, id rather be cold with you than not be with you at all.” you hugged the sweet boy tighter, he slides his hands under the layers you were wearing to keep you warm. “STOPP,” you wiggle in the snow, “YOUR HANDS ARE SO COLD OMFGJDHDJF” you squeal at his face.

you move your hand up to his face, “youre getting so bold yn.”

“SAYS U??” you say in distraught “your hands are literally on my thigh and waist right this moment, yang jeongin.”

“im keeping my hands warm while you’re flirting with me and making my face cold, soo y/n.” you cover his mouth with your hand but it backfires on you. mwah he kisses the palm of your hand. “u see what im saying??”

“whatever you say mister,” you hug his neck, “whatever floats your boat.” you creep your hand up his back under his sweater

“SOO Y/N!!” his posture straightens up.
