Looks like the Australian social media ban for Under 16s is still going to go ahead.

Depending on the method of age verification used (i.e. if they use a digital ID which includes birth certificates or similar) I may cease using Tumblr. I am over 16 however I don't trust social media companies or the Aus government to handle something this tech savvy (esp since the Optus breach etc.)
