What Israel is doing to Palestine is not a war. It's a genocide. And every world leader that does nothing about it should be called a murderer, not one that actually killed, but one who had the power to stop the killings, and refused to use it. As far as I've heard, Western media freaked out when Israel was attacked, but they have said nothing about the genocide that has been going on for 70 years. 70 years. Israel is not innocent in any way. Even if the genocide hadn't been going on for that long, Israel still wouldn't be right for it. How many more people have to die before someone does anything? How many more times can Israel get away with what they've done before their allies stop supporting them? And how much longer does this have to go on before someone finally understands that Israel is committing war crimes. This has been going on for 70 years. It shouldn't be happening at all. If you support Israel, I hope you understand what they're doing. And if you know why it's wrong, and still support them, I hope you regret this in the future. Israel needs to be punished for what they are doing. Israel started a 70 year genocide, and it's only now being recognized by the public. And something tells me that it'll be going on for much longer if no one does anything.

Israeli forces have discovered a tunnel network hundreds of metres long and running partly under UNRWA’s Gaza headquarters, the military says, calling it new evidence of Hamas exploitation of the main relief agency for Palestinians.
Army engineers took reporters for foreign news outlets through the passages at a time of crisis for UNRWA, which has launched an internal probe and seen a string of donor countries freeze funding over allegations last month by Israel that some of its staff doubled as Hamas operatives.
The Palestinians have accused Israel of falsifying information to tarnish UNRWA, which employs 13,000 people in the Gaza Strip and has been a lifeline for the aid-dependent population for years. The agency runs schools, primary healthcare clinics and other social services, and distributes aid, describing its activities as purely humanitarian.
UNRWA Headquarters is in Gaza City, among northern areas that Israeli troops and tanks overran early in the four-month-old war against the governing Islamist faction Hamas, sending hundreds of thousands of civilians fleeing southward.
Reporters on the closely escorted trip entered a shaft next to a school on the periphery of the U.N. compound, descending to the concrete-lined tunnel. Twenty minutes of walking through the stifling hot, narrow and occasionally winding passage brought them underneath UNRWA Headquarters, an army lieutenant-colonel leading the tour said.
The tunnel, which the military said was 700 metres long and 18 metres deep, bifurcated at times, revealing side-rooms. There was an office space, with steel safes that had been opened and emptied. There was a tiled toilet. One large chamber was packed with computer servers, another with industrial battery stacks.
“Everything is conducted from here. All the energy for the tunnels, which you walked through them are powered from here,” said the lieutenant-colonel, who gave only his first name, Ido.
“This is one of the central commands of the intelligence. This place is one of the Hamas intelligence units, where they commanded most of the combat.”
But Ido said Hamas appeared to have evacuated in the face of the Israeli advance, preemptively cutting off communications cables that, in an above-ground part of the tour, he showed running through the floor of the UNRWA Headquarters’ basement.
It appeared that heavy Israeli barrages and sustained winter rains may also have played a part in the departure: Several stretches of the tunnel were clogged with dislodged sand and knee-high water.
In a statement, UNRWA said it had vacated the headquarters on Oct. 12, five days after the war began, and was therefore “unable to confirm or otherwise comment” on the Israeli finding.
“UNRWA ... does not have the military and security expertise nor the capacity to undertake military inspections of what is or might be under its premises,” the statement said.
“In the past, whenever (a) suspicious cavity was found close to or under UNRWA premises, protest letters were promptly filed to parties to the conflict, including both the de facto authorities in Gaza (Hamas) and the Israeli authorities.”
UNRWA’s supporters say it is the only agency with the means of aiding Palestinians in deepening humanitarian distress. Israel says the agency is “perforated by Hamas” and must be replaced. Hamas has denied operating in civilian facilities.
“We know that they (Hamas) have people working in UNRWA. We want every international organization to work in Gaza. That is not a problem. Our problem is the Hamas,” Ido told reporters.
Lack of cellphone reception in the tunnel made geolocating it as under UNRWA Headquarters impossible. Instead, reporters were asked to put personal items in a bucket that was lowered by rope into a vertical hole on the grounds of the headquarters. They were reunited with the still-tethered items during the tunnel tour.
As a condition of taking journalists on the trip, the Israeli military did not allow photographs of military intelligence such as maps or certain equipment in the convoy of armoured vehicles they traveled in. It also requested approval before transmission of photographs and video footage taken on the trip.

Date: Feb 10, 2024
Jerusalem (AFP) – Israel's foreign minister called Saturday for the head of the UN agency for Palestinian refugees to quit, following Israeli claims that a Hamas tunnel had been discovered under its evacuated Gaza City headquarters.
Israel Katz dismissed UNRWA commissioner general Philippe Lazzarini's claim that he was unaware of its presence as "not only absurd but also an affront to common sense".
"His prompt resignation is imperative," he wrote on X, formerly Twitter.
Lazzarini, already under pressure after Israel claimed some UNRWA staff were involved in the October 7 Hamas attack, said the agency had not operated from the compound since October 12.
Instead he called for an independent investigation.
Hamas has previously denied Israeli claims that it has dug an extensive network of tunnels under schools, hospitals and other civilian infrastructure as cover for its activities.
Israel's army and the Shin Bet security agency said operations in Gaza City in recent weeks had led to the discovery of a "tunnel shaft" near a school run by the humanitarian agency.
"The shaft led to an underground terror tunnel that served as a significant asset of Hamas's military intelligence and passed under the building that serves as UNRWA's main headquarters in the Gaza Strip," they added in a statement.
"Electrical infrastructure" in the tunnel -- 700 metres (765 yards) long and 18 metres underground -- "connected" to the agency's HQ, "indicating that UNRWA's facilities supplied the tunnel with electricity", they said.
Tumblr media
[ Israel claims electrical equipment in the tunnel was powered by cables running to the UN agency compound. ]
Documents and a stash of weapons in the UN compound itself "confirmed that the offices had in fact also been used by Hamas terrorists", the joint statement said.
Katz claimed the discovery showed UNRWA's "deep involvement" with Hamas.
'Inviolable'
An AFP photographer was among a number of journalists taken to the compound and tunnel by the Israeli military on Thursday.
UN premises are considered "inviolable" in international law and immune from "search, requisition, confiscation, expropriation and any other form of interference".
Lazzarini wrote on X that its staff were forced to leave its Gaza City compound under instruction from Israeli forces as bombardment intensified in the area and had not returned.
"We have not used that compound since we left it nor are we aware of any activity that may have taken place there," he added.
Tumblr media
[ UN premises are considered "inviolable" in international law and immune from "search, requisition, confiscation, expropriation and any other form of interference". ]
The compound was last inspected in September 2023, he said.
Any suspicious "cavity" found near or under any UNRWA premises was previously reported to the authorities in Hamas-controlled Gaza and the Israelis, and also made public, he said.
The latest claims "merit an independent inquiry that is currently not possible to undertake given Gaza is an active war zone", he added.
"The Israeli authorities have not informed UNRWA officially about the alleged tunnel." Instead the agency learned about it from media reports, he said.
The UN has launched two separate probes into UNRWA, the first into Israeli claims that 12 of its staff may have participated on October 7, and the other a review of its overall political neutrality.
UN chief Antonio Guterres has spoken out in defence of the agency, calling it the "backbone" of Gaza aid.
So too has US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, who said it played an "absolutely indispensable role in trying to make sure that men, women and children who so desperately need assistance in Gaza actually get it."
==
It was inspected in September, they haven't occupied it since October, and we're supposed to believe that all this stuff was just built, installed and then abandoned completely without the UNRWA's knowledge or involvement? Give me a break.
Then crying that shutting down a terrorist front will hurt innocent people, when that front has been funnelling aid to Hamas chiefs, lieutenants and allies, training children to be martyrs, and actively participated in the terrorist attack?
Defund and dismantle UNRWA. Now.

So TikTok is getting banned in the US because its users are able to see the “Israel-Hamas War” for what it really is, a genocide,
WHILE
American mainstream media can uncritically repeat the most vile propaganda directly from the IDF, like the fake “intel” derived from torture that led to the defunding of the UNRWA.
I am once again reminded that the repugnant ethnoreligiously motivated mass detention of Uyghurs which the US was quick to identify as a genocide is several orders of magnitude less fatal (if fatal at all beyond lowering birth rate) than the ethnoreligiously motived genocide of Palestinians by Israel or the civilian death toll of the American wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
It’s not even a double standard. It’s whatever reality is most convenient to fabricate for their interests.

I really do think the “But they’re forced to serve!” argument about IDF soldiers is so tonedeaf, particularly with the current state of things. Starting with Oct 7, not only did Israel deliberately obscure that a large portion of the casualty rate of those killed were IDF soldiers by saying that 1200 Israeli citizens were killed on that day, therefore painting the attack as exclusively targeting civilians. But after Oct 7, around 300, 000 reservists joined. They weren’t enlisted, they voluntarily joined.
Secondly, Israel treats every Palestinian male above the age of 15 as a ‘combatant’ regardless of who they are. This is also true in the West Bank where innocent Palestinian men and boys are killed by occupying soldiers without remorse or justice. Israel uses the ‘guilty by association’ to also target innocent people, even those who aren’t militants but public servants in a Hamas-administered government. Note also the defunding of UNRWA based on allegations that some of its members were involved in Oct 7.
Thirdly, Israeli society is incredibly racist against Arabs. Even if they’re forced to serve, those prejudices impact their actions. They do not see Palestinians as human, so killing aside, they’re evidently gleeful when they blow up homes or rummage through and steal the possessions of Palestinians who either fled or were killed.
There’s also an increasing double standard that Palestinians are always painted as guilty because of xyz but IDF soldiers get to suddenly become civilians once they take their uniforms off and go home at the end of the day.
So I don’t care if they’re forced to serve. They’re still guilty and can refuse.

But the UN themselves confirmed it? Was it not 7 people who were let go? Dismantling Hamas and defunding it is as important as a ceasefire and peace solution, it is as important as dismantling the current israeli government. Palestine will never be free under Hamas regime and if children in UNRWA schools are taught that they must become martyrs than UNRWA too must at least be built from the ground again
The UN did not confirm it in any meaningful way. The allegations were accepted without any sort of unbiased 3rd party investigation based purely on Israeli intelligence's word as far as I could find in my own research. I don't consider that conclusive in any way.
Every single piece of evidence mentioned by the UN is sourced to the IDF or COGAT. Bro the IDF?? We're taking the IDF at their word now?? The IDF who are notorious for the ridiculous planted weapons in MRI machines video?? That's the conclusive evidence that confirms all allegations?? We're trusting the "we need to fabricate permission to continue this genocide" people whenever they shit out lies that give them permission to continue the genocide?
The idea that UNRWA schools sit around teaching children to become martyrs is also Israeli propaganda. That certainly wasn't mentioned by the UN as far as I could find. That's pure propaganda straight from the bullshiter's mouth.
And I would not phrase it as "dismantling the current Israeli government" I believe the entirety of Israel as a state should be dismantled. It should cease to exist. And that does not have equal weight or importance as "dismantling Hamas". It is INFINITELY more important to combat Israeli misinformation at every turn.
In fact if you're so worried about Palestinian children, you should be happy to know that the Hamas charter has stated that Hamas will be dismantled just as soon as Israel is. The only purpose of Hamas is the dissolution of the state of Israel.
It really sounds like you already have an established point of view that Israel can be trusted in any capacity to provide reliable information on Hamas. Erase that from your mind if you want to consider yourself an ally to Palestinians. Please we have to do better than this, guys.
PS. We do not condemn Palestinian resistance here. I have my own critiques of Hamas as a Palestinian, but I will never voice them because y'all freaks jump at the chance to invalidate Palestinian resistance and Palestinians' right to violently resist their occupation. We don't do that here.

Israel Realtime
▪️NORTH - LEBANON PRESSURE.. Syria declares that it is ready to support Lebanon in the event of an Israeli invasion of the country.  Egypt warns Hezbollah ; "Israel is preparing to enter southern Lebanon, you must consider stopping escalation.”
▪️AID - PROTESTORS get a copy of the transit papers for the aid to Gaza:  Shipper: UNWRA, Product: Flour, Port: Ashdod.  Israel is now stocking UNWRA with its left hand while complaining they are Hamas and demanding countries defund UNWRA with its right hand.  Smack - why are you hitting yourself?  Smack - why are you hitting yourself?
▪️JUDEA-SAMARIA - Counter-terror operations:  Beit Kahil, Hebron.  Beit Rima (near Beit Aryeh). Qalqilya.
▪️GAZA - Heavy fighting continues to be reported from Khan Yunis, with enemy reports stating hundreds of enemy killed.
▪️NORTH - Heavy bombing continues to be reported across southern Lebanon, the IDF is pushing back hard today.
▪️COLD ALERT… homeless and those in need of a warm space can call Ministry of Welfare hotline - 118.
▪️UNWRA.. a huge number of Palestinian and Hamas statements condemning the pausing of aid to UNWRA, after Israel provided evidence many UNWRA workers participated in the Oct. 7 massacre and subsequent holding of some hostages.  They are shocked, SHOCKED I TELL YOU, that the world could defund their organization and cut off the free flow of stuff.  Estonia has joined the funding pause.
▪️US TROOPS KILLED - US CENTRAL COMMAND.. 3 US soldiers killed and 34 wounded in today’s suicide drone attacks on the US based near the Jordan-Syria border.  The base that was attacked is El Tanaf.  It's a military base where the Americans train commando forces from the Syrian opposition, at the base of an airstrip, from the base American drones go out for intelligence activities in the area.  An American source told Reuters: the number of soldiers injured in the drone attack has risen to 34.
▪️LIES OF THE DAY.. photos of Gazan children in the mud and puddles in a tent — are FAKE via AI, but are being redistributed everywhere on social networks. On those sites, many believe that these are real photos and wonder how the photographer had the heart to photograph children like this and not help them.  (( that’s not the question, posing children for fake photos is a Palestinian industry, just google “Pallywood”.  People believe these because they seem ‘plausible’ - nobody bothers to count the billions in support, tens of thousands of tents and hundreds of daily trucks - just sees whatever manipulated pictures are distributed. And doesn’t contrast that to yesterday’s propaganda pictures, which were dry Gaza children wearing hospital isolation units as outer wear - because its fun - wasting them from use as medical supplies, that were distributed on the same networks.  An anti-truth age. ))

So a friend shared this "Letter from an IDF Soldier" post, and it's the most sickening piece of shit I've ever read. The amount of projection is quite something.
I'm not gonna lie. Yes Tel Aviv has been under attack.
But that was right AFTER Israel has bombed and razed Gaza to the ground with Air strikes and currently it's bombarding the city of Khan Younis I believe and is trying to destroy it's hospital.
Do I care about the Israeli citizens who've for the last few weeks been endorsing and participating in a genocide? Maybe the ones who see genocide for what it is. Maybe for the hostages who understand that the only way to get their loved ones back is through a permanent ceasefire which we have seen through the temporary ceasefire, this has been the only way Israel has gotten it's hostages back
Recently, Hamas has notified Israel for a permanent ceasefire again in order to get back all of it's hostages in return for Israel to stop harming Palestinians and the 10,000 hostages it keeps without trial. Netanyahu has said no.
Netanyahu has also stiked on foreign lands such as Lebanon in order to assassinate leaders. It has been bombing Lebanon and Syria and has been trying to get Iran in war too because Hezbollah is it's biggest threat.
And while it's been killing 30,000 innocent civilians, 10,000 of them being children, while it's been bombing hospitals, schools, refugee shelters, UN shelters, labeling UN workers as "terrorists", killing 108 journalists and So many UN aid workers...how many Hamas senior members has it killed? How many?
Zero.
Fucking zero.
So don't delude yourself in thinking this is a war.
It's a genocide.
It's a genocide Israel is committing on Palestinians
Israel is not a victim. It is the perpetrator. The oppressor.
The real terrorist.
So here are some infographics I have on my phone that is outdated as no doubt the number as risen since currently Israel is attacking Khan Younis and claiming once again that Hamas is in a hospital while pointing at tunnels and trying to label hospital workers as terrorists
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
And this was back in Day 85 of Genocide
Now we're at Day 108 I believe.
Please keep Palestine in your thoughts and continue to call your senators and representatives for a permanent ceasefire and to defund Israel.
This is how much Israel has spend on this "war"
Tumblr media
And this was a while back
I believe Biden already sent a 14 billion military package deal to Israel
And what's more, we have our own troops on there as well.
So yeah this is very much our war, a war that has nothing to do with us and none of us want to be a part of.
So if you care about our troops then put all the anti war energy of the Vietnam War era x 200 and stop. This. Fucking. Genocide.
Strike
Call your reps and senators
Email them
Protest
Write
Do something
But don't ever be quilted for being a pacifist and for being anti-war.
Currently this "war" is destroying our environment and not just through the destruction of human life but the destruction of trees and animal life surrounding Gaza.
This madness has got to end!

look if "genocide" Joe "butcher" Biden has Netanyahu deposed, Israel defunded and the IDF Recalled to israel, as well as returning UNRWA funding, all by november, I'll vote for him. if he can't meet or exceed that then he's too engaged in genocide, and the long term need for the democratic party not to be permitted to do genocide outways the threat of trump. there is no use fighting trump if the u.s. is nonetheless actively fascist and gencocidal.
