happy foxquin week Day Five!
today’s prompt is ‘I found him in the dumpster’
1, 4030 words, rated G for the Corries staying silly :3
“Mesh’la,” Fox says tiredly, “That’s my jetii, not yours. Let him go.”
The roar of reply sounds distinctly defensive.

Dianogan Tea?
So, I was playing the Imperial Agent storyline, when I came across this.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I thought I was hearing things wrong, but nope. Dianogan Tea. For those of you who don’t know, the Dianoga is the trash squid that attacked Luke in A New Hope

Lokin, you’re telling me these mfs make TEA?!?

Dianoga were a type of cephalopod originating on Vodran in Hutt Space, but found across the galaxy. Microscopic in their larval stage, dianoga were able to consume nearly any organic material, and often stowed away in starship trash compactors. Scavengers by nature, dianoga were peaceful unless threatened or hungry.

💥 Sometimes I conjure up the strangest drawing ideas. For this one I thought, “Why not have Ty Lee, Sokka, and Suki from “Avatar: The Last Airbender” trapped in a trash compactor like Luke, Leia, Han, and Chewie in “Star Wars: A New Hope”? Plus, the episode “The Drill” from the “Avatar” show also gave me the idea. It’s just me combining elements of “Star Wars” with “Avatar: The Last Airbender”. In fact, the trash compactor scene in “A New Hope”, was inspired by the scene in Disney’s “Swiss Family Robinson” where Fritz and Ernst fight the anaconda in the swamp.

Spending the evening in medbay covered in ice packs because I forgot I was old and tried to pick up a piece of steel that really should have been a team lift (or a K8-T3 lift). My back is angry at me.
Ok, I'm only in my thirties (Probably? I don't know exactly when my birthday is.), but between a lifetime of hard work, very little sleep, and not taking care of myself, my body feels much older sometimes.
People like Hux or BR-4DLY say their body "is a temple." Mine's more like a trash compactor: I fill it with garbage. . .it creaks when it moves. . .there's probably a dianoga. . .
Anyway, I really need to start working on myself. Maybe I'll try going to the gym with Deej this week. I know I can't keep up with her workout, but she'll be happy I tried.

Mermay 2023 - Day Four - May the Fourth Be With You
I get a little tired of the fourth picture of every Mermay being a Star Wars prompt. It's not that I dislike Star Wars, it's just that I find it redundant, and trying to find a Mermaid spin on it is tricky. Besides, doing references that everyone recognizes is limiting.
This year I went a little obscure with one of my mermaids, Doris, teaming up with the Death Star Trash Monster.
I think this is one of the first times I've given Doris any good luck at all. (Provided you don't think about what she's doing in a trash compactor!)

Out of these three only Taraxin has seen any altertions, taking more inspiration from its old Mega, which is now defunct. In general they were just desperate for a tidy up. Questox are held in poor regard by much of Bretlan, old legends painting them as conniving and insidious pokemon. Some truth is present in these tales as Questox are dangerous predators, ambushing prey before running them down and inflicting their venom through their vicious bite. Intelligent and self-assured, they can be hard pokemon to train but provide a versatile partner for the dedicated trainer. Tartrap have incredibly adhesive skin which they spread thinly across their immediate area, acting as some form of living web. Whilst a Tratrap will usually wait in ambush for prey to blunder into their tendrils, they aren’t above lashing out with their eyestalk in an attempt to grab anything close enough. The eye is very vulnerable to damage and so this is a risky manoeuver, with a Tartrap preferring to protect it with the bones it collects. Once prey is caught it is reeled into the central maw, where it is ground up by a series of rotating teeth. Taraxin are heavy dragon pokemon that are slow if not tenacious predators. By huffing toxic fumes from their mouths they can quickly coat an area in a miasma that hampers vision and slows reaction times, if not outright suffocating prey. Very territorial, once a Taraxin finds a place bountiful with food nothing is going to make it leave and disputes between Taraxin for these territories are particularly brutal. --Ability Index-- --Attack Index--

Dianoga have seven tentacles, an eye stalk at their base, and a gaping mouth below the base of their eyestalk, so how the heck did the giant dianoga sport only four barbed tentacles, its base body on the ground floor, and its eyestalk conjoining at the same area as its tentacles? Must've mutated so much when it reached an insane size.

So…
Did the Death Star have a dianoga in ALL of its trash compactors?
Or was it just the one?
Apparently she ended up there by chance I think?
Idk.
