Oh yeah that seems like a really good fucking issue for this coffee company to weigh in on.

This coffee company is political because all economic activity is inherently political.

And so this coffee company understands that it has to take certain positions that will alienate a percentage of its customer base. But that does not mean this coffee company needs to run around throwing about opinions about Destiel on tumblr.

I am a coffee company that donates 100% of its profit to charity, and in order to survive and grow, I will not now or ever proffer an opinion on the Great Ships Of Our Era.

well well well what's this another thing for the @destieldtiyschallenge? why yes it is, imagine that. this one's for you I'm afraid @j-k-t-e because your coffee shop idiots drawing with the horribly horrible bad effort requiring background just looked like fun so oh no I've redrawn it

(here's the original drawing for reference)

as predicted the background was horrible but in a weirdly fun kind of way. I think the hardest part might've been getting the sweaters right actually because my lines are so thick that it's hard to add a bunch of details. I did rearrange some things and totally didn't flip Cas' name tag upside-down for important reasons but yeah bam, coffee shop stuff

(also I know the redraw challenge is supposed to be coming to a close but I have a couple of projects for it in the works so I'm just gonna ignore that it's ending I think enjoy that knowledge (and apologies in advance for anyone that wouldn't want their art redrawn after the deadline sorry I'm slow and maybe took on too many projects they just look so fun and I have no self-control gjfkfifi))

I'm working on my coffee shop AU called Demolition Coffee and man, it's turning into a right Hallmark movie 🙈 this plot is so silly 😅

Truly though, I'm struggling with some cheesy romantic plot points for my Sabriel and Midam stories. Any suggestions for plot ideas or maybe things that could go wrong?

They meet in a coffee shop, though not exactly the way you’d expect. In fact, nothing about Dean Winchester is what Castiel expects, especially when he claims to hunt the supernatural. In spite of Dean’s outrageous claims and Castiel’s firm belief that he is either lying, insane, or in a constant state of intoxication, they wind up in a somewhat unorthodox relationship, and Castiel finds himself being forcefully thrown into a world of demons and vampires and all manner of things that go bump in the night.

This fic poses the question: what would YOU do if you were a down-on-your-luck writer whose only goal is to scrape together enough money working at a coffee shop to make rent, and all you wanted to do was close up the shop so that you could go home, and then you were borderline held hostage by an attractive man who insists on putting salt in front of the doors and windows? If you don't have an answer to that question, well, you're not alone at least. But if your answer was "make conversation with him and offer him some coffee", then you're thinking along the same lines as Castiel.

Dean is a hunter on the run when he meets Cas, and though Dean insists that the supernatural world is real, Cas doesn't believe him. That doesn't keep him from starting an unconventional relationship with Dean through texts and phone calls. Over the next few weeks, Dean and Cas become closer, and when Dean swings back near town again, he and Cas make plans to meet. And that's when things become complicated.

I'm always a sucker for a fic where hunter!Dean maintains a correspondence with civilian!Cas via texts and calls. There's something wonderful about two people falling in love over a distance, and I'm always excited to see it in a fic. 💖
