I had no idea you'd see it lol ) would you mind providing reference pics / describe how you envision undercover!obi-wan vs little mouse!obi-wan? is there a notable difference in clothing style 👀👀👀

as for the tag i put about a little mouse/a little undercover obi-wan, ugh what a good question

im really not an artist so i'm about to give you theeee most unhelpful info ever but like. it's all vibes for me right

like, writing playmaker obi-wan, i really see him in three different ways:

detective obi-wan - probably in a very clean and pressed uniform with his hair neat if too long for regulation (which i imagine is short) - the definition of bright-eyed and bushy tailed, eager and desperate to prove himself to the force and to his father

undercover obi-wan - obviously not in a uniform. phase one of undercover obi-wan is him in street clothes he thinks are passable enough, dark colors, a bit ragged, worn through - maybe his serving uniform from his very brief stint at the strip club where he meets anakin's men. then phase two of undercover obi-wan is him in the clothes mob boss anakin provides for him and that's short and tight for meetings, maybe something generally more appropriate for around the kids but it's excessive, sheer, pretty....the important distinction here though is obi-wan wears it like it's a costume because he's undercover. he looks stiff, he looks uncomfortable, it's not something he chose and he wears it like that

little mouse obi-wan - this is the boy who chooses to come back to anakin after escaping him and while he's not wearing everything anakin provides, he's definitely relaxing into his role as designated mob wife. he definitely gives himself more coverage when allowed (aka the moments when anakin doesn't want obi-wan's father to see the cuff marks on his wrists) but in general little mouse!obi-wan is just...no longer wearing his clothes like they're a costume. he's accepted them and his place - for the most part. who knows if his hair is long or short at any given moment - it depends on how much anakin has pissed him off recently. there is probably also a fur coat involved lol

He killed Silman, the only person left alive who knew what happened to Sifo-Dyas to stop him from talking. Let's also point out that Dooku/Tyrannus told Obi-Wan that the senate was under the control of a Sith Lord. Now, we also recently learned that ARC Trooper Tup killed a Jedi after a malfunction of an inhibitor chip. ARC Trooper Fives then investigated the chips and reported being attacked by chancellor Palpatine, who is in charge of the senate. Now I know this seems far-fetched but stay with me. In a recent report from Master Yoda, we also learned that in a vision he received from powerful Force priestesses, he saw an army of clones fighting against the Jedi. Also, he had an in counter with Sidious through the Force where he learned that Anakin Skywalker will seemingly play a big part in his future evil plans. Finally, he was able to see that Sidious is a white man with a raspy voice and a prominent nose and chin. Who do we know who fits that description, I dare ask?

Jedi Council: ...so you came up with that all by yourself?

Ki-Adi Mundi: well since I'm the only one here with two brains I figured maybe I SHOULD USE THEM BECAUSE THIS PLOT HAS BEEN STARING US RIGHT IN THE FACE!

“Obi-Wan.”

Mace’s tone took on a more serious register, if that were even possible, and Obi-Wan’s eyes snapped to meet him. “I need you to understand how dangerous Lars is. The things we’ve heard…” He shook his head. “He'll test you, try to draw you in. He’s manipulative, he’s cunning -”

“A man after my own heart.”

“- he’s the kind of person who can turn allies against one another and have everyone believe he’s innocent.”

A shiver went down Obi-Wan’s spine. He was…intrigued, in spite of himself. He rarely knew Mace to exaggerate, so this Anakin must be someone very special indeed.

Summary:

“We will never agree on this,” said Obi-Wan watching the stiff curve of Anakin’s back. He cut a striking figure, even when cradled in the dark he still called to Obi-Wan. It was hard to not look, to resist the ever tightening grip of the pull Anakin exercised on him.

“I don’t need you to agree with me, Obi-Wan. I just need you to stop fighting me.”

Mob boss Anakin Skywalker is one of the youngest gang leaders to rise to power in recent history. DCI Obi-Wan Kenobi is tasked with bringing this rising threat to justice. The only problem is Obi-Wan and Anakin have history, and the Detective in question finds himself walking on a tightrope of morality. After all the heart wants what it wants.

Minovember

So I decided to take on the Minovember drawing challenge!

Unfortunately I didn’t have time to properly draw this week bc of final exams in college next week so here’s an attempt at least.

I chose “Favorite AU” for this week and nothing better than my fav AU: The Star Wars one with Master and Padawan, side by side! I will properly finish this when I have time, I swear sjakshjdasfg

Would mob boss Anakin die for the twins or Obi-Wan? Or would he always, if absolutely forced to, choose his own life over theirs?

I feel like it was this sort of question that inspired Vowbreaker (mob boss!obi-wan’s answer to “would he die for anakin?”)

I cant even imagine one dying before the other it’s so sad so instead I’m gonna answer the question: what would Playmaker!Anakin’s Vowbreaker be?

(Given the same sort of scenario of an unknown stalker intent on Obi-Wan:)

I don’t think Vaderkin would fake his death ever, even to save obi-wan from a threat—that’s just not how his brain works. Instead, I think he’d kiss the twins goodbye, REALLY kiss obi-wan goodbye, and then disappear with one trusted henchman, leaving a note to tell obi-wan that he’ll be back and to be good while he’s gone.

then brutal and senseless killings start popping up all over the city and obi-wan just KNOWS it’s his wayward husband so he puts on his detective cap for the first time in years in order to try and track him down and drag him back to the family because anything can be worked through together—he’s not going to allow Anakin to just leave him! After all, Anakin didn’t allow him to just leave after he ran the first time

Mobi-Wan wants a clean image because he wants power in a city thats largely above board. Playmaker Anakin doesn’t want elected power and he knows the police can’t touch him because the city is so different, so he can very much take a more brutal approach when trying to find out who wants to hurt/take his obi-wan away

Some picrew renditions of Te Aranu at the start of the Clone Wars and three months after Order 66 (at the start of our SWRPG campaign). He was undercover on Nar Shaddaa, investigating payouts being made to Separatist benefactors, when it all went down, and he survived the initial purge because he wasn’t living openly as a Jedi padawan at the time.
